Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Kelly was dependable and showed up exactly on time. The house was well maintained and clean when we arrived home. We would definitely host Kelly again.

I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.

Ray and Lynn were excellent sitters for Moose! They took him out multiple times a day and always played with him. They sent so many pictures and Moose always looked so happy! They were very flexible on when they arrived and left and very organized. The house was left clean and tidy and we found a happy dog when we got home. We would definitely have them back anytime!

Lynn and Ray were fabulous sitters, going above and beyond to take care of our home, yard, and rambunctious pup. Leaving him for three weeks was very difficult but we felt confident once we met them. They are great communicators, very professional, capable of handling any situation, and personable. Since they are fully self-contained in their van, they arrived a day early so we could show them the place, have our dog Bailey get comfortable with them (that was immediate ☺), and get to know them over dinner together. While on our trip, they sent us daily photos of Bailey, which we really appreciated, and updates on their activities. They took him hiking almost every day and kept him well exercised. Any issues that came up (e.g., our irrigation water ran dry a couple weeks in) they communicated to us and we were able to resolve them quickly. They also harvested ripe berries and squash for us and even harvested and dried tomatoes in our dryer. We spent our entire trip feeling assured that all things were being taken care of and feel ever so grateful that we found Lynn and Ray through TH. We returned from our trip to a house that was thoroughly cleaned (better than we left it ☺), with fresh sheets on the bed, and a happy dog. Five-star sitters for sure!

Ray and Lynn are absolutely the best pet sitters you could ask for. They were extremely responsive to texts and emails and chatted with us over WhatsApp before the sit. They were very flexible and arrived the night before our sit so we could leave early the next morning. They even brought us ice cream because it was Joe's birthday the day they arrived. Very thoughtful of them. They are very friendly, relaxed people that are easy to talk to. Our dogs immediately bonded to Lynn upon their arrival. The first morning our cat managed to sneak outside and was MIA overnight despite their valiant efforts to get him to return. Ray tried to capture him but our cat fought with him and escaped again before eventually returning the next morning. Unfortunately Ray was scratched and bit by the cat during this struggle. He developed an infection in his hand. We did offer to come home or find a replacement sitter so they could return to the US but they were able to get medical attention here and antibiotics. They are so kind and didn't want to ruin our vacation! Two days before we were to arrive home the infection in Ray's hand took a turn for the worse and they had no choice but to head home to the US to get immediate medical care. They waited for our friend to arrive before departing. We were so impressed with them that even under these stressful circumstances they cleaned our house and laundered the sheets. Our kitchen cupboards looked better organized than before we left. Our garden was watered and well cared for during the heat wave. They were excellent at sending updates and photos throughout the sit. Our dogs were very happy and well cared for. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

Christina handled Bridie's first-ever time without us perfectly. We returned after 5 days to a happy, well-cared for and well-exercised pup --- and an emaculate house. Christina knows dogs and helped us with a few Bridie issues. We got photos and some updates while away. She was flexible and very sensitive to all of our needs. Oh my Goodness! Where to begin. Linda was the perfect house sitter for us and the perfect pet sitter for Olivia! She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. When we returned from out two week vacation all our plants were alive, the garden was alive, the birds and fish had been fed regularly, and the dog was alive and happy! What more can you ask for, right? Well with Linda you get all that and more. Updates as you request - even videos of her morning walks with Olivia. The house as spotless as we left it, maybe even better! Even the porches were clean! Linda is a genuine treasure and our recommendation would be 10 stars if there were that many!!

I have been taking my two dogs here for daycare twice a week for a little over two years now. They get so excited in the mornings when they know they're going to daycare. The staff are always warm and welcoming to my pups.
I have been taking my fur-baby to Doggo for the past 12 months. My doggo absolutely loves being surrounded by his fur friends. And the staff at Doggo are warm, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend for day-care as well as short-term sleep-overs.
My Jack Russell spend frequent ad hoc days and overnights at Doggo. He always comes home in good health and good spirits. It is a very convenient service.
Absolutely an abhorrent treatment by the manager, Lee, at the Claremont branch. I was extremely nervous to take my rescue dog who had been showing signs of aggression. I was promised by Graeme, the owner, that a behaviourist is on sight to acclimatise my dogs. I was rushed out, they refused to show me the facilities and I was then treated like a child by Lee when upset. Expensive and not worth the energy!
My babies love going to Doggo for daycare and boarding. Always excited when they get dropped off.
We dropped Abby off with very little notice and she had the best day ever. Will definitely be back! They obviously love dogs and stayed in touch sending photos and a video.

Absolutely super. Rose looked after my four fur babies. They're an odd bunch with lots of quirky (read that as naughty) habits and Rose followed all the instructions. I received regular updates on how they were doing. On my return, my Hounds were calm, and content and my home was spotless, as if i just stepped out for a few minutes. It was a very pleasant experience and has given me confidence that I can plan holidays and have a reliable and honest pet and home sitter. Thank you so much Rosemary!
Rosemary can speak dog language. My dogs adore her and when I return from my trips they are so happy, calm as if they had been on a holiday with her. I feel such peace of mind when they are with her. I appreciate her daily updates to me.

My dog has been at Waggy Tail for many years. It's home away from home for him. He's an anxious dog but I have peace of mind knowing he is safe and well taken care of. I often recommend Waggy Tail to others especially if their dog is not adjusting at bigger day cares. The understanding and flexibility it offers means I don't have to worry.
I left my 2 small dogs with Jackie for 5 weeks while I relocated to Portugal, It was the most stressful thing I have had to do but Jackie was amazing, I have never met a more caring, loving, knowledgeable pet sitter in my life and over the years I have left my dogs in different situations when I have gone overseas, I just regret not having come across Jackie before. We had major problems with PETPORT the relocation company I used but Jackie was amazing helping me deal with their unbelievable incompetence. She took care of my dogs as if they were here own and sent me daily video’s of what fun they were having. I cannot recommend WAGGYTAILS highly enough, I just dont know how I am going to find someone here in Portugal to live up to her standards.

Cannot praise "the Poochers" highly enough. From our day of assessment, where every new doggy is assessed for temperament & suitability, to Elly's actual sleepover, one feels the deep love and care Jarryd, Erich, Mac D, Nadine and all staff have for one's floof and indeed canines in general. The premises are spotless and park-like, lots of comfort and shade provided and the attentiveness of the doggy-carers is truly next-level. I was given lots of updates, videos and little news reports as to progress and comfort levels, all very re-assuring and instilling confidence in the human who has left her beloved wee pooch to board for the weekend. Happy pug, happy (dog)mom!! Pooch is like no other daycare/boarding facility I’ve ever experienced. It’s incredible that they do an assessment with the dogs before the can attend or stay over to ensure they don’t affect the group environment. Everyone who works at Pooch truly love the dogs and it shows. I was concerned that my dog is more of a lap dog and prefers human attention more than doggy attention (and didn’t enjoy other daycares previously) but he loved it at Pooch. He got treated with so much love (and willing laps to sit on). I also appreciated the constant videos and pictures showing the fun time he was having. Thank you Pooch- our new spot of choice for when we are away and need to leave Wall-E in a trusted, safe and lovely environment.
Absolutely amazing! Sengi had the time of his life at Pooch. An amazing team of people do everything to ensure that the doggos are safe, happy and stimulated. Every day we received pic and video updates of Sengi meeting new friends, playing, eating treats, sleeping on couches, sun bathing and generally living his best life. It made our 18 day travels stress free seeing what a gas the boy was having. Thank you.
Our dog spent a weekend at Pooch recently, his first weekend at a doggy daycare. He is quite scared of strangers but the staff at Pooch were incredible and he looked right at home there in no time. We got a constant stream of photos and updates from the Pooch team which so we could see what our pup was up to at all times. Could not recommend them more!
Pooch is the absolute best doggy daycare! Our dog Kia is quite timid and every single part of the experience instilled in us trust that she would be/was in good company, well cared for, and happy: a thorough assessment to ensure only well-natured dogs are admitted, a detailed intake form so all Kia's needs were met, tons of updates, photos, and videos throughout her stay, and such extremely caring staff. Unlike other daycares, they really emphasise quality of stay for the dogs rather than the quantity of dogs. Kia came home with more confidence from her few days at Pooch, so great to see! Highly recommend!
Amazing doggy hotel! Our Harvey boy was so well looked after and we were given peace of mind with constant updates of how he was doing. They go above and beyond at Pooch to make sure your doggie is stimulated and given all the love.
Where do I start?! Pooch is one of the best discoveries that we have ever made. Pooch is run not as a business but rather as a family, and it is made clear with every interaction and stay. Our GSP has the most incredible time at Pooch whether he is there for a weekend or a month. We get multiple updates on his activities, adventure walks, and naps via our WhatsApp group and have constant communication between the owners and carers at Pooch. I can't forget to mention the best part and that is that they fetch and drop off as we live 30-minutes away from Hout Bay, making every stay a non-negotiable!
Staying over at Pooch is our dogs’ most loved activity. They are loved, stimulated and receive ample supervised play time. We get regular updates of them having the best time. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff who are very lnowledgable and absolutely adore all the doggies. Would give a 10/10 review!

I'm so grateful to have found this amazing place! Our companion is a Yorkie so I'm super particular about where I leave him as they can be more sensitive, and this place exceeded all my expectations. Firstly, the facilities are top-notch and incredibly spacious - my pup had plenty of room to run around and play. The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and secure, giving me complete peace of mind. The staff are absolute dog lovers and treated my Yorkie like royalty! They're friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about providing a safe and happy environment for all the furry guests. I was impressed by the individualized care and attention given to each dog, and the staff took the time to get to know my pup's unique needs and personality. Superwoof has been absolutely amazing. Our Great Dane, Franky, is a sensitive and gentle soul with pretty bad separation anxiety, but he absolutely LOVES going to Superwoof. The team send regular pictures and updates and are always super accommodating. Honestly, a lifesaver organisation
Visiting from the United States we needed to get our pup into daycare to be fully present with our family. SUPERWOOF was quick to respond, get her assessed, and even sold Hills Science Diet on-site which was really helpful since we were running low. We loved the pictures they send us updating us on our pup and how her day was going. We visited 3 times in the time that we were there and each time we turned into the parking area our pup was yelping with excitement! Thanks SUPERWOOF for giving us piece of mind while we visited our family for the first time in 3 years!

You think your dogs are happy at home? You are wrong, you will see your dog smile when they spend time at Super Woof! We had our two fur kids visit the hotel for 17 nights and they didn't want to leave. The staff are fantastic and the space is so much fun, your dog will sleep for 2 days when returning home. I cnanot praise Joanne and Bianca enough for an amazing amazing amazing product.

The staff members are incredibly caring and trustworthy, giving me peace of mind every time I leave him there. Plus, I love receiving pictures and videos throughout the day, keeping me in the loop with all the excitement. Five stars without a doubt!
