Left our new puppy with the Gibson's for a short stay and he made best friends with their daughter before we'd even left which made our trip more relaxing as he was definitely very happy to stay. (I'm quite sure he didn't want to come home.) We were very relieved to see him so happy before we left. Will be booking their service quite often I think. Thoroughly recommend their service.

Fantastic. Our dogs 1st stay away from us. Chris and Joanne don’t just look after your pet they make it part of their family. We were nervous leaving her but I’m not sure she wanted to come home. We left our precious little girl in the hands of Chris, Joanna and Ashley for a couple of nights recently. They welcomed her into their home and treated her as if she was one of the family. They walked her around the local area and even took her with them when visiting their local town where she received lots of attention from passers by. Chris and Joanna kept us updated on how she had settled when we enquired.We would not hesitate to use them in the future for our boarding needs. Highly recommend. First full day at Gibsons Dog Boarding for our 4 month old puppy Lily today. Chris, Joanne and Ashley were amazing with her. Lily was excited to go there and was chilled and happy when we went to collect her too. They have created a great bond already, and the care is excellent as its clear Lily already loves them. Our dog has just come back from her second stay at Gibsons, and we're really happy with the care she's had. It's always difficult leaving your dog somewhere new, but Chris and Joanne were really friendly and put us at ease straight away. Chris and Joanne are very welcoming and our dogs felt at home straight away. They stayed for doggie day care and I liked the fact that they only took our dogs, so not with any other dogs. Gibsons boarding is in rural area so very little traffic with an abundance of open areas, including forest walks. We would definitely use again and would highly recommend them.

Chris looked after my dog for the day while we were down on holiday so we could visit a local farm park. He was so well looked after and has come back a tired and happy dog.. maybe a little too happy.. we arrived to pick our dog up and he went straight back inside as if he was right at home. Thank you so much, will definitely be in contact should we be down this way again.

Lovely family, very professional and the place is a great environment for the dog. Our dog was well loved and well taken care of and it showed. All my questions were answered and payment is also straight forward. I have just re-booked for our next holiday and will use them every other time. I would highly recommend them!

Andrea has been house sitting and looking after my 2 pups for holidays for a couple of years . They now go to her house and they clearly love going. They are spoilt rotten, have the best walks and full run of the massive garden there. Andrea sends me photos and videos every day meaning I can relax knowing they are happy and chilled. ( see below 😊) I wouldn’t send them anywhere else now so book my holidays around her availability.

Andrea is amazing with Sonny, he is shattered after every day out walking with her - in the very best happy dog way! She sends so many videos of him having an absolute blast with his doggy friends. Different locations to mix it up for every dog, her routes are so thoughtful and varied for the dogs to experience seaside/forest/marshland and a really good life while I'm stuck at work basically!! Plenty of enrichment both outside and inside. Great to be able to board Sonny whether for one night or longer I know he is in great hands with Andrea. Can't recommend enough for both dog walking and boarding. Sonny loves his sleepovers with his little bff Vinnie. Reading his note like a report card about his day and the adventures they had brings me so much joy! Andrea is amazing to look after Sonny, and in Carlisle, I wouldn't board him with anyone else - like others have said, I book holidays around her availability.

Andrea was recommended to me by my previous Dog Walker. Professional and caring right from the start Andrea came and met him and I’ve never looked back. Rio loves his walks with her 4 days a week and the peace of mind knowing he is so well looked after is priceless. Andrea is a life saver ! And our dogs love their time out with her and the other dogs. It’s great that our dogs can have fun socialising with other dogs and get plenty of exercise. Andrea understands the varying characters and needs and is always prompt and gives us updates and photos on every occasion. Even on the wettest days Andrea is always there with a smile and a bundle of energy. We totally trust her with our dogs and couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

My two whippets stayed with Andrea for over a week,visited her the week before,she was lovely with them,so was Mark her husband,on the day I dropped them off,all very smooth,all my questions were answered,her house is very dog friendly and the garden is lovely and big,all through the holiday I was sent videos,really put my mind at ease,all the paperwork was done online,Andrea is extremely organised with everything,I wouldn’t go anywhere else now,walked every day,I would trust her with my girls 100%, they settled in really quickly and were given lots of cuddles throughout,cannot recommend her enough

Andrea is great with the dogs and they love us going away so that they can have Andrea look after them, taking them for long walks on the beach. Would highly recommend.

Andrea has taken care of our cat for the past 7 months and she takes great care of him. She sends us pictures, our cat trusts her, and she leaves the house in a great state. Would not use anyone else.

My dog Rosie has attended DDD since she was around 4 months old. It was a brilliant place for her to socialise as a puppy. Now age 2 she still goes twice per week and for occasional over night stays. Mark and Sindy are very reliable and nothing is too much trouble. I always feel reassured that Rosie is safe and well cared for and she is always happy to go which tells me she she enjoys her time there. I would highly recommend DDD for anyone looking for doggy daycare.

Highly Recommend Dumfries Doggie Daycare, we decided to try our Mini Schnauzer with Mark & Sindy as he didn't interact very much with other dogs, didn't play with toys etc & just over excited by other dogs, he is a different dog now, toys, toys, toys & plays well with others. Professional service, completely relaxed leaving our Woody with them.

Our dog hates kennels, but loves Dumfries Doggy Daycare. It is a great weight off our minds on holiday knowing she is so well looked after. There is lots for her to do in the garden and places inside for a bit of peace and quiet. We also get regular photos and updates to see how settled she is.

My miniature schnauzer loves going to Dumfries Doggy Day Care. He loves Mark and Cindy and the opportunities he gets there to socialise with other dogs. The outside area is large and has lots of equipment that provides stimulation for the dogs and a warm comfortable inside area for relaxing or wet days! As an owner I find Mark and Cindy very approachable and accomodating to any requests out of my usual pattern. I would highly recommend their service if you are considering day care for your dog!

We used Dumfries Doggy Daycare for our two Sprocker Spaniel pups until they were old enough and mature enough to be left for longer periods on their own. We also used their stayover service which was fab too. It was great for puppy socialising, learning skills and was like home from home! They loved it. Sindy and Mark were great at giving us regular updates too. We were able to go to work knowing that they were being looked after so well. We would recommend Dumfries Doggy Daycare to anyone looking for doggy care, genuine peace of mind that their furry friends are being looked after well, and for those looking for the best start for their pups.

For anyone looking for a home from home for their beloved pups - look no further! Sindy, Mark & their own pups are the friendliest bunch. They welcomed our cocker spaniel Steve with love and lots of attention. Steve runs into Dumfries Doggy daycare every time we go - we can just tell he is well looked after and stimulated. He is one happy exhausted Pooch when he comes home. The other dogs are friendly and the team do a great job of vetting owners, and meeting/integrating new dogs Steve with their pack. They really took the time to get to know us and our dog. We couldn’t recommend them more highly - just a fantastic and what are you waiting for?!

Our Dachshund pup Otto has been going to Mark and Sindy since August and he absolutely loves it. They take such great care of him and I am so confident he is being properly looked after. Mark and Sindy are very professional about their work and passionate about what they do.

Tried a few other places within the town and the surrounding area before coming here. They look after our dog once a week and she knows when she is to go as she waits by our front door on drop off day. She runs down the road to their premises which is a good sign! The overnight service is great too, the dog stays in the house with them so I know she is safe, warm and happy. Best place in town by far.

Great environment for dogs, our pug is ways excited to go to Doggie Daycare and always comes away super tired from all the fun she's had. Highly recommend!

Lola has been going to Dumfries doggie day care for a few weeks now, absolutely great service Mark and Sindy provide excellent care and attention to each dogs individual needs would highly recommend them to anyone looking for daycare or boarding it really is all about the dogs .Lola loves it.

My little Bichon has never been as relaxed with any groomer as she is with Laura. Laura sincerely loves animals and I think the dogs pick that up. Excellent professional grooming and a happy dog at a fair price - what more could you want?

I have been taking my spaniel to Laura for a good few years now. She is wonderful with him, being a nervous and unhelpful dog. She is very caring, thorough and always happy to chat. Laura is very accommodating if I’m running late to collect and will always do her best to provide an appointment if I’ve left it late to book. Fabulous service guaranteed 😊

The best dog groomers I've used for my dogs. My first dog was stranger reactive and Laura didn't rush and made my dog feel comfortably and safe. My other dog has been from when she was a hyper puppy and 1/2 husky so needs a good de-shed, she always comes home smelling amazing and like a fluffy teddy. I've never met someone before who has so much love and time for animals. Would a million percent recommend Laura, she does a brilliant job especially when it's just her!

Laura is the most amazing groomer, very professional, gives great advise & our dogs love her. I wouldn’t send them anywhere else as I have total confidence in Laura. She’s simply the best.

Absolutely fantastic kennels, highly recommended. We used them for one night for our 13 year old little JRT Minnie when we got married in July. We were unsure how she would find it as she is a rescue and had not been in kennels in the 4 1/2 years we’ve had her. We arranged a visit before her stay over so she could check out the place and give us peace of mind on our big day. Rachelle was so welcoming and reassuring on our visit that we had no worries about Minnie going to stay. We were able to see where she would board as well as dogs currently boarding and how happy and content they were, as well as the little touches like a radio to make it feel homely. I received a photo to show how Minnie was settling in just before walking down the aisle which made my day. The real proof of how content Minnie had been when we picked her up was to see that she didn’t rush straight to the car when we arrived but happily walked around the yard - that really showed how happy she had been. We can thank them enough.

I can't recommend these kennels enough. I left my very lively 2 year old visla there for 2 nights. She came back really happy and clearly well exercised. The owners clearly have a fantastic understanding of dogs and kept me informed throughout the stay. I will definitely be using these kennels again and would highly recommend them.

The boy came home happy and talking to us after we left him at la toque kennels for a week. Rachel sent us regular pupdates which eased any anxiety we may have. Really would recommend and will be using again.

My two labradors have just had a 15 day stay with Kevin & Louise. They left the kennels as happy as they went in and were very obviously well looked after and in good condition. It was clear that they had formed a bond as they were running between myself and Kevin when leaving. I'm very happy with the service provided by them both and will most certainly be back again. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of boarding our 10 month cockerpoo, Alvin, at Lough House Boarding Kennels, run by the wonderful Kevin and Louise. From the moment we arrived, we knew Alvin was in excellent hands. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and designed with the dogs’ comfort and happiness in mind. Kevin and Louise’s took the time to get to know Alvin, ensuring his specific needs were met. Their genuine care and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and reassuring for both Alvin and ourselves. During Alvin’s stay, we received updates from Kevin & Louise which put our minds at ease - It was clear he was having a fantastic time, making new friends and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. When we picked him up, he was happy, healthy, and had clearly been well-loved by the team. I would highly recommend Lough House Boarding Kennels. Kevin, Louise & Lisa go above and beyond to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for all dogs. Alvin will definitely be returning for future stays.

I would highly recommend Kevin and Louise at Lough House kennels. They were friendly and informative and most of they really took good care of our dog in July, who loved the attention and enclosed field to run freely and safely.

Used Lough House for the first time this weekend, was really impressed. The first thing Kevin did was take me round to see the place. He had a good rapport with the dogs, the kennels were very clean. The outdoor paddock was a lovely area for them to kick their heels (Lu is a big girl LOL). When I picked her up she was happy, clean and didn't have that weird kennel smell. Was happy to book her next stay.

Left my 2 border terriers Friday morning until Monday morning, with these guys, first time we have used them, but it won't be the last. Dog's came back happy, and very clean. Slept most of Monday so proven they had plenty exercise. See you November, thanks very much both. Regards Denis

I have used these kennels twice now and our dog Millie is due to go again in a couple of weeks. When we drop her off she gets so excited and can't wait to get in and see Kevin which to me says it all! Both Kevin and Louise can't do enough to help they are lovely people and you can tell that they genuinely care. I honestly wouldn't take Millie anywhere else. You can tell she has been well looked after when she comes out (not smelly, no weight loss, same condition as when dropped off) Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've used Lough House Kennels for years, most recently just the other week. Our dogs come back smelling lovely (they never have that nasty kennel smell) they come back so well groomed too. But the bit that confirms how wonderful Kevin and Louise are is that when we walk our dogs near the kennels and bump into Louise or Kevin our dogs are so excited to see them. To me that speaks volumes! Kevin and Louise clearly love their job and it shows in the care they give our dogs. Can not recommend Lough House Kennels enough.

Visited to view before boarding our dogs in October. Great setting and staff seem very attentive and helpful. Facilities are suitable, well maintained, and in good order. Dogs there, appeared to be in good spirits and well cared for. Looking forward to my 2 going in there later this year.

we used these kennels a few times and it is so clean and the dogs are so well looked after- like they are their own pets!. we went for look around before we booked and Kevin talked us through everything, e.g the exercise times (which seems to be more than other kennels we found) and the different food options etc. with our dog being quite young when we first put him in this was total peace of mind, unfortunately we lost our little dog (1 yr old) and because we had booked some dates, we let them know and received the most thoughtful card from them in the post which was absolutely lovely. when we get another dog we wont even consider going any where else. 100% recommend!

We placed our 11 month old Bouvier des Flandres in Lough House recently - I was very worried as he has never been away from us, let alone to a boarding kennel, but he came back to us the same bouncy, exuberant lad we checked in! He even ran up to Kevin for a last cuddle before we took him home! He's a high maintenance dog, grooming wise, and I was worried he may come back matted, even with the best of care, but Kevin had done a great job of keeping on top of his high demand shaggy coat. I would certainly recommend Lough House.

I am so thankful I found this place for my cat. The owners are so nice, they really love cats and it shows in the care they gave to all animals, the cleanliness of the place and how spacious the pens are. They were very helpful, I had to go for week during a last minute family emergency and they were able to find space for my cat. I was pretty nervous about leaving my cat because he had never been in a pet hotel before but OMG when I came back to pick him up he looked so relaxed and happy, I am sure he had a great time there. For sure I will bring my cat to this place again!

Really nice clean pens both in and outside. Friendly owners who obviously adore the cats and small animals in their care . By far the best cattery in the Dumfries area . Superbly clean and safe for your cat , nice pens each with an outdoor area. Very well cared for with every animal receiving individual attention. The only problem is they might not want to go home after their visit !

Our bunny brier rabbit had a lovely wee holiday here well looked after and we felt the love back on collecting our wee bunny he is a bundle of joy and we will definitely be using brambles pet hotel again and again .thanks for looking after him x

Excellent transport and assistance provided by Michael for my first ever dog! He drove from Sheffield to Canterbury, stopping off at two service stations so my dog could exercise and make some mess! The car used was very smart and comfortable.

I have had the most amazing trip to pick my puppy stray up from Zante and drive all the way back to Yorkshire. My driver/courier, Norman was fantastic. The whole process went smoothly, safely and was a trip of a lifetime. They organised every last detail to ensure the dog and myself were comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommend this fantastic company. Expensive but SO well worth it. Thank you.

I travelled with my dog from Sweden to Wales. They were very professional and organised and even remembered our names when we would call. No issues with booking etc. Were given plenty of information and contacted by the driver days before which was reassuring. He arrived in a branded van and clothes which reassured me (I am a young woman) and was very professional throughout. The van was clean and well equipped for transporting my dog and we took regular breaks around every 4 hours. Well worth the money and would definitely use c four paws again. Thanks/Diolch!

We had Milo collect from London on Sunday with two cages and a carry cage and lots of toys. Milo was perfectly happy and items were in good order. Collected on time and delivered on time. Excellent service and driver was very nice. Highly recommended for animal transport. Will definitely use again if the need arises. Good job thank you

Calagran Four Paws and my driver Will were absolutely amazing at handling our cross country transport for a long distance move. Having a rather large Staffy x Old Tyme, who had sadly had to be exempted due to her size, I was even terrified to take her on the road in anything other than proper transport. And with it being such a long way I wanted a safe long distance option also for all round safety and comfort. Our needs were catered for with the upmost care and Will was absolutely amazing with my nervousness and with my lovely girls nervy nature. I couldn't have been happier and I plan to travel with them again. I can highly recommend them.

I highly recommend this company. I just endured an incredibly stressful and long importation process into Europe and finally into the UK with my 3 med/large breed dogs. CFourPaws went above and beyond to help me logistically with things they really didn't have to and was outside of their services. Provided much needed emotional support and were empathetic to my unforeseen financial costs. Really without people like Keith and Greig, I may have crumbled under the stress of it all. In a medical emergency you were the first kennels we found after literally 100's of phone calls with spare capacity to take Casper while his mum had an emergency operation to remove a brain tumour. The 10x photo's you sent us showing him happy & thoroughly enjoying a run in the secure field were a huge relief to his dad & a massive boost to his mum's immediate recovery.

We recently used C Four Paws to transport our dog Adi from Glasgow to Heathrow for her trip home to Canada. David was a very kind and professional driver and got us to the Kennel at Heathrow on time in spite of some unavoidable traffic delays along the way. We’re back home with Adeline safe and sound and are very grateful for having used the services of your company and David for the first leg of our trip.

An absolute lifesaver when it came to transporting me and my cats from Dublin to Somerset. There was fantastic communication the entire time during the booking process and our driver Clive was incredible! They made what was a very stressful move for me and my cats, a very easy time and I cannot thank Clive and the whole team enough.
