Where do we begin with Taz. We were looking for someone to care for our lab Sven and lab x golden Sammy. Everyone who normally babysits in Perth for us would be at our wedding and we have never and will never place our dogs in a kennel. We were apprehensive because Sammy is a rescue and can be a bit of a handful, plus both dogs have lots of medications due to arthritis of sorts. However, Taz filled us with so much hope that she would care for our dogs as one of her own. We were amazed at her compassion towards them. Just at the meet and greet it filled us with so much relief that they were going to be cared for so dearly. Additionally, we weren’t sure how we were going to make sure they were a part of our day and Taz gave us ideas on how they could be involved. Then our wedding came around, Taz came to pick up the dogs in the early afternoon and took them for a walk and adventure before arriving at the ceremony in their outfits. She allowed them to walk in with the boys which made for great photos and then she quietly grabbed the dogs without interrupting anything if they started to become boisterous throughout the ceremony (which they did). Taz took so many photos of Sammy and Sven around the venue and with us and then took the dogs home where they played with other labs and gulden’s. She made sure they were cared for in the exact way we would care for them at home or better. After their weekend with Taz I am surprised they wanted to come back to us! I don’t think words will ever express just how thankful we are for Taz, we now wish we lived closer to Margaret river so they could attend doggy daycare regularly with Gypsea Tails. We will forever be grateful for the love and care shown Sammy and Sven and will be 100% using them in the future if we are in need of dog sitting services. We cannot recommend Taz and Gypsea tails more highly.

We recently had our Wedding down in Yallingup, and our dog Bowie stayed with Taz and the Gypsea Tails crew for three days. He had an amazing time there and didn't want to come home! Taz was so great with our boy, and especially accommodating of his extra needs around feeding & drinking with a condition he has! The photo shoot she did with Bowie at the Wedding is something we will cherish for a long time! Thanks again Gypsea Tails 🐕!!

The service Taz provides is so much more than just a wedding “chaperone” for your dog. Taz was absolutely wonderful with our anxious groodle Bobbi, providing her the one on one support, love and attention she needed to be a part of our wedding day. She helped Bobbi get through her bridesmaid duties without a hitch both on the day, and at our wedding rehearsal and we could not have been happier with Taz’s service. Taz provided regular communication updates on how Bobbi was doing when she was away from us, took beautiful photos/videos of Bobbi both before and throughout the wedding ceremony, she supported/coached my Bridesmaid walking with Bobbi on how best to handle her if she was pulling / jumping and even picked up the phone to me to update me on changes to our ceremony as they were happening / developing throughout the day (we had some wind/rain to contend with which changed where the bridal party would walk/stand at the end of the aisle and it was Taz who rang me to tell me I would now be standing on the right not the left!) Thank you Taz - you truly helped us so much on our most special day by looking after our gorgeous girl, and eliminated so much stress both for us and for her.

Recently I got married in Margaret River and Ollie was of course part of our day! My venue recommended Taz from Gypsea Tails - a dog sitting service in the Margaret River Region! Taz makes your pup part of their family while in their care and send constant updates and photos of their adventures! She even lets them sleep in her bed if that's what they do at home! She does overnight stays as well as day adventures and weddings! Taz takes them out for big adventure walks and truly makes the time spent with her a big holiday for your dog! When we picked him up he slept the whole way home very content and exhausted after getting the big sniffs! I will be taking Ollie back to Taz for his "Olliedays" while we are on "Holidays"! I cannot put into words how glad we are that we found Taz and the Gypsea Tails gang. When we travelled down from Perth for our wedding I was more nervous about leaving my fur baby with someone than I was saying I do but my worries completely left after meeting Taz. She looked after our Lab like he was her own, took him on adventures and helped us include him in our wedding day. All the while, we received updates including videos and photos that helped us relax and know that he was having the time of his life. I highly recommend Taz if you are looking for someone full of love to take care of your family member. Malcolm loves his new holiday home will definitely be coming back for another mini break soon!

We are so grateful we found Taz to look after our beautiful Luna on the day and night of our wedding. Taz was amazing from the moment we met her at our wedding rehearsal. Taz and Luna had one night together but I could tell Luna was well looked after and probably would have preferred to spend another night or two with Taz!! If there was a button for more than 5 stars, I would do it! An amazing service done by Taz in Margaret river! She helped us bring our dog for our elopement and was very attentive and helpful with whatever questions we had and accommodated to Dante’s needs. Our dog Dante had the best time with Taz and cried little on the way back cause he didn’t want to leave! Taz took Dante into her care for a few nights and even brought him for many adventures! She was always sending us pictures/video ,keeping us updated about him and what they were doing. It was very stress free! She has a very strong knowledge about dogs and how to take care of them! We really trust her with Dante! The Best dog sitting service in Perth / Margaret river! We can’t wait to bring him again to Margaret river! Highly recommend!

Taz is an absolute angel sent from heaven. We had Taz look after our two golden retrievers for our wedding weekend. We warned her about one of our dogs being dog social selective and highly anxious but he thrived with her. She is patient, incredibly knowledgeable and understanding. She gave our two a home away from home, filled with lots of love and adventures, and allowed us to have our pups be a part of our wedding. We received lots of updates the whole time! She even took them at late notice so we could enjoy a couple’s massage during our extended stay down south! Highly, highly recommend Taz and Gypsea Tails for anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their pups! Forever grateful! 🥰

We were super anxious to have our dogs away to be apart of our wedding but we are so glad we did! Gypsea Tails made our experience incredible! They made us feel so comfortable that our dogs would be in their hands. Absolutely speechless about how amazing Taz & Kate are. Truly wonderful dog people who make sure not only your dogs are in very safe hands but also they make sure the clients feelings are taken on board. From the day they were picked up we were constantly updated with photos and videos of our dogs settling into there homes with the own dogs and kids. These updates were constant throughout there two night stay. On the wedding day they were able to capture photos and videos of the dogs that wouldv'e otherwise been missed. They were also able to create memorable moment that were very special and shared through there social media that gave us happy tears. These ladies went above & beyond our expectations! We were so lucky to have found them. Highly recommed booking a doggy adventure walk. Our fur babies are calm & exhausted in the best ways possible. A truly magical bond. Thank you so much for looking after our chocolate Lab Bella🤗. First time we have left her at a boarding kennel and I was worried. But upon dropping her off and how the staff were, it put me at ease! And when we picked her up, she was happy, well fed, and had a bath, so she was so clean! She clearly loved the staff there and wanted belly rubs from them. Will definitely make sure for our future holidays to book Bella in. All the dogs we saw looked happy and taken care of. Great place! Thank you!!!

I would look past the negative reviews, every single time we have come to these guys we have been so happy and so have our dogs! Always come home with huge smiles on their faces, regardless of the dirty dog comments we were so happy our dogs were playing in the mud field that has PLENTY OF GRASS because that meant they were having an amazing time! And if you don’t want them to be dirty all you have to do is ask them and they always cater 🙂 The team were so amazing and hands on with any of our concerns ! Every single time we stay down in this area we will use them, we feel so safe leaving our babies with them ! Here’s a photo of how happy they were after a big day at daycare !

We had our dog there for a bit over 3 weeks and he lost so much weight. He was just skin and bone when we picked him up. He had no live left in him, he could barely walk. We dont know if he got sick there or if they had him starve. It was absolutely sad seeing our loved family member in such condition. We contacted the kennel a couple times while on holidays if the dogs are okay and they always said they where doing great! Never did they mentioned ones that our dog is in bad condition. He will never ever refuse any food so i am unsure what the issue was. Would defenetly not recommend for a long stay. Staff Was Friendly

Its definately difficult to find someone to look after your much loved baby- after getting a recomendation on a Kelpie page we took the chance of trusting Marlee with our beautiful (and full on) Kelpie girl Taz. From the moment we dropped her off you could tell the Marlee crew were kind and Caring people and genuinely loved dogs. Taz has stayed a couple of times and you can even tell how happy she is in the photos posted by Marlee. Im so glad i found you guys to care for our girl when we visit the south west 😁❤

My dogs are always so excited when we pull up. They just love their weekends at Marlee's. The staff are always helpful and friendly and there are great outdoor areas for the dogs to play.

Could not be happier with Marlee Country Kennels! We have two puppies one very very shy and anxious boy Leroy, and one very confident little lady LuLu who needs to be constantly busy. We were worried leaving them in a new environment, however we picked up two very happy and content dogs, who clearly had an absolute wonderful time. What was amazing for us to see is how much confidence our little boy gained while being there and how exhausted our little Miss was. It was very clear that the staff spent a lot of time with them and really got to know their little personalities which means the world to us. The care given was amazing and we are already planning our next trip so they can return to their friends at kennel. Thank you so much Marlee Country Kennels for making us feel like we can go on holidays and our little fur babies will be safe and so so happy

I would not recommend using this business for a number of reasons. When I initially made a booking for November through to December I paid a $50 dollar deposit which was never applied to my account. After many unanswered phone calls and emails chasing up as to why the money never got applied to the account I got no legitimate explanation other than " it must of been missed". I looked past this and decided to trial the facility for an overnight stay for my dog this weekend. Upon arrival all the dogs were non stop barking (understabale it is a kennel) however the majority of dogs were locked up in small unappealing cage like kennels and seemed very unstimulated with only a small portion of the dogs were out in an excersise area with no staff in sight. The staff to dog ratio seemed very off. I tried to explain my dogs temperament to the man who served us ( as he gets nervous from time to time) and I was told by the manager and or owner " we will just leave him in the kennel as he's only here overnight"... I tried to call twice in the stated opening hours to check on my dog and there was no answer,nor was my message returned. The facility had an overwhelming stench of feaces and urine. As we did not hear anything back we decided to go and pick up our dog earlier than planned because the communication is so poor. Our dogs' vocal cords were compromised as he had clearly been locked away and barking the entire time. Once again there was no staff members around but so many dogs in the facility. The website clearly states that any cancellations made up to 48 hours hours before your scheduled booking will be refunded. However I recieved an email mentioning nothing about my refund for the booking later on in the year that we opted to cancel after his stay this weekend. When I questioned my refund I was told it will be credited for a future stay despite me giving them 4 months notice regarding the cancellation. This is straight up fraud. They have no legitimate reason to keep my money and their own website even solidifies that. On a positive note there was a younger man who worked there that seemed good with the dogs and had a friendly nature and a young lady upon pick up who also had a friendly nature.

I would like to thank the staff at Marlee Kennels for taking such wonderful care of my dog while i was away recently. He developed an ulcer on his eye the week leading up to going away and had surgery 4 days prior. The staff put my mind at ease and gave him the special attention he required and i am so very grateful. Thank you so much. You all do such a wonderful job.

Dropped 2 dogs off for short day stay today while we went off to explore Margaret river, Picked them up 5ish hours later both dogs completely soaked covered in mud had been left in a muddy/flooded pen for the day Had to ask for a towel to try dry em off before we left First time using a kennel would’ve thought at least the dogs be kept clean and dry

This is Daisy! Daisy spent a night at ticketyboo boarding kennels and loved it. Lots of room to run and socialise with other pups. Brilliant owner. Highly recommend.

Our pet sitter cancelled on us last minute and these guys were able to help us out with no issue. They are SO lovely and Riley obviously had a really awesome time with them. Highly recommend taking your dog here and we will definately be using again when we're in the area! Thankyou again!

Have taken my dog here several times while we were away. He's very nervous around other dogs but within a day they have him out and about interacting with the other dogs. He always comes home with a big smile on his face.

First time putting our dogs in a kennel and the owners were fantastic. They made accomodations for our highly anxious dog. Would recommend!

Best place! We had to board our 5 month old pup unexpectedly and we’re obviously stressed about having to do so. However, our little LuLu didn’t want to come home with us! Owners looked after her as if she was their own and it was very obvious that they loved dogs and knew what they were doing. We got back a very happy and content pup. Highly recommend.

We picked our dog Mia up today after a 5 days stay and couldn't be happier with the service Steve and Gaye provide for all the dogs. They made sure she is well fed and happy. They even managed to find a dog friend for our very reactiv, easily overstimulated dog. 5 stars from us and we would always sent our dogs there again.

Happy doggy ❤ It was a little hard to find the kennel due to road works, but our pupster was well looked after over the weekend. She was worn out when we got home and had obviously had fun with her doggie friends.

Just picked up our boy Rosco Rosco has been going for 3 years now He doesn't stress and looks very happy when we pick him up . Nothing is any trouble with Gaye and Steve. Our boy doesn't really settle in kennels but here he jumps out the car and doesn't look back . Very happy to see him go in Would totally recommend Ticketyboo for your dog . Thanks guys Lea

Our second visit was great. We were so happy the first time last year that we took our 2 back. The owners asked questioned about their health, socialising and eating and genuinely cared when we checked them in. Such friendly and accommodating service. Plus our dogs came home very happy again! We will always bring our dogs back here when we visit family in the south.

Michelle is such a nice caring lady. Our boy is a sook but she managed to keep him under control. I do recommend her to anyone who is staying within the margaret river region. Michelle was amazing :) our puppers was very nervous but she won him over in no time. She kept him active all day, he actually slept through the night after even though we were in a 'strange' place.

I give this business 0 stars, I had to put one star to be able to rate. Booked my dogs in 2 weeks prior to arrival had 1chat with person who was friendly and asked for photos so I sent them and got no reply which was strange. On arrival went to see her no-one home felt uneasy messaged her who sent back that she had an incident and could not mind dogs so I was left in the lurch with 3 puppers I have messaged her since but she has never replied so I have zero recommendations for this person. I don't know what sort of incident and would have been more forgiving but common courtesy would have been gone a long way

Charlie (our puppy) came back so happy, in fact he didn't want to leave, it was like 'mummy who'? Easy to deal with. They are professional yet have clear boundaries which is imperative i believe. It makes me feel reassured. Friendly and understanding. They make you feel safe with your dog in their hands. We will continue to bring Charlie here as I know he is properly cared for. Thanks guys.

Hi Everyone I booked my K9 & paid half of deposit a week prior then on arrival paid the balance. We then got my dog out of the car & he was very anxious & excited, the proprietor had a lead & made an attempt to put it around his neck but he barked a bit! She made a decision not to take him after just a few minutes,he wasn’t growling or hackles? I was a bit shocked as he’s stayed before & at many kennels. I asked for a refund but it was a blatant NO! Check your fine print she said🤷‍♂️This really doesn’t seem fair as I had just driven an hour & she was quick to take my money on arrival. Maybe they should change the fine print & put the dog in the kennel & then pay. Regards Out of pocket $154 & plans ruined

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Absolutely hands down the WORST service I’ve ever received. Daylight robbery taking my money then deciding they didn’t want to take my dog on arrival and refused to give my money back. Do not take your dog here unless you’ve got a lap dog or they won’t accept it or give your money back.

I am very disappointed with this kennel service and the staffs un professionalism. I advise you do not take your beloved pet here as my dog has arrived back home in quite an unpleasant state. Thankyou

Ever since I took my dog here my dog he has never wanted to go back to a kennel. Very unprofessional staff and urge people not to book here as my dog has trauma and hasn't been the same since coming home

Absolutely wonderful place to send your beloved furbabies! The facilities are brilliant and Georgie and Jess are so dedicated to ensuring your pooch receives the best care. My main man Frankie loved every minute he was there!

I highly recommend Down South Boarding Kennels, I have now had a number of dealings with the new owners Georgie and Jess and they have all been exceptional. My border collie puppy regularly attends daycare at DSBK and I love that he's excited and runs straight to Georgie and Jess when I drop him off each morning. He always comes home happy and exhausted from having spent the day playing with other dogs. I know he is not only safe but also enjoying himself with Georgie and Jess.

It was our dogs first time at a boarding kennels - the ladies were so kind to my little one. A home away from home!

Amy looked after our dog Obi for our wedding weekend and brought him to our ceremony and helped pose him for photos. Obi had a fabulous time with the beach walks too. Couldn't recommend Amy more!

I will never trust anyone with my dog (or house when dog sitting) the way I do with Amy. He adores her and is always so happy to see her. She is so passionate about what she does and takes such great care of every dog in her care, like they are her own! I honestly can’t recommend her enough. If you’re nervous about being away from your fur baby I promise that Amy is the perfect person!

Amy is the best! My dog gets picked up on time and comes back absolutely spent from having so much fun with all the other dogs down the beach at the park.

It was so lovely when we collected Bobby he had been walked and was socialising with other little dogs in the grassy play area….. After having a previous bad experience with a local kennel, we felt very lucky to have found Bushlands Pet Retreat. The owners are very caring and professional and having a vet as one of the owners is a plus. We felt that our dog was happy and well cared on all the occasions that we picked him up. We would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous place! Clean, safe, well organised and outstanding care. No kennel stacking or overcrowding. After trying two other places down South, it was so lovely to have our puppy come home calm, relaxed and not sick. Couldn't be happier.

This is not a kennel or cattery, it is a pet hotel. Air-conditioned, inside-outside areas and caring and friendly staff. This is the place if you love your pets.

I 100% trust my dogs are in the best hands when they visit Bushlands. They always look great when they come home and sometimes I have to convince my Border Collie to leave and come home. Great set up in a wonderful bush setting. They are fed a healthy and balanced prime diet and have plenty of recreation time. If I could give an extra star for awesomeness I totally would
