A change in Job has introduced a lot of business travel, Difford was the 3rd Kennel I have tried, and have now used 5 times for anything from 3 days to 2 weeks away. On the first visit, my dog was scared on arrival when he saw it was a Kennel, but since then, he simply greets the staff and goes in, he seems very well looked after, is happy and each stay works great. I also find the cost fairly good. I can highly recommend this Kennel, Pippa and her staff are friendly and clearly very capable. Another positive is that the location is a good distance from a major center, which means firework sounds are not a problem. Highly recommended.

Our dogs were looked after well here. They come home smelling nice not like your usual kennel smell. Pippa and her team are very welcoming & understanding about our dogs routine & medication. Will definitely use the kennels again. :)

I cannot recommend Pippa and her amazing team highly enough. My dog Colin who is a very bouncy Vizsla has been coming here since he was a puppy and no matter if he is staying for day boarding or for 16 nights he’s always happy to go in and comes home in great condition and very happy. The team kindly gives me updates whilst he is there but I never have to worry about him.

Louis has stayed with Pippa and the team a number of times. He and we have always been made very welcome. As an older dog with a couple of medical issues he has needed a little bit of extra care and attention and we have been incredibly impressed with how well Louis has been on his return home. When we come to collect him he is obviously very happy in the company of the staff who are genuinely warm towards him and know him as an individual. He always comes home smelling 'fresh as a daisy'. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Diffords

Our dog millie became poorly while in the kennels with IBS most probably due to the stress of us leaving her. Pipa told us about the problem and asked us if she should take her to the vets we agreed best to get her checked out millie was only there for 2 day's and the attention she got was fantastic. Pipa phoned us several times to update us and to reassure us she was OK 5 STAR care thank you.

Highly recommend this kennels. Left our dog here for a week and came back just as happy as he left. Pippa and Corey go out of their way to make sure the dogs are looked after and the owners are kept updated by way of photographs. Best kennels around!

Ellee has been walking our two wonderful but challenging and reactive rescues for almost a year now and I cannot rate her highly enough. She is punctual, reliable, accommodating, and sends lots of updates and photos. Ellee truly loves and understands animals and is calm and patient with them. Our dogs absolutely adore her and are so happy and excited whenever they see her - she also carries the best treats, so I really had to up my game! When my dogs are in her care I know I can relax, and there aren’t many people I can say that about. She’s indispensable.

We have had Ellee come and look after our cat Hugo a few times now. Hugo is quite a shy and timid cat but Ellee has managed to make a friend out of him and has been a great cat sitter every time. Would highly reccomended Ellee's services to anybody!

Ellee’s been brilliant with our 4 year old GSD girl, Kova. Kova is very sweet in the home, but reactive with other dogs. Ellee’s always been great handling her and Kova has taken to her straight away. When we’re out of the house, we know she’s in the best hands :)

We always ask Ellee to look after our three cats. We have done since they were kittens 3 years ago. One of our cats had been ill and was still recovering when we had to go away. Ellee was great with them and I felt totally safe to leave them with her. Can’t ask for better care and the cats love her!!

Ellee walks our dogs for us when we can’t. They love her and we have full confidence in her care for them. Happy to recommend her to other animal owners.

Moogles have done a fantastic job of walking and looking after our dog, Molly, over the last 6 months. She clearly adores both the dogs she walks with and the people who walk her. What has been invaluable to us is that Moogles are so flexible, able to fit in with my varying work schedule. They provide a fantastic service at a reasonable cost - we love them!

Moogles are fantastic. They've done a wonderful job settling my dog - who can sometimes be a bit of a handful - and they've been flexible and helpful, fitting around my schedule, which is sometimes unpredictable. They've also taken my dog to the vet a couple of times when I wasn't able to go and that's been a great help. I can't wait for them to start doing boarding too! Highly recommended.

Moogles provide a great service - reliable as well as flexible. All the dog walkers are friendly and clearly love dogs! Marley loves his walks with Moogles, and I am always reassured that they will look after him as if he were their own.

I have two dogs, Dave and Hamish, who had the pleasure of being walked by Moogles recently. They were gone for some time and came back exhausted and happy. What more can you want for your dogs?! The team at Moogles have been looking after Crumble since we got him at 10 weeks, at first they came for 'puppy pop in's' getting to know him and doing some basic training, then he progressed to the 'big boy' walks, socialising with other dogs and having lots of fun. Crumble loves his Moogles time, you can see how excited he is when they arrive to pick him up and he is worn out when he gets back :-). Moogles are part of Crumbles family 😀

Would just like to say I am over the moon with the service from all at moogles. My dog belle can be a bit of a handful and a bit moody at times but they totally understand her and will work with her as opposed to against her. She literally bounces at the door when she can hear them. I have been using moogles for 14 months and would highly recommend

Our working lab can sometimes be a handful, but Danielle cares for her wonderfully, ensuring all her needs are fully met. Danielle is fantastic with the dogs, maintains excellent control, and takes them on diverse and enriching walks using a well-equipped, dedicated dog van. These outings always leave our dog content and fulfilled. Additionally, the booking and payment systems are professional, user-friendly, and efficient. Highly recommended!

Our dog Domino is a very lively working cocker. He gets extremely excited every time he goes to mybestfriend in Andover for a stay as he has such a wonderful time playing with the other dogs. We use Danielle for all our boarding and are very happy to continue the relationship.

Danielle fitted us in at short notice and took really good care of our 7 month old puppy. He can be quite shy but we felt comfortable leaving him with Danielle and Graham and he had a great day playing with the other dogs. Thank you!

Was like dropping off my little baby off at first day at school, so was a little nervous. I had no need to be!!! I was updated with photos, showing all the fun he was having and new friends made. He came back VERY tired and happy!! 5 star service, will defo be using again!!!

Star dog sitter - loving, reliable and understanding with my active breed puppy! I have a (now 7 month) toller puppy Ruby, and sara has been like a second dogmum to ruby since I got her, helping with daycare, drop ins, and sitting her overnights here and there and even whilst i went on holiday! She has been absolutely invaluable - always reliable yet flexible, patient and kind towards little rubes through various stages of her puppyhood. Her love and kindness towards dogs is unmatched and you can tell because ruby was always soo excited to see her - she even ran across the park when she spotted her in the distance when she was out with another dog (and she never bolts off!). i also get adorable photos and videos throughout the day and rubes always comes home from daycare sleepy and happy after a fun time, lots of time in the park and mental enrichment (perfect as tollers need this to tire out) Sara was also was great at asking what we were working on at the moment and any rules we were sticking to which was soo helpful, and happy to stick to rubys routine. - sara i can’t thank you will be sorely missed and will 100% struggle to find a replacement half as good!

Sara is a wonderful human who radiates calm. She can soothe the most nervous or excited doggie or in our case, engage a ‘busy’ Jack Russell, and our Petal absolutely adored her. We can highly recommend Sunrise Wiggles and are so sorry she is moving away.

Sara is the best dog sitter we have found. We used her services with our dog that is a rescue and has some behavioural issues. She handles him extremely well and gives him so much love every time she is with him. She has every tool to make your dog feel at home and while Dublin is with her he has the best time. Walks in the country side, games to play around, and wonderful tratas every day. And what is best is her updates, she sends pictures and videos and makes a summary of every days activities which is just the cherry on top of the cake. I recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and loving dog carer. You truly can’t go wrong with her.

Sara is a delight - our puppy, Olive, absolutely loves going to her for the day. She Provides a wonderful service and I feel very confident leaving my dog with her. Only 2 dogs at a time, lots of walks, games, attention and training. I highly recommend.

Sara is awesome! Honey, a rescue, immediately took to her due to her calm, caring and friendly persona. We felt very comfortable leaving Honey in Sara’s care and could see she was having a great time from the regular picture and video updates. We were just glad Honey wanted to come home when we picked her up! Would highly recommend :)

I was nervous to leave our 6 month old Patterdale puppy, but we found Happy Waggles, and my mind was put at rest. We were very lucky as Shaleen had space in one of her 3 luxury kennels for Jingle. Jingle had a fantastic time. The actually kennels are spacious and very clean. Jingle made friends with other dogs, met the goats and Jersey cows. She played and ran and didn’t really want to leave. I don’t think she missed us much, if at all! We would highly recommend Happy Waggles from the one day and night that Jingle stayed, and she looks forward to staying for longer next time.

We've been using Happy Waggles to walk our Cocker spaniel a couple of times a week for almost a year. They're great, reliable and flexible when required. Our pup loves her walks and playing with her doggy friends :) and it's great for us knowing that she will get a nice run around when we're unable to give it to her ourselves

We are so glad we have Shaleen at Happy Waggles to look after our Springer. She is always willing to help at such short notice and is always happy to give advice when we need it. Since my dog has been going to Happy Waggles, she always comes back tired, and as we all know, springers love lots of exercise and I know that she is definitely getting that when she goes to day care there. What i also like, is the fact we get photo updates showing us how much fun our dog is having! I am now using Happy Waggles on a regular basis for day care.

The Happy Waggles team have been walking Mabel for over a year now and she absolutely loves her time with them! Mabel is now incredibly well socialised with other dogs and Shaleen’s expertise and consistency in training and recall have really helped her to become such a well-behaved and happy little dog. We are so over the moon that we found Shaleen and Happy Waggles. Our Border pups love their stays and walks with them and their fantastic dog Bert! They always come back to us smiling from ear to ear, and probably a bit better trained too!!!! They are now our go-to for dog boarding and we use their dog walking service now every week too! We cannot recommend Happy Waggles highly enough - we wouldn't be able to have a dog without them! They are friendly, professional and reliable and most of all they are fantastic with our little cocker spaniel and he loves going to them for both daycare and home stays. We cannot praise or thank Shaleen, Butch and all the family enough!

I have been very pleased with Happy Waggles for 3 primary reasons: the first & most important is that the dogs love them & have a great time every time; the second is that they've improved my dog's fairly antisocial behavior toward other dogs; & third, they've been very helpful about working around my limitations with a new baby -- they often have to step inside to help me leash the dogs or even put the dogs back into their crates if I'm not home when they return, etc. Also, I have great peace of mind that they have a key and could get the dogs with fairly short notice in an emergency (such as when I went into labor). [Feb 2017] Edit: My happiness with HW has decreased quite a lot, especially at the end of my time with them. After I let them know we'd be terminating the service due to moving back to the States, our scheduling became very erratic. One day I let them know I would likely not be around when they dropped the dogs back off because of the changed timing, & they brought the dogs back early, not saying anything about it as they handed the dogs in. I was mildly irritated but didn't say anything. A few days later they messaged me asking if I was unhappy about their bringing the dogs back early, so I answered them honestly that this is a service I'm paying for, at which point they decided they just wouldn't walk our dogs any more. Apparently they had a family member feeling poorly that day, which is understandable, but for them to ask me to be "happy" about it is a little much. They behaved as if they're doing me a favor by walking my dogs instead of as if it is a paid service. Further, by ending our dog walks early, they put a real burden on us right when we're trying to move. Terminating us early also seems like it was mighty convenient since they obviously had other dogs to juggle now and couldn't manage to keep us on the scheduled times. I can't help but be very displeased with how things ended, but the above review is also true. My dogs loved their walkies, and they really miss it. [Feb 2018]

Happy Waggles have been walking and often boarding my crazy collie for almost two years now. Shaleen and Josh are absolutely amazing with her, always accommodating last minute requests and I have peace of mine knowing she is in their hands!

My little cockapoo has been visiting Hairy Poppins for a few months now and every time we are utterly amazed at what a transformation he undergoes! As a dog that loves all things mud and puddles, he comes home after his appointment looking (and smelling) like a show dog! Thank you so much for all you do! Tracey did such a wonderful job grooming Boo. He still has his lovely long haired chi characteristics whilst having all the necessary trims done. This is definitely the best cut he has had. It is a shame that we are moving out of the area, as we would definitely have been visiting Hairy Poppins regularly. Would highly recommended!

Hairy Poppins (as well as having a great name) has been amazing with our rescue dog! He's a dog who loves cuddles and attention, but hates getting wet or being lifted, so baths are not his favourite thing! He always comes back looking super fluffy, smelling great, and most importantly very happy! Thanks Hairy Poppins!

I was very pleased with the grooming service I had from Hairy Poppins. Tracey did a fantastic job stripping my Border Terrier Molly. I will definitely be returning and Molly enjoyed herself too. Would recommend this grooming service and they also offer doggy day care. There’s parking available too.

Boots has been going to Hairy Poppins for 2 years now, and I would not go anywhere else. It is the perfect one stop shop offering best practice in doggy daycare and expert grooming. I am often stopped and asked where I had my dog groomed, I always tell them. Tracy and Sam are wonderful with the dogs, and I am able to drop Boots at the door literally as he cant get through it fast enough! He is a very happy pooch, and loves both Sam, Tracy and Sarah. A wonderful Professional Team with expert skills qualifications and knowledge but who genuinely really care for our fur babies. Would highly recommend Hairy Poppins to anyone with high standards and high expectations and who want a happy healthy dog.

Tracy is an excellent dog groomer. Her attention to detail is obvious and our King Charles Cavaliver Spaniel looks and feels wonderful after attending. Tracy is also a very kind person who has helped with advice and is also very interested in treating all dogs in a natural and holistic manner (eg her use of Reiki). I would highly recommend taking your dog to Hairy Poppins (great name too!).

Sam has been so supportive and helpful, I am new to being a doggy parent and she has given me excellent information and helped me to feel confident in my puppy parenting role. Busby loves going to day care, they are like his second family. Tracey started doing puppy grooms for Busby as soon as he was old enough, he now loves being groomed and has a great experience as well as always coming home looking fabulous.

Sam made my Samoyed, Arthur so welcome after last weekend with her he didn't want to leave 😁 I feel at ease leaving him in a home setting rather than at kennels. 5 stars, 100% recommend …

Our black lab Suzie absolutely loves Sandra and her many friends at Pack Buddies. There is so much for them to do and she always comes home tired and happy. The collection and drop off service is brilliant and we can't thank Sandra enough for her professionalism, dedication and for the pure love and joy she has for our precious four-legged family members. The biggest compliment i can pay Sandra is that she is now one of only four people that I would trust to take care of Suzie.

We were eager to get our little show cocker Frodo into a high quality doggy daycare in Southampton whilst he was still a puppy. Our main reason was for him to socialise with other dogs and to learn some good behaviour etiquette when greeting other pooches. The Pack Buddies team were great at welcoming him gently on board and we saw almost instantly how rewarding the weekly experience was for him. The Pack Buddies team don't just act as daily dog sitters, they generally care about your dog's growth and development. I love hearing the stories of all the training they get up to during the day out in the field. From emergency stops, recall with distractions to mental and sensory games. It's helped hugely on our own walks as he goes through adolescence. The plus side of Frodo being out all day means he comes home tired and spends a lot of the next day snoozing too (giving us more time to focus on our work). I'd highly recommend Pack Buddies services to anyone looking to enrich their dog's lives. You can see how happy my blue roan is in the picture.

Pack buddies offer an absolutely unrivalled service. My beagle went weekly as a pup and it was the highlight of her week. It was so lovely to have regular updates on how she was getting on and you could tell how much she loved the staff from her interactions with them when they picked her up and dropped her off. We got our dog in lockdown and her time at pack buddies was so essential for her socialisation. I know she must miss her friends since we moved away.

My dog has been at Pack Buddies since she was six months old. I’ve been so impressed at their personal care of her, the individual programme of care and training. She is always so keen to go with the staff in the morning even though she is a clingy dog. We love the fact that she is outdoors most of the day. The dogs look so happy and are always having fun in the marvellous pictures that are taken at the sessions! Best decision we made to send her Pack Buddies.

Stanley our chocolate Labrador has been going to pack buddies for a few months and he absolutely loves it. He comes home happy, tired and entertained. Sandra is absolutely lovely, she obviously adores all the buddies and puts so much energy into stimulating , helping with behaviours and keeping all the dogs happy. I cant thank Pack Buddies enough.Sandra is so patient with all the dogs, even down to the consultation, nothing is rushed until she is happy she has gained their trust. We have been sending Toby for a while now and he comes back exhausted every time. He adores Sandra and looks forward to going. He isn't the easiest of dogs yet Sandra puts in so much effort and time to build positive experiences. This isn't just day care, they are trained throughout the day. Cant rate this enough, its fab!

We've been sending our 20 month old Black Labrador Monty to Pack Buddies daycare for a little while now and it's has been great for him. It's has helped with his development (With Mat Training, Hand targeting amongst other things) and suitably tires him out. Sandra has been very good with Monty especially when Monty had a problem with not wanting to get into the Pack Buddies Van, putting in extra effort to get him comfortable with the van so that he would jump in of his own volition, and continue going to daycare. I haven't seen any other daycare that offers what Pack Buddies do nor willingness to put in so much effort for their canine clients benefit. Many Thanks Sandra.

If you need day care for you're pooch. Look no further. My dog "goes to school" as we call it, twice a week and loves it. He gets to play, is trained, so he learns lots of things and comes home tired and happy. He loves Sandra and looks forward to her picking him up. Sandra is very patient and totally gets doggie behaviour and their need for stimulation . I highly recommend packbuddies to anyone .

5* accommodation for your cats! We have been using Coxford down for years and our cats love it there. It’s so nice to have peace of mind that they’re being loved and looked after so well. Leanne and the staff are so friendly and accommodating and the cat cams are a unique feature!

Coxford Down is one of the best catteries I’ve experienced so far that I’m happy to leave my fur baby with, and I’ve had him for 7 years. I always go for them if it’s available. The staff are very friendly and they have allowed me to pick up my fur baby outside of usual hours under special circumstances (I.e. after a long flight). They’re very easy going with the final invoice. And I appreciate that I can log in to the kitty cams to check on him. The ONLY thing I wish they could do is take my kitty on walks with the harness when he’s there for a longer period of time. I don’t go on holiday much, but I recently went away for two weeks and would have liked them to walk him for 10 minutes every couple of days but they couldn’t for insurance reasons which I understand. They did however let me video call so I could let my baby know he wasn’t abandoned. You guys do great! Keep it up :)

I would recommend this cattery to anyone, especially if you are anxious about leaving your cat! The ladies at the cattery keep in touch via WhatsApp (if you want) with pictures and updates and I feel like my cat was really well looked after during her stay. The cattery is so clean and the pens are a really good size!

Stan had a great holiday at Coxford Down - the accommodation was lovely with plenty of space and he returned home happy and relaxed. We received a reassuring update at the beginning of his stay which enabled us to enjoy our break safe in the knowledge that he was content and well cared for.

A truly outstanding Cattery! On arrival we were greeted quickly by friendly and helpful staff. They showed us where our cat would be staying and engaged with our cat happily and playfully from the outset. They had already printed the notes we had sent and had a good pre-understanding of what our cat eats and likes etc. When we returned after a week, our cat was happy and was very comfortable with all the staff. The staff told us all about the stay and what he’d been up to! The room our cat had, had a webcam which was also a nice addition to see how he was doing whilst we were away. This is an amazing cattery, the suites are all kept spotless with really comfortable beds and cosy little pods which our boy spends a lot of time in. All the staff are friendly, helpful and caring and can’t do enough to make your cats stay comfortable. The webcams help keep you reassured about how your cat is being looked after. No hesitation in recommending this cattery. We also like that it is open seven days a week.

Excellent facilities and wonderful staff! We were initially a bit nervous leaving our cat at a cattery the first time, but we needn't have worried because she was incredibly well cared for by the amazing staff at Coxford Down Cattery. The facilities were spotlessly clean and having access to the catcam during our time away was very reassuring. 5* highly recommended.

My two cats went here whilst we were away on holiday for a week in June. It was recommended to me via a work colleague. Couldn't recommend enough. Staff are really friendly, very accommodating and clearly love cats. The cattery has a very homely feel and is warm and clean. The only down side is the cameras aren't great quality although this was probably a blessing as i would have spent my whole holiday watching them.

Our cat spent a week on holiday here. Cat was very happy during his stay and on return home. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will be using again. They have a cat cam so you can look in on them while your away. Usually only to see a sleeping cat lol.

We booked our two cats in with Coxford Down over the Christmas period and we couldn't be happier with the Cattery. Belle and Beau were very relaxed and didn't seem stressed at all especially as this was their first visit to a Cattery. The webcams made it very easy for us to see that they were settling in well and enjoying their stay. Leanne and the staff were so welcoming and caring which meant we had no concerns at all. We are so glad we have found a warm and caring Cattery with such wonderful staff. Thank you!
