We have never left our dogs with a pet sitter before so I was nervous but Sadie was AMAZING! We left her with 2 nervous rescue dogs and she was so patient and kind with them and sent us pictures throughout the weekend for our peace of mind. 10/10 would recommend Sadie to anyone! Thanks for taking care of our pups!
Sadie did an incredible job taking care of our dogs over a weekend that we were away. This was our first time leaving our dogs alone, but Sadie really put us at ease. She sent so many photos and updates of our dogs, which really made us feel at peace. She was also extremely quick to respond to our texts, which further ensured us that our dogs were safe with her. Sadie was so great with our dogs (even considering their vastly different personalities and leash reactivity)! I absolutely recommend Sadie! With Sadie, your dogs will be in great and trustworthy hands.
Sadie was wonderful! Leaving your babies is always stressful, but Sadie is a great communicator sending photos and videos throughout the pet-sit. We felt like our dogs were in great hands the entire time and it was amazing to come home to zero accidents from our sweet aging dog with a leaky bladder. 10/10 recommend and will use Sadie again.
Sadie was amazing with our cats! We totally spaced on hiring a pet sitter until the last minute before our trip and Sadie saved us. She answered our request right away, made time to meet us prior to our vacation to get familiar with the space and care instructions, and was super capable with picking up keys and dealing with our apartment’s confusing parking/elevator/concierge system. When it came to the actual pet sitting, she sent us plenty of pictures and videos of our babies and updates on how they were doing. She cleaned up our cat’s puke when the dummy inhaled his food too fast (twice!) and was just in general really responsive and friendly. We would definitely use her again!
Sadie is an amazing pet sitter!!! She is kind, timely, and reliable. I have complete peace of mind when I know my pet is in her care! Highly recommend her services.
Sadie walked my dog for 3 years and when I got a second dog, she walked the both of them. She also did cat and hamster care in my home and boarded Ivy in her home while I took vacations. Sadie is great at communicating, sending pics to help reassure pets are in good hands. She’s reliable and just a very kind, warm-hearted person who is wonderful with animals and will treat them like her own. My pets are my babies and I always know they’ll be in good hands with Sadie!
Iesha is such a wonderful sitter for our Dachsunds. She is so patient with them, and caters to each of their unique needs. She is very communicative and always updates me when I am away. I highly highly recommend her especially if you have a nervous or reactive dog!
Sadie is amazing! We had just moved to Denver and didn’t want to board our pups while we went on vacation, so we started looking around for pet sitters. We we’re having a hard time finding someone that was willing to watch/let our pups out at our house, and then we stumbled across Denver Tails. Sadie kept us updated on everything that was going on with the pups, and even sent adorable update photos. She quickly became our pups best friend as she watched them every time we’ve gone out of town. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Have used Denver Tails on both overnights and day visits with my pups. Sadie does a great job and my dogs love her!
Sadie is the best pet sitter ever! Baxter loved his days out with her. She was punctual and kind. Best of luck to you on your new adventure in Colorado Springs!
This dog training crew nailed it with the line of services offered. Anyone who knows me knows I love my dog, quite often more than most people! But one thing I cannot tolerate is a dog that has no manners. Yes, they exist, believe it or not. The line of services offered ranges from in-person, one-on-one, and including the owner in the training as well. However, the service that they offer that many others do not is simple, but essential, an evaluation! Evaluations are crucial to you and your pup. This will inevitably steer you both in the right direction. Dogs of Denver offer an in person or virtual evaluation to explore the best options available for you both. What you may think is the biggest issue with your dog, may very well not be. Take it from me, personally. I went through this. I thought my dog needed to be trained on how to accept visitors in my home. I thought this because she would always go under the bed or under the couch when the doorbell rang. Not the case. She actually needed to be trained on how to allow people into her space. Two totally different issues that I had no idea of! Give Dogs of Denver a chance; for you and your pup! You won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommend the puppy essentials program! 6 sessions for a very reasonable price. We saw big progress during each session and our trainer made sure to address all of our specific concerns by the end of the program. We’re very against choking collars or any kind of training that uses pain and fear. This program is all about positive reinforcement training, and it works! Our sweet golden is so much better behaved now and he does it with a wagging tail and a smile. Thanks guys!
Having a new puppy is intimidating - so much to learn and wanting to do it right made me so overwhelmed. Dogs of Denver is so accommodating and considerate. I have a really complicated schedule and Samantha worked with me to make sure we got all our sessions scheduled. She was always on time and made sure our training sessions were packed full of good stuff that my puppy, Juniper, is now so much better behaved, has such a solid foundation, and seems much happier now that we have better communication and understanding. I definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in not only training their dog(s) but who also want to understand how to better communicate with them too. I feel I have a better foundation as a dog parent, now, too!
Cannot recommend enough! My dog Tate is a rescue and has a lot of anxiety, we tried a few different trainers with no success. After getting some tips and training from Happy Paws, he is so much better behaved out in public, listens to us, and has great manners around the house. Thank you so much for your help!!
Samantha was fantastic in helping us with our new rescue pup, Milo. We did both the One-On-One Essentials and Advanced Course and are very pleased with the skills and progress Milo has been able to learn, now just at a mere 6 months. Samantha was knowledgeable, informative, and helped us focus on specific areas where Milo needed more attention. It was extremely beneficial to have Samantha work with Milo one-on-one and then review the training skills at the end of each session with us. We also loved receiving our weekly email assignment(s), which helped advise us on what to continue focusing on for each week. Milo is still in his puppy stage but we are happy to know he has the skills and ability to flourish as a well trained pup. We plan to continue practicing all his learnings while he continues to mature but will definitely use Dogs of Denver/Samantha again in the future for any additional training needs.
As someone in the animal science field, I’ve seen a lot of relationship dynamics between pets and their owners firsthand. A sad but unfortunate truth that many don't realize is that neglecting to train your pet is choosing to not learn to communicate with them. Obedience training is an especially important step because it lays down your ground rules. This website is great because it has basic online obedience training guides that are essential to a dog’s overall health in cognitive development! Learning basic obedience training aids in developing a healthy relationship and bond between pets and owners by allowing communication and emphasizing trust. These guides break it down step by step to make it easy to understand at an affordable cost. I loved this training guide!
I have had other dog trainers (with other dogs) and this was by far the best experience. From the first contact and all thought the training program, it's been a great experience. Samantha was great and very responsive. She listened to our concerns, frustrations, and difficulties and provided instructions and tips that helped, a lot. I think our little guy, Teddy is going to be the best companion ever.
We used the obedience training and it included such great information! There were a lot of great tips and tricks that are not included in your normal internet searches which I found to be extremely beneficial. I was unaware of a lot of things - specifically when it comes to reinforcement and anxiety that I was able to put to good use with my pup! Most importantly, my pup isn't a good listener. I've been able to put the information to good use and while he's a work in progress, I am seeing the progress. Thank you for all the information in your obedience training 101!
Our trainer Sam was amazing!! My pup Zoe adored her and we both learned so much from her! She provided me with great tips and is very knowledgeable, professional and sweet! Thanks for all the progress made, Sam!!!
An impulsive purchase of my pup was less stressful with the Dogs of Denver training! I took my rambunctious Corgi puppy to the classic obedience training course and I loved the hands-on factor of the course! I got to work with my dog alongside the trainer it was perfect! During the pandemic, an at-home obedience class was so ideal. The six sessions that are an hour each helped us work on specific skills without being too long and tiring my dog out. They truly care about their clients which can be hard to find. The wide range of services they offer can cater to any owner. Once my puppy gets older I will definitely enroll him in their personalized private training, so the trainers can match my dogs' specific goals!
We were so very lucky to have found Daily Wag! While visiting family in Denver we had a full day planned of activities unfortunately Knox was unable to join in on. However, our fur baby had the absolute best time playing with his new friends and getting cuddles from the amazingly friendly staff. Highly suggest this daycare, especially if in a tight pinch out of town. You and your pup can each enjoy all Denver has to offer!
Daily Wag is the absolute best! My 10 month old golden doodle has been going to the wag since he was about 5 months old! He is now part of the daily wag club and comes every day while I’m at work! He runs to the door every morning and doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day because he has so much fun! The staff at the daily wag are responsive and I fully trust them with my puppy every day. I start each day with Jonathan at early drop off and Stephanie is the best and takes such great care of all the dogs. You can tell that the dogs are so excited to see all of the staff members. The cameras at the daily wag are also awesome so I can take a break from work and see how my puppy is doing! Boarding at the daily wag is also so convenient and reliable.
I bring my pup Cheeto there for daycare occasionally and purchased a boarding package when I leave town (the best rates in denver imo) He is already greeted so kindly and loves the staff there! He is always SO excited when I pull in! The biggest thing for me is I feel safe leaving my baby there! I recently left for an event for 5 days and was super nervous about his first time boarding- he came back exhausted and super happy! I’m sure he had a blast! There was once instance where I sent them a message to check up and go reassured he was doing fantastic along with photos! I will continue to tell all my friends with pets about how awesome Daily Wag is!!!!
We were visiting Denver for a long weekend in August and ended up needing to board our six month old, deaf, French Bulldog Oliver. We called and talked with Stephanie at the Daily Wag and she was so excited to meet our little man. Now, this was my first experience with boarding our puppy and she made it as easy as possible. She told me they had cameras if I wanted to check in (which I did not feel I needed to do), that she had been an assistant vet tech, she sent me photos during the day and posted pictures on Instagram. I cannot tell you how good that all made me feel, that someone was loving and caring for my little man as much as I do. I HIGHLY recommend Daily Wag and the next time we are in Denver, Oliver will be making a return trip to see his new friends!!
This place is amazing all the staff is great, but Stephanie is the best!! She 100 percent cares about and loves the dogs. She was great the whole time my dog was there and even sent me picture updates throughout my dogs stay. My dog made friends there🙂 and I found my favorite doggy daycare …
My dog is super anxious and unsure about new situations so when I first was looking for boarding places I was really nervous about how things would go. I even went to other places and didn't feel sure leaving my pup there so I kept looking. But the second I came to Daily Wag I was blown away with how helpful and accommodating the staff are here. Steph and the others constantly go above and beyond to make sure my dog feels safe, loved, and has a fun time playing with other dogs. They clearly care and love every single dog that walks through their doors and do everything I can to make sure they are happy and loved. There is also an option to watch their 24/7 camera feed to watch the dogs playing, and they constantly post pictures of the dogs playing on social media. They even put up with my crazy pup's diet without batting an eye, I can't recommend them strongly enough :)
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this doggie daycare and boarding facility. Trusting your pup with anyone is a big ask, but Daily Wag does not disappoint. They are very kind to both pup and owner. You can rest assured that your pup is in good hands and paws with these folks. The staff genuinely care about the pups and making sure they are having fun and safe. The excitement in my pup's face and tail when we are about to walk in speaks for itself. I take my pup here for both daycare and overnight boarding and have had nothing but wonderful experiences on all occasions. Great package rates too.
We have been taking our dog to daily wag since 2017 and cannot say enough good things about them! They always take such good care of our pup for both daycare and boarding. And the prices cannot be beat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 15/10.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I am so thankful my girls (Bessie May a 3.5 year old Basset Hound and Roo a 2 year old perfect Mutt) have such an amazing place to board and go for daycare. It is obvious the staff are dog people and that they truly care about each dog staying there. They do a fantastic job keeping us updated when the girls are boarded with calls and loads of videos/pictures! Most importantly, the girls get so excited when we pull up to Daily Wag. It is so reassuring to know they are excited to be there!
Huge kudos to Daily Wag for caring for our 2 yr. old Goldendoodle, Norman. Stephaine goes out of her way to support Norman during the doggy daycare and overnight. The entire staff provides a safe and caring environment. There is structure and schedule to the day, so pups play with dogs of similar size/ age and arrange quiet times so as not to overload the pets. When we pick up Norman, we always get a report on his interactions with other dogs. Daily Wag offers a doggie cam through an online app. and regularly posted updates on IG. We truly appreciate the staff and highly recommend Daily Wag to anyone seeking quality dog care in Denver.
If I could give zero stars I would! STAY AWAY! I used City Bark Lodo to board my dog. On the morning of 6/16/24 my dog obtained an injury which resulted in sutures and medication. I was informed by the staff that the injury was not self inflicted and happened during supervised play time with other dogs. When I picked up my dog the staff told me to submit any vet bills for reimbursement. I proceeded to send my vet invoice to City Bark Lodo for the reimbursement on 6/18/24. After a month of waiting, I reached out for an update on reimbursement process (7/17/24). The General Manager (Kaylynn Bird) had not begun the process of reimbursement at that point. I requested my money back for the boarding due to the inconvenience this had caused. I received my money back for the boarding and a promise from the general manager that the vet invoice would be processed. It has been over 3 months since the incident and the general manager has stopped responding to my correspondence, and has not given proof that the vet bill has reimbursement process was even started. The vet bill was $612.09
Stay away unless you want your sweet dog to be traumatized. When I spoke to the receptionist, they reassured me they would look after my 5-month old pup. The red flags were obvious upon dropping him off. The woman with long fake eyelashes at reception kept complaining about how much she wanted to go home and take a nap when I tried to verify my pup would be looked after during evaluation. I requested he not be put into 15+ groups with large dogs and to let him rest after evaluation given his age. She reiterated how much she wanted to take a 3 hour nap. I should’ve known in that moment the neglect present at this facility. I requested he be socialized with low-energy small dogs that aligned with his needs and was reassured he'd be monitored properly. I never received a notification that my pup was finished with his evaluation as promised. At 2 pm, I checked the webcams and, sure enough, he was in a playroom with 20+ large dogs. The attendant was checked out on their phone texting, not paying attention at all. I watched multiple times as my helpless, timid pup was bullied without any intervention. A bully dog continued to grab him aggressively by the ears and drag him around. It was obvious in the live cam that my pup was not consenting to this rough treatment. Wouldn’t call it anything close to "play". My dog was trying to get away but would be pinned on his back and dragged by his ears by this bully dog. The one attendant on their phone, not paying attention. This went on for 15+ minutes. My dog was left defenseless and helpless. I called multiple times to ask that he be removed from this playroom but was sent to voicemail. I had to leave my work conference early to rescue my dog from this maltreatment and neglect. I had asked that he not be put in this environment in the first place given his age. Proceed with caution at this facility. They will throw your dog into groups of 20+ when understaffed with untrained, distracted professionals monitoring playtime. They allow the one attendant on-duty to text while neglecting a room full of dogs. It's shocking. They don’t care about the needs of your dog or actively monitor consensual, equal, fair dog play. Seems obvious given the evaluation is free. Should’ve known. Stay away unless you want your sweet dog to be traumatized. See attachments for proof. In one screenshot, the attendant just walks by.
We have used city bark lodo for over 5 years and the place has been on a decline to the point that we decided to move to a different daycare and boarding facility. City bark used to be really well run, orderly and clean and I felt like my dog was well cared for. Management has changed and there were several things that added up over time, and I wish we found a new place sooner. For example, we paid for the boarding package with a photo update and would regularly not receive the updates unless we called. One day it was very nice out and at pick up I asked if the dogs went outside and they said “not today because of the weather” which I thought was odd - they advertise having a nice outdoor play area. Drop off and pick up became very frustrating - not just the parking lot or construction which isn’t their fault, but there would be only 1-2 people staffed during peaks pickup drop off times so it would take a while. On one occasion, there were 2 people up front at a peak pickup time, paying no attention to customers and the line forming. The final straw was a few weeks ago during a “reservation only” day. I get to the desk and I thought my husband made a reservation but he didn’t, so that’s on us. But during the 10 or so minutes I waited to check in to find this info out, I became increasingly aware of how poorly the place was being run. The front area was disheveled and had a strong urine/dirty smell. When the front desk told me that we didn’t have a reservation, I actually felt relief because it didn’t feel like a safe, clean place to leave my dog. I left the facility with my dog and that day enrolled her in a different daycare. I think we put too much into how much we USED to love this place, but it’s a completely different place now. I would recommend finding another place to send your dog for daycare/boarding.
Our 2 year old mutt Juniper loves City Bark! This is my first dog in 15 years so I was worried about finding her proper boarding. She comes home calm and happy from City bark. She’s gotten more comfortable with the other dogs. She is excited to go to the day care. She’s. A fearful dog sometimes so the fact she loves City bark makes us feel so happy. Love this place! Also the live cams are really reassuring for pet parents.
I’ve been taking my dog to city bark for over a year now, and I cannot emphasize how great this location is. All of the employees are extremely kind and go well out of their way to make sure my dog is in loving hands when I drop him off!
City Bark Lodo has very caring staff. The site manager is excellent with planning, ensuring the facility has the best environment for dogs, and she prioritizes the dogs over ALL other considerations. Upgrades and improvements coming soon, which are icing on the cake of a really good place, already. The webcams are terrific. Highly recommend this facility.
The staff are wonderful and I know my dog is getting love and attention every time, whether daycare or boarding. It would be a full five stars if parking was improved and faster process to dropoff/pickup - my only desire! But again, the people make the difference here and have never been disappointed.
So convinced that the good reviews are fake. It’s frustrating to get here on time for a grooming appointment and be told the groomer isn’t in and they’ll just call me whenever. Then they’ll cancel my appointment on the spot! Leaving screenshots as proof. They’ll respond to all the bad ones with something like “this is not a common occurrence” but it seems that this place is heavily disliked by many dog owners in the neighborhood. Do with that information what you must. This has happened on numerous occasions at this location. I’m not sure I want to leave my dogs at a place that can’t take responsibility or accountability. This location could have some baseline respect to let us know before we arrive that they won’t honor our appointment, but that’s far beyond my expectations for this place.
Unfortunately, drop off and pickup is chaotic and not timely during busy hours. I’d plan on 10+ min for both. Also, I’ve heard different information on requiring vaccines or reservations each time I’ve been in. Finally, my dog has been at this location 6 days over the last 7 days and the same employee didn’t recognize him. It just doesn’t feel organized or comforting like a dog daycare should. I have stayed optimistic things would change but they haven’t, so we will need to start looking at other options.
If you are looking for a doggy daycare that will provide exceptional care for your furry family member, look no further than this incredible facility! Our tripod puppy is a relatively new member of the City Bark family, and we are blown away by the level of care and attention she receives every day she attends. When she first started at City Bark LoDo, she was still recovering from a leg amputation and a fractured hip. The staff at the daycare were incredibly patient and attentive, making sure to keep a close eye on her and ensure she was comfortable and safe as she regained her strength. On days we have been really worried about her, they have taken time out of their day to text us to let us know how things were going. Despite her previous injuries, they have been determined to help her learn how to play and be active like any other puppy. Thanks to their support and encouragement, she is now finally able to play like the puppy she is! The facility itself is top-notch - always clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for dogs to play and exercise. We especially appreciate the fact that there are cameras available so we can check in on her throughout the day. But what really sets this daycare apart is the people who work there. From the General Manager (Miguel Hernandez) who took the time to come out to the car to meet our dog before we even enrolled her (she wasn’t allowed to do much walking at that point), to the caring and attentive staff who truly seem to love their job, we have been blown away by the level of care and attention our dog receives every time she's there. Thanks to this wonderful team, our doggy daycare has truly become our pup's “home away from home”. We feel so lucky to have found such a fantastic place for her to spend her days and would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and loving environment for their furry family members!
Taylor is phenomenal! She was quick and responsive when I first reached out about her pet services and was able to set up a same day meet and greet. She shows so much care and compassion in what she does and never has me doubting that our pup is in good hands. I appreciate the report that comes after a walk that details how the walk went from start to finish and provides pictures, too! Your Denver Sitter is the way to go!
Taylor is amazing! You don’t meet many people like her - such a great human and truly fantastic. She always goes above and beyond for our dogs and has the best communication. We have a puppy and a senior dog, so Taylor is great with dogs of all ages and energy levels. She loves our dogs like her own and we can go away on a trip without any worries. Beyond grateful for Taylor! P.S. - her partner loves dogs just as much as she does, so your fur babies get double the love. What’s better?
Taylor is such an attentive dog sitter! We have a shy and timid little guy, and she is so great about taking the time to make him comfortable and bring him out of his shell! She updated us all day long about him (including when he had his meds, how much food, how lovey he was being, etc) and that made us feel at ease! Our little guy is 9 years old and this was his first time staying with a sitter outside of the family- we know he was in great hands!!
Taylor treats my animals like her own. Her updates take away all of my anxiety when I am on trips and away from my fur babies. I have had a hard time trusting larger shelters with some bad experiences in the past and Taylor heard my issues and raised the bar for standards of pet care. Taylor will forever be my go to sitter.
She is such a great person to talk to! Super understanding. Love thst all her employees have insurance to ensure a good professional environment. I recommend Taylor! She will love your dog like it's her own! ❤️🐾 …
Taylor is the best pet sitter in Denver! She cares for all animals like they were her own children. It’s not just a play date but Taylor also provides light training that really sets your pup (or any other animal) up for success. I always know my little nugget is in for a day of snuggles, play time, and lots of caring attention when she gets to hangout with Taylor!! 10/10 would recommend!
Taylor is absolutely amazing. The care and attention she gives our old cat, Leo is wonderful. She’s great about sending updates, photos, videos…very accommodating. We have no doubt our Leo misses her when we return! Highly recommended.
Treats my puppy like it was her own. She appreciates and recognizes how important it is to spend time with my puppy while I’m at work. It’s nice to know this isn’t just an obligation to make time for my pet, it’s more like an inherited drive she has to love each pet and make every client confident that their pet is taken care of! She truly cares about each pet she visits, and she is beyond amazing. I would recommend her to anyone, and I’m so glad I found her!
My dog loves Taylor! She is always on time and her booking system is so easy! I have a chaotic schedule but I am more at ease knowing my dog is in good hands
Logan loves his walks and snuggles with Taylor. She always pays attention to his energy level for the day because he can’t tolerate the heat, so sometimes just needs company in the shade. I always get detailed updates on his shenanigans.
I can’t say enough great things about Dan. He knows dogs really well and helped me to get to know my dog and my actions with my dog better. I had back surgery and needed someone to help walk my dog who doesn’t do well with other people. So I was worried when Dan came over to meet us. But Dan was very calm, confident, obviously experienced, patient and respectful. My dog always enjoyed walks with Dan. I was very happy to have a dog walker that was so dependable! Dan’s communication was great. I work from home and he always gave me plenty of heads up on when he’d be coming to walk my dog and when he was on his way back from the walk. Dan is also just a great guy. We had several great conversations. He also gave me a lot of great ideas and insight for home improvements for free, lol. I highly recommend Dan!!!
Dan was an absolute pleasure to talk to and plan with and my dog couldn't have had a better time! He actually didn't want to leave Dan's house... so I think that says all you need to know. :) My dog loved his two super cute and playful dogs and Dan was great with updating me on how Uno was doing. In addition to that, he took Uno on long daily walks and made sure he got all of his energy out. I will definitely be calling Dan when I need to have someone I trust watch Uno for an extended amount of time again. Thanks again!! :)
Dan is great! He takes him out for walks and takes care of him. I dare to say they bonded the first day they met 😅💜. Dan is very respectful of my house and definitely trust him when I’m not home and definitely with my dog. I highly recommend Dan if you’re looking for someone to look out for your pets. …
Dan did an incredible job watching our Labradoodle puppy Aspen for a whole week while we were in Hawaii early Feb. Aspen got plenty of attention & exercise during the stay and she was so happy when we picked her up. Dan made sure to update us with photos and videos, and even let Aspen sleep with him so our pup was extra comfortable while we were gone. Great communication throughout the experience and was super flexible with drop-off/pick-up times with the winter weather being nasty. Glad we found this for the future!
Our two dogs stayed with Dan and The Backyard Escape for several days while we were out of town and we all had a great experience. One of our dogs is older and wants to simply relax with very short walks. Dan sent us numerous pictures of her in her bed in various locations (relaxing with the other doggie friends or on their porch). Our other dog has quite of bit of energy and she really loved going on longer daily walks and playing with the other doggie friends (we received great pictures and videos). We really trust Dan and will definitely use The Backyard Escape again in the future.
I'm so grateful we chose Dan to care for our dog when we went on vacation for several weeks. He goes above and beyond, treating our pup like one of his own. He truly goes the extra mile and was great to work with all around. He is so kind, dependable, and flexible. Great communication and sent pictures of my pup, I didn't worry about her at all while I was away, which was great. I would absolutely give my recommendations for any of your fur babies needs!
I simply cannot say enough about Dan. We were nervous about finding week-long care for our one-year-old dog, as we had never left her for that long before. After visiting Dan’s home, all those nerves disappeared. He’s kind, confident, and knowledgeable, and his love for dogs is clear. His home is immaculate, and he has the perfect outdoor space - truly a “backyard escape!” Each day of our vacation, we received texts, photos, and even video updates of how our baby was doing. (We think she had a better vacation than we did!) It was like summer camp for her - one or two walks a day, lots of romping and playing with other dogs, and tons of love and cuddles in a home environment. I don’t see us ever choosing anyone else to take care of our dog. Dan is an expert at what he does, ensuring the dogs have a blast and their humans have peace of mind.
Dan has been walking our 2 Goldendoodles for a bit now. They love him, truly all I have to say is Dans here time for your walk and they are running to the gate to meet him. He is reliable, has great communication and truly cares for our fur babies! I love that I get pictures and texts after walks to let me know how it went. Highly recommend him!
We have used Dan for both dog walking and boarding. He treats our dogs likes his own and communicates very well. We enjoy getting pictures and hearing about what they are up to while we are away. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy and easy to work with, Dan is the man!
I have only positive things to say about Dan at the Backyard Escape. The dogs absolutely loved Dan which gave me piece of mind. They have a ‘normal’ home environment with the option of going in and out of the house, play time with the other dogs and daily walks. I also got an update with how things were going which was wonderful. I would highly recommend Dan if you need a positive, worry-free place to keep your dogs.
We've been using Aubrey and her services at the Pet Valet for at least 15 years and she's always been great. We've needed it all - dog walking, cat visitations and playing, dog transportation, medication/insulin, and lots of love for the various pets we've had through the years. We highly recommend the Pet Valet.
Pet Valet has been taking care of my dog for about a year. My dog absolutely loves her main sitter, Ed, but everyone who has come to take care of her always sends such nice pictures and reports. They are SO reliable and always accommodating. I would recommend anyone trust their dog with this wonderful group!
I absolutely love the Pet Valet, they have been walking my dog for over 10 years, and I trust them completely. Aubrey is such a wonderful person, and my woofer loves her! She also works with my crazy work schedule which is great. I would recommend The Pet Valet 100% and have!
We suddenly found ourselves looking for a petsitter for a long trip after our trusted sitter of many years retired. It was scary finding someone new -- we expected to be out of cell phone contact for much of the time -- but Aubrey and her crew made us feel comfortable and safe. They updated us regularly with text and photos, so we could catch up whenever we had connection. My cats and skinny pig were healthy and happy when we returned home! I will rely on them for pet care in the future.
The pet valet is excellent. They've been taking care of my two wild dogs for nearly five years of daily walks and the occasional overnight. The same person has been walking my girls for a few years, and the girls L O V E her. Aubrey is flexible and responsive to communication.
Aubrey and her team are amazing. I will not trust our dogs to any other walkers. Great communications and relationship with our pets. Our dogs are always smiling after a Pet Valet walk!
My wife and I have been using the Pet Valet for around 4 years. We could not be happier with the service that is provided and the amount of time and care the company owner and employees put into their work. It feels way more like a friend/family coming over to watch your pet than it does a company. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a pet sitter/walker in Denver!
We just started using The Pet Valet last year and we are so pleased and happy with their services. Aubrey and her team are very reliable, responsive, and they have great communication with us while we're away. I would highly recommended The Pet Valet.
Aubrey and her staff have been watching my favorite cat and dog for a few years now. They are all awesome and VERY reliable! I feel completely comfortable leaving my pets with them when I have to be gone. Highly recommend!
Aubrey is fantastic and really cares for the animals. My dog is always excited to see her and I know when the appointment is scheduled she will be there. I've also used the overnight service and was very happy.
We’ve been taking our dogs to Waggin Tails regularly for daycare and boarding the last three years, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. The staff are all so incredibly kind, and treat both of our dogs with such great care. Our big guy pouts until we take him to daycare, and doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. 🥹🩵
we have been bringing our 6mo guy to waggin’ tails for the last few months. bucky always knows when we turn onto the street where he’s going, and goes absolutely nuts if you ask him “wanna go to school?” leaving your baby in the hands of others is scary, but we know 100% for sure that he has the most amazing time getting all the love, pets, and plays with friends every time he goes. yesterday was beach day, and since he didn’t finish his ice cream we were able to bring it home for him to enjoy when he wanted (see evidence below). 10/10 recommend! <3
We are so happy we found this place. Our Standard Poodle, Hazel, LOVES going here for daycare. She will be boarded soon and I'm sure she will have a great time. Everyone is so nice. Our first visit was to see how she would do with other dogs and then she stayed the day and had a blast. When I picked her up, I got a tour of the place so I could see what the kennels look like. They are very spacious and clean. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our fur baby and making us feel comfortable that she has such a safe place to go.
I hate boarding my dogs, but I had to and looked all around me for a place with good reviews and landed on this one. Had to leave them there for three days and when I got them back, they were worn out but happy. The staff there is so incredibly nice. All of them. You can watch your little Muppets on camera during playtime, which makes being away from them just a little bit easier. I'll definitely be bringing my guys back.
A Pawsitively Wonderful Experience at Waggin Tails Dog Resort!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I've been bringing my beloved puppy Kona to Waggin Tails Dog Resort for the past few months, and I couldn't be happier with the exceptional care and services they provide. If you're looking for a top-notch doggy haven, Waggin Tails is the place to be! From the moment you step through the doors, it's evident that the staff at Waggin Tails is not just professionally trained but also genuinely passionate about caring for our furry friends. The level of love and attention they shower upon each dog, including my energetic Kona, is heartwarming. One of the standout features of Waggin Tails is their commitment to creating a fun and engaging environment for the dogs. They regularly host entertaining events, such as pictures with Santa, the Puppy Bowl, and other exciting activities. These events not only provide a delightful experience for the dogs but also create a sense of community among pet owners. The facility itself is impeccably clean, reflecting the staff's dedication to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for all their canine guests. The professionalism displayed by the team at Waggin Tails is truly commendable, and it instills confidence that your pet is in good hands. What sets Waggin Tails apart is their ability to strike a balance between fun and safety. Whether it's playtime in the spacious and secure play areas or nap time in cozy accommodations, Waggin Tails ensures that each dog's individual needs are met. In conclusion, Waggin Tails Dog Resort has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. If you're seeking a reliable, loving, and professional environment for your furry family member, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend Waggin Tails to any pet parent looking to provide their dog with a pawsitively wonderful experience!
I can tell these guys really care about my dog. I get behavioral updates if he shows any signs of nervousness or anxiety, and they offer helpful suggestions. They also call him “Mr. Timber” instead of just Timber, so I can tell they enjoy him. It takes a huge weight off of my mind to know my dog is so well cared for
We love Waggin Tails!! Absolutely the best place for big dogs! Our pup loves it here and the staff is always great!
Our neighbors recommended Waggin' Tails to us and we're glad they did. Our boy Ollie has been having fun meeting new fur friends and the staff is amazing. We have two older dogs at home who won't play with Ollie so we started bringing him here to doggy daycare. Ollie comes home tired from a day of fun. And my personal favorite touch is the bowel of candy at check out!🙌🍫🍬🍭
We have a very energetic Goldendoodle. We take him to Wagging' Tails so he can socialize and play. Every time he goes, he has the best day of his life. He come home happy and EXHAUSTED! The staff is always friendly and attentive to our puppy. We rest assured our baby boy is well taken care of when we drop him off. I mean, look at his face!! Happiest pup in all of Denver!
If i could more stars i definitely would!! First time boarding and it was more than I expected. We left our girl V here for a week and she was so well taken care of. The staff are super friendly and the prices are great. I am so thankful for them..after 8 years my husband and I can finally travel together and know our baby is having a blast! You guys rock!
Lynn is exceptional! She dedicated time to understand my dog's requirements prior to our trip and offered outstanding updates during my dog's stay. It is evident that she genuinely cares for the animals entrusted to her. I felt entirely reassured knowing my dog was in her skilled care. Each video update I received showed my dog appearing comfortable and content. If you have any concerns about leaving your dog with someone or a service while you are away, Lynn is the ideal choice. I highly recommend her services!
I am writing this review while I'm out of town and it is my baby's first stay with Lynns Loving Pet Care. First of all, Lynn and her closest ones have been taking great care of my baby Biscuit. She sends video/text updates very frequently and makes sure that I am enjoying my vacation while she is taking care of my baby. Biscuit is a tiny 5lbs dog with very sensitive stomach. Any little thing can affect his stomach like mommy being away, new home environment and other many things. I brought up my concern when I dropped Biscuit off and as I expected, he started vomiting blood in couple days of myself being away. Lynn handled the situation VERY professionally. She gave me a call right away, noted me with the incident, asked me about medication dosage for treatment and kept him on a bland diet until he felt better. Biscuit was able to recover without any issues in a day. I now trust Lynn with my baby 200%. She will be my go-to boarding for Biscuit if I need to travel out of town. She will love your baby as much as you do and take care of your baby with all her heart. Thank you Lynn, Scott and Jimmy. See you soon when I'm back ❤️
We have brought our dog Gingersnap to Lynn’s Loving Pet Care several times. It is such a relief to know our pet is very well cared for while we are away. Lynn has been in this business for a very long time. The attention to my dog’s needs and personality is unique and comforting. She deeply cares for each and every animal. She gives us such piece of mind! I strongly recommend Lynn’s Loving Pet Care for boarding your precious fur babies.
Lynn did an excellent job of taking care of my little Sophie. She Sent us daily updates so we could see How she was doing. I would highly recommend Lynn as she truly cares about the animals.
Lynn and Scott have been taking care of my dogs for ten years now. I can always depend on them and my dogs just love going over there. They get so excited when they know we are going there. Lynn is very responsive to my needs and any questions that I may have. They seem to genuinely love our dogs and they take excellent care of them!!!
Lynn is fantastic! She took the time to get to know my dog's needs before our trip and provided excellent updates throughout our dog's stay. You can tell she truly cares about the animals in her care. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in her capable hands. My dog seemed comfortable and happy from every video update I received. If you are nervous about leaving your dog with any person or service while you are out of town, Lynn is your best bet. Highly recommend!
We boarded our 11 year old dog Bear with Lynn’s Loving Pet Care. He could not have had better care. He has many health issues and was taken care of so well. Lynn kept us updated about him and sent videos and pictures of him enjoying himself. There are no cages involved and he enjoyed lying on the couches and bed. Lynn deserves more than a 5 star rating. We will be happy to board Bear with Lynn again.
Lynn’s Loving Pet Care is the absolute best. I originally stumbled across her website when my planned pet sitter had to cancel at the last minute. Trusting your fur babies to strangers can be incredibly stressful. But Lynn immediately relieved that stress. You quickly realize that your babies become her babies. I won’t leave our fur baby anywhere else. It is truly her home away from home.
Highly recommend Lynn for your boarding needs. She watched our 8 year old lab mix this weekend while we were away and did an exceptional job. She shared pictures/videos and updates throughout the day. She does not kennel the dogs in her home which was one of our top priorities when choosing a place to board our boy. We felt so comfortable leaving our dog in her care. We will definitely be coming back!
We took our golden doodle to stay at Lynn’s loving pet care for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. We are always skeptical to leave her anywhere because she hates being away from her home and family. Lynn does such an amazing job with the dogs. She is licensed and has been doing this for 22 years, she treats your dog just like one of her own. Our dog is a very picky eater and she actually gained weight there. Lynn checks all the ingredients to assure they are safe for your pet. I loved that somebody was always there to tend to the dogs Lynn, her husband and brother in law. The dogs get so much attention and love and Lynn sent me a video everyday to show me how she was doing. We couldn’t be happier and have finally found her home away from home. I highly recommend Lynn’s loving pet care, excellent.
My Dolly had the pleasure getting to visit Digstown this week for the first time. Even though they knew she was only in town for a couple days, they opened their doors to her, and she absolutely loved it there! I found their staff to be really wonderful, communication was excellent, And their facilities were both clean and really well thought out for the dogs. It was such a relief to know that my pup was in such good hands And made some new friends here in Denver. Thank you!!!
The best way to describe my pups’ experience at Digs is like an all inclusive resort vacation… they have plenty of room to relax, can engage with other pups and play when they feel like it, it’s super safe and clean, and when I pick them up they’re bathed and smell good. It’s easy to see the owner cares about dogs, love to see people who get into a business for the right reasons. Thanks Digstown!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO DIGSTOWN. Our goldendoodle Soji was bitten by another dog while at daycare. Not only did they not even notice, but they blamed our dog, claiming she must’ve been the aggressor, even though they admitted that nobody saw anything. Our sweet, friendly, and timid puppy had to get shots. Not a safe environment at all
My two pups enjoy this place. Staff is great. My family can enjoy our trips without having to worry about our pups.
The entire building is a health hazard. I don’t know HOW this place is still open. It’s grimy, disgusting, and it’s clear that the staff care very little and see the dogs as just numbers/money. Please do NOT bring your dogs here, both for their health and safety. Injuries are to be expected at dog daycares, but the amount and severity that come out of this place are sickening. Owners do not care, and there’s a reason for the consistent high-staff turnover, I’m sure. If you love your dog, don’t bring them here.
I was a consistent customer and patron for my original pup (now almost 4 years) and then my rescue (for last year) - so gave them business for 3.5 years consistently and SO many recommendations. I never complained about the service, or when it stank, or when mistakes were made about the schedule. Part of it was the staff was great both with my dogs and at customer service. They've had constant staff changeover. I kept going and found it odd they had to place a sign on their door saying "be kind to our staff" for the last 4 months. Well, I figured out why. A few weeks ago I came to pick up my pups after boarding for 3 nights after making it clear the baths I paid for should happen day of pickup and I was picking up in the evening. In the past they've forgotten and it's not been a big deal, they just credited my account and apologized. The woman at the front desk was newer and when I asked if the dogs got baths, she replied "yes, yesterday because you were supposed to pick up at 8:30am". I got defensive because I KNEW I filled out the form stating I'd be there day of closer to 7pm. She kept blaming me, horrible customer service.....Finally I said "This is stupid we could just pull the form". She didn't and apparently didn't know where it was. I asked if I could speak to the manager about getting a refund for the baths as bathing dogs and them being still there 24 hours is pointless. Later the manager called me and said his employee claimed I was very mean. The next call he told me she said I called her stupid. I tried to explain the situation but knowing things felt VERY off posted on a PRIVATE small FB page "Help, I need recommendations for dog daycare or sitters other than Digstown! I've used them for a long time but things are not going as smoothly and they keep upping their prices and now I have two dogs!" I didn't hear back from the manager who said he'd look into it for 2 days, so I called and it referred me to the manager email. I emailed for follow up, explaining the SNAFU and honestly requesting they just be honest if they didn't want my business as this was every interaction vibe I'd had. Whoever responded (fairly certain it was the business owner) gaslit me like crazy, played the victim as a small business, and clearly was on the private neighborhood facebook page. Responded with this "I do, however, feel like we can seek out other businesses to visit without negatively remarking about the current small business that you are patronizing on social media. It does suggest that the decision is already made for us with that approach, and so we can decide to part ways". I can't respond to the owners reply to my initial so editing my post. I am in the medical field and get treated poorly by patients and family all the time. We only ever dismiss/discharge persons if there is a clear pattern of behavior. I have been a consistent and KIND customer of Digstown for years. I did not get testy until their front desk person accused me of being at fault from the get go for their mistake. Then, yes, I could have handled things with more grace (they have no clue what my life is like), but rather they escalated things, never took accountability for how their staff approached the situation and asked me to never come back. Then after my one star review the owners have made up 5 star reviews. WOW. Now that I know how things really are run there I am so glad this incident forced me to find other accommodations for my awesome pups that weren't just based on the convenience of their location. My rescue never liked it there and she's a way better judge of character than my retriever.
I have taken my boy Raja to Digstown for the last 13 years for both day care and boarding. I have to say I can’t be any more appreciative of their professionalism and the outstanding care they have provided for him over the years. They have always been so accommodating of his needs and I truly feel they treat the dogs as their own. Now given his age and some physical problems, Raja requires a bit more accommodations and assistance. Once again, the incredible staff have always stepped up to make his stay one that is comfortable and enjoyable. I cannot tell you what a relief it is to take a trip and have the peace of mind that he is safe and taken care of. Thanks to ALL the staff and leadership at Digstown!!
We're so thankful to Digstown for their care and concern for our two-year-old mix, Bird. She's a nervous dog with lots of energy and can be a handful. Bird was very anxious the first time she went to daycare, and so was I! The staff was always so gentle, slow-moving, and warm with her. She's much more comfortable now. But they still show a real consideration and affection for her.
Although we were unable to board our pup due to unforeseen circumstances (no fault of Disgtown), we would not hesitate to use Digstown during our next visit to Denver. The location was clean, staff was friendly, and prices were fair.
Our Frenchie, Frank, loves going to Digstown! Every time we go he runs right in to see his friends. The staff are always very accommodating of any special needs or requests and genuinely seem to care about our little Frank. He even won a Spaw day at the end of January and got a free bath (which I’m sure I was more excited about than he was!)
Aisha is the absolute best when it comes to pet care in Colorado and I am so glad that we found her! I have absolute faith that our dog has the best time when he's with her because he can't wait to run through her door every time we drop him off. Additionally, Aisha is excellent when it comes to communication. I know most, if not all, owners miss their pets dearly when they leave town, and Aisha sends updates and photos every single night without fail! She is thoughtful and kind and I know that she truly loves every animal that she is able to care for. I also know that my dog is safe in her care which is super important. If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter, Aisha is the perfect person to do the job. We plan to stick with PoshPups forever!
Aisha was our primary dog walker and sitter for two years in Jersey City, NJ. During that time, she treated our fur baby Stella as if she were her own. Aisha has an amazing ability to make Stella comfortable, understands her quirks, and treated her with the utmost love and care. She is an excellent communicator, extremely reliable, and even takes amazing pictures! We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have her in our lives. We recently moved, and our one concern with moving was if we could ever find a sitter as wonderful as Aisha. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants the BEST for their pets!
Aisha is absolutely wonderful. I got my first dog Lena as a puppy right before the pandemic and I had no clue what I was doing. My 5 pound new puppy was so unhappy on walks in the rain and snow and cold that I could hardly get her half a block in a half hour most of the time. But after just a few walks with Aisha she was so much happier and more comfortable outside. Aisha also watched Lena in my apartment for a long weekend and Lena has been totally obsessed with her ever since. Obviously I trust her completely with my pet - she is as loving and cautious as I am with Lena, she was reliable and responsive during planning and also while I was away. She always sent pictures and updates - I never needed to ask or nag her. I know Lena had a good time because every time we've seen Aisha since Lena has lost her mind with excitement. Aisha is also a really great person - she is friendly, warm and open, the kind of person who makes you feel immediately comfortable. On top of all that, Aisha takes totally amazing pictures - some of my best pics of Lena as a puppy are from her time with Aisha. She not only captures the moment but Lena's whole personality. I would recommend her to everyone and especially to anyone who wants their pet in the care of someone who will take as much joy in taking care of your pet as you do.
Aisha clearly has a love for dogs, and I could not have had a better experience with PoshPups. Marge stayed with her for 4 days over the holidays and had a blast! We got lots of pictures and updates, and I felt great about her being loved and secure while leaving town. Couldn't recommend PoshPups enough!
Aisha is our favorite dog walker!! I highly recommend her as a walker and house sitter who will truly care about your furry friends as much as you do. My dog is always as excited to see her as she is to see family members. I think that tells you something about the way Aisha is with dogs in order to get them to love her his much. She exudes a kind, caring and calm energy that puts dogs (and people) at ease. She's also great at accommodating my dog's special needs (related to regulating water intake), and she takes awesome photos on walks (but that's just the icing on the cake obviously). Following her on IG, I feel like I've gotten to know a lot of her other clients' dogs and their fun and quirky personalities.
Aisha has been walking our little Chloe for almost 3 years now. She first started as our temporary dog walker whenever our regular one was on vacation. Aisha was so good it made the most sense to make her as our regular dog walker. She loves our Chloe as her own and takes really good care of her. Aisha has become a friend and family to us. Our family loves her and we are very sad to see her go. However, we’re excited for her next chapter in Colorado. We are so lucky to have her and I am sure many of the pet parents in Jersey City would agree. Chloe would be missing her morning and afternoon walks with Aisha. The pet parents would definitely miss the warm conversations with her! All the best, Aisha!
Aisha was a wonderful dog walker for our puppy Jorge. Whenever I was out with Jorge and we came across Aisha in the neighborhood, it would be Aisha that would catch if something got into Jorge’s mouth while we were saying hello. She is highly attentive to a dog’s needs and it’s evident that she truly cares for her furry charges. She also took wonderful pictures during her walks with Jorge and gave a detailed report on what happened. Jorge loved seeing her and we would highly recommend her services.
Aisha is the best and my favorite dogwalker. She gives each client and their pet careful and loving individual attention. She is thorough with her communication. I was use to companies who hire walkers I never met and couldn’t communicate directly with who was with my dog. Aisha is the opposite. I could always get in touch with her, I knew who was caring for my dog and she gave me details of the walks when necessary. I am spoiled to have her. Colorado is lucky to be getting her. I might have to move to Colorado just for my pup Charlie!
Aisha is great at what she does, which is to say she’s great at caring for dogs and she’s great at assuring people that their dogs are in good hands. She’s provided several overnight care stays with my anxious dog while my wife and I travelled. Aisha frequently sent photos and updates on how Ruby was faring. She also left our apartment clean and in great condition, with a happy dog to greet us. We unreservedly recommend Aisha.
Our dog, Bear, loves walks with Aisha! She takes great care of him and the other dogs in the pack. We love that he gets to socialize with on his daily walk, especially after having a newborn. She has been a lifesaver to make sure we don’t forget to care for our sweet pup. And we love the daily photos! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker.
