I have been bringing my dog since he was a puppy, and now he is 15 months old. He is always so happy to jump out the car and run over to greet Debbie. I have even boarded Walter when travelling over seas and overnight trips. The value for you money and peace of mind knowing your furry is safe, played with and taken cared for. No cages. Would highly recommend!

My dog Boomer loves it here. When I drop him off he can't wait to get out of the car. We have had bad experiences in the past at other doggie day care places, where our dog got sick with kennel cough and the fur was matted. Not here amazing care. Debbie and her partner treat every dog like they are theirs. Boomer loves them both. I have no hesitation in leaving our dog here for a day or overnight.

We’ve been boarding our two huskies Hugo and Harley at the Dog Pad & Paddle for two years now. Debbie, the owner is a gem, kind, communicative and most importantly wonderful with animals. We highly recommend the Dog Pad & Paddle to anyone looking for a safe and great environment for their pups while away.

My husband and I bring our dogs to Dog Pad and Paddle. Both of our labs have extreme separation anxiety and we are always so worried about leaving them. Our first time leaving them was back in November for a week. From the first time I met Debbie, I felt very comfortable. Our dogs love going to dog pad and paddle. They have been slowly easing out of their separation anxiety thanks to Dog Pad and Paddle. Plus they are always exhausted when we pick them up which is great too (as most dog parents to labs would understand lol) Also very reasonable pricing. 10/10 recommend!

My dog is here 3-4 days a week. She is so happy and well behaved. She is so excited when we pull in the driveway. This place is a godsend for keeping a healthy happy dog!

Usually have had no problems. I leave my here dog for the holidays because my parents dog doesn’t interact well with other dogs and they have a smaller house. Then we bring our dog along with us to my boyfriends so he can spend holidays with us rather than be caged up for 3 weeks. This was not an issue last year. This year however, it would be a bit of an understatement to say the owner wasn’t flexible with us. She was a bit rude with us as well. I called 2 weeks out and gave an ETA The day we were supposed to arrive we got stuck behind a semi collision for 6 hours. I called her at 2:00pm and told her we would be arriving at 10:00pm with the reason and she said “that’s so late” and tried to make us feel bad because she wanted to except business before her hours the following day “my next customer comes at 5:00am tomorrow…this stuff is hard” I wouldn’t disagree but her hours are posted as 6am-11pm. I was within those hours.

Willow's, 1-year-old Golden Retriever, first sleepover and it was great. I didn't worry, they sent pictures and updates on how she was doing and they were very accommodating with the drop-off and pick-up times. Willow was burnt out from all the fun. The following day all she did was sleep. I will be using daycare and overnight services again. Great way the socialize a pup in a supervised environment.

This is the best place for any dog. My dog loves to run and play and at times just loaf. She gets all this at Dog and Paddle. The dogs have huge and safe areas to play in. My dog comes home tired and happy. Which makes me happy. Deb and Richard treat the dogs like their own. Deb and Richard are professional and kind. The best kind of people to take care of my precious cargo.

This is long overdue! I've been bringing my puppy Mac here since he was very little. He is pretty high energy and a little bit spoiled so he can be a handful. Debbie and Richard have been wonderful taking care of him for day visits as well as overnights. Mac knows when he is getting close to the resort and starts getting excited a few km before we even get to the driveway! He always comes home nice and tired and sleeps a lot after he comes home. Thank you Debbie and Richard! You have been wonderful for Mac and I and we are very grateful to have you.

Heather is so kind and runs a tight ship! Our first meet she brought all her credentials and walked us through the different package options. We got daily updates with videos and she took the time to give updates about our geriatric kittens! And she checked in with us for our arrivals home incase things like flight delays happened. Very thorough!

I was nervous about leaving my cats for the first time before my meet and greet with Heather. After our encounter, I could tell that Heather is a skilled and thoughtful petsitter with high standards. My two energetic and somewhat mischievous young kitties were well-cared for by Heather and her staff. Additionally, I think their vacation was better than mine. 😂 You are very remarkable, Heather, and I am so glad to have found you.

We have three dogs and recently needed to go away for a long weekend to attend a wedding – bringing all three of the dogs with us was not an option and we knew the dogs would be most comfortable staying in their own home vs going to a sitter’s home or a kennel. Thus, we started our search for an in-home dog sitter in the west-end Ottawa area. We wanted a professional service company with a good reputation; through our research we stumbled upon The Fabulous Beast and we are so thankful that we did! From the moment we got in contact, Heather clearly laid out all of the options (we ended up going with the “puppy pyjama party” service with an add-on for a lunchtime visit each day) and she was receptive to finding someone within her team who could accommodate the specific needs of all three of our dogs (e.g., one of our dogs has recently recovered from IVDD and needs to be carried up and down stairs, one was a puppy and needed more frequent outings, etc.). During our weekend away we received consistent updates at least twice a day, including photos and videos! It was really great and helped put our minds at ease that our anxious dogs were doing okay. This was our first time having someone stay in our home, and our first time leaving all three dogs in the care of someone else and overall we had a really great experience. Choosing The Fabulous Beast Pet Sitting to look after my beloved Mojo while we were away was the best decision I have ever made on his behalf! He was healthy and happy for the whole two weeks we were away. I could tell from the daily pics that he was relaxed, unstressed, well fed and clean. Heather and her team did everything possible to make sure that he was safe, stimulated and cuddled every day and they reported, in great detail, how he was looking, eating and behaving. Heather did a great job of looking after our cat. Jar Jar is very shy and did her best to hide but Heather was able to ensure she was still eating regularly, playing and using her litter box. Heather texted me and kept me aware each day of her visits and what was going on. It was a really great experience knowing that someone was so invested in ensuring Jar Jar was well looked after while we were gone. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to Fabulous Beast Pet sitting and without a doubt I will be engaging their services again.

Thank you Heather and Jade for doing such a marvelous job looking after my cats. They took great care to make sure that my "babies" had a great experience. Although my cats are shy I have photographs of them making new friends. Best of all, when we arrived home they acted like we had never left them. They come to my house twice a day and I receive concise reports for every visit and pictures of what my girls are up to. We "chat" whenever necessary. Heather and her team did an amazing job of caring for our cats while on vacation. The oldest was recently diagnosed with diabetes and we were still in the learning stage. Heather and her team put us at ease knowing that Levi was being monitored and well cared for. The youngest has separation anxiety but there were no issues while we were away. They even were able to make friends with her. I’m sure they miss the attention that Heather and her team gave them each visit. Thanks to all.

Dave was extremely kind and accommodating. He makes sure your pet is well taken care of and takes notes on what you do at home so he can do it there. Dave even stayed 30 minutes late for us to pick up our dog when we got stuck in traffic. Highly recommend using Tug Hill Kennels!

I’ve used Tug Hill Kennels a few times and absolutely recommend them! I trust David so much with my dog, that I left him there for a 6 week military rotation and had absolutely no worries in the world about my fur baby. He is so patient and kind with the dogs- and people too! I’m so grateful to have found such good folks and as long as I am stationed at Fort Drum, Tug Hill will be our Go-To kennel. 100% recommend!

My husband and I had to board our dog and kitten for military training for two weeks. We made arrangements with David about a month in advance. He was really flexible as we dropped them off the day before we left and were able to pick them up a day early. Being able to get there within his two-hour window is helpful as we could afford to sleep in after traveling late the night before. Both animals were happy and David said they were well behaved. If the need ever arises again, I will definitely be using David's services. He's absolutely awesome!

Our dog loves being here!! He has always come out of kennels completely exhausted and has refused to eat. When we pull up to Tug Hill Kennels he excitedly jumps out of the car tail wagging and runs into the kennel! David takes really great care of the dogs and treats them like his own! He makes sure they have treats and toys. His attention to detail makes our pup very happy!

We left our 2 dogs at this kennel and were more than pleased and will use them again. We actually visited several kennels in the area before we decided to leave our dogs and I'm glad we did! Some of them smelled so awful that the stench stuck to us for hours, but this one was very clean and they even bathed the dogs before we took them home. I was impressed with the friendliness of the owners and their willingness to accommodate us.

Seems like a good guy, reasonable prices, cleaned daily. Maybe not the most "lavish" place but my kitty was well taken care of and wasn't afraid at all.

Best kennel around. It's a little out of our way, but we don't mind driving. Our dogs come home clean, fed, and calm. I know they are being taken care of and I know they have plenty of room to stretch out. We love this place!

Kelly is trustworthy and is very good at what she does. She took extra care of our dog while we were out of town, even taking her out on a long nature walk with other dogs (with my permission) when I had only requested a visit two times a day to take her around the block - I'm sure my dog was in hog heaven. She was professional, organized, and punctual, and a joy to chat with. Highly recommend.

Kelly loves animals, and it shows! Our two dogs consider her a second mom. When we go on vacation, it's a relief to know that our fur-kid are safe with Kelly, having a blast on walks, and playing with other dogs. They come home happy and exhausted!

Kelly the Pet Nanny is an amazing asset to have in your back pocket when heading off on vacation...our two four legged furballs are our children, that being said the safety and wellbeing of them are paramount to us...she does such a good job at it, they don't want to come home!

Steve is one of the most kind, considerate and disciplined people I know. When I leave Charlie with him, I am completely worry free as I know my dog is happy and well taken care of. I simply cannot recommend him enough!

Steve offers a safe, comfortable and fun environment for dogs. Ours was small and he loved going there. He knew Steve was the leader and he felt totally confident among all the bigger breeds. There is a large, fenced romping area and walks down quiet Barnes Rd. to the beach for exploration and adventure. He will cook their food and make treats. There is plenty of room for snoozes inside and all the dogs that want to will bunk in with Steve overnight. He is professional, totally reliable, kind and he has a great love for dogs.

Absolutely the best doggie day care around, Steve treats the dogs like his own, my dog loves going there. Stunning property with a huge fenced in lot for the dogs to run and play. Home made treats! walks to the lake and fun all around!
