We were absolutely blown away by the entire experience boarding with Wilkes wags and wiggles!! We were in town due to hurricane and the owner Amanda was so kind and helpful to us! We’ve boarded many places previously but never experienced this level of hospitality and professionalism. It was so nice to see pictures of our dogs everyday having fun , and eased our minds while we were away. We would absolutely love to board here again in the future! There’s only an option for 5 stars but I would give 10 stars 🌟 wilkesboro is so lucky to have such an incredible caring team at Wilkes wags and wiggles! Thank you so much!!! This is the first time leaving our fur baby overnight. We went out of the country and his stay was going to be long. (12 nights) I was so worried how he would do but Amanda and her staff took such wonderful care of our boy! Every single day they posted so many pictures and it eased my mind and made me smile to see how happy our O’Malley was during his stay! He has made so many new fur friends and I know he won’t mind going back in the future! I highly recommend Wilkes Wags and Wiggles for boarding or daycare needs! They love your fur babies just as much as you do!❤️

A blessing to find!! We recently have a new puppy in the house. Both my boyfriend and I work full time, so having a doggy daycare in Wilkes is perfect for our pup! He goes and gets all his energy out while we are working and have a tired pup when we pick him up! She is so sweet to him and he loves going to see Ms. Amanda!! ♥️ always clean and organized!

If I could give WWW more than five stars I would. WWW staff has been so good to my sweet boy. Before we even get parked Boomer is wanting to jump out of the car because he is so excited. WWW and their staff communicate with pictures throughout the day and I think that is one of my favorite things about them. I am able to see how much fun my boy is having. We love WWW!!!

Great 1st experience boarding our 3 dogs here! Extremely good care, shared photos several times a day to keep me posted on them!Staff played and petted them often, Facility was very clean with separate areas for play outdoors! Will definitely use again and highly recommend for anyone who is nervous about boarding!

I STRONGLY recommend them! My senior dog had a stroke earlier in the year, and even though she has fully recovered she needs 24-hour supervision and has a lot of medication to take. Amanda was awesome, she constantly posted pics of Katy in her app and kept a detailed log of what medications were given, by whom, and when. It was amazing to be able to keep up with Katy to that degree! And it relieved a LOT of stress while we were gone. She also makes a point to keep senior dogs separate from the younger and more active dogs, so Katy only spent time with other dogs that were on her level.

Excellent! Our two bulldogs stayed with Wilkes Wags and Wiggles. They accommodated our reactive female with no issues as they will keep them separate from other dogs at all times so I didn’t worry a bit. The facility is super clean, no dog smell at all. Also, the runs they stay overnight in are clean and roomy. The best part for me as the pet parent are the picture updates I received (via the app) very often throughout their stay. The app is super user friendly. I felt that Amanda cared very much for our pups and remembered even the little details about their personalities that we shared with her prior to our visit. We will DEFINITELY use Wilkes Wags and Wiggles again!

We recently acquired two puppies and finding this hidden gem has been so wonderful. Adley and Gunnar (any Orioles fans?) have been to daycare 3 times now and absolutely love it. They make the process very easy for us humans, and provide a safe, fun, loving environment for the pups to play. We always get tons of pictures, and they always come home exhausted. Everyone's happy!!

10/10 would recommend! They allowed us to drop our dogs for the day, accommodating for a non-usual day care day so we could take our young family on an adventure while we were in town at the local campground. Very friendly, Reasonably priced, seamless pickup and drop off, easy to make reservations through the app, sent multiple photos, and our dogs seemed to have a great time! Thank you for the hospitality!!

Toby had an awesome stay while we were away! Amanda realized that he would benefit from one on one companion care and upgraded him immediately without charge. We received photos daily throughout his visit to document his activities. I feel like they truly care about these little babies and take care of them like they are their own. I highly recommend them if you want a worry free stay. Toby will definitely be back when we need them!

It was difficult to find a place that felt comfortable for my rescue dog when I visited Winston Salem. Amber was very welcoming to Daisy and me. She understands rescue dogs. Daisy had a positive experience, I think. She came home with improved socialization skills with other dogs. I really appreciate that. Thanks for what you did for Daisy. I'll use Winston Salem Dog Care again for Daisy when we visit.

What a God send to me! Winston- Salem dog care treats my Great Dane (Zen) like family. As a traveler ( contract medical worker) I work long hours and need my boy to get out. I’ve had to use Rover and Wag in the past and sometimes it was good other times NOT. I never worry about my boy now because Marie and her staff take such excellent care of him. I highly recommend them.

Have to share how wonderful Winston-Salem Dog (and cat) Care is! Have 1 pup and 2 cats, all inside babies. The pup came from a hoarding situation, doesn't like other dogs, and won't go #2 outside, so boarding is a challenge. Home visits are the solution! I had them come twice a day for my pup, and he couldn't have been happier! The picture attached shows exactly how much he loved all the attention he got. The cats are shy, but they even came out for the sitters, which is quite the endorsement. My house was in better shape than when I left, everyone was happy, well fed and unstressed. I've already rebooked them!

I discovered WSDC from my vet. We were recommended and made an appointment to meet Justin and so glad we did. My Kacee loves going to Daycare and Amber has become Kacee's daycare Mom. Kacee isn't used to being alone for long periods of time and his breed becomes very stressed if this happens. WSDC has been a godsend. Kacee gets so excited on his visits. I love the fact that Amber and all the moms there take such good care of my boy. Amber thank you for being so amazing I love that we get picture updates on his visits as this helps Mom to stay calm

I have used WS Dog Care personally for my own dog, in which every single person that came to my house to take care of Maverick was SO incredibly kind and sent me photos and updates. As a property manager, I have also turned to WS Dog Care for resident emergencies and they have been even MORE fantastic. I cannot thank Marie and team enough for always helping during these situations. You guys are incredible, and I'm so grateful for the partnership!

My eldest dog just turned 12. I’ve never been fortunate to have a work from home job so I’ve utilized many dog daycares & boarding. Winston Salem Dog care is so far above and beyond the best we’ve ever been to. And even that doesn’t do Justin & Marie and their team justice! They are the second family my, and all dogs, need and set the bar for dog care! On site is serene and a perfect environment! We additionally utilize the in home pet visits for our cat. They collect the mail or a random Sam’s club package that I profusely apologize for not being able to pin point the delivery to the days we’re home for without hesitation or worry! We are truckers that travel weekly and our return day isn’t always easily scheduled on our end. Weather or road work can collapse return times by hours or days. The team is responsive, flexible and always happy to assist! If I attempted to highlight all the ways WSDC has been flexible, patient, accommodating and understanding without ever a misstep in service I’d run google reviews out of storage space. I cannot explain just how immense the internal peace is of knowing your dogs are having the time of their lives with a plethora of other dogs and being loved on and taken care of while you can’t be there!

I normally do not leave reviews, unless someone has done something exceptional. WS Dog Care is an incredible team. In an emergency they helped me to take care of another’s dog- when every other boarding location and kennel was booked through the new year. Though my friend passed, they were supportive of me and what I needed the entire process. Can’t say enough how great a business this place is. If you give them your business, you will not be disappointed! Thank you again, WS Dog Care. Marie and Elizabeth were very helpful and accommodating.

Amazing dog care all around. I travel for work, and use them for both house visits, and boarding, and Marie, Justin and their staff have been beyond amazing. They have accommodated my crazy schedule on short notice, take the time to know and understand my dog’s personalities and needs. I get pictures and updates about visits consistently, my pups love it. They truly care about your pups and treat them as one of their own. Truly, 5 stars isn’t even close to what they truly deserve!

I had a family emergency a couple months ago and had to leave town indefinitely. I reached out to Justin the night before and asked to board my three fur babies. Justin took them in not knowing when I will be back. Cain, Abel and Lilith were well cared for and loved on. The staff's genuine love for dogs is evident, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The facilities are clean, and the daily updates they provide give me peace of mind. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking top-notch care for their beloved pets!

The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable. They also treat your baby like their own. I tend to have anxiety with leaving my precious cargo with others, but Amber ensured that I was at ease and all my questions and concerns were addressed. This was the best pet sitting experience I have ever had. From our first communication to the last visit, absolutely amazing. Thank you for caring for my Penny girl and treating her like your own. Our experience with Great Dog Days was simply AMAZING! 🤩 We were traveling from out of town and needed a dog sitter for the daytime. The communication in advance and during our visit was everything we needed to feel comfortable leaving our dog Winnie with Lesley. Winnie was definitely well taken care of and seemed to have really made friends with the other dog. The photos and communications throughout the day also helped us know Winnie was safe and in caring hands. I would absolutely give more than 5 stars if I could. We will definitely hire Great Dog Days again during future trips!!

Lesley has been coming to my place to walk my two little dogs (8 & 13 lbs) for a few months. We just moved here from California and I didn't know how I'd manage. I am so happy I found her! They love her, she takes pics and sends them to me, and texts me a daily report. She is a natural and a genuine dog person. Always reliable and responsive, warm and professional. We are very lucky to have her! She even made me this little picture today and texted it to me while I was at work!

We are so grateful for Leslie and Great Dog Days. Our Lucy was taken care of wonderfully. She has severe separation anxiety so finding a place that would give her the environment she needs was so important and Leslie did just that. Lots of toys, companionship, snuggles, and walks. She sent us photos and videos of Lucy throughout the day so we wouldn't worry. Leslie was very thorough and professional - getting health info etc, but was also friendly and easy to work with. Thank you so much for being so kind to Jager and doing exactly what you said you would do, for coming when you said you would come let him out and for spending some time with him. Leslie was a Godsend to us. We interviewed her and she did a meet and greet with our dog first and we found her to be charming. Our dog loved her immediately. She was very accommodating. We had to be out of town 12 hours a day every day for over a week. We are retired so Jager really needed her loving visits. Each day she sent us a photo and a video of him every time she came by to let him out which was awesome and gave us much needed peace of mind that he was okay. We highly recommend Great Dog Days and Leslie to anyone who wants to rest in complete confidence that their dog is being very well cared for. We certainly plan to use her again.

Lesley was SO great to work with! She was attentive with any questions we had and gave us several reports at how our pup was doing while we were away! She was incredibly friendly and our dog always had someone to play with. He was exhausted for days when we brought him back home! I highly recommend her service and we'll be sure to work with her in the future when we're away!

While I am a dog sitter myself I have never used Lesley’s services. I have referred many of my own clients to her for different reasons. I have always received glowing comments about how Lesley takes care of her clients and especially how she takes care of the pets she has been put in charge of. We got to know each other working the same area and she is always happy and appreciative in doing what she does. I have used this kennel for several years and I have meant to do a review for quite a while. I love this kennel. They do a great job of keeping my babies and grooming them also. I am extremely picky of where I keep my babies and I would put Man’s Best Friend at the top of the list of the kennels I have used in this area.

Would give 0 stars if it was an option, I used to live in elkin, recently moved, when we took our dog there, she would come back skittish and would get very very sick, a friend of mine said she walked into the business and the man that runs it threw a poodle against a wall cause it was “being mean”, something needs to be done about this business, terrible people

It’s hard to find someone who cares for your pets the way that Mary Ellen & her team do. They are truly treated as if they were their own! I think this speaks as to why her volume is at a place where she cannot take on new pets - This is not a bad problem to have & speaks to how much people trust her with their pets and value her services! I called and the costumer service was terrible. She was very rude and I ask if they were taking any appointments for dog grooming and she said they were not taking any appointments. After asking that, I then asked if they were taking any new costumers in the future she then proceeded to smart off and say “well there are three different groomers in town if you need one.”

Took my dog here while my family and I were out of town for a few days and he had a great experience. Got a bath and nails trimmed as well! The staff is very professional and courteous. Will be taking him back next vacation!

We have been taking our 2yr...old dog 🐕 here! Mary Ellen is so good with him! He loves it when we say he is going to go get his toe nails done! Very good friendly place!! Wouldn't go no where else …

Our very energetic 16 week old puppy Maggie just started at Canine Country last week and she literally does not want to leave when I get there. The second day, she trotted right in and didn’t even look back! She absolutely loves it. We have used other day cares with previous dogs but this is by far the most friendly and attentive staff we have had. Anna and Jordan have done a great job making me feel comfortable with leaving her, and talking through the puppy behaviors and training they can help with. They’ve made sure she has a napping space that doesn’t overwhelm her, and have made sure she has size appropriate friends to play with. With her being young, the fact that they work with her at her own pace is so important! Maggie has left every day so far tired, happy, and excited. Working from home, this has been a game changer for us and for our high energy little pup. Would highly highly recommend!

Somewhat of a personal bias because I worked for this business years and years ago -- but that means I can personally attest to it being worthy of 5 stars. I consider myself very lucky because while working there, I gained enough knowledge to be able to properly groom my dogs at home...but Debbie is the only person I would have trusted to groom them if I wasn't doing it myself. My dogs go on vacation with me, so they have never been boarded. But if I did have to board anywhere, I would feel safe with them at Canine Country. I know the facility, and I know that anyone working there would have my dogs' best interest at heart.

I love this place!! Had to board my 2 pups for a couple days and the staff was amazing and always kept me updated and made me feel a lot better while being away. They also took amazing pics of my pups!! I will 10000% be returning just because this is the only place my dogs are okay to be without me which is a HUGE green flag!!

Best place ever for your fur babies. The staff is excellent. Always friendly and I can’t thank them enough for their service and the love they show my fur baby Zoey. I take my dog to Day Camp once a week and she is completely wore out when I pick her up from all the activities she has participated in that day. Check them out, you won’t regret it.

My furbuddy Kodi absolutely LOVED going to Canine Country! He knew he would be well taken care of and would get to chase balls just like if he were at home. He enjoyed his time there and was excited to see everyone. We knew he would be loved while there and appreciate all the care he received.

Best groomer, daycare, play place, and boarder in town. They have taken care of my puppy for over 4 years, and every time my pet arrives at Canine County, she goes nuts in a positive way. The ladies take excellent care of my puppy. I take my dog there every 3 weeks for a bath and play time, and she gets boarded there anytime we go away. This place is just like family.

We take our German Shepherd to Canine Country once a month for a bath and nail trim. Debbie and her staff do a fantastic job as she always comes home with a slick shiny coat. We have also boarded her before and she was well taken care of.

Love the animals??For starters , our dog was groomed here for 5 years plus , every 6 wks. Then there was, this is the last time you can bring your dog because of "getting old" . How about another option, nope..Thats just SORRY. Now i wonder if this small dog was safe while there. I guess when you run your own business, you can pick and choose your customers.. We trust you with our furbabies and you kick them out of the rotation when there's a better option..

Fantastic Kennel! Our dogs love coming here - the owner and staff are fantastic. You can choose interaction, they are very accommodating if you have special needs, and we choose to have our dogs play with the others a few times while we board our dogs and they have a blast. We never worry about our pets now when we are away, and the facility is very clean and the staff are super friendly. I can't recommend Canine Country enough!

Woofpack is our go-to dog training service. Melissa has been very helpful in assisting us to help our energetic chocolate lab to become a sweet, well behaved dog. Our dog is going through the process of becoming a certified therapy dog. When we adopted a new dog, Melissa was very helpful with some new training challenges before we were able to get our puppy into training. We were also very pleased with boarding services. Our dogs were treated like royalty and had a fabulous time.

Melissa and her team are amazing in all that they do, I can’t recommend them highly enough! I’ve done several training classes with her, enrolled my pup in daycare, and been able to board him several times with peace of mind that he’s being treated as well as if he were home with me. He loves daycare days and always comes home tired and happy. Great customer service, caring and attentive staff, and a clean and safe facility. 10/10, this business is a true gem.

Wolfpack and Melissa have been extremely helpful with my fearful dog. He had his puppy training, day care, overnight care and most recently one on one help to deal with issues. I highly recommend them. You will not find a more caring knowledgeable place.

My dog, Missy, and cat, Sunny, both stayed at Woof Pack for a week while we were on vacation. Usually we take Missy with us and someone cares for Sunny while we're away, but we were unable to do that this time. We decided on Woof Pack after getting glowing references from several people. This place is like a luxury hotel for your pets! Individual rooms for your dog and individual multi level "condos" for your cat. There's tv for them as well as music. They have generous outdoor space as well. Missy is very scared of thunder and a storm occurred during her stay. Melissa (the owner) stayed up with her til 2am to calm and reassure her! I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen elsewhere. This will be our go to from now on when we can't take our pets with us. I like knowing someone else will put that much effort into their well being.

Melissa Helms of Woof Pack Pet Services is like the dog whisperer of Boone, NC. Her place is the nicest dog boarding facility I've ever seen, and Melissa's passion for her dogs and her work shines through the moment you meet her. I highly recommend Woof Pack for dog boarding, and I recommend their dog training classes as well.

I love my dog and he goes pretty much everywhere with me, including work (he’s the greeter). Sometimes though, my wife and I take a trip and have to leave him behind for one reason or another. Woof Pack is the only boarding facility we’d leave him with and I have 100% confidence in their service and professionalism. This place has high demand (because they are so good) so planning and booking well ahead of time is advised.

Having moved to Boone 6 years ago, I was relived to find Woofpack and now consider it part of our family. My two dogs are excited to arrive and come home relaxed and happy after spending time with the kind, caring, professional staff. What a gift to our community and to my family!

Melissa's varied experience with training "typically-abled" dogs and "differently-abled" dogs (her personal pack includes several visually and/or aurally impaired dogs) means she can suggest training options for any dog of any background. We've completed three sets of classes with our pup and can't wait to do more; my parents have worked with Melissa in private sessions to address the reactivity and behavioral issues of their latest rescue, a German Shepherd dog, and the progress they've made with Melissa's assistance is remarkable. I highly recommend Woof Pack for anyone and any dog!

Very unprofessional. When we were finally able to get a hold of the owner, she said she was busy and would call us back that Sunday. It has been two weeks and messages left with no return phone calls. We needed help with our beloved dog and was looking forward to working with someone with her listed creditials but she only returned our call once just to say she would call back and never did. Not a way to run a business.

Woof Pack is the ONLY place I trust to leave my dogs. My dogs are my babies and even though I hate to leave them at all, I can, knowing they are completely well taken care of.

With short notice, Kim was able to fit our pet sitting needs into her schedule. She is very professional, personable and knowledgeable. We felt at ease leaving our kitties in her hands while we were gone. She made it possible for us to go away without stressing about the fur babies! There were detailed reports and pictures after every visit. She worked different methods to get one stubborn cat to take his medication. Plenty of play time was had after food, water, liter box, etc. Everything was done! Kim's services are well worth her rates. We will recommend her and use her services again.

Kim was wonderful caregiver to our 2 dogs. She is dependable which put us at ease knowing someone was going to show up. Recently moved to NC from out of state. We needed to hire a pet sitter for an upcoming trip, and of course it can be stressful to figure out who to hire based on a search on Google. Especially when you're new to an area and don't know many people yet. I settled on Kim based on her excellent reviews. There is a reason that Kim is highly recommended. I NEVER wondered if my cats were ok while we were gone. Not once. Kim sent us reports via an app called Time to Pet for every visit made to our home, including photos and what she did for them during the visit. The app is insanely easy to use and I really like that it's a one stop shop for booking, payment, communication, etc. She is a true professional and excellent at what she does. If you're currently looking for someone to take great care of your pets and home while on vacation, the search should end here. She truly is wonderful!

If you are looking for a very reliable person to take care of your pets look no further. Kim is the absolute best. She really cares about what she does and the animals she cares for. She stays in touch with her community of people that use her pet sitting service. Honest, reliable and knows how important it is that pet parents feel very secure and happy the pet kiddos are cared for the best.

My pups have loved spending time with Jessica at Happy Paws. I recently moved back to the area, and needed to find a good doggy day care. My pups are rescues with a history some anxiety at times. Jessica has been wonderful about making them feel understood & comfortable. I can see how happy they are when they realize we are back at Happy Paws to play. It’s invaluable to have such a great place for my fur babies.

I travel a lot with my dogs so I always have to find a good place for them to stay while I do my own thing. Happy Paws is the perfect place to keep your loved pets if you want them enjoy your vacation as much as you do, if not more! They are very reasonably priced and they work hard to make your dogs enjoy their stay. I always hate boarding dogs at kennels that charge extra for more play time but Happy Paws seems to make sure that your dogs get plenty of exercise with other dogs. The owners are very friendly and they do a great job of accommodating to your dogs' needs. I picked up my puppies in the morning, and they were already wiped out from running around before I came over. That's the way it should be! They even told me the issues that may have occurred (my dogs are friendly but one of mine tend to try to show dominance once in a while and they told me about those times. It wasn't a major problem but it's nice to know the owners are honest about that) As long as your pups are friendly and good with playing, then you need to check out this place. The owners treat your pups as if they are one of their own, and you can't ask for better than that. If you are in the area and need want your fur kids to have an awesome vacation while you're away, definitely check this place out. One of the best boarding experiences I've ever had. Thank you!

I cannot speak highly enough of Jessica and Dustin and their loving care they give to the dogs. I had a special one, fearful of people , never boarded except at a womans house who could no longer handle his energy due to her age. Jessica worked very, very, very hard with my guy and now he even gives her a kiss!!! Her kennel/home is very clean with lots of room for the dogs to play. She goes the extra mile to protect all the dogs, and is sure they are compatible before allowing them out to run and play. I am eternally grateful that she took my guy on and now if I need to leave town I know he will be happy. It's just he and I and I want him to be well cared for. She takes care of the dogs as if they were her own. I believe her background in wildlife rehabilitation helps her really understand them. Your simply the best!!!!!

We used Happy Paws to board our dogs for almost a week when we got married and are so glad we did! We have two dogs and they were able to be boarded together with some home comforts such as toys that we bought! Our dogs were in such good hands, and we received daily updates! That was such a nice extra that helped this boarding facility stand out among the rest! Happy Paws will be our go to boarding from now on! Not mention both dogs came home smelling great from the bath at the end of the week! Our pug and corgi gave their stay 4 paws up!!

I am very particular about who I leave my dogs with. Dustin and Jessie are big animal lovers to not just their own dogs but other dogs well. My dogs had a great visit at Happy Paws and I will not hesitate to take them back next time I’m out of town. I highly recommend the Happy Paws Dog Den. They will love your babies just as you do!

Happy Paws is a great place to board dogs! Our two anxious dogs love it there. Jessica really understands dog behavior and how to make every dog feel welcome and comfortable. We have used many dog boarding facilities and Happy Paws is the best.

Highly recommend this dog care facility for that other member of family. We have kept our dog with them for many months. We have seen wonderful improvement in our dog socially as the owners carefully match dog personalities, and work with each one's situation. Jessie, the co-owner with her husband Dustin have recently gone to great lengths to expand their facility while raising the bar of care for all the dogs that stay with them. Between them they have many years of dog care service, in both a veterinarian and short/long term dog stay care facility. Give them a shot with your pet...you won't be sorry.

We really prefer to take our guys along but sometimesthat just can't be done. This past weekend we attended an out of state wedding and left our dogs with Jess and Dustin. I never worried about their care, got regular updates and came back to happy dogs! Happy paws dog den is perfect with spacious clean facility, kennels like mini bedrooms, big hilly yard (just what they are used to) and lots of features to keep our guys safe and happy. We will definitely use them again.

When I drop my pup at Holly's, it feels like he is spending the day with his aunt. The process of signing up, dropping off, and picking up is seamless. She provides the cutest report card at the end of each day and shares so many pictures throughout the day. I LOVE how calm she is and how all the pups wander around, sleep, and play as if they truly all lived together. This is incredible knowing his days are so fun and treated as though I was with him!

Holly was so patient and kind with our nervous dog, Dottie, and with Dottie's nervous handlers (me and my partner). Dottie had never been in a group boarding situation quite like this, but Holly walked me through the extensive temperament testing process and integration into her home with an incredible amount of detail in care. The updates were absolutely stellar, and came with photos, so I was able to relax and not worry during the whole process! Holly's skill with handling a nervous dog was amazing (Dottie is a Velcro dog who does not like it when we board her), and I am so grateful we have such a safe place to board where Dottie also can hang out with other dogs for play and enrichment! 10/10 recommend. If we lived nearby, we would 100% be signing up for daycare.

Holly is the best! Our pup loves going to Holly’s and always has the best time. We’ve done daycare and overnight and Holly always sends us updates and pictures on how our pup is doing and a report card at the end. I think it might be our pup’s favorite place to be! She also takes the best action shots of our pup 😂. We also love that Holly’s is never overcrowded as we’ve had issues with taking our pup to a place that had too many dogs. Would highly recommend!

Holly’s is one of the best places in the area to keep your dog. Leo has been going since he was a puppy and he always comes home tired and fulfilled. I love getting the daily texts with photos of my Leo to see what a wonderful day he’s having! Holly is so flexible and accommodating in so many ways. Highly recommended!!

We've been leaving our dog in Holly's Care since 2021! He loves going to her house, knowing he's going to be playing with all his best friends while we travel for work. Holly's communication is second to none with consistent photo updates, pick up/drop off confirmations, and she's always been super flexible with us when our travel plans get changed due to weather and delays. We're very grateful that we've found someone who takes care of our pup the way we do at home!

I’ve been using Holly’s dog sitting service for daycare and boarding for my 2-year-old lab, and recently started boarding my 5-month-old lab too. Both dogs absolutely love going there and always come home happy and tired. Unlike traditional kennels where dogs are crated most of the time or placed in large groups, Holly's place feels like a second home for them. It’s far less disruptive to their routine, and they get the perfect mix of play, rest, and attention. Even though it’s a bit of a drive out of metro Charlotte, it’s 100% worth it. Holly’s rates are super reasonable, and her communication and flexibility are fantastic. She’s always accommodating, and I’ve rarely run into any issues with availability. I also really appreciate the frequent updates and pictures of my pups, which always put me at ease. I can’t recommend her enough—this is the best dog care service I’ve found!

Trigger is very happy going to Holly’s and playing with her dog and other pups visiting. She takes great care of him and he’s quite at home on her sofa. Nice backyard with a play pool. Holly is excellent with previously abused pups like Trigger.

Holly was excellent and very caring with our puppy! We are nervous new puppy parents and needed care for a few hours which would have been the longest we would have gone since getting her. After much research on our options, Holly handled all our concerns with her thoroughness and vaccination records of all the dogs she cares for. Her home was a great place for our dog and Holly was very communicative before and during the stay. Not only is she very knowledgeable, but just as importantly, she is kind and clearly loves the pets she has in her charge!

My little girl totally loves this place. She's been going to Paw Tales for day care well over a year and can't wait to go each day. All I have to do is ask her is are you going to school today and she goes crazy. When she drags you in the door each morning you know she enjoys her stay and loves the wonderful people that works there. I appreciate this place and the staff for loving our Wild Child Lily.

I took my corgi in May to this resort. Based on pictures online and my general first impressions when entering the building to leave my fur baby for an extended weekend, I thought I was leaving him in good hands. That was not the case. I booked a luxury room with a camera so I could check on him through out my absence. I paid extra for doggie daycare or playtime and interaction. I brought all of his food prepackaged and separated by AM/PM. I left feeling good about leaving him. I got to my destination and checked on him and it appeared he was tucked away for the evening as I thought he would be. The next morning I checked again and through out that day and there was little to no change. He was in his “cell” and had not left. Panting and anxious. He did have food and water but I noticed through his stay, the food didn’t change. I know this because of the placement of a treat on top of his food. I can promise you, I looked in on him 40-50 times a day. Nothing changed. I never saw him out of his “cell” I never saw a change in his food, I never saw a person with him or any kind of sign that made me feel like he was being taken care of and loved. Was he safe? Yes, he was inside, in the AC and not in danger. That’s about all I can say from this resort is they kept him safe. When I checked on him the morning I was to pick him up, I finally noticed his food changed. Mind you, I picked him up 3days after I dropped him off. I told resort what I noticed and saw on the live footage, I also asked questions as to why? Why was he treated like this? Can anyone confirm differences in what I witnessed. They had no answers. No one could say the took him out and played with him. No one could say he ate or that they even tried. When I took my baby home and went through his bag or supplies- all of the food I packed was gone! Where did 6bags of food go?!! He did not eat it sooooo what happened to it?! Anyhow, this was a long review but I wanted to give the story of what I experienced. Don’t judge a book by the cover. This lace is super fancy but I wouldn’t take any kind of animal to the resort if it was my last option.

Everytime I go just to get my dogs nails trimmed they have changed the price from $10 to $12,$15,now $18.I always get her groomed which is $55 I can't get her groomed every month like I would like get paid monthly.Have always been pleased with them.Would recommend anyone to take their dog.

I have found someone that knows how to groom a large dog and actually listen to your requests. Brianna knows Golden Retrievers and gave my cream a perfect cut. She sat on the floor with us when I dropped him off to listen to my specific requests and not only followed them but suggested other grooming ideas. The area is not crowded like many others and they even allowed him to go play until they were ready for him. Unlike another big groomer in Hickory, he was not made to sit in a kennel all day. This groomer and Paw Tales are the the BEST. Thank you Brianna!

It is difficult to find anyone that will groom cats locally, and I have two Himalayans who's coats will get matted as they will deter brushing. I have used Paw Tales numerous times to get them groomed without sedation. I understand how difficult it is to groom a cat and for the cost it is well worth it. They do a marvelous job and in a timely matter. If you're a feline owner and need help with with a matted coat I highly recommend Paw Tales 😻

Paw Tales has a great staff and facility. We have boarded there twice and also visited doggy daycare where the staff have been working to socialize our dog. Everyone has been so professional, kind and knowledgeable from the time you walk in the door to when you pick your fur baby back up. My boys love going to get trimmed at Paw Tales Lodge & Spa! They are trimmed perfectly as directed every time.

There are many places that will board your dog for the day. Most of that time, they will be kept in a crate or other confined space. Well, not at Paw Tales. When you leave your dog at Paw Tales for the day, they get to engage in fun play with other dogs ALL DAY LONG. My dog, Sadie, loves this place. All I have to do is say the phrase “doggy day care” and she gets crazy excited. And she comes home worn out because she has been playing all day. Sadie loves being with other dogs, but she’s our only pet. So this is an awesome way to give her the social time she loves.

Bark and Purr Pet Sitting is the best! They’re so friendly and wonderful with our pets and I’ve been really happy to have someone I can trust to care for them while I’m gone. I think my kitties look forward to my trips now lol 😝 Thank you so much! …

We were extremely happy with the care our three beagles received while we were away on vacation for 10 days. I loved that after each visit they sent photos and a summary. I was REALLY nervous leaving our fur babies with a new service after having the same pet sitter for many years, but after seeing how well things went after the first couple of days, I was able to really relax knowing that my trio was in good hands and well cared for.
