I’ve used Appletree as my dogs boarder for several years and can thoroughly recommend Penny as an excellent sitter. My dog is always happy to stay with Penny and her guests and is reluctant to leave. I always feel very comfortable leaving Cooper - he’s well looked after and has plenty of space to chill either inside or out. You won’t regret choosing Penny if you need a reliable, flexible sitter. Penny is always quick to respond to requests and is usually able to take the fuzzball.

As the owner of an Irish wolfhound I needed a home from home for her where she was a part of the family. Penny has been brilliant, we started out with a try out session just to make sure everyone was happy and that Juno would fit in with the other dogs. Happily she really settled in well and has continued to do so on many occasions. It’s very reassuring to know my dog is happy while we are away. Also I love the little updates we get during her stay. Our dog Jasper stays with Penny for a couple of weeks every year. Each time we arrive he is super excited! He makes new friends, has lots of fun and each time I leave him, I know he will be well looked after. Penny is great and gives regular updates on how he is getting on which is very reassuring. Top rate place, can't recommend highly enough.

Hamish loves being here. He always comes home as if he’d just had an amazing holiday with many friends. Penny has an amazing way with dogs. We can relax in the knowledge that Hamish is having excellent care and being treated as one of the family.

We are so lucky to discover Penny, we have a Vizsla called Paddy, that loves to be with people and Penny and Steve make him feel very much at home. He loves time spent at Penny’s. There is always something for him to do or other friendly dogs for him to socialise with. Penny’s dog care business is the epitome of a professional canine carer.

My Vizsla Hugo stayed with Penny for a few days to see how he got on before our 2 week holiday at end of the year. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Penny had 5 more Vizslas visit her through his stay. I received many photos and a videos of him having a lovely time and he came back a very sleepy boy.

We have been taking Abby and Squid to Penny for a few years now and I wouldn't send them anywhere else. It really is a home away from home so that you can relax and know that your dogs are well taken care of while you are busy elsewhere

Penny has been looking after Rodney for a few years now. He loves it there (doesn't look back when he goes in) and is comforting to know he's well looked after whilst we are away.

Nikki's been looking after our two cats several times now, longest for 3 weeks, 2 visits every day. She's very mindful of the house, trusworthy, punctual, reliable and very diligent in doing precisely what we've asked her (and we have left a whole book of stuff!). The cats love her and to our disappointment don't really seem to miss us when we're away! Nikki gives us the piece of mind when we go away and we know the cats are in safe hands - so much better leaving them in their environment than taking them to a cattery! I would 100% recommend Nikki to everyone, she's great with animals and clearly knows how to communicate with them- our cats are normally quite nervous around other people but with her they just seem happy and relaxed.

We found Nikki via Google when we started struggling with recall and lead pulling with our 10 month old puppy. Nikki had us booked in for a session quickly and in our first session gave us so many invaluable tools and tips to work on the issues we were having. Obviously any training requires you to work hard yourself and that’s what we did using all Nikkis advice and within a month it was like we had a different puppy who actually listens and is engaged with us and we’re confident the lead pulling will soon be a thing of the past. We just had our second session with Nikki who gave us some further training and recall games to try and in just a couple of days we’re already seeing improvement. We’d recommend Nikki to anyone who may have lost confidence with their puppy to give you the boost you need to get back on track with training!

Nikki was wonderful and really helped us feel more confident and comfortable with our new rescue puppy! We really enjoyed meeting her and our puppy seems to have improved massively from just one session with Nikki! She taught us some really valuable games and interactions with our puppy and gave us insight into his behaviour. Would 100% recommend her services! Thank you, Nikki!

We are really pleased with Nikki services and would recommend to anyone who is looking for good hands to look after their dog. Nikki helped us a lot with both of our puppies especially with one which was a bit more difficult but together with Nikki and her training advices we made such a progress which we really appreciate! Nicola has been great, and she has helped us with 1:1 training of our little Bichon puppy. She has been patient with us as new puppy parents and first time dog owners, by reassuring us and providing excellent advice as we navigate the early days/months of puppy parenthood. I highly recommend Nikki. I wanted to have some 1:1 training to help me with our new puppy. By the end of the first hour, I was feeling much more confident as Nikki had equipped me with the skills to deal with our puppy. I really enjoyed the sessions just as much as our puppy did and found them really interesting as Nikki explains things really well, gives lots of good advice and tips to help you. I also liked how she then put everything in an email to summarise what we had done in each session. Our puppy also loves her!!

Nikki was great and an absolute pleasure to meet. She was great with our puppy, and we have taken a great deal of learning away form our session with her, in which she taught a lot of valuable lessons in our 90 minute appointment. Our puppy has come on leaps and bounds since meeting and continues to build his confidence in such an affectionate way. Would highly recommend Nikki's services.

We had a new puppy(16weeks) and wanted advice on bitting, training, feeding, call response ......just everything about keeping a happy healthy well trained puppy. My word does Nikki deliver! Jessica was an excellent pet sitter for our cats and rabbits. She took great care of them and made time to give them plenty of fuss too. She also messaged us regularly to let us know how they were. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend jessicas pet care, I have 3 fur babies and I get extremely worried about leaving them but jessica is reliable and instantly made me feel at ease with leaving them in her care. Trustworthy and professional and my 2 dogs and cat love her and that says a lot as they are very fussy bunch!

Our dog loves it at the Dog House. Ali and her team really care about the dogs and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Amazing place. The care, fun and professional attitude Ali and her staff give to my dogs whilst they are there us second to none. The facilities are stunning and so much better than a traditional boarding kennel. My dogs love it there and I am very confident that no stone is left unturned in making sure that their stay, whether for day care or boarding, is very well supervised.

Myself and Rocky really enjoyed our experience with Tracey at Dogwarts K9 Academy. We completed both the beginners and progression sessions and have seen such a big difference in Rocky. I started very anxious with a puppy who was always overexcited and constantly bitting on his lead to a dog who walks so much nicer on the lead and can even remain on his boundary. Calmness is definitely key! Would definitely recommend!

Dogwarts training academy is a paw-some !!Tracy teaches the use of positive reinforcement making it a fun and rewarding experience for both you and your pup. The results are so amazing and can’t believe how the training has made life with a puppy so much easier. Tracy is always on hand to answer any questions as well as providing an online hub for you to refer back too.

We have been taking Arthur, our Cockapoo, to Dogwarts K9 Academy for the last 5 months. Arthur has completed his Wizdogs Apprenticeship (beginners group) and has now moved through to progression sessions. Every single session has been fantastic. The sessions are well planned, always lots of fun (for us and Arthur!) and always build on the skills and games worked on in previous sessions. Alongside this, we have also completed beginners scent work for fun classes. Arthur is now a fully qualified truffle hunter! We can't recommend Dogwarts K9 Academy enough - great classes, great teacher and most importantly, Arthur absolutely loves it :-)

I've been reflecting on our time with the training from dogwarts .for nearly a year we enjoyed our classes and scent workshop .because of an incident whilst scent training we were asked not to take dolly anymore to either classes.although initially Tracy was going to give us.some one to.one training we felt that the attitude towards us eventually rejoing the groups was not 100% clear we have had to find another behaviourist to help us with dolly.we felt really let.down and hung.out.to dry by tracy.which of course she denies those conversationds.its suchca shame as we now have no where to trainmeach.week or other workshops and both dolly and i are very upset we didnt get more support .three are lessons to benlearny from our experience fir both teacy and ourselves.safety for all of us should have been the first exercise.. obviously Tracy will have a different take on this but we are still very upset 12 weeks on and feel angry at the lack of proper support from the beginning. If your dog is a happy well rounded dog you chill gain an awful lot from the classes but if there is a problem it is a different case

Finding the right training system for my dog wasn’t easy till the dog and I met Tracy from dogwarts. It sounded a bit complicated when I first read the blurb but it was such a joy when we went to the class. No big numbers, personal help for me and the dog and some homework to keep us going between classes. We look forward to the next class.

Absolutely brilliant training classes that are unlike any I have attended before as they’re mostly game based - really fun sessions which we enjoy just as much as the dog. We’ve recently completed the first life skills beginners block with our rescue dog Oliver who has been with us for nearly three months, the difference in him is amazing already! Group sizes are small and the activities are customised so you can progress at your own pace. Tracy is a great instructor and the online platform which she updates each week allows you to go back in and review the activities at home, including game cards and instructional videos of what you covered in class. We’re really looking forward to starting the second block this week and realising even more of Oliver’s potential :)

I'm absolutely delighted with the progression that my reactive dog has made in just five weeks with Tracy. She really must be part-wizard! Tracy is always calm, positive, creative in how she works with each dog / owner pair as individuals, and willing to answer even the most inane question. I'd thoroughly recommend her to anybody who wants to learn more about working with their dog in a positive way, in a super-positive environment. Thanks, Tracy! I have seen a huge improvement in Rosies’ behaviour since we started lessons with Tracy. The games and exercises are lots of fun for both dog owner and really effective. We are are looking forward to our next course.

After getting my Jackapoo girl I wanted to start on the right foot, in terms of her training and my training. I was fortunate to come across Tracy's beginners puppy session on Facebook. Tracy is very knowledgeable and is ever so helpful with all my questions. Enjoyed so much the beginner's sessions that I did not hesitate to sign up to the next level up. Looking forward to more game based training and the platform based videos and reading e-books/articles that Tracy shares with us. Excellent way to really bond with your dog 😃💛🐶

Riley and I had such a great experience with Tracy and Steve when attending Dogwarts. Learning by playing games is so much nicer for us and easier at the same time. Classes are small and each dog gets equal time - we love that as Riley doesn't like to be in a big group. Trace was always kind and helpful, asking if we understand everything. We missed one lesson but she was kind enough to move it forward for us. We are continuing for another set of lessons and already looking forward to it! Thank you both! See you soon!

This is the first time that we have used Oven Green Kennels. We have an old German Shepherd who we love dearly. The owner of the previous kennels, that we had been using, had suddenly retired and we were left phoning around trying to find another 'good' kennels. Right away from the first telehone contact, I had a positive feeling. When we dropped our dog off, I was impressed by the friendly reception. The owners showed us where he would be staying. Everything was clean, spacious and well organised, They were also happy to spend time with us, talking about his dietery needs and giving us a detailed insight into how they look after the dogs in their care. This morning we collected our dog after a two week stay. He was clean and happy and not trying to make a run for the door, as he had done at some other kennels. We are overjoyed that we have discovered Ovens Green Kennels. They really are exceptionally good!

Our dog George just spent 2 weeks in the care of Ovens Green Kennels and was looked after extremely well. He's come home tired, as he always does from kennels (up all night chatting 😁). We also booked a groom for when we collected him, and it's probably the best we've seen his coat, thank you. One happy dog, very happy owners. Thank you to all who helped look after him.

My dog had a fantastic time here over the weekend. Staff are both friendly and efficient. Looking forward to the next time I go away, happy in the knowledge that my dog is happy and well cared for.

Our dogs have been staying with Karen and Dean for years now. Fantastic service and always willing their best to fit you in. Kennels are modern and lovely. I wouldn't take my dogs any where else. We actually travel over an hour to use Ovens Green kennels. Keep up the good work guys x

Brilliant have used them before and have a family room for my 3 older dogs which they loved as very fussy and now they have a day care facility as well not to mention a grooming palour, wouldn’t go anywhere else and will be using them again now for my 6 Sheltie’s couldn’t recommend them highly enough fab service.

Great place for your pet to go, be it one day or a week, they are well looked after. Our dog Spirit loves it there. When we have left him there, our minds are at rest as we know we have left him in great hands. We would highly recommend Ovens Green Kennels you won’t be disappointed.

Dean and team, are an absolute pleasure. I have a very anxious, unsociable westie Cross, who I was nervous about handing over, leaving him in a strange place. I didn't need to worry, he loves going each and every week, he is cared for, and comes out looking like he had the best day ever, he gets so excited to see Dean that he now howls in delight... I would highly recommended this Boarding kennel..

Feels like dropping your beloved pet off to friends. Owners without question accommodate your pet's diet/ likes, etc. From the first phone call to multiple stays over the previous few years, Dean, Karen + family have been so very friendly and courteous to us. My pet always leaves here calm (unlike an experience elsewhere years ago). You don't need to look elsewhere. I am so so so happy to have found such friendly and professional care here. You'll also be supporting a local family business. What's not to love?

Have used Ovens Green for a couple of years. My rescue lab had previously been badly treated, but she has always loved going to the kennels. Dean and Karen have been very understanding and patient with her and so I have had no problems leaving her in their wonderful care. Would recommend.

I've used Ovens Green for the last 6 years and would highly recommend them. Karen and Dean were wonderful with our last dog (who use to cry when she had to leave the kennels!!) and have been great with our puppy. Both dogs have always been excited when they arrive knowing the fuss that will be made of them.

Carol is brilliant. She works with you and has great attention to detail wanting to know daily routines and patterns so that your pet is completely catered for. I felt at ease being away knowing my dog was being looked after. I even got regular updates and photos. I would never hesitate to use Stellar Pet Care and neither would my dog!

Sarah has done a great job looking after Reggie our house rabbit whilst we were away for a few days. We were sitting having our tea and "ping" our phone went - Sarah had sent us a video of Reggie enjoying himself and some lovely photos of him really chilled and relaxed. A weight off our shoulders and we felt reassured he was being looked after and loved whilst we were away. So happy we've asked Sarah to look after Reggie again later this year :)

We've used Sarah many times to look after our cats in our home. We can thoroughly recommend her. Totally trustworthy, the cats love her and she copes with our cat with renal issues. We never worry about Mikey and Mavis when we go away.

Suzanne looked after our dog Buffy since she was 6 months till she was 2 1/2. We are moving out of the area soon and will miss having someone so trustworthy to look after our girl. Our dog adores her and was always pulling the lead towards the house, which made us so happy. Couldn’t ask for more! She communicates brilliantly, is compassionate and just a lovely person all around. Rare find!

Spot On is run with a kind hand & canine orientated hearts! I have been using their boarding services for several years now & judge them by my dogs reaction & returned to me status. My dog is excited as soon as the overnight bag comes out. By the time we are packing up to drop off, he is ready & waiting to get in the car - such anticipation! You may expect a well administered, regulations adhered to set up. A clean & warm home to accommodate your four legged family & a friendly welcome! My dog has always been happy to return & so, therefore, am I. Thoroughly recommended family team making it a home from home experience for your pet!

Su and family have provided Dog walking, daycare, holiday stays and emergency cover for my dog for the last 7 years and before that looked after my elderly fragile cat. Their service is fully insured and they adhere to high professional standards. They have a great bond with my pets who really enjoy spending time with them as they are treated like one of the family - a home from home. Spot on were key holders for my house which was so useful when I had to rush away on a family emergency. They were able to collect my dog and all she needed and look after her until I was ready to come pick her up. I tried other companies before I discovered Su and family and this is the best by far.

Spot On Pet Care have been looking after Stanley for over a year now.We used their Dog walking service regularly when Stanley was a puppy and now he attends day care and stays overnight and whilst we holiday! I only have to mention Suzannes name and he is chomping at the bit to get round there. Would Highly recommend anyone wanting home from home care for their doggies.

Phoned up to arrange a stay for my dog. She asked what sort of breed he was and if he was good with other dogs. I answered he is half border collie half golden retriever and that the border collie breed makes him pretty excitable but he is a good boy. She promptly said he wouldn't be a good fit because it was in her home. I can understand not wanting a misbehaved dog in my home. But what she failed to find out was my dog is 9 years old and as sweet as they come. It would have been more professional to maybe arrange a meet and greet. Or to at least find out more about him.

Barney loves going to day care each week and Suzanne takes so much care of him - starting to think he likes Suzanne more than me! He can never wait to get through the gate. Suzanne is very caring and I know Barney is in good hands. I would never dream of sending him elsewhere. All queries are responded to very efficiently. Excellent service all round. Would definitely recommend

We have taken our dog Millie to Suzanne for boarding many times now when we have been away and can not take her with us. She is well cared for in a nice family environment and is always happy to go there. I would recommend Spot On to anyone who wants to know there dog is in good hands when you are away.
