I love that the staff at Renaissance really tries to get to know my dogs’ personalities. My husband and I look forward to seeing the daily photo feed to see how Charlie and Lila are doing and how they’re interacting with other dogs and with the staff. I also like their petit suite. This was our first stay at Renaissance Pet Resort & Spa. I needed a caretaker for my working service dog. I found Renaissance through friends and an internet search. From my first visit to Renaissance and through all my dealings with them, the people were friendly, attentive to my needs and really cared about me and my dog. The cost was very reasonable and the staff was amazing. I loved the daily uploaded photos and videos so that I was able to see how my dog was doing. A great big thank you to all those who care for the animals at Renaissance! I will definitely use their services again.

Our fur baby is naturally nervous outside of our home, to the point of she won’t eat. The staff at Renaissance always above and beyond to make our Coco comfortable, and ease our minds knowing that she is being well cared for. Highly recommend!

Victoria did an awesome 1st time grooming on my puppy, Chloe. I am so pleased with the whole entire staff from the day and overnight staff to the groomers. Renaissance Pet Resort & Spa is a delight to use for my dog’s grooming and boarding needs! They really care about your pets! What I love is their report card after your pet has finished with any services! Everyone I have dealt with is so friendly and engaging. They are also knowledgeable about all things pets. They love their job and animals of course! I trust them for my pets grooming and boarding needs! You won’t be disappointed!

I recently was hospitized after a fall off a ladder so I had a friend drop off my chocolate lab Smokie while I was recovering. Renaissance was so caring for my 14yr old boy who was also having health issues. The staff was great and so loving with him. I would HIGHLY recommend Renaissance for all your pets needs from hospital stays or vacations. Renaissance you guys are the BEST 👌❤️

This is by far the best place to bring your pets for grooming, boarding or daycare. My dogs love it here, they always look so happy when I pick them up and the staff is incredible. Thank you for always taking great care of my furbabies.

A beautifully run resort for dogs (or any other pet). I was so anxious about boarding my dog for 4 nights. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. My dog had a blast! And she was tended to do well. The managers, staff and pet caregivers gave 5- star luxury service to my baby! Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to leave our Skippy Kitty for the week. I love the open cattery concept where he can hide! He even received turkey on Thanksgiving! The employees know he won’t cause them any trouble!

We were able to travel knowing that Debbie was taking great care of our chihuahua. It was comforting to get constant updates and pictures of Frida and to see how she was running around in the nice space Debbie has for the dogs she cares for. Definitely recommend Debbie, and we are so thankful to her!

Our pup stayed with Deb for two weeks. Deb was extremely helpful and informative in the booking process which made things less stressful. During the two week stay Deb sent photos and updates to keep us informed. We will definitely use Deb again for future boarding. Thanks Deb!!

When ever we need to leave our dogs we want them to be safe and secure. Our dogs are always well taken care off. I love the space and my dogs enjoy their time too. I don’t feel worry leaving them with Deb which helps me enjoy my trip. Highly recommend.

I have been doing business with Animals first for over a year now. Sandie and Mark are truly wonderful people. They treat their animals with the kindness and care of parents. I have complete access to their facilities and have seen first hand how much their animals are taken care of. Animals first takes care of each and every animal they board as if they were their own. I have boarded my service dog at Animal’s First for several years. He loves going there. I don’t take him with me when I go to Europe, so he stays there for a week or two at a time. He always wags his tail with delight when I pull up to the ranch—he knows he’s going on vacation!!!! Thanks Marc and Sandie for taking such good care of him, and giving me peace of mind. We have used Animals First for the last 2 years, first with our lab/hound (Isabella) and now with our smaller more docile Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund (Wilson). The owners and staff have a high level of professionalism, a broad understanding of animals, and warm, caring, and sincere hearts. Our animals have always enjoyed their stay. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend Animals First to our friends/family for their pet-care needs while traveling. It’s nice to know our animal’s paws are in good hands while away.

We have left or Malshi there several times. Sandy and her husband are great and really care about their guests. Cooper enjoys playing with the other dogs. Sandy is also a great trainer for dogs with problem behaviors or who just need training. Very practical real life recommendations.

Terrible customer service! I made reservations and then called kennel to confirm my reservations, the lady I spoke to said I needed to send her a picture of my dogs before she could confirm the reservations to make sure they didn't look like pit bulls. After I sent the pictures I never heard back from her so I figured she didn't like the way my dogs looked. Then two days go by and I am charged a deposit without my reservation being confirmed in any way (No e-mail, no phone call, or text). I understood that if I cancelled my reservation I would be charged a deposit but my reservation was never confirmed and I am now out $102.

I telephoned them and asked to look over the facilities, and they said I required an "appointment". I have never heard of such a thing. I was left with the impression that they are hiding something. After a lengthy conversation, they agreed. I feel that when I want to board my dog, I want to inspect the facility and interview the staff, before I make any commitment. I boarded my dog there, however after turning him over to them, they would NOT allow me inside, to see which cage he was in, and say goodbye. I have no idea how he was treated during the stay. When I picked him up, They brought him to the outside office patio without me. Everything seemed kind of "fishy" to me. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Mark and Sandy are amazing people! Your pet is their priority, and they literally "roll out the red carpet" with themed rooms, grooming and exercis. They truly put your animal first... be careful though, your pet may not want to go home!!!

Animals First is by appointment only. I scheduled an appointment for a tour but when I showed up, I was told that I could not physically see the room where my dog would be staying. They just showed me a picture on a monitor. Not sure what the point was to make an appointment for a tour if there is no tour. I don't feel comfortable leaving my dog there if I can't see where she would be staying.

Best handling class in So CA. Great training facility with knowledgeable accomplished dog savvy instruction. Showed trained my last pup here, debuted him and finished him in three weekends. In the summer I take my dogs here to swim and keep them in condition. My dogs love this place and the wonderful people who work here.

Briarcliff Pet Resort is by far the best boarding option in all of the Inland Empire. I have brought my dogs here for many years now and have nothing but good things to say about this incredible pet resort (it really is a pet resort). One thing that stands out is how clean their facility is. The manager there Juliet, one of the kindest people you'll ever meet, maintains high standards for keeping the resort clean, safe and orderly. Dave who does the training there is also a true professional at his craft. I did his training program with my super high-energy GSD and he taught me control and training techniques that were an absolute game changer. If you're looking for a top-notch, quality boarding and training pet resort, this is your place.

I took My dog to Briarcliff About 3years ago for the first time . He had a great time I was very happy with their services everybody there said they loved my dog. A year after that I took them again and same experience . I am a Disabled Proud Marine And my dog is a Marine Corps dog and has been a godsend to me. Nobody told me anything different. Now I call up and make a reservation and I get a call back from the manager Juliet and she tells me that the last time I brought my dog about 2 years ago she said that my dog was growling at certain attendants and not being cooperative. I never heard anything about this when I took my dog 2 years ago .Nobody said anything. What this lets me know is that they don't have the right people working there and I am glad that Juliet called me and let me know because I do not want to take my dog somewhere that they do not know how to handle dogs . My dog would not hurt a fly and I have had him for 4 years and he has never growled at anybody or anything. Anyway This Proud Marine definitely would not refer Briarcliff to anybody anymore because I obviously have no confidence in their services and I appreciate them Letting me know.

My dogs have always enjoyed their stays at Briarcliff Pet Resort. I found their updated booking system easy to use and appreciate the prompt response whenever I need to reach out for information. The dogs have always returned home in really good conditions and the photos I receive while they’re there are an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this facility to those looking to board their dogs in the Menifee area.

I’ve had my fair share of positive moments here, but unfortunately, the establishment has undergone significant changes. I began bringing my pet here around five years ago. It wasn’t my top choice, but its proximity to my home and reasonable pricing made it a convenient option. However, over time, it seemed as though they were actively trying to deter business. There are obvious staff shortages here, which seem to be confirmed by their, inconvenient operating hours and odd closure days. Could this be why they’ve implemented policies that appear to be designed to discourage customers? For example, many places allow pet owners to administer their own vaccines. I’ve been giving my pet the Bordetella vaccine for years, even documenting it with photos of the labels and bottles. Yet, they insisted that I couldn’t board there if I was handling my own vaccinations. Once things started to normalize post-COVID, I decided to have the vet give the bordetella vaccine. I attempted to schedule boarding for an upcoming vacation, only to be told I was calling too early and couldn’t book outside of a 60-day window. This was incredibly frustrating, as kennels in our area fill up quickly. After planning an expensive international trip, I really wanted the peace of mind of knowing my dog had a place to board. I marked my calendar to call back within the specified time frame. However, months later, when I finally made the call, I was informed that the owner no longer accepts Italian mastiffs at the kennel. I can’t say I was surprised, considering I hadn’t been able to get my dog in for the past few years. Sadly, this often happens when businesses have an abundance of customers… they no longer feel the need to provide real value. It’s disheartening that we were treated this way and then simply discarded. A more sensible management decision might have been to stop accepting NEW Italian mastiffs. Considering the breed’s average lifespan is only about eight years, and they’ve already been accommodating us for five, we could have continued for the next three before being turned away. Now, I will never support this business again, even when I get a different breed.

We boarded our two dogs with Briarcliff this last weekend and they were absolutely wonderful! Very professional and very caring! They took very excellent care of our fur babies! It was our first trip away from them in years and they made us feel very comfortable about the care they received while we were gone. We highly recommend them. The staff member who greeted us when we dropped off and picked up was phenomenal. So glad we found a place like Briarcliff to care for our fur babies when we are in need of a place to board. I can't say enough positive things about our experience.

Heidi is the best. Very trusting. She is so sweet to all animals. Very protective of all in her care!! Heidi is the only person I trust with my doggies or any of my animals. She goes out of her way/over and beyond, to care for animals in her care!! She is very reasonable too. A1 on my list!!

The best place ever to take your dogs! Heidi is so kind to all the animals. She has 30 years experience. Her place is clean! On a ranch so lots of room for the dogs to run around. Her grooming skills are a plus!

She locked our dogs up in a 1car garage, and left the bag of dog food we brought in with them! Of course my dogs got into the food and ruined a brand new large bag of dog food... Why on earth would she leave it in the garage with them??! We have boarded our dogs dozens of times at multiple places and never had an issue. At least one of our dogs had a panic attack from this prison cell and scraped up some of the wall by the door. Apparently. She was so upset by this that she called us at 5:30AM to tell us to come get our dogs!... We paid her 600$ for the weekend and I had to cancel our plans to go get our dogs! And SHE DIDNT GIVE ME OUR MONEY BACK! She said we signed a contract that said we're responsible for anything. But I swear I think she caused the damage. It just didn't look like a dog caused it. And if it was our dogs its because she put all 4 of them in a pitch black tiny garage. My dogs have always been fine and never done anything like this! But she ROBBED us because you can't keep the money we paid for a service. You refund our money and bill us the the minor repair cost. Which wouldn't be even close to what we paid. A small pice of drywall... Her yard is full of rotted wood and other questionable barriers and theres no dog run. Its just her front yard. We were livid and almost called the police. Should have, but I didn't feel like the hassle being so upset.

This person answer all my questions and was helpful too , she is the owner of this place . And yes she grooms cats too very pretty and relaxing to talk to 👍 this what we need around here not like some others places …

Love Denise & Cool Dog ranch! We never knew our great dane Zoey could smile so big until we started talking her here. So much so that we nicknamed it ‘Doggy Summer Camp’! Indoor & outdoor time is exactly what they need. As great danes are, a big scaredy cat.. she fit right in loved being with other dogs while we were on vacation. Denise sends us lots of pictures via text and we greatly appreciate her love for all the dogs. Tongues out and having a blast! Thank you!

My pup stayed 3 nights and 2 days. He received great care and seemed happy when I picked him up. He was clean and not chewed on. Lots of room for the dogs to just hang out. They don't have cameras, but the staff sends photos and gives updates.

Triple A grade experience not only for myself but for my pup as well. If you've taken time to check out the reviews of this place...let this review sink in. There is nothing more I could ask for during my pets stay. Not to mention being able to recieve photo updates during my pups stay adds even more assurance to my peace of mind. I will definitely keep coming back. I know my pup enjoyed it.

We took our pups here for snake aversion training. They walked our dogs individually through a 10-minute training course. One of our pups did ok and the other was stubborn. Instead of repeating the course another time or two to ensure they had appropriate training, they sent us on our way. They should repeat the course 2-3 times to help reinforce the training. I emailed my concerns over a week ago and no one responded. So, I'm writing public reviews commensurate to the training. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the training that has a hefty price tag. I don't feel our pups are equipped to deal with snake encounters. Sadly, this experience has soured us to using them for boarding when we travel.

Love this place! We always feel comfortable leaving our dog with Denise and the folks of Cool Dog Ranch. We love getting pictures of our boy playing with the other pups and knowing he’s being taken care of.

I highly recommend Cool Dog Ranch. Even my first time visiting, I could tell how much the staff loves these dogs and cares for them. The owners, trainers, and other customers form such a nice community and I am glad to be a part of it! When I first brought my puppy to daycare she was shy, timid, and unsure how to interact with the other dogs. The daycare has been a great experience for her and now she gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. They also work all day to reinforce good habits in our pups, and have actually helped me kick my pups habit of playing with her water bowl. The beginners class was also great, my puppy has learned so much and is becoming so well trained!

We visited Cool Dog Ranch for a special event. The Dog Boarding areas were closed so we could not check them out, but the other areas were very inviting and immaculate. I had the pleasure of meeting their dog trainer. She was a pleasure to visit with so I plan to bring my two fur babies to her.
