Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Denise was by far the best pet sitter we have ever had! She watched our two pups while we were gone for 3 weeks and took amazing care of our dogs and home. She took the time to ask questions and make sure she understood each dog’s needs as well as how to take the best care of our house before we left. She sent videos everyday updating us on how the pups were doing. We were so happy to see how much quality time she was spending with them and how much they loved her. Our dogs were so sad to see her leave and we can’t wait to have her back. Denise made sure that the house was in perfect condition when she left and treated our home as if it were her own. If you are looking for a pet sitter, look no further. Highly recommend Denise!
This is our second time with Jamie and she’s really a great sitter for our dogs . She’s a trusted person, smart. You can leave her your house and pets. Can’t wait to have Jaimie back next summer
Cindy was great, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter experience! Communication was great both before and during the sit. Cindy was really helpful and flexible with arrival and departure arrangements. I came back to a happy dog and a well cared for house, can thoroughly recommend 🙂
Lori is the best of the best! I would recommend her 100 times over! Lori is great at communicating and our dogs were extremely happy. She was very attuned to our dog’s anxiety and did a great job making the dogs feel safe and loved. The house was spotless when we returned. Lori also had the job of taking care of my numerous plants. I have to say the plants look better when I got home than they did before I left😂 Lori has a green thumb. Lori is so kind and just a wonderful person. Rest assured if you choose her as your sitter your dog and home are in the best hands. Thank you again, Lori! Blessings!
Joanna and David were wonderful sitters for our dog Broderick and our apartment. Before starting to sit for us they took time to come and meet Broderick which we were very appreciative of. During their time sitting for Broderick we got great updates every day and wonderful photos of our pup, and they were very responsive whenever needed. When we got back home we found a happy puppy, healthy plants, and a spotlessly clean apartment - they had even taken the time to wash sheets and towels and left us a kind thank you note. We would have them sit for us again in a heartbeat!
Lynn and Ray were fabulous sitters, going above and beyond to take care of our home, yard, and rambunctious pup. Leaving him for three weeks was very difficult but we felt confident once we met them. They are great communicators, very professional, capable of handling any situation, and personable. Since they are fully self-contained in their van, they arrived a day early so we could show them the place, have our dog Bailey get comfortable with them (that was immediate ☺), and get to know them over dinner together. While on our trip, they sent us daily photos of Bailey, which we really appreciated, and updates on their activities. They took him hiking almost every day and kept him well exercised. Any issues that came up (e.g., our irrigation water ran dry a couple weeks in) they communicated to us and we were able to resolve them quickly. They also harvested ripe berries and squash for us and even harvested and dried tomatoes in our dryer. We spent our entire trip feeling assured that all things were being taken care of and feel ever so grateful that we found Lynn and Ray through TH. We returned from our trip to a house that was thoroughly cleaned (better than we left it ☺), with fresh sheets on the bed, and a happy dog. Five-star sitters for sure!
First things first, Linda is awesome! If she applies for one of your sits, you have to accept! This was our first time using zeewoi and is also the first time we have left our dog since we got him. Obviously, we were nervous at the beginning, but Linda removed all aspects of that. She is honestly one of the nicest, kindest, most polite people you will meet. From our first initial meeting, we knew that she was the sitter for us, and for Archie. The day that we left, Archie let out a little cry as we said goodbye. This was the first time he had done this (it broke our heart), but we knew he was in great hands! Throughout the week, Linda was extremely communicative. She would send us daily updates, share videos of their walks together, and send pictures of the two of them having fun. She spoiled Archie with love, attention, and a couple of new toys! When we returned, the house was in the exact same condition as we had left it, and was very clean and tidy. When Linda left, Archie ran to the door, started to cry, and sat/laid there for some time - And we think that this alone is a great reflection of the kind of person that Linda is. Linda – It was an absolute pleasure to host you in our home, thank you for everything that you did for us and Archie, and for making our first experience a positive and memorable one. Archie misses you! We hope you get the chance to do it again for us in the future.
The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!
Melissa and Chris are amazing. We are very picky about our dog sitters, and we chose them because they have been doing this for a long time and track your wants and needs carefully and follow through with utmost care and integrity. They offered to come the day before we left to meet Winnie so that we could rest in that she would trust them and connect to them. Honestly, we would hire them as our only dog sitter all of the time if we could. I cannot thank them enough and say enough good things about them. They also took very good care of our house and plants.
Lori and Joe took great care of our two dogs and tow cats while we were gone. Our plans changed and we actually asked if they could come a day before we had originally planned to leave and they said no problem! They even stayed over on the night we got home so that we could meet them which was very nice! Lori was very good with communication before the house sit and also during the time they were here. She let us they had arrived safely and then sent us a short text or pictures every day of the animals. The house looked cleaner than when we left it when we got home! Lori and Joe were great house sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

We had Ashley at our home to help us improve our loose leash walking in our back yard. She was incredibly friendly, helpful and encouraging. We learned lots of new skills to practice all summer in just 1 training session. We would highly recommend her for training and we are hoping to see about her boarding services in the near future. We would 100% trust our dog in her care. Thanks Ashley!
Our 4-legged son Ace gives us so much love, attention and happiness that we don’t trust just anyone but through the interview process and overnight stay Ashley gained our trust and confidence. It gives me great satisfaction when we are away to see amazing photos and videos where Ace is having an exhausting tussle with other dogs, a dog sled team walk or just a relaxing cuddle with Ashley. Our dog isn’t the best eater when we are away but Ashley tries many many different techniques and tricks to get him to eat which is working. Thank you Ashley for giving Ace a happy and loving home away from home, it means the world to us!!!
Our pup adores Ashley and we trust her with caring for him like a family pet. We get photo and video updates of their walks, playtime and snuggles. Ashley is also very professional with documents, scheduling and making sure she know everything she needs to know about the pets she cares for. We absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for boarding.
Ashley is so trustworthy and caring with my dog Fred. He loves going to Fido and Friends when I am away. I love getting updates and photos and know he is in such great care.
Ashley took care of our labradoodle Finn while we were away for 2 weeks visiting family. We didn't feel comfortable leaving Finn in a pet hotel where we felt it would be too stressful and stimulating with so many other dogs for that period of time so Ashley's in-home setup was perfect. We did an afternoon and then overnight trial stays initially to acclimate Finn who can be nervous in new situations, but from here 2nd visit on Finn was enthusiastic about visiting Ashely so we knew she was comfortable. While we were away Ashley sent us regular pictures and short videos of Finn having a great time either on her own or with her co-boarders. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending!
Ashley from Fido and Friends is a fantastic pet sitter who is so loving, caring and attentive with our sweet little Milo. He has allergy issues and is very picky about his sleep habits and she is so attentive and flexible with his pickiness to ensure he comfortable and feels loved. We are very lucky to have found her, even though we live a half hour away - we never have a problem making the trip to bring him there. He always comes home happy and very well taken care of! Thank you Ashley!
We love being able to bring our Boston Terrier, Daisy, to Fido & Friends for day stays during the winter. Ashley makes sure Daisy gets plenty of playtime as well as cuddles on the couch. I especially love the connection Daisy has made with Ashley and how excited she gets every time we show up. I'm really happy we were able to find Fido & Friends and I can't wait for Spring to come so we can get Miss Daisy set up for some dog walking too.
We have an 11 week old male Siberian Husky that is so sweet and loving but he liked to bite, scratch and jump up on us a little too much. After doing a whole lot of research trying to find a solution that would work for us due to Covid, we stumbled upon Fido and Friends Wpg. I am so happy we did. After our first zoom session with Ashley, we noticed a huge difference in our pups behavior. We learned just as much if not more than he did and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We love that the training is based on positive reinforcement and its tailored specifically for our dogs needs. She is very realistic in expectations and provides follow-up emails so that you don't forget your "homework". I cant wait to continue the work with our fur baby and see his progress! If you're looking for a professional trainer that's affordable and fun, this is it.
Ashley from Fido and Friends is very caring and understanding of the needs to best suit your dogs. She is very patient with nervous dogs and has a great handle on body language of dogs when introducing them to others. Would highly highly recommend her for anyone looking to leave their pup in the care of someone’s home versus boarding in kennel environment.
Ashley has looked after our little boy Bear twice now when we have travelled. Rather than a loud kennel where he is overwhelmed and stressed ( as has happened once in the past), Ashley treats him as one of her own and gives him all the love and attention he is used to! She is very professional and keeps us updated with comments, photos and even videos of him. We will not hesitate to have her take care of Bear again and give her the highest possible recommendation. Thank you!!
We had our dog attend daycare here for a bit a couple years ago and did not have a good experience. We did our meet and greet with Mateo who ensured us that he would be able manage our high energy dog and he would not need the special class for dogs with behaviour issues. We told him we wanted him to have a clean safe place (where all the dogs are vaccinated) to burn energy and emphasized the importance of clean and safe. There were many times when we picked our dog up from daycare and he was in the kennel and came home with high energy which made me believe he was not getting exercise which is why we enrolled him in daycare. We noticed an increase in behaviour issues from having our dog attend daycare here as they often spray the dogs with spray bottles. We never spray our dog with spray bottles but would spray the cat occasionally. Now every time we point the spray bottle at the cat our dog gets very aggressive. I’m unsure of the cleaning method this facility uses as our dog got kennel cough from here after his second visit but they said it wasn’t their fault. We let that go as dogs can get it from anywhere but I believe they have too many dogs at one time. We stopped bringing our dog because the workers told us that he should be in the special class for behaviour issues moving forward. When we brought up how Mateo guaranteed us that they will be able to manage our dog without him being in the special class we were told that Mateo is on paternity leave so there’s nothing they can do about what he said. Essentially our dog attended daycare to gain behaviour issues and not get enough exercise. We have been using Rover doggy daycares alternatively and have had great success as they don’t have 30 dogs in a building and our dog gets exercise and attention.
I walk by Paws Unleashed from time to time in order to catch the bus to work. And the majority of the time I see all the dogs outside. Now that is it getting to be hotter/warmer weather, I suggest some sort of shaded area(s) to be added to the outside "yards" as the dogs are always panting and trying to find the coolest places to lay down, etc. I am also not sure if you always have adequate water bowls or stations when the dogs are outside, either. Just my opinion, of course, as an outside observer, if you will.
My mother Maria uses Paws unleashed for her dog Archie. Lisa is an amazing trainer & an amazing human being. She's patient, calm & friendly and truly cares about the dogs in her care. Our dog Archie loves her & is always so happy when he sees her. Archie has behavioral issues and with Lisa's help he has come a long way. We couldn't have done it without her amazing support & expertise. Her staff are very friendly, helpful & professional. Archie loves to see them when he goes to day care. Thank you Lisa & thank you to her amazing team.
My Ellie absolutely loves going here. Every morning before we leave, I tell her she is going to daycare and she gets so happy and excited. Ellie loves all the employees and the owner Lisa. Ellie use to have issues with approaching other dogs with too much excitement which would seem like aggressive behaviour to other dogs. Now Ellie is really learning how to approach other dogs appropriately, she also now understands how to share, as well as her manners have improved alot! This is such a fantastic place, I would recommend Paws Unleashed to everyone!
I reached out to Paws because my dog was being very aggressive when he was on leash. They said he thought he was protecting me from people and other dogs. With their help he now goes to daycare and loves other dogs. We are still working on our people skills but he has made so much progress. It's just me and him so it was very difficult and they are so supportive and not judgmental. My trainer is Carly. I was even able to take him to a class without him trying to fight everyone around me!!
They love their dogs. They have good ideas for training your pet. Very helpful with their understanding about how dogs think.
I was nervous about putting my dog into daycare from the start. I came across Paws Unleased when I was researching doggy daycares and I thought I would give them a go. I have nothing but good things to say about this daycare. Since starting daycare for my dog his temperament towards other dogs and people has improved tremendously from the socialization. The building is always clean, and the staff are very friendly. I never have any concerns dropping my small dog off for daycare here.
After driving by this place today, I decided to park across the street to see how the staff handles the dogs. Well, they're out side. I was shocked to see a lady with short hair and glasses Spraying the dogs with a Water bottle and Stomping towards them Aggressively & with Tone! Why ? because they we're barking at a walker passing by! Then a city worker was signing the street and she proceeded to do the same thing to any dogs that approached the fence to bark at the worker. Spraying dogs with a water bottle and aggressively stomping towards them with tone to show dominace and create fear of barking so they don't approach the fence or bark is not okay dogs bark they get excited sad to see if this we'remy dogs i wouldn'tput up with it. As a dog owner myself, I was shocked to see how they handled the dogs in this brief hour as I watched. To further add as you have replied wich I appreciate. But what your saying vs. What I saw today was not the case of what you are saying. To stomp feet towards an agressive dog while shouting and spraying them in the face with a water bottle mean while some we're showing no true signs of aggression. A dogs natural reaction is to bark and greet. What I witnessed Is abuse and you guys need to re evaluate your work practice and workers if they treat dogs that way. A dog should never go home scared from a trainer or a daycare end of story.
We travel full time and our dogs have been to a lot of doggy daycares. The staff here was way more in-depth with their meet/greet. They made us feel totally comfortable leaving our fur babies for the day. Once they expand and have some outdoor space, they will be amazing. Highly recommend.
Great daycare and overnight boarding! Staff are amazing and friendly (thanks Josh!!) Our dog Peppa has never had any issues :)
Cats Cradle was recommended to me by friends and family that had used them and said they were great. They lived up to the hype! The cat accommodations are clean and spacious. They obviously care a lot about the kitties that stay with them. The cats have a nice big window to look outside in each of their little rooms. They were very patient with my “anxious pet parent” requests and were able to respond to my questions and send pictures while I was travelling. It was hard to be away from my cats but they made it much easier. I’d recommend them and use them again
Owners only care about money. They have no empathy for people, neither for cats. My cat is rescued from Mexico and she came to Canada in August 2023. She is an old cat and went through a lot, it was challenging the adaptation for her so I had my doubts of leaving her in a pet hotel because she suffered a lot in the past, but I was under pressure as I needed to go out of the city so I made a reservation with them on September 2023. Considering how traumatized my cat was and how hard was for her to adapt to new places I realized I made a mistake and it was not the time to leave her in a strange place with strange people. After I gave the deposit I canceled the reservation in less than 24 hours and asked to get the money back and they told me it was nonrefundable but they could hold the deposit for one year. I contacted the owners and explained. There was a lot of back-and-forth between me and the owner Krispen and that time, where he never returned my calls, it was always me the one who had to call, it felt like he was avoiding me on purpose. At the end, he denied my request and I had to leave the deposit. In the next coming months my cat developed kidney disease and digestive problems since then, it has been impossible to leave her alone for several hours. So as the year passed, I contacted them again and I explained how sick my cat became and due the circumstances I requested to consider to give me back the deposit , but they said no, because that was their policy. I asked them if I could use their grooming service instead so in that way they didn’t loose the money, but they said that was impossible. I never encountered such a cruel and inflexible attitude, not even willing to understand my situation. That deposit could be used for my cat’s food or vet visits but they prefer keep it. If you love cats you would understand that they are just like people and not all the cats cat adapt easily, especially if they have been physically abused and if they are sick. Giselle, the other owner, never even replied to my emails. I feel so disappointed of people like them. I will never recommend this place, they showed me who they are and how much they ”care” for cats.
After researching and reading tons of reviews, we decided on cats cradle for our two cats first ever time away from home. Happy to say , it was a great choice. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. They kept us updated with pictures throughout their stay. I think the stay went better than we imagined. We will definitely be using Cats cradle in the future!
An amazing place for my cat to stay! This is the second time we sent Bate to the boarding kennel. This time we were away for 3 weeks. As we expected, he is happy and has gotten fat for a bit. He seems to miss his playground a lot as we don’t have so many toys and cat trees at home. The rooms are big enough for our cat to feel comfortable. Unlike other places which are small and smelly (you can imagine letting your cats stay in a small cupboard for many days). The nanny is lovely and she always asks for Bate’s daily portions. You can also ask for updates on how your cat is doing and she will send you pictures and videos of your cat. Surprisingly, each room was given a bird feeder in the summer so that cats could enjoy it. Affordable price! Same range as other places but we get so many more benefits! (Big playground, big rooms, lovely nannies, even grooming and nail trimming services besides the kennel)
My experience with Cat's Cradle Boarding was 11/10. From beginning to end, everyone I contacted was responsive, informative, and very kind. We were so nervous about letting our kitty Lucy for the first time, but the knowledge and kindness of Genelle and her team was reassuring. Lucy stayed there for 7 nights, and I was able to text every day to check in how she was doing, and even got some lovely pictures! When we picked her up, she was so happy and it was noticeable her affection with Genelle. I also highly recommend the grooming service by Perfect Paws, which was wonderful. Lucy is now ready for the holidays :) Thank you so much for taking care of our kitty as she was yours. We are so happy to now have a reliable place to take Lucy when she needs.
I consider using "Cats Cradle" to be one of the worst decisions of my life. Upon picking up my cat it was evident he had significant trauma that was incurred in their stay, unfortunately eventually resulting in an amputation. This led to multiple surgeries and medical bill's running into the thousands of dollars. Their initial offering of a $100 giftcard to compensate was laughable, their eventual offer of $300 for the "chattel" rate based on a dead cat was hurtful. My cat is still suffering months after this incident, he went from a joyous enegeretic cat to one that hides and wails in closets. He is terrified of his own body now. I never asked for anything more than that they paid for his medical bills, I was shocked this wasn't considered reasonable.
My boy Vinnie stayed at Cat's Cradle Boarding for a week. I can't say ENOUGH things about how wonderful it went for him! He needed twice daily meds, no problem for Wendi! He got "loves of luvvin' " and came back a happy boy, if not a little disoriented as I'd moved out of my old house into a new one while he was gone. I received daily updates on how he was adapting, with photos, and it allowed me to not stress out about him and to focus on the move. THANK YOU Wendi!!
Barry and Sherry loved their time there, and we got updates and pictures by email. It is a very clean and spacious suite, and they took such great care of our babies.
Our cats had a 2 1/2 week long stay at this cats only kennel. The cats were happy and healthy when we picked them up. The younger cat really enjoyed the play time in the centre area. The older cat is more reserved. She enjoyed the outdoor deck attached to their suite. Wendi the proprietor is very caring and recognizes the individuality of cats. I would most certainly use this place again.
Nothing short of amazing! The staff are exceptionally kind and pleasant to deal with and our cat enjoys her time there. There is a reason they have a 5 star review and it is well earned.
I arrived and while approaching the doors a staff member barked at me to get my dog on a leash I did comply in the parking area. She continued to aggressively engage in berating me regarding their rules and leash laws (Hanover municipal area) (ruraly located) I told her to settle down and that my dog was under control. This person then left in a vehicle and did not identify themself as staff. I asked the male desk person if the lady was an employee which he said no. When I returned to pick up my dog the two female staff decided to confront me. They were not truthful in their versions of what had occurred and had acted intentionally slow in giving me my dog back. I had already paid and had to demand his return or I would go back and get him myself. They are antagonists and bullies and need a lesson in customer service and courtesy. When I said I would never return they said good. And did a smart aleck have a nice day with extra sass when I left. Do not use them is my two cents. With a little courtesy they could have explained their reason when it originally happened but instead chose to act as authoritarian bullies. They escalated the situation.
New owner, staff and policies, it shows. Been bringing our dog there for 5 years, after today I will never be coming back. Hope the new owner has deep pockets because I can see them losing a lot of long time customers if the new staff stays.
My 3 dogs just spent almost 2 weeks at Clearsprings kennel for boarding. My dogs are my whole world. The staff was so great and exceeded my hopes of how their stay would go. My crew all together can be alot of dog and they were great with them! I am so grateful
Very impressed with the service and they were exceptional to take my dog on short notice as we were visiting Manitoba from Ontario and they were so accommodating. My Dog normally can be a little anxious when leaving him at new places but he seemed to do well, had no issues with him after picking him up after boarding him for 3 nights. I would highly recommend Clearspring Kennels. Great Staff very helpful! Overall Very Impressed!! If I were to go back to Manitoba i would definitely book a few nights stay for my dog.
Boarded my dog here over Christmas. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to bring personal items and we're happy to feed my dog raw even with all my instructions. They sent photos and gave me updates.
More expensive than our other boarding option and our dog came home sick. Wouldnt eat and had the squirts in our house the very next day. They do offer other services which was handy as we got our dog washed at the same time
I brought my 4 month old puppy here for daycare for the first time. they took such amazing care of him! they give a report card when you pick up your pup and it says how/what they did on that day. i would highly recommend bringing your dog here. Juno came back tired and happy, he will definitely come back again!
Seemed like a nice place. Pricey and they don't allow you to pick up your pets on Sundays or Stat holidays, no exceptions. Therefore we had to keep our dogs there 2 extra days and take a day off work to drive 2 hours each way to get them on a weekday.
Best kennel by far! Amazing staff. It's clear they all love the dogs in their care. Would give 10 stars if possible. Highly recommend.
Incredible kennel filled with great people. They treat our dogs with love (we have big dogs).
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I fail to understand how these guys have good google rating ( could be a lot of fake ones )but i think this location specifically should not be operating at all. I booked grooming for my two dogs and this was my first time with them. I have two labs ( same litter) and they are very friendly and happy dogs. Anyway when I reached there , and had my dogs checked in, they were really uncomfortable with the lady handling them. I had their leash on and offered help but she denied. She put another leash on one my dogs and wanted to take her in, but my dog won’t move. Obviously they were stressed , so the lady tried to literally drag her almost choking on of my dogs. WAAAAOWWW. My poor dog would not move and was simply frozen. I literally wanted that lady to feel the same for what my dog was feeling after being dragged like a dead animal. How someone can be so heartless. My dogs go to other places ( pawsh dog etc)and especially my vet and they never ever behave like this, so may be the picked up the vibe of this place and lady who was handling them. We left without taking any services and they lost atleast $300 in business from me. Well regardless of the fact, I would never ever recommend anyone to visit these guys for grooming or any other services( not sure about their daycare). In the end I was told , before leaving, that I should start giving my dogs CBD so that they can stay calm. They never barked , nor were misbehaved , they were just stressed out may be. But again this was the worst experience. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS AND HEARTLESS PEOPLE.
Staff here were INCREDIBLE!! We did the board and stay with the doggy daycare during the day. From the moment we called they were so nice, told us everything we needed to know, answered all our questions. When we arrived they were awesome as we checked in. We called a couple times to check on our pup and they told us right away how she was doing. The facility was very clean, well organized and they really went above and beyond with a puppy report card and even washing and drying the blankets we sent with. And the fact that they upload pics of the dogs on their social media 12/10!! So appreciated!
The first picture shows my dogs as they were before, the second and third pictures are what I want and what I showed them, and the other pictures show what I got, the small dog shaved bald in places, the bigger dog has several cuts. I really wonder how they get so many good reviews. and I heard that they charged an extra 25 bucks, 10 for the hair knot, 15 for the dog bite. The knotted hair is completely shaved and not combed away, why charge extra? Yuki never bite anyone. What did they do to her?
They were AWESOME! Needed to leave my pup so I could go see a bombers game (we were passing through and had no other options). We went in first an assessment and we were good to go. They are open 24h so i could pick up my pup when it was convenient: after the game or the next day. Excellent service! Many thanks!
We visited this location with our Pup. It's the third visit to a Happy Tails location. I have to say staff are so friendly at both locations. This one and St Anne's. Your furbabies are well taken care of and Happy. They post pictures on Facebook and IG showing off your dog and all the fun they had. We did Power hour last night. $15 for 90mins and our Dog came out Happy as can be and drained from all the fun. Thank you Happy Tails for being there so our pups can get some social skills. After all Humans can't teach Dogs to be Dogs. They need other Dogs.
Very friendly staff nice location on the outskirts of town lots of space. He was very happy when we picked him up and he smelled great after his bath and tidy.
My dog was groomed here earlier this month. When my husband picked him up he was limping. The groomer cut my dog's nail to short. I called to let them know and I didn't get an apology and no responsibility was taken. I had to take my dog to the vet because he has an exposed nail quick and he is now on antibiotics and pain medication. I emailed to let them know that my dog had to be taken to the vet because of the groomers carelessness. Nadeen emailed me back and said she tried to reach out when she heard which is a flat out lie she did not, and she said the vet bill would not be covered. I can get passed not covering the vet bill even though it's their fault, but STILL NO APOLOGY even after I showed them the picture of my dogs nail. Well I'll post it on here so your company can finally take responsibility, and the public can see how you really treat your customers and their pets!
My 6 month old Sheepadoodle, Waylon spent the day at Happy Tails on Feb 11. Check in was quick, the staff were professional, caring and answered all my questions. I called mid way through the day to see how he was doing and they were happy to provide me with his progress. I was provided with a report card of providing me with staff's observations of Waylon's day. They keep the small dogs separate from the big dogs and they have an area outside for some outside time play and shenanigans. The staff show true compassion towards dogs and that made me feel confident that I was leaving Waylon in very capable hands. I would highly recommend Happy Tails Pet Resort & Spa. Bee
5 stars simply not enough for this great pet care facility and its amazing staff. They came to our rescue on short notice when we needed help and took in our two dogs for boarding and daycare (who were much happier with them than stuck in a hotel with us). The walk-in service is just a lifesaver for those times where you are just stuck, and they post constant photos of your pets having the time of their lives with them and all their new friends. Simply incredible. Highly recommend.
We took our 6 month old Spanish Water Dog here for her first full groom and it was an excellent experience. We had a few breed specific requests, and the staff were super accommodating and friendly, even reading up on SWDs before we arrived. We were very happy with the groom and the included day care. We will be back!
On short notice we were able to get very friendly and competent care for our senior cat. We are repeat customers and look forward to booking again for our next away time, knowing that our fur baby is in great hands!
Steve is an absolute angel. I love traveling but I have a LOT of anxiety about leaving my cats and knowing that someone very reliable, who cherishes them as much as we do, is looking after them makes it much easier. Hearing about their day and seeing photos of them helps keep us connected no matter where we are in the world. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend! If you need a pet sitter, I can guarantee you won't find anyone better than Steve.
Purrfect Neighbour was exactly the pet-sitting service we needed during our recent vacation. Stephen from Purrfect Neighbour met our senior cat and we instantly felt comfortable with his calm and knowledgeable approach. He asked great questions to learn about our cat's needs and what we wanted/expected in a pet sitter. As this was our first time having someone other than family look after our cat, we opted for daily check-ins while we were away. Stephen provided detailed reports and videos. We were very pleased with how happy and relaxed our cat seemed. This was confirmed when we returned to a very calm and clearly well-cared-for animal. We will definitely use Purrfect Neighbour again and highly recommend them.
This was our first time using a pet sitter in Winnipeg and we were extremely happy with the service. Steve was great. He took great care of our 2 cats and sent very thorough updates with lots of pictures. We will definitely book with him next time we're away.
I have used many pet-sitting services over the years, and this one is by far the best! They play with the cats, send you updates and plenty of photos. My fur-kids were calm and happy when I returned, not frazzled or freaked out at all.
We have always taken the cats to a boarding kennel we have travelled, but we have found as they get older they aren't so keen to leave the house. When we were planning for this winter's holiday, I started looking at options for pet sitting. After looking at the services provided by several different companies, I settled on Purrfect Neighbour because the visit plans they offered matched what we wanted. I spoke to Stephen first by phone, and then met him in person when he came over to pick up the keys. We were comfortable with him and his approach to our cat right from the start. He took an immediate interest in Shadow (our last remaining cat) and we knew that she would be in good hands while we were away. Stephen visited Shadow every 2nd day while we were gone, and we came to look forward to the detailed and enthusiastic emails and pictures he sent from his visits. He was diligent and reliable in dealing with feed, water, and cleaning the litter box, and he also enjoyed playing with Shadow and giving her some much-needed attention while we were gone. We were very impressed with Stephen and the service he provided, and we will definitely use him again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a compassionate and reliable petsitter for your next vacation.
Highly recommend this company for pet sitting. Stephen did an incredible job taking care of our Bengal cat Pacho. I never felt more comfortable leaving him before. He sent regular updates, videos and pictures. Felt like we didn’t miss a thing!
Steve is entirely deserving of every 5 star review. He provides friendly, diligent, punctual, and attentive care for my animals and has proven so much more professional than other pet sitters I've encountered. Top notch and highly recommended!
If you are looking for the best possible care for your beloved animal companion, you have found it here. Steve and Purrfect Neighbour has changed my life in terms of ease of mind when i travel now. I no longer worry about my beloved cat who has struggled with separation anxiety. The care and service I received was AMAZING. I cannot praise enough about it!!! If I could give more stars I would. I was kept updated with beautiful photos and detailed and caring daily reports. I came home to a cat who was happy and not mad at me and just her usual best self!!! Please book them for all your needs. As I have said to Steve...my Alice and I are grateful clients and friends of Purrfect Neighbour for life. Thanks again.
Completely reliable, they take care of my cats almost better than I do! I have no worries when I go away, knowing that Purrfect Neighbour will be there. They are so caring, establishing relationships with my pets and with me, I would never consider trusting anyone else! I cannot recommend them more highly!!
I would like to give heads up that the one review on here from Jenn Orr is false.she signed a contract with my company and in the contract it said that clients will receive only half deposit back which I offered her credit for the other half and she did not want to take it.she gave me no notice she cancelled. I do ask a non refundable deposit to secure the people spots. I run a license bonded and insured company and I’m professional and I treat clients and there pets with respect.the accusation that she made is false and very ignorant.I have contact her and told her to remove this false review.i have also reported her to Google about this false review. Debbie, owner of K9,kitties & kritters Pet Sitting.
I've known the owner of K9's Kitties & Kritters Pet Sitting since we needed her services while on holiday 15 years ago, and have since been looking after our pets when ever we need her. Even the cat who doesn't like strangers in his house, loves her. She is good with our cats, dogs, parrot & fish and I know everyone will be in great hands while we are away.
Very kind lady looked after our home while travelling our pets were so happy and well looked after thank you:)
My dogs.love when Debbie comes over. I have been using K9 for over two years and I can say that my dogs have been well cared for every visit.
She asked for %100 of the money up front, then refused to refund it when the trip was cancelled (due to a major storm).
It was great to have someone reliable and secure looking after our home and loved ones thank youon
Very rude when called on the phone.
Fantastic service. Well priced and my dog loves it.
Dazzling Dawg is a great place to take your dog when going away on a holiday. They have personal care and other dogs to play with. The great plus is that there is a safe area outdoors where dogs can run around and enjoy the fresh air. We always trust our dog here.
Shes awesome with my little dog. Couldn't be happier with each time she goes. My dog looks forward to seeing Haille!
Amazing place, knowledgable owner that really cares and goes the extra mile.
This is the only place I would ever consider taking my dogs.
Excellent service Clean facilities Laid back environment
Wonderful dog care.
gud
Carla has been s life saver for us over the past few years. We have worked in several locations in northern Manitoba and she has always been there for us to pick us up or drop us off at the airport(s)with our pups. Our Goberian with her kennel is too large for the winnipeg taxis and they won’t take dogs their taxis. I only hope they have someone like Carla thats goes out of her way in Saskatchewan because that is the next province we are working in.
We have hired Carla several times over the past couple of years for dog walking services and in home dog/house sitting services and have been completely satisfied with her services every time. She genuinely loves our dogs despite their quirks and craziness :) She is friendly and responsive, very reasonably priced, very flexible, sends regular photos and updates while we are away, goes above and beyond to take great care of the dogs and leaves our home as clean (or cleaner) then we left it. The first time we hired her for in home dog/pet sitting services last year was the first vacation we have gone on it years where I did not worry once about our dogs. I would highly recommend Carla!
I hired Carla for an overnight in my home this winter. The agreement was that she’d feed my cats and dogs, walk my dogs and leave at a certain time the following day. Not only did Carla leave 3+ hours earlier than was agreed upon, not only did she give me less than 24 hours notice that she was refusing to do the dog walk (it was too “cold” and it was her never-before-heard-of policy for the “safety of the dogs”), not only did she fed the food I’d pre-prepared to the wrong cats, not only did she leave dirty dishes she’d used for me to wash, Carla walked (she agreed to do it after I told her how mad I was) my two small, shorthair dachshunds in -22 weather WITHOUT THEIR WINTER SWEATERS. I’d made a point of showing her where the sweaters were kept and which belonged to which dog not 4 days prior and she simply ignored my instructions and put my two little dogs health and safety at risk. I was absolutely appalled by how Carla cared for my pets and the excuses she made to “explain” her terrible service. I wouldn’t let her look after a dead goldfish, much less animals I loved.
Carla was able to pick us up early and drive us to the airport before going to work herself! She was prompt, very professional and courteous! We look forward to using your services in the future! Thank you!
We hired Carla to transport our dog and us from the airport to temporary accommodations. Carla was professional, reliable, and responsive. It was a pleasure to arrive after a long transatlantic flight to have a friendly face to take us where we needed to go.
Good service and good people and are great friends of my FUR BUDDIES.
