Vicky and Rob have been pet sitting for us for many years now and it's a great feeling going away on holiday knowing our fur babies will be well looked after. Martin was also wonderful walking our dog. Great service from people who really care about animals

We've had Vicky and Rob walk and look after our spaniels for over 11 years. They're wonderful and care so much about the dogs. Highly reliable and fully recommend. Our dogs love their walks and love Vicky and Rob too!

It's the third year we've had Martin looking after our 3 cats while we are away. It's been such a relief knowing they are in safe hands and well taken care of. He is very friendly and sends updates everytime he visits so we don't have to worry. It is so much better for out cats as well as they don't have to go through the trauma of being relocated while we are away and they always seem very happy in the pictures we are sent of them.

Pet Sitters have recently cared for our two cats for 7 days and the service was fantastic. Our cats are very young and this was the first time we had left them for such a long period. Martin who cared for our cats clearly understands how all animals have different personalities and really listened to our details of their different behaviours. I would highly recommend this service. Martin visited twice a day to check on our cats, feed them and provided some companionship.

My border collie Sam has been walking with Yate pet sitters for 2 years. He loves both his walkers and I go to work knowing he will have a great energetic hour. They have never let me down and I would highly recommend them.

Jane is fab with our pup Flo. They both adore each other. Jane has always been good at sending me texts and pictures keeping me updated. We trust Jane in our home and are happy to have her at our house.

We have a very energetic dog and couldn’t find a day care that was suitable for his needs until we found Happy Hounds. Our dog adores it and quite literally doesn’t want to come home when I pick him up. He is zonked for the rest of the day/day after from playing with his friends!

Ian, Sue and team are fantastic guardians of our happy hound! Ernie loves his time up on the hill and comes home content and suitably jaded after every trip. I would highly recommend Happy Hounds, not just for their professionalism in working with dogs but also their happy nature with us humans. 10/10!

Our very energetic pup loves her day at Happy Hounds every week! We were able to start off with half days while she was still relatively young and have then built up the time, which worked well. Happy Hounds is a great daycare setting for dogs. Sue and Sally look after my dog on a Monday each week, they are really great and good communication after each session with any potential issues or just feedback on a great day. The setting itself is ideal for the dogs, a lovely big bit of space and a cabin area for a bit of a lunchtime nap! Also great value for money, would highly recommend.

I've been using Happy Hounds for just over 6 months, my puppy lives attending and gets really excited as we arrive and races in. Sue and Sally have great relationships with all of the dogs in their care. I would highly recommend this dog daycare facility.

Our Cockapoo Hendo is always quite nervous with other dogs but Sue and Ian have been brilliant with him since he started at Happy Hounds around a year ago. He always comes home happy and exhausted! Would recommend 100%

Can't speak highly enough of the team and setup at Happy Hounds. We've been sending our Cavalier since he was <6 months old, and he absolutely loves his days there. The team have been very reassuring and communicative, which was appreciated as a couple of nervous, first-time dog owners. The dogs always look happy and seem to get to know each other well, and the staff genuinely care about each dog. We're pretty sure that Sue is Reece's third favourite person on Earth at this point...

Sue and Co. are such lovely people and take good care of my boy once a week for doggy day care. The facilities there are amazing and he always comes back knackered after a long day of playing. You can tell Sue and Co. love what they do. I can recommend this doggy day care enough.

As much as I’d like to say that this dog day care was good in all aspect I really can’t. I must say the ladies at the day care were very nice and polite, though the owner was a complete opposite. I personally had a poor experience with them, Ian’s communication is far from customer oriented. I found him being condescending, unreasonable and I always felt like I’m asking for a favour when actually I am the customer who pays for the service. Our pup has been getting used to day care slowly but I’ve had mixed communication from Ian vs the ladies at the daycare. I’ve always been told that Mika is happy and doing well, whereas Ian told me at the end of the year that she is always nervous and crying wanting to go home, bear in mind she’s been coming for several months and no one told me that? I just couldnt work out what was going on if they couldn’t make their mind up, with Ian’s message ‘ Have you not heard what I'm saying. This was Mikas best day and she's bonding well with several dogs…..’ this was after 16 times coming down (this was also after we had to collect her home the week before). Also who messages a customer in such a disrespectful way? There are a few examples of this, where Happy hounds are located there is a huge amount of standstill traffic any time after 4 pm if coming from Bath, so expect to Sit in standstill traffic for 20-30 mins. Once, I was in hospital in another country and my husband works 40 miles away from home, he asked to leave work early to be able to collect our pup on time, however got stuck in traffic being around 10-15 mins late, we notified Ian and got a rude and uncertain response saying ‘don’t know if can do it since people need to go home’, which I totally understand but surely these kinda thing you plan in the business timing contingency and I am not talking about hours late but making a huge fuss about 10 mins? Customer service skill needs improvement. Edit 1. Mika is a very brave dog my nature, the is friendly, playful and definitely does not have the nervousness or separation issues. She has finished several puppy training classes, she has stayed with friends, boarding, dog sitters for several days (10), with no issues. She is being walked twice a day and never shown any separation issues, which is why I was supervised to hear what Ian was saying. She now goes for group dog walks with 2 different people, who reported no such issues. All of the above indicates towards one thing: Ian needs to consider the conditions of where the dogs are and how those can be made comfortable.

Rich has been looking after our 2 cats when we have been away over the last couple of years. We are really glad we found him and know our cats are good hands when we are not there. Rich is super friendly and keeps us updated which keeps our minds at ease. Our cats are very nervous rescue cats and have formed a good bond with Rich over time, which we really value. We also occasionally foster cats and Rich has always been happy to help look after them as well.

We've been using Rich for years for our cats and the service is always fantastic - on several occasions he was happy to cover visits at extremely short notice and he's always been available when we needed him. Very reasonable prices, keeps everything tidied up and cleans bowels (we've had messy professional pet sitters before so I'm grateful Rich always left our home spotless). Rich is a lovely guy who is always happy to give us updates when we're away for a while. He also keeps really detailed records of the pets he cares for. So glad we found him!

Rich and the team are simply amazing. Rich has been looking after our cat Ronnie for nearly 3 years now. Our cat is very shy and only usually makes an appearance for us, and now Rich is his best friend! I simply would not trust anyone else to look after him. Forever grateful!

We've been using the cat sitter services for the last couple of years and have found Rich to be very friendly and reliable. He provides us with updates on the cats when we're away, which is reassuring and shows that he cares about their welfare. Amazing company, very trustworthy. Rich has been taking care of our cats for years now.even when it was at a very short notice never declined. He has kept us up to date with messages and photos as well and when one of our cats needed medication he also took care of it. Wholeheartedly recommended.

We asked Rich to check in on our cats and chickens whilst we were away for a few nights getting married. I was bery anxious about leaving them as normally a friend or family member will look after them while were away, however all that worry left as soon as we met Rich. He's an absolute gem, he came round and met everyone prior to us finalising the booking so we could ensure we were comfortable with him. He took the time to learn all of our pets names and was very thorough with ensuring they were all cared for how we wanted. Rich was really professional, understanding our chickens are a part of our family just as much as our cats. His communication is absolutely fab, and he called to check in on the first night and kept in good contact throughout. I couldnt recommend the service more. I felt incredibly relaxed knowing that Rich was looking after our little pet family while we were away. We will most definitely be using Rich for future trips.

Rich looks after the animals at our nursery every weekend. He is so friendly and passionate about what he does. The role he does for us is a bit different as he cares for pigs, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs but he is great at it and we trust him 100%. Can't recommend him enough :)

Rich has been looking after our cat for years whenever we have been away from home and provides a brilliant reliable service. I've always appreciated the fact that he keeps me informed and has always been flexible if needed at short notice.

We've used Rich & co a couple of times to visit our cats, one of whom needs regular meds. No problems to report whatsover. His fact finding and preparation is very thorough and it was nice to get a progress update on day 1 to confirm everything was ok.

I have used Rich several times to look after my Cat and Rabbit while I’ve been away. He has been great everytime. He came and met them and wrote their routines down. He visited twice a day and catered for their every need. He sent me updates and reassures me they were ok. Couldn’t ever use anyone else.

My 4yr Ruby was new to doggy day care & we chose Tania because of her professionalism & obvious love for the dogs in her care. Ruby absolutely LOVES it, she can't wait get in & see Tania & to play with all the other dogs. We were very lucky to find Willsbridge Walkies & look forward every week to receiving photos of their adventures. 10/10 from us 🐾

Tania has looked after my dog since a young puppy. I really feel that she loves my dog just like I do. I can't recommend her highly enough. We are first time dog owners and Skye has thrived through attending doggy day care weekly. The care and attention she gets is fantastic and I love the regular updates seeing her having fun with the other dogs. Holidays have always been important to us and was nervous leaving Skye overnight. I had no need to worry, the luxury boarding service is amazing, tailored to our needs for Skye providing us with reassurance that Skye is happy and well looked after whilst we are away. I cannot recommend Willsbridge Walkies enough for the brilliant service and care provided for the dogs.

Willsbridge Walkies has been fantastic for us in the bringing up of our pup. At first we thought the doggy day care was for us to have a day off each week. However, we have come to realise that Mabel has thrived and is so well socialised now with other dogs. She is always so excited when we pull up on the drive and is always welcomed in with such love. It is a lovely location and they have a great setup there. The regular photos sent throughout the day are brilliant and we especially like the team photo of all the dogs together that are there each day. Tania and her family are fabulous dog sitters. They are totally trustworthy, care for the dogs like they are their own and go out of their way to help. I have used this place a few times now and find them to be excellent. I do not think I would ever leave my dog anywhere else. The staff are great with the the dogs thy take in and while away they send daily pupdates to give you peace of mind. All staff seem to be passionate about the animals in there care and they are given plenty of mental and physical stimulation during there stay. More expensive than kennels without a doubt, but I would sooner pay more and know my special dog is in great hands in her own room in a comfy bed.

Bath Country Pets is a wonderful retreat for your dog with the most brilliant staff who I can not recommend enough to care for your dog. Our Cockapoo Chester suffers from anxiety issues and takes time to get to know people. We have been taking him to BCP since the end of the Covid Lockdowns. It has not been an easy journey with Chester and initially he took time to get used to the surroundings and staff. However thanks to the patience of the wonderful BCP Team who gave Chester the time and space to adapt and get to know them the transformation and turnaround to where we are now when Chester visits is remarkable!! Chester now loves his visits including his solo countryside walk , enrichment and groom with all of the team particularly Lulah who has taken the time to get to know and bond with Chester. So Bath Country Pets is a must for day care or an overnight stay.

We have used Bath Country Pets many times for our dogs. I can not recommend this company and their team members enough. They are the best. Reassurance is key when you leave your dog behind it can be a worry but not with this company. The daily emails with pictures are brilliant. The people are lovely and the set up is outstanding. Henry has stayed at the hotel several times now and it’s the happiest both he and we have been during his time away from us. I love the structure they provide from the early morning routine to the morning walks, snuggly afternoons with the log fire in the winter and structured enrichment play. Dedicated staff who clearly have the dogs best interest at heart and always have a cuddle for those that are missing home. The daily pupdates by email are a very special touch which comes with a photograph so that whilst you’re away you can feel safe in the knowledge that your little furball is well cared for. I would 100% recommend Bath Country Pets every time.

We have been dog owners for over 20 years & always had uk holidays so we could take our dogs with us as we vowed never to use kennels .we had several events which meant we had to find somewhere for the dogs to stay . BCP saved the day this is definitely NOT a kennel it is a purpose built home just for dogs with spacious separate bedrooms filled with comfy beds , a lounge area with plenty of sofas , a log burner & plenty of secure outdoor areas for play ( also taken for walks with no more than two dogs per walker ) the main factor in choosing BCP is the dogs are “free range “ from 7.00am until 10.00 pm . The wonderful team treat each dog as if their own with plenty of attention & cuddles . We have used BCP for the last five years for occasional day care & staycations ,it means we can enjoy our holiday knowing that our dog is having his own holiday , as soon as we arrive Fergus does his happy dance in the car & is gone straight to meet his new friends , we are sure Fergus has post holiday blues like us !

Quite possibly the best place I have ever visited with my Teddy! Once we heard about Bath Country Pets, we couldn't resist attending the opening. WOW WOW and WOW. The owners have put so much love and attention into the dog hotel that I was just in complete ore of what they have created. It is absolutely stunning. We have now booked for our Teddy to stay and to date I have never left him with anyone but family and friends - so that shows to me how much I loved the environment in which he will be staying. On site and subsequently online I have been ordering from Bath Country Pets. Teddy is now fully ready for winter with his jumper scarf and loves his new elephant. We have also ordered a new bed, and we are waiting for it to arrive. They are all luxury and I will never have any money as I all want to do is buy more and more :) This new and very small business deserve the very best of luck, it really is wonderful and I can't wait until Ted goes to stay.

A real home from home with sofas in a communal lounge. We know that Peggy enjoys her stays as she's always excited when she arrives and can't wait to get in and say hello to everyone. That's important for me as she's a shy and slightly nervous dog. Certainly not cheap but I can see she's well cared for and happy which means I have peace of mind and I don't have to worry when we're away.

We couldn't be happier with the care our dog receives at Bath Country Pets. It's the only place he has happily stayed without us! The staff are amazing and the communication is second to none. We never have any need to worry about him while he's there 😊 …

Paula and her team have been walking our dog and providing visits to our cat when we go away for over 5 years now. They really are the best around. They have taken the time to get to know our dog, understanding her body language, matching her with other dogs perfectly for walks. They are reliable and communicate regularly. Retro & Friends is the only place we'll take our old Jack Russell. We have used them for 5 years and I'm sure our dog prefers being there than at our house! It's a home away from home. Paula is trustworthy, hard-working and well-liked, which shows in how busy they are and their waiting lists. Other dog walking/boarding businesses come and go as people think it's an easy job. Retro & Friends will outlast them all for their professionalism, safety and kindness. They have a waiting list for a reason, so don't settle for a chancer who has lots of availability - there is a reason for that too!

Really grateful to Paula for being incredibly flexible and friendly, offering pet visits for my two dogs at late notice during a difficult time. My dogs love her and my younger dog is a big Retro fan! Highly recommend for your dog sitting / dog walker needs in Chipping Sodbury area.

We've just had a great experience here. My first time using kennels and I was incredibly nervous about leaving my very anxious dog in kennels for the first time. The whole experience was great! I went for a look around first and the staff were really lovely and reassuring. I like that they have small opening hours so the dogs aren't too stressed with visitors as some kennels I've visited previously don't have these boundaries in place and the dogs seem to bark constantly. When I came to drop Kezia off I felt like the staff really listened to me and I mentioned about not walking her if she was too stressed which they took on board. I felt like they wanted to do what was best for her and when I came to collect her they had managed to take her out that morning for the first time which showed to me that she had relaxed a little (more than I was expecting!). She seems happy and content now we are home and I can tell that it hasn't had a detrimental affect on her behaviour which I was also concerned about. Also it's the nicest environment I've visited kennels wise, cute signage and nicer looking kennels. Really happy with the lovely caring staff and environment. Such a relief to know we have somewhere safe and responsible to take her when needed. Thank you Cottage Kennels Team!

My staffy, Harley and PugX, Yaddle, seem to have had a positive experience. We were let down last minute by our regular dog sitter and I called to discuss my dogs and their needs before booking. They were very positive and helpful on the phone, understanding that my dogs have never been left with anyone they don’t know and due to their histories (both are rescues) can be nervous around other dogs. My husband and I both work from home so they’re never alone! We dropped them off and I was so anxious about leaving them but the place was clean and the staff were nice. I collected them today and they were calm and happy. I’m so grateful for their last minute saving the day and will definitely use them again.

Mike and the team at The Cottage were wonderful with our 10 month old, energetic, golden retriever puppy. From accommodating us as really short notice and then looking after Raffy for another 24 hours when our journey home was complicated, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Raffy was clearly loved and well looked after, and we’ve come home with a happy and more chilled out puppy! Highly recommend. A big thank you to all the team.

We left our then one-year-old spaniel with them three times last year. It's an anxious time when you first leave your dog at a kennels, but we need not have worried. The staff are lovely and thoughtful, and we returned each time to find our energetic youngster happy, healthy and contented. She definitely wants to go back this year.

The staff at Cottage Kennels are wonderful! Our elderly Dachshund always seems very happy when he comes home, and the staff genuinely take really good care of him. Our cat also goes to the cattery. I won't pretend that he likes being inside all day, but he never seems stressed as a result, and staff are aware that he is an escape artist! The kennels are very careful with our dog's medication, and feeding. I would recommend Cottage Kennels to other pet owners.

Don't use this kennel, they are more about money than looking after you pet and yhere welfare, my dog is nervous, so we took him out to meet them, only one Assistant cam out and spent less than 5 minutes with him when I voiced my concerns regarding his last stay instead of arranging to have a proper meet again with accused him of being aggressive, which he is not and has never been whilst in their care I was told to go somewhere else. If I could give no stars then I would.

My boy has been going here since he was a young pup! He’s now 2 and he’s adored by the team, it’s nice to see him bonding with them so well! He always leaves happy and looking great! They see past his breed (American bully XL) and see him as the gentle giant that he is, he gets plenty of loving and they truly do care about animals! I highly recommend cottage kennels and cattery, I know he’s in safe hands whilst I’m away and it’s so reassuring to know my furr baby is well looked after so I return to a happy boyo! Absolutely cracking team/family and it’s very clear to see they don’t do this just because it’s a job… they certainly have passion in what they do x

Was really expecting something great based on the reviews. I visited ahead of my boy staying with them, BUT I was very disappointed with the size, tiny spaces..and learnt that the dogs are not walked/exercised/no play/! Taken for 2 short walks around the pen (small pen) on the lead to toilet - nothing more. The lady's response was "they jump around in the pens all day and tire themselves out, so need for walks"...I cancelled my boys booking immediately afterwards. There was one small dog jumping up and down none stop at the fence in his pen and the lady said "oh he is here is here for 3 weeks and he jumps up like that all day long" :( All I could think of was caged animals walking in circles all day long..poor things. Music also playing very loudly..how is this OK? Staff were nice, friendly, and the place looked clean - but not a place I'd feel at all comfortable leaving my boy. They need exercise - play - space!!!

Just picked my 2 dogs up from a 5 day stay, was very anxious on leaving them as they normally stay with a friend. My boy didn't want to come home he followed the man back in, my girl was loving her cuddles. They stayed intouch through out there stay via email this made me feel more at ease. So glad I listed to my mums friend Dave who recommend this place. Will 100% use again along as they will have my crazy 2 again. Thank you for looking after my fur babies.

From the first time I dropped Eddy off I knew he’d be fine, all the staff are so friendly, obviously passionate about dogs and really do treat them like their own. I no longer have to worry when I leave him which is something I have struggled with when using previous kennels. Highly recommend!

I can only put my dogs here they are absolutely amazing with them they get their needs right, very caring and dog lovers which is an absolute bonus for kennels take time with your dogs and know your dogs have been coming here for nearly 7 years with our two dogs- Misty and teddy and wouldn’t go anywhere else! They have been taken over recently and the two guys that run it now and their staff are literally the best as soon as we turn up they know what to do with our dogs and they go happily with them! Misty is very nervous and anxious dog she is so settled here and never loses weight now :)

I can't but rate these guys. They really really care for your dog, they take time to listen to you, respond to emails quickly and honestly if you contact them, they actually will sit and play with your dog, give them time and affection. I have an extremely nervous little dog and he doesn't like being in kennels but I trust these guys so much with him because they genuinely care for him and his welfare, I wouldn't use anyone else. Efficient and cost effective. Good value for money, and the animals are well cared for. Communication is usually quick, and they always respond to booking requests. The website is useful and informative. The facilities are well structured and easy to access.

I would highly recommend this Kennels. Having not used this place before I was a little apprehensive as I had booked Roxi in for 16 nights. When I arrived my first impressions of the grounds were great but its what's behind the scenes that matters. I was half expecting the staff to reject my request to take a look at where Roxi would be staying but Nath who did the check in was very understanding and let me walk Roxi into her Kennels and take a look around. As my request may have been unexpected for them they would have had no time to prepare for a customer visit but this didn't matter as the dogs in the other Kennels looked content and very clean. What I liked was how Nath wasn't like other dog handlers where they try to tell you how to raise your dog. He was happy for me to leave her toys, treats and dentisticks which other kennels ive used havent. Nath explained the dogs are exercised twice a day on their own in a separate enclosure and was understanding of my worries around Roxi overdoing it seeing as she has elbow dysplasia. He said he would closely monitor her excersise time and reduce where necessary. I called about half way through Roxis stay and Nath was happy to give me an update and clearly knew which dog I was asking about. The bond he had with Roxi was clear as I observed from picking her up when she was wagging her tail when walking out with her and before she had seen me. The price per night was more than reasonable too. I would definitely use them again. If I had to make one criticism it would be that they are cash or cheque only which is old school. They make it very clear on their website and in the office but I prefer a card payment when using services. Thanks to Nath for looking after Roxi

My dog stayed in kennels for about a week. She has been well looked after by the staff at Barormar and will certainly use them again in the future.

My puppy went into these kennels when I got married, they did such a good job of looking after our princess, I even called on my wedding day to check on her and they totally made me feel at ease

Alex and Kama have been fantastic, looking after my dog on several occasions. He's a fairly nervous dog, with his own quirks, but they seem to have the magic touch! Alex and Kama have been so welcoming and have totally put my mind at ease from first meeting them - I hadn't used a dog boarder before but I felt so relaxed leaving my dog with them. They send great updates which made me feel really comfortable when I was away, and despite his nervous tendencies he settled so well with them. Thank you for your excellent care!

Misty has been a regular client of the Country Mutt for about 7 years now. Going to doggy daycare has been a valued part of her routine and ours. The staff at the Country Mutt are always friendly and provide updates on a regular basis. The team build such a lovely bond with the dogs and we know our dog is well looked after when in their care. We would recommend the Country Mutt to anyone, providing vital social skills to our then playful Labrador and peace of mind that she is being well looked after whilst we are at work. You won’t regret leaving your dog with this fantastic group of people ♥️

Our two absolutely love their time at Country Mutt - and they clearly love the staff too judging by their excitement to see them when they are picked up in the morning! (great additional service that saves us time and travel) - we get WhatsApp updates and photos, the dogs are treated really well, get lots of variety in activities in the day, aren’t over exercised, and sometimes our extra fluffy dog gets extra pampering! Definitely recommended!

Couldn't be happier with the service from Country Mutt! From my perspective the initial look round, booking system, communications and collection and drop off service are simple and easy. From Bingham's perspective he has the best time, is given enrichment, can run with his friends and has a chance to play with dogs in a safe environment. Highly recommended!!

My Sprocker, Nala, has been going to what we call "Doggy Play school" since earlier in 2024. The pick up and return service is very useful to us, and on Wednesdays I put her harness on and she then knows the collection van will be along soon. She hears it well before it arrives to collect her. When she arrives back she is tired out and will have been given a sploosh to clean her up. Seeing the photos that the team send via WhatsApp Nala is clearly enjoying it very much. Country Mutts have a really friendly team, who clearly love being with dogs, and the dogs reciprocate that love. We are glad that we have found Country Mutts as it benefits both ourselves and Nala too.Our grandsons Visla also goes to Country Mutts. so the two get on famously. We would wholeheartedly recommend Country Mutts to anyone if asked.

Barney has been going to daycare here for 4y. It really helped with socialising him with lots of different dogs, and different people. He is away for a full day and comes back exhausted. The cost does add up over a month, but I feel much happier being away for the day knowing that he is not on his own for most of it.

Our Golden Retrievers have both been going to The Country Mutt since they were puppies. It’s been great for their socialisation skills and they get so much enjoyment running around all day long, coming home exhausted but so content after each visit. Millie has built up a great team around her at daycare and I trust they have my boys best interests at heart, wanting to see them thrive. The team give us regular updates and make sure to send pictures if they’ve done anything particularly funny or crazy that day. We wouldn’t trust our boys to be left anywhere else. I would just like to say our dog Monty loves his days at Country Mutt Dog Day Care. I cannot recommend enough the staff are like family and look after all the dogs like they are their own. From the time they pick up Monty in the morning until they drop him off the care is 5 Star. Monty knows the days he goes and waits at the window until they arrive. Buddy absolutely loves his time at daycare and has been going for several years now. Feel 100% confident with all of the staff who are extremely helpful and accommodating and go out of their way to make the dogs feel comfortable. Buddy is so excited when the van pulls up!

My dog has been going to The Country Mutt Dog Care for the last 3 years. He absolutely loves it. Emily who works there is like his second Mum!! He never looks back when he is collected from our house and comes back tired out from a full on day of fun!!!
