We LOVE Pooches Playhouse!!! My dog has been going there for 10 years! He gets so excited on the days he gets to go see all his friends! The staff are amazing! They take such great care of the dogs and love them so much! My dog absolutely adores the staff there and is excited to see them every time! They make sure the dogs rest if it's hot out, and give them inside room to play when it rains. They have lots of pools and drinking water when it's hot out and they even celebrate their birthdays! They have a lunch/nap time so they can rest, and they watch each dog to make sure they are acting "normal"... meaning, for example, my dog had just gotten over an ear infection, and I asked them to let me know if he was shaking his head a lot... they gave me a full report when I got there to pick him up! They do super fun activities for the dogs... like summer pool parties, visits from Santa and the Easter Bunny... even a kissing booth on Valentine's Day! They truly care about each and every dog... and we wouldn't take our baby anywhere else!

Our JRT pup is SUPER active and absolutely loves Pooches Playhouse. She runs, plays in the pool, and has a chance to socialize with other canines under the watchful, and CARING eyes of PP Staff. Just uttering the words ‘Pooches Playhouse’ has Styx running to the door to jump in the car! We feel so lucky having this facility so close to us - Styx has fun and we have peace of mind….priceless.

My Roscoe, before he died of a cancerous tumor at age 7, loved going to Pooches Playhouse! He would run and play so hard with his friends that he would fall asleep in the car on the way home. Even after he lost his sight, he was still welcomed in and cared for. He loved the staff. And if I ever get another dog, Pooches Playhouse will be my #1!

Pooches' Playhouse is great! My dog loves going here for daycare. The staff is super friendly and trained. You don't have to worry about your dog when you drop them off and they'll be pooped when you pick them up!

We have been taking our dogs to Pooches Playhouse around 9 years and have boarded there several times. Karen and her staff are amazing with the dogs. They ensure their safety above all. Erin has been at Pooches as long as I can remember and handles everything in a very professional and friendly manner. Everyone at Pooches goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are well cared for and their clients feel comfortable leaving family members in their care. We would highly recommend Pooches Playhouse. The dogs always come home happy, healthy and exhausted from a day at play!

They had my dog groomed in a very timely manner. They didn't hesitate to call me when they realized that he had a issue. Not only was I pleased with the service but also how well my dog was groomed. Very professional. Highly recommended. Wont be taking my standard poodle for a haircut anywhere else. Looking forward to starting daycare with their poodle gang, once he is updated on his shot record. 😊 this is my Echo a few days after his apt. They did exactly what I asked. I was so happy with it I called after to let them know! I have spent the same amount of money at other shops and have been very disappointed. Great business but got a call that my dog had worms…vet said he didn’t. Kind of inconvenienced our vacation but I know they were just trying to keep all animals healthy.

Puppy Playhouse has been a life saver the past two years. My dog Penny absolutely loves going there, she sprints to the door every time we arrive, and the staff is always so friendly and lets me know how she did that day. They are also a trustworthy boarding place, I am comfortable going on vacation knowing Penny is safe at Puppy Playhouse. Highly recommend to all my friends who have dogs!

My 3 dogs were there for almost 3 weeks while we were away in Europe!! We have been using Puppy Playhouse for over a year since we moved here! Our animals love going here and I love that they get to play and they are not caged up and only allowed out for two times to play like other boarding facilities offer. They get to play along with other dogs in the dog daycare program which is great!! Plus the owners are super awesome and very friendly:)

Our dog loves it here! We have a very emotional/protective dog, who has not had the best history with boarding. After his first day of daycare and mentioning his past issues, the staff were completely surprised, since he did SO well there. We have had no issues taking him for the day, weekend, or grooming and he always comes home tired from playing all day. It is nice to pick him up and see the staff holding/petting him...he is not the kind of dog to let ANYONE other than mom or dad hold him.They really get to know each dog and cater to their individual needs. Highly recommend Puppy Playhouse!!

They have great people working there, they're always so friendly and responds quite quickly whenever I had to call in for a question. They give military discount, so I thought it was very nice that they have that for our military families here. I Had a last minute travel duty and needed someone to care for my husky, they were the only place to respond to me with getting my dog in for boarding. Life Savers! <3

Jason and the staff at Puppy Playhouse are amazing. I was in a real bind with my son's dog and they literally saved his life. He has special needs and they were so helpful. Stephanie was incredible! She was extremely flexible and understanding, going out of her way to watch my cat over the busy Christmas weekend. Stephanie and her crew have been great with my dog, Waylon! They are reliable and send photos during the walk. They even check my thermostat and turn on a light for me when I'll be home late! Stephanie handled it like a pro when a dog got out of his collar in my complex and ran up to my dog who is still getting socialized. Melissa and the staff are great. Day camp and boarding are both great and they have a great facility, with both outdoor and indoor rooms if the weather is bad. The best part is when all the dogs come to say hi when you come to pick up your dog.

Everything is Pawsible and the staff is AMAZING! Koda has so much fun and gets excited in the morning when I tell him we are going to daycare. I have also used them twice for boarding and will continue to do so. They treat your dog like their own and I put all of my trust in them to take care of my baby. We love you guys!

Ruby loves this place and all her friends. We do playcare but will board in future if need be. Prices are right. Location awesome and they are expanding. I’m glad it’s sort of a secret here at beaches. Im 8 blocks away and so so easy to give my young boisterous dog a place to play and socialize. Astrid convinced me to try them. What a great find for busy dog owners who live in apartments. Prices are reasonable, my dog gets excited when we pull up. So far so good…currently have my dog boarding there for a week. Very convenient and the staff is great.

I was very nervous about leaving our 2 Englich Bulldogs at boarding/daycare due to little exposure to other dogs. The staff especially Rachael was AWESOME in easing our nerves. Rachael reassured us with a video & updates.The staff KNOWS dog behaviournd well to group them with other dogs to play. Very pleased! Wonderful, clean, friendly, professional & affordable! Boarded my kitten for 2 days and came back to a happy kitten. He had the room to himself as they had no other “tenants” lol. They said he was a good kitten and didn’t have any issues. Which I am grateful and said he ate well. He has a sensitive stomach and we were nervous overall happy with them and the service they provided. Also they loved him very much, and didn’t want him to leave. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you again for taking care of Ash. Picture for cuteness.

I love this place! I have a puppy and it’s great to be able to bring her in for daycare - so much socialization, play time, and no more destroyed shoes haha. The staff here love dogs and are very friendly. They’re responsive, they prioritize safety, and they’re willing to work with you if your pup is having any issues. The kennel itself is clean, the yard is large, and there’s plenty of ways the dogs get their play in.

Friendly staff, clean facility, ample play areas. Dogs were happy and well cared for. Taking them back in the future.

I can not say enough amazing things about Jet Set! They have transformed my pup to an amazing my companion who I can take anywhere. She was unruly and reactive and now can heel, place, stay, come and is so very happy! They are a text away anytime I have a concern and love on her everytime they see her! I love this place and the trainers!!!

Before coming to Beaches Jet Set Pets, our Ramona was a mess. She was reactive to everything, didn't listen to anyone, and was starting to become aggressive towards our kids. We were seriously discussing whether we needed to surrender her - it was that bad! But we knew people who raved about Beaches Jet Set Pets, and we met with them as our last resort. Because of her issues, Ramona stayed on campus for a month of intensive training. Trainers Chanin and Lilli were amazing - they worked with her daily and taught her all the basic commands. But it wasn't all work - there was lots of time for playing with other dogs, and belly rubs, too. The final part of the training is for the parents. After Ramona came home, Chanin and Lilli worked with us over 4 sessions to teach the humans how to be consistent with the training - after all, if we don't reinforce what she learned, she will fall back into her old habits. What was really great is how happy she was to see her trainers - that tells you a lot about the training experience. Ramona is a changed dog and an absolute delight to be around. I honestly think she is happier, too, because she understands our expectations now. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth every penny!

Five stars for Jet Set Pets! As first-timers to dog boarding, we were naturally apprehensive, but Jet Set Pets made the experience seamless and worry-free. From the very first interaction, their team was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions and easing our concerns. The staff were not only friendly but also showed genuine care and affection for our furry family member. We were particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities, ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all pets. It's clear that Jet Set Pets goes above and beyond, and our dog returned home happy and well-cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better boarding experience and highly recommend them to any pet parent!

Our Australian Shepard loves Loves LVOES Jet Set Pets!! She was attacked at a dog park about a year ago and my Husband and I were very nervous to drop her off for boarding. But Jet Set Pets is amazing! The way they pay attention to details and truly care for your dog is great. Lilli trained Henry my yellow lab he was just 16 weeks old. I’ve got to admit Henry is a perfect puppy now. He is very obedient and well behaved no all his commands and excuses them without fail. If you have a pet of any age Jetset training will work for you. This is the second dog they’ve trained for me Sandy was a 5 year old breeder never was socialized but in 3 weeks was the best trained buddy I’ve ever had. Thanks again to Chanin as well.

We are more than thrilled with Jet Set. Truthfully, we were skeptical that they would be successful accomplishing all the things with Archie that they stated could be done within the 4 weeks he was with them. Archie is so much better behaved and he has good manners now. We’re all happy. Additionally Jet Set is always there for any issues or questions that might come up. Thank you Jet Set!!

I admit! I am a worry wart. I am one if those people who literally HATES to travel because I don’t like to leave my dogs. Why? Because I worry! But I DON’T worry when they are at Beaches Jet Set Pets. There, I know they are SUPER particular to honoring my notes and concerns, and my dogs are SO loved while there with exceptional personal attention! My dogs don’t do playgroups as two are anti social with other dogs, and my third. Is a senior. They all stay separately, as per my wishes, but are all taken out together as a family to play and potty daily! They are happy, loved, clean, and no worse for the wear when I pick them up! There is such peace of mind I get from knowing they are safe and happy with exceptional personal attention so they feel loved and secure! They are not stressed, exhausted, zombies when we pick them up-rather, happy and enriched from all the attention they recurved! You can even book all kinds of bonus treatments if you so desire! My pups have been on the receiving end of the nightly cuddle session/story book time when they stay longer than one night! If you are a worrier like me, and feel like nothing is ever good or safe enough for your dogs, and as a result, hate leaving them....give Beaches JSP’s a try! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! We absolutely adore Jet Set Pets! Our puppy, Boadie, goes there for boarding and also did their bootcamp through the University (he's a changed dog now, better than we could have ever imagined, but that's for a different review!). Leaving Boadie is something that give me immense amounts of anxiety as he's my best friend in the whole world and I never want to spend a moment without him. Jet Set is literally the only place I get excited to drop him off at, the moment we turn the corner into the parking lot he goes nuts and is always SO clean and fluffy when we pick him up! They send report cards every night so that we can see how he's doing and they send the most hilarious pictures ever, we love it! You are all a god sent and we appreciate all you do to keep our boy happy and healthy.

My pups and I are very pleased with this daycare! They had never been to a daycare like this, but I did not like boarding them at the vet because they crated them most of the day… At Happy Hounds daycare, they got to walk around and socialize with the dogs that seemed very relaxed as well. I really appreciate watching them on the puppy cam because it helps keep my mind at ease when I’m away from them. The people here deeply care for animals and they do a great job of keeping the place clean. My dogs ate almost all the food I supplied. Even though they were shaking and nervous getting dropped off, they were relaxed and content the whole time I was gone. The next time I go out of town, I will definitely be using this place!

We had to board our golden retriever, Axe, for 2 weeks last month and Happy Hounds Dog Resorts couldn’t have made us feel more comfortable. We were anxious as we had never boarded him before and also given that it was an extended stay. The staff was caring, attentive and always answered any of our questions or concerns when we called to check in on him. Our pup is a teen so there were some times when he was a bit “rowdy” and the staff made sure to keep him and the other dogs safe at all times. We would definitely recommend their services and use them again if necessary in the future.

My two bulldogs went to the Beach location for doggy day care today. Great experience! Love that they have play room cameras. Highly recommend.

My dog goes to Happy Hound Dog Resorts on Beach Avenue fairly regularly and he loves it! The staff are quite friendly and seem to enjoy working with the dogs. They call Banjo by name and they all seem glad to see him every time I drop him off for daycare. The place is clean and the vibe is upbeat. I highly recommend Happy Hound Dog Resorts!

I found the folks here not only friendly but they went out of their way to help me when I had to have surgery and my did was due for boosters, they took him for me, which was so unexpected but so appreciated. They bathed him on short notice and updated me on his playing with another boxer which he hadn't been able to go play with others due to my injury. Highly recommend the care and facilities for your pets. Can't say thank you enough.

We had a medical emergency during our vacation to Amelia Island in which my husband had to be hospitalized at Baptist Health. Happy Hounds was wonderful! They took my dog the next day. They were happy to let me know how she was doing when I called and were very helpful when I found out my husband was discharged. I would definitely recommend Happy Hounds to anyone who needed dog boarding around Jacksonville.

Today was my first time taking my boys to a daycare, and they loved it! The staff is so nice, and my dogs had so much fun. It was nice I could look at the cameras and watch them play. I can’t say enough good things about this place. My wife and I are new to the area but needed boarding for our tow dogs while we were out of town for a medical appointment. When we arrived the staff greeted us at the door saying they were expecting us and quickly got everything in order for the drop off. They were friendly and answered our questions. We made mention we may be back the same day to pick them up as we didn’t know how long the trip and appointment would take. We did manage to get back before they closed and picked up our dogs. No issues with picking them up same day and because it was only daycare the first day was free. The place was clean and well managed and maintained. The staff was friendly and loving to our dogs. Looking at bringing the dogs back for more socializing.

We had to come in town on short notice for a funeral and were unable to secure boarding for our lab and golden before leaving. Luckily, our hotel was near Sawgrass Pet Resort. We contacted the staff the morning of the services and they were able to take in our pups on short notice, and gave our dogs a great day playing games instead of stuck inside a hotel room all day. We are grateful beyond words for the care they were able to give our pups, and were surprised to get some artwork from them when we picked them up. We frequently visit the area, and are so glad to have a place we can bring our dogs to play when we visit our family here. Thank you so much!

One of Chloe’s challenges was her listening to me when I call her. Marissa helped with encouraging, positive training techniques to get her to listen when I ask her to “Come.” I am beyond thrilled with my experience and recommend this training program to everyone!

My pups have been going to SPR for a while, and I have always loved their services. They care and know them as if they are their own, are always accommodating and responsive. They have recently expanded their services to include training and grooming, and it truly is a one stop shop. The trainer, Monika, works wonders. I have two Pomeranians that are so friendly and sweet, but unpredictable, whether it was reacting to leashed dogs, running out of the house, barking at dogs on TV. Being 4 years old, I had written it off as being part of the lively breed and I would just have to manage it. Monika came in and worked with them consistently, in many different environments and scenarios. She truly understands dogs and their behaviors, and is never harsh or punishing. Most importantly, she worked with us to train and arm us with the skills needed to ensure they are continually trained, stimulated, and have structure throughout their day. They no longer react to other dogs or other stimuli, patiently wait at the door, don't pull on the leash, and are just generally well behaved dogs! You can tell they are also happier and more at peace, which brings us peace. Thank you Monika!

Sawgrass Pet Resort is the only place I’d trust with my sweet fur babies. I have been coming here for over a year and have only had positive experiences! As I pull up to the building, my babies whine to get out of the car so they can play with their friends and see their favorite staff. Not only is the facility beautiful and clean, but the dedicated staff and owner truly care about the pups and treat them as if they were their own. The pictures they send every day reassures me that my pups are having a blast! At the end of the day, my pups are knocked out from the day of fun! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Marissa at Sawgrass Pet Resort is the best dog trainer around! 🙌💯 Not only is she very knowledgeable to the specifics of dog behavior, but she treated my dog with patience and care. My dog 🐶 can be a handful sometimes, he has high energy ⚡️high drive 🚘 loves to play 🛝 and gets distracted very easily! My dog didn’t know the very basic commands before working with Marissa. Implementing the training in home and having your dog listen outside of training can be hard; but Marissa’s guidance, training, and steps to implement in the home is extremely easy to follow. Not only does my dog have advanced training, now I do as well!!! He stays on his place when he needs to relax, listens very attentively to me, and doesn’t pull on his leash at the first distraction (something he could never do before!!) I am so grateful for Marissa that she taught my dog (and me) the skills to succeed!!! 🙌🙌

I bring all three of my pups to sawgrass and from the first time I did the tour, I was sure this was the right place for my babies! Staff and owner are wonderful and treat every pup as if they were their own. My female hound is very shy but all staff has made her feel so loved. My other two love it there, especially my older lab, who feels like a young puppy when she goes to daycare! 100% would recommend to anyone looking for doggie daycare or boarding!

Frieda took great care of my maltese Jersey for the weekend! It was difficult for me to leave my baby but Frieda made sure to keep me updated with plenty of texts and photos. She treated my dog just like family. I highly recommend Frieda's services and will definitely use her again!

I am so lucky to have met Frieda. My dog absolutely loves her and it’s so comforting knowing when I leave town or work long days that he is in good hands and happy. He is always excited to stay with her and is a tired boy when I pick him up from all the playing! I recommend her to anyone.

Frieda was a life saver! My wife and I had to attend my Father’s funeral out of state, Frieda was affordable, and she really made us worry less about our two mini dachshunds, whom we’ve never left with anyone before! Another thing that sold me on Frieda, was her daughter Claire! When she saw our pups, you could see in her face and smile that your dogs were gonna be loved during their stay! Highly recommend Frieda and Claire!

Frieda was wonderful! Never a worry! The dogs love her too! She always checks in during her visit with a photo, walks and feeds them. I could not have made it through the holidays, with my schedule, without her!

Frieda did a great job taking care of our pup and bird. She even let my dog sleep with her daughter. Her prices were reasonable and I will use her again. I really trust her!

Today I took a kitten I found left on the side of the street into Catopia because I was concerned after seeing signs of fleas. The wonderful owners at Catopia made me feel welcomed and Jim even gave me a tour of the boarding rooms for the kitties! They gently combed my new kitten and even gifted me a new cat carrier, some cat toys, and extra flea medicine, for free. Honestly, I've never been treated so well at any business, anywhere. My stop at Catopia really made my entire week, and I can't give enough thanks to the entire staff.

Our kitty Tina Turner loved it! We used to take her to another place that had dogs as well as cats and the dogs with separation anxiety barked all the time and she was so stressed out. Catopia is a “cat’s only”place! They have plenty of space, open play if wanted and a clean & serene environment with nice soft music. And the cat suites are painted and decorated so beautifully!:) Super cute idea! The owner Jim is wonderful and makes you and kitty feel safe and at home:) His staff are very friendly and attentive to the kitties and keeping the place tidy & clean! If you’re looking for a place to take your kitty look no further! Catopia is the BEST!❤️🐈‍⬛

Boarded our two cats here during a move over Halloween and was so happy we chose this place over boarding at the vet where the environment would be much more stressful. The owner and the staff clearly love cats, there’s a cat there in the lobby area to greet you, and although the place definitely smells like cats 😂 this is a wonderful and safe and as calming an environment that you could hope for as a cat. Ask for the cat and mouse suite!

Leslie is the best in Jax! If your cat needs grooming, take them to Catopia, they will be in good hands!! The boarding space is also top-notch. The decorations are so charming which they built themselves! Unbeatable prices, highly recommended, your cat will be in the lap of luxury here!

I’m so happy! We have a very sick long-hair kitty cat with 2 conditions affecting her brain, and she was struggling to keep her body clean - suffering from daily litter box accidents. I desperately needed help and Catopia was recommended to me by a local cat foster. I could not be more pleased. Leslie was extremely careful and gentle with Peaches, and very mindful of her condition. I was allowed to sit and hold her during the entire grooming process and bath, and Leslie even taught me a safe and stress free way to clean her “accidents” off her body at home so she can be completely sanitary, comfortable and clean for the remainder of her treatment. I highly recommend them for a stress free process to include bathing, trimming, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and take home cleaning tips as well for sick or elderly cats. Leslie has an incredible number of years of experience and especially with caring for special needs babies, she explained how the entire grooming process works for cats and how vastly it differs from dog grooming. Please be careful to not take your cat to just any groomer as I learned the technique used for cats is so different and requires a greater deal of experience as their skin is very loose with many folds which can result in being cut easily. As far as price - they are extremely reasonable and explained they are basically not in it for the money. They are retired groomers and grooming is a part time service they offer in retirement out of their love and years of experience with cats. I will definitely be coming back!

I went in looking to check out some kitty's they had for adoption and it's SO cute in there. The kitty's all have their own little themed rooms and a central play area in between them all. Very nice if you need a kitty sitter.

The owners are friendly and helpful and it's clear that they care about your pets. They are reasonably priced, very knowledgeable and also provide boarding for your babies. I haven't needed boarding but my friend takes his cats there every time he goes out of town. He is very particular and loves Catopia. They groom cats too which is a big deal to me.

My cat stayed in one of their spacious suites while I was out of town for 3 nights and it was a very wonderful experience. I was given a tour of the place before booking, I could tell the owners really cared about the cats comfort, and the place was very clean and well maintained. The suites were a great size and there were a lot of different options and the price was super fair. I felt very comfortable leaving my cat there and will definitely be back!

A great grooming place, and 5 star hotel service for those who have to stay over.

Leslie and Jim are amazing! Leslie is the only groomer I will take my ragdoll cat to. She goes above and beyond for these animals and their owners. Their cat suites are so clean and perfect for a cat's needs. They are all equipped with perches, places to hide, and contain interactive things for a feline's senses. If you need a talented and reliable groomer that is reasonably priced or you want piece of mind for your next vacation, take your animals to Catopia!

Our Savannah loves Coastal. Getting her during Covid, it was difficult to socialize her. We are so thankful for Coastal and the socialization she gets. She loves going and I am thankful for the friendly staff that love her.

Coastal is our Liberty's second home. The staff is warm and truly is part of our family. Wendy always greets Liberty, and me, with a smile. We are extremely grateful for the Coastal family!!!!

This place is amazing for dogs and their humans. The staff are super friendly and helpful. My dog Darcie boarded for a few nights and went to day care, they sent videos and photos and she came home with a report card. She slept for a full day when she came home :) highly recommended and very well priced.
