We boarded our dog with Lexie for a few days while we were out of the country. When we arrived she met us at the door and right away made us feel welcome and reassured that our boy would be in good hands. And he was! The cost of service was very affordable and we could relax knowing that he was well taken care of. Thank you Lexie!!

Lexie is the best! She has successfully socialized my dog, and the activities tire him out EVERY day. I drop him off every morning, and every morning he is excited to be there! Couldn't ask for a better doggie daycare!!

We were traveling from Atlanta to Amelia Island, with a stop to visit the Okefenokee Swamp Park. However, we had our doggies with us, and they're not allowed at the park. I did a little research in the area and found Lexie's. She had great reviews so I called to see if our boys could just come one day for us to visit the park. No problem! We stopped in with them, and their shot records, then came back when we were done. They were happy to see us, but not panicked to get out, so that's a win for our spoiled brats! Definitely recommend Lexie's if you need doggie day care. Thank you, Lexie!

We trust her with Marshall each time we go on a vacation. She is very dependable and loves the pets.

Best place in town for doggy day care

I recently boarded my Australian shepherd pup for several nights with Southern Pine. I was impressed with the set up, very safe and secure. Kevin Erdmier is a highly professional, knowledgeable, caring trainer and kennel operator. I wouldn’t trust any other business with my dog. Thank you Southern Pine!

Great folks, I had a late change of schedule and had to be out of town. They had accommodations for my two dogs, and we couldn't be more pleased with their services. I would definitely use them again for boarding my dogs. And, we love supporting veteran owned, local businesses. Southern Pines is one of the best.

Kevin and his family are awesome, made everything so easy and kept us up to date with progress that our fur baby was making. Outstanding company you can trust. We love Southern Pine Kennels and will highly recommend to everyone we know.

They trained my French bulldog in Obedience and helped me potty train him. The price was very fair, for the services. He was well taken care of and his vet check up came back all clear! The kennel was very clean and well Maintained, the guys are very friendly and have great personalitys, and you can even come and visit your pet. I would recommend southern pines kennels to anyone.

The Erdmier family is absolutely wonderful. Kevin worked with our 8 month old lab and the difference was amazing after her stay at Southern Pines. She was so much more focused and eager to make us proud that you could tell they spent a lot of time with our baby. Kevin has stayed in touch and really forms a bond with the pets he cares for. We needed to board Willow for the first time last month and Southern Pines was the only place we would consider. As soon as Willow saw Kevin, she rushed over to him and jumped right up in his truck. When we got her back, it was obvious she had her own mini vacation while we were gone. Kevin is absolutely amazing at what he does and Southern Pines is the only place we will ever take Willow.

I wouldn't recommend this trainer / service. I sent our 2 puppies up there, healthy and of good weight. Both came back with parasites, hookworms, and bleeding. I had both dogs at the vet less than a day after picking them up from the kennels. Vet immediately thought we had picked them up from the side of the road, as they were so malnourished, skinny, dehydrated and sick. I have tried to address this with Kevin, he asked what I though was reasonable, I asked for 1/2 our money back to assist in covering the vet bill and medicines, and because we paid him an extra $1000 to potty train the dogs, which they are not, on top of the training cost. Both dogs have, several times, used the bathroom inside the house even after we continued the instruction we were given, take them out 20 mins after feedings and every 1/5 - 2 hours through 9pm. We have had over $800 in vet bills and another $180 in medicine we have had to purchase to try and get the dogs healthy. I would strongly caution anyone sending their family pet up here. People were nice while we were there, however, haven't been so easiest to deal with as of now.

The Erdmier family are a hardworking, honest, and God loving family. They are dedicated to providing the best care and training ever! When you leave your pet in their care your pet becomes part of their family. I would highly recommend using Southern Pine Kennels for housing and training pets!!

This family owned business is outstanding. Kevin's expertise with the training and care of dogs is absolutely amazing. The facility for the dogs is pristine. Only the best for your four legged family member at this kennel!

My mother in law sent her crazy malti-poo to Kevin at Southern Pine Kennel for training. This hell spawn animal was biting guests in her home and could not be trusted around most people. He also would not listen to my mother in law and I swear he was on crack because he was so hyper! He goes off to Kevin for a month and returned a new dog. No biting, no growling at people, listening to commands and I am happy to say Kevin even got him to lay off the crack pipe! All kidding aside Kevin and his family are wonderful people who are nothing but caring, kind, patient, and honest. I would recommend them to everyone!

SPK trained our standard poodle puppy when she was 4 months old! She had trouble with an “excited” bladder, house training, and jumping on guests. She came back as the same happy pet we loved, but much better behaved AND house trained!

Today was our first time utilizing the services of Coffee Hounds, and I could not be more pleased. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and Callie did an amazing job grooming my shih-poo, who had not been groomed in some time. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Laurie is awesome! I'm never disappointed with her grooming my Maltese Brutus. He always comes home from his "puppy spa day" looking so handsome.

I have an Alaskan Malamute who is 9 years old. He came back from a grooming looking great. They washed and brushed out his coat.

This place is really great. I take my dog there for boarding whenever we go out of town and for doggy daycare a couple times a month. My dog always gets excited when she realizes we're driving her there and she always comes home happy, healthy, and--thankfully--tired. Melissa and the staff are very nice and accommodating and their services are affordable. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

It was months ago but I took my dog here once and he came out bitten and beaten. When they were asked what happened the story was all over the place. My dog has never had issues at the groomers, I've always had good reports. The facts are he went in fine and came out injured and they took no responsibility for it. The unclear story made me question this establishment's reputation. Reply to owner: You don't know who my dog is- I gave no information about him, YES it was your establishment. Why would I contact you, You were asked directly when my dog was picked up. Like i said it was months ago, I did not go back.

Piper loves going to Coffee Hounds and playing with her doggie friends! The staff is so great and she loves them!

I recently adopted a Best Friend and she was very matted. These guys did an AMAZING job on her!!! She looks and smells so much better!!! HIGHLY recommend them!!!

We made a reservation for our dog for daycare and a bath. The staff was so friendly and the facility is very clean. There were other dogs when we dropped ours off and they all seemed very content. We're from the Atlanta area so we won't be a regular customer unfortunately but I would absolutely take our dog back and I highly recommend Coffee Hounds. Our dog, Chipper, was welcomed with open arms. I wish we had a place like this at home.

The minute I met Walter, I knew he was the perfect caregiving for our golden. Quiet, polite, and kind ---- and I just wanted a safe environment and he delivered. Its not the kind of place where they simply put your dog out into a field with 20 or more other dogs every day ... its a perfect set up away from home with space inside and an opening for outside fresh air as well. Recommended by my Vet --- I'm lucky to have found this place. My golden was glad to be going home, but I could tell she was well cared for by Walter. Thank you sir!

Our dog was happy, clean, and obviously well taken care of. She is a Diva! Dalmatian, Lab, Hound mix. We boarded her for 8 days and we are so pleased with Dog House Inn and Suites.

Boarded my 2 beagles here. I am very picky about where my dogs stay. I can say the Dog House owners are so kind and Walter must have a great aura about him or be a dog whisperer! He genuinely made me calm and my dogs went straight into the place with no problem. They were well cared for and happy campers. I did request exit baths and picked up 2 clean and happy beagles. Will definitely use again and recommend to others! ❤️

Hershey and Zues love staying here. We have taken them for a stay twice. Walter is great to work with and they have a great place, clean and inviting. Prices are reasonable. Hershey got groomed during this stay and Walter did an awesome job. This is our dog vacation place and we highly recommend for you to try them.

We absolutely recommend The Dog House Boarding and Grooming!! We are visiting the area and last minute needed an overnight boarding and the owner was SO accommodating and SO nice to us and our puppy! She’s not used to being boarded so he did everything he could to make her more comfortable. Their facility is clean and neat. His pick up hours on weekends were also so helpful! Highly recommend! *Also, if you are in a RV and staying at Coastal RV Resort they are only 1.5 miles away.

Our dog Abby loves Walter at the dog house. She is so happy to be there. They give the best care we've ever had for our dog. Walter is great with her and truly cares about Abby. We never have to worry about her when we have to leave her behind. Also Walter is a great groomer for our dog and she has a lot of hair. The prices are reasonable for the great service you receive. Worth every penny.

Our dogs have found their second home for boarding! We have taken our GSDs, Fella and Felina, to the Dog House twice for boarding and have been more than satisfied with both visits. The dogs come back relaxed and happy. The prices are very reasonable. They accommodate our special requests. Other facilities may have all the 'bells and whistles", but the Dog House actually takes care of your pet - clean, friendly, and very caring. One of ours has medical issues and needs daily medications and ointments...when we pick them up, it is clear that the staff has continued the treatment as directed! We couldn't be more pleased.
