Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

This was our first house/pet sit with @zeewoi and we were extremely pleased! Robert showed up when he said he would, he accommodated our timelines and our dog's scheduled routine. He left our home in excellent shape and we had a very happy, relaxed pup to come home to. It was important to us that Robert meet us via video chat or in person before we left and he went above and beyond. He sent photos of our dog, Cooper, and him throughout the sit and we could tell that Cooper was very happy with Robert. He responded immediately to our texts, giving him updates about our return. Communication is so important for making sure both the sitter and the house owners are confident in one another. Robert is very outgoing and friendly and we have 100% confidence in him to look after our home and our dog when we are away. We look forward to Robert providing another future home sit.
Maryna was an excellent pet sitter and houseguest! Communicating with her was easy, and she always responded to my messages quickly. She was also incredibly self-sufficient! Moreover, Maryna graciously agreed to check on my neighbor's cat for a couple of days as well. My dog bonded with her quickly and was happy and healthy when I returned. The house was also spotless. I would happily have Maryna sit for me again!
Jerry gets a five star in every area! We actually connected on the phone before he ever arrived but once he got here, it was like we known each other forever! He was very thorough and how he was going to take care of the dogs and the house!! very friendly with the dogs, and they immediately connected with him!! dogs know when they are💖💖 he arrived early so he could become familiar with Circus and tinker and the house and we had a meal together and quickly became best friends! He sent pictures while we were away and updates. Every day. He was gone by the time we came back, but it honestly looked like he had never been in the house. Everything was perfect just like we left it.❗️❗️❗️ so if you’re looking for a Pet Sitter that is reliable in every way, and you know for sure is going to take good care of your pets this man is the one you want to have come to your home❗️❗️ you won’t be disappointed and I can promise you that💖🎉
Cindy is an absolutely fantastic sitter and we feel very lucky to have had her care for our dog and our home whilst we went on our family holiday. Her communication before and throughout our sit was fantastic, and she even took our dog to the vet when he needed an unexpected checkup. She took great care of him and sent daily updates including videos and photos of their time together. We could tell that he felt very relaxed in her company. Thank you so much Cindy - it is a real godsend to have someone so kind and caring to take care of your pets and home and we would be delighted to have Cindy back again in future.
Alexandria was by far our best sitter yet (and we've had excellent zeewoi sitters)! She was responsible, self sufficient and very responsive. She took the time to come meet our dog ahead of time and to run through the routine before our trip. She was communicative and sent great pics of her adventures with Rupee while we were away. She was extremely clean and followed our household routine. And to top it al off, she left us with a homemade vegetable soup for our jet lagged return home from Europe! Alexandria is a wonderful, kind and caring person that I am grateful to have met. I cannot thank you enough Alexandria!
Brian is awesome - he is simply the best pet sitter and house sitter that we have EVER had and we've had a bunch. He is experienced, thoughtful, respectful, loving, appreciative, helpful, enthusiastic...the list just goes on. Started with our initial call - it was our first sit with zeewoi and he immediately instilled confidence in us in how he talked about his experience and how he saw his role. In the pre-planning, he had great questions for us and helped us to get organized. He was thorough through the instructions, came in a day early to make sure he understood everything about our house and our dog and then followed through on everything. He even drove us to the airport and picked us up on the return. Along the way we were gone, he sent us pictures and kept us updated - always making us feel good about being away and knowing Jorge and the house were in great hands. We had workers coming to fix a fence while gone and some other activity at the house - he was helpful, available, and willing to do whatever was needed to be done. He was self-sufficient and when it came time to leave, he had everything organized and cleaned at the house - he left it in better condition than he received it. We would love to have Brian sit whenever we are away (and in fact will invite him and hope he says yes!) - any one would be lucky to have Brian as their house and pet sitter.
Care and compassion for my dogs was at the top of the list of John's attributes. He was the first sitter I have used through zeewoi that was close enough to come meet the dogs before the sit. John not only came for an initial meet and greet, but he made time to meet the pups a second time prior to my departure to better familiarize himself with both the dogs and my home. Having put the fear of God in him about Penny's reactivity (I might have been a bit over the top, but better more attentive than less!), he was cautious with her in the beginning. Later in the sit, they trooped off to the beach on multiple occasions - all good! My 10-yr-old was on some meds for a serious battle with arthritis, and John managed Cooper's needs beautifully. John even made a call and a trip to the vet to re-up Coop's prescription when it was clear he needed to continue the protocol. I received daily updates by text, including photos and video; communication is hugely important to me. I feel blessed to have had John care for my fur-babies.
They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.
First things first, Linda is awesome! If she applies for one of your sits, you have to accept! This was our first time using zeewoi and is also the first time we have left our dog since we got him. Obviously, we were nervous at the beginning, but Linda removed all aspects of that. She is honestly one of the nicest, kindest, most polite people you will meet. From our first initial meeting, we knew that she was the sitter for us, and for Archie. The day that we left, Archie let out a little cry as we said goodbye. This was the first time he had done this (it broke our heart), but we knew he was in great hands! Throughout the week, Linda was extremely communicative. She would send us daily updates, share videos of their walks together, and send pictures of the two of them having fun. She spoiled Archie with love, attention, and a couple of new toys! When we returned, the house was in the exact same condition as we had left it, and was very clean and tidy. When Linda left, Archie ran to the door, started to cry, and sat/laid there for some time - And we think that this alone is a great reflection of the kind of person that Linda is. Linda – It was an absolute pleasure to host you in our home, thank you for everything that you did for us and Archie, and for making our first experience a positive and memorable one. Archie misses you! We hope you get the chance to do it again for us in the future.
Stephanie, Brian and baby Martin took fabulous care of our home and pets for two weeks. From the outset, communication was quick, smooth and friendly and it was clear that both Stephanie and Brian are reliable, professional and warm sitters who take all the various elements of a sit seriously. They kept us up to date with photos and messages, dealt proactively and competently with any unexpected issues that popped up, and most importantly showered our dogs and gerbils with attention and care throughout the time we were away. We returned to a spotlessly clean home (with thoughtful touches of fresh milk, bacon and bread waiting for us) and happy, settled pets. In short, we would recommend Stephanie and Brian to anyone looking for reliable, attentive and proactive sitters for their pets and home. We would be delighted to welcome them back for another sit, should they ever find themselves in the area again.

We used Linn to watch our two cats while we away, and she did an amazing job. It was so nice to get to have them stay at home versus being separated for boarding. She administered medicine for one of our cats, tended to the litter box, made sure they got water/food, and played with them! Tremendous value for the price. She even got our mail for us. Would highly recommend!
The business owner is wonderful with pets. If you need to travel away from your feline fur babies for a short time, you can safely leave them in their comfortable home environment and Linn will come visit and feed them so they don't have to stay in a kennel. This service is super valuable to us.
This is the best place for day care and boarding! Linn is flexible to changing schedules, and quick to respond. She monitors the group closely, and makes sure all the dogs get along. Her yard is great for the dogs to run around, and the indoor space is great to keep them dry in the winter. I really like that when our dog boards here, that he is not in a kennel, and treated like family. Couldn't ask for a better place to send our dog to!
Linn is amazing!! She was a life saver! My husband and I have to travel a lot for work, and a lot of the travel is last minute. We gave Linn a set of our house keys, and we were able to call at the last minute and ask her to cat sit for us. When I travelled, I never worried about my little cats, I knew they were in good hands. I like Linn because she is a professional, she is licensed, and knows pet CPR! My cats are very shy, and don't always like strangers, but they loved Linn! I really felt that Linn genuinely cared for my cats. It was also nice to get pictures of my cats while I was on the road. I only wish that we still lived in Tacoma! **UPDATED: My husband and I had to travel for 3 weeks in a row. We didn't know what we should do with our cats. We don't live in Tacoma any more, and we didn't want to try a new cat sitter for that long. So Linn offered to board our cats! I can enjoy my vacation knowing that my cats are being looked after and cared for at Linn's place!
Linn is amazing with our dogs and has been extremely welcoming every time. She's also very accommodating with our needs. We moved further away but will continue to use her.
We take our two germans shepherds to Personal Pet Concierge and have loved them. We love that we get several updates from Linn several times while we are away, and we know that our dogs are being cared for throughout the day, not just left alone in a crate. We love that the dogs are not being kenneled and are in a home environment and aren't surrounded by a large number of other animals during their stay. Carter P.
We have taken our Mini Aussie Roo to stay with Pet Concierge a couple of times and she LOVES it. Lynn takes great care of her for a reasonable price as well. I appreciate that she sends updates with pictures of how Roo was doing while we were out of town which helped us relax knowing she was in great care. Roo always has a comfortable stay with dog beds, room to run and enjoys playing with the other animals that are staying with Lynn. Lynn even went the extra mile and bought us another bag of dog food when we ran out on the last day. Saved us a trip to the store on the way home when we picked up Roo. Highly recommend them for pet sitting.
Personal & Pet Concierge takes awesome care of my kitties. Even my shy - special needs kitty gets the care she needs. I get regular updates and I have peace of mind while I travel for work or fun. Linn and her team take awesome care of my fur babies! Thank you Linn and team!!
I love Personal and Pet Concierge. Linn and her team make traveling for work easy and stress free. I never worry about my cat anymore because I know he's in really good hands. While their services are 100% great, I want to highlight a couple areas in which I think P&PC excel. The first is communication. This is an important area for me (I'm a writing teacher) and I find that many petsitting agencies and individuals struggle to maintain adequate communication before an after my travels. P&PC have been wonderful communicators. They reply quickly to my efforts to schedule care for my pet. They send me updates (including images) while I'm away. And they are always clear about billing, visit schedules, etc. I couldn't ask for more. The second area is care. In the past, when I would return from a long trip my cat would be all out of sorts from a lack of TLC. Since I've been working with P&PC, he seems to barely notice that I've been away. This is because they visit him often and they treat him like he matters (like he's their own pet). It's not just about keeping food in his bowl. In sum, I can't recommend these folks any higher. I don't think you'll find better pet care in the area.
AMAZING! Our rescue Border Collie, Quinn, had always been a little apprehensive around other dogs, especially males. He spent a week with Linn & Mark and their bevy of guests. Quinn had the time of his life! He was exhausted and content when he got home. It has now been several months since his stay, and we continue to see the positive after-effects of his visit. He remains confident and more social. As a matter of fact, we had a true test shopping at the hardware store yesterday. Quinn was relaxed and social with a male dog, even sharing a treat! Thanks, Linn & Mark! Quinn loves you guys, too!
I visited this facility to use their self service bathing station and I was extremely disappointed. Not only did the entire building smell like urine, but there was watered down shampoo to use (no selection of products as advertised) and the bathtubs were not easy access for older arthritic dogs. The front of the building also does not have a handicap or wheelchair accessible entrance, which made it very difficult for my dog to enter the building. We came towards the end of January and all of the holiday decorations were still up and the sign advertising the facility was broken and hanging by one chain. I told the front desk associate how disappointed I was and I still had to pay even though I received the equivalent of a water hose to use and about a dime’s worth of shampoo for my dog. Do not waste your money and do not subject your animals to this run down incompetent facility.
Our small dog was killed by a Husky while staying at this pet lodge. No supervision while the dogs are in the play yard. Only one person managing 15 dogs. Neglectfully ran business. Very rude owner. I only wish I had read the reviews from Yelp...My dog could still be alive today! They should not be in business!!!
I only stopped in to use the self bath service and have not used the daycare/boarding services offered here so I cannot comment on those. However, the self baths were fairly nice, had good water pressure, but the nozzles for spraying my dog weren't too harsh which was nice. They have multiple shampoo options with good scents and all at an affordable price. I will return for the bath service again in the future as it is close to where I'm living.
It may be an old building, but the gal at the Gig Harbor location was amazing. Friendly and attentive. My Carolina dog had a blast, but my Frenchie did not. Samantha was honest about his stay and we do not blame the Lodge for anything. French Bulldogs can be high maintenance. They had snow-cones and a party over the 4th of July. I feel like they truly cared for my pets.
Stopped in for a self-serve dog wash, and they were great! Supplied everything I needed and then some. Will definitely be back
I have only had animals groomed here. And it has always been fantastic and affordable. I inherited a dog that was covered in matted fur and generally in poor shape. They took on the challenge, were sympathetic and gentle. He looked like a brand new dog, even after throwing their schedule out of whack because of the time he required. Wonderful place.
We adopted a dog several years ago through Peninsula Pet Lodge. We had to have him euthanized recently due to poor health. Dr. Wempe brought him to PPL for cremation, and I am blown away. They did such a phenomenal and respectful job of remembering our Andy. Words can not describe the deep appreciation we have for both Dr. Wempe and Peninsula Pet Lodge. Thank you, from the Laxson Family.
11/4/2017 Our two dogs are really spoiled by us and only twice have been away from our home when we had to leave and had no one to care for them. My 15 year old Italian greyhound spends the entire day with me from sleeping with us at night , sitting by my feet when I am on the computer and the rest of the time in my Studio with me - usually guarding the heater when it is cold. My wife has a "princess" dog that believes the world revolves around her! She is so cute she rules the house and pretty much spends the day at someones feet, sleeping in bed with us or on a lap. They are both pretty much intimidated by other dogs and chose to stay in their "room" at the lodge all day every day we were gone. The staff must have spent a lot of time with them as the bag of "US grown chicken treats" was well over half gone when I went to pick up the pampered duo. I was taking out their "stuff" and when i came back the young lady responsible for the "Lodge" was holding both them waiting for me. Now, they were really excited to see me but did not appear to be at all upset. They did wine a bit out of joy on the ride home and were excited to get back into the house for sure. After 4 days without us, it took less than 3 hours for both to get "back" to their normal routines and you would never know they had been away from how they are acting. We were really concerned about leaving these two in a kennel but from what we have observed they got wonderful care and were unstressed by their time away from us! We give Peninsula Pet Lodge 5 stars!
Stopped in to see about boarding my dog while out of town . Almost threw up it smelled so bad. While touring the place . Bathing area for the dogs looked like something out of a horror movie. I couldn't imagine putting my dog in a place like this. Almost unbelievable they have clients. Should be shut down if your pet goes in healthy i would bet it doesnt walk out that way
I love this place for doggie day care or for overnight stays! Lucy is a tiny dog, and she goes to the tiny area where at night, each dog has a tiny bed, and a tiny bedspread with pillow. It is so cute! Plenty of room for about 3 dogs on the bed, about 3 foot long beds. They are loved and played with. Each dog gets special attention. I highly recommend this to everyone in Gig Harbor. Convenient to get to before crossing the bridge and heading out of town,
We absolutely love Emily’s Wood Pack for our two dogs. Our dogs needed some socializing after the pandemic and they were nervous, but they made sure to communicate what days had calmer dogs, and always update with pictures. I would say they are even more affordable with boarding than other locations in the area considering how much love, attention, and space they are given. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. You can tell all the employees love the pets. Honestly amazing!
We are so happy with the care our puppy gets at Emily’s Woof Pack! It’s affordable, high-quality dog care that our pup absolutely loves. He always comes home happily exhausted after his visits, and now he even cries with excitement whenever we drive by the Walgreens nearby. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly, and I love how dog-centric the check-in and check-out process is—it makes everything easy and stress-free. Plus, the location is super convenient for anyone near JBLM, Lakewood, or Steilacoom. Highly recommend Emily’s Woof Pack for your furry family members!
Emily has always been professional, prompt and friendly. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and supportive of her pet sitting community, providing resources and referrals if she isn’t available or the right fit for your pet. She gives her heart to each dog in her care and will love them like her own while they’re in her home. She is the ONLY person we trust to care for our cats, in our home, when we travel. She sends video updates and pictures so you know your babies are happy. Bring your dogs to Emily, you won’t regret it! Oct 2021: Editing to add that we now have a very shy doodle boy who was exceptionally well cared for during his daycare visit. Emily went above and beyond answering all of my nervous dog mom questions before booking. Upon arrival, Alex and Sierra were patient with Sunny while he got accustomed and they sent several photo pupdates throughout the day. Best of all, Sunny is less nervous with new dogs and people after his ONE day running with the pack. Seriously, bring your dog to Emily’s Woof Pack.
Our Doggo loves her time at Emily’s! She made it super easy to find a day that we could come out and do a trial for a new daycare. Our dog had a great time! And Emily sent us an update on her first day to let us know she’s doing ok. Love that they have outdoor space for the doggos. Will definitely be back!
Emily has been amazing with our fur baby, Diesel. She has sat for him dozens of times over the last few years and he always comes home happy. She is great with text updates when we are out of town. We trust her with the most important thing in our lives. I cannot say enough about how much she cares about dogs and their well being. She is the best!!! Diesel loves his aunt Emily! Thanks so much...
Emily Wolf Pack has been the best decision we ever made for our dog. Our dog went to day care once a week for a few months and he was the happiest. He was always excited they day he was picked up and came home happy and tired. We never had any trouble with the team working there or with our dog while he was taken care. They are very attentive, Professional, flexible and have great communication. I will for sure recommend this place!!
You will not find a better Doggy Day Care experience than EWP. The Pack Leaders engage with the pups continuously during the day and my two come home happy and tired. This team cares about each dog individually - they are a joy to leave my fur kids with.
I am so greatful for my coworker and fellow nurse telling me about Emily's. She brings her Pups and Cat here and she could not have been more spot on for a great daycare for my Archie. He will be 5 this year and we have had our share of not good experiences at 2 other places and then we found Emily's. Professoinal, carring, kind, just the best people. You will have no worries. Just wonderful. Right acroos the street from Key Bank on Steilacoom.
I would definitely recommend Emily's Woof Pack to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding for their pups! We adopted our dog about a year-and-a-half ago and he was quite the handful. He didn't do well at a large daycare facility, and I was nervous to try again and leave him with anybody. Emily was willing to work with him and now he loves going over to her house! I love that she does overnight trials and a thorough screening process to make sure all of the dogs will get along before their first day of daycare. 10/10 would recommend 🥰🐾
Emily is a wonderful pet sitter (and human being!) and I trust her to the moon and back to give my pup excellent care. We had a lovely conversation before giving my dog a trial run at her house to figure out if my rescue dog's personality would fit in with the other dogs in the Pack. With my initial concerns about my dog's nervous and anxious behavior put to rest, I was able to leave her with Emily for 24 hours to test the waters. Emily sent photos and gave updates and determined that my dog was ready for a longer stay. Now, I'll leave my dog for her "vacation" with Emily this Christmas while I travel to visit family. <3 Emily came on high recommendation from my rescue, and I'm so glad I heard about her!
A few suggestions when pet-sitting for a first-time client: 1. Text the client or send the client pics of their pets when you first go over to their house to take care of them. It shouldn't be on the client to check in with you on Day 3 to know if you're taking care of their pets. Crickets do not reassure someone on vacation who's never used your service before. 2. If you are going over to their house every day to feed/water the pets and clean the litterbox, ensure that the number of bags in the trash match the number of days you were supposedly visiting. We're paying for each visit. If there is half the number of expected bags in the trash it does not give us much confidence that you were there every day--or at least doing what was expected of you every day. 3. If you are getting low on any supplies or food left by the client, text/call the client to inform them and offer to pick up more--and feel free to add a surcharge for the inconvenience. We did not need to return home late to find no dry food in the house and wonder if the pets were fed at all that day. 4. Invoice the client within 2-3 days after the job is done--don't wait almost two weeks for the client to ask for their invoice (we also asked for our key back because the first time will be the last time we use this service). You're getting paid for this service, right? Be organized and attentive. If it's not already obvious, we will be looking for another pet sitter in the future.
We were referred to Megan by our neighbors for our pet sitting needs. Megan was very reliable, profession and courteous. She asked all the right questions and came prepared for our first meeting. Her hands were full with our 2 dogs and 2 cats but she was very well equipped to handle the craziness of the 9 days we were gone. Her rates are reasonable and she’s very flexible. I’d use her services again in a heartbeat!
We're always happy to entrust our fur baby's care to Megan of Harbor Pet Sitters. It's nice knowing when we head out for a day trip somewhere that we can't take our pup along, that she'll stop in as promised and give Luna lots of love and attention - and she always sends us a text update after the visit to let us know everything went well.
Harbor Pet Sitters were great. Megan is trust worthy and professional. She even watered my plants! Thanks! I am using her services again in March.
Have had great service from Harbor Pet Sitters. Can feel good about your pet being in their care!!
We absolutely love the Muttro Pups! We have been using them for all our boarding needs for our three Italian greyhounds! They get to board in the same room and not in a cramped cage. I have such peace of mind that my dogs will be taken care of and happy! We have been repeat customers for 4 years!
My dog had a great experience being boarded. Everyone was kind and friendly and helped me feel reassured during her stay. I received pics and updates when I texted which also helped me feel more comfortable. My dog is about 9 and this was her first time being boarded. They were also really flexible to accommodate my request on a short notice over the holidays. I will definitely board my dog here again in the future!
They take great care of my crazy Shiba/husky mix! I also love that they are super responsive to their text check-ins, and send me cute pictures!
The Muttropolitan is an amazing doggy day care. They have boarding options and will come to your house. They have taken great care of my dogs and cats throughout the years.
10/10 would recommend them! First time boarding with them and I have nothing but positive things to say. Being gone for over a week, I was so grateful for the quick replies with updates and pictures of my dogs! The staff are so nice and helpful. They helped me bring my dogs out to my car when I picked them up, and having one small dog and one large old dog it’s a hassle by myself. Great place, great staff who communicate well! Thank you!!
Love this place! My nala is so happy here! Kirsten is amazing with my pup! She takes very good care of her! I have worked with her at previous places and will follow her on whatever adventure she takes on! 💗💗 Send your doggie here!
We boarded our 4 year old dog for the first time over the holidays after an unexpected change in our care plans. The staff was incredibly helpful in getting us the boarding help we needed with only a couple weeks’ notice at such a busy time of the year. I applaud their good communication (including updates and photos during her stay!), deep care for all animals they take in, and the willingness to help us out when we were in a major bind. We will definitely be boarding our dog here again! Highly recommend.
My two dogs, Lemon and Raspberry, have always had someone home to watch them while I go on work trips, and that changed this year after our relocation to Washington. I travel for work 3-8 times a year and I was worried about being able to find a suitable place for them since they have separation anxiety, are on the barkier side, and need prescription food. Muttropolitan found a place for my pups after a last minute Rover cancellation in October, and I took them back for a longer visit this month. These people go above and beyond for my dogs -- even sitting with them while they eat (this is the only way they actually eat when they're stressed). In addition to being reasonably priced, their facility accommodates them being boarded in the same kennel area, walks them multiple times a day, and is extremely punctual with sending updates and pictures upon request. My dogs are their normal silly selves when we get home, which shows me they are getting proper attention and they are minimally stressed while boarded. I am so glad that I found a place for my two babies. I highly recommend the Muttropolitan.
Our sweet Sunny girl has always gone to Leash the Muttro Pups anytime we needed boarding when we have to go out of town. We always come back to a very happy bean! It’s like a mini vacation for her, and we feel better knowing she’s really well cared for. What we appreciate the most is the photo text updates we get on how she’s doing, as well as the accommodations they had for her when she was still a pup and not spayed yet. 5/5 recommend! Also the sweetest people you will meet. Photos of her from her morning walks with Leash the Muttro Pups🥰
We've boarded our dog here a couple of times now for extended vacations, and he is always so happy and well cared for. Our dog is somewhat aggressive with other dogs, and we love that the Muttropolitan staff have experience with dogs with behavior issues and know how to handle and care for all the pets staying with them at any given time. It's a lot of extra work, and we appreciate the care and love that goes into his stay.
As an employee: I would personally board my dog here if I didn’t work here, appropriate accommodations for practically any type or case of dog. Every employee is an animal enthusiast/ pet owner with the mindset of treating your furry family member like they where our own.
We recently boarded our two dogs at Bayside for 4 nights, and grooming. We discussed with them, about picking up our pups, since we were going out of town, we planned on picking them up in the early afternoon. We were told there would be a convenience fee for pick up after 4pm. When we arrived to pick them up at 1:04 pm, they included a charge for an additional night, "because you have to pick them up by noon". This was an additional $84 charge. We were not advised of this policy, and there was nothing posted in the lobby stating this policy, nor on their website. At the moment, and now in hindsight, I believe this information should have been emphasized when we made our reservation. It feels like we were misinformed of a very important aspect of their policy. I don't plan on boarding with them ever again.
We were visiting from pretty far out of town (ga) and needed to board our two dogs for a week while we took a cruise. We were nervous about boarding them as the dogs go everywhere with us, and the little one had never boarded. They were so accommodating, and you could really tell the owner and everyone there were dog lovers. They had a great time. Thank you so much.
We love Bayside. Our dog gets groomed here and has stayed many times. He appears to be happy and comfortable. The staff is great. Definitely recommend.
Had to board my two cats almost 3 weeks. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. Cannot recommend them enough. ❤️
Love this place! They take great care of our pup, both for grooming and boarding. A return customer for certain.
The staff is amazing. They gush over our Winston. We do doggy daycare where he gets to play with his doggy friends once a week, and board him there when we're out of town.
Staff actively listened to my concerns and addressed them all, making me comfortable that my Kenobi (8 mos kitten) with an irritated paw from surgery was well taken care of. Kristen was especially reassuring and went out of her way to make Kenobi secure AND she addressed his reddened paw (with my permission) with Colloidal Silver and intermittent use of the vet's plastic collar to keep him from licking. Oral meds were also given as prescribed. Kenobi stayed 3 nights and when I picked him up his paw looked 95% improved! I was very surprised and super pleased. ~~ The only downside to Bayside is the noise factor. Daytimes, their grooming business is quite loud and can be disturbing and, of course, some of their boarded dogs will bark, as you would expect. I expect there are cats & dogs used to this and for them it's not a problem, others may be stressed or overwhelmed by the noise. Maybe they adjust quickly, I really don't know. Remediating the noise factor with some soundproofing would be potentially expensive, I would think, but it would provide a much improved and more calm environment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Overall experience: Really excellent and recommended! Thanks to all of the caring staff, and very special thanks to Kristen for your kind words of concern and extra care to my kitten. ~ Suzanne Riley October 15 - 18, 2021
Our family have used their grooming and boarding services. My small dog is a timid dog so his baths take longer than normal but the staff is always making sure my dog is comfortable and are always patient with him. My dog isn’t a fan of how loud the blow dryer is so they put an happy hoodie over his ears to make him comfortable. Also they always call me back the same day when I call to set up a boarding reservation . They have a small dog play yard and a big dog play yard and don’t charge extra for playtime like other places do. My sister in law has a chihuahua that does not do well in the kennel and they allowed her to be up at the front with them! Thank you Bayside Animal Lodge for always taking care of our babies.
Have taken our dog three times and he appears to really enjoy. He comes home and rests for a few hours. The staff is extremely pleasant and appears to be concerned with the well being of our dog. Have made new stay dates.
My pup Raspberry has been coming to Paws Play since April 2023. This is my first experience with a doggy daycare and I couldn’t be more happy! I love seeing the updates on IG and TikTok while I’m at work, and I love that they do different events/activities for the dogs. We do daycare twice a week and she has so much fun that I don’t think she’s ready to leave when I pick her up! She sleeps amazing after a full day of playing with her friends and I’m happy knowing she’s in good hands when I’m at work!
My dog Luna has been going to Paws Play for almost three years and always has a great time. They work hard to make sure each dog had their personal needs met and enjoys every visit. Luna also loves boarding when I am out of town and I feel great leaving her with people she loves!
My dogs love this place. They cant wait to get out of the truck to play with all their friends. The staff is super fantastic. We do daycare, boarding and buy all our food from them. Super care of my pets and provide competitive prices on food.
Boarded my dog here for a 5 day vacation. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff or care my dog received. He had a blast and played so much that he slept for a whole day after coming home haha. If you miss your pet, they will give you status updates and even send photos. I have attached a few. Look how happy he is! Cute! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It’s definitely cheaper than some spots, but they should charge even less due to the poor service and treatment they provide to the pups. My dog used to cry on the car ride there - he only gets excited now when we go to his new daycare. Don’t think that’s any coincidence. They’re contained to a windowless warehouse space - *they do not take them outside at all*. So they just poop and pee on the hard cement all day. They randomly kicked our puppy out, mind you with no warning at all, due to his “behavior”. When I dropped him off that day, they took him in and then the girl immediately told me she’d be giving him a bath because he just laid in another dogs pee. Like it was our fault.. maybe she should’ve cleaned up the mess sooner? Then I proceeded to watch her scream at the dogs. She seemed miserable (she was the only one working and there had to be at least 20 dogs in there). When we went to pick him up after we were notified he was kicked out, we thought he bit someone or something. Turns out their reasoning was he was just too rambunctious.. because he’s a PUPPY. Why would they let a less than 1 year old puppy into their daycare to begin with if they didn’t want to handle puppy energy?? Before leaving with him we asked if he’d gotten that bath and instead of answering the question, the manager/owner (I think her names Tabitha) just proceeded to talk badly about our dog. My partner said, “right you just told me you thought he was too much, I’m just asking if he was given a bath like we were told he’d be given.” The owner replied “I’m not sure.” She should not be allowed to operate this business. Ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found a new daycare - Kate is pricier than paws play but the dogs run around outside, and she seems like she loves what she does. She’s also only said very nice things about our pup - “he’s always so positive” for example. He’s got high energy but he’s a very good dog. Moral of the story, Kate’s an angel and Tabitha sucks. Don’t put yourself or your dog through this.
My dog loves this daycare, he’s so happy when I pick him up. One thing that really stood out was how seriously they take the trial run to make sure your dog is a good fit. The owner mentioned that they also do “down time” so the dogs can have space and don’t run themselves ragged playing constantly. I’m very grateful they open at 5:30, which allows me to make it to work on time (only daycare in the area open this early, btw!). Staff members are always so kind and friendly. Really glad we found this place.
Best doggy daycare ANYWHERE!!! Super great staff and doggy friends for our Mika. We take our pup once a week when my husband goes into the office. Mika is always so super excited to go in that it’s hard for her to contain her excitement. Aside from the daycare we’ve also had Mika stay for boarding. We like that she gets her own space and not have to be in a kennel since she doesn’t stay in a kennel at home. Seriously we could not be happier with Paws Play.
Our dog loves Paws Play! We tried other daycares before we found Paws Play on a recommendation from our boarder. The others were bigger groups and didn't seem to interact with the dogs too much and our dog didn't seem too happy to be there. After his first day at Paws Play he was tired and happy and definitely enjoyed the smaller pack there and the interaction the staff has with him. Now he knows when we are there and runs to the door to get in! It is nice to know that he is in caring hands while we are working as he is able to play but they give him time to rest too when they see he is tired. We are so glad we found Paws Play and our pup is too!
My Chloe loves paws play! We have done both daycare and boarding here and each time we come back she is just so excited to be there! She always comes back home so happy and the staff here enjoy having her. They are always happy to tell me how she was while she was boarding/at daycare and point out her doggy friends. They accommodate to her needs, she doesn’t do well in kennels or in the suites (she is a stage 5 clinger and just wants to be around someone) so they accommodate her and don’t force her to stay in there. She also loves playing ball and the last time I picked her up they had given her her own ball that she just carried around all day. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. We had a terrible experience boarding our Chloe at another place, she came back a zombie and was obviously not happy to be there at all. I have not seen anything remotely close to our experience with the first place at paws play! They treat the pups like their own and give them the freedom to run around and play all day long. I am so happy that we found paws play!
Our pup Cedar has been coming since June 2022. The prices for daycare and boarding are very reasonable. They do great fun events and always show the dogs having a good time on Instagram. My dog loves coming back here each time. They know her well and greet her everytime she comes in. They have been great when she needed transportation and they were great calming my nerves the 1st time we boarded her. Just a good caring place to bring your dog.
We took our dog, Tilly, to Happy Dog and she absolutely loved it. The staff is very kind but firm with her puppy energy, they go the extra mile to get her enough exercise, greet her with hugs and kisses, and were able to bring her out curbside when we had our kiddos in the car at pickup. Highly recommend this place!
Just want to say that this day care is an awesome place and the staff is amazing, but in the other hand, the Owner is a tyrant and power hungry control freak. My dog was removed from her day care because of a post I made about the lack of care all the dogs received on June 19th, from 11a.m. until right around 4:30 p.m. all the dogs were left unattended. Left a review on Paw partner, and she didn't care for it at all. Her and I had a text thread today and she was rather insulting was called crazy, an idiot. Told me my pup could stay if I removed my face from the profile picture on Paw Partner. I refused and she told I was no longer welcome. I've noticed a pattern with this person. If you say or do something she doesn't like she'll be rude and disrespectful to her customers. If there was a way to post our text conversation it would support how this owner is with people who defy her authority. On a good note just want to give a shout out to all the young ladies that have put up with her and her tyrannical attitude. You ladies be safe and watch you backs. Thanks care. You mad about a review grow up You do know I'm going to leave this text thread on Paw partner. Your blocked you idiot Keep it up we're loving this I swear we are You're going to super suffer for this in the courts You making this so easy Your ego is going to be your downfall I promise you that you got the right one call me idiot certifiable all you want to but I know it's right and I know what's wrong and you're mad about the review I left about a honest review I left and you're mad 5:59 PM SMS. This message is from the owner. There are several other messages in this text thread, just don't know how to upload them.
My puppy and I had a horrible experience here consistently for over a year before giving up. There were multiple issues including my dog being attacked and sent home with wounds requiring stitches down his stomach with no notification. When I questioned why it occurred, they told me someone just didn’t see it. But my dog came home whimpering in pain. There were also multiple occasions I heard staff screaming at the dogs. The staff was also unreasonably rude. They changed the terms and conditions of the package I purchased (against the law) and then told me they couldn’t confirm my purchase because they threw out the records. When I pressed, they called me hostile and scary when I told them calmly that I was upset there was no record, they changed the policy after my purchase, and expected an explanation. If not, I would report to the proper agencies because it felt dishonest as it was hundreds of dollars lost. In response, the staff told me they weren’t surprised because the old manager lied a lot but since they threw away my records they wouldn’t do anything to fix the situation. Obviously, that was upsetting as a customer. Sheri, the owner, yelled at me in response because her staff didn’t like that I stated their response was not okay. At the end of an angry call, she offered only partial services back. At the end of all of this, I can’t in good conscience have my family member in her care. Her temper was abnormal given that a customer lost hundreds of dollars because her old manager apparently lied to customers. Changing terms and conditions of packages following purchase should not be occurring. Sending dogs home injured is negligent. I have since tried two other places close by who have gone above and beyond and my puppy comes home much happier and not bitten or screamed at. ***Thanks so much for the response Sheri, demonstrating your poor customer service. I didn’t threaten to sue, I said I would make a report to the BBB. I did say I was an attorney and stated that changing the terms and conditions from expiring at a year to 3 months was not appropriate, that is not berating. I’m sorry your staff (the same age as me) is not trained to handle an upset customer who was speaking to them calmly and explaining their fair concern. I had purchased my package in August and you expired it and threw away proof of purchase by December, despite being told that it expired at a year (like my previous other packages). I hope you invest in better training for yourself and your staff on best practices.
Happy Dog South Sound is amazing! Our Aussie/border collie mix loves going to daycare and playing with all his buds. He goes almost every weekday from 7-3:30 and couldn’t be happier. He comes home smiling and exhausted, and in the morning couldn’t be happier to do it all over again :)
I have had nothing but a great experience with Happy Dog South Sound… Everything about this business is just impeccable!!! In my life, my dogs are my family and priority and I give my full trust to the staff at Happy Dog South Sound to take care of my buddy. Between the great prices, intensive care, and great facility… I highly recommend if you would like your pet in great loving hands.
FANTASTIC doggie day care!!! My experiences i have had there are nothing but great. My dogs absolutely love going there and they always have such a good time; they come back well played, well rested, and always come home in such a happy mood. I always feel so good with leaving my dogs here because the owner and staff truly show you that they care about your dogs well being, safety, and making sure they have a good time while they are there! I will be coming back for sure and i’ve already recommended this place to many friends and will continue too!
I have had a constantly amazing experience trusting my dog with happy dog south sound! They have always been the most generous, trusting, and caring people to look after my best friend for me! I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner myself and all I have to say is that you can really tell how much she loves her job and and how much she will do to ensure the quality care for your dog! Would definitely recommend!
I can’t express my love for this place enough! I have been sending my two fur babies here for years and they have always come home happy and healthy. The owner is amazing and by simply talking to her you can understand how much she cares about her business and the dogs she cares for. I have recommended this day care to so many friends and they all have said the same things I have!!! I can’t rave about this place enough!!!
I’ve taken both my dogs here many times and they LOVE it! The workers take great care of my dogs. They come back happy and well fed. They have made so many friends. The overall environment of the business is extremely positive.
We've been with Happy Dog for a few years now. While the ownership has changed, we've always felt comfortable with leaving or dog there 3 times a week, or boarding him if we go out of time. There are a significant number of "happy dogs" there each day, and the friendly staff seems to be pleased to see each one.
We love Janice's Critter Care! We've used them several times to take care of out cats while we were away on longer trips. They take excellent care of our cats and promptly reply if we ask for an update.
We started to use Janice’s Critter Care when we moved to Federal Way in 2019 to care for our cat. The peace of mind that her team provides while we are away is most wonderful. Her communication, responsive, and loving care she provides is beyond amazing. This past December we went away when a snow storm arrived and she kept us in the loop on conditions and still made it to see our diabetic cat. Even when the road wasn’t plowed and had to walk to get down to her house, she still made our cat and his health a priority. We are beyond grateful for her dedicated care and services. I highly recommend Janice’s service!!
We have been using Janice's Critter Care since we moved to Federal Way earlier this year. Janice is very responsive and flexible with our changing schedules. Christine always takes excellent care of our pup and makes sure he gets long walks while we are at work. We have had poor experiences with Rover in the past so we were thrilled to find this company. We trust Janice's Critter Care 100%.
Thank goodness for Janice’s Critter Care! This family business has been part of our family for the past few years taking care of our Goldadore Lucky. This team is trustworthy. They have excellent knowledge about animals and they are genuinely good people. We would not trust our dog with anyone else. Our dog loves Janice’s Critter Care and she is very happy whenever she sees them.
Janice is extremely reliable, always willing to work with my requests.we had to be gone for a week, I had 4 cats, (one diabetic requiring shots in am/pm) and an aquatic turtle. I had notes on everyday, they were willing to continue services if needed. The cost of the service very reasonable. I would highly recommend Janice’s Critter Care! I trust them and wouldn’t ever use anyone else!!
Janice and Tim are top notch! We have trusted them with our 2 dogs and entry into our private home for years. They are also great communicators with respect to anything they see during their visit. And they are extremely flexible with our ever-changing schedules. We highly recommend Janice's Critter Care!!
I have known & worked with Janice for over 10 years. Her knowledge & Love for animals can compare to no other. She is highly respected in the community as the Leader in Pet care around the South King Co. area. You get a peace of mind knowing Janices is taking good care of your Pet!! I Can honestly recommend Janice's Critter Care as the Very Best in our area. Reasonably Priced...150% Dedicated to animals...🐾 sincerely Elizabeth Jessie
This company is very personal and professional when it comes to onboarding and caring for furry loved ones. My pupper loved his carer and I'm so happy we went with them!! They left notes after their visits, and were very thorough when taking care of my old boy. I will absolutely be using them again and recommending them at every turn.
Filled out the contact form to get an email saying they aren't taking any new clients since September 2023. Why is there no mention of that on the website? Why are you still advertising?
Tim & Janice have been watching our pets for 10 years now. They not only take care of feeding & exercising our dogs (mostly Newfoundlands, but we got a Rottie mix last year to add something new!), they bring in the mail and check the houseplants to see if they need water. Even better, they are able to look after our chickens when we are gone; managing their food, water and treats and giving them a little time and human conversation while gathering eggs. Our four hens are my "Birds with Benefits" and I would not trust them alone or with someone who would scare them and cause them to stop laying those delicious eggs. No one else has come close to the excellent services provided by Janice's Critter Care! Doug & Cathy
My dog Suki and I love Biscuits! She always has the best time while there and makes tons of friends! They get such cute pictures of her and I always love them! She’s always so excited to see the staff at drop off and so tired when she comes home! I Can rest easy leaving her there knowing she’s getting the best care and is having the best time!
Biscuits Daycare is the best!! Our 10year old lab Spartan has been going here for the past 5yrs.. He loves going and paws the door to get out of car just to go in and play!! They always have some fun activity or training going on.. and events!! The staff member are great also.. and if you have any problems.. they are always willing to fix it Good job and keep up the great work!! Always continue to improve!! 💕🥰🐾
10/10! Biscuits is my puppy’s second home. She is 10 lb so I worried about finding a daycare for little dogs, but they group dogs by size. There were no other dog daycares in the south sound who did this! They care for my dog like she is their own. She loves going to her community of other dogs and caregivers there! I love getting report of her antics when I come pick her up. I would never take my dog anywhere else! Love Biscuits and the entire staff!!!
I've been bringing Indi here for 2and a half years. He absolutely knows what day is "Bisquits' day and makes a huge fuss to get going. The staff have always been adoring and instructive to him. They have accommodated my shift in schedule. I would highly recommend 🐕 Indis Mom …
I have been bringing our dog to Biscuits Doggie Daycare for a year now, for overnight boarding and grooming. I only have positive things to say about the place. Our dog is always very happy to go back which is a great sign. Biscuits are always attentive, friendly and I had no issues so far.
Awesome staff and facilities. Excellent care for our little old man. He is a Westin/Terrier mix. Love how the daycare groups dogs by size and age. Very caring people, too. Highly recommend!
Biscuits takes such good care of my favorite doodle in both daycare and boarding! They pay attention to her moods, and how comfortable she is around new people and new dogs. Because it’s such a great business, turnover is low, and Korra has made many new human friends in addition to a few dog friends. Honestly I’m not quite sure what we would do without Biscuits! !
Biscuits is an amazing daycare and boarding facility. They do a fantastic job ensuring my pups are well cared for and well socialized. I have four rescue dogs, and the one that goes here is by far the most socialized and well-adjusted of my pack. She’s been going here since she was just 12 weeks old and went through all the puppy classes. Ava has turned out to be so good with all dogs. Having rescues can be difficult, and a few of the older ones just won't do well in a daycare environment, but I am grateful Ava was able to be exposed at a very young age and taught how to be a good dog. Thank you, Biscuits!!
Do NOT take your dog to Biscuits. 1. They were extremely negligent in the handling of an emergency situation with my dog and could care less about his well-being. He broke his canine tooth and lacerated his tongue, then bled in his kennel for 1 and a half hours before they discovered it. Even when they called to have him picked up, they said they "weren't concerned about blood loss, if we needed to finish out our work day." Luckily, we rushed him to the vet (because blood was dripping from his mouth and his paws were soaked in it). He had 100 ml of blood pumped from his throat and emergency surgery to remove the canine and the tooth next to it, along with 2 layers of stitches in his tongue. 2. They don't give tours because they don't want you to see that your dog spends a majority of the day in a kennel. The play space is TINY. Like the size of a residential driveway. And lined with occupied kennels! Promoting severely antagonistic behavior. I was ushered out of there pretty quickly. It should have been an easy exchange of factual information, to get to the bottom of what happened to my dog. This was not the case. So many red flags. It is not a safe place for your dog. 3. They don't provide details of your dog's day because there are none--they sit in kennels. I specifically requested the schedule and details of my dog's day leading up to him having to have emergency surgery, and they ignored it multiple times. The good thing out of it all = I found an in-home daycare that is run by a woman who loves and cares about dogs. If this wouldn't have happened, he would probably have continued to attend Biscuits, just to sit in kennels for entire weeks during boarding stays. It breaks my heart to think of all the dogs that will be. Tell your people not to go there.
I absolutely love biscuits! My doodle has been going there since puppy school and I trust their team and their expertise to ensure he has the best and safe time! I live for the planned activities and themes and I think the secret Santa has been my favorite activity. They do their best to get you in and out and I know my dog/son is in good hands ❤️
