Jo-Ann is amazing with our two boys! She is reliable, flexible, affordable, easy to work with, and just all around great! Our boys are pretty picky with who they like and they loved Jo-Ann from the very first meet & greet (which she does for free!) We get a detailed report (with pictures!) at the end of every visit. Knowing that Jo-Ann will be stopping by to let the boys out and spend some time with them while we are gone brings us such peace of mind. 10/10!

We boarded our dog Blaze here for 3 night and it was great. We got a free night for it being his first time and I signed up to get “report cards” for 2 of the days. Unfortunately I didn’t receive one of them but they do have live cameras in the play areas which is so helpful especially when my toddler wanted to see her doggy lol . I would definitely recommend pet paradise and blaze will definitely be back !

The drop off process for boarding our kids was smooth and thorough. Bring their food and meds for proper one on one care. The rates are reasonable. Make sure you have all their up to date shot records ready or be smart and log into their site and upload pictures, pet information of likes, personality, and medical information. Get them bathed on their last day so they come home smelling great. We boarded our three for three nights due to a complex move between homes. We hate leaving our kids but it took a lot of stress out of the planning. This was our first try at boarding and likely our last but the experience was good.

Horrible experience! Dropped off my dog for 5 days of boarding. On night one, they call from a private number saying my dog was in an altercation from another dog going after him. I couldn’t reach anyone to hear what happened. Finally, I called the following morning and heard what happened. Luckily my dog was okay. Fast forward to picking him up, I watched over 25 dogs run around outside rough housing with only one staff member “watching.” When they handed me back my dog’s belongings, I noticed they did not feed him his proper amount of food I pre-bagged. If your dog eats more than “3 cups” then you’re just out of luck. I hate being a person who leaves a bad review but I wish I knew what a mess I would be dropping my dog off to!! Go to a different location!

The staff was fantastic with my dogs and I loved seeing them out at the pool even though they can’t be with other dogs. My boy can be a bit wary of new people and usually stays with my girl for comfort. She loves the pool and it was great to see her splash around and see their play timer encourage him to get in the water too!

My girls whom are GREAT DANES SEEMED RELAXED AND HAPPY WHEN I PICKED THEM UP AND GOT THEM HOME. This is why i always choose Pet Paradise the staff is very professional and friendly and i can feel the positive Ora.

Tough to get a live person on the phone. I don't like their Ai voice assistant on the phone. Please let me speak with a human easier. WIith that said, they always take great care of my dogs. Staff is always nice and helpful.

I took my dogs there and explained that one has separation anxiety and they can’t be separated. (He’ll sing the opera if they’re separated). I drop them off and tell the girl to tell my dog “no” if he nudges for pets. She tells me “no he’s just a baby”. Mind you my dog is 6 y/o. I’m at the airport and my dogs are separated outside without any prior notice, and now I have to pay an extra $10/day to have my dogs play privately with each other.

I have boarded my dog here 3 times so far in 2024. I've been very impressed how attentive & informative the staff has been through each stay this far. Her current stay has been for 10 days & I only checked on her once mid stay because I am comfortable & confident with the staff. My current concern is that I have called several times during open hours to check on my dog before my return flight and I keep ending up on hold with no answer or have had to leave a message with the reservation center with no return call. This concerns me since the week prior to this stay, I left a message for a return call with some questions and I never got a return call then either. This was not my experience her other 2 stays, but seems to be becoming a recent issue. I'm hoping it doesn't continue as I have 3 more reservations for 2024 booked already. Hoping I get an update today as they are only open 30 more minutes. The prices are a little higher, than I'm used to, but if service and care are good, I'm ok with it. I don't think they should increase the daily price for holiday stay due to the current daily prices. Still waiting on the return call.

We toured this place to possibly daycare and board our two dogs, upon entering they greeted us and were very attentive to our needs and questions, they showed us around, seemed very clean, plenty of friendly staff all around! They gave us a free day to try and our two dogs loved it, the staff called us with updates and even gave us a doggie progress report on how they did to take home! We decided to book a boarding stay at the end of April, so I will review that later in the month! Overall pricing is a little more than other places but seems totally worth it for happy staff and happy animals!

I love Pet Paradise in Oakleaf. They always take good care of our dog. We’ve had two full grooms of our hyperactive golden doodle and we have been very pleased both times.

If I could give more stars than 5 I would. Denise and Christine took care of our large and diverse pet family for a week after our pet sitter of many years recently moved away. The idea of having to have someone new come over was worrying because we have a lot going on and it’s not an easy task. Denise and Christine are AMAZING. They took time and patience to gain the trust of our very old and grumpy chihuahua who gave them hell the first few visits along with juggling multiple other cats, dogs and a indoor/outdoor pot belly pig. I got thorough reviews after every visit along with cute pictures and updates on each individual pet, they kept the house tidy and even took out the trash can to the road on recycling day. My old dog required medicine 3 times a day which made me really anxious but they even sent pics of him eating it so I could rest assured he was getting what he needed. They loved every single one like their own and I couldn’t be more thankful and impressed. We have definitely found our new pet sitters and now have no reservations about going away knowing our children will be loved and cared for while we are gone. Thank you so much Denise and Christine along with Bad to the Bone - you are top notch with the service you provide and I highly highly recommend.

I hired bad to the bone twice to care for my mini horse Fitzgerald. They always do a great job and follow directions. Bonus part is you can see the visit and where they walked which I love since exercise is critical to my horses wellbeing.

Doug was the best ever! he is so compassionate with the dogs and so calm with their owners. he kept us updated and sent pictures and solved problems on excellently. Can’t say enough good things! thank you Doug for driving my pups across the country.

Bad To The Bone is AMAZING! We love our little Olive so much and to trust a company to love her the same way can be a concern. But no concern here with Bad to the Bone! Bad to the Bone was recommended by another pet sitter and I'm glad they were. Caitlin, Mandi, and Melanie did awesome job taking care of our chickens while we were gone for vacation. Getting messages with photos of our girls and the completed care activities, which really brought a peace of mind while we were gone. I highly recommend them for your pet care needs, even chickens! I have been using Amber at Bad to the Bone pet care for the past five years to watch my four cats!! She does a fantastic job each and every time, going above and beyond to make sure our kitties are well taken care of while we are gone and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting services!!

Best pet-sitting service ever! They have so many options - every need can be met. We hire for the half-hour once a day. Amber is our local pet-sitter, and she is the best! Full reports every day that are a delight to receive. Don't hesitate to hire them.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful and totally professional care given to my pups by Christine for an overnight stay while we were out of town. My dogs loved Christine and she loved her time with them as well. Three little terriers can be quite a handful at times but Christine managed the house and them with ease. At the same time she managed to keep in touch with us about the dogs and send us amazingly adorable pictures throughout the stay. It’s comforting to know your babies are receiving such good care and we will use Bad to the Bone again soon.

Have used BTTB and Doug Keeling since we first arrived to Jacksonville in 2016. They’ve been there and have helped us and loved our pets like we do - through sickness, health and death! They’ve always “been there” for us, and for each of them, through thick and thin. They’ve called us in the middle of our vacations to let us know that we had a very sick kitty and Doug personally has sat for hours at the vet with our kitty to make sure he got the best care. Doug and the caregivers each followed up for several days after we got home to follow up on Loki‘s and then Moki‘s health And treatment progress. They’ve taken Salem for her beauty come outs and trim treatment and taken her, Rocker & Sampson for nail trims (that’s quite a price cess with our three dogs). Will continue with BTTB until all pets have passed on. Give them a try - you and your pets - will appreciate it.

I don’t typically leave reviews but Ella and the team at Bad to the Bone are truly the best! After using them once, we immediately booked them for our next trip away. Ella treated our pups like her own!

We had an amazing experience at River City K9! We did the one week stay and train for our dog Luca. Jenna and her team were incredible! They worked miracles with our hyper dog! Luca was a leash puller who ran towards other dogs and distractions. He was not one who could focus and jumped on everyone in excitement. He can now walk on a leash without pulling, despite various distractions and stimuli. He will sit, stay, and wait on command. He is so focused when he is being asked to be! It is incredible! We will take advantage of the follow up opportunity and HIGHLY recommend River City K9!

My family went on vacation and this was the first time we have ever left our dogs EVER since we have gotten them and we were so worried honestly, but River City K9 was so great! They are very understanding and helpful. They will answer every and any questions you have. They will take you on a tour of the entire place. They send you Photos and updates or your furbabies. Very inexpensive. I couldn’t recommend them enough. They will definitely be used more in the future by my family.

My dogs love River City. They always come home tired, played out, and ready for dinner and bedtime! The staff is great, and the facility is clean.

Do not send your baby here!! Sending my dog to River City K-9 was the worst decision I have ever made. Major attitude problem amongst the workers. Vet bills due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. She left this place traumatized especially after training. She was shaking uncontrollably and no longer was playing with her toys. Made statements that my dog was aggressive which made us worry we would have to put my baby down. I have had her behavior evaluated by two other facilities since this place and they highly disagree with their evaluation. I have my dog going to a new facility and her happy personality has finally come back.

River City K9 is the best place I've found for my lab to stay. The staff are extremely professional, have years of experience, and genuinely care about the welfare of the animals there. They do training, grooming, and daycare in addition to boarding. The facility is beautiful and we love their bath system. My dog loves getting washed there. I also like how this place has individual runs for each kennel, which allows the ability to get exercise and enjoy the outdoors of the weather is nice. We are treated like family there, which makes me feel easy about leaving my dog there and don't worry while I'm away. They even send report cards letting you now how your fur baby is doing, which I love. I trust the owner, Don, and his staff implicitly. I highly recommend this "hotel" away from home!

Have had our 2 Belgian Malinois at River City for 5 and 4 years. The staff and owner Don has been nothing short of incredible.

For over a few years now we've been sending our 2 Greybies to River City K9 whenever we go out of town. The owner Don and his staff take excellent care of our girls, send photos, and call if there's any issues with either of them. They've accommodated earlier drop-offs & later pick-ups so our girls don't have to stay away longer than necessary. Very good about following any Rx schedule they may be on & feed them per the dietary instructions we leave. Honesty prefer having them go to Don's camp vs my adult kids watching them - at least with RC-K9 I know both will be taken care of "properly". Have recommended RC-K9 to several of our friends; ALL feel the same about the excellent care their fur-babies receive while there!

Marcy is our 9 month old Border Terrier. Matt and Kaly worked with her for a week training sit, down, stay, come, heel, and place. The results really are amazing. I can’t say enough about Don and his team at River City K9, great facility and great people. We’re looking forward to the next step of her training in a couple of months. Thank you RCK9!!

Service is the best, people are the best and my Sally loves everything about pet paradise. Only 2 locations so far that we are impressed with and Fleming island is one of them.

I loved this place for several years. Laura was THE BEST groomer and my dog loved her but she left and I have tried desperately to get rebooked with another groomer here. Also in the past, if I ever had even the slightest issue, Scott (now the former manager) took great care of it and went above & beyond. Now is a totally different situation. Rude & unprofessional is an understatement and after reading some of the more recent reviews, it seems that I am not the only one that feels that way. I am not one to usually leave a bad review but I hope that someone sees this and it saves them some time and money. Also, maybe someone higher up (corporate office maybe) will see this and help get things back to an excellent customer service basis.

Like always my princesses 👑 Elsa at Pet Paradise in Middleburg. She got all prettied up by her favorite groomer, Denean( hope I spelled it correctly) She gets loves ❤️ and cared for while she groomed. These are before and after pics. You can see it Elsa’s smile 😊 that she’s HAPPY! Plus all the associates there are so friendly and they love their work with all the 🐩 🐕 and cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐈💕I strongly recommend that everyone should take their pets to Pet Paradise and see why they are the best. Took my dogs for Labor Day weekend 2024 (4.5 days). Gave the young lady specific food instructions and requested a bath for both dogs. When picking up the dogs, it was discovered baths were not completed (part of the package), dogs were not fed at all on Thursday and only partially fed the remaining 3.5 days. VIP in/outdoor doors were shut majority of the time so that was a waste of money and no report card was completed. I’ve used them before and never experienced this. My pug has acted ill since picking him up yesterday and won’t allow me out of his site. I am very disappointed in the treatment my dogs received and would not recommend them at this point. Too many issues going on clearly! Of course they called once I completed the survey and tried to make excuses and that’s when I found out the dogs were not even fed on Thursday. I get the story “we’re sorry that happened and we will do better next time”! Yeah nope, I’m not trusting them with my dog!

We love Pet Paradise and everyone that works there. We take our dogs to day care and we have boarded them. Our dogs love it as well. As soon as I say day care they run to our front door.

I was skeptical because my dog has never been to a pet facility because he was a shelter dog. I was worried because he’s not around a lot of dogs. The cutest day he was kinda to himself but they said he he was good with other dogs but more people person. The next day he went back and was much better. He aclimates quite well and so happy. We had a roof installed so needed a place for him to be. I guess this got me to try it out. The staff was all so amazing, friendly and made me feel at ease. They were all so personable and best ever!!!!!! Will take my dog back again. Btw, I was able to see my dog on camera. Thanks to Grace, Trevor, Massey and Sarah! You all were absolutely amazing 🤩☺️

Friendly, considerate staff. My cat seemed well and adjusted easily when we returned home. Clean facility. Dogs playing together seemed to be having fun!

When they first opened it was great. Now the past 4 months or so have been horrible. The groomer called out today and they didn’t tell us until I was waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time. Then the employee tells me “well it isn’t my problem”. That was a shock to me and the customer service is declining rapidly. I can’t imagine how they are treating the pets if that’s the reaction to their employee calling out. Think twice before you send your precious pets to this place.

All of the other locations were booked up, so was able to find a spot on the way out of town (headed to the gulf). Short stay, but got him a bath too, so he he came home clean and smelling good!

Today Alley got to meet the Fam! She came home super happy and I loved get to check the cameras and see her outside with her new friends. The Staff there were super welcoming and were truly amazing!

I couldn’t be more thankful for Meg’s amazing care of my dog while I was away! She was always punctual and made sure to keep me updated with videos and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear how much my dog adores her, and that says everything about the love and attention she gives. Highly recommend Meg to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter! Kylo mom.

Meg is amazing!! We have an elderly dog who still wants to be a puppy, and she was so sweet with him and knew exactly what he needed. She sent pics and updates, which was so appreciated because we worry about him!

Meg’s been a saving grace for my senior kitty Midnight. My cat is 15 and doesn't do well in the car or in new places so boarding her is not an option. Meg has been great with her while I've been away. She loved having someone keep her fed, fresh water and clean litter box bonus loves the attention while we are away. Thanks so much!! June is amazing with animals and has a heart of gold. She truly cares for every animal she takes in. I would trust her far before a pet boarding center as she will give one on one attention to your pet making sure it has everything it needs. No cold scary boarding cell. Super place, such happy and enthusiastic workers who love dogs. It was a change of boarding kennels for me due to lack of space at my normal one and my dog is so happy to have been here. I took another almost week long trip and my dog was so happy to be back. They seemed to have taken great care of her and I would highly recommend this place to any and all. My dog loves the water and got to play daily daily in their pool. They do take them out and let the dogs run around which my dog needs on a daily basis.

Done Doggy day care and a night and the Owner/Staff are so loving to our Blk Gsd Germand Sheppard. He is not fixed and this place accepted him and now we can travel and know he will be at a place like home. I highly recommend friendly, Clean and alot of space for your fur baby.

My doggo and I love Happy Dog Inn. The staff is friendly and seem to really care for their 4 legged residents. The facilities are always clean and my doggo is always happy when we pick her up. Thanks for always taking care of our Sadie while we're out of town.

Went here with my sister. She brings her Yorkie here. I was very impressed. They were just awesome with the animals. Funny little sayings on the walls very nice and clean.

Despite coconuts separation anxiety, we felt safe leaving her at the care of the staff at happy dog inn. ❤️

I recently moved to Green Cove Springs and with 3 dogs, needed a kennel for boarding. Leaving your fur babies anywhere is stressful. I am delighted to report that the Happy Dog Inn not only met but exceeded my expectations! The staff is caring and loving of the animals placed in their care. The price was reasonable and fair. We were happy to get home but happier to see that the dogs were well cared for.

Our dogs love this place! Everyone is so friendly.

I’m going to give a one star for this park. We went there the other day because Jacksonville doesn’t seem to have a good dog park and we went to see this one only to find out that my dog is not even welcomed in that park. According to their many rules your dog has to be fixed. Otherwise the dog is not allowed in the park. Your dog also needs to get six or seven shots before he or she can be in the park mingling with other dogs which I’m super not ok with. When we were there there were small dogs and big dogs in the same fenced in area without leashes and I’m not comfortable with that but that’s preference of the owner if they are not scared of something happening to their small dogs by the big dogs. We saw about five I think fenced in areas there. The very first one has a small lake inside of it where dogs can jump in and cool off. Again that’s a preference if you like your dog coming home with you super dirty in your car. I was thinking that even if we were accepted into this Park I would not feel comfortable letting my dog loose and go without a leash because he’s very tiny and easily can fall into that lake or get under other big dogs and I’m not comfortable with that. So no, this park isn’t for us and it’s also far.

This is a great place to exercise your dog and even do a little training. Large running area in the back with a little nature walk leading from the front to the back. Tennis balls everywhere with the launchers. And of course the water area being a favorite when it's hot out! 90% of the dogs are good but I have had to ask someone to get their dog away from mine as it was being too aggressive.

We love this dog park! Not only does it have a lake but there is a wide open field with trails leading to it. It’s my dogs happy place!

My dogs had a great time at this park. The staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful. The lobby is clean and beautiful. I love that there is a dog washing station and it’s elevated with steps for the dogs so we didn’t have to bend over to wash them, I really appreciate that. The pond is so awesome. Such a nice place!

I could not thank poochies enough for the love they give to my benny! Everytime he comes to daycare he goes in tail wagging and comes home even happier but worn out! Not only does my dog get the exercise and socialization he needs but the people doing it are the most kind hearted individuals. I’d recommend poochies park, daycare, their on site vet to anyone and everyone with dogs. I am so grateful for this place❤️

My dog Coco loves this place and I trust them 109%. They give the best care to the animals. I never worry about her while she is there. The staff is amazing. And you can tell that the staff loves the pets. The lake area and play area is huge. They have boarding which I have used multiple times or you can bring your dog to play for a couple hours. They also do training there. I would never go anywhere else. The owners are super sweet people too. If you love your pet take them to Poochies.

Poochie’s is our favorite place to take our dog! The staff are always helpful and the place is usually pretty clean. Our dog LOVES the pond to swim in and we really enjoy the fenced in trail and field in the back. Toys, trash bags, trash cans, and water are always available for your dogs. It’s very affordable and worth the money! We boarded our dog there for a week once and it seemed to go great. My favorite is the holiday decor and thoughtfulness of events and activities that they provide regularly. We love Poochie’s!

While visiting we booked a month at Pooches park and our pups were so happy we did. They enjoyed playing with their friends and swimming daily. Pooches did a great job of keeping the park clean and safe for everyone.

Great Park! Our favorite dog park was shut down, Dogwood, for real estate reasons. Well I'm glad to say we have a new favourite. Poochie is awesome! Well at least the dog park is. We haven't tried the other facilities. People are real nice it has all the things a dog and the owner would want! We don't live in Orange Park, but it's worth the drive.

Usually have a wonderful time here. Most of the staff are so amazing and helpful! Today I went in around 11:30 and the girl at the front (not the blonde girl) was extremely rude. Not helpful at all. What a shame because I love to bring my dog here. Talked with one of the managers. She was very helpful and made me feel a lot better and respected! Glad everything was fixed because my Roxy girl loves it here

When we got our guy here he was scared of EVERYTHING to include his own bark! He has done so wonderfully with the training he’s gotten. I can’t say absolutely wonderful these ladies are 🥰🥰🥰 if you are looking for people who really care you’ve found the right place. …

My dog got back home all beat up and I am not satisfied with the excuse that was given. They said it just happened before we picked him up and it was because he brushed his nose against the kennel. My dog is a peaceful dog and is not aggressive at all. He was only in their care for a week. I am not happy at all and he will not be going back.

We loved the Customer Service we received. Everyone was very sweet and accommodating. Boudreaux our Boston Terrier was all smiles When we picked him up. We will definitely use them for our boarding needs again

Absolutely love this place. The ladies are very nice. Before I signed up for training we had a consultation were they met Milo. We discussed any issues and what goals I had. They set me up with the best trainer. Alison goes above and beyond. She explains what she wants and why your doing it. We have been training with her for 3 months and my dog has made huge progress in a very short time. Alison knows not ever dog is the same and she sees when something in training needs to be adjusted based off your dog. Working with Alison has made me a more confident dog owner and has shown me what Milo is capable of doing. She has made this experience so much better than what I ever expected.

We attended the Halloween glow walk. It was an enjoyable event. Friendly folks, lots of dogs to meet and treat.

I absolutely love this place. Whether you want to board your pup for a few days, schedule training, or even foster/adopt a pup, there is no better place than here. They continue to help and check in during foster, and after adoption. They treat us like family, because we earned each other as family. These are the babies we've adopted in the attached photo. First car ride together on the first full day together, and they get along beautifully. Thank you Homemade Hounds! We'll be keeping in touch and coming back to visit!

This place is the best place for pet boarding in the area. I use their services very frequently and i can say that the staff is super friendly, very professional. You can see and feel that they really love animals. I got a good impression the first time and continued using their services is an A+++.

My dog loves them Alison and Taz, on short notice, boarded my elderly dog on a long term basis. At the time, I didn't know how long my dog needed boarding. Alison was super helpful and flexible. My dog doesn't like dogs he doesn't know. Alison & Taz are also dog trainers, so not a problem. Several times I visited my dog during boarding & I've never seen my dog so happy while boarded. BONUS & overshare: my dog has sporadic gastro issues. Alison advised me to stop sharing my french fries and tortilla chips with Rascal. No more gastro issues. Kinda duh but Alison pointed it out. First time cat owner here. My husband and I hired Mayra for a few drop ins while we were on a 10 day vacation. During our meet & greet, she spent about an hour at our home getting to know us and our 8 month old kitten, MoonKnight while answering all our questions. This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and being away from MoonKnight for more than 4 days. Mayra's knowledge and experience with caring for cats as she has her own reassured us of our decision to hire her. She even accommodated a last minute emergency drop in request when I noticed on our camera footage that MoonKnight accidentally closed his kennel door while playing near it. This wouldn't be such a big deal if his litter pan wasn't located inside his kennel. I was at the airport and feeling stressed! I immediately texted Mayra around 7:30 am on a weekday explaining the situation and asked if she could drop in the same day. Thankfully, she responded soon after and accommodated my last minute request. I felt so grateful and relieved. I really appreciated that she didn't give us a hard time as I felt bad for blowing up her phone with texts so early in the morning. I felt at peace leaving for vacation knowing that we could trust Mayra to handle everything. Mayra always arrived early or on time for her drop ins and she would send us photos of MoonKnight while we were away. He was showing her his belly (a sign of trust) by the last drop in :) She's a caring, professional, and experienced cat sitter. We highly recommend her and would hire her again.

I was very impressed with Amanda she treated my cocker spaniel Augie with lots of TLC and made him feel right at home with her dog Charlie. You can tell how much she cares and loves what she’s doing. I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Have been nothing but impressed with Mayra and Pawsitive Pet Services. They stay with our two elderly whippets and I can tell they deeply care for my animals, even though they are senior dogs with extra issues. Mayra has been the best from day one! She came into our life when my baby was just a puppy and has been such a great help along the way! I typically have her pet sit 3-4 times a month and I know my Ren is in good hands. Plus I always get cute pictures when I’m away to make it better.
