My dog had a medical emergency while in John’s care and I credit him with saving my pup’s life. You couldn’t ask for a better sitter in a pressure situation. He also communicated regularly during the stay, keeping me posted on how my pup was doing. Would recommend John to anyone who needs a sitter they can trust.

From her promptness to schedule a pre-sit call to her truly thorough tidying of our house, Stella was an amazing housesitter from start to finish!!
She read all the info we put together ahead of time, and asked for clarification on just a few things which made us confident that the pup and the house were in good shape :)
Stella was really gracious when we admitted to not having a coffee pot, and handling things calmly when there was an incident with street parking. 
Maybe most importantly though our dog Luke was calm when we came home. I think if future sitters are clear in their expectations around frequency of communication/photos and the dogs needs then Stella is the perfect person to exceed your expectations!

Lisa was an excellent pet sitter for our dogs Willa and Kato. She was attentive to their needs, administered medications, dealt with Kato’s unexpected ear problem and made sure they both were able to follow their daily routines and get plenty of exercise. It was quite obvious when we returned home that the three had bonded with each other and we know they will enjoy future sits already scheduled with Lisa. She was great about sending photos and updates while we were traveling, and it was a joy to come home to an immaculate house and thriving houseplants!

We highly recommend Lisa as an extremely reliable, caring and self-sufficient pet sitter!

Lori is the best of the best! I would recommend her 100 times over! Lori is great at communicating and our dogs were extremely happy. She was very attuned to our dog’s anxiety and did a great job making the dogs feel safe and loved. The house was spotless when we returned. Lori also had the job of taking care of my numerous plants. I have to say the plants look better when I got home than they did before I left😂 Lori has a green thumb. Lori is so kind and just a wonderful person. Amara was a WONDERFUL sitter for our home and our dogs for the weekend. We were so comfortable with her being in our home, and she provided regular updates and photos of our babies. Hamsa was very quick to respond in all communication.  She was prompt on her arrival and listened carefully to our detailed instructions about the house and dogs.  While we were away the amount of communication between us was just right.  When we arrived home the dogs were happy and the house was in order.  A good sign that a dog sitter paid lots of attention to the pups is when we see a bit of depression set in after a dog sitter departs - this did occur after Hamsa left our home  She is a very caring and nurturing individual.

This was our first experience with TH and we are very pleased. From the moment Rose arrived we knew she was the right sitter for our “kids”. Communication while we were away was great with pics of the dogs as well as text messages. Rose cared for our home and our “kids” with great care, she is very conscientious of your space. Extremely pleased with the care she provided to our “kids” and our home. We have another trip planned in a couple of weeks and are happy Rose will be staying in our home again. I highly recommend Rose as a sitter!

Tom and Diana were perfect house sitters and guests.  Great company, our dog immediately made herself at home with Tom. Animals loved and cleaned. House spotless, great communication and even left a thank you card and gift when they left.   I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

To this list of attributes I would add flexible, capable, sensitive, extremely good with the dogs even if one of mine is sometimes a little ornery, and just a wonderful person all around.
Because of constantly changing circumstances due to a move and coronavirus, my dogs ended up spending not two weeks but a whole month with John and they were so comfortable and happy.
John helped them in so many ways and coordinated shipping them overseas, he went above and beyond the wildest stretches of what a house sitter entails and did it with a smile and a laugh and reassurances that all would be well. And indeed he was absolutely right - the dogs arrived so well cared for that all my fears of them being traumatized went out the window.
John’s flexibility, and his kindness as well as his impeccable maintenance of my house in my absence all make me recommend him an absolute 10 out of 10.
