Due to a family emergency, I had to leave the country earlier than I had planned, and needed a sitter to fill in the gap between my departure and another sitter. Michele responded within minutes of my posting the sit, and then we spoke and confirmed the sit within hours. Her husband, Israel, was coming from Mexico to France, while she and her kids were to come from Sweden. When Michele’s travel plans changed, and she wouldn’t be able to come with her children, she assured me that Israel would still come to look after the house and dogs. To do this, for a stay of only five days, he flew to Paris, and then to the south of France, where he rented a car and drove the rest of the way to my place. As I was already traveling, the previous sitters filled him in on the various things that needed to be tended to: caring for two dogs, tending to hens, watering 90 young olive trees daily, as well as other things. The place is big and it took me 3-4 weeks when I first moved in to figure out where things were and what to do. Israel mastered everything upon his arrival, sent me daily updates with photos of my two VERY happy dogs. In addition to all the upkeep, he managed to hike with the dogs daily. I arrived home to find everything perfectly maintained, two fit and and Israel’s guest house cleaner than it was when he arrived. Immaculate. I cannot even express my gratitude for to both Michele and Israel for such a sacrifice and commitment to do that for me. It was a very difficult time, as I was dealing with the loss of both my son and my mother. I did not worry for one second while my dogs and home were in Israel’s hands. Thank you both, so, so much. You’re welcome back anytime, with the entire family, even just for a visit, maybe just a well-deserved holiday, with no dog- or house- sitting!
David and Elynn were fabulous pet sitters and house sitters. Our dog and rabbit were well-taken care of, the house was left even cleaner than when they arrived! I would highly recommend David and Elynn, and would happily have them again! David and Elynn took excellent care of our dog Cosmo and our rabbit Oreo. They made sure they were happy, well-fed, and got exercise and fresh air! We were very happy to receive several photos of our furry friends while we were away. They took amazing care of the house and yard, and were very open with communication. If they were uncertain of anything or had a question, they were very open about reaching out! David and Ellyn were wonderful houseguests, who left the house even cleaner than they found it! I would highly recommend David and Elynn and their two adorable children. They are wonderful, respectful people who definitely love animals and will give your pets and home lots of care! Thank you!! :)
Our dog loved Angela, as did we! She was friendly, efficient, handled our large, happy bernadoodle effectively and with love...we could not have asked for a better dog sitter and would be happy to have her back.
Cristina is simply the best house/pet sitter that we have ever had. She is responsible and dependable and an experienced dog owner. Our Wheaten, Bridie, adores her and misses her when she leaves.
Cindy was great, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter experience! Communication was great both before and during the sit. Cindy was really helpful and flexible with arrival and departure arrangements. I came back to a happy dog and a well cared for house, can thoroughly recommend 🙂
Cyndi was fabulous. I'd describe her as the no fuss no muss dog sitter. While some dog sitters need guidance on every little detail, Cyndi was completely self-sufficient. She left the home in perfect shape and totally adored my pup. I'd gladly welcome her back anytime!
Wendy sat for us on three occasions this Summer and I can’t say enough good things about her. The dogs were well taken care of and she was, organized, tidy, and responsible. It’s great to find a house/pet sitter that you can rest easy knowing everything is taken care of. We are hoping she will want to spend more time in the PNW!
Joe arrived some days before I left, so I could show him some nice places in Switzerland and he had enough of time to learn all about the dogs and how to handle them. He is an amazing nice and an animal/natur loving person who took care of my dog with incredible affection when I was in vacation. I could really enjoy it, because I knew, everything is ok at home. He sent me picutres and I could see, how much fun they have together. He cooked for the dogs, mad a lot of nice hikes with them and huged them, when they need it - so he even got the trust from Artu (as a man really not easy). And not only that, he made woodruff punch for me and sowed my tomatoes and spoiled them with melt water. And he helped also the women which looked after the horses and helped her to going walk with them. Generelly he is super friendly, so everyone in the village likes him. He is considerate of your belongings and has handed the house back neatly. He is just the best. I'm so gratuful he was here. So, if you have a chance to get him as a sitter, take it. Your animals will be grateful to you and have a good time while you are on vacation. Joe, you're not just a dog sitter for me. You were so familiar to me from the first moment. We had a lot of fun and we already miss you sooooo much. I'm really looking forward to see you again in some monthes.
This was our first experience with TH and we are very pleased. From the moment Rose arrived we knew she was the right sitter for our “kids”. Communication while we were away was great with pics of the dogs as well as text messages. Rose cared for our home and our “kids” with great care, she is very conscientious of your space. Extremely pleased with the care she provided to our “kids” and our home. We have another trip planned in a couple of weeks and are happy Rose will be staying in our home again. I highly recommend Rose as a sitter!
Stephanie, Brian and baby Martin took fabulous care of our home and pets for two weeks. From the outset, communication was quick, smooth and friendly and it was clear that both Stephanie and Brian are reliable, professional and warm sitters who take all the various elements of a sit seriously. They kept us up to date with photos and messages, dealt proactively and competently with any unexpected issues that popped up, and most importantly showered our dogs and gerbils with attention and care throughout the time we were away. We returned to a spotlessly clean home (with thoughtful touches of fresh milk, bacon and bread waiting for us) and happy, settled pets. In short, we would recommend Stephanie and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive and proactive sitters for their pets and home. We would be delighted to welcome them back for another sit, should they ever find themselves in the area again.

Taylor is a wealth of knowledge and is a truly talented dog trainer. My pup and I learned so much with just one session with her. Can’t wait to do more sessions. My dog also goes to woof pack 2x a week and he absolutely LOVES it!
We could NOT be happier with our decision 3 years ago to join the Woof Pack family ! Brett, Marissa, Taylor, Delaney & crew have been nothing short of INCREDIBLE! Brett has his dogs that assist with the MEET & GREET to see if your dogs are going to be a good fit for Woof Pack ! #theysmart We started with my two 7 year old brothers & now are TRULY family as we have a baby girl from Sugar Bear (Pollingers' beautiful Golden momma) which was my very beautiful BIRTHDAY SURPRISE ! 👑 We NEVER have to worry when they are at daycare or boarding. They send us updates & fun daily photos (I think their side job is photography 🕺🏻) ! The dogs are SPOILED & LOVED like they are their own! No worries that they are locked in a crate ALL DAY (trust me - we've been there before WP🙈) The house trainings have been SUPER helpful with Brett & Marissa. You get all the tools you need & just keep practicing ! #practicemakesperfect - CANNOT wait for Taylor to come for a house training & help with our puppy !! And now there are 2 Woof Pack locations! YESSS... I go to both! Middlebury & Fair Haven ! I cannot say enough about these doggie palaces! It is like a doggie dreamland! 🦮 On top of ALL that... they are all FUN! I never want to leave at drop off or pickup (haha) ! #wearefamily Thank you to everyone at WP! Honestly, DO NOT know what we would do without you!
Taylor came to our home to help us with our 9 1/2 year-old dog and newborn. She is incredible and taught us so many new things to help ease the transition! Highly recommend.
Today Rosie (my pup) and I had the best training by Taylor Goodrich from Woof Pack daycare and Training . She was extremely knowledgeable, kind and thorough with all my concerns and challenges regarding Rosie’s training. Thank you Brett for letting us have Taylor as our trainer. Rosie just loved her! Taylor I believe you should get 10 stars. Your training was amazing. Thank you
Taylor is amazing!!!! She was great with Max and myself. Very patient and full of knowledge! She helped me feel more confident with Max. I would recommend her to anyone that needs help with their dogs!! Thank you Taylor and woof pack
Ollie, our 18 mo Cockapoo pup- LOVES spending Fridays at Woof Pack! Brett and his team make Woof Pack the happiest and safest place for everyone! A special “Shout Out” to Taylor, she came to our home to help train Ollie and us. We appreciate her expertise, knowledge and patience (with us) Great job 👏 THANK YOU Taylor‼️
Rudy has been going to Woof Pack for a few months, some days and some overnights. We are very happy with the care that Rudy gets when he is there! We gets pictures when he is there that lets us see how he is doing! We would definitely recommend Woof Pack !!
We love Brett and the Woof Pack crew!! We did private training sessions with Brett to work on our new pup who had issues with resource guarding and reactivity to strangers. Brett was so calm and skillful with the dog and humans alike! :) We learned so much about what we were doing right and what we were doing wrong, and how to be calm and confident leaders for our new puppy. Our dog made great progress under Brett’s training and now he is able to be at the Woof Pack daycare with lots of other dogs and humans. I credit all this success to Brett / Woof Pack staff and their expertise with dogs. Highly recommend!!
Brett and his staff are amazing. I have never had a dog that I could board until now. They made it simple and I never worried. The happy pictures of Molly daily were wonderful. An extremely knowledgeable group of people that love their job and the whole facility is extremely clean.
If there were a 10 million star rating on here, I'd choose it. We have a 2 year old German Shepherd, Sadie (she's our fourth GS by the way so this is not our first rodeo). We've had her since she was 10 weeks old. Sadie has never been like any of the other Shepherds we've ever had. The older she got, the harder it got for us. We have another Shepherd here with us who is now almost 12, Boka. Recently, Sadie's behavior had escalated into attacking our poor Boka. The last time she took a pretty big chunk out of his ear. Desperate, not knowing what to do, I called Brett on a Sunday night frantic and left him a message. We thought we were going to have to surrender her. Brett was very quick to get back to us, we met, two weeks later he took her for two straight weeks. He brought her to daycare every day and then home with him every night. Something we never believed in, in the past. Brett would bring her back here from time to time and see how things would go with her and Boka. Seeing him leave with her each time ripped our hearts out, but we knew we were doing the right thing. He constantly had us practice what he taught her - because now that he trained her, he needed to train us. He knew how much we missed her so I would get texts from him of pictures of her almost daily. It made it so much easier seeing how happy she looked in the photos - it was clear she was having a blast. It has been just short of two months. Brett is still checking in with us. Sadie is a new dog!! It's truly unbelievable what he has done with her. She goes to daycare 3 days a week and when she sees him she is on cloud 9. They bonded, he transformed her, he transformed us. We now are able to walk her every day. She's a different dog. She is probably going to end up, with no doubt, being the best dog we have ever had thanks to the hard work of Brett and the team at Woof Pack. I am so grateful and feel so blessed to have these people in our lives. Absolutely amazing!
The owners are great people! I think they like the dogs even more than they seem to love their customers if that is possible.
About a month and a half ago we boarded our 3 dogs at another kennel. I will not name them as many people have used them successfully but it was not a good fit for us. When our dogs returned home our youngest (who is not social) was not herself for about 2 days. I could not find anything physically wrong but she had no energy & acted depressed. One of our other dogs came down with a rash/hot spot and needed antibiotics. All 3 smelled really bad (strong kennel smell) and needed to be bathed immediately. We were planning another short trip several weeks later and didn't want to use the same kennel so decided to give The Barn a try. What a difference! It was a little more expensive but worth every penny. The owner offered to meet us and our dogs before we came. She was competent, professional and it was obvious she cares about dogs, asking lots of questions about them. When we picked them up it was like night & day compared to the last place. They were happy, playful, full of energy and there was no kennel smell. None of them suffered any ill effects from their stay. This is now our go to kennel if they need boarding. I highly recommend The Barn.
My fiance and I were getting married and knew we needed to make a game plan for our dogs for the wedding weekend and for the honeymoon. We have three dogs with all different personalities, one of them being very anxious and weary of new places and people. This sometimes makes it difficult to find a place were we would be comfortable leaving all 3 of our pups. I reached out to The Barn at Off The Hook Kennels and was immediately met with a quick professional response that they would would to help. Booking the dates with them was incredibly easy and you cannot beat their rates, its extremely well priced for what they offer. When we picked up our pups they looked great and were well cared for. They had a great time! We were so happy with our experience and didn't worry once while we were away. Now when we have boarding needs we will for sure reach out to The Barn. This place has everything you would want when boarding your dog, a big clean facility with personal space for each dog, yards to allow the dog enjoyable time outside, great rates and easy booking, knowledgeable owners who understand dog behavior and dog needs. We highly recommend!!!
Safe and secure place for your four legged family members. Clean, safe, attention to detail by people who LOVE dogs. Outdoor runs, days, nights, extended stays, even photos. Too much to list. Call them, take a tour! They live here. Security and safety. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
The folks here are FANTASTIC in their knowledge of breeding German Shepherds! Incredibly knowledgeable and the friendliest people you could ever hope to find. Their boarding facility is first rate !
They are definitely animal people and are wonderful with dogs. They went beyond our expectations to earn the trust of our dog.
Great assortment of unique tacos and a great margarita.
We were Christina’s first customers. We asked her to watch our house and dogs while we went on vacation. She came to every pre vacation meeting we offered so she could meet the dogs, gather her instructions and get a feel for our house. …
Cristina at Bow Wow Babysitters is the best! She took our 8 week old Dane in for 2 weeks (as 2 days after I got her home I broke my foot). She made potty training and kennel training sooo easy for me when we got her back. She socialized …
If I could give 10 stars, I would! We hired Cristina and Bow Wow Babysitters after seeing the incredible results other dog parents had with her training. Our 14-month-old Akita, King, was extremely reactive to other dogs, even losing …
