Found this pets' heaven on route to Wales this summer From the moment i enquired we knew we were in a good place. We took our queens (chickens) were super happy with everything on offer. Nicky loves for animals reflect on everything at Pip's Pods. We came back in September for more boarding. Highly highly recommend
Great experience, place is very comfortable for small pets, my two boys enjoyed their time there while we were on a short brake. Highly recommended, Nicky was extremely friendly and gave us confident our bunnies were going to be looked after properly. Over and above what I expected. Will use again
Nicky is absolutely lovely and clearly adores animals. Our two guinea pigs were very well looked after and obviously enjoyed their holiday at Pip’s Pods! Highly recommended!
Smudge, our mini Rex rabbit, came home very relaxed after a week being looked after by Nicky and her daughters. He had plenty of outdoor space and his pod was cosy for him. Nicky’s set up is very secure and she was very welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend her.
I couldn’t recommend Nicky at Pip’s Pods highly enough. She was so warm and friendly via email, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly, and setting a mad guinea pig lady’s mind at ease! She thoroughly spoilt both my boys whilst they were with her, providing the most beautiful indoor and outdoor accommodation as well as a range of herbs and veggies for them to munch on. I was concerned about them in the heat as it was pushing 30 degrees when they stayed with her, but Nicky was so reassuring, messaging me to tell me when she’d checked on the pigs and sending me pictures of them having fun! I don’t know what she did with one of my piggies but she somehow managed to change him from a grumpy guinea to a much more cheerful version when I collected him! I think he needs to stay more often! I thoroughly recommend choosing Pip’s Pods for your small animal care when you go away - it couldn’t have been better.
I was really struggling to find decent boarding for our rabbit Jarrod as most sites were either breeders who happened to have a couple of spare hutches or were boarders advertising spacious accommodation only to find that the boarding was in small hutches staked 4 high in a shed! how lucky we were to find Pips Pods run by Nicky. Nicky has a lovely country home and will only house a few animals at a time (I say animals as she boards more than just rabbits). our Jarrod is a house rabbit but appeared more than happy with his outdoor accommodation and had a large outdoor space to stretch his legs. Nicky is an obvious animal lover as you will see for your self when you visit. Jarrod was treated to fresh greens every day and Nicky even went out of her way to bake him some banana treats. When it came to collection time Jarrod he appeared very happy and relaxed, I'm sure he could talk he would have been asking to stay a little longer!!!. I've never felt comfortable booking a holiday and leaving my pets in somebody else's care, however was so impressed with Pips pods we have already booked Jarrod's boarding for next summer and will have no issues leaving him with Nicky if we ever felt like a weekend away. I cannot rate Pip's Pods highly enough, a great service, great animal care and very under priced for the service provided. I would advise booking pips pods as early as you can as quality boarding is hard to find and is likely to book up fast.
Lovely local place for my 3 hens to board, whilst we took a holiday. Very clean and tidy, hens have plenty of space to roam about and came back looking very healthy. Had the added bonus of Nicky keeping their eggs for us when we came back. Would certainly recommend as a great place to look after your pets whilst you are away.
We were very happy with our experience keeping our 5 hens here whilst our garden was being redone. Email booking was very responsive and the owner was very understanding with our needs as it was unpredictable exactly how long we would need to stay with ongoing garden works being done. Drop offs and pick ups were also very flexible. Very impressed with the space and Nicky was very friendly and knowledgeable with hens, which reassured us that they were staying in the right place. Would definitely recommend.
Nicki has taken care of our rabbits during our holidays as well as us and even better. She considered our bunnies like hers and finally they have spent as good holidays as us. We are very grateful of her work. We are not going to hesitate to let our rabbits again next time to her. Very good service.
Nicky is a thoughtful, caring lady who loves all animals furry, feathered and, I suspect, otherwise! 😃 We boarded our 6 hens and 5 quail at Pip's Pods and just through our first message contact I felt an instant peace of mind. Nicky responds quickly and with understanding, no question too daft! She has spectacular pods in a big lush green acre (correct me if it's bigger?) containing big covered avaries with wonderful Omelet and locally made quality housing, coops, hutches etc, including smaller Omelet homes for the littlies. We were very comfortable having our birds to stay at Pip's Pods and they will go there for their holiday again when we next go away. Thank you Nicky! 👌 From Beki and Graham
Lily & Rosco say they loved Paws and Klaws when they rented out a field they had so so much fun esp Lily as she cannot be let off as her recall is so bad so she made the most of every second! Lily and Rosco absolutely recommend it as it’s enclosed and safe with fabric up so the dogs can’t see anything through the fence it has lots of agility equipment in it and water bowl and lots of tennis balls to chase they can’t plant it and will be returning as soon as possible they are both tired out and sleeping! (COLLIES)
If would come every day if I could ! Absolutely fantastic !!! I cannot recommend enough! I hired the pool and it was incredible. Spare towels, plenty of balls, shelter if needed, a net to get toys out of the water, a ladder for accessibility for humans and even doggy planks for them to get out of the water! Amazing quality for price ! We brought our 5 dogs for £20 and a 50 minute session. Alex was incredibly helpful too so thank you very much!! I’ve booked for next month already!
Though it’s been over a year, I still feel strongly about what happened during my dog’s stay, so I wanted to share my experience. I had booked my Giant Schnauzer into Paws and Claws for a three-week stay while I was due to travel to Australia. After just one day, however, I received a call from the kennel informing me that my dog had bitten a staff member’s finger, and they insisted I collect him immediately despite my travel plans. Their website promises that pets will be 'cuddled, stroked, warm, loved, played with, and kept in utmost comfort throughout their stay,' but in my case, it seemed they were unprepared to handle a breed like a Giant Schnauzer. My dog has a protective nature and can be anxious around unfamiliar people. I believe that, due to this lack of understanding, a staff member was bitten while trying to photograph him. If you have a dog with an anxious or protective temperament, I recommend seeking a kennel with experience handling similar breeds. This experience was both stressful and disappointing, and I would advise others to be cautious if they own dogs with similar needs.
Booked to use the secure field so my younger pup could have some off lead fun with my older dog. Great facilities, dogs had a blast and loved all the agility equipment.
Amazing place for you dog, we used their day care when we travelled to Yeovil, and we were welcome very warmly! It was a first for Snow, and she did not want to go back home! Very highly recommended!
Took my boy, and my friends dog to paws n klaws today, my first time not theirs. We had an absolute blast. The staff were so beyond kind and helpful. The dogs had the beat time and so did we the pool was the perfect temp aswell during the heat. We can't wait to come back 🙌 …
Jasper enjoys puppy play enormously and comes home exhausted. He has also made loads of friends. The staff are very friendly and happy to chat and help if any issues. Highly recommend 😁 …
What a setup and what an amazing bunch of people. Lulu LOVES doggy daycare. They pick her up drop her off and she has the best time with all her buddies.
Charlie loves it at Paws n Klaws - he is so excited when he arrives and doesn't want to leave. The staff are fantastic.
Friendly staff and the secure fields are well maintained
Had a 1 to 1 session with Steve for our 9 month puppy Otto. He gave us great confidence that we were doing the right things but just needed to go back to basics. Steve quite obviously has a great understanding of dogs and how to avoid/correct bad habits. Would definitely recommend.
What a fantastic service. Total heaven for our two terriers. They had the most wonderful walks and time with Steve. He is totally on top of his job and the dogs know it. They had the best walks ever. Highly recommend Steve, he is the best.
It was a real find when I came across Stephen from SG Canine Adventures, with a 7 month old full on staff pup, balancing his exercise demands and training needs with a demanding job was proving tricky. Since SG Canine Adventures have been taking him on his regular romps through the week, he is settled, content to sleep after his big runs and every day I get a lovely walk report sent to me so I can see where he’s been and what he’s been up to. Punctual, polite, security checked, great communication and above all else safety is at the forefront of everything they do. Highly recommend this business without hesitation.
It was great to find Stephen to replace our dog walker. He is confident walking the dogs off lead which is hard to find and provides excellent updates on the length of the walks and the happiness of the dogs. He has good availability and I would recommend him!
Stevens first session has already helped a lot with my challenging and reactive dog from working lines. Initially working on our bond and focus, learning to walk calmly on lead, with clear instructions. We are continuing with our “homework” and seeing improvement in other areas like reactivity as a result of this initial training. I’ll will be booking some more sessions in due course once we have the basics more established.
Rosie is extremely happy with her morning adventure. A happy dog needs all their senses satisfied and Canine Adventures certainly does that. Overnight stays and the drop in service is fantastic when life takes you away from home at short notice. Steve is honest reliable and really cares for our furry companions. Thank you for your great service.
Amazing! I am a vet nurse and often feel worried about leaving my animals with someone who may not know my pet that well especially when I have seen first hand how wrong this can go in my line of work! SG Canine Adventures has been brilliant and has totally put my mind at ease. He has been extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring with my dog Archer, has always provided me with detailed walk reports and has sent me some absolutely beautiful photos from his walk that I will be having printed and framed! Highly Highly recommend :)
Hugo has been having a great time on a long line walking with Stephen, his dog and recently with another youngster. i have complete confidence that my dog is safe and under control during the walk and would recommend Stephen to anyone who needs help with training or just exercising their dog.
Stephan took care of my dogs during my absence, and I am very satisfied with his services. The dogs were well-exercised, and I received detailed daily reports from their walks. Additionally, the dogs were always fed on time. What more could you ask for.I highly recommend him!
Cannot Thank Steve enough! SG Canines helped me with my 2 year old sprocker. She made walks very difficult with her constant pulling!! Scrapping her claws along the ground! Totally ruled our walks! This especially made dog walking very difficult as I was also walk my labrador at the same time. Walks were not fun at all!!!! After Minutes of being on her first training session with Steve she was a completely different Sprocker! I couldn't believe it! After every training session Steve sent me GPS Tracking of their walks. I continued on having a few more training session, where Steve was very knowledgeable and taught me how to have control over my pup instead of her having control over me! The difference is incredible. It's amazing the little things you learn just by asking for help! Steve I honestly cannot thank you enough! You've made walking my Pups so much more enjoyable. We are literally out hours now enjoying our strolls. Would 100% recommend SG Canine Thank You ☺️ for all the help
My German shepherd had a good stay here and will be staying in June for 5 nights, he loved playing with all the toys and it’s very good he can socialise with other dogs. We are very lucky this place is so close to home and have been trying to find doggy care for a while and we are happy to say we have found this place!
These guys are amazing. I have a very lively 13 month old Border Terrier who has never been left. The owners and staff have been great, we've introduced him slowly, started with a half day, a few full days and last night his first overnight stay! I'm happy and Ferris is happy (and tired!). They've really put my mind at rest and I feel comfortable leaving him, he has a great time too! Thanks to the whole team from Susie and Ferris x
What a fabulous place this is for your dog. Willow had her second visit to “dog camp” and loves it. Kristie, Sam and their helpers really care for the dogs who have a great place to play and run. They are not confined to a kennel with the odd walk, like other establishments. We have no hesitation in leaving Willow in their care but if you want to book, be quick, they are very popular!
We have used Little dogs for a few years and our dog, Arthur, has enjoyed every minute. He starts to get excited as we pull into the lane and then rushes out the car without a backwards glance. We know he has fun, is very well looked after and loved. We fully recommend and feel lucky we found them.
We left our dog in their care whilst on holiday. To have a phone call saying he had been left at the vets on his own saying he's had a collision. A week later he got worse and was told he got bit on his leg by a snake. A week after and £10,000 later we then got told it could cost an extra £20,000 to try and keep his leg but then it still might not prevent it. So we made the decision to have his leg amputated. The kennels ignored our messages and updates on blue and have not helped out, asked how he is or got in touch. We really do not want any other dog or family to go through this again.
I’ve never put my dogs in kennels before due to the fear of them being depressed and not exercised but little dogs “not so little dogs” have completely changed my mind. 😁 they were recommended to me when I was struggling to find a dogsitter that would be able to cope with me very friendly, manic springer for 10 days and they welcomed us in straight away. All the staff are so friendly and Barney settled in immediately after his trials and inductions. I received photos whilst abroad via their Facebook page which gave me piece of mind that he was having the best time. When I came home the feedback I got was Barney to a T so I know the staff had taken time to interact and observe all his behaviours good and cheeky! I will definitely be using them again on our next trips away, it’s now barneys favourite place! 🐾 well priced, easy online portal booking system, lovely staff, great facilities, built securely for even the most professional escape artists to fail and a fun place for all the doggies! 🐾
What can I say about Little Dogs? They are everything we wanted for our older dog when we went away but it was not to be. So when Jazz came into our lives and a family week abroad meant having to find somewhere for her to stay we started to look at options outside the traditional kennel stays. Jazz can be a sensitive soul but LDNSLD's have definitely brought her out of her shell and her split personalities shine through in the great photos we look forward to at the end of the day. We rested well knowing that she was having the time of her life and could have a well earned rest in her kennel at the end of the day. The staff have one of the best jobs and they lap up giving the dogs lots of attention which ensures that they trot through the door at the start of the day with a waggy tail! Long may the beautiful relationship we have continue x
Outstanding all around. Professional, caring and FUN! whenever we drop Kobi off, her tail is wagging as we see her rush past us to go in. The photo updates show us that she has the best of times under the care of the whole team at LittleDogs. Honestly we are so grateful to be accepted onto their books. Wonderful!!
Thank you so much for looking after Loki whilst we were away, he's had a ball. The photos each day are amazing and the hands on care you give is great. Really feel like you know Loki.
What can I say about LittleDogs? We rescued a nutter of a dog a few years ago. He suffers from separation anxiety and we found this really difficult. It was equally difficult to find somewhere we were happy to leave him as he isn't straight forward! Sam and Kristie are simply amazing - Alfie is SO happy to see them. We never hesitate to leave him there as he has such a good time and comes back incredibly tired. Thank you Sam and Kristie!
I was feeling anxious about leaving our puppy in kennels while we were away but he was excited when dropped off and was happy and healthy when we picked him back up. Thank you Duncan and team for looking after our pup so well, he will definitely be back.
We have just switched to Farringford from another local kennel and are delighted with how well the dogs are looked after. Duncan and his staff that we’ve met so far, are so friendly and helpful. The dogs have stayed twice now and seem really happy to go there. The whole place has a very friendly and caring vibe which is really refreshing. I love that our dogs can be walked off lead there too. Thank you.
we’ve used Farringford for a couple of years now and are always impressed. Duncan is fantastic, very friendly and our dog loves him. Always happy to show us around. It feels a very warm and caring environent. Our dog loves coming here :)
Duncan is fantastic and my two dogs love it there
Duncan is such a good man, the staff always has a smile when you turn up. Excellent service and very much a caring place to look after your dogs.
We recently left our pooch with them for a long weekend and even though i was nervous and explained my worries/concerns, they wer so good in listening and reassuring myself. They asked all the right questions and wanted to know her likes/dislikes/routine etc and even called me the next day to let me know how she was doing (i requested) nothing was too much, will be using them again
Fabulous kennels. I would highly recommend them. I used them to day board my 2 girls whilst we visited longleat safari park. Really easy to book over the phone. My girls were let out quite a few times whilst in there care. When we went to collect them one of my dogs ran back into the kennels so she must have been happy.
Very pleasant kennels run by caring and compassionate couple.
Both my dogs have just returned from a short break with Duncan and his team they are completely chilled out and can't wait to go back for longer next year Its taken me a long time to find a experienced kennels very impressed with the set up
Our dogs holiday home. They love their visits. The owner and staff are very caring and accommodating.
Friendly, reliable, trustworthy service. My little dog absolutely adores her walks with David and Diamond. She always comes home shattered!
I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff are always so helpful and have been so patient with Brucie and his separation anxiety. Brucie loves going on his walks, I love the reports we get after the walk to see how he has got on.... although today there was traffic issues when I receive these pictures I can truly see how much the staff love the doggies and really enjoy their jobs! Thank you so much to Sophie & the team 💙
Fabulous grooming service. So happy to discover that HPCS offer this. Our Cavapoochon always comes out happy and looking gorgeous. Great teeth cleaning process too. Chloe is lovely. Highly recommend.
Mabel has been going out for weekly walks for over a year now. She loves getting together with other dogs and gets so excited when the van pulls onto our driveway. I highly recommend heathers pet care services and always mention them to other dog owners.
Just finished Heathers pet services puppy classes as Rosemary Lodge. We really enjoyed the sessions and my pup and I will both benefit from what we have learnt. Sophie N was fantastic. She is really engaging, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions separate from the lesson content. I wasn’t looking forward to being out on a cold Wednesday evening but am now sad it’s finished. Would def recommend. Will be looking to book some of Heather’s other pet services.
We did not have the best experience with Heather’s Pet Services. We genuinely appreciated how understanding and hard working the staff were, however the customer service really let us and our two cats down. I understand this is a predominantly dog-centred service, but we were assured they could look after Persian cats and their additional specific needs. We were extremely anxious about leaving our cats alone, to the point that it’s prevented us from taking trips since before the pandemic. It took a few visits for them to get used to these and I took particular care to update our information in their online portal. After each visit we could tell the staff really took on our feedback, which was amazing. However, on arriving home after the last two visits, we found one or both cats had become unwell and left unpleasant smells and messes to attend to, definitely not a nice environment to come home to after being away. After letting customer service know about this, the response was very unsympathetic and unprofessional. We were blamed for their errors and told we were at fault for making a staff member ill with the feedback we gave previously. I have never come across a business take so little responsibility for the quality of their services (at frankly extortionate prices) or the wellbeing of their staff, and I was particularly shocked by the lack of interest in the wellbeing of our cats after the final visit. Unfortunately, we would not feel safe leaving our cats under their supervision again.
About 5 years ago our cockapoo Barney began to get very agitated whilst being groomed. This got steadily worse to the point that the groomer said they would not be able to groom him without him being sedated…. We did this reluctantly, as we hated the effect the drugs had on him. I was chatting it through with the vet as this had been going on for a couple of years and I felt that it could not be good to do this as Barney was nearing 9. A number of people mentioned that Heather’s pets had a lady who was a trained dog behaviourist and wonderfully patient grooming team. I felt it was worth a go although did wonder if the saying ‘ you cannot teach an old dog new tricks’ would be validated! Sophie a trained dog behaviourist and Chloe the chief groomer have worked wonders- between them they have taken time with Barney to ensure he is comfortable with them and in their grooming room. They have cared for him and eased him in gradually to being able to be first washed and cleaned with them and now groomed without any sedation at all! It is such a relief and I am so grateful- they always reassured me too that I was not being a paranoid dog owner and that it would be worth taking this time- and it certainly has been. We are all so thankful they are fantastic!
My dog has been having regular weekly walks with the staff at heathers pet care services. Mabel loves being collected and going out with a group of dogs. The staff are dedicated animal lovers and take great care of your pets. Mabel has a brilliant bond with whichever walker she has and get super excited when she sees them walk up our path. I Highly reccomend heathers pet care services
Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!
We have only positive things to say about both Sophie and Heathers Pet Care Services. We arranged some 121 sessions with Sophie for our little Cockapoo recently - and Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and Sophie made every session exciting. Our Cockapoo was so entertained, and we've taken all the training notes, games and general advice moving forwards and we can't wait to use the services again. Thanks again :)
We have used Heathers for a number of years now for group walking, grooming, puppy training and 121 dog training. They are all excellent and the online booking system is very helpful. Would highly recommend to any dog owners in Bath area.
My two sausage dogs have been going to the Noble Dog Hotel for the last 2 years, they absolutely love it. It’s been fantastic for their confidence and socialising with other dogs! Such a lovely environment for them and I feel so reassured sending them there!
We have been bringing Archie to The Noble Dog Hotel regularly for the past 4 years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else! From the moment he arrives he is happy to be there, it really is a home away from home. Diane has created an environment where Archie is safe, happy and is treated like one of the family. The daily updates we receive give us peace of mind when we are away from him. He always looks like he is having a wonderful time out on walks or taking part in activities at the house. Archie especially enjoys the Noble Dog Fest while we are at Glastonbury festival. I would highly recommend The Noble Dog Hotel.
My wife and I are so thankful we found the Noble Dog Hotel! Diane and her husband took such great care of our 6 month old puppy Winston for a week and he made a friend for life in their dog Lola! We were worried about leaving our pup with someone new for the first time, but from the minute we met Diane before we went away I felt reassured by Diane’s professionalism and her clear love for dogs! We had lots of paperwork to fill in so Diane knew what Winstons likes and dislikes were and what his routine is so that she could keep to this as much as possible and make sure he was happy! During our time away we had updates and beautiful pictures sent to us daily, which we both loved and felt so reassured by. We were worried Winston wouldn’t want to come home with us! He had such great stimulation - he was taken on walks daily and the garden is huge, completely safe and beautifully kept. An ideal play ground for any dog! Diane is so knowledgable about dogs we felt we could even ask for tips! We really couldn’t have asked for more and we will absolutely, 100% feel happy for Winston to stay again and would highly recommend the Noble Dog Hotel!
My dog absolutely loves TNDH. Diane treats every dog like they are her own. The days are filled with enriching activity and cosy downtime. And special events - Easter, Halloween, Christmas, Glasdogbury - are always celebrated with extra special themed activities and treats. I often think I’d like to check myself in!
We have a 11yr old Vizsla who struggles with anxiety when away from home, which is typical for the breed but has impacted dog free holidays. Until we used The Nobel Dog Hotel. The experience, knowledge and genuine love of dogs Diane has is outstanding, Juno can't wait to get through the door! We drive a 5hr round trip to take her to Diane and worth every mile. Highly recommended, in our option the best Dog care establishment in the country.
Our Irish setter Bonnie has just spent 10 days at the Noble Dog Hotel and I have been so impressed with our experience. I was looking for a home from home experience (the opposite of kennels) and it was even better than I could have hoped. Diane is clearly passionate about dogs and their welfare. Bonnie settled in very quickly and the regular updates and pictures from Diane meant that I could see for myself how content she was. If you are looking for a safe, comforting environment for your dog with lots of opportunity for countryside walks, snoozing on a multitude of comfy chairs and beds and lots of care and attention then the Noble Dog Hotel is the place to choose. I will certainly be using the Noble Dog Hotel again in future. Thank you Diane!
We have used The Noble Dog Hotel a few times now even though it's a 4 hour round trip from our home as it was highly recommend. We have a 3 year old golden doodle who has buckets of energy and requires lots of attention throughout the day. We received regular updates and pictures of him playing with other dogs either out on walks or in the large garden at the hotel. Upon collecting him he wasn't fussed due to the amount of fun he was having. I would honestly recommend using Diane at the hotel as your dog would be very well looked after and in very safe hands.
My dog Blossom goes here 3 time a week daytime only. They are absolutely wonderful and my dog loves everyone who work there. They genuinely love the animals they look after. It was such a relief for me to leave my dog somewhere safe and well looked after while I'm at work. Highly recommend the Turnpike Kennels and Cattery.
Always a pleasure to deal with the team at Turnpike. Have used them for nearly 20 years now, first looking after our Lhasa Aphso dog and now our British Short-hair cat. Trial runs are always advised when you first start out to make sure your pet , gets used to the fact that your coming back and helps calm them for longer stays.
This kennels are so loving and genuinely care about your furry friends and make sure there okay and stick to whatever you say your furry friends diet is.
We have used this kennel several times now, and or cat & dog always come home healthy & well looked after. The staff act on any requests to make sure our pets are fine.
Would highly recommend the guys at turnpike. My 5 month old. Cockapoo absolutely enjoyed his time at the kennels. . The needs of the dogs are second to none . Clean kennels. Great. Owners . And they put your mind at ease . First time putting my dog in kennels. I didn’t need to worry. I would recommend. Turnpike to anyone .
My rottweiler stayed for first ever time in kennels when I collected her she was all smiles. She was well looked after. Update this would be my 4th time going to kennels, staff are great my girl was alittle bit apprehensive about going in so we took our time getting her into kennel, I didn't feel rushed and they made me feel at ease when I left her . Nobody really wants to leave there animals but when we do we want to make sure there in safe hands and not worry about a furry friends whilst away, they even spoke about options for making it alittle easier on her like coming for the day or entering from a different door, there amazing and would recommend to any of my friends. ❤️
Have given 5 stars now as the current owners are great, our two dogs aren't the biggest lovers of kennels but they always seem fine here and not overly anxious when dropped off. The small team of staff genuinely care about the animals under their care and I wouldn't take my boys anywhere else.
They looked after our dogs while we were away for a week. We felt the price was reasonable. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who met with us and our dogs to their enclosure. The place looked like it was kept very clean. Our dogs were extremely pleased to see us on their return, but looked like they had been well looked after. The staff members we encountered were polite and friendly, and very patient with us while we said goodbye to the dogs for a week. We are likely to use them again when we're travelling abroad in future.
Max had a wonderful first time at the kennels. They gave him his meds easily and he left wanting to go back when we popped him in the car! Owner is lovely and so are the lovely small team. Thoroughly relieved to find a safe happy place for our beloved pooch to stay in when mummy and daddy need their quality time.
My cat Sylvester has just had his first visit here for the August Bank Holiday weekend. It is a lovely place and he seemed to be very happy. Thank you very much for looking after him so well 😊 …
Title: Exceptional Care for Our Precious Pup! We recently entrusted our 8-week-old puppy to Active Paws, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we left, we knew he was in the best hands possible. The level of care and professionalism provided by Ewelina at Active Paws is truly unparalleled. Ewelina treated our furry friend with the utmost love, care, and attention, making us feel completely at ease. Throughout our puppy's stay, Ewelina kept us informed every step of the way, sending us daily updates, photos, and texts, which meant the world to us. It was evident that she genuinely cared about our puppy's well-being and happiness. One of the things that stood out to us was the extra mile Ewelina went to ensure our puppy's comfort and cleanliness. Not only did she provide excellent supervision and playtime, but she also gave him a bath, leaving him fresh and clean – a gesture that truly exceeded our expectations. Safety was also a top priority at Active Paws. Ewelina demonstrated great attention to detail in ensuring our puppy remained safe and secure throughout his stay, giving us peace of mind knowing he was in a safe environment. Leaving our puppy for the first time was an anxiety-inducing experience, but Active Paws alleviated all our worries. Thanks to Ewelina's exceptional care and commitment to our puppy's well-being, we returned home to a super happy and contented pup. We wholeheartedly recommend Active Paws, and specifically Ewelina, to anyone in need of pet care services. Her professionalism, trustworthiness, and genuine love for animals make her the perfect choice for anyone seeking the best possible care for their furry family members. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!
Ewelina is wonderful with Tommy and Penny. She has been very patient in the past with Tommy as he was very nervous. They now have a great relationship. I love seeing the pictures of the dogs out on their walks while I am working. I know my dogs are in safe hands! Ewelina also brings her son to work with her which exposes the dogs to children, which doesn’t happen often. This is very beneficial to Tommy and Penny and it’s clear they enjoy it 😄
Amazing with my sensitive cocker spaniel keeps me informed and I even get beautiful photos, she is accommodating even though I am some what of a last minute organiser
Ewelina is super reliable, our cats absolutely love her and we always feel safe knowing they are well looked after when we are away, cannot recommend her enough.

Our little dog has just had a trial stay with Susie at Greenacres. We were quite anxious about leaving her for the first time but she seemed to settle and slept all the way home after enjoying the freedom of Susie’s paddocks.
Thanks Susie, Bonnie seems like she had a great stay and I appreciated the daily video updates. I'm really glad to have her back home again but I think she will miss your fields until her next stay!
Thank you Susie for looking after our dog Bowie. He has had an amazing time and so reassuring to see him happy with your videos you send us. He is one happy dog and we are happy owners knowing that he is well looked after. recommend
I had a mixed experience boarding our 8 month old puppy at Greenacres. We were out of the country and whilst we received daily videos I was contacted after a few days to inform me my dog had jumped up on a table and broken a ‘favourite mug’. I apologised and offered to replace it. I was perplexed when informed it was a mug widely available on Amazon (which I purchased & had sent to Susie the next day). This was unsettling given that I’d been reassured when I booked, that my lively pup could be managed. It was a relief to collect my pup only to receive a disappointingly negative handover from the member of staff. This added to my unease. The dog was defensive and unsettled for 72 hours after returning home. I’ve since found out a couple of acquaintances had similar experiences at Greenacres with their dogs being a nuisance, jumping up and breaking things.
Suzy is great with our dogs...they both had a lovely time there. We were able to go and enjoy our holiday knowing the dogs were well cared for and entertained with their various new dog friends. Thanks Suzy.
My dog stayed here for 3 days. We were on holiday and needed a place for sparky to stay during the day while we visited places, where dogs were not allowed. Susie is so lovely and sent videos of him on walks and playing with other dogs .. thank you for helping us and would highly recommend her service ..
Susie .is just wonderful with my dog. Lots of walks and fun. Susie got a swimming pool when the weather was hot for the dogs. Susie sends lots of pictures and videos. Lovely lady.
A great home from home for my dog. She had a great first day there. She even ran back into the house when we came to collect her! Thanks Susie. 🐕🦺😄 …
My dog stayed there for two weeks, a lot of exercise and playing, videos and pictures everyday. I could see that he is happy. Definitely recommend
