This was our first house/pet sit with @zeewoi and we were extremely pleased! Robert showed up when he said he would, he accommodated our timelines and our dog's scheduled routine. He left our home in excellent shape and we had a very happy, relaxed pup to come home to. It was important to us that Robert meet us via video chat or in person before we left and he went above and beyond. He sent photos of our dog, Cooper, and him throughout the sit and we could tell that Cooper was very happy with Robert. He responded immediately to our texts, giving him updates about our return. Communication is so important for making sure both the sitter and the house owners are confident in one another. Robert is very outgoing and friendly and we have 100% confidence in him to look after our home and our dog when we are away. We look forward to Robert providing another future home sit.
Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Kelly was dependable and showed up exactly on time. The house was well maintained and clean when we arrived home. We would definitely host Kelly again.
Sharon was an excellent sitter who I knew was taking great care of my two dogs while away. She walked them, was a clean guest, and sent regular pictures and updates. I’d recommend her to anyone.
Theresa is a reliable and experienced pet sitter in addition to being great at keeping house! She was very accommodating in meeting me & the dogs in advance of our sit, which proved she is a true pet person: attentive to my dogs and eager to know how they should be cared for. She kept me posted while I was away & I returned to a tidy home & happy dogs! I highly recommend her!!
Angela Gandolfo and Erica Piazza came to stay at our house while we were away on vacation for two weeks. Our two dogs are a handful, but these two lovely women took such good care of them. They spoiled them even more than we do, which is perfect. We got photos every day, and when we came home our house was tidy and there were clean sheets on the bed. I couldn't have asked for better house and pet sitters than these two women. They communicated well with us, and if they had questions, they asked. It was a pleasure to work with both Angela and Erica. We had to cut our vacation short because of a death in the family. It was really stressful, but once again, Angela and Erica were flexible and understanding. It made a difficult time easier, knowing that things at home were being managed so well. I'm hoping that if we ever have to go away again for such a long time, I will be able to get these two back here again! (hint hint) Thank you, Angela and Erica!
We loved Misty!!!! She was absolutely the most perfect baby sitter for our dog and an amazing short term tenant at our house. Not only did she keep the house clean but she even washed everything she used before we got home. We even got a couple gifts from her. She is such a sweet human, kept in contact with us while we were gone and sent videos of the hikes and walks they went on. I would 100% ask her to stay at our house again
Cyndi was fabulous. I'd describe her as the no fuss no muss dog sitter. While some dog sitters need guidance on every little detail, Cyndi was completely self-sufficient. She left the home in perfect shape and totally adored my pup. I'd gladly welcome her back anytime!
Wendy was the perfect dog sitter and house sitter for us. She managed our house and dog and in such a caring a responsible way. Wendy was prompt with communicating with us and managed situations that arose professionally. Our house was spotless and our dog happy when arrived home. I knew everything thing was in good hands while we were away. I hope we can invited her to stay with us again.
Stephanie, Brian and baby Martin took fabulous care of our home and pets for two weeks. From the outset, communication was quick, smooth and friendly and it was clear that both Stephanie and Brian are reliable, professional and warm sitters who take all the various elements of a sit seriously. They kept us up to date with photos and messages, dealt proactively and competently with any unexpected issues that popped up, and most importantly showered our dogs and gerbils with attention and care throughout the time we were away. We returned to a spotlessly clean home (with thoughtful touches of fresh milk, bacon and bread waiting for us) and happy, settled pets. In short, we would recommend Stephanie and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive and proactive sitters for their pets and home. We would be delighted to welcome them back for another sit, should they ever find themselves in the area again.
Oh my Goodness! Where to begin. Linda was the perfect house sitter for us and the perfect pet sitter for Olivia! She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. When we returned from out two week vacation all our plants were alive, the garden was alive, the birds and fish had been fed regularly, and the dog was alive and happy! What more can you ask for, right? Well with Linda you get all that and more. Updates as you request - even videos of her morning walks with Olivia. The house as spotless as we left it, maybe even better! Even the porches were clean! Linda is a genuine treasure and our recommendation would be 10 stars if there were that many!!

The staff continues to impress with their dedication to ensuring each pet's individual needs are met, providing personalized attention and care throughout their stay. With Birch Hill Pet Resort, I can confidently leave my dog knowing they are in the best hands possible. A five-star boarding experience all around!"
They take such good care of our boy Gus. He has been boarded there a few times and goes 2-3 times a week for daycare. The owners know the dogs and do a great job of keeping them active and monitoring them to be sure they are with the right play group.
They are amazing, my very high energy, very needy and particular rescue pup Harper has been going here since we got her 3 years ago, she looks forward to daycare and is treated like the princess she is at Birch Hill! She is typically people reactive and has done amazing here with the staff, they go above and beyond for her!
Birch Hill is awesome! I have 2 dobermans and have boarded them there multiple times and never have to worry! They are super accommodating and very reasonable with their pricing. My girls always come home happy and i’m always satisfied with their wonderful customer service. Thank you Birch Hill for being great!
Birch hill is great! I didn’t worry once about my boy knowing he was in the best hands. They went above and beyond to help him through his first time being away from us. Thanks for being a safe place to stay when our dogs can’t come with us!
Fist time we used this facility, I have know the owner for a few years so when my wife and I had the opportunity for a vacation we knew where we could trust to leave our Lab/Shep mix for a week. We let Mike know that Lacey had some dog anxiety and he gave me plenty of updates, especially satisfying was that our dog was able to make friends. She had a great time for 7 days, she was obviously tired of all her play time. Won't hesitate to use Birch Hill again!
It’s hard to drop off your old guy that’s never been to a overnight kennel stay in his entire 9 years!! Birch Hill Resort has exceeded our expectations and how happy my guy was and so energetic when I picked him up showed that they did such an amazing job caring for him! They’re reliable, professional and very caring.
Our German Shepherd puppy, Arya, has been going to Birch Hill Kennels for daycare for a little over a month. They take such good care of her. We were worried she’d not enjoy it since she loves to bark at other dogs and people, but we have noticed such an improvement with her. She is excited when we arrive to get out and see them and is always exhausted from the fun she has there when we pick her up. The owners are so nice and really do care about the dogs in their care. I would recommend them to anyone.
Wow! Just wow! We Have an 11 week puppy and had a date night planned for overnight. Birch hill took her (on barely any notice, when I was sure I’d have to cancel our hotel). The kennels were clean, the owners and staff We’re friendly and professional, and my pup loved it! She’s curled up on her doggie bed all tuckered out from her stay. Can’t wait til she’s old enough to get her shots so she’s able to do doggie day care!! Thank you Birch Hill!
1st time boarding my 1st puppy. Lots of nerves, he did fantastic though. Quick responses when checking in as well. Highly recommend!
My dog went to doggie daycare here almost everyday of the week for a year. I loved how flexible Shawn, the owner, was. The playground is huge and he has a giant barn for when it’s raining, my dog was always super eager to go there in the morning and always slept the entire way home. I always felt very safe when dropping her off that nothing would happen, he feeds the dogs, and updates you when picking your dog up on how the day went! Highly recommend bringing your dog, they’re definitely in good care and will come home happy. Couldn’t have picked a better daycare for my favorite girl ❤️
We were worried we would not find a place to board our reactive 3 year old rescue Jindo dog Aja so we could attend a family wedding in the area. Sean made it easy and it was great to work with! We visited DHDD about a month in advance to meet the team and view the facilities as we live a few hours away. The play yard was clean and well kept. The sleeping area was also immaculate and welcoming for the pups. Aja immediately took to Sean on the first meeting and played well with his other pups. This was a sign that she was comfortable so we were too. The drop off was easy and stress free. There is a Hannaford nearby which allowed us to get her fresh dog food locally. We picked her up a few days later and she was sad to go! A great experience and we whole heartedly recommend Sean and DHDD!
My dog is older and has separation issues and DownHome Doggie Daycamp is a dream come true. Shawn, the owner, obviously loves and understands a dog's emotional needs. It’s a relief to know that my “best friend” is in a safe and comfortable home environment. Even if I lived in Massachusetts or Vermont or Maine, I would still travel to Hill, NH to board my dog at DownHome Doggie Daycamp. Thank you Shawn!
I take my dog, Alex, to DownHome Doggies all the time. He spends the day there a few times a week and I board him there when I have to travel for business. The staff is very courteous, flexible and accommodating. Alex is much more social now and gets along great with other dogs as a result of spending time there. I'm very glad I found DownHome Doggies!
Three words to describe this place: 1. A 2. Maze 3. Ing!!!!! They gave out dog so much love and attention, it was amazing...were using them again this weekend, and thinking of bringing out dog there for"play dates"...tons of room and big hearts in owners
Great place for your dog. A fun, safe environment the staff takes care of the animals as if they were their own. Highly recommended.
The owner really cares about the dogs and did a wonderful job welcoming my puppy.
Great place..my dog loves coming. Shawn is wonderful!!
Indoor tiny pup housin offered for toy breeds.
Great guy nice to talk to you
We love Kellie’s! This was a little dog’s first grooming experience, and I was nervous she wouldn’t be able to groom her, but she did great. We’ve been going ever since!
Lisa is so patient with my husky shepherd mix. She is knowledgeable on fur/ skin and nail issues and how to manage them and does such a great job! My dog is obviously a bit of a shedder, but she manages to get him looking beautiful every time. So happy with her service!
Always satisfied!!! Every time I pick Daphne up after just a bath or a complete cut, she always looks and smells wonderful ! I totally trust Lisa to give the best of care and the best grooming of Daphne!!! I totally recommend this talented young business women. She is a successful business women because she is devoted and dedicated to her canine clients! Maggie Rushbrook and Daphne
Had my first visit with Lisa today to get my dog's nails clipped. Not only was she super fast, friendly, and informative, but her price was more than fair. I'll definitely be back!
I wouldn't go anywhere else! Owner & groomer (Lisa) is very accommodating. She runs her operation in such a way as to not have more than one other customer pet in the shop at a given time. The dog is put in a pen, not a crate. For all these reasons, as well as the gentle way my dog is handled, I choose to use Kellie's Grooming.
It was hard for me to get in contact with other groomers in the area, and I am SO glad I found Kellie’s! They responded immediately, got my dog in within a week, and out of all the places I’ve gotten my dog groomed (between different states and city groomers), none of them compare to the price, speediness, and quality of Kellie’s! Super friendly staff as well. :)
Needed a nap clip for our Pup. With COVID finally allowed her to open she took us in immediately. No appointment was necessary since it was only his nails. Tipped her 150% . Well earned. We now have a new groomer.
Lisa did a wonderful job on our girl. Hand drying is much less trama than cage drying technique. Our girl looked gorgeous for the wedding. Thank you so much.
She is very very nice. However, I used her service and she did a nice enough job but I then sent my friend there and she groomed her shih tu and the dog looked like a 5 year old did it. Kinda bummed about that so probably won't recommend her again.
Love Lisa Glad we found her we are pretty picky when it comes to our fur babies and she does an amazing job with them. Bella and Brady love her as well.
Brought my young Aussi pup there for his first grooming. I explained that I wanted him to be given a bath, cut and brush out. I particularly asked them to trim the long hair around his feet and toes. When I picked him up, he really didn't look much different than when I had dropped him off. The foot trimming didn't happen because they said that he was nervous and wouldn't let them touch his feet. I brought him there because they're supposed to be the "professionals" and figured they had dealt with a puppy's first groom before. After still being charged full price for the "grooming", I left quite disappointed. I brought him home and after two minutes of gently introducing him to the vibration of a trimmer, he was calm and very cooperative. I ended up easily trimming his feet myself. I won't be bringing him back there.
After reading reviews, I was hopeful that I had found a great spot to groom my puppy. We will never be returning. Upon arrival, a woman came out, asked who we were, said “oh I see,” and went to grab his leash and whoosh him into the back. I stopped and told her it was his first time for a full groom and stressed that all I wanted was for it to be a positive experience and that if it stopped being so, to call at any point and I would come pick him up (and would of course pay for the full groom). She handed me an info card and told me to fill it out and leave it on the counter. Did not even ask what I wanted done in terms of grooming. My puppy is extremely confident and has done well experiencing all sorts of new things. When I picked him up he crawled over to me, peed all over himself, and was not his happy confident self. I was told how nervous he was and that he was freaking out about the grooming rope around his neck. He has been nervous of new people since being there (which has never been a trait of his). I have worked in a grooming and boarding facility, and this is not one I would recommend based on our experience.
Do not ever bring your dog here!! We have a new puppy, 6 months old and brought him for just a bath and trim hair ONLY on the privates. The girl, McKenzi , went on about how she loved his coat, and I told her over and over again not to cut. My wife had been grooming him but recently broke her wrist so we needed help. He was brushed out daily so there was no matting at all. He is a beautiful Cavapoo and looks (looked) like a Teddy Bear. The only thing I asked was “to just cut a little around his eyes so he can see, just a couple hairs”. She shaved his nose down to the skin! He looks ridiculous!!!! I’ve NEVER seen this ever. It is barely starting to grow out and it’s been 2 months!
I've been going to Kim since she first opened. She has been great with any size dog I have brought in to be groomed. Fabulous facility, too.
They took great care of our five month old puppy when we had to go away for the night. Super nice ladies working there! Maple seemed to enjoy herself and seemed to get plenty of attention. Very fair price for the boarding and we will definitely be bringing her back.
Great staff, and handled our large german shepherd very well. Our big boy is scared to get his nails clipped, and they did a good job in less than 15 minutes. Will definitely have them do his nails for now on. Good prices, staff, and quality care.
Great place to board your dog! They gave my golden One on one attention and I could tell the person really cared. She even sent me pics of my dog which I really appreciated! The kennels were also clean and the place is not extremely large so it’s not as intimidating.
Kim & her staff were just awesome w/our 8 yo lab! They were friendly, informative and even gave me a heads up re: the busy summer schedule. I was able to pre-book our pup’s next appt. We’re looking forward to going back!
I absolutely love Kim. She was great when I left my 2 big dogs since one has never left my side for 7 years and the Shepard/hound is 5 1/2 m old is a big baby. It was hard for me so she said they will be taken care of which they were greatly. Kim told me straight up how they were when I called everyday sometimes twice a day. Lol thank you doggie designs.. oh n they will be coming back for any of my needs..
Our dogs always come back perfect! Couldn't recommend Doggie Designs more. She is extremely professional yet personal with each dog. We had an extremely difficult dog with anxiety and she still took him and did a fabolous job in making sure he was comfortable during his grooming experience!
They were absolutely wonderful to our dog. It was his first time being left overnight in this type of facility. Our dog needed a larger room because he felt confined in the small dog area. They accommodated his needs by moving to the largest room, without alarming us while we were enjoying my brother’s wedding.
We had sent our kitten there for 4 days as he was just a little too young to stay home and he was still getting wet food and milk. When we dropped him off the person at the front seem to be in a hurry and didn’t listen at all. Just rushing through the process and basically took the cat and just didn’t let us say goodbye and then we were just expected to leave. By the time we came back To collect him. Carrier that he was brought in was completely destroyed that we had Bought brand new a few weeks ago the inside was covered in cat litter and there was scratches on the outside of it. As for his bed That was sent with him. It came back, completely drenched and sticky, and some thing that we have no clue what it was. We had to take it to the laundromat to get cleaned, and he now refuses to lay in it. Also, all his toys were wet and disgusting. The food we sent him with was just enough to get him through the week a little bit more actually and came back with over half of it. Meaning that they did not listen to the feeding schedule. When he got home and we gave him food, He was eating as quickly as he possibly could. I would say to never send your cat here because they obviously do not listen to your instructions and do not take well care of any animal that isn’t a dog.
Amazing facility and an even better staff! Whether is day boarding or an extended stay or dog is always excited to be greeted by the familiar and welcoming faces at Lake Region Pet Resort. We are always more at easy when traveling knowing our furry family member is in such good hands.
After nearly 10 years of loyalty to another local pet resort a couple of unfortunate occurrences left us looking for a new place to care for our puppy Mastiff. We researched and interviewed multiple kennels and pet resorts from Concord to the Lakes Region and when we had the opportunity to meet with the owner of Lakes Region Pet Resort we knew this would be the place to care for our pup any time we are away! Cindi was more than happy to meet with us to discuss our needs and even took the time to show our two young daughters the entire property including where their best friend would be staying while at the resort. All of the staff is beyond friendly and they are always excited to see our pup when we arrive! Even better than that, our pup is just as excited to get out of the car to play when we arrive at the resort! Cindi has been more than accommodating a number of times in helping us with reservations, whether on short notice or far in advance. The cleanliness of the facility, compassion for our puppy and overall fantastic experience we’ve had time and time again leaves us feeling completely confident and worry-free anytime we are away from our dog. We strongly recommend leaving your furry friend with Cindi and her staff at Lakes Region Pet Resort anytime necessary. They will treat your pet as their own!
We were in a bind last minute for a wedding after our boarding plans fell through. We heard about lakes region pet resort through neighbors who highly recommended them! We called on the phone one week earlier than we needed boarding, knowing they likely wouldn’t be able to accommodate us since it was so last minute. Not only did they accommodate us, but they got our girls in for an earlier start time so we could make all of the wedding activities. They ensured the dogs were up to date on vaccinations (which we appreciate!) and asked about each dogs temperament and habits to be sure they were exercised with “like” dogs. It was great to log into Facebook and see a post welcoming our two girls as if they were their own! Plus, what dog parent doesn’t appreciate a few photos while they’re away!? We knew leaving them would not be easy but we were quickly reassured that the facility was clean, large, and secure. The staff were incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions. If you are in the lakes region and need overnight boarding or even daycare, I would not look any further. You know your fur babies will get lots of love and attention while being cared for. Thank you all for watching our girls (Mya and Kyra)! We cannot recommend you enough!
We recently boarded our four dogs, and we were very pleased at their experience! ALL dogs were happy, calm upon returning home, after a weeks stay. We will definitely be back again for boarding! Thank You for taking great care of our babies.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great staff and clean environment. My dog can be nervous around other dogs, but the staff does a good job of keeping him with dogs he's comfortable with. I highly recommend LRPR!
Super clean, you can tell the staff love animals. Our puppy was there for just a day, but we will not hesitate to bring her back. Our dog was happy and tired!
Our dog loves this place. They take good care of him. I wish they would do a spa too. It's much more convenient for us if they clipped his nails. But they don't unfortunately.
Wonderful nurturing environment for dogs. We have boarded our high-energy Corgi here for both long (2 weeks) and short (2 nights) stays, and have always felt she was well cared for.
What they report to happen at daycare and what is actually happening are two different things. The staff themselves are wonderful, but communication from ownership and management is very alarming. At first, they were very accommodating with our new puppy, but after six months of him being there, and being told everything was going well and that he was doing great, I got an unexpected email saying that my dog wasn't the right fit for their environment and gave me three days notice saying they could no longer care for him there but for an additional fee, they could transport him to their other location. The owner told me she did not know the details of the reasons, and to speak with a manager when I picked him up. This was definitely not the first email I got where their staff communication was very different from what I received from the owner. This was also concerning because when I picked up my dog the same day I got the email, the staff were saying how much they loved him and how great he was doing in their facility. When I spoke to the manager on my dog's last day, they said that his puppy behaviors weren't the right fit for their environment, which sounded crazy to me. I was told that he is a great dog and very smart, but gets overstimulated in their environment, and how he needed to be separated when he became overwhelmed and would bark. Again, this was the first I was hearing that they were isolating my dog and not telling me. And being told everything was fine the entire time. I had consistently sent him for two days per week minimum for daycare, and are overnight on the weekends while I work. This left me with no time to plan ahead and had to change my work schedule so that he was not in a kennel for long periods of time. This was a very negative experience and the lack of communication and transparency is alarming.
I bring my dog here at least 3 times a week. My dog came home last week violently projectile vomiting after daycare. I took my dog to the emergency vet as soon as it happened and they got diagnosed with Giardia, though I can’t cannot confirm it came from the facility that is the only place he goes consistently. I won’t be bringing my dog back to this daycare.
Our dog Maya has been coming to daycare here once a week for over a year and she absolutely loves it! She is always so excited when she realizes she's going, so I can tell she enjoys her time there. All the staff members are super nice and I love hearing updates when I pick her up on how her day went. I can tell that she is extremely loved and cared for here, which is a wonderful feeling. We love The Four Paws Inn!!
My dog Luke loves it here! The staff are amazing and so welcoming. Luke was having trouble with groomers he wasn't familiar with but he now comes home from each boarding overnight looking fresh and well groomed after his spa days! My family all sends their dogs here. We are very loyal to FourPaws
We have been bringing our dog here for about a year now- He seems to absolutely love it. The crew that works there is very nice & professional supporting success for their dogs. We highly recommend it!
Our 7 mo old golden retriever puppy has a riot there, needed socialized and exercise, is worn out after a day of playing, best thing we could have done for him, play pen is supervised so no chances of him getting bullied or hurt, unlike a dog park. He goes 6 times a month, gives us a break too. Highly recommend,
I boarded my dog with them he was up in Albany and he came home such a happy happy boy they take wonderful care of the dogs
The absolute best! My dog has been going once a week for daycare for a couple of years now. He loves it and we love it!
My puppy has been going there for dog daycare since spring and she loves it. She is so happy and tired when I pick her up. They were very patient with her and give her lots of love.
We love the Four Paws Inn! They have been fantastic with our dog. They take great care of him and he is always eager to go there to play! He will literally jump out of the car and fight his way IN to the facility to go play with every one! They have been such a wonderful resource for our family and we appreciate the time and attention they give to our dog!
