Rich has been looking after our 2 cats when we have been away over the last couple of years. We are really glad we found him and know our cats are good hands when we are not there. Rich is super friendly and keeps us updated which keeps our minds at ease. Our cats are very nervous rescue cats and have formed a good bond with Rich over time, which we really value. We also occasionally foster cats and Rich has always been happy to help look after them as well.

We've been using Rich for years for our cats and the service is always fantastic - on several occasions he was happy to cover visits at extremely short notice and he's always been available when we needed him. Very reasonable prices, keeps everything tidied up and cleans bowels (we've had messy professional pet sitters before so I'm grateful Rich always left our home spotless). Rich is a lovely guy who is always happy to give us updates when we're away for a while. He also keeps really detailed records of the pets he cares for. So glad we found him!

Rich and the team are simply amazing. Rich has been looking after our cat Ronnie for nearly 3 years now. Our cat is very shy and only usually makes an appearance for us, and now Rich is his best friend! I simply would not trust anyone else to look after him. Forever grateful!

Amazing company, very trustworthy. Rich has been taking care of our cats for years now.even when it was at a very short notice never declined. He has kept us up to date with messages and photos as well and when one of our cats needed medication he also took care of it. Wholeheartedly recommended.

We asked Rich to check in on our cats and chickens whilst we were away for a few nights getting married. I was bery anxious about leaving them as normally a friend or family member will look after them while were away, however all that worry left as soon as we met Rich. He's an absolute gem, he came round and met everyone prior to us finalising the booking so we could ensure we were comfortable with him. He took the time to learn all of our pets names and was very thorough with ensuring they were all cared for how we wanted. Rich was really professional, understanding our chickens are a part of our family just as much as our cats. His communication is absolutely fab, and he called to check in on the first night and kept in good contact throughout. I couldnt recommend the service more. I felt incredibly relaxed knowing that Rich was looking after our little pet family while we were away. We will most definitely be using Rich for future trips.

Rich looks after the animals at our nursery every weekend. He is so friendly and passionate about what he does. The role he does for us is a bit different as he cares for pigs, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs but he is great at it and we trust him 100%. Can't recommend him enough :)

Rich has been looking after our cat for years whenever we have been away from home and provides a brilliant reliable service. I've always appreciated the fact that he keeps me informed and has always been flexible if needed at short notice.

We've used Rich & co a couple of times to visit our cats, one of whom needs regular meds. No problems to report whatsover. His fact finding and preparation is very thorough and it was nice to get a progress update on day 1 to confirm everything was ok.

I have used Rich several times to look after my Cat and Rabbit while I’ve been away. He has been great everytime. He came and met them and wrote their routines down. He visited twice a day and catered for their every need. He sent me updates and reassures me they were ok. Couldn’t ever use anyone else.

I could not recommend Little Paws highly enough! They have been absolutely fantastic. Olive has loved every single walk with Laura and always comes back very sleepy giving us peace and quiet for the whole afternoon and evening! She gets so excited every time Laura arrives to pick her up which is testament to what a great time she has. I love the photos we get sent of Olive on her walk with all her friends, its great to see them all so happy.

Laura looked after our cat for two weeks while we were on holiday and she was brilliant! She took the time to feed and play with her and I felt she was in safe hands. We loved receiving daily updates and photos. Laura is very professional and lovely. Highly recommend!

Laura & Ella are lovely people who will do their best to accommodate your pets needs. They walk my dog weekly, he loves going out with them. He sleeps well when they return with him! I went away in May and they very kindly changed my days to picking him up from Melksham instead of Corsham, as my son had my dog for the week

Being Laura's mum, I am of course bias, but I am so proud of the business that she has created. She adores every single animal that she cares for and they adore her back. So so happy I managed to find little paws pet sitting. Ella and Laura are both the most beautiful people and have the biggest heart. Ella looks after my rabbit Diego as if he is her own, I think he may even prefer her to me! I have absolutely no worries when I leave Diego with Ella and I know he looks forward to seeing her! Sometimes I have to give very little notice as I get called away with work but they always manage to make something work for me, not many businesses are able to do that. I would never go anywhere else and I now class Ella as a friend and auntie to Diego!

Our dog has been going for walks with Ella for over a year now and absolutely loves her and his group of doggy friends. We trust her 100% and will not be using anyone else, reliable, friendly and caring. Thank you Ella, Laura and Susie, Buddy adores you!

Little Paws have always been amazing. Our little pooch loves her group walks with her buddies and our cats are always very well looked after when we go away. I don’t tend to trust others with my pets but they make me feel at ease and able to leave them in their capable hands :) I would highly recommend!

I'm always nervous about leaving our cat when we go away, but I needn't have been! Ivy was cared for and loved so much, our daily updates and photos on what she'd been up to were a brilliant way to see how well she was being looked after. I will recommend Little Paws to anyone!

Emma from Charlie Paws did a great job looking after our cat and aquarium for five days. We asked for two visits per day and at each visit Emma sent photo and video updates, including videos of her play times with the cat. We could see how calm and happy our cat was in Emma's company and felt totally reassured our pets were very well cared for. I can highly recommend Charlie Paw's services.

Brilliant and very knowledgeable about my dogs and doing step by step introduction with other dogs and my 3 dogs were welcomed Brilliantly by the other dogs there and by the staff. Great prices and a great day care plan as well, Well chuffed.

Lily's has been absolutely great for our little puppy Rupert - always had such a good time, happy to assist with his medication and picky eating, and always comes back tired after such a big day! I am so impressed with the service and settings of Oak tree Kennels. I've never left my dogs before but after leaving them here I would not hesitate in leaving them here again. The staff are really friendly and understanding and go out of their way to make the dogs comfortable. They really do deserve the five stars they have

Excellent kennels my boy can be reactive and has epilepsy but the kennels managed very well with him...he is always good for them. He loves going there now and I trust them completely. The staff are friendly dogs are walked regularly and have a secure paddock for play time. I would recommend this kennels to anyone.

Our slightly nervous lab has just returned from his first time at kennels at oak tree. Matt has such a great way with the dogs and our boy loved him. We were very nervous as this is our first time ever using kennels but after a couple of trial stays we were confident we had made the correct choice. Our plane got delayed on the way back but Matt was great and put us at ease. When we collected our boy he was happy and settled back to home life immediately. He is already booked in for our summer holiday and we will have no concerns this time in Matts care.

Excellent friendly dog boarding kennels. Our Labrador absolutely loved her stay and was looking content and healthy when we picked her up. Very happy with the service we received. I'd definitely recommend.

Took all of my three dogs at short notice. Booking, check-in and check-out very easy. Kennels in a nice rural location. Very clean.

Great people running this place, my dogs always come back looking super fit and healthy from all the exercise they get! Kennels are comfy for the pups and the exercise area is huge. The rates are pretty cheap which means I'll keep coming back!

Our hamster, Cookie, has just spent the past couple of weeks at Fluffy Paws boarding, whilst we went on holiday, and I would highly recommend them if you need someone to care for your small animals. Zoe has been amazing, at not only caring for Cookie whilst we were away but also supporting and guiding my daughter in being more confident in handling Cookie. We had regular contact with Zoe whilst away, and my daughter loved receiving the photos and videos of Cookie to see how settled he was. Thank you again, Zoe, for all of your guidance 😍

We cannot recommend Zoe highly enough for the care of your small animal. Our beloved hamster Pouch stayed with Zoe for the week and where we were very worried about holding Pouch, Zoe has helped give us all confidence in handling and some excellent tips on play times. We feel extremely lucky to have found Zoe ☺️

Zoe has been the most dedicated and amazing person looking after my rabbits when we were away ! She has updated us everyday with photos, videos and messages. We knew how our rabbits were doing, how well she was taking care of them while taking them inside or outside depending on the weather. Their food has never been so diverse and they loved it ! We have introduced many many things in their diet and habits thanks to Zoe and the time she took to actually educate my partner and I about rabbits needs. Milo my eldest rabbit actually fell in love with Zoe and her husband. Very funny and cute to see ! They were amazing with them. Not the mention the price which was very very very fair considering all the care and attention they had ! I don’t think there is anyone able to compete with them. Zoe thank you so much again, you will clearly see these two little terrors again as I am pretty sure they are looking forward to it. Not to mention that Milo has always been scared of going on someone’s lap or in someone’s arm but it seems like Zoe’s house was a paradise for him! His behaviour changed and he is such a gentle and confident little fluff now. Thank you so much again!! xxxx

We are so glad we found Fluffy Paws Boarding! Zoe and Mike offer an excellent, professional, personal, and friendly service from start to finish. They really do go above and beyond – nothing is too much trouble. They are extremely knowledgeable; and it’s clear they love animals and know how to look after them. We knew our pet rabbit was in a safe and caring pair of hands. They looked after her brilliantly. Whilst we were on holiday Zoe sent us pictures and video clips of our rabbit which was great. The grooming service was excellent too, with our rabbit returning like she’d had a full service. She was so happy and content too – she’d obviously had a very enjoyable time. We highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you Zoe and Mike.

Zoe and Mike have been absolutely fantastic looking after our two guinea pigs. Our piggies have never stayed with anyone else before but Zoe's set up helped them settle in straight away, with loads of toys to play with, hay to nestle in, grass time and pen time. We were really pleased that they got lots of cuddles every day and Zoe and Mike even taught us some things they liked which we didn't know about before, like belly rubs. Zoe and Mike were super friendly and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about looking after our guineas and seemed to love looking after them, which really put our minds at rest. I would highly recommend Zoe and couldn't fault anything.

Our gorgeous Guineas spent their first stay at Fluffy Paws last week and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! Zoe and Mike went above and beyond to make sure our daughter felt comfortable leaving her most treasured pets with them, from letting her set up their cage to sending lovely photos including the sign she had made them, which really reassured her. I honestly cannot recommend Zoe and Mike enough. I dropped off my two female bunnies to them not long ago both of which we thought were mini lops. Zoe was able to tell me that actually one of them is a lop X rex which has been a massive help to us with understanding her personality and traits. Not only did Zoe manage to bond my two girls in a week, but it's literally like I've brought home two different rabbits (in a good way!!) they've gone from me thinking that they may never be bonded and never like being picked up, nails cut or anything like that to being the complete opposite. they are now best friends, beside each other and playing 24/7, are fine being handled and cuddled. Zoe has managed to achieve everything I have trying to in months and has completely gone above and beyond for me and my two girls. She also sends regular updates with pics and videos which really help when you're missing your pets. Not only is she a lovely person but she is absolutely fantastic with animals and that stands out a mile off. I cannot recommend fluffy paws enough, I am so grateful for all of the hard work Zoe has put in and I will definitely be booking in for future boarding!❤️🐇

Our house rabbit had a great time with Zoe and Mike. They are very experienced and Lola settled in very quickly and was obviously happy with her environment. We were sent lots of updates, pictures and videos so could see what she’d been up to. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Zoe for your small animal boarding needs.

Zoe recently looked after my tortoise Henry for a few weeks and did a great job! Zoe is very friendly and professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience! We got regular updates and pictures and I know Henry was well looked after. It's clear that Zoe is a huge animal lover and welfare and care are her top priority. I would happily let Henry stay again. Zoe looked after our bunnies for two nights in August. This was the first time we had really been apart from the bunnies since getting them but felt I was leaving them in safe hands. Had updates each day from Zoe about how the buns were and what they had been up to and a cluster of photos to reassure me that they were happy and looked after with time out of their hutch. Zoe did her due diligence in finding out plenty about what the bunnies were used to before their stay and was happy to continue providing the medication that one of my bunnies was on. We have booked in again this month and plan to for Christmas. You can tell that Zoe and her partner are animal people and really care about the pets in their care. I have used this place a few times now and find them to be excellent. I do not think I would ever leave my dog anywhere else. The staff are great with the the dogs thy take in and while away they send daily pupdates to give you peace of mind. All staff seem to be passionate about the animals in there care and they are given plenty of mental and physical stimulation during there stay. More expensive than kennels without a doubt, but I would sooner pay more and know my special dog is in great hands in her own room in a comfy bed.

Bath Country Pets is a wonderful retreat for your dog with the most brilliant staff who I can not recommend enough to care for your dog. Our Cockapoo Chester suffers from anxiety issues and takes time to get to know people. We have been taking him to BCP since the end of the Covid Lockdowns. It has not been an easy journey with Chester and initially he took time to get used to the surroundings and staff. However thanks to the patience of the wonderful BCP Team who gave Chester the time and space to adapt and get to know them the transformation and turnaround to where we are now when Chester visits is remarkable!! Chester now loves his visits including his solo countryside walk , enrichment and groom with all of the team particularly Lulah who has taken the time to get to know and bond with Chester. So Bath Country Pets is a must for day care or an overnight stay.

We have used Bath Country Pets many times for our dogs. I can not recommend this company and their team members enough. They are the best. Reassurance is key when you leave your dog behind it can be a worry but not with this company. The daily emails with pictures are brilliant. The people are lovely and the set up is outstanding. Henry has stayed at the hotel several times now and it’s the happiest both he and we have been during his time away from us. I love the structure they provide from the early morning routine to the morning walks, snuggly afternoons with the log fire in the winter and structured enrichment play. Dedicated staff who clearly have the dogs best interest at heart and always have a cuddle for those that are missing home. The daily pupdates by email are a very special touch which comes with a photograph so that whilst you’re away you can feel safe in the knowledge that your little furball is well cared for. I would 100% recommend Bath Country Pets every time.

We have been dog owners for over 20 years & always had uk holidays so we could take our dogs with us as we vowed never to use kennels .we had several events which meant we had to find somewhere for the dogs to stay . BCP saved the day this is definitely NOT a kennel it is a purpose built home just for dogs with spacious separate bedrooms filled with comfy beds , a lounge area with plenty of sofas , a log burner & plenty of secure outdoor areas for play ( also taken for walks with no more than two dogs per walker ) the main factor in choosing BCP is the dogs are “free range “ from 7.00am until 10.00 pm . The wonderful team treat each dog as if their own with plenty of attention & cuddles . We have used BCP for the last five years for occasional day care & staycations ,it means we can enjoy our holiday knowing that our dog is having his own holiday , as soon as we arrive Fergus does his happy dance in the car & is gone straight to meet his new friends , we are sure Fergus has post holiday blues like us !

Quite possibly the best place I have ever visited with my Teddy! Once we heard about Bath Country Pets, we couldn't resist attending the opening. WOW WOW and WOW. The owners have put so much love and attention into the dog hotel that I was just in complete ore of what they have created. It is absolutely stunning. We have now booked for our Teddy to stay and to date I have never left him with anyone but family and friends - so that shows to me how much I loved the environment in which he will be staying. On site and subsequently online I have been ordering from Bath Country Pets. Teddy is now fully ready for winter with his jumper scarf and loves his new elephant. We have also ordered a new bed, and we are waiting for it to arrive. They are all luxury and I will never have any money as I all want to do is buy more and more :) This new and very small business deserve the very best of luck, it really is wonderful and I can't wait until Ted goes to stay.

A real home from home with sofas in a communal lounge. We know that Peggy enjoys her stays as she's always excited when she arrives and can't wait to get in and say hello to everyone. That's important for me as she's a shy and slightly nervous dog. Certainly not cheap but I can see she's well cared for and happy which means I have peace of mind and I don't have to worry when we're away.

We couldn't be happier with the care our dog receives at Bath Country Pets. It's the only place he has happily stayed without us! The staff are amazing and the communication is second to none. We never have any need to worry about him while he's there 😊 …

I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff are always so helpful and have been so patient with Brucie and his separation anxiety. Brucie loves going on his walks, I love the reports we get after the walk to see how he has got on.... although today there was traffic issues when I receive these pictures I can truly see how much the staff love the doggies and really enjoy their jobs! Fabulous grooming service. So happy to discover that HPCS offer this. Our Cavapoochon always comes out happy and looking gorgeous. Great teeth cleaning process too. Chloe is lovely. Highly recommend.

Mabel has been going out for weekly walks for over a year now. She loves getting together with other dogs and gets so excited when the van pulls onto our driveway. I highly recommend heathers pet care services and always mention them to other dog owners.

Just finished Heathers pet services puppy classes as Rosemary Lodge. We really enjoyed the sessions and my pup and I will both benefit from what we have learnt. Sophie N was fantastic. She is really engaging, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions separate from the lesson content. I wasn’t looking forward to being out on a cold Wednesday evening but am now sad it’s finished. Would def recommend. Will be looking to book some of Heather’s other pet services.

We did not have the best experience with Heather’s Pet Services. We genuinely appreciated how understanding and hard working the staff were, however the customer service really let us and our two cats down. I understand this is a predominantly dog-centred service, but we were assured they could look after Persian cats and their additional specific needs. We were extremely anxious about leaving our cats alone, to the point that it’s prevented us from taking trips since before the pandemic. It took a few visits for them to get used to these and I took particular care to update our information in their online portal. After each visit we could tell the staff really took on our feedback, which was amazing. However, on arriving home after the last two visits, we found one or both cats had become unwell and left unpleasant smells and messes to attend to, definitely not a nice environment to come home to after being away. After letting customer service know about this, the response was very unsympathetic and unprofessional. We were blamed for their errors and told we were at fault for making a staff member ill with the feedback we gave previously. I have never come across a business take so little responsibility for the quality of their services (at frankly extortionate prices) or the wellbeing of their staff, and I was particularly shocked by the lack of interest in the wellbeing of our cats after the final visit. Unfortunately, we would not feel safe leaving our cats under their supervision again.

About 5 years ago our cockapoo Barney began to get very agitated whilst being groomed. This got steadily worse to the point that the groomer said they would not be able to groom him without him being sedated…. We did this reluctantly, as we hated the effect the drugs had on him. I was chatting it through with the vet as this had been going on for a couple of years and I felt that it could not be good to do this as Barney was nearing 9. A number of people mentioned that Heather’s pets had a lady who was a trained dog behaviourist and wonderfully patient grooming team. I felt it was worth a go although did wonder if the saying ‘ you cannot teach an old dog new tricks’ would be validated! Sophie a trained dog behaviourist and Chloe the chief groomer have worked wonders- between them they have taken time with Barney to ensure he is comfortable with them and in their grooming room. They have cared for him and eased him in gradually to being able to be first washed and cleaned with them and now groomed without any sedation at all! It is such a relief and I am so grateful- they always reassured me too that I was not being a paranoid dog owner and that it would be worth taking this time- and it certainly has been. We are all so thankful they are fantastic!

My dog has been having regular weekly walks with the staff at heathers pet care services. Mabel loves being collected and going out with a group of dogs. The staff are dedicated animal lovers and take great care of your pets. Mabel has a brilliant bond with whichever walker she has and get super excited when she sees them walk up our path. Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!

We have only positive things to say about both Sophie and Heathers Pet Care Services. We arranged some 121 sessions with Sophie for our little Cockapoo recently - and Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and Sophie made every session exciting. Our Cockapoo was so entertained, and we've taken all the training notes, games and general advice moving forwards and we can't wait to use the services again. Thanks again :)

We have used Heathers for a number of years now for group walking, grooming, puppy training and 121 dog training. They are all excellent and the online booking system is very helpful. Would highly recommend to any dog owners in Bath area.

Rach looked after our dog Martha, whilst we were away. We first had Rach come and home sit and feed Martha on evenings when we were out. She came round to meet Martha and was great with her. Recently we went on holiday and had a relative stay, but they couldn't walk her, so Rach walked Martha each day. She sent us picture updates and was so good with Martha. She is really understanding of rescue dogs, Martha is a Romanian rescue, and she made us feel relaxed knowing Martha was in good hands!

Rach looked after my budgie beautifully. The cage and the room were clean and tidy and the communication excellent. I already have her lined up for the next time we go away!

'It's a Dog's Life' is also 'It's a Cat's Life'! Whenever necessary, Lauren has cared for our ageing cat with efficiency and consideration since 2019. She provides an excellent, flexible and reliable service at a fair price. We highly recommend her.

We've been using Lauren and her team since she started. We've always received a fantastic, reliable, flexible and caring service for our spaniels. The boys are very much treated as part of Lauren's family and get to enjoy a wide variety of walks. Our younger dog in particular loves going out with Laurena and the team to have a good run around with his doggy pals and comes back happy and well exercised. We love that we can see Facebook and Instagram pictures of their walks. The online booking service in invaluable as its quick and easy to book walks and check which days have been booked. We highly recommended 'It's a dog's life' as we know that the boys are well looked after and having a great time without us.

If only they could talk, then our Whippet and our rescue Lurcher would tell you how much they love their walks with Lauren. We have used Lauren's services, on a daily basis, for many years; Lauren understands our sensitive and enthusiastic canine companions. We have the utmost confidence in Lauren as we know that our dogs will be kept happy and safe.

Lauren, Julie & the team have been walking & home boarding our Border Terrier since 2018. They provide a professional friendly service. They are also kind caring dog lovers & over the years we’ve known them have become our friends. Our dog loves going on walks & staying with them. He’s always eager to go out or stay with his friends. We’ve been using Lauren for over 4 years. My springer spaniels (Boomer and Thatcher) love their walks and they also loved when they got to board with Lauren too. They come home happy, exhausted and I feel completely at ease knowing she has my boys. The dogs even know the sound of her van and their tails go mental when they know she is coming. Would very much recommend Lauren and 'Its a Dog's Life' and wouldn't want anyone else looking after Charlie who has been looked after by Lauren since he was about 12wks old. She has always been very flexible and willing to adapt to our needs with Charlie as he got older, he absolutely loves going out with her and can't get in the van quick enough. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lauren to anyone looking for someone to look after their dog or cat the way you would yourself!

Lauren and her team have been a game changer for me and my pooch over the last 3/4 years. They are friendly, easy to book via the app and most importantly I trust them with my dog. Other than Danielle, I'd trust nobody to walk my dog. Danielle has been taking taking my dog out for two walks a day for nearly 9 years now and has proven to be the most kind and accomodating dog walker that you could wish for. She treats dogs like they are her own and has a real love for them. It's more than a job for her. You can't go wrong getting happy tails to walk your pooch.

Danielle really is a perfect example of someone who loves her job. Not only does she offer a fantastic dog walking service, ensuring she selects fun, safe and intriguing places for our dogs to explore. She also looks after our cat when we are away. Checking on him daily to feed, water, clean his litter tray and provide him with some company and attention. Very happy with the service we always receive from Danielle.
