I have always found Lynn and Rog to be professional in every way. I cannot imagine taking my pets to anyone else. The negative review made 4 days ago does not reflect the excellent care that they take with other people's precious pets. I personally do not believe a word of it Plus, if your experience was negative on several occasions why keep taking your dog back.

Excellent day care for dogs. Very friendly and my dog gets very excited when he sees the owners. Would definitely recommend very highly.

I saw the previous post and just wanted to say that I was sorry you had that experience with Waltham Rambles but Lynn and Roger have looked after our dog for the last 5 years, for daycare and boarding and we have nothing but praise for the way they have cared for her. We have found them so accommodating and committed to providing the best care possible and we are very grateful for this. Our dog looks to them as her second home.

***DO NOT USE*** Rude and unreliable. It saddens me to have to do such a review, however, I feel the need to share my experience. Earlier this week I enquired with Waltham Rambles to see if they could take care of our 10 week old puppy as we had booked a UK holiday but unfortunately we didn’t realise our accommodation didn’t accept pets. Lynn was very accommodating at first…offered a trial day then after a successful day she said she would look after Barney for us whilst we went on holiday. First and second day were absolutely fine, regular messages and updates saying how good he was being. Then we get to today (the third day)…I messaged Lynn to see how Barney had been and the response I received was simply rude and upsetting. To hear from a ‘professional’ dog carer that our puppy was being an ‘absolute nightmare’ and driving Lynn and Roger ‘insane’ was very very upsetting. This message was followed by ‘I will never offer to have a puppy at short notice again, and definitely not for £25 a night!’ I responded offering more money for them to continue to taking care of Barney but Lynn replied ‘I’d rather someone just came and got him’. Whilst I appreciate puppy’s are more work than an older dog, Lynn and Roger were fully aware of his age when agreeing to look after him. Of course he’ll cry when you leave the room or he can’t see you. I don’t have a degree in dog care but I know he would require a little extra care than an older dog. The most frustrating part is we later received a message saying how much she cares about Barney’s welfare which wasn’t mentioned at all at first but actually how much he was driving them insane!! Now, our family holiday as been cut short and we’re over £1500 down as we can’t have Barney away with us. My husband collected Barney and was greeted with ‘well we just couldn’t get on with him’. Barney is a beautiful puppy cockerpoo who is just a baby himself. I trusted Lynn to take care of him whilst we were away but instead all I received was rude messages. Such a shame as I know how well thought of the business is in our local area, however people need to know the above before booking.

Waltham Rambles is a brilliant home away from home place for dogs. It didn’t take Lynn and Roger long to make Boy feel loved, relaxed and settled when we left him for a 5 night “sleepover” for the first time. We were worried that he would struggle with being away from home and separation from us as he was bit of a velcro dog. But we didn’t need to worry - Lynn and Roger were just brilliant. Ever since Boy is always very excited every time we take him to Roger and Lynn. Not only we have a piece of mind that Boy is well looked after when we have work commitments, Boy has also become more independent and confident having spent some time at Waltham Rambles 🐾❤️

Very caring & trusted family run business. I always feel comfortable leaving my dog with them whether it's for a day, the weekend or for a week. They even send photos to show how happy my dog is. Wouldn't leave my dog anywhere else.

Lovely people who take their responsibly of looking after our beloved dogs very seriously. I trust them completely with my baby boy.

Had a good visit was given history of the place explained how it all runs all in all very helpful and put my mind at ease leaving my fur babies will be a lot easier than I expected doesn't mean I won't miss them like crazy and guaranteed to cry when I leave them

Levi loves going to Lynn and Roger. I wouldn't trust anyone else to have him whilst I'm out. Fab socialization x

My 2 labs went and came back shatterd. So they must have had a good time.

My dog has been going to Debbie for nearly 4 years and she takes great care of him. He has a great time and loves going.

My Dalmatian Marshall has regular stays at Becky's kennels. I've always worried about leaving him anywhere as he's not an easy dog to manage, but the staff are brilliant with him. He is always happy to go and I know he's safe and well looked after. I wouldn't send him anywhere else now!

I was nervous about leaving my 38kg Rottie X but when picking him up after 2 days he didn’t want to leave

Our dog Teddy recently stayed at Barnetby Boarding kennels and we would highly recommend. Ella is fantastic and a credit to the kennels. Our son was very upset when we left Teddy and she did her best to reassure him. On collecting Teddy it was clear she had made an impression on him too, he followed her while she was collecting his things, thank you Ella. Thank you also to Becky. She promtly sent photos on reqiest and put our minds at rest that he was ok while we were away. We were apprehensive about using kennels, as Teddy is our baby, but without a doubt we would use Barnetby boarding kennels again. Thank you so much for taking good care of our fur baby

My doggo goes here on a 4 on and 4 off basis, Becky is wonderful, very helpful and flexible with hours. Has helped me out with doggy care at last minute due to nature of my job. Doggo howls on way to the kennels, so I'm guessing he loves the place.

Our 2 Westies have stayed a couple of times now , they seem to enjoy it , you can always tell when they run down the path to go in and it puts you at ease when you know your babies are being looked after

Friendly, professional and caring. Snoop and Danny my two dogs love being at the kennels! All dogs are walked twice a day and are cared for by Becky Lennox, owner of Barnetby boarding kennels. Lovely, family run boarding kennels, will always use them! x

Becky is the most trustworthy kennel keeper I have ever met. I don't leave my dogs with anyone else!

Only place we take Fletcher and he loves it always knows where hes going can't fault becky or her service always 1st class

My Weimaraner stayed for a couple of nights (first time in kennels) and seemed to enjoy it!

Very helpful service. Could accommodate us on the same day whilst we were on holiday. Lots of space for dogs to enjoy. Our dog made some new friends today! Current prices for day care: £25 for 7 hours or £30 for 9hours Home boarding is also available. Would recommend highly :)

Excellent transport and assistance provided by Michael for my first ever dog! He drove from Sheffield to Canterbury, stopping off at two service stations so my dog could exercise and make some mess! The car used was very smart and comfortable.

I have had the most amazing trip to pick my puppy stray up from Zante and drive all the way back to Yorkshire. My driver/courier, Norman was fantastic. The whole process went smoothly, safely and was a trip of a lifetime. They organised every last detail to ensure the dog and myself were comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommend this fantastic company. Expensive but SO well worth it. Thank you.

I travelled with my dog from Sweden to Wales. They were very professional and organised and even remembered our names when we would call. No issues with booking etc. Were given plenty of information and contacted by the driver days before which was reassuring. He arrived in a branded van and clothes which reassured me (I am a young woman) and was very professional throughout. The van was clean and well equipped for transporting my dog and we took regular breaks around every 4 hours. Well worth the money and would definitely use c four paws again. Thanks/Diolch!

We had Milo collect from London on Sunday with two cages and a carry cage and lots of toys. Milo was perfectly happy and items were in good order. Collected on time and delivered on time. Excellent service and driver was very nice. Highly recommended for animal transport. Will definitely use again if the need arises. Good job thank you

Calagran Four Paws and my driver Will were absolutely amazing at handling our cross country transport for a long distance move. Having a rather large Staffy x Old Tyme, who had sadly had to be exempted due to her size, I was even terrified to take her on the road in anything other than proper transport. And with it being such a long way I wanted a safe long distance option also for all round safety and comfort. Our needs were catered for with the upmost care and Will was absolutely amazing with my nervousness and with my lovely girls nervy nature. I couldn't have been happier and I plan to travel with them again. I can highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this company. I just endured an incredibly stressful and long importation process into Europe and finally into the UK with my 3 med/large breed dogs. CFourPaws went above and beyond to help me logistically with things they really didn't have to and was outside of their services. Provided much needed emotional support and were empathetic to my unforeseen financial costs. Really without people like Keith and Greig, I may have crumbled under the stress of it all. BIg animal lovers, BIG hearts and can't fault them. Thanks CFourPaws x

I have been bringing my dogs here for a few years now. They are always happy to come back and I love that the kennels share photos with you of your pets. The drop-off was very useful

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. In a medical emergency you were the first kennels we found after literally 100's of phone calls with spare capacity to take Casper while his mum had an emergency operation to remove a brain tumour. The 10x photo's you sent us showing him happy & thoroughly enjoying a run in the secure field were a huge relief to his dad & a massive boost to his mum's immediate recovery.

We recently used C Four Paws to transport our dog Adi from Glasgow to Heathrow for her trip home to Canada. David was a very kind and professional driver and got us to the Kennel at Heathrow on time in spite of some unavoidable traffic delays along the way. We’re back home with Adeline safe and sound and are very grateful for having used the services of your company and David for the first leg of our trip.

An absolute lifesaver when it came to transporting me and my cats from Dublin to Somerset. There was fantastic communication the entire time during the booking process and our driver Clive was incredible! They made what was a very stressful move for me and my cats, a very easy time and I cannot thank Clive and the whole team enough.

We had 2 small border terriers, Phyllis & Archie who used to go into a lovely kennels near us. Then sadly we lost Phyllis and Archie was lost without her. The lady at the kennels told us that Archie would not be able to stay with her on his own as she would be very worried about him, as he is such a nervous dog, made all the worse because of Phyllis not being there as his security. She suggested Barking Mad home boarding and we immediately rang them. Claire came out to see us to meet Archie and took every detail about him. We explained how worried we were about leaving him and she said she understood as she has 2 dogs of her own. Anyway we had a trial 2 nights and he was fine, so we went ahead and booked with her for our next holiday. She sends photos of Archie when we are away and keeps in touch throughout to give you peace of mind. Archie now seems to love his 'holidays' as much as we do! The service that Claire provides is professional, friendly and caring. I would now not go anywhere else.

Really like the Barking Mad service - my terrier Maxie always enjoys his "holidays" and l have the peace of mind knowing that he is in good hands. Will use every time l go away and recommend to all dog owners - especially if your dog (or you) are on the nervous side and don't want to use a kennel.

I have used Claire's barking mad service a couple of times now and it is given me the peace of mind to go away more often without feeling guilty about leaving him behind. Really well organised and extremely good value for money. Overall hard to fault!
