Karen came to visit Tippy my-cat before we went away. Tippy is an old lady and is on medication for her arthritis. She is a loving cat but needy and always wants a bit of TLC. Karen listened to my cats needs and took on board what i had discussed with her. Tippy took to Karen straight away which made me feel better as i was anxious about leaving her for the first time. Karen reassured me she would be fine. I did text Karen half way through my short break, but she responded straight away reassuring my cat Tippy was fine. I came back to clean cat bowls a clean litter tray and a contented cat. Would i book Karen again?, I already have for another short break, before we have a longer holiday in April when my husband retires. Karen is trustworthy, and caring, and i would and have recommended her to others

From the moment my two cats, Milo and Biscuit met Karen they were smitten, smooching her legs. So I knew they would be fine with her. Her service is outstanding, and she went above and beyond contacting me to tell me I'd left a window open upstairs and would I like it closed. One of my rescue cats has some psychological problems so wouldn't be able to cope with a cattery so this service was a godsend when a friend let me down last minute. The cats were so chilled out when I got home they forgot to have the hump over me being away as they usually do. And the crocheted catnip mice she left for them were an absolute winner. Thank you Karen! I can't recommend this woman highly enough.

Fantastic care. Ellie can't wait to see Keiron and Kate every time we drop her off. Can go to work and no worries as we know she is well cared for and happy. Just a bit of a problem getting her home as she just doesn't want to leave!! X

Highly recommend booking in advance as a new establishment with fantastic facilities at a exceptional price. I have no hesitation in advising anyone to book in with Kieran and Kate who are friendly and knowledgeable with first class service. There dog kennels are of ample size and have a blow through system keeping dogs cool in summer and warm in winter in addition they have a outside kennel during the day and a large feild where maximum of 4 dogs at any time will be free to roam everything is high fenced for additional security measures on a rotational basis. Clean place, with safe storage of food and access to fresh water at all times. The area is secluded with great security measures in place high fences and CCTV it's easy to see that dogs booked in at this place are well looked after. First hand experience Kieran has looked after our Dobermann and we were pleased with the service they had to offer- Music on for the dogs to also keep calm.

My Patterdale Buddy stayed overnight on Saturday for the first time and had a wonderful time. He was happy when he was picked up and slept right through the 3 hour journey home. Would definitely recommend.

Put our two young dogs in kennels here for their first time at the weekend and wasn't sure how they would react. Staff were brilliant with the dogs (and us!) and the dogs seemed to have a brilliant time and came home exhausted (in a good way). Part of me doesn't want to recommend these kennels because if they become too popular, I might not be able to book my dogs in!!!

I was really nervous about leaving my 5 month boxer puppy for the first time. Nothing to worry about I would totally recommend this place to anyone. Lovely couple, brilliant set up with air conditioning in the Kennels two lovely walks a day and someone employed just to play ball out in the field with them. I wish you every success.

Its the first time for my dogs to stay with the kennel. brilliant service, friendly staff at drop off and collection. I have an older dog and a nervous younger dog, both need were met. Highly recommend booked in for another 2 visits this year.

We picked our Frenchie up today after an 11 night stay. I was very pleased as she looked very happy, had not lost weigh and her eyes were bright and could also see that she had very much taken to Kate. We were sent photos and videos of Ruby whilst she was in there, which we were delighted at. I would highly recommend Roanhead Kennels and would not hesitate to board Ruby there again. Kaiser loved his stay at Roanhead. He came home happy and healthy and we received some lovely photos of his holiday. Thank you to all the staff who looked after our boy.

We dropped our dog there on Sunday evening a happy healthy 26kg dog to pick her up on Friday evening a drowsy, skinny 23kg dog. At home she is fed 400gms of food a day and walked for around an hour, the Kennels fed her the same amount of food yet walked her multiple times a day, we were told 4 of unknown time. We weren't contacted at all to be asked if they would like us to feed her more or to say she was losing weight at a rapid rate even when we messaged to ask how she was. When we got her home she passed out in bed and had to be carried to the bath and back, and was in a drowsy state for hours. We rang the emergency vets who told us to monitor her and take her to the vets this morning as we did. Her paws were all bloody and sore and she was holding them up, the vet has told us it's dermatitis probably caused from the bleach they were using or the conditions of their yard and she has also caught conjunctivitis in both eyes plus lost her voice from barking so much. We have contacted them multiple times only for them to say it's not their fault and they have done nothing wrong essentially, they could not care less about violet only that they're not to blame (which clearly they are). They have offered a refund which we haven't accepted as this doesn't fix the health problems she has come home with nor the upset it has caused.

We've had 3 dogs from here the staff brilliant! Our dogs lived until they were 13 14 and 16.

Dogs stink.

I've had my Boxer Ted stay at this kennels in the past and found it to very good. However I've tried a few times to book him in for boarding and every time they say they're booked up. I am starting to wonder if its that they don't wish to take my dog because maybe they find him difficult and they're being selective in what dogs they will take. It's very disappointing that every time you try to make a booking you get the same response mainly sorry we're full!

Our doggies love coming here! They are well looked after. It's also great that regular photos and videos are posted on Crossagates' FB page so us owners can see our doggies happy and having lots of fun.

Cannot recommend Crossgate enough to everyone, Lola, Sally & Bella absolutely love it here, they come home totally worn out.Thank you so much xXx

Fantastic kennels, my boys go for playday, its been great for them socialising. The kennels are great, lots they have an indoor area for play. Staff are just great , my boys love it. ❤

Just picked our dog up after a few days away. Love that they put photos and videos on their website so we can see he's fine.

My dog has been going to crossgate for 12years well looked after, lots of fields to run around in,all the staff are brilliant.

Always use this cattery. Opening hours are so convenient and Simon has been happy to administer medication too. Cats are happy and I am too knowing they are well cared for

I've only used the hydrotherapy. Easy to find, parking on site, they've thought of everything to make it easier for the dogs. Great service, clean, good opening hours suitable for everyone, easy to join. And sometimes free range eggs available!

Our three small dogs have been going to Verstone for a year or so; Simon quickly gained our trust with his exceptional attention to detail, we wholeheartedly trust him to take the best care of our very spoilt dogs! Everything at the office is so organised and meticulous, Verstone are always on the ball. This means we can leave our pups and relax, knowing that they're in safe hands.

Excellent service and care, we love that our cats can go outside in their own run or stay in. All 3 of our cats have returned home happy and relaxed. Would highly recommend.

I have taken deejay twice to the kennels, he is well looked after, and I would certainly recomend them to everyone .
