Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.
I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.
If we could give 10 out of 5 stars for Candace, Brian, and Chris, we would! They were amazing house and dog sitters for Brown Dog and Scout. They were so accommodating with our timeline and had read our welcome guide to a tee! It was so reassuring being gone for 2 weeks and knowing our pups were in amazing hands. They sent us daily updates and pictures and it was clear the dogs were so well cared for! They left the house very clean and even had all of our bedding and towels washed for us when we arrived home. Would absolutely recommend them for a sit and would love to have them back again any time!
Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.
Amara was a WONDERFUL sitter for our home and our dogs for the weekend. We were so comfortable with her being in our home, and she provided regular updates and photos of our babies. The house was clean upon arrival home - we would have no hesitation recommending her to others and hope she would consider coming back to spend more time with our dogs!
Duha was such a light to have in our home while we were away. She kept us updated with beautiful photos of our dogs throughout her stay and didn’t leave their side once. I’ve never felt so comfortable with any other sitter and I truly hope this won’t be the last time she sits for us.
Joanna and David were absolutely perfect!!!! This was my first actual time using a sitter and they went above and beyond what I expected. I have a 1 year old Bully Breed that I adopted 6 weeks ago, so if you know dogs you know what they had to deal with :)) They sent pics daily and kept me updated. We were not able to meet before I left but they were nice enough to stay to meet me when I returned. My house was cleaner than when I left, all bedding and towels washed. Charley, my dog, was happy to see me for a minute when I got home but immediately went back to play with David, so I am thinking she had a blast while I was gone. I am totally sold with this process after having Joanna and David here. If you have the chance to book them for your trip, you will not be sorry. I am hoping to use them again when they return to Florida.
First things first, Linda is awesome! If she applies for one of your sits, you have to accept! This was our first time using zeewoi and is also the first time we have left our dog since we got him. Obviously, we were nervous at the beginning, but Linda removed all aspects of that. She is honestly one of the nicest, kindest, most polite people you will meet. From our first initial meeting, we knew that she was the sitter for us, and for Archie. The day that we left, Archie let out a little cry as we said goodbye. This was the first time he had done this (it broke our heart), but we knew he was in great hands! Throughout the week, Linda was extremely communicative. She would send us daily updates, share videos of their walks together, and send pictures of the two of them having fun. She spoiled Archie with love, attention, and a couple of new toys! When we returned, the house was in the exact same condition as we had left it, and was very clean and tidy. When Linda left, Archie ran to the door, started to cry, and sat/laid there for some time - And we think that this alone is a great reflection of the kind of person that Linda is. Linda – It was an absolute pleasure to host you in our home, thank you for everything that you did for us and Archie, and for making our first experience a positive and memorable one. Archie misses you! We hope you get the chance to do it again for us in the future.
The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!
You could not ask for better house and pet sitters than Ken and Jane! Before the sit: Communicating with Ken and Jane prior to our scheduled week went smoothly. They were proactive about planning. They came out to the house prior to the sit and spent a couple of hours going over things about the house, meeting the pets, and getting familiar and comfortable with everything. They were delightful people to meet; I was wishing for a couple of days to just hang out and play tourist with them! During the sit: Ken and Jane sent me daily updates and photos of their outings with my pups and with their interactions with my kitties. I appreciated how they chose the sit partly because of their love of exploring rural areas, because that's what I have here! They were perfectly suited to my home and pets. Ken absolutely loves cats and is an intuitive and experienced kitty-handler. Jane really bonded with one of my kitties; both of them made great progress with all three of my cats, each of which is pretty shy at first, and one can be a real problem child. They worked very hard to give love to each pet and ensure that each felt calm, happy, and cared for. They spend tons of time outdoors with my border collie/retrievers. The dogs had daily "spa time" after walks and outdoor playtime, having their long fur brushed on my front porch (which the dogs love!). They sent me happy photos every day. If anything came up, they just handled it. They really seemed to enjoy their adventures and the pets each day, which made my time away that much more enjoyable. After the sit: I was thankful to have some time with Ken and Jane when I returned from my trip. All the pets were calm, happy, and healthy when I got home. Ken and Jane had left me a detailed note about that last day to make re-entry easy. They sweetly left a thank you note and a bottle of wine on the kitchen table also (a very sweet and unexpected surprise!). They seemed quite sad to leave my "kids;" Jane left with tears in her eyes, saying goodbye to my dogs. We've kept in touch since the sit. My whole house really misses them. Oh, and the house was immaculate and plants all watered (inside and out) when I got home! If you're looking for kind, competent, caring, organized and responsible people to care for your home and pets, invite Ken and Jane!

Need a pet sitter? Wendy is more than that. She is a loving caregiver for our fur kids. Extremely conscientious, reliable, and really cares about our kids’ health and happiness. The photos show how happy they are with Wendy’s care.
Our dogs love when Wendy takes care of them! She gives them lots of love and attention and follows any special care instructions very carefully. She sends us cute pictures after every visit so we can see how they're doing. We highly recommend her as a pet sitter. The peace of mind Wendy gives us is priceless.
Wendy was hands down the best pet sitter we have used since having our two dogs. She is very thorough and you can see the passion in her work shine through immediately. She was very accommodating even though we only gave a weeks notice of needing her services. We would recommend her without reservation and will certainly use her again in the future!
This is completely unsolicited. Wendy has taken care of my girls for many years. She’s thorough and consistent. My Siberian Huskies love her. More importantly, I never worry when Wendy is in charge of my babies’ needs. Highly, highly recommend her. My neighbors use her services for their cats and they too are thrilled.
Hard to find an honest & reliable pet sitter in our area. Wendy watched our 3 dogs and sent pics & updates daily, while we were gone. Highly recommend her for any pet services in our area.
Wendy is excellent, and our go-to pet sitter. Our two cats enjoy her visits (including playtime!), and we love receiving her daily photos and updates while we are away. She is reliable, detail-oriented and truly cares for her clients and their furry kids :-). We highly recommend her services and can't thank her enough for always taking such great care of our cats.
Wendy is awesome and our 2 fur babies just love her! She is super reliable and trustworthy. Additionally, she provides fantastic updates and pictures of our babies every time she visits. Using her service, provides the peace of mind that our pups are in good hands and will be cared for properly. I highly recommend her!
Our 3 doggies love Wendy and are blessed to have her take care of us!! We highly recommend Wendy Collins Pet Sitting Service!!
I have used Wendy for a couple of times and feel comfortable when leaving my pets in her care. I would definitely recommend her!
Wendy is the best! When she lets our dogs out during the day, she gives each one of them love and attention. She is reliable and pays attention to every detail for each of our dogs. She is so thorough, organized, and professional! E love Wendy!
Michael is the absolute BEST! He clearly has a talent with dogs and cares very much about them. We sent TWO giant breed puppies to him for board and train. With 2 giant puppies and two toddlers in our house, (yes, we know we’re idiots) he saved our sanity! We get compliments all the time now about how well behaved our, now, 7 month old puppies are. And if we ever have an issue arise through their growth, Michael is very fast to respond and help us out. He is truly dedicated to the dogs he trains. He even helped eliminate a bad behavior we had with our 12 year old dog. Thanks to Enlightened K9 Perspective, we learned that old dogs CAN learn new tricks. We recommend him for any dog owners at ANY stage of life, 110%.
As owners of a miniature schnauzer with behavioral issues, we would highly recommend Michael and his dog training techniques. We went from an aggressive and barking dog to a well-behaved one. We are now able to take walks with Spencer, and it is more enjoyable to be in public with him. Michael is truly a master at what he does. Thanks Michael for a new dog!
I had the opportunity to work hands on with Michael and my husky Yuna. We specifically worked on control during walks which lead to off leash. Michael not only trained my dog but more importantly he trained me on how to interact and communicate with my dog. With the groundbreaking work he did that week and the recommended advise for returning home, my husky can now walk off leash amongst all kinds of distractions. (Kids, barking dogs, cats, squirrels, etc.)
Within just a few hours of Michael working with my two dogs on simple leash training, I noticed a huge difference. They were generally calmer, and even issues he had not yet addressed had improved greatly. My two dogs issues included; aggression towards other dogs, food aggression, barking at every little sound they heard, jumping on people, “mouthing” peoples hands and clothes as a “greeting,” and pulling when walked. I really appreciate the way he takes the time to explain things to the owner and answer questions with humor and kindness, he never makes you feel like there’s a stupid question, and has a lot of empathy for owners and dogs alike. My dogs bad behavior is practically gone, they are SO much calmer and better behaved. People who frequent our home (the gardener, friends, mailman, etc.) have already noticed a difference. “It’s so quiet here now!” I feel confident that Michael has given me the tools I need to continue their training on my own. I highly recommend Enlightened K9 Perspective.
I know I left a review several months ago, but this man deserves all of the 5 star ratings. He has gone out of his way to help my two shepherds, and guiding me. I’ve gotten both shepherds trained with Michael & I will say that it has done absolute wonders, if I could give 10 stars I would. I never thought I would be able to have both of my dogs out together in one space without nervousness and aggression. Michael truly cares about the well-being of dogs and making sure they are well trained. I can never thank him enough for his help! You’re awesome!
Michael is amazing.. he trained our husky for two weeks and changed our lives! We went from not being able to walk her at all (she would pull excessively) to being able to take her out with no lease and being able to walk her anywhere.
If your looking for someone to just train your dog , go somewhere else, once your dog or pup has been to enlighten K9 perspective it has become part of Michaels family , this man genuinely cares for these dogs well being and will go above and beyond to do what he can to help you and your dog. anytime of day or night he has been there to answer questions and even tell us what we are doing wright or wrong
As a dog trainer myself , Michael is the only other trainer that I truly trust with my pack. I had rescued a washout belgian malinois from the coast guard who had a bite history. My kennels were full and I felt it was best Michael assist me in acquiring my dog . Michael took him in for 2 weeks to work on some behaviors. I've watched him train , he is my friend and I'm honored to know him giving him a 5 star isnt enough. 10 stars he ROCKS and can save your dogs life and give you peace of mind and guide you on what to do .. Cheers my friend
We called Michael for help with our overly reactive miniature schnauzer, Porter. We were worried about his unpredictable nature and increasing aggressiveness towards people and other dogs. Michael took Porter for 2 weeks and Porter came back much calmer and happier. Michael took the time to train my husband and I an also helped out with our other two pups! I would not hesitate to recommend Michael - he's super knowledgable and will work with you and your pup until the issue is under control. Thank you!
Michael is amazing, he trained both of our golden retrievers, Savannah and Shelby, we cannot sing his praises enough! We call him the dog whisperer, he has a true gift with animals!
