Sue and Richard were greeted enthusiastically by the dogs ! They sent me pics of the dogs having a good time on the beach . Which is always reassuring. I can recommend them as dog sitters and they arrived on time and were packed up when I got back
You know your sitter has bonded with your dog when he decides to jump in her car after excitedly reuniting with us, as if to say "its been lovely seeing you, mom and dad, but Stacia and i need to hit the road"... Stacia ticks all the boxes you have for a pet/housesitter and then some. We came home to a clean house and a happy pup... We appreciated the frequent pictures and updates from her and look forward to inviting her back.
I was very happy with the love and affection that was very apparent when Travis and Shannon met the pups. I received one picture on my trip and was happy to see Shannon cuddled under a doggie pile. Nothing like seeing your dogs being loved by others as their own. Every thing was in its place when I return which was nice. I also received a welcome home gift handmade by them which was very lovely and made my day. I highly recommend them as trustworthy and reliable pet sitters to anyone.
Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.
Cleo is a very lucky puppy dog to have been cared for by Matt & Lisa! We’ve had quite a few sitters over the last 2 years with TH, and I have no reservations saying that they were the best! First, communication was fabulous from the start. They put me at ease before they ever got here. Throughout the sit, there were regular updates and pictures. They were so very attentive to Cleo, and even ventured out with her on trail walks (Cleo’s favorite thing in the world). They handled her medications with no problem. It was obvious that my nervous pup was at ease and loved them, as she ended up sleeping with them! I’d have Matt & Lisa again in a heartbeat, and would recommend to anybody!
Mikayla was a superb house/dog sitter for us for one full week. She was an excellent communicator, very quiet and tidy (respectful of the space) and best of all she quickly bonded with our big dog Mouse. She cheerfully took her for long walks and shared photo updates regularly. I highly recommend Mikayla.
Joanna and David were absolutely perfect!!!! This was my first actual time using a sitter and they went above and beyond what I expected. I have a 1 year old Bully Breed that I adopted 6 weeks ago, so if you know dogs you know what they had to deal with :)) They sent pics daily and kept me updated. We were not able to meet before I left but they were nice enough to stay to meet me when I returned. My house was cleaner than when I left, all bedding and towels washed. Charley, my dog, was happy to see me for a minute when I got home but immediately went back to play with David, so I am thinking she had a blast while I was gone. I am totally sold with this process after having Joanna and David here. If you have the chance to book them for your trip, you will not be sorry. I am hoping to use them again when they return to Florida.
Jamie was a lifesaver! Our confirmed sitter canceled just greater than 2 weeks out from our trip, and after just a short chat I could tell that she was ideal for our home and dogs. When we had a Covid exposure just before leaving for our trip Jamie didn't miss a beat. We did a hand-off of the dogs and home outdoors to keep her safe. We unfortunately had another exposure just before returning home, so were bummed that we couldn't spend some time with Jamie before she left us. Jamie is dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. She is an excellent communicator and sent us the cutest pictures of our dogs. We knew Teddy and Bella were in very capable hands while we were away. Jamie left our house very clean and with all the linens washed. She even left a plant and thank you card, so thoughtful! We would love to have Jamie back at any time to sit for us. I give her the highest recommendation!
Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.
Lori and Joe took great care of our two dogs and tow cats while we were gone. Our plans changed and we actually asked if they could come a day before we had originally planned to leave and they said no problem! They even stayed over on the night we got home so that we could meet them which was very nice! Lori was very good with communication before the house sit and also during the time they were here. She let us they had arrived safely and then sent us a short text or pictures every day of the animals. The house looked cleaner than when we left it when we got home! Lori and Joe were great house sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

I am so lucky to have found Fur Babies Pet Sitting for my family pets! Mikayla is wonderful with my dog & cats, even the shy ones. She takes the time to get to know their individual quirks & personality. The app makes it so easy to know when she's doing her visits & it's so fun to see the photos when I'm out of town. There is definitely peace of mind knowing that my pets are cared for in such a loving way. I highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a responsible (& fun!) pet sitter!
I can't thank Mikayla enough for the incredible care she provided for my bunny, Off-White! She went above and beyond to ensure he was happy, healthy, and comfortable while I was away. Mikayla's attention to detail and genuine love for animals was evident from the start. She kept me updated with photos and made sure Off-White had plenty of playtime, fresh food, and lots of love. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in her capable hands. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for your furry friend, Mikayla is the absolute best!
There are not enough words to describe how amazing Mikayla and Fur Babies Pet Sitting are. When my dad was unexpectedly hospitalized, I was in need of someone to take care of his cat since I live 70 miles away. Mikayla came to the rescue and provided the most excellent care of Allie until my dad could return home. I’m forever grateful for the time she spent with Allie, the photos of her, and the thorough updates. Mikayla, you are THE BEST!
My fur babies love Mikayla!!! She has such a passion and love for animals!
Fur babies pet sitting will be one of the best decisions you ever make for your pets!! Mikayla is by far the most loving and passionate person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. We love the updates and seeing our babies so happy while we’re gone and when we return home! They’re treated as though they’re family and given more love than I could ever ask for. We are so thankful for Fur Babies Pet Sitting!
After moving to NC 5 years ago it has been difficult finding a good pet sitter. I have finally found someone who is very caring, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. I would totally recommend Mikayla at Fur Babies Pet Sitting. You will not be disappointed!
Mikayla continues to exceed our expectations! She treats our fur babies as if they were her own! We are so thankful that we found her and will continue to use her every time the opportunity arises!
I was blown away by the amount of LOVE Fur Babies pet sitting showed my 2 cats. I have never used a pet sitter as I have been lucky with available neighbors in the past. She took the time to come by my house for a Meet n’ Greet before I left town. One of my cats sat at the door for 20 minutes after she left looking for her! She stayed much longer than I asked and brought treats and toys. She sent videos of them playing and pictures of them being loved while I was out of town. It was more than I could have ever asked for, and I will def be calling her again!
Absolutely love Fur Babies. I have never had white glove service for my Fur baby. Makayla does a fantastic job. I know my Riele is safe, happy and protected.
Very caring and loving. Goes above and beyond to make sure all the pets needs are met. Highly recommend if you need a pet sitter for a few days out of the week or for vacation. She has reasonable prices, she also updates with pictures every half hour! If you’re in the area don’t pass the opportunity give her a shout!!!! :)
Just moved here and I am so glad I found a new place I trust with my babies! Super easy to get an appt. Drop off was smooth. Fast service. pick up a breeze. Clean and well maintained. I have a yorkie with medium hair and a Maltese. They couldn't have looked cuter.
I can't recommend Posh Paws highly enough! I have an American Bully named Walter and they always make him look absolutely fantastic. The team here is amazing - professional, friendly, and they genuinely care about their furry clients. One thing that stands out for me is the way they handle nail trimming. Walter's nails are always perfectly trimmed, a detail that's often overlooked at other places. At Posh Paws, they take care of every aspect of grooming to the highest standard. The level of service here goes beyond just making Walter look great. They make him feel great too, which is something that, as a pet owner, I truly appreciate. Each visit adds to our positive experiences and Walter can't wait to get back for his next grooming session. If you're looking for top-tier pet grooming services, look no further than Posh Paws. They're the best in the business. Thank you, Posh Paws, for consistently giving Walter the VIP treatment he deserves!
Our Golden Doodle is currently 7 months old, and this was her first grooming visit...Amanda did an awesome job with her and gave updates on how well everything went, as well as some of what we might expect to see with her coat in the next few months. Especially if "life" has gotten away with you and you're getting a later start on initial grooming like we did, I highly recommend Posh Paws! We're already looking forward to our next scheduled visit - we know what a happy, beautiful, great-smelling baby we're in store for!!
I take my two dogs here and have for 2 years. One is short hair, one has long hair with a double coat, and they do amazing with both!!! Our large farm dog has had some pretty serious fur mats, and they always take care of everything, but in a way that both my dogs are totally comfortable in the shop. Couldn’t recommend them more! Pictured is right after our Aussie’s recent appointment. Can run my fingers right through it!
This groomer is top notch. She puts the health and wellbeing of the dog as priority one.. in addition she provides superb grooms. My dog has benefited from her expertise. She has even squeezed him in for an emergency flea treatment. She is constantly bringing knowledge back to the customer that is current (TheraClean) and puts the heath of the dog first. My dog is my fourth child and I trust him in her care wholeheartedly.
We just moved to NC and I was stressed out looking for a good groomer for my Bichon. So many groomers don’t know how to do a Bichon cut. We had been traveling and his coat was very long and matted. She was a magician as she was able to get the mats out without resorting to shaving him (which was our fear) and he walked out with a great Bichon cut!! I am so relieved to have found Amanda!! She is an excellent groomer!!
We have had our Daschund(Toby) groomed here for almost 4 years. Amanda and her crew are great. They take great care of our Toby. You will not find better people or groomers!
I've took my Lilly there 2 times and each time they have done an awesome job. Lilly loves them too. They are kind and very good groomers.
Independent places are the best. I've had many good experiences with PP. Nice owner & workers. They are quick & do great work. My 1st pick for Mollie dog. She seems to like it too, even if they have to touch her paws....which she can be a baby about. 🐶😁✂ …
Well...I have used another groomer for the past three years and I was never that pleased with the results on my black golden doodle. I thought it was just a difficult coat. I decided to try Posh Paws when I saw a friends dog they had groomed. Boy, what a difference, she looks how I expect she should and smells so good too. After only one visit I highly recommend this business. They are friendly and professional, and the cost was the same as the place I had used before with unsatisfactory results.
My Zoey has chihuahua syndrome and nips at everyone lol. She loves Emily. My babies, i have 4, always look so good after she grooms them. They all love her! I trust no one really with my babies and trust her 100%. As long as she is in business and will work with my babies i will not go to any other groomer. Thank you so much for your amazing work
First and Last time I’ll ever take my dogs here! They stay in small cages all day long! God knows how many times they actually got taken out! My sister left HER DOG some dog food cause she’s allergic to certain kinds, but instead this woman tells me that for 4 days my two BIG dogs have been sharing this tiny bag of dog food and barely ate much! My dogs love to eat so I know they were starving for more because my biggest dog lost weight after being there for ONLY 4 days!!! This woman left my sisters dog (along with other dogs) alone for hours on end during the day! My sister came to pick up her dog, she had to come by 3 different times in one day cause this woman was never home! She finally told the woman she was sitting in her driveway and she needed to come let her take her dog home! Then my brother had been by 2 times a different day to pick up his dog and she wasn’t home then either! My sister had to come get our brothers dog because he can’t make the trip a 3rd time because the drive is so long for him. And another thing, my sister had got her dogs hair cut some where else before dropping her off at Pampered Pets, requested that she not give her dog a hair cut, but the woman did it anyway and also cut my sisters dog! This woman should not be running a business, especially not a business with animals! She’s lazy and does not care! If you want your pets to starve, be cramped in a small cage/pet carrier, and barely be fed or taken out, then go ahead and keep allowing your pets to suffer; but me and my family will not be taking our fur babies back to this place!!! Ever!
I absolutely love these people. They have taken care of all of my dogs for several years now and I am blown away everytime by their concern and passion for the dogs. They are all truly wonderful. If you want someone who will take care of your dog like you would, you should definitely try them!
I loved it the way thay took special of my precious1. I would recommend this place as the perfect place . To take your 4 footed love one. My precious1 has passed on .bit my next pet will be going to them.... I would like to thank you for your service to us The Long Family
Groomer is polite and helpful, cares about pets in general. Dogs and cats look great when they come out.
They are amazing people. They do an awesome job on my furbaby.
(5 stars only so it gets noticed) DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER IT IS MY HOUSE PHONE, NOT PAMPERED PETS. STOP calling this number.
Trust worthy and good with my Spoil Baby !
Good people
Our two doxies stayed here this past week as we were out of town. We called a few times to check in and every time the staff was super friendly and offered information on how each of our boys were doing. We really appreciated that and we could tell they cared very much for the animals in their care. We take a trip yearly in Aug that unfortunately doesn’t allow pets and this was our first year boarding at Legacy and it’s the first of many more to come. Thank yall for taking such good care of our boys! God bless y’all! :) -Walter & Giuseppe’s mom :)
Really nice staff but for DAY CARE, this is definitely not the place to go. I noticed that they hardly have any daycare pets at all and now I know why. We have used them 3 times and every time when we picked our pet up he had a stinch odor that is very hard to get rid of washing him several times. Last for days. The staff there says it was just a wet dog smell because he played in his water bowl. Nice try, but that would not make his feet black half way up his legs. Not just a one time thing neither, I have definitely learned my lesson. It seems they cater to long term care and for bigger pets where lot of owners do not care about odors. One time the lady had to bring out a towel and dry him off before we could take him. Ironically, he does not do such a thing here at home, he is strictly and inside pet. We are done with them!!
Wonderful place…they always find an opening when we need to. They love their guests and take great care of our pets each time.
We love boarding our dogs at Legacy! The staff is incredibly sweet and truly take great care of the dogs in their care. They acted quick and responsibly when our dog needed emergency vet assistance. We are so happy to have found a place we trust so much!
Our 3 dogs came back happy and the staff is great! The facility looks well maintained. Good prices and they helped us out last minute! We will be returning for sure!
1000% recommend. Staff and owners are so caring and nice. Chase (my fur baby)has been there several times over the last 2 years, and he loves it.
We boarded our two saint bernards, one being 130lbs and one at 190lbs, and a 13 year old cat here for 4 nights over the thanksgiving holiday. We are new to the area and were hesitant to board at a new facility as my dog has a lot of medications having lupus and my other pup is very timid and takes things slow. I am now home with all my babies and I am so happy and relieved everything went well and the staff went above and beyond with hand feeding my timid boy when he was nervous and following his lead with reading his body language. My pup smells so nice and clean from his bath and I am thankful my babies were all taken care of. Thank you all so much!
Legacy is amazing and I would 100% recommend them to any obsessive pet parent. My dramatic and finicky pup loves staying there and the staff is so sweet, patient and loving to her during her stays. They offer tons of services to make your life easier and pets stay the best it can be. I’ve tried both overnight kennel stays and my dog loved both. Friendly and accommodating service coupled with upfront pricing have resulted in really delightful experiences at Legacy for my past two stays. Highly recommend.
My pup stayed here for 9 days and then I added 4 more days. She was well taken care of and was happy and go lucky when I picked her up. She had a bath while there and smells great! The price was very good and was even able to afford playtime and her bath. Definitely will bring her back here, if I take another vacation. 👍👍 …
Our pets, Lola (Rabbit) and Tyson (Birch Poo) stayed a few days. They were really friendly and attentive. They allow them to have free play, snacks etc. I guess you can actually say it is home away from home for them. We will definitely use them again.
They love dogs! Good play area. Great staff. Grooming services are great! Pic of our daughter after grooming and having a play day.
Disappointed is an understatement. We are extremely disappointed with our latest experience with Diggs for Dogs! We have been using Diggs for Dogs for about a year now and had no issues until our latest trip. This was our second time boarding our Great Dane at Diggs for Dogs. Upon picking him up from an 8 day stay, we noticed that he was extremely thin. We asked about his appearance as the amount of weight loss was extremely concerning. The answers that we received were “He’s been exercising a lot because he’s been playing hard” and “He kept pushing his dog food out of his bowl”. Instead of creating a scene we decided to leave. It is important to note that we did not receive one phone call from staff throughout the entire stay. Regardless of what happened, the weight loss was noticeable and should have been addressed. This is incredibly concerning as the whole idea was for our Great Dane to receive care while we were away which I feel that he didn’t get. Sure, I believe he had playtime, but I don’t believe that he received his normal daily nutritional needs which is clear by the pictures. He appeared super dehydrated and hungry. We took our Great Dane to our local pet store and bought over $100 worth of food and treats. Upon returning home, our Great Dane ate as much as we would feed him as he acted like he hadn’t eaten. I took the entire following week off to ensure his full recovery. He was lethargic and appeared weak when he would walk or get up from our bed/couch. I also took our Great Dane to our local vet to get him weighed and checked out considering the weight loss concern. He lost a concerning amount of weight for the amount of time that we were gone. After a full week of recovery he started acting like himself luckily. We will not be using Diggs for Dogs again, even for daycare as we are extremely disappointed with our latest experience and really feel traumatized in regards to boarders. The amount of mental stress that this event caused is not worth it, so, respectfully, we will not be using their services in the future. We hope that they figure out the issue and determine a course of action to prevent this from happening to the next family.
Diggs is the most awesome place! My furbabies love it there! They're always excited and run around like crazy when we take them off their leashes & they get ready to go to their den! The staff is so friendly & you can tell they love all their babies!
Our dog, Piper, has been going to Digg’s for Dogs for daycare and boarding a little over 3 years now. He absolutely LOVES going for his weekly daycare visits, If we say the word “daycare” he sprints to the door ready to go. I can not say enough good things about how friendly, caring and professional their entire staff is. They have always treated Piper as if he was their own and accommodated us on multiple occasions with various requests. We highly recommend Digg’s for Dogs!
We have been going to Diggs for Dogs since 2014! We do boarding and daycare. We started with one dog in 2014 and our family is now 4 dogs deep that visit regularly...almost every month, or more The staff is awesome and the pups always have a great time and come home tired. We send all their food, medicines, beds and blankets and toys. We have special needs pups and they always get their meds. We are informed of any issues right away. I highly recommend Diggs. They clearly love the pups and quickly respond to any emails that I send to request boarding/daycare or pup-dates during their stays. They do not answer the phone when with the pups or when working with clients in the office and we really appreciate that! They have been an essential part of our live for the last 9 years and we still take them all the way to High Point, even though we moved away from the area. Our crew gets so exited when we get to the gravel driveway. I can't imagine taking them anywhere else. Also, the grooming is exceptional! We don't know what we would do without them!
These folks boarded our 3 dogs for the third or fourth time in the past year. The grooming service is exceptional. It's a little pricey for services but if you pamper your pets this place is home.
Our pup LOVES (like jump on the door to go in!) Diggs for Dogs! Their staff, led by their fearless leader Courtney (YOU ROCK!) spoils him rotten & knows their canine guests well. Courtney has built an incredible team of compassionate people who are extremely accommodating & shower these pups with love. ❤️ DFD has our highest recommendation for Doggie Day Care & Boarding Kennel needs, and has been our “go-to” for both planned & unexpected boarding needs.
Not only is Lauren fantastic with grooming, the staff is wonderful with our puppy, Miss Penny, during her day visits!!
I took my toy poodle puppy for his first visit to the groomer, and I could tell he was loved and we'll taken care of during his visit. And, he looked amazing!
I am changing my review below...our first experience (Dec 22) was very good. Boarded our Jack Russell over 7/4/23 and he came home very sick (he clearly didn't eat and we should have received a phone call, I left two messages that went unanswered) and has all the symptoms of untreated heat stroke. After a $500 vet bill, I'm still not sure he's going to survive. Amazing experience! After searching and using several other boarding places, we have finally found the best!! Our dogs seemed to love it there...I don't think they wanted to leave. Highly recommend!
It was difficult to find a place that felt comfortable for my rescue dog when I visited Winston Salem. Amber was very welcoming to Daisy and me. She understands rescue dogs. Daisy had a positive experience, I think. She came home with improved socialization skills with other dogs. I really appreciate that. Thanks for what you did for Daisy. I'll use Winston Salem Dog Care again for Daisy when we visit.
What a God send to me! Winston- Salem dog care treats my Great Dane (Zen) like family. As a traveler ( contract medical worker) I work long hours and need my boy to get out. I’ve had to use Rover and Wag in the past and sometimes it was good other times NOT. I never worry about my boy now because Marie and her staff take such excellent care of him. I highly recommend them.
Have to share how wonderful Winston-Salem Dog (and cat) Care is! Have 1 pup and 2 cats, all inside babies. The pup came from a hoarding situation, doesn't like other dogs, and won't go #2 outside, so boarding is a challenge. Home visits are the solution! I had them come twice a day for my pup, and he couldn't have been happier! The picture attached shows exactly how much he loved all the attention he got. The cats are shy, but they even came out for the sitters, which is quite the endorsement. My house was in better shape than when I left, everyone was happy, well fed and unstressed. I've already rebooked them!
I discovered WSDC from my vet. We were recommended and made an appointment to meet Justin and so glad we did. My Kacee loves going to Daycare and Amber has become Kacee's daycare Mom. Kacee isn't used to being alone for long periods of time and his breed becomes very stressed if this happens. WSDC has been a godsend. Kacee gets so excited on his visits. I love the fact that Amber and all the moms there take such good care of my boy. Amber thank you for being so amazing I love that we get picture updates on his visits as this helps Mom to stay calm
I have used WS Dog Care personally for my own dog, in which every single person that came to my house to take care of Maverick was SO incredibly kind and sent me photos and updates. As a property manager, I have also turned to WS Dog Care for resident emergencies and they have been even MORE fantastic. I cannot thank Marie and team enough for always helping during these situations. You guys are incredible, and I'm so grateful for the partnership!
My eldest dog just turned 12. I’ve never been fortunate to have a work from home job so I’ve utilized many dog daycares & boarding. Winston Salem Dog care is so far above and beyond the best we’ve ever been to. And even that doesn’t do Justin & Marie and their team justice! They are the second family my, and all dogs, need and set the bar for dog care! On site is serene and a perfect environment! We additionally utilize the in home pet visits for our cat. They collect the mail or a random Sam’s club package that I profusely apologize for not being able to pin point the delivery to the days we’re home for without hesitation or worry! We are truckers that travel weekly and our return day isn’t always easily scheduled on our end. Weather or road work can collapse return times by hours or days. The team is responsive, flexible and always happy to assist! If I attempted to highlight all the ways WSDC has been flexible, patient, accommodating and understanding without ever a misstep in service I’d run google reviews out of storage space. I cannot explain just how immense the internal peace is of knowing your dogs are having the time of their lives with a plethora of other dogs and being loved on and taken care of while you can’t be there!
I normally do not leave reviews, unless someone has done something exceptional. WS Dog Care is an incredible team. In an emergency they helped me to take care of another’s dog- when every other boarding location and kennel was booked through the new year. Though my friend passed, they were supportive of me and what I needed the entire process. Can’t say enough how great a business this place is. If you give them your business, you will not be disappointed! Thank you again, WS Dog Care. Marie and Elizabeth were very helpful and accommodating.
Amazing dog care all around. I travel for work, and use them for both house visits, and boarding, and Marie, Justin and their staff have been beyond amazing. They have accommodated my crazy schedule on short notice, take the time to know and understand my dog’s personalities and needs. I get pictures and updates about visits consistently, my pups love it. They truly care about your pups and treat them as one of their own. Truly, 5 stars isn’t even close to what they truly deserve!
I had a family emergency a couple months ago and had to leave town indefinitely. I reached out to Justin the night before and asked to board my three fur babies. Justin took them in not knowing when I will be back. Cain, Abel and Lilith were well cared for and loved on. The staff's genuine love for dogs is evident, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The facilities are clean, and the daily updates they provide give me peace of mind. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking top-notch care for their beloved pets!
The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable. They also treat your baby like their own. I tend to have anxiety with leaving my precious cargo with others, but Amber ensured that I was at ease and all my questions and concerns were addressed. They offer an abundance of services and each one is thoughtful and Top Notch. If you are looking for a place for your four legged Family Member - Winston Salem Dog Care is the place for you.
Larry is an awesome pet sitter and equally awesome person. He is friendly, caring, reliable, responsible, and has very reasonable rates. He has always worked with my schedule to offer the very best service and care available for my two furbabies. I never worry when I'm out of town and Larry is pet sitting. I know they are in good hands. Otis (the Beagle) and Abbie (the Lab) have also told me that they absolutely love for Larry to take care of them. I highly recommend Larry and Canine Kisses for your pet sitter needs!
I have known Larry for about 7 years. He cared for my friends/neighbors dogs and cats which is how I grew to know him. Larry now walks and cares for my Golden Retriever on the days I have to work. Larry is trustworthy, professional, punctual, and dependable. He is very attentive and knowledgeable about your pets needs. He truly cares about your pet and is gentle and loving. I highly recommend Larry and so thankful to have someone who I trust and cares for my dog just as I do!
Deets and Ellie (our canine children) and I met Larry the first week after relocating to Winston Salem. After meeting him we began working with him immediately. Larry cared for our dogs for over 2 years - walking them daily and staying with them when we traveled. We recently had to leave the area, and honestly one of the most difficult things was leaving Larry. Our dogs adored him, especially our GSP (Larry is the only human he gave kisses to). Larry is professional, dependable and so very good with pets. If you need to pet care, I would recommend Larry and Canine Kisses.
Larry is a great pet sitter! When i need to leave town, I know that I can trust Larry to take care of Chester and WInny! I never have to worry because Larry is extremely conscientious and accommodating to the needs of my pets! On occasion Larry will send me a picture of what my kitties are doing while he's visiting and although it be seem like a small gesture to him, it gives me a great comfort while i must be away from my babies!
Larry with Canine Kisses has been a pleasure to work with. He has been very punctual and demonstrated great knowledge about the needs of dogs and cats. I am also impressed that Canine Kisses is licensed and insured. I think that is very important. You just never know what could happen. I will say that using a pet sitter is much less stressful than sending your baby off to a boarding kennel.
Larry is a first-rate professional with genuine concern for my pets. Because he is an exceptionally conscientious pet caretaker, he has developed an excellent reputation among pet owners in my neighborhood. I can highly recommend him.
Larry Wenning has taken excellent care of our pets for several years. Very professional, follows instructions to the letter, kind and caring. He sends me daily texts to let me know everything is fine at home. Domino and Dolly love him!
CK is a great business! My scaredy cat Sophie loves them--and she won't go to anyone else. Very professional, thanks to the detail-oriented owner. So glad to have no worries when I have to travel.
Larry provides very caring and personalized service and it is obvious that our animals are well treated. We would never consider using any other provider.
Used to be good, hard to get a hold of now, doesn't call when they say. And actually cancelled on us. Hope all is well, but would look elsewhere.
My girlfriend and I have boarded our dog here multiple times and they’ve always been great. But when we went to pick him up this time, I had an experience that left a sour taste in my mouth. When the lady came out with our dog she said very bluntly and quite rudely in my opinion , “you’re gonna have to put the harness on him he won’t sit still.” While I’m sure it can be quite stressful dealing with dogs all day. It came off quite rude and frankly, this is the job you signed up for and sometimes you’ll just have to deal with excited dogs. Maybe I’m overreacting, I just did not appreciate that interaction. I still appreciate them and I’m sure we will bring our dog back. I just wanted this information to be known.
We have boarded our pets here off and on for several years and I have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the pleasant staff. Last night they were even more a blessing! We recently got a new puppy, Waylon, and shortly before closing yesterday I found myself in a bind and needing care for him this very week. Now of course I knew it would depend on whether or not they were full or not but the staff member I spoke to seemed to understand my panic and helped me arrange his stay over the phone. My emergency worked itself out better through the night so he won't actually have to go but their willingness to help at the last minute helped in a stressful situation more than they likely know. Thank you so much and believe me Waylon will be in for a stay as will his sister Hollie who has been a client of the facility for years.
We love Carolina Pet Place! They take great care of our dog Izzy! Compare to others she attended, hands down the best! She really looks forward to her stay. The staff is always polite and knowledgeable about the care of the animals. "Feisty Izzy" is her nickname at Carolina Pet Place....perfect description of the personality. Highly recommend.
This is the best place to bring your dogs. They really doing an awesome job on bathing and grooming. And my dogs are always happy to go there!!
Thank you for making me feel comfortable about leaving my pets in your care, it really amazed me to see how neither one of my dog rejected walking away from me, they actually walked freely with the staff member, I was shocked 😲 thank you.😊 …
I am reviewing again because I keep trying to delete my old, negative review and it still keeps showing anyway. I have changed my mind completely about this place! Just to let people know, if you want them to put caps on your kitty’s claws, they will do that, but you need to call first and let them know, and the price is doubled. I was unaware of this until they replied to my other review. CPP trims my cat’s claws VERY quickly, and the price is quite affordable ($20). I would have given them 5 stars if their staff were a little friendlier (with the exception of one sweet young lady who always seems to be happy to see her customers) and if the guy at the counter had helped me with the door I was struggling a bit to open (I’m 7 months pregnant, with health problems, carrying a purse and water bottle in one hand and a 12-lb. cat in the other). The store was completely empty. 🤷♀️ But it’s really not a that big a deal. So that’s my opinion: - GREAT speed and value! - customer service could use some improvement I will continue to come here for all of my cat’s trimming needs, and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks, CPP!
These folks are great. They genuinely love taking care of dogs and you can tell that your pet looks forward to the next visit. The groomer is excellent also. Your kid/s will be well looked after.
Been over here several times with both of my dogs. They’ve raised their prices twice with no notification. They have drop off before 10am without making an appointment but 3 times they’ve turned me away in the morning because they’ve been too “busy”. For $45 dollars per dog for a normal bath, they don’t really take good enough care of their clients.. The guy working the front always seems to be in a bad mood and rude. I recommend finding another place where the staff will make you feel welcomed and appreciate your business.
First time boarding our dog . Wonderful experience. We will be back soon .
On 12/28/23, I had a very brief and disappointing phone conversation. Upon answering the phone, whomever I spoke to identified the place as "Carolina Pet Place." After saying, "hi", I proceeded to explain my situation: my plans for a dog sitter for next weekend (Jan 5th-7th) had fallen through, and I was now inquiring about boarding my two dogs. I specifically asked whether they were currently accepting new clients, as I had not boarded with them before and if they had any availability for the weekend. The response I received was delivered in a notably annoyed tone. The person stated, "I mean... you can be a client, but we can't board them on the weekend...we're full." In light of this curt response, I thanked them for the information, to which I received a brief and indifferent "Yep." before we both hung up. This experience left me disappointed, especially after researching various boarding options. The website for Carolina Pet Place had given the impression of a warm and friendly environment, which sharply contrasted with the demeanor of the person I spoke to. My inquiry was straightforward—I was simply seeking information about boarding my pets -- from a pet boarding facility. While I acknowledge that providing eight days' notice may be considered short, I am uncertain if the person I spoke to fully even grasped the specific days I was inquiring about. After I hung up, I suspected that they thought I was asking about this weekend since they never actually asked for dates. While this review doesn't reflect on how well Carolina Pet Place cares for animal, it does point out a problem with how they handle potential customers, especially for something as routine as boarding pets. Had the customer service been better, I would have potentially boarded my pets in the future at this facility, even if they were full the weekend I was inquiring about, but now I will not consider it and not recommend it to others.
