Patty and Chris keep surprising my husband and I. When she kept Sadie last she had other dogs that were bigger than my 5lb Sadie. For the first time in Sadie's life she would be around other dogs. we were extremely worried until we saw how she handle them. Patty and Chris were gently and patient with them. When we returned the biggest one was laying on Chris' lap the other one and my Sadie were curled up beside him. I found out that they even let the dogs that want to sleep with them! Wow! Just pick up my dog from Patty's and still can't believe that Sadie didn't want to leave. Patty and Chris are amazing. They even showed Sadie how to use the dog door. It leads to a large backyard that is surrounded by an eight foot fence ( may be 6', not positive). Patty said they had a large dog that climbed fences. :- ). Anyway, they put up with Sadie and all her small dog issues. We will definitely use her and Chris again.

Been happy with Patty and her husband's service. They've been watching my rat terrier 1-2x week since we got him at 8 weeks old. I appreciate them accomodating early drop-offs (6:15A). My dog gets excited to go over there.

Patty and Chris have been watching my toy Australian Shepherd, Zelda, for a little over a year now. This is a mom-and-pop place that's run out of their home with a fenced-in backyard for the dogs to exercise and play. Some days Zelda is by herself and other days she's among one or two other dogs so each pooch receives much love and attention. The price per day is very reasonable compared to other doggy daycare places in the area. A typical day consists of Zelda chewing on a cow knee, getting belly rubs, and chasing her 4-legged friends in the backyard until they collapse on the couch together. Patty will often text pictures and videos of the dogs as a check-in. It's a great feeling to know that my fur baby is in a safe place and well taken care of while I'm at work. Highly recommend Absolutely Animals!!

Highly recommend!!. We planned a trip to the zoo and mistakenly brought our fur baby. 15 min before arrival they lovingly agreed to watch our baby for us and saved the day. They kept me updated as to how he was doing and he seemed very happy at pickup. If you are ever in need of a pet sitter in Asheboro they are the right choice hands down.

I left my dogs with Patty for five days. She charged reasonable rates and I was kept up to date on the progress of my dogs. I highly recommend her dog sitting to others. Ray Martin

We had a great experience with Lori and her husband. We are from FL and were evacuating from the Hurricane. They took us in last minute when no one else would. They stayed up and met with us late into the night and sent us pictures throughout the days letting us know they were happy and doing well. Lori came to our house to feed/water/care for our many cats while we were out of town. She sent videos and pictures daily. I was very comfortable that our babies were being cared for and trusted Lori with everything. We will definitely be using her again!

Lori took great care of my dog, Zeus. She kept me informed and updated me with pictures every day. She even went out of her way to treat an ear infection he developed over the week. Zeus had a blast and made some new friends. Would highly recommend Lori and her services to anyone! I will definitely be back!

This was our pups first time away from home. He was well cared for and we felt at home as soon as we met Lori. He had friends to play with, but was well monitored. The pictures we received while we were away put us at ease. He was treated like part of the family!

Our dogs always get the best care when they stay with Lori and her family. We are comforted in knowing that they are being lovingly cared for while we are away. We also appreciate receiving photos and videos while they are there.

Seagrove Dog Sitters have kept our 2 dogs multiple times. I don’t worry about them at all. Seagrove responds to text from me quickly if I have a question. They send pictures and videos of the pets. They are very tuned in to the needs of visiting pets. The dogs can go outside to play or stay inside. All in all, it’s a home away from home for the pets.

I loved staying at Seagrove Dog Sitters in the care of Lori! My owner has amazing taste and couldn't have found a better temporary home for me while they were on vacation! She played with me every day and I enjoyed getting to socialize with the other puppies! She was constantly taking photos and videos of me being awesome and sending them to my human, who I know appreciated the regular updates! I even got to play with some water, which I love because, yea I'm a water loving dog! Of course she cleaned me up and organized all of my toys before I was picked up. Attempted to schedule a stay with this place via phone twice in a week (voicemails left), and I filled out a form online. No response. I definitely wouldn’t trust a dog boarding facility to keep my pet if they have poor communication or ZERO communication.

I'd definitely use the dog cabin again. These folks are professional and caring for sure. Great accommodations, and they have cameras to watch our babies while they are in their house. Awesome!!!

Kristy and Greg treat our dog Apache like she is family. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs to have their pet cared for. I could not say enough about how happy we are to know our dog is safe in their care, when she can't come with us out of town.

I have been taking my dog here for a few years. And Kristie and Greg are the best. They truly love the dogs. They spend time with them. And the set up is more professional than other dog daycare. My dog loves it when he goes to daycare to spend time with Kristie and Greg and his buddies......especially Oliver. Highly recommended.

Finally, a kennel close to home I can trust with my fur babies! Christie and Greg are personable and caring. You always wonder if any kennel follows through with what they promise. I arrived for pickup 30 minutes to discover my dogs being walked as promised. Big thumbs up for DOG CABIN B&B!

Easily the best boarding place I've been to/used. They genuinely care about the dogs they look after and my dogs always seem to have a great time here. Each dog you board gets multiple walks every day and they have dedicated runs. Love it here and will continue to bring my dogs every time we need a boarding place.

I’m super late writing this review, but I wanted to say, my German Shepard Elvis was here for 8 days while I was out of state and he had so much fun. The owners were very pleasant. They sent me videos and photos durning my time away! I could tell he was very well cared for & happy. We will most definitely use them again when we’re away!

This was the first time we used The Dog Cabin B&B for our 3 dogs and we couldn't have been happier with the experience! Great husband and wife team who truly care for your animals. I'm so happy we found them and would recommend them highly. This place is so cute and so many beautiful areas for your fur babies to walk/play and it is reasonably priced!

Our large lab has a great time. This was our first time here. Upon arrival they interacted with our dog. When I walked into the structure where the boarding room were I was thrilled that it smelled so clean and fresh. Our dog needs daily insulin shot they were completely ok with that. He had a wonderful time and I was confident that they would take care of him.

My 6 month old Stella first time being boarded and away from her " Mom and Dad" she felt at home right away. Staff was extremely friendly and caring. We will be back. Great experience!! Thank you for taking such good care if our baby girl!!!

My husband went to drop off our dogs. A mistake was made with booking and we was going to have to pick the dogs up a day early. Almost home called back a little while after dropping off dogs and told us they where able to work out the dogs staying the full vacation. That is putting your customers first and we truly appreciate it. We are able to enjoy our full vacation and we know our dogs are in good hands. Hands down a great kennel to board your puppy babies....we will most definitely continue to use them.

My dogs love it here. I know they're well taken care of & treated very well. I have a rescue beagle who was abused. I explained her situation to them and they are so good with her. She happily goes in, tail wagging! Can't beat the prices either!

My baby absolutely loves this place! When we pull up he knows where we are! He jumps out of my car runs up to the door and he's ready for his stay! They do a great job there! Highly recommended

This was the first time we needed to board our families three dachshunds. Shannon answered all of my questions promptly before we brought them to the kennel. All of the staff were so sweet and excellent with our fur babies. It put us at ease leaving them for such an extended period. We even emailed them while on our trip and received a prompt reply that they had settled in and were eating well and enjoying the grassy area. A great place with great people. We will not hesitate to board our pups there when needed. Highly recommend.

First of all, let me just say their communication skills are unbeatable. As soon as I would message, they would message me back within 30 minutes. Any questions asked, I got clear answers. Second of all, they're more than accommodating. We had our pup boarded for a week, (and a extra day unexpectedly) and they were more then accommodating to us having to add another day. Third of all, he smells great! Their bath/groom is awesome. They even sent him home with a cute little bandana on. SO CUTE!! I asked for pictures and updates, and received just that. I cannot explain how relived I was to find them before going on vacation. I will recommend them to any and everyone until I’m blue in the face!

We love Almost Home kennels. Our little schnauzer Ruger always seems happy at pickup. Never distressed. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I have called before during his stay just to check on him, they are always willing to give an account on how he is doing. We have used Almost Home many times in the last 8 months. Good job and highly recommend.

Bodie spent last week at Almost Home "camp" while his pawrents went on vacation. He is a high energy dog but came home a sleepy, clean, great smelling and content young man. Thanks for a great week away where I knew my boy would be safe and loved!!

These guys have never let me down. They treat your dog with the same amount of love and care that you do. Great rates. Awesome grooming services. Fenced in play area dogs get access to every few hours. Your dog will get lots of love and attention. I highly recommend these guys.

What an amazing experience! We have an 18 month old German Shepherd we rescued who was a bit unruly and was getting too strong for me to handle safely. We brought Gracie to Seven Lakes Kennels for training and in just 6 weeks - WOW! She's still the same love but different, I can walk her on the leash, she will listen to us when we give her a command, she no longer is chewing my furniture and blankets and is now able to settle herself down and loves to snuggle with her people. Neil has done amazing things with our Gracie and would recommend him to anyone who really wants to train their dog properly. We have also used the kennel while traveling and both our dogs love it. We know that our babies are safe and well taken care of while we are away. Thanks to Neil and all your staff. Your love for animals shines through in all you do.

Do we recommend Seven Lakes Kennels? Absolutely and emphatically. Rowdy and his siblings were rescued from the mud on a rainy day. He was so cute, very quiet and solitary. So he just had to be mine. What we thought would be a, maybe 25lb Beagle, became a 65lb American Fox Hound and Great Pyrenees. But living in a small house, he might as well have been a Clydesdale. And unfortunately, he began to live up to his name! Rowdy is very smart, learning to sit, shake and lay down in just 5 minutes. But he was definitely stubborn and strong-willed. And although he knew what "No" meant, generally regarded it only as a suggestion, doing whatever he wanted. Following his nose one day, as his breed is known to do, he darted full speed out the door, pulling me so hard I went airborne over four steps breaking my ankle upon landing. We definitely needed help with Rowdy. Research and due diligence lead us to make an appointment with Neil Copeland at Seven Lakes Kennels. It was the right choice. No exaggeration, Neil had Rowdy under his control in seconds. Neil has a love for animals and is dedicated to providing them the tools necessary for their best life. And because Neil recognizes the owners' involvement in training as crucial to a successful and happy owner/ pet relationship, Neil spends time training the owners as well. Having a military background, Neil balances obedience with love, much as we would raise our own children. Neil is a wonderful Christian man and we feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to build a relationship with him. BEST decision we EVER made for our dog!! We added a crazy silver lab puppy to our family. Mind you, people warned me not to get a silver, but his little puppy eyes just stole my heart. At 14 weeks he came to us with confidence and anxiety issues. At 5 months he was completely over the top with trying to dominate everything at home; but was the biggest scaredy cat outside the home. Initially, Neil worked with me one on one to give pointers and advice. He advised that training will always have to start at home. After a few independent training sessions, and following up consistently at home, we saw significant improvements. As our boy grew, and gained confidence (and weight) he then tried to be in control every situation. We decided at a year old he should do board and train so that we could ward off any severe problems before they started. After just a few weeks he came home the most polite boy we have had. Neil is an amazing trainer and has a no nonsense approach. Our boy still LOVES to go to the kennel for doggy day care. I feel totally comfortable to leave him at this kennel. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and friendly. The dogs play in very small groups and the staff watch closely to make sure everyone is well matched to play together. I’ve had all of my dogs in another more bougie, upscale, very pricey facility - and have not been as happy as we have been at 7 Lakes. 7 Lakes Kennels, by far, will always be our facility for boarding and day care.

I'm not a frequent Google review writer, but every once and a while I have an experience with a business that makes me feel compelled to publicly acknowledge them. My husband and I have a cattle dog who will be 2 in October. She's an absolutely brilliant dog, but a breed that is known to be quite challenging to train. Despite our good intentions with training early on we admittedly found ourselves in a situation where we realized we had slowly let our pup take full control over our household. We were letting her call the shots and communicating to her that we fell below her in the hierarchy of our relationships with her. In our defense...she is very pervasive in her manipulation of us, haha! We had heard so many great things locally about Seven Lakes Kennels, Neil, and his team, so we decided if we were going to get help, they were likely the place. Our goal was to get training for our pup (and us) that would allow her to be a confident furry member of society. We've only been working with Neil for going on 3 weeks now and my husband and I can wholeheartedly say it's the best decision we've made in a long time. We've been beyond impressed at the maturity and growth we've seen in our dog in such a short amount of time. Neil's knowledge of animal behavior and the full dedication he gives every day to the families and dogs he works with is something I've truly never come across before. We've learned so much on how to be better leaders for our dog, and how to read her and her needs. I plan to write an expanded review at the end of our training but wanted to put this out there now for any families also wanting to improve their relationships with their dogs and give them the best life imaginable.

We sent our 17 month old golden retriever to Neil for board and train for some bad behaviors I wasnt able to fix myself (jumping, not understanding personal boundaries, testing limits, etc). I didnt think I would ever send my dog to a board and train but with a baby on the way I knew it was needed. Neil not only taught her everything but taught us how to continue everything once she got home which is key. He was very patient with both of us and took the time to explain anything I questioned. The rest of the staff was very kind as well, and it was very affordable IMO. I do not regret my decision at all.

I took our Tinker Belle for a groom and she is absolutely beautiful. We love what Jenna did with her. She was so nice & she asked how we want her cut. I said just make her look good. And that she did. Thank you so much Jenna. Tinker Belle will be back. Here is before & after pics.

Excellent. Our border collie comes home with happy barks (of course she is coming home), but she is well fed and hydrated and clean. Seven Lakes takes such good care of our fur babies. We can’t ask for more. 5 stars to Seven Lakes.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for Amanda and her genuine care and attention she gave my little Cavapoo Sunshine. She was with Amanda for the very first time for eleven days. Amanda sent me videos/photos all week long to reassure me Sunshine was happy and well taken care of. I was completely relaxed knowing someone like Amanda was loving on my girl! Amanda is AMAZING!!! Five stars is not enough! Stew and I are so lucky to have connected with her! Since my pup Stewart started daycare at Amanda’s Ark, he has been so much more relaxed at home and just generally happier. I love that Amanda is so wonderful with him and all his special quirks- as well as with me and my being a bit “extra” when it comes to Stew. She truly goes above and beyond and even sends (the cutest) photos of Stew and his buddies throughout the day to let me know how he’s doing. When he is at Amanda’s Ark Pet Care, he is always having the best time, living his best life playing with the new friends he meets. I am so grateful that Amanda cares about each pet like her own. It is apparent that what she does for pets is truly a labor of love and joy for her! I feel completely comfortable leaving Stew in her care. Her level of pet care and behavior knowledge, experience and skill is top-quality and I am incredibly grateful to her for the loving, thoughtful, individualized and professional care she provides to him- and for each and every other pet she cares for! Absolutely wonderful, Amanda was able to get us in last minute as first time customers. She sent multiple pictures everyday our doggos were there of them playing and having a great time! They slept for 2 days straight when we got home cus they were so worn out! Our dogs. Absolutely loved her and they even went up to say goodbye to her as we were leaving!

Amanda's Ark is exceptional! Rudi and Sam had an amazing time with Amanda, who treated them like her own. Our nearly 14-year-old has never been happier and I am not entirely sure he wanted to leave!. Amanda is professional, responsive, and her facility is fabulous. It's perfect for dogs unfamiliar with boarding. Five stars and highly recommended. We can't wait to use her services again!

Will not be going back. Two nails were cut so short that they bled. Didn’t catch it until I got home, after she bled all in my car. I called to complain and the most they offered was to talk to the tech and for her to come back in to get stuff put on her to stop the bleeding. Why would I bring her back after that? No refund or discount offered for hurting my dog. Don’t bring your pets there for nail trims.

I have been a customer for years at fur babies and always was happy with them. However, I recently brought my 10 year old German shepherd with hip dysplasia in for a bath. I told the lady at the desk about his condition as I always have. The staff knew about him because he has always gone there for boarding and baths. When I picked him up I was told that it was difficult to bathe him because he wanted to just sit. The lady at the desk made me feel like he was a problem and an inconvenience. How about being compassionate for him and his condition?!? They used to be so friendly but the staff changed and so did the atmosphere. They lost my business and I’ll take my fur babies to somewhere where they show older dogs some dignity! Please teach certain staff how to treat animals and their owners and to stop the eye rolling!

I was very happy with the staff at fur babies. The facility was clean, and everyone was friendly. I got my boy, Seger, a bath & toenail job. The price was very reasonable & I don't have to tell you how important that is when everything is SOO expensive! They did an excellent, professional job. He was ready to be picked up even earlier than they estimated. Seger was not stressed or nervous after spending the day with them. I will use them again and highly recommend their business

They did an awesome job just yesterday on my GSD. They always have since I started taking him there when he was a baby and is now 2 years old. They bathe him, clean his ears, clip nails, brush teeth and express his anal glands. All of this for under 60 dollars.

My dog to board here again b/c I think it's a reasonable priced for BOARDING. This time the young lady asked if I would be interested in allowing him to have a bath and I stated sure. She advised $35. Well on the day a pickup another lady (rude may I add) said it's $40 for the haircut I asked why? When I was advised $35....she says well it just is b/c he has long hair. What???? His hair isn't even that long and if you charged extra for this and that then I would have NEVER allowed him to get a bath b/c his groomer could've done a better job and for $20 extra would have covered a haircut, bath, nail trim, teeth cleaning etc. Ts not the $5 its the principal of not explaining extra fees ahead of time. Then I had my hand out for the receipt she sat it down. Dont get an attitude b/c I asked questions. I would recommend boarding but bathing...no unless your told about all the extra charges and if I could remember her name I would advise that she needs to provide better customer service to all clients. If I would sat the form on the floor for her to pick then it would've been considered disrespectful. So provide me with the same respect.

I have a silver lab and a black daushound. I used to enjoy using FurBabies to broad and groom my dogs. Im not sure what changes they have had within there facility but we seemed to experience more and more issues with our visits. At Our most recent and definitely last visit, my lab came home with both blood vessels busted in his eyes… which they say “was result from him being stressed during a nail trim”! But after doing research I have found out that is not possible: it had to be from being choked by his collar or something more physical. I Totally would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I understand some dogs may not be cooperative but if that’s the case communicate and let the parents know what’s going on and that you can’t perform the service instead of causing harm to my animal! This is not the only problem we have had but after this incident I’m not risking another opportunity for something else to go wrong. Only giving 2 starts because they are nice/friendly.

Thank you Fur Babies! This was my dogs first time going to a groomer and they did amazing! Especially with her ears. She won't let me clean them but they were able to clean it out completely. We will now be regular customers! See you in a few weeks!

With short notice, Kim was able to fit our pet sitting needs into her schedule. She is very professional, personable and knowledgeable. We felt at ease leaving our kitties in her hands while we were gone. She made it possible for us to go away without stressing about the fur babies! There were detailed reports and pictures after every visit. She worked different methods to get one stubborn cat to take his medication. Plenty of play time was had after food, water, liter box, etc. Everything was done! Kim's services are well worth her rates. We will recommend her and use her services again.

Kim was wonderful caregiver to our 2 dogs. She is dependable which put us at ease knowing someone was going to show up. Kim has been fantastic. She cares deeply about the animals and is willing to be flexible and talk out how to make our time away easy for us and our animals. We get regular updates when she visits and we never have to worry while away.

Recently moved to NC from out of state. We needed to hire a pet sitter for an upcoming trip, and of course it can be stressful to figure out who to hire based on a search on Google. Especially when you're new to an area and don't know many people yet. I settled on Kim based on her excellent reviews. There is a reason that Kim is highly recommended. I NEVER wondered if my cats were ok while we were gone. Not once. Kim sent us reports via an app called Time to Pet for every visit made to our home, including photos and what she did for them during the visit. The app is insanely easy to use and I really like that it's a one stop shop for booking, payment, communication, etc. She is a true professional and excellent at what she does. If you're currently looking for someone to take great care of your pets and home while on vacation, the search should end here. She truly is wonderful!

If you are looking for a very reliable person to take care of your pets look no further. Kim is the absolute best. She really cares about what she does and the animals she cares for. She stays in touch with her community of people that use her pet sitting service. Honest, reliable and knows how important it is that pet parents feel very secure and happy the pet kiddos are cared for the best.

This was my first time boarding my 4 month old pit bull terrier, Jewel, and I was very nervous!! However, Lucky’s did great! They gave me updates, called with suggestions based on how Jewel was adjusting, and made sure she came home smelling nice and fresh!! Thank you all so much and Jewel will happily be returning!

I’ve been boarding my 7 yr old blue pit, Axel, at Lucky’s for about 5 1/2 yrs now. He usually stays for long weekends, perhaps 4-5 times a year, and then a 7-8 day or even 14-15 day stay once a year. We adopted another pit bull, Kimmy, 6 months ago and she has stayed a couple times already. We just picked up both of them from a 15 day stay, Kimmy’s longest. The folks at Lucky’s get to know my dogs well and several of them love spending personal time with each of them. I’m glad to get feedback on how they each did. They even gave both dogs a special (free) celebration, for which I received pictures, during this recent stay when I mentioned it was Axel’s Gotcha day and Kimmy’s birthday! Many folks have been there a long time as well.

We are thrilled with our experience at Lucky's!! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. I was able to drop off our cat at 7am and still make it to work on time! They bathed her and kept her entertained all day until I could pick her up. The groomer was awesome and even got a picture of during grooming and all for a great price! Not to mention the facilities are fantastic! Will definitely be back!

1st timer here: I was looking for a place to board my critters, AKA "the monsters" and "the zoo," for holiday travel. When I called Lucky's I spoke to the nicest person on the phone. She was very knowledgeable and seemed to care about me and was not rushed with my many questions. The day I visited, I ran into a friend who has been using Lucky's since it opened - I felt it was probably going to work for me. I was given a tour of the premises, not rushed or pushy, and by the end I was sold and left a deposit! Fast-forward to the recent stay. The drop-off was very efficient, making sure they had all details needed for each critter. For pick-up no problems, a quick clean up for one, that was not expected - it was a gold star moment for me! I think they all had a great time - I even received a text with a collage of the Zoo while away!! They all came home happy and ready to run and play some more at home. They were more clingy, wait, that's normal - ha! Shout out to the manager Kristie and the entire staff at Lucky's Pet Resort! We will be back :-)

My dog Kody loves going to LUCKY’S for daycare and boarding. They take great care of my sweet baby and he’s always exhausted when I pick him up. The staff is really friendly and Kristy is Awesome!

Top notch service as always! Lucky’s staff is always so friendly and helpful. They treat my Brody like he’s part of their family. Grooming is always on point, I never have to doubt or worry what he will look like when I pick him up. When on vacation Kristi made sure I got updates on What’sAapp since my fur baby has epilepsy . This meant a lot to me to know they cared enough to make sure I wasn’t worried. I have been a luck’s client since they opened and plan to be one for a long time!

Today was my dog’s first day at Lucky’s daycare. The staff is super friendly and very informative. I was able to watch my dog play in the play room by logging into the camera from my computer. That is just awesome. He looked like he was having so much fun! He came home super tired because he played all day!

I’m sure our dogs were taken well care of, but I was disappointed that they didn’t refrigerate their can dog food. When the partially used Can was returned to me, it was warm. I opened up the lid and it contained mold and was discolored. I hope our dogs do not become sick because their food wasn’t stored appropriately.

Lucky’s was amazing! They were extremely accommodating for our handful of a Pitbull who is experiencing complicated health issues and isn’t pet friendly over the Thanksgiving holiday. Even with being booked nearly to capacity, the entire staff went above and beyond to keep her separated, comfortable, and personal time spent with her during her stay. We will surely be back if ever needing to travel with her to the Greensboro area, and would recommend Lucky’s to anyone looking for pet boarding of any kind!

My dog’s been visiting Best Friends since she was a puppy! All the staff are amazing and take great care of all their guests. I love the fun event photos they do, along with the daily daycare and pool posts on Facebook. The manager, Ashley, is always so happy and quick to greet everyone!

Moose absolutely loves going to daycare at Best Friends Bed and Biscuit! He looks forward to it every week and jumps out of the car with excitement when we arrive. The staff is so kind and friendly and truly get to know your pup and their needs which puts us at ease. This is the best daycare/boarding facility in town and we are so appreciative of the staff which makes it so great!

I’m honestly a little disappointed with this place. I’m new to town and everyone told me how spectacular this place was so naturally I was thrilled to have my dog spend the time at what seemed to be a beautiful facility with large grassy areas and lots of play space. I dropped my dog off for three nights of boarding when I found out that daycare wasn’t included in boarding and if I didn’t pay extra, she would just be in her kennel the entire time— I know they call it an indoor outdoor suite, but still. And then I also found out that they only do four hours of play for the entire day (2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon). My dog could go all day if they let her and I was a little sad to hear that they restricted play… which I was paying extra for. I also asked for a Spa bath upon exit which was supposed to come with a blow dry. I have a doodle and can clearly tell when she has been blow dried versus air dried and they definitely didn’t blow dry her but still charged me for it. They also don’t include basic things like report cards, pictures, or web cams which are included so many other places. So after almost $350 for three days, I was a little disappointed. What was really the kicker for me was that she also came home with some kind of infection on her paws. This caused me to have to take her to the vet, which was an additional bill, and she was so uncomfortable for several days. I’m sure this place is lovely for several others, but after being charged way more than expected and having to pay the price in several different ways, I’m not sure we’ll be back. I’m not mad or upset— these things happen and I think this was just a series of unfortunate events, I’m just not sure they’re worth the $. I did email my concerns to them about the infection just to give them a heads up in case they can clean or do something to avoid this for other dogs. I am waiting to hear back and will share the response, especially if it’s positive as I sincerely hope to give them the benefit of the doubt.

We absolutely love Best Friends Bed and Biscuit! Our dog is SO excited to go. He loves to socialize not only with the other dogs but the staff as well. Booking is super easy with their app and the facilities are wonderful. Our dog has only participated in the daycare and grooming services but we do plan to use the boarding services this summer. One of my favorite things is seeing all the adorable pictures of my dog with the other dogs on BFBB’s Facebook page. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t be happier and feel really lucky to have such a great facility in our area.

Best Friends has the best staff around! They manage to make you feel like your dog is their favorite dog. I have a very busy work schedule so I rely on taking my dog to daycare several days a week. He loves it and I am always confident that he is safe and happy while he is there. Try them out- they are the best!

Every Friday rain or shine, Moose is spending the day with his furry buddies and great hosts at BFBB! This organization truly cares for each animal and takes the best care of Moose! He has been at several different daycare/boarding facilities over the years and we have never felt as comfortable as we do now at BFBB. Each staff member always greets you with a hello and the staff have your dogs name memorized which makes it easy to hand off your pup for the day! Facility is clean, communication is great and activities are well worth the investment!

Our dog loves Bed & Biscuit, whether she’s there for a long vacation stay or just a day of daycare. She gets so excited when we pull in! I love that the staff is all so nice and friendly and helpful! She’s 5 years old and has been using Bed & Biscuit since she was a puppy. We can’t even say the name out loud at home without her perking up her ears and getting excited!

Our family feels so thankful to have found Best Friends Bed and Biscuit! The wonderful staff and trainers take great care of our sweet Boxer Stella at weekly daycare and on the occasional boarding visit. With their support and guidance, Stella has blossomed here from a very scared pup to a happy healthy girl with a circle of friends. We're able to get a glimpse into her day with the daycare photos on FB and we love the holiday photoshoots too. We are willing to drive an hour round trip from our home to BFBB several times a week, passing by several other similar businesses, because the quality of care and love is so high here. We can't recommend this place enough to other pet parents!

Best place for my two pups! I try to go at least once a week. They seem to love the saltwater swimming pool when it's open in the summer. Local owned and amazing staff. I highly recommend Loving Pet Inn & Resort. Pam was so accommodating for the unique boarding circumstances for my two dogs, which allowed me to enjoy vacation without worry. Your pets are definitely in good hands!

Long, but necessary read if your pup is anything beyond ordinary or has separation anxiety. I submitted a very detailed analysis about all things regarding my chihuahua through their website application and heard nothing for nearly 2 weeks. My application was detailed because chihuahuas can be temperamental and mine has separation anxiety, so he should be with people who understands and accepts what that means. To her credit, the owner, Pam, was very responsive after I decided to reach out for a follow up. She claimed to not have seen my application or have it in her records, which thankfully an automated confirmation with all the info was sent to my email, so I simply forwarded it to her. She expressed that she was excited for a chihuahua in the mix of small dogs and eventually we agreed on a day for him to start daycare, before doing boarding. The time between her and I making contact and me bringing him in was about a week and we spoke on the phone several times throughout. On my way to work, I stop to drop him off. One of the first things she said upon us walking in was, “I don’t know if this is going to work.” I was baffled, because nothing had even transpired beyond us walking through the front door. Which tells me she either waited til right before we arrived to read anything about him, she never had any intentions of accommodating his needs and was just now letting me know, we were profiled, or all of the above, I don’t know. I had not received any sense of hesitation from her prior to bringing him in and even offered to bring him the weekend prior, so that we all could get familiarized beforehand, which she declined. Her sudden reservations made me uneasy about leaving him, but I drive far for work and did not have time to take him back home, so I tried to remain optimistic. I end up getting a call a few hours later that he needs to be picked up and cannot stay there, because he bit someone and they have him trapped in the kitchen. I get there and once again, as soon as I enter, Pam shocks me, calmly sitting behind the desk, she says “It’ll be $25.” You called me twice, left a voicemail, and made it seem like my 8 pound dog was on a rampage, to the point that he was expected to leave immediately, and when I arrive to pick him up, you don’t even mention anything about him or his behavior until I ask what all happened and where is he. Apparently he didn’t bite anyone, but did growl and show his teeth, which is not uncommon for him or any chi to do (btw he’s 11 and only has 15 teeth left). However, once again, in the application I detailed every potential behavior and how to handle it. They also had a thick rope leash around his neck, which I don’t understand, because he’s tiny, still had his harness on, which his retractable leash connects to, and he was hiding under the table. She kept reiterating that she was sorry and felt bad, but that didn’t stop her from swiping my card. I’m upset because as a woman of integrity, I was very clear about everything from the beginning and it just seems like I was unnecessarily used for a literal quick buck.

This is the “home away from home” for our fur babies! I especially appreciate Pam and Karen. Pam is a consummate professional in business however her heart shines through in her genuine care and attentiveness for each guest at Loving Pet Inn & Resort! She puts my mind and heart at ease every time we leave our pets to visit! Thank you Pam and Karen for all you do!

Great place to board your dog. The owner lives on site. They always love on our dog. They post photos on Facebook, so you can keep track of your pup. Highly recommend.

Great place with very friendly staff. Our dogs didn't want to leave, which is not usually what they want after being boarded. So, they definitely had fun. Cute pics get posted to their Facebook page and we have had some adorable one. Definitely my go to for dog boarding now!

The new owners have done a great job! Winston used to stress out going and was all over the place after picking him up. He was excited coming and going and you could tell he enjoyed his time. Very thankful my dude was well taken care of!

I waited a very long time to post a review in hopes of me not being so angry when I wrote it. Last year, we needed to board our two dogs and cat. The dogs have been boarded many times before but since we moved to a new state, we needed a new place. I have two black labs who have always been boarded together. When we arrived for boarding, we found out they planned to board them separately. If I would have known this ahead of time (and I did ask and was told they would be together), I would’ve gone somewhere else. It was too late for that so against my better judgement, I left the dogs and cat. They had all of my contact info as well as emergency numbers for our friends. We only saw one picture of them posted the day they were dropped off and none the rest of the week, which should’ve been a red flag. We picked them up a week later and were told one of our dogs tried multiple times to dig out of her kennel overnight and that her husband had to keep fixing it. They told us which dog, and it surprised me because that behavior wasn’t typical for the one they said did it. I asked if they were sure they didn’t mix up the dogs and she said, “No, it was the black one.” Both dogs are black - how do you not know both of my dogs are black when you've supposedly cared for them for the past week? You cannot tell them apart by color. At that moment I realized I made a horrible mistake leaving them here. At no point was she concerned for my dog, just the door her husband had to fix twice. I can guarantee she was trying to get to her sister. Had any concern been made for my dog, I would’ve offered to pay for damages, but she had no concern for my dog. When I got home, I discovered my dog had sores on her mouth probably from trying to get out, as well as having worn her elbows down to skin - no fur. My dog should have been seen by a vet for the sores but they chose to just neglect her instead. Had they called me or my emergency contacts, we would have come and gotten them. I would have left my vacation early had they called. It took several weeks for the sores on my dog’s mouth to heal and several months for the fur to grow back on her elbows. I’ll never go back to this kennel and would never in good conscious recommend them to anyone. They tried to say they would still accept my other dog and my cat back, but given their lack of care and compassion for my other dog, I would never even consider them.

We dropped our golden doodle off for a day of play at Loving Pet Inn &Resort and had the best experience. We picked up a happy pup and felt so safe leaving our furry son with these very capable, kind people so we could furniture shop for the day. We will use them again the next time we or in NC and highly recommend them to others who need to until their services. We trust them and the price was very reasonable. Thank you!
