The best place to board your animals ! Super friendly staff and the animals are very well cared for. My baby is always happy to go to daycare!

Even 10 ⭐️ aren’t enough ⭐️ to express how much I love this place! Doggie daycare has been priceless for someone who works long hours and has a highly energetic husky mix with just a few special personality “quirks!” The staff, the facilities and the service is unmatched and so needed for those of us who love our pets but maybe can’t spend as much time with our pets as we’d like (guilty)! Need more proof? A picture speaks 1000 words!!

Decent customer service. But over the years, they have changed! Prices have gone up, services per cost are less, and the last time my dogs stayed there was bad! She had new sores on her front elbows, and the fur on her rear legs were soaked with urine! A friend that works with Veterinary Hospitals told me to report them to the State. But, I gave the Facility compassion.

My dog loves her time at Bay Breeze. She is always happy to leave me and go play with the staff and she is always excited to see me when I pick her up. The staff are attentive to her needs and she gets to play with other dogs when staff agree it is a suitable match. The staff go out of their way to take care of my precious dog, even picking up her specialized food from the veterinarian across the river. I could not ask for a better home-away-from-home for my beloved pet. I can miss her, but rest easy knowing she is in very capable and happy care.

We were visiting from out of town in September and needed last minute boarding and they were fantastic. I appreciate you taking great care of my boy Moose!

I unfortunately feel as though the quality of boarding care has declined while the prices have gone up. A year ago, play time and time with a staff member was included for each day during the pet's stay, but now, if you want your pet to get the opportunity for play time, it costs an extra 10 dollars each day, and it is also an additional cost for the pet to be visited by a staff member each day. This is quite concerning to me. It makes me fear that the pets' experiences are not as good anymore, which is disappointing.

We found them when we were being turned down because our pup is GSD! No problem for them. It clean, great staff for dogs and owners. Can’t say enough! The last time we used them we were stuck in traffic and they were willing to wait for us past closing!!!Suoer undertanding and helpful!!!!

We went here with our last pack and even our ferrets! The new generation is here, so we’ll be back. So clean and friendly.

I had to bring my fur son Jasper to them because I'm trying to find a place for him and I.. And I would never take my fur son to any other place ever!! I love the ladies there and the owner is such a wonderful lady.. They are the BEST PLACE to take your fur baby to if you need them to be watched..

Our dogs are always happy and well groomed when we pick them up from Bay Breeze! Their groomers know them and remember their needs and likes. We couldn't be happier!

LOVE this place! We are traveling and wanted a place our dig could go play. I called ahead to get them the proper paperwork so we were able to drop him off. He had a lot of fun with all the dogs. The facility was clean and the dogs well supervised. They took great care of him. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!!!

I started bringing my dog here when she was a puppy to socialize her, I would stay and watch her play, but it didn't take long before I realized she was absolutely fine without me and started leaving her for the full day and overnight. I've always been an overprotective dog mama, I have peace of mind leaving my dog here. The live Facebook feed is fun to watch, but I also trust the staff. They do a great job monitoring the playgroups and tending to the dogs. My girl is always excited to enter the building and tuckered out when I take her home, which is just what we both need.

From out of town and we were so happy to find this place to drop our dogs off while we went places that don't allow dogs. Our dogs were entertained, happy and well-cared for while we were away and it was nice to check in on them via the live webcam.

Both of my dogs attend school here often. They love it. I appreciate how attentive the staff and owners are. It is truly a great place for working families with dogs who may suffer with separation anxiety. Love love love!

This facility is amazing. Great for all dogs. We are from Idaho and came here on vacation and our pup was having a hard time adapting to the hotel. Cliff and his staff made the 2 night/3 day stay amazing for our dog Bentley and us. Very attentive and understanding of our needs and Bentleys needs. Thank you for everything!!

Well run place. Made us feel very comfortable leaving our dog there for the day, especially since we could see her on the webcam too. Cliff was friendly and very helpful. Great place to bring your dog for doggy daycare! Owner took great care of our pup when we visited on vacation recently. Excellent facility and they made the process super easy for us. We could see our dog was having a great time when we came back to pick her up. We will definitely be back!

We are vacationing in the area and were getting tired of wet walks with our dog. It was raining quite a bit. We were pleased to find that such a place as this exists. We didn't have our dog's vaccine records on us but the owner allowed us to have our vet email it to him. We stayed for a while. The place was clean. The staff were friendly. Our Milo had a lot of fun and expelled a lot of energy out of him. Highly recommend! I wish there were more of these kinds of places!

My dog loved this place!! I ended up getting a punch pass, which was perfect for my work schedule. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to those long work days, which is when my dog needed exercise the most. The facility is clean, dogs are walked throughout the day, but also have the option of relaxing in a quiet room filled with various dog beds. Excellent place, highly recommended.

Love, love, love these folks! Everyone I've dealt with, in the past 4 years, have been extremely helpful. I don't live in Astoria but visit many times a year. They have never suggested the most expensive option I may be looking for which would make sense to me, they being a "boutique" store. They are the only pet products store I will go to when in town.

Friendly staff and a great shop with amazing options for your dogs!! Bought our pups these pendleton inspired wool coats and they're so adorable and warm!! Also got raw hide free treats for them that the dogs devoured! Definitely recommend.

We stopped in while visiting Astoria because we saw the store listed on the Ruffwear site. We had picked up one of their harnesses for one of our dogs previously during our travels, and wanted to get one for the other dog as well. The store carried a wide selection of Ruffwear products, and the staff offered sizing recommendations, as well as helped size it to him to make sure if was the right fit. In addition to the Ruffwear products, they had lots of options for beds, toys, treats, and food. They carried the fluff and tuff toys, which are the longest lasting stuffed toys we’ve found, and gave our dogs some treats as well. Best of all, prices were within a couple dollars of online prices - no ridiculous small town shop markup like you sometimes see. Great shop if you’re in the Astoria area.

Cute dog and cat supply shop in the heart of Astoria. Upstairs they had cats for adoption. Decent pricing. Friendly staff. Water bowls for pets out front.

Riverdog is my new go-to pet shop in town. Not only do they have healthy treats and food options, but the customer service is amazing. They helped me find a food my picky pup actually loves and she always manages to find a new toy to walk away with from their cute selection. I love knowing I'm getting quality dog food at a great price AND supporting a local business!

Stopped in to find a replacement for my dog’s broken leash. The shop was so pleasant and well stocked on quality supplies. The staff was super helpful, I would go back if I lived in the area!

I have recently moved to this area, I was in desperate need to find a dog sitter to take my 50 pound Goldendoodle, Bella for walks and companionship while I work. Bella can be difficult at times. I was very Impressed how Carry worked with Bella. Taking her to the beach 🏖 walks, to my amazement she has helped train Bella to be able to walk her on a leash and listen to basic commands!!!!

Carrie is extremely kind and will treat your dog like her own. She is very attentive to details regarding your pet's care and is very flexible to accommodate any situation. Your dog will be in great hands with Carrie.

Deb and Greg are wonderful dog sitters. They have a natural empathy for dogs and provide a very homelike environment for your pets. There are some restrictions in place so please do not just show up and expect accomodations. Communication is stellar and prices are very reasonable. Absolutely recommended.

Nicely stocked per store filled with everything for dogs, cats, snakes, fish, rodents. Those things you didn't think you needed, they have it.

Over the course of a couple of weeks I talked to Dave about getting a new tank for my bearded dragon. He not only remembered the exact type of tank I was looking for, but the size and that I wanted a side opening one as well. He let me know about an upcoming sale, and when the time came to purchase even helped me carry it out to my car! The staff is very nice, informed, and offer good prices. Remember to shop local this season!

I always go here to wash my dog. For $15 bucks, the ease of washing your dog while standing, and then not having a soaked bathroom and towels afterward is well worth the price. The price includes some grooming supplies, a shampoo of your choice and some towels. They also have aprons that help keep you dry when your dog inevitably shakes during their bath. After, you can blow dry them!

My dog got super sandy so we came for a bath at the self service bath and it was super awesome. Fair price and everything is provided for you. The staff are super nice and helpful. Moose even picked out a toy when he was done.

Has everything I ever need for my pet, they even started ordering a certain pet food for me after I bought my Chinchilla from them. Much better than Petco

i took my dog here for a bath after a trip to the beach. super cheap and very clean tubs. though the soaps they offer are all natural, which is great for the skin but my dog has thick long fur and it was hard to really lather the soap and get her clean.

Ginger watched our dog Ellie, which is no small feat. Ellie is an extremely active cattle dog who demands activity. Ginger was up to the task and they fell in love with each other. Ginger is so caring and kind with animals it is really a beautiful sight to see. She really connects with all animals. Ellie was happy and well cared for and we have used Ginger numerous times since then. Ginger is the BEST!!

I want to give a huge shout out to Ginger Matyas. We have been using her to watch our two kitties in Manzanita for a few years. Ginger is a true gem! She takes great care of our kitties and lavishes them with attention. She takes and sends the best photos too! Your fur babies will love her!

Ginger is absolutely wonderful! She loves cats and knows how to give them exactly the attention they need while we're away. Our cat is very shy but Ginger was patient with him and now he comes out to play with her, which is very rare for him. She has also given us great advice and resources. She's prompt, kind, communicative, and great with cats. Couldn't recommend her more highly!

Ginger is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond for not only our cat, but for us and our home as well. We receive updates every visit which keeps us at ease, as we have an extremely shy boy. All I can say is WOW - Ginger was amazing with my 2 cats when I had to go out of town. I am new to Portland and was nervous about finding someone to have come watch my cats for me in my home while I took my first trip out of town. I now have no qualms about future trips because I know my cats will be in great hands with Ginger and her team every time. She brought over toys and played with them and sent pictures/videos every day which was so great. I would 1000% recommend Ginger to anyone needing to find someone to trust their fur babies with!

Ginger has been taking care of my two cats for over two years and she is great! I have an 18 year old cat with early kidney disease and an 8 year old who is frightened of everything after being rescued by firefighters when my condo building had a fire in 2017. Ginger is patient with him and eventually gets him to come out from under my bed covers. My older cat just loves her and climbs all over her. During my last two week trip she came twice a day as it’s important for my older cat to eat regularly. She updated me with photos and videos, easing my anxiety at leaving them for so long. I totally recommend Ginger.

We were so lucky to find Carrie and her husband to check in on our pets while we were away on a much needed vacation. We had never used a pet setting service before so we didn't know what to expect. Everyday she texted us on how we was doing and sent us a picture of our cat. When we returned home, she had the room where the cat is fed and his litter box is located absolutely spotless. She also left us an activity log of her activities and the cat's behavior that we could review. I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone needing cat sitting!

I left my elderly Border Collie, Jessie, with these folks and , due to his age, he suffered his second stroke while I was on vacation. They took him into their home and nursed him like he were one of their own, keeping him alive until I could get back to him. Words cannot adequately describe how grateful I was for their care. My new energetic BC loves these folks and they make sure he gets a good daily run and play while he is there. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

My dog was boarding here for about a week and I was going to come back and pick him up but I ended up getting really sick and couldn’t come back to pick him up. Nathan talk to me on the phone and said no problem, they kept my dog boarded there for almost a month while I recovered. Cooper’s kennel is in amazing place to have your dogs day.
