They understand the business of taking care of dogs, from the outdoor running spaces to the spacious and clean indoor lodging, we knew our pup was going to have a great time and be well taken care of. GREAT experience! Stacy worked us into the schedule and was very flexible. The facility is clean, smells nice, and they are so welcoming. Intake is quick but thorough and Stacy gave me plenty of time to shake off the dog-mom jitters. Before we'd pulled out of the driveway our pup was already out back, running in the playground and completely at ease. Absolutely recommend for anyone needing dog boarding near Lake Norman.

Our dogs actually seem to want to stay when we pick them up. Maybe they want Stacy to come with us. We love this place and highly recommend it!

Skymark kennels does a wonderful job taking care of our dog. The place is always clean, well run, and very reasonably priced. I have peace of mind knowing my dog is safe and well cared for while I am away.

Stacy and Josh were great. We were able to take our 2 goldens to the kennel to meet Stacy and check out the facilities. They immediately liked Stacy and had fun running around outside. Kennels are indoor only but they take the dogs outside multiple times to run around throughout the day so dogs just pass out when in the kennel. Stacy was great to deal with and responds in a timely manner when you have questions. Would definitely recommend this place as it is our new go to kennel when we go on vacation.

I have been using Skymark Kennels for several years. Stacy and Josh are wonderful. They always treated my sweet Bella as if she were their own (she passed away in April). She was a bit high maintenance, in her last year or so, but Skymark knew her issues, and showed her extra love and care! I cannot say enough good things about them. Their facilities are very clean, and the atmosphere is so pleasant. If Stacy or Josh aren't in the front office to greet you upon your arrival or departure, you will be greeted by the lovely, Charlene. If you are looking for a clean facility, with kind and compassionate, family-oriented staff, look no further!

We just moved to the area, and NC in general and needed a place to board our dogs for a few hours while we took care of some moving details. Stacy not only accepted them on short notice, she also welcomed them with open arms and made us feel so much more comfortable leaving them. We will for sure be using SkyMark for our future boarding needs!

Pros, they love what they do and it shows. For years our dog has always had a happy stay at Skymark which makes our traveling so much easier knowing that our dog is in the best of hands. Issy has been absolutely wonderful with my sweet goldendoodle Matilda! I was so nervous about leaving her for an entire week or using an in home boarding service since I have only ever used private sitters for her in my home and everyone was unavailable, but that anxiety quickly dissipated! Matilda has a little stranger danger at first with everyone she meets, but she quickly warmed up to Issy! She has sent me lots of pictures throughout the week, is very trustworthy and responsive! From the pictures and videos I could tell my sweet girl was happy and having so much fun which made my heart so happy and was so reassuring to see. I know Matilda will miss her after a fun filled week, but will definitely be looking forward to using Issy again in the future!

I can’t thank Issy enough for caring for my pup, Raptor! Super reliable and trustworthy! He loved her immediately, and I know he had a great time becoming part of her family for the weekend. With him having Addison’s Disease I get worried when I have to leave him, but Issy was amazing giving him his meds and supplements. Im so grateful for her! I loved that she sent photo updates every so often and was super easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Paws & Play, and we will definitely be booking with them again 💙💙💙

Issy was absolutely amazing with my 8 year old German Shepherd, Optimus. I had a ton of anxiety leading up to leaving him after my regular dog sitter said she was moving. Issy took all of that anxiety away from the first visit up until the very last. I know I can leave town and trust that Optimus will be loved and taken care of! I recommend Paws and Play NC highly!

Issy has an amazing way with animals. We had 5 , 3 dogs and 2 cats and they all took right to her immediately. She has a great work ethic, taking care to schedule and be on time for each pets needs and owner requests. I’m very particular about who I leave our fur babies with and don’t hesitate for a minute with Issy and when we were in need of care for one of our cats, she stepped right in to help.

From the very beginning, Phoenix went above and beyond in caring for our dogs as if they were her own. She even handmade blankets for them, which was such a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, one of our dogs needed to be taken to the vet and was ultimately put to sleep while we were away. Phoenix handled this difficult situation with so much care, compassion, and love, making an incredibly tough time a little easier. Phoenix was great at communicating, always responsible, and arrived on time. I also have celiac disease, and she was so respectful of my kitchen restrictions, which I truly appreciated! If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets with the utmost love and professionalism, I highly recommend Paws & Play and Phoenix. They exceeded every expectation, and I am so grateful for their care! ❤️

We have had the most amazing experience with Paws And Play. We were in a bind traveling while our pet had been in and out of the vets office. Izzy was available to us with less than 24 hours notice to her. She was extremely communicative and professional. She met with us in person the same day that we contacted her. She sent us updates on our cat every day. She was willing and able to administer multiple types of medicine to our elderly cat. When we arrived back from our trip, our adorable cat Murray was happy and well taken care of. We cannot thank her enough and will be spreading the word!!

Issy visited and cared for our cats and reptiles while we went on vacation. Normally our outdoor cat leaves while we are gone over a period of time but to our surprise he was home still and enjoying himself as if we never left! I have only the best things to say about Andrew and his team! I hired Cornelius Pet Care to watch my cat when I went out of the country for 11 days. The service was truly so amazing. Andrew is so responsive before hand and you meet who will be watching you pet before. Every single person who stopped by was amazing, did everything I asked and I felt like they all went the extra mile (special shoutout to Abigail & Donna). My cat was in the best of hands and my anxiety of leaving my cat was kept at bay with the daily report cards and photos. This was such an easy and wonderful experience. I highly recommend Cornelius Pet Care for any of your pet sitting needs. Thank you so so much!!

I hired them to watch my pets while attending a family member’s funeral out of town. I gave them the dates twice. They claimed to have written them down. When I returned home I had found my animals starving and thirsty, and feces and pee everywhere. I had to throw away a $250 living room rug. My children and I cleaned for days. When I confronted them about the situation, they stated that I gave them the wrong dates. I assured them that I did not and that they made a mistake. They proceeded to tell me that because I am grieving the loss of a family member that I was hostile and upset and that they would take no responsibility for their actions. Thank goodness my pets survived. They also blocked me from messaging them about the incident after I asked for reimbursement. Safe yourself the trouble and hire someone else for your fur babies! I read your response to this btw. Everything you just stated is a lie. None of that is even close to true. The lengths you will go to avoid accountability is disturbing to say the least. I hope no one else ever has to experience something like this from your business ever again. I would like to let you know that while you blocked me to hide the messages between us, I did take screen shots of all of them. I will see you in small claims!

Absolutely recommend Andrew and Carol Ann. They are super reliable and wonderful with all three of my fur babies. I love the updates and pics they send, really puts me at ease whenever I go out of town. All three always have a great time when they come by to visit.

Cornelius Pet Care LLC is an awesome company. I used them several times while I was out of town. They took great care of my dog Jax. I received pictures everyday of Jax. They even brought him snacks.

A neighbor recommended this sitter so I called and he had me go to his site and fill out a lengthy questionnaire, add CC info and setup a meet and greet. THEN he reads my lengthy bio and sees I have Rottweiler, calls and cancels the meeting. He could have asked the breed on the call and not wasted my time. If you fear Rottweilers you seem to be in the wrong business.

We've used Cornelius Pet Care for a year and a half now for our four fur babies (2 dogs and 2 cats). Whether we are a couple hours down the road or on another continent, we've felt really comfortable leaving our pets under their care. We get updates after each visit and we laugh at the pictures they take while on our trip. Their booking services are easy and convenient to use and they are always super flexible with scheduling to accommodate travel changes. Definitely recommend to friends in the area!

My husband and I are so happy to have found Cornelius Pet Care. We have 4 pups and they need to be walked daily/ let out while we are working. We trust Andrew and Carol Ann to come into our home and take care of our furbabies. They give our pups fresh water, change out potty pads and give our pups lots of attention/ treats. After requesting services on short notice (2 weeks before Christmas vacation), Hope, got back to me very quickly and was able to accommodate pet sitting for our 3 cats for a whole week. Lakeside Pet Sitting uses a website that is polished and professional and connected to a companion mobile app to post updates, chats, and pictures of your pets directly to your phone while you are away. Nina, was the person who watched our cats while we were away, and she is absolutely fantastic. She contacted us upon arrival and departure, and gave a detailed update of how our cats were doing and what she did to keep them balanced and happy every single day. She also posted several pics of our cats upon each visit. We were extremely pleased with the attention to detail and the care given to our kitties. I highly recommend Lakeside Pet Sitting, and definitely plan on using them again.

We had the best experience at K9 Cabins! Our 4 month old puppy came back better behaved, smelling amazing with nicely cleaned bedding. K9 Cabins was happy to accommodate all our puppy’s needs with supplements and continued kennel training inside her cabin. By far the best kennel we have ever had for our dogs in 25 years of being dog owners. The facility is amazing. The people truly show love and compassion for your dog and their needs. They meet the needs of each dog big and small. We have a dutch shepherd who most places do not take because of his energy level and he is right at home here. Absolutely exceptionally clean and well maintained building. Very homey feel. The very best in the business.

Took our dogs here as we had a great experience with our previous dogs. For us, it's a 45 minute drive to get here but it's well worth it. Our boys get their own little cabin. The whole setup is great. The staff love on their dogs like we do. Looking forward to returning.

K9 Cabins is the only place we board our dogs! The staff is knowledgeable, passionate and energetic. The facility is clean, diverse and entertaining. Whether it was boarding our old men (10/11 yr olds) or our rambunctious puppy, they fit their needs. Our dogs LOVE when we pull into the driveway! Not to mention they always come home with the cutest pictures and smelling o so good!

We are boarding our dogs for the first ever . They allowed us to come check out the facility and bring our dogs last Friday. Then we did a daycare stay for 4 hrs on Tuesday so they could get comfortable before we left them for several days. The cabins are very clean and the staff are super Friendly and caring.

We've been using K9 Cabins for the past five years or so with our two dogs. It's so nice to have a mom & pop run operation in these days of corporate run boarding houses. The staff is always so friendly and wanting to do their best for their clients. It's always a great experience to come here.

What a fantastic group of people. You can tell the owners and staff love what they do. My newest fur baby was a guest here. I could tell he was well cared for and treated with love. They offer a new service partnering with Lake Norman Pet Services for transportation. I used them to bring my little guy home due to scheduling conflicts. Karen was very kind and brought him home safe and sound. I highly recommend both companies.

We have used K9 cabins for 13 years. The staff is exceptional and they offer an "at home feeling" accommodation to your pets. We always know that our pets will be well cared for and loved while we are away on vacation. They are very attentive to our pets and spend lots of time playing with them. On one occasion one of our weimies had developed a medical issue after we dropped her off, they took her to our vet for treatment. That is the type of care and attention your pets will receive at K9 cabins. They are the best! Give them a try, take a tour. You will be happy that you did. We consider them a part of our family and will always choose them to care for our pets.

I boarded my 5 mo old Morkie, Obi at Doggone Fun when my regular pet sitter had a conflict. They was great. I called a few weeks before our trip to arrange a spot, find out what was required and register Obi. I was pleasantly surprised to find I could easily send his records with a quick scan/text. Drop off was so easy. They are extremely organized, and promptly had all our information matched up, checked in and literally in less than 5 minutes we were back on the road. I called to check on him during our trip and was pleased to hear that he was a favorite of the ladies. They have me a detailed update and assured me he was doing good. Eating, drinking, sleeping ok. I loved getting a check up, and never worried. Pickup was a breeze. Obi was so happy to see me! They had his things ready, and he was playing. I highly recommend Doggone Fun!

My fur baby means the world to me and I wouldn't trust anyone else with her. She goes for daycare and boarding when needed and she loves it. Everyone is so sweet and caring and Reese is amazing!

Best place to trust with your furry family. My dog is not the most friendly but was greeted with love and care. He stayed for two nights and obviously had a blast. He made friends with the staff and apparently had a good time with the other doggies. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Great place to leave your dogs and place your mind at ease.

Called to get some general information about day camp. I was told we have to do a meet and greet and I was fine with that. Then they asked what breed my dog was and I said a pit mix. The person I was on the phone with said "We don't feel like dealing with pit bulls." Right before I hung up the call the person said again "We just don't feel like dealing with pit bulls that's all." I understand breed restriction due to insurance and, and that's fine, and what can you do? But there is absolutely no real reason to be rude and mean to someone just trying to get some general information. I understand there is a stigma and a "reputation" with bully breeds but I feel absolutely disrespected and the fact that they didn't give me a good reason for not having my dog there was enough for me to never suggest this place and I will never bring my dogs there.

My dog has been to Pets R Home for daycare and boarding. She was always happy to be there and play with the other dogs. The owner has been in business for a very long time, is very knowledgeable about animals and she and the staff take excellent care of the animals. They have separate areas and buildings for cats, small dogs and large dogs.

If I could give a zero I would. You trust a boarding facility to care for your fur babies when you can’t take them with you. You put your faith in the hands of someone else to treat them like their own and return them to you happy and healthy. How disheartening it is to learn that not only did the facility not take care of them, but allowed their body to be left outside covered with a sheet in the elements after it was discovered that they passed. Our family dog, a member of our family, was left exposed to the heat unsupervised. He passed away scared and alone. He was only at the facility for two hours and had gotten a clean bill of health from his own vet days before. We don’t have answers. The response we have is “these things happen.” Do you know how these things happen? They happen by someone not paying attention. This facility was negligent in the care of our family dog and allowed this to happen. Yes, allowed this to happen. Had someone been properly monitoring the outside area they could have seen he was in distress and maybe I wouldn’t have to leave a 1-star review to warn everyone about this place. But that is not what happened. Instead, our family dog does not get to come home. He will no longer run to greet us, bark at the delivery man, or give us kisses. Now all we have left are our photos and memories. What a shame.

I would not recommend this place. To get a phone call saying your family dog has passed away in this boarding facility is something nobody should ever have to experience. Our dog was perfectly healthy and then suddenly he passed at this facility. I am beyond angry and disappointed in this facilities care for my dog. My dog doesn’t get to come home to his family anymore because of the negligence he experienced while “boarding” for 2 hours at this place. As a family we are grieving and hurt knowing what this place did to our dog.

My dog Gracie goes to see Kim at Pets R Home on a regular basis. In fact, she knows when she is going and goes wild while I am getting her bag ready for her little bed and breakfast stay. She is put with the dogs that she is well suited to interact with and Kim is so professional and is constantly working on making the facility more dog friendly on a consistent basis. Every time I go there she is doing something different to make their lives happier. I love how she has the little pools in the summer for them to wade and play in. My dog absolutely loves her almost more than me at times and the time she has there is so valuable that I would not know what I would do for her to get all of that energy out if I had no discovered this excellent business and great place for my baby girl. We want the best for our children and she is like a child to me and I have found the very best that there is out there. Thank you Kim for doing such a wonderful wonderful job with our baby Gracie. You take such great care of her and she loves you so much. Kim also spends a lot of time with trying to find homes for dogs that have needed rescuing. I have no idea how she finds the time to do all she does. She is definitely doing what she was called to do.

We have boarded our dogs here multiple times and will continue to do so. Kim and the others love what they do and you can see it in their interaction. We will get videos or photos from them while we are away and they will always answer if you're wondering how your fur babies are doing. They will board cats as well!

Miss Kim takes such good care of our little one! She lives right on the property and has a separate little home for small dogs, large dogs, and cats. She has a huge heart and has rescued many animals as well! Our dog get excited every time he goes there and sees her. That makes me very comfortable dropping him off knowing he's getting top-notch care! Miss Kim takes care on their health and behavior and gives me an update every time I pick him up. So thankful to have her!

These things can happen, especially if you leave a dog out in the heat. Don't board your animals here, unless you want them to not come back home. UPDATE: Since you clearly don't know how to own up to your actions and instead want to say I don't know what I'm talking about, why not address your recent inspection which found several violations?

If you are lucky enough to live near Pets R Home, it is the absolute best place to leave your pet. Kim is one of the kindest animal lovers I have ever met, and will make your pet feel comfortable and at ease. It's like a home away from home.

Our dogs have been going to Pets R Home since they were puppies. They go to doggy day care every Wednesday (Tuesday and Wednesday are special prices) and they also board there when we are away. The owner is fantastic and lives there - so it's not like a vet, where there is no 24/7 live coverage. I couldn't recommend this more.

This was the best pet sitting experience I have ever had. From our first communication to the last visit, absolutely amazing. Thank you for caring for my Penny girl and treating her like your own. Our experience with Great Dog Days was simply AMAZING! 🤩 We were traveling from out of town and needed a dog sitter for the daytime. The communication in advance and during our visit was everything we needed to feel comfortable leaving our dog Winnie with Lesley. Winnie was definitely well taken care of and seemed to have really made friends with the other dog. The photos and communications throughout the day also helped us know Winnie was safe and in caring hands. I would absolutely give more than 5 stars if I could. Lesley has been coming to my place to walk my two little dogs (8 & 13 lbs) for a few months. We just moved here from California and I didn't know how I'd manage. I am so happy I found her! They love her, she takes pics and sends them to me, and texts me a daily report. She is a natural and a genuine dog person. Always reliable and responsive, warm and professional. We are very lucky to have her! She even made me this little picture today and texted it to me while I was at work!

We are so grateful for Leslie and Great Dog Days. Our Lucy was taken care of wonderfully. She has severe separation anxiety so finding a place that would give her the environment she needs was so important and Leslie did just that. Lots of toys, companionship, snuggles, and walks. She sent us photos and videos of Lucy throughout the day so we wouldn't worry. Leslie was very thorough and professional - getting health info etc, but was also friendly and easy to work with. Thank you so much for being so kind to Jager and doing exactly what you said you would do, for coming when you said you would come let him out and for spending some time with him. Leslie was a Godsend to us. We interviewed her and she did a meet and greet with our dog first and we found her to be charming. Our dog loved her immediately. She was very accommodating. We had to be out of town 12 hours a day every day for over a week. We are retired so Jager really needed her loving visits. Each day she sent us a photo and a video of him every time she came by to let him out which was awesome and gave us much needed peace of mind that he was okay. We highly recommend Great Dog Days and Leslie to anyone who wants to rest in complete confidence that their dog is being very well cared for. We certainly plan to use her again.

Lesley was SO great to work with! She was attentive with any questions we had and gave us several reports at how our pup was doing while we were away! She was incredibly friendly and our dog always had someone to play with. He was exhausted for days when we brought him back home! I highly recommend her service and we'll be sure to work with her in the future when we're away!

Great service for my pup. Lesley is easy to reach and wonderfully organized with her business's schedule. I loved the picture updates I got on their walks. And my dog had such a great time with her. Lesley was totally open to changing around her schedule to help me out one day, too. 11/10 would recommend!

While I am a dog sitter myself I have never used Lesley’s services. I have referred many of my own clients to her for different reasons. I have always received glowing comments about how Lesley takes care of her clients and especially how she takes care of the pets she has been put in charge of. We got to know each other working the same area and she is always happy and appreciative in doing what she does. My dogs love it at Club Pups! They get so excited to go. The owners are hands on and really nice. It's easy to book an appointment. We bought a Daycare package. We're also going to board our boys when we go on vacation. I highly recommend!

Warm, friendly staff who adore dogs and make you feel right at home. My wheaten terrier loved her play time and I knew she was in good hands. From a clean kennel, safe environment to having an amazingly fun playtime, she didn’t want to go home! She even had her picture taken and a copy sent home with us! I highly recommend Club Pups! My dog Zoey loved her first play day at Club Pups!! Was greeted by Dustin, the owner who was incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions. Zoey did great and had fun with the other dogs and the staff. We got the cutest picture of her playing and they filled out a little report card telling about her day. Was awesome:)! This was my first time trying any kind of puppy daycare/boarding and was really happy with the whole experience. Think Zoey wanted to stay longer lol!! Fantastic place:)!

We tried out Club Pups for the first time today for daycare and I have already made 4 more reservations for our energetic (and big!) puppy, Norman! Dustin was thorough and friendly in explaining the daycare process to me as a new client. They provided me with a printed picture of him on his first day (attached) and a report of how he did & who he played with. Norman even came home with a cute Club Pups bandana! The little extra touches definitely were noticed and appreciated! At the end of the day, Norman was happy and tired — and that’s the best I could hope for! Will definitely be a returning/weekly client so Norman can have more fun at the Club. Highly recommend!

My little yorkie, Ebenezer, took a vacation for 5 days at Club Pups, and he had a great time! They posted pictures of him playing with the other doggos, and said he did great. My pet mom anxiety was eased in advance by them being great at answering my questions, and we did the evaluation which turned into a day of day care previously and it all went well. I’m impressed with the staff and facility, and the pricing is very reasonable.

We have been taking our dog Risky (7 mo old mini Goldendoodle) here for a few months now and are very pleased with Club Pups! She looks forward to hopping out of the truck to go in, and once we pick her up she seems tired and chills all evening (which is a plus with a pup). The staff has been nothing but friendly, welcoming and informative. Highly recommend.

Laura and her team have been very good to our fur babies. Our pups can't wait to get in the door to play and leave happy and tired. When we board them, we have no worries that they are in good hands. We received updates and photos during the boarding time. We are grateful to have a place we feel comfortable about sending them. Club Pups is home away from home for our dogs.

My dogs had a wonderful time there! They came back happy and tired. I have 3 large dogs, 2 of which are Great Danes, and it is often hard to find boarding facilities that are able to accomodate large breed dogs, but Club Pups made my dogs their priority. I highly recommend them for boarding or day care.

We are so excited about our Aussie Ash’s first playtime experience! He made friends and had great exercise. They are a first class establishment; putting adorable bandanas on pups, and giving owners a folder filled with very informative and organized information on all the questions you may have. Di Dio has been grooming my very old, very sweet boy for a couple of years now. When I pick him up, he's always happy and excited. He looks and smells great. I enjoy the staff and feel confident leaving my little guy there. I have never boarded any of my pets there, but the facility is very nice and in a good location off the main road.

Highly recommend. Our Pomsky was groomed today and she was so happy when we picked her up. Staff is punctual, attentive and really did an outstanding job grooming our dog. They gave an estimated time for pickup, called when she was done and were spot on. Very friendly and helpful.

Their services are questionable, beware of this facility. Make sure to ask closing time, sign outside their gated driveway say 5. I got there yesterday at 3:45. Yesterday they locked my poor babies in there overnight. And yes they charged me for boarding them. I didn’t want to argue so I paid. My babies have never been boarded. They have lost my business. My dog was injured with warm razor causing fever, wounds, uneven nails, leaving him in excruciating pain. He is unable to walk now. He has suffered. Yes, he is a doodle but has been groomed in several locations with much more tangles. I wish I could post pictures because he is now bleeding and down to bare skin. They refuse to refund the $95 that caused this trauma. He hasn't slept since the visit. Terrible experience that traumatized and injured our beloved family pet. He needs vet care ASAP due to their terrible treatment they caused yet refuse to refund. I could have easily groomed him better. Strands of hair still, bright red skin, severe pain and trauma, fever and bleeding from his experience there. Forwarding to his vet so they can treat him for injuries sustained.

I love taking my baby here to get groomed they do such an amazing job she loves it they always put little bows in karmas hair and they stay for a good while we always go home put pretty little dresses on and take lots of pictures she smealls so good got days she's definitely spoiled

Took great care of our three Mini Aussies while we were away. Very happy with them and will definitely use them again.

My dogs are boarding there and Mel was so patient with me getting lost…lol. She went above and beyond to make me feel better leaving our baby’s behind. We’re brining our birds, and we know they are taken care of for sure. Amazing service there.

We have a very high maintenance dog that needs constant attention. He has stayed with Di Dio twice now and the experience has been the best we have ever had with a boarder. It is so nice to go on vacation and never have to worry about your dog’s needs or safety. Thanks for everything!

I have been using Di Dio for 20 years. I would never want to board my pets anywhere else. Very clean. The employees take excellent care of my dogs. They are very accommodating to my pets needs and I have never felt uncomfortable leaving my pets there.
