Kelly was an excellent sitter for us. She communicated well, before the sit and during the sit. When we got home, the dogs and our guinea pig were happy and well. Kelly was dependable and showed up exactly on time. The house was well maintained and clean when we arrived home. We would definitely host Kelly again.

She was very accommodating in meeting me & the dogs in advance of our sit, which proved she is a true pet person: attentive to my dogs and eager to know how they should be cared for. David was a great sitter for our dog! It was just him for this sit. He was very communicative before, during, and after the stay. He visited the apartment before we left to meet our dog and talk with us, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident that our dog was in good hands. He sent us updates throughout the stay, and left the apartment in great condition. While our dog is on the older side, he can still be a handful at times, but David didn’t seem to have any problems. Would definitely recommend David for any future sit!

Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.

Oh my Goodness! Where to begin. Linda was the perfect house sitter for us and the perfect pet sitter for Olivia! She is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. When we returned from out two week vacation all our plants were alive, the garden was alive, the birds and fish had been fed regularly, and the dog was alive and happy! What more can you ask for, right? Well with Linda you get all that and more. Updates as you request - even videos of her morning walks with Olivia. The house as spotless as we left it, maybe even better! Even the porches were clean! Linda is a genuine treasure and our recommendation would be 10 stars if there were that many!!

I cannot thank Jenny and Geoff enough for stepping in at the last minute after the original sitter cancelled. They are a great couple, friendly , organised and extremely capable. Also they LOVE animals. My dog and cat have clearly been given a great deal of care and attention in my absence. Jenny kept in touch with notes and lovely photos, Geoff cut my grass and I came home to a spotlessly sparkling house ! Thank you so much! Jenny and Geoff are welcome back anytime and I would not hesitate to recommend them as excellent sitters.

I had been searching for a reliable and trustworthy groomer to deshed, bathe, and groom my two Akitas, and after asking a Facebook group for recommendations, Country K-9 Grooming came up repeatedly. The sheer number of people who vouched for them was impressive, so I decided to give them a call as soon as they opened. From the initial phone call, I knew I’d made the right choice. The customer service was exceptional, and when I asked if they were comfortable working with Akitas—a breed often met with hesitation and restrictions—they didn’t even flinch. I’m used to hearing, “No, sorry, we don’t touch Akitas,” far more often than you’d think. I explained that while my dogs are well-behaved, they can be vocal and stubborn, as the breed often is. The staff reassured me they were experienced and happy to accommodate, and I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day—unbelievably quick compared to the week or two wait I’ve had with mobile grooming services. When I arrived, the kindness and warmth from the staff were unmatched. They genuinely listened as I shared my concerns, especially about how important my dogs are to me. When my fiancé passed away, my Akitas were rehomed against my will, and those nine days without them were the worst of my life. These dogs are my world and the reason I’m still standing. The team at Country K-9 Grooming showed genuine compassion, reassuring me that they’d take excellent care of my “children” and even gave me a clear timeline for pick-up. I mentioned that my girl can be a bit of a brat with other female dogs, and they made sure to keep her and my boy together in a private room, which I greatly appreciated. They kept me updated throughout the process, calling as soon as each of my dogs was finished. Even when I was running late, they were completely understanding and reassured me that my pups were doing great. When I picked them up, I was blown away. My Akitas looked better than ever—clean, fluffy, and perfectly groomed. The staff even told me my two were the best Akitas they’ve ever worked with, which warmed my heart. And to top it all off, the price was incredibly reasonable: I paid $300 less than I did with my previous mobile groomer. I admit my dog was matted. But dam! I have never had a groomer butcher my dog being matted. Some what new to the area wanted to keep business local. The 1st picture was 2 days ago, 2nd is after a different groomer, 3rd was Country K-9
They did a great Job! My dog’s seriously spas out when it comes to grooming and nail trims.They do fine with bathing. I’m glad they didn’t turn them away, I have so much trouble trying to groom them myself. They were patient and professional. I’m so great full I’ll be back ladies! Sorry I really appreciate you all !!!

Country K-9 does such a great job with all 3 of my dogs, but especially my “special needs” rescue, Murphy! He is pretty fearful of strangers and they schedule a special appointment for him and do such a great job! He gets shaved now as he came to me with matted fur and his hair grows in weird. He always looks so handsome after and seems to remember the girls and does great with them! Thanks so much for taking great care of Murphy and my other doggos!
The girls here are very hard-working! They gave me a four or five hour time window, but they had our boys done in less than three hours!! And they’re a lot of work because blowing out husky fur is time consuming. Our dogs actually liked them, as they are picky with humans. So, immediately a great vibe! we will definitely be regular customers to this wonderful business!!

This was the 3rd time I've taken my German Shepherd Pup and the first for my new Australian Shepherd Pup. As usual they're ready for them as soon as I walk through the door. The Aussie was having fits so they let me bring him back to their holding area. It took about 2 1/2 hours or so and I got the call. They were fully groomed with nails done and everything looking great. Well worth the $50 price tag. My only complaint this time is that it rained all night that night and the Aussie looks worse now than he did when I brought him in and I don't think they have a rain guarantee.
