I can’t say enough good things about Harlan! We found ourselves in a unique situation where we needed a 'stand-by' dog sitter for our two big, energetic dogs. Harlan was quick to respond to our messages and readily agreed to our unusual request. He was incredibly accommodating, which really put our minds at ease. HB Kennels was the perfect spot for our anxious pup. We couldn’t imagine boarding our nervous rescue at a traditional kennel. Our vet suggested HB Kennel and we couldn’t have been happier with the in home facility, fenced in yard and flexible hours. Harlan was great at figuring out how to manage our sweet girl and we will be going back! So glad to have found a place that works for us.

I just picked up my 6 yr old English Bulldog after an 11 day stay at HB Kennels and I can't recommend Harlan and his family enough. Bull had never been away from me and my family for more than a few hours so I was very anxious about leaving. Harlan and his family immediately put me and Bull at ease. They took care of Bull as if he was one of their own and it showed. I would not trust Bull in anybody else's hands but Harlan and his family!

Harlan provides the utmost care for his dogs - our little guy comes home extremely happy after each visit. Will surely recommend to others and going to continue using in the future!

While my cat is skittish of everyone, Annie took the time to make sure she felt comfortable during her visits. She also came over a visit before our first visit to get to know us and our cat. Annie was my sitter for my cat Brendan when I temporarily lived in Waltham for work. Annie took care of Brendan on a few last minute urgent occasions. Once I was gone for 2 weeks. She really saved me. She’s a lovely person who truly loves animals. When I returned from being out of town Brendan always looked content and litter box clean. You and your pet will love Annie.

New to the area and needed in-home cat care on fairly short notice. Annie offers a variety of services at reasonable prices - it was easy to request services, get a consult, and schedule what we needed. Annie is fun, thorough, and professional - will definitely use again.

Nancy and Shane are the absolute best in the greater Boston area! They have given me an absolute consistent peace of mind while traveling and away from my furry best friend throughout my entire time here. They are both incredibly professional and flexible with availability. I can not recommend these two anymore. Not to mention how many times they would drop what they were doing just to run me over a spare key, because I stupidly locked myself out of my apartment. I could only hope to find people as great as them in the future!

Literally five minutes into our "meet and greet" with Shane and Nancy, our kitty -- who can be shy -- was weaving in and around their legs. We had them come once a day for a week to feed, freshen water and scoop litter box. They offered to take in mail and water houseplants too but we'd already made other arrangements. They sent adorable pictures every day. That she was comfortable with them and not hiding out, scared gave us such peace of mind. Shane and Nancy are now our go-to pet sitters!

Nancy and Shane are great. They took care of our 2 cats when we were away - coming twice a day over to feed, play and clean litter. Very reliable. Even our shy cat became best friends with them . Now Shane takes our pup on daily real hikes with dog playgroups. My pup is absolutely in love with Shane. Nancy and Shane are super flexible with scheduling, we have reached out last minute and they have been very accommodating.

Above & Beyond Pet Services is wonderful. I transitioned my King Charles Cavalier to dog walks about 12 months ago from doggie daycare as I realized he preferred the one on one attention. Sophia has been his primary walker for several months now. She is very attentive to Asher and will always mention in her notes if she notices anything out of the ordinary. I met her and she is very kind and caring. I know that Asher is in good hands and that she is able to adjust to his needs each day which differ based on my schedule with him and if we walked the prior night or earlier in the morning. I know that he looks forward to spending time with her whether they walk or play depending on his needs for the day I know she is giving him lots of love and attention. I am so grateful to have this incredible reliable and professional service for my dog who is my family.

Elise and Lillian walked our aging pup under the senior walk program (2x a day). They were both amazing, and Maya loved all of her walkers from A&B, but these two take the cake! The entire company, from the office staff to the walkers, especially Katsumi, treats Quinn like she is their own. I have.worked very closely with them, especially Sarah, to make sure my cats' needs were addressed, in two settings - my home, and the hotel I stayed in for the last few months in Boston. I've been using Above & Beyond for years, and they've always done a great job taking care of my two cats. I have them bring in my mail, in addition to putting out food and water, and scooping the litter. I get nervous about leaving my cats for trips, but the daily email updates A&B sends with photos of the cats and the services they're doing really puts my mind at ease. They've always been easy to schedule and communicate with. Would highly recommend.

The absolute best pet care service in Boston! I have used Happy Pet Care for cat visits for years now and they deliver first class service every single time. They took dedicated time to understand my cat's personality and needs before their first visit and I love that I get pictures of him and updates for each visit. Happy pet care took care of my cats while I went away for a few days. Mary was very quick at communicating and setting things up smoothly and efficiently. The cat sitters were great, giving me daily reports with pictures which made me feel confident they were very well taken care of. I came back to kitties that were happy and healthy. When I lived in Fenway I used to use Rover for all my pet sitting needs. But it was a pricy service and I had to do a lot of research and vetting when choosing someone who would look after our small dog. I moved to Brighton during the pandemic and have since relied on Happy Pet Care for all our walking and sitting needs. Mary, the owner is extremely good at communicating. She is quick to schedule us in even the night before (so sorry Mary). We set up autopay so I don't have to worry about the hassle and with fixed rates every time I know exactly what the cost will be upfront as opposed to Rover which can charge me different rates depending on who is working. Happy Pet Care did increase their prices during the end of the pandemic to adjust for the rise in cost of living. I appreciated the transparency about the cost increase and the sensitivity with which it was communicated to me. I would also like to personally recommend Debra, who has cared for our dog multiple times. I feel that everyone at Happy Pet Care gets to know my dog, and seeing the same people get to know her makes me feel secure that she is in good hands and that she can recognize who is caring for her without the added stress of meeting a stranger. Happy Pet Care is a great small business that we can rely on. I have been recommending their services to new dog owners in the area and I would certainly recommend them to you.

I needed a dog walker in Brighton for our new rescue and came across glowing reviews for Happy Pet Care. They are professional, super flexible, and really care about your pet. Mary is very easy to work with and very responsive. Our first meeting was with Jen and she was great with our dog and asked all the right questions. Sean was our main dog walker and he was so caring with our dog - she is 12 years old and he never got annoyed with how slow she needed to walk. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of quality care you get. We will greatly miss their services in the suburbs!

We've been using Happy Pet Care for dog walks 2-3 times per week since we adopted our lab mix puppy (now over a year ago). Mary is always so responsive, kind and flexible - which is so important when you have a dog. There have been multiple occasions where we need to switch days, length of walks, or add on an additional walk. Mary has almost always been able to accommodate us! Our walker is mostly either Sophia, Jen, or Mary herself. My pup can be nervous around new people when her humans aren't around, and they have all been wonderfully patient with our pup. Thanks for helping us care for our fur baby! Updated review: It has now been 2.5 years using Happy Pet Care. We could not ask for a better, more reliable, patient, understanding, and kind dog walking service. We've had Mary, Sophia, Jen, Matt, and Debra walk our pup - and they've all been great. Mary is always very responsive, and easy to work with, even with last minute changes. Additionally, her prices have not gone up, while other services we use for our pup have. The dog walks are high quality with a great price, and a lot of flexibility (because life happens). We're sad that our pup won't have them for her mid day walks while we're at work after we move.

I spent two weeks out of town and Lisa from Happy Pet Care came by my apartment twice a day to look after my rabbit, Auggie. I've never left my bun alone for a such a long time and was initially anxious about the separation, but Lisa was wonderful in every way. First, she had previous experience caring for her own rabbit, which was important to me because rabbits are nonverbal creatures and require someone who is familiar with their signs of illness or distress. Second, she sent sweet text and photos updates of Auggie twice a day, and it was apparent that he was both happy and comfortable in her care. Third, Lisa went above and beyond in caring for my bun--she weathered fierce storms to check on him, doted on him with his favorite salad greens, arranged a last-minute emergency visit when my flight home was delayed, and showered him with so much affection that not once did I worry about Auggie during the two weeks that I was gone. Can't recommend Happy Pet Care enough, and Ms. Lisa especially! She's my go-to gal from here on out whenever I'm heading out of town.

We have been using Happy Pet Care for about two years now and we could not be happier with the thoughtful, thorough care they have provided for our two dogs and two cats over this time. We have relied on Mary and her staff for individual walks, taxis, and cat sitting. We simply would not be able to manage our lives without Happy Pet Care. Mary is wonderfully responsive and always works hard to accommodate our requests, even when we have to make them at the last minute due to unforeseen changes. Mary's staff, particularly Jen and Renee, have always been nothing short of amazing. Renee in particular always goes so far above and beyond, and she treats all our pets like they were her own. We consider ourselves and our pets to be very lucky to have connected with Mary and her staff.

I have been using Pooch Hotel since 2021. Back then, I had difficulty finding a suitable place for my dog that could accommodate my working hours. Most places only operated from 7 am to 7 pm, but Pooch Hotel was the only one open 24 hours with after-hours pick-up availability. Over the years, I have seen many people come and go and several different management teams. In 2024, I have noticed many positive changes in both the business and the care of our pups. The staff is super nice, friendly, hardworking, professional, and always positive, even during busy times like around the holidays. I love the new facility design, the seasonal treats, and the doggy training sessions I see happening in the afternoon when I come pick up my Leo. If you’re looking for a place with flexible hours, friendly staff, a nice facility, and a convenient location, this is the place for you ☺️

My dog Maple ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE POOCH HOTEL! The staff are kind, responsible and very communicative. Maple is a rescue who had a tough start to life, she was very nervous the first day of Daycare. After one week, she became excited everyday for the Pooch Hotel. The staff are always there to greet everyone with a smile. I am so thankful for them!

Garcia was very well taken care of and loved by all staff. They were attentive to her needs and mine as well. I felt very comfortable and assured with her stay. Great place!!! Will see you all again !!!!

The Pooch Hotel team is absolutely incredible. Our dog Kobe is SO excited every time we take him to the hotel for boarding. He runs around and kisses all of the employees and his butt wiggles so fast because of how hard he wags his tail. I watch on the webcam and see how happy he is during play group. The staff are so well trained and interact with the dogs during play groups so professionally. When we pick him up, he’s happy to see us, but also again runs around to kiss and say goodbye to the employees. I’m so happy that we found this place. Worth every penny. Thank you endlessly for treating our dog as family. The Pupdates are always incredible as well.

We used this groomer for the first time for our large dog and it was the best grooming he's ever had. He looks so clean, cute, and fluffy and he wasn’t anxious or stressed after his appointment with Ballie, the groomer. They were very sweet to work with and quick with the appointment. So happy we made the change and thrilled with his cut and care.🐾

Updating my review to 4 stars. Originally I was very concerned with how my dog's trial was handled, but Pooch Hotel followed up with me over the phone to explain the situation. The person I spoke to was very helpful and explained that unexpected staffing issues caused the trials to not go as expected that day. She walked me through how my dog's care was approached and, as he's quite anxious in new surroundings, I felt more confident that his specific needs were considered. Considering all the positive reviews for Pooch Hotel, I had been hopeful that our original experience was not the norm, and I'm pleased that this appears to be the case. We are so appreciative of the quality care he’s received!

I cannot say enough positive things about Pooch Hotel. I am so happy with the environment , the cleanliness and the personal attention each staff member gives my 2 yr old Shihtzu Zoey. Cassandra does an amazing job making sure the dogs and the owners needs are well taken care of. She is always enthusiastic and welcoming whether it’s 7 am or 7 pm. The webcams in the play areas and the outdoor space are a comforting feature. The entire staff is a pleasure to deal with. The facility is immaculate. They off a $99 unlimited month trial for me customers , they also have a variety of packages. Their groomer does an amazing job. Grooming while at daycare is a huge bonus. They also offer dog training for pups and parents. Pooch Hotel deserves to be given 5 stars. I am so grateful my research for a great doggy daycare brought me to Pooch Hotel.

Our dogs rarely get boarded so they are not exactly used to being anywhere but home. We only left them for 2 nights. The best part of leaving them at Pooch Hotel was the staff. Every person we talked to demonstrated a solid commitment to working with the pups. It also looks like a fun place to work!

Cortney and her team at Waggity are so wonderful. They are caring, responsive and dependable and care for my 15 year-old dog as if she were their own. They write detailed notes and take the cutest pictures to show how she does on her daily walks. As my dog has aged, her needs have increased a lot and they have shown such kindness, patience and adaptability in supporting her, even going as far as carrying her as needed. When I go out of town they do overnight stays and take such good care of her, while providing me with regular updates. It's so reassuring to know she's always in such good hands with Cortney and her walkers.

Cortney, Beth, and the whole waggity team take amazing care of our nervous dog who is afraid of her own shadow. She is by no means an easy dog and they have taken the time to meet her where she is at!

Waggity is great! They show such care and attention to our dog. And take great pictures! He always has the best time and it’s great to know he gets time to roam.

We are so happy we found Waggity! Our dog has some anxiety around new people and with other dogs, and all of the walkers take their time with him and make his walks enjoyable for him. Waggity LLC is by far the best dog walking service I have ever used. And really they are so much more. They take great care of my Maltipoo -- he squeals with excitement every time they arrive. We receive daily updates about his walks, including adorable photos. And they clearly adore him. What more could anyone ask for?! I will never use another dog service, this is as good as it gets!

I have had the best experience with waggity! I feel like Cortney truly cares about my dog, Izzy, and has taken the time to get to know her and her needs. Izzy can be reactive on walks towards other dogs, which made finding a dog walker nerve-wracking for me, but Cortney has made me feel that Izzy is in great hands! Definitely recommend!

The WAGGITY crew is the best of the best. We had a really negative experience with a dog walker abusing our dogs in our house so gaining our trust was a feat. These ladies have done so with grace and patience. We are so grateful. We can’t imagine what our weeks would look like without them and our dogs truly love them.

Cortney Thompson has walked our chocolate lab, and stayed in our home with her while we have been away, for the last 5 years. She is one of the most professional, caring, committed dog caretakers (and people) I have ever known. When we travel we know Lucy is completely safe and loved, and we don't know what we would have done had it not been for Cortney more times than we can count!
