Due to a family emergency, I had to leave the country earlier than I had planned, and needed a sitter to fill in the gap between my departure and another sitter. Michele responded within minutes of my posting the sit, and then we spoke and confirmed the sit within hours. Her husband, Israel, was coming from Mexico to France, while she and her kids were to come from Sweden. When Michele’s travel plans changed, and she wouldn’t be able to come with her children, she assured me that Israel would still come to look after the house and dogs. To do this, for a stay of only five days, he flew to Paris, and then to the south of France, where he rented a car and drove the rest of the way to my place. As I was already traveling, the previous sitters filled him in on the various things that needed to be tended to: caring for two dogs, tending to hens, watering 90 young olive trees daily, as well as other things. The place is big and it took me 3-4 weeks when I first moved in to figure out where things were and what to do. Israel mastered everything upon his arrival, sent me daily updates with photos of my two VERY happy dogs. In addition to all the upkeep, he managed to hike with the dogs daily. I arrived home to find everything perfectly maintained, two fit and and Israel’s guest house cleaner than it was when he arrived. Immaculate. I cannot even express my gratitude for to both Michele and Israel for such a sacrifice and commitment to do that for me. It was a very difficult time, as I was dealing with the loss of both my son and my mother. I did not worry for one second while my dogs and home were in Israel’s hands. Thank you both, so, so much. You’re welcome back anytime, with the entire family, even just for a visit, maybe just a well-deserved holiday, with no dog- or house- sitting!
Natalie took great care of it dog and cats! She was clean, organized, conscientious, and communicative. Our dog had a small cut on his foot and Natalie took great care to help him heal. I would highly recommend Natalie as a house sitter and pet sitter!
This was our first house/pet sit with @zeewoi and we were extremely pleased! Robert showed up when he said he would, he accommodated our timelines and our dog's scheduled routine. He left our home in excellent shape and we had a very happy, relaxed pup to come home to. It was important to us that Robert meet us via video chat or in person before we left and he went above and beyond. He sent photos of our dog, Cooper, and him throughout the sit and we could tell that Cooper was very happy with Robert. He responded immediately to our texts, giving him updates about our return. Communication is so important for making sure both the sitter and the house owners are confident in one another. Robert is very outgoing and friendly and we have 100% confidence in him to look after our home and our dog when we are away. We look forward to Robert providing another future home sit.
Joe and Casey were very easy going and reliable. We organised the sit way in advance with a video chat and we had adequate communication leading up to the sit. We handed over the house and animals after a fairly swift explanation of everything. Being experienced sitters Joe and Casey didn't need us to over explain anything (hopefully they felt the same) and we could see very quickly that they were animal lovers. They asked us how much communication we needed whilst away and we said "no news is good news". So we received just the right amount of updates along with the most adorable photos and reassuring words about all the animals. It was clear that they quickly understood the character of each of the animals. We forgot to mention that Tipper likes to dig dirt beds around the garden which creates quite a mess and it was obvious that these were kept under control. The garden and pool were well cared for. We enjoyed a relaxing couple of weeks away knowing that the animals were being loved and the dogs definitely looked for Joe and Casey when we arrived home. Our pets, home and garden were well respected and cared for and we would not hesitate to invite Joe and Casey to sit for us again.
Ryan was one of our best sitters we’ve had! Ryan is so lovely to chat with and we looked forward to meeting him before our trip. He was organized and communicated his plans clearly with us and was easy to communicate with while we were away. Our dog took to him immediately and so we knew we could relax while away. Our home was in great shape when we returned and it was nice to get a debrief from him as well. We’d love to have Ryan back anytime, and so would Steve (our dog)!
Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. We would have them sit for us again in a heartbeat!
Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.
Care and compassion for my dogs was at the top of the list of John's attributes. He was the first sitter I have used through zeewoi that was close enough to come meet the dogs before the sit. John not only came for an initial meet and greet, but he made time to meet the pups a second time prior to my departure to better familiarize himself with both the dogs and my home. Having put the fear of God in him about Penny's reactivity (I might have been a bit over the top, but better more attentive than less!), he was cautious with her in the beginning. Later in the sit, they trooped off to the beach on multiple occasions - all good! My 10-yr-old was on some meds for a serious battle with arthritis, and John managed Cooper's needs beautifully. John even made a call and a trip to the vet to re-up Coop's prescription when it was clear he needed to continue the protocol. I received daily updates by text, including photos and video; communication is hugely important to me. I feel blessed to have had John care for my fur-babies.
Amara was a WONDERFUL sitter for our home and our dogs for the weekend. We were so comfortable with her being in our home, and she provided regular updates and photos of our babies. The house was clean upon arrival home - we would have no hesitation recommending her to others and hope she would consider coming back to spend more time with our dogs!
Oh my Goodness! Where to begin. Linda was the perfect house sitter for us and the perfect pet sitter for Olivia! She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. When we returned from out two week vacation all our plants were alive, the garden was alive, the birds and fish had been fed regularly, and the dog was alive and happy! What more can you ask for, right? Well with Linda you get all that and more. Updates as you request - even videos of her morning walks with Olivia. The house as spotless as we left it, maybe even better! Even the porches were clean! Linda is a genuine treasure and our recommendation would be 10 stars if there were that many!!

I left my cat, Hazel, with them for the week as my normal boarder had a waitlist for the holidays and my trip was very last minute. I can tell there’s a love and passion for these pets and I’m so glad I went with them! I didn’t have to worry about my baby at all my entire trip and I even got pictures and was told how good she was being! My cat was definitely spoiled while she was here and got one on one attention. This is a place where your pets are treated like family and I fully recommend boarding them here. It does NOT disappoint.
My wife and I was driving to Destin from Ohio and searched for a place to take our dog Remi on our way down and stumbled upon this place by searching google. I am glad I found them as this place is amazing. They truly treated Remi as if she was one of their children and they were very perticular about the care they gave to all of the animals there. You can tell they truly enjoy running the place. We will definitely go out of our way in the future to make sure they are the ones keeping Remi while we vacation in Florida. Also, the cost was very cheap and Remi left with a goodie bag that definitely helped on our trip home.
I Love Lucy Place is a small facility with one on one care and attention. Offering short and long term boarding.
Best place ever for my puppy. Lots of attention and places to run and play. Thank you!
I love bringing my girls here, and they love it too! Teresa is wonderful and I can tell she is a dog lover just like me. She takes excellent care of them and will sit with them in the kennel to watch and keep them company. We have left our two girls with her twice already and if we ever travel without them again we will definitely come back. I won’t even bother trying another boarding service!
Hands down the best pet boarding place I have seen! I've lived in many different cities, so I've seen a good share of places. If you want your "furbaby" to receive custom personalized care, look no further than I Love Lucy Place! Teresa has a profound love for animals. You will not be disappointed.
I was desperate when I contacted Teresa, I have a 9 month old lab that went into her first heat, I also have an 11 year old Saint Bernard, Mastiff mix that is not neutered. My old boy was about to go bonkers. Howling and crying constantly. Teresa took my puppy, in heat, and took care of her very last minute. I was so grateful. I think Maggie had a great time and Teresa always responded when I would check on her. Hands down best boarding experience ever!
I love Lucy place in in the middle of my daily route at work. Though I've never used there service there are many good things i can say about these folks. Everytime i come through here they are always so friendly and caring. They make sure i jave something to drink or just a short conversation. Either way they are so involved. I personally would trust them with my animals safe and well being.
This is my mother's place of business. Or what she would consider her time with the pals. She is such an animal lover you can instantly tell where her heart is. This woman is far most the best I've ever met and if I'm half the woman she is today when I grow up I will be satisfied. I love you, Mom. Need anything painted??
Best dog kennel ever! Our dogs were taken great care of. Actually, I think they got spoiled. Lol. I highly recommend this kennel.
I can’t recommend bed n biscuit inn enough! Taylor and Brad are so good with our two dogs! We have consistently been boarding them here since we moved to FL last November - they have watched our pups for short amounts of time and also while we were abroad for 2 weeks. They are very quick to respond and are flexible. Highly recommend if you have two spoiled dogs like ours!
My dog, Koda, LOVES staying at Bed n Biscuit Inn! Taylor provides text updates and pictures throughout his stay which eases all my worries about leaving him. There are some dogs that Koda just doesn’t get along with very well but because of both Taylor and Brad’s knowledge and experience dealing with all different types of dogs, we’ve never had any issues. Their dogs, Nala and Max are also really great with all the other dogs and give off a good pack vibe.
We were traveling and needed to board our small dog for a couple nights while we had some activities in the area that we could not take our pet to. This was the perfect place for our little Joy, and she was able to interact with big and little dogs in a safe environment. The pictures/videos we received gave us comfort that Joy was happy. We would highly recommend this place!
Bone Bangles has cared for my dogs as if they were their own. They are reasonably priced, organized, spotless, kind, and have been willing to board our dogs at the last minute. They are so flexible about drop off and pick up time. We are grateful to have found them. Great family business!
Bone Bangles is the only place I will leave my baby!! It is a home away from home. I work from home so my Charlie Bear is with me all the time. The first time I went away I was so nervous to leave him and Cindee was amazing. She keeps me updated and sends pictures and videos. He plays and runs and eats all his food while I am away. This makes me feel so happy and lets me know he feels safe. Cindee loves all the dogs as they are her own. The set up for boarding is awesome. The dogs have lots of room to run and play and they are not cooped up in a small kennel. I love that I can go on vacation and not have to stress about my baby. The whole family are amazing people and care about you and your fur babies. Book with Cindee and you will never take your babies anywhere else ❤️
I have been using Bone Bangles around 2 years now and every experience has been phenomenal! My male dog has bad separation anxiety but LOVES coming to see Cindee! I always say “it is like going to Grandma’s house” because she spoils all of the dogs in her care! I recently adopted a female puppy that she was fostering and she has been more than willing to help me navigate the puppy stage all over again! I have seen this faculty bend over backwards to care for dogs not only in their facility but also long term shelter dogs that need a home, sick puppies that have been dumped in the woods, pregnant females who are due any day, and the puppies once they are born! Her character speaks volumes!
Called to make reservations for our 2 dogs and Cindee is rude as hell! I will never board my dogs there. In response to the owner below, You told me that y'all require bordetella every 6 months, correct? My dogs didn't need it done until August 18th and we would have been picking up on the 5th. Now, I understand that's close to the date and I would have had no problem taking them to have it done prior to booking with you. That wasn't my cause for the review. It was your rude and condescending attitude. It was completely necessary and unprofessional.
Cindy and the Bone Bangles team are amazing with our moody and very high energy husky! They make her feel at home and she howls with happiness as she approaches the neighborhood 😊 …
I brought my new little rescue dog Piper here for quite a long stay (29 days!) as I had two back to back trips scheduled prior to adopting her. I was stressed out about where to take her until I heard about and visited Bone Bangles. All I can say is that they took care of my little girl as if she were their own. When I called to check in on her Cindy took her time to give me detailed information about how her stay was going and that really put my mind at ease when I was so far from home. Piper had a lot of fun playing and relaxing but I appreciated so much knowing that she was safe and well cared for. I will definitely bring my dog back to Bone Bangles when I have to go out of town in the future!
I have boarded my pups with Cindee a handful of times now and every experience has been great. She is excellent at working with me on picking up even at later times when plans to come home were delayed. The dogs seem to have a lot of fun and my female has even opened up and learned how to play with others. My male is high maintenance with medical issues that require extra attention and care, and she is absolutely fabulous with making sure he is well taken care of. Cindee is great and make sure the dogs get what they need.
Amazing people. They treat your animals like you would treat them if not better. It was like a breath of fresh air when I found them and could go to work without any worries. My fur baby also loves going every morning I drop him off.
We recently boarded our six dogs at Bone Bangles for two weeks while we traveled overseas. Simply put, it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Our dogs are used to having space to run and play. So, there's no way we would consider putting them in a standard jail-like kennel. The challenge was to find a professional boarding facility that offered what we were searching for. Bone Bangles was it... When we first arrived, I was given a full tour of the facility while my wife checked the dogs in. They have a well thought out facility that gives the dogs plenty of space while making safety the priority. Dogs were not just mixed altogether and let to run amok, like some other places I've seen. Our two groups, large and small dogs, were given their own space to play and sleep. The owners, who have also managed a working farm, described the philosophy of their boarding system in detail. I was impressed and we left without a worry. Upon return, our dogs were happy and healthy. Zero issues. We've never left them at any kennel before without something happening. Typically some behavioral change, weight loss, etc., but not at Bone Bangles. All good. I am so glad we found this place.
Just Went on a 5 day vacation, and returned to pick up my Beagle. Although it’s nerve wrecking to leave your fur baby with someone you’ve only spoken to a few times, the owner left me no doubt! She was very kind, patient and very understanding. I came back and my dog was as happy as can be! I called midweek and she gave me all the great news that my fur baby was up to! She went out of her way and even washed my dogs bedding that I left with her to make her feel at home! I will never try a different place, my dog got to play, make friends and stay with a loving owner who loves what she does.
Great home away from home for MoJo. Every camp counselor who I've had interactions with has been professional, courteous, respectful, and engaging. I like that there are cameras in the playrooms, and I can peek in to see how my dog is communicating with other dogs and the counselors' interactions with the animals. They have been a good addition to helping socialize my puppy.
My pup loves Camp Bow Wow! She always looks forward to going and gets very excited when she sees the building. I love that I can watch her on the camera throughout the day and I know she’s being taken care of.
We love Camp Bow Wow Pensacola! During the interview process, they gradually introduce your dog to the staff as well as the other dogs at the camp to make sure they play well with others. The staff is always friendly and really seem to love dogs. They monitor the dogs the entire time they are in the play yards. My favorite thing is the cameras. I am able to see how Rupert is doing at any time by logging into the app! The grooming services are exceptional! I love that I am able to leave a member of the family in the hands of people I can trust.
It's pretty easy to get a booking and the kids all seem to enjoy being with the dogs. They're good about making sure that the dogs are dog friendly before adding them to the "pile" so to speak. My dog has black nails which are more difficult to trim, but they do a great job with them!
Camp Bow Wow is amazing! It’s clean and all the staff love their job and it shows. As soon as I walked in I got greeted and they did a good job explaining everything to me. You can tell all the staff are animal lovers and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in their care!
We've had our pit bill mix at this place multiple times with no incident. Last weekend, Jethro spent the night at this place. A few hours later, we received a call that Jethro was involved in 3 different incidents with different dogs. Eventually, they told us they had to pen Jethro due to his violent behavior. We picked him up the next morning and spent the following week inquiring about the incidents to see what happened. It took over a week to get a call back. We finally get to talk to the owner and she only provides one video of Jethro and another dog. Both dogs were waiving their tails as if they were being more playful for 2 bigger dogs. When asked about the other incidents, the OWNER said she didn't have access to the other videos and didn't provide them. Dishonest and unprofessional!
Buddy attended Camp Bow Wow while on vacation and had a great time. They might have smaller yards than other camps but he had a good time and enjoyed checking on him when I could (service issues when at the air show).
I’ve been taking my Pitbull mix here for a year and a half. I always get great reviews about how good and sweet he is. This dog has NEVER been aggressive I recently took him here for an overnight stay and I was called that evening and told he had attacked 3 dogs on 3 occasions and was penned and wrote up for it. For over a week I requested to see the video and got no contact. Finally a week later one of the owners contacted me and said I could come in and view the footage. I went in and was provided with footage that included about a 3 second interaction with my dog and ONE other dog where they were both wagging their tails and biting at each other’s faces like big dogs do. No injuries and when they were sprayed they parted and that was it. There was no way to tell in the video who the initiator was…I watched it 4 times. My dog was continually blamed as the initiator and when I asked to see the footage of the 3 incidents with 3 dogs multiple times I was told it most likely existed but she didn’t have access to it. I will never take my dog back and would leave zero stars if it were possible.
Love this place! I dropped off my dog for his first interview and I knew he would be safe and loved while he was there! The staff are so friendly and the facility is very clean and cozy!
My 3 star review has more to do with what kind of facility this is (and it’s handlers) than my dogs’ treatment - which was fine with one exception. See below. If you’re looking for a place to exercise (wear out) your dogs with indoor continuous walking in circles for hours with little unstructured socialization or outside play, this is the place for you. If you have a big dog who likes to rough house and there are no other comparable sized dogs present, this is not the place for you. If your dogs are tired due to early morning run and just need a quiet place to crash (for day care), this is not the place for you. I also recommend handlers be trained or made aware of when a dog is extremely thirsty. While I have no concrete evidence of this, I think my big dog was denied admission because he’s an American Bully. From the online reviews re injured dogs, I think the philosophy here is to not admit Bullies or dogs that “appear” intimidating. If you have one, this may not be the place for you.
We recently hired Paws and Claws to stay with our 3 poodles, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional care our pups received. Jeff’s professionalism and care for our kids truly shone through. From the moment Jeff arrived, the pups seemed at ease and comfortable. It was evident he took the time to bond with the poodles and create a positive environment. Communication was a breeze, with Jeff providing updates and photos throughout the week, offering us peace of mind. Not only did Jeff attend to the basic needs of our pups, such as feeding and bathroom breaks, but he also engaged in playtime and downtime on the couch, ensuring all three felt loved and cared for. We appreciated the extra effort to maintain our pets’ routines, making the overnight stay a seamless experience. One of the standout qualities was Jeff’s attention to detail. We have a senior dog that requires several medications and he followed all instructions meticulously, demonstrating a genuine concern for Noah’s well-being. We highly recommend Paws and Claws for anyone in need of a reliable and caring puppy sitter. The peace of mind knowing our pups were in such capable hands is invaluable. We have already booked Jeff to stay with the poodles for our next vacation. We are confident others will find Paws and Claws to be an exceptional choice
Jeff and Donna are the best! We have used them several times for week long vacations and always pleased. I am very picky and protective of who I trust with my 3 dogs but also to stay in my home. My 3 dogs are so comfortable with Jeff and love when he comes to stay! :) I always get pictures while I'm away which I love - puts my heart at ease! If you are in need of a pet sitter I would definitely recommend reaching out to Paws N Claws Pet Sitters!
Jeff stayed at our home to care for our 3 dogs, during a recent vacation. We loved the updates on our pups while we were out. Also, one of our dogs was not so into eating and Jeff went above and beyond to get him to have his meals. We highly recommend Jeff and Donna and have plans to use them again!
Jeff and Donna have been our go to pet sitters in Richardson Texas and now in Florida. We trust them completely with our two dogs. We just got back from ten days out of state, and when we walked in, we found our dogs were happy and healthy and excited to see us. They quickly calmed down and treated us like we hadn't been away! Clearly, they received great care. Highly recommended.
We absolutely loved Paws n Claws. They took amazing care of our fur babies and went above and beyond. We received photo updates of the pups which made our trip more enjoyable knowing that they were in such great hands. They even gave my dog his antibiotics while we were away. I would definitely recommend Paws n Claws (Jeff and Donna) to anyone and plan on using them again in the future. They are very responsible, kind, and you can tell that they have a love for animals right when meeting them. Also, their prices are extremely reasonable!
I cannot say enough about the quality of their work. Jeff and Donna both came to visit prior to us using them the first time for an overnight sitting. Our dog had no issues with them and that is always a good sign. They are very quick to respond, thorough, and easy to work with. They were very attentive to our pets needs (which aren't much) but still no issues. We have recently used their services again on a multi day trip. Zero issues, good communication, updates multiple times per day. They will continue to be our "go to" folks when we need someone to step in and take care of our dog when we cannot take him along. GO BIG RED!!!
Jeff and Donna are the best! We have two Chihuahuas that require very precise care and they handle them beautifully! Every time we leave town or just need some extra care during the day they are available and professional. Our fur babies love them and I can’t recommend them highly enough!
Since moving to Gulf Breeze, Florida, we were thrilled to find Paws N Claws Pet Sitters. Jeff and Donna do a wonderful job with our two fur babies. They are punctual, dependable, flexible and so easy to work with. Our pups are so much happier staying at home, and we are happier knowing they are receiving excellent care. Thank you Paws N Claws!
We have two airedale terriers who do not like to be kenneled. We used Jeff and Donna several times over the holidays.and our dogs loved them. The dogs were not stressed at all. We appreciated the daily texts updating us on our fur babies. We will definitely be repeat customers.
Our little Morkie, Sadie, loves Donna and Jeff. They treat Sadie like she is one of their own. They have been taking care of her for the past 1 1/2 years. They’re the only ones we allow to take care of our baby. We highly recommend them!
We have boarded our dog there multiple times and he has been well taken care of every time. The staff is friendly and caring. They provide food and treats if none are sent with your pet. I usually send a blanket as my dog likes to burrow under it. Any bedding sent is laundered and fresh smelling when you pick up your pup. I would definitely recommend them!
I use this place for my American Bulldog often. He loves staying there and the people always spend time loving on him. It makes me happy when I hear this because normally he’s nervous around people but he always warms up so quickly to them and they always tell me about how good he’s been and that they all just love giving him lovings. Highly recommended
Horrible place. I got the presidential suite for my chiweenie. He's a little scared to new people I informed them of this. Got the room for 3 days and he was only taken out once. Then I go to pick him up and he smells horrible laying in a soaking wet blanket, the staff informed me had a accident. A accident they obviously didn't clean up or bath him!!!! Never will go back to this place! He was so scared shaking. I called repeatedly to check on him and they said everything is fine.
Three took such good care of my sweet doggies, Roscoe and Bailey. Roscoe is an older one and they were patient with all my questions as we never hoard him. Bailey is a frequent flyer and she seems to really enjoy her stay(: Everyone is very professional and kind.
I was very reluctant on boarding my two Golden Retrievers because they've always traveled with us and have never been boarded but Spanish Trail made me feel at ease. We arrived during their faculty meeting and they still opened the door for us (something they definitely didn't have to do). The staff was very friendly and patient with our pups....and our pups weren't exactly willing to cooperate. We started in the Junior Suite and moved to the Luxury Suite the following day. When we picked them up, they were happy and the staff gave us all of our blankets, food & toys we brought them. Our pups smelled great and it looked as though they were recently brushed. One thing to keep in mind, when you pick them up on a Sunday, make sure to press the buzzer rather than knock. They told us this but we forgot. 🤦 Very pleased with this place and their staff. THANK YOU for everything Spanish Trail!
I boarded my dog here while my family and I vacationed in Pensacola beach for a week. I got the web cam room halfway thru the week because I have never been away from my dog for an extended period of time because he has horrible separation anxiety. They only took him out 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening (i literally kept the web cam up 24/7 and if i didn’t my dad did). They told me the only way he would get more time outside is if i paid for it. I already paid $384 JUST for the boarding all together! We will not be back here to board him ever again. It is overpriced just for my dog to sit in a room all day with no attention!
Not A Home Away From Home and Certainly Not The Best Days Ever! After an unexpected death in the family, I was required to go to Tampa, FL for a few days. I hired A Home Away From Home to care for my very sweet 10lb poodle (Presidential Suite). Prior to his stay a lengthy questionnaire was completed regarding his daily routine (feeding times/medicine/age/sleep pattern etc), camera access was also granted for monitoring. Day 1, after relaxing for a couple hours, I observed my dog begging to use the bathroom (barking/wagging his tail/clawing at the window/turning around in circles/scratching & clawing at the door). I immediately phoned the office, and he was quickly let out (for 10-15 mins); and then returned where he remained for the remainder of the day. Day 2 (Sat) same thing. My dog awakes for the day, and remains calm until he sees or hears someone around 730a-745a. And again, he's begging to go outside to the bathroom (I'm crying my eyes out). He begged about 45 mins before being let out (830a); and then quickly returned. He remained in his suite until 530p, where he is then let out for a few minutes, and returned for the remainder of the day & night. Day 3, pick-up day same thing. I watched my dog beg for about 45 minutes to 1hr to go outside, as I drove to their facility. Upon arrival, I peak into my dog's suite, and find him still begging to go to the bathroom outside while other smaller and larger dogs enjoyed the sunshine. *No Accountability *No systematic adherence to pet care policies and procedures Spoke with Dr. Liz (8a Mon), and the first thing out of her mouth was "I should consider a home pet sitter", and as I told her my entire family was in Tampa due to death (if not, he would of never been there). She also agreed with my recommendation that there needs to be more accountability and adherence to the pet care needs as provided in the lengthy questionnaire prior to check-in. *Not once did I witness him eat on time. *I'm sure if he got his medicine on time. *Nor did not get a progress/check-out report (cause they don't know).
What you do is appreciated, but please get your sign fixed. It’s making the whole neighborhood bright at night, and irs very blinding and distracting for traffic.
Best place . An It feel very reassuring that hes there because they are very attentive to your animals. They even have a web cam so you can view your pet 24/7
Very nice facility. My dogs are very important to me; like my own children. This is the best facility in Escambia County... hands down.
Wonderful staff. I boarded my cat for the first time ever. She is about 10. So I was very anxious when I called to inquire about it. Dixie answered all my questions and assured me about things I had not even thought of. We talked by email and phone. She was quick to respond to my emails. I was so at ease before dropping her off. I was further comforted when I sent a late night email on day 2 of her stay, which was answered immediately. Upon pickup 7 days later, they told me about her visit in detail. Sent me home with a few comfort items she used while there. I will use Miss Pearls again, and I hope Dixie is still there, but I am confident that if she were to leave, the other staff members would be just as caring. 2 items to mention. 1. The online registration did seem a bit excessive, but it also made me more comfortable knowing they care enough to not only ensure her shots were up to date but her preferences were listed as well. Such as was she gentle aggressive playful did she lied to be pet played with etc. Was she a biter. Simple questions that gave them some idea of her personality and likes and dislikes. The form serves a purpose, which is another way in which they made me feel comfortable 2. Upon checkout, you have an opportunity to tip. I thought this was a great benefit for me and the staff it's an extra way to say thank you to those who took care of her Thank you Dixie and the rest of the staff for taking care of my baby girl
This was our first experience there. I was a little nervous because my dog can be reactive out of fear. They took their time to be patient with him and said he was actually a good boy during the bath! I could tell everyone deeply cared for the dogs. They all were so excited to meet him and patient. Bruce Wayne will be back! Definitely recommend. (We did the deluxe bath)
My Golden Retriever LOVES this place. He’s been going since he was fully vaccinated at 5-ish months. He gets so excited when we go to drop him off that he tries to pull me around the building to the play yards, forget checking in! The staff are always so excited to see him and, since he’s still a puppy, are more than happy to use our training tools while he is in their care. We love Miss Pearl’s!
This was our first grooming with Miss Pearls and I am very pleased. Harley is a little timid and they took very good care of her. Would definitely recommend!
I left my dog at Miss Pearl’s for a playdate of a few hours in anticipation of a weekend in the future. The staff is very kind and very friendly. They sent pictures and a report of his stay while he was there. My dog, Sawyer, is very shy and they were careful to take him out with friendly, nonaggressive dogs.
Was going to do a walk through with my new puppy then recieved an email stating he needed his DHLPP . I took him to Veterinarian to get his Rabies and Bordatella and gave him his DHPP .I am a retired Veterinarian Technician and know how to properly give Vaccines. My Veterinarian recognizes the shot I gave however Miss Pearl's states they do not. I could understand not accepting a Rabies or Bordatella that was administered at home but not accepting a puppy because his owner preferred to give their own DHPP vax is ridiculous. BTW the DHLPP has Leptospirosis there are over 20 different strains of Lepto and some dogs have bad reactions to that vaccine.
Will highly recommend treated my dog like a queen made my vacation peaceful and stress-free. If you wanna top rated boarding for your animals or your babies this is a place you should go will not take my baby nowhere else
After picking my dog up from being gone for almost 4 hours he was still wet, I was told this was because he didn’t like the dryer. Which I found this odd because he doesn’t mind the blow dryer at the house. My dog has been to this establishment numerous times and never have I picked him up and such condition. It it is obvious that he was not correctly or thoroughly brush as I had to do this when I got him home. See photos attached to see the hair two hours after bringing him home. Very disappointed!
Miss Pearls was so great with my boy, they have excellent communication! He came home clean and smelling so good! We loved Miss Pearls Bed and Biscuts and we will definitely be back!
Just got my puppy groomed here for the first time and both Bella and i couldn't be happier! They did an awesome job! Thank you Miss Pearls!!!
We board all 3 of our dogs here including my husbands work dog and they LOVE it! They always come back happy and healthy. The pictures they send us are always so funny and we love getting them daily. They also have a camera for the rooms so we can keep an eye on them :) Goose, Cooper and Zara love y’all!! -The Stachewicz
Boarded our two pups here for 4 days. There were some eating issues with them but the staff kept in communication with me to consult. The two dogs were able to stay in one “suite” together and to use their own beds. Also enjoyed getting pics of my pets emailed to me daily. I don’t like to leave them anywhere, but when I do, I leave them here.
Davis Pet Hotel is the best we have ever used. After moving back to Pensacola two years ago we were introduced to Davis by a friend. Our dog is 14 and our cat is 22. We are confident they are getting the best care possible. The staff at Davis Pet Hotel is the best we have ever seen. Thanks for giving us this confidence when we travel.
We were nervous to leave our dog Bella in a pet boarding facility. She was a rescue and can sometimes be shy skittish around strangers. When we dropped her off and the tech came out to finish the final paperwork and put on her name tag, our Bella actually let her pet her and was at ease. She was comfortable around the staff, and for those with rescues that is so important. I love that they have video we can check on them. They also send picture postcards to your email and our Bella looked happy in every one. We would use Davis Pet Hotel again.
Davis Pet Hotel and Spa is the only boarding facility I trust in the area with my German Shepherd. I drive over an hour from home just to drop her off/pick her up because they’re so great. She doesn’t do well in group play settings so this is the perfect option. I love how you can check in on the camera, get daily photo updates and postcards when you pick up your pup. I also like how you can add on the extra cuddle time 😃
If you boarded your animals March 8-14th there is viral infection that is spread through droplets in the cats boarding room. All four cats that were left in their care came home lethargic with high fever needing fluids. Most likely not sterilized due to other cats still in boarding. I would be proactive and take your babies to your vet. Not to mention when I contacted them to gather more information regarding their behaviors and their eating/drinking habits during their stay they didn’t provide accurate information. Actually, they couldn’t provide any. I’m pretty disappointed that I trusted an Animal Hospital to take care of my babies. This is my cat. In the picture. This is him once I received him from their care. I was lucky enough my vet had an opening that next day to provide him care. As you can see in my other picture the date of the vet visit was one day after I picked them up.
The staff was so professional. It was very clean and we felt confident leavin our furry baby there. Loved the live stream to see him while we were away from him. Even sent us a picture. Would recommended highly. I'm sure we'll use them again whenever we're able to be back in the area.
This was a first time with boarding our two dogs. I could not be more pleased with the care they received; all of the staff were super attentive to our babies. Their attention to detail when providing the daily updates was so welcomed. And the piece of mind I had with the camera system to watch our babies was such a relief for us. We cannot thank everyone enough for the great care they provided to our 2 Labs. I am very impressed with the service and care at this facility. Highly recommended!!!
They treated my baby amazing ! She was super nervous to be away from her son and they cared for her so great! I recommend to anyone and she is a Rottweiler so I was a bit nervous but they were wonderful ! They even sent me these postcards of how she did !
First time boarder here (and boarding @ DavisPetHotel&Spa) ♡ ♡ They were very accommodating and made my 2 yr old bichon mix puppy feel very much at home What also sets this place aside is: Access to a vet and treatment ( dog needs medication for anxiety or routine administration, you have a qualified personnel. Also : you can have camera access to your dog on your phone (by downloading an app, it takes 1 minute to set up at the front desk) Third : they loved and enjoyed him like he was family.
I am a college student at UWF and needed someone to watch my kitty, Chanel over my Winter Break. Lauren went above and beyond all of my expectations for a pet sitter. She sent me many updates, pictures and even celebrated my kitty's birthday with her. She is amazing and was very caring toward Chanel. I will definitely be using her again if I go on future trips. If you need a pet sitter to take extremely great care of your pet while you are away, Lauren is definitely your girl! I am super thankful I found her and I know Chanel appreciated her loving care.
Best pet sitter!! Loving, reliable, knowledgeable, conscientious, fees are reasonable and an overall wonderful person. Never worried about my pets when away! She is self directed and makes great judgements when caring for your pets. I moved away from the area otherwise, I would have never left her service. I would extremely recommend her!!!
Lauren watched my 4 cats while I was on vacation. I was completely happy with her! She texted daily with updates and pictures. She worked hard to gain the trust of my wary cats, and they clearly warmed up to her fast. She was able to give my 2 cats medication without issues. Everyone was happy and healthy when I returned. I'm relieved that I've found a trustworthy pet sitter to help with my animals so I don't need to stress anymore when I have to leave town.
Lauren is more than simply a pet sitter. My anti-social cats warmed up to her quickly & my dogs absolutely adored her. She followed every instruction I left for her & asked when she had questions. She took time to give each animal one-on-one attention; administered meds easily & reliably; got the mail, watered the plants, cleaned up animal accidents & general animal messes. I am thrilled to have found her!!!
Lauren watched my two cats for a couple weeks and I couldn't be happier with the service. They both seemed happy and healthy when I got back. She left a note with how everything went and even took the time to vacuum up the litter from my messy cats. Plus she left a goody bag with some toys for my babies! Highly recommended.
Quite literally the best pet sitting experience anyone could hope for. Lauren is extremely attentive to the needs of each individual pet, and goes above and beyond to provide peace of mind while you are away from your home and your pets. She texted photo updates with each visit, offered to take our trash cans to the curb, and even vacuumed the entire carpeted area of the home to ensure that our cats had not tracked litter everywhere while we were away. Absolutely exceptional in every way!
Lauren is wonderful with my animals, very much an animal lover. I trust her when i’m Gone and know my animals are being taken care of. I highly recommend
I had the pleasure of having a pet sitter for the first time in my life. Really appreciated the ease and peace of mind. Very pleasant lady and a delight to work with. Highly recommend her services for your babies.
Great cuts, clean puppies, and finished in timely manner. Professional and personable...highly recommend ❣️
