Jenny and James do home visits for our puppy, feeding, playing and cuddling. We get updates and photos/videos straight after which is so lovely. He has now started visiting the bus for when he's big enough for the walks. Great service and genuinely lovely people.

Pickle & Co are a fantastic pet care business that really gives you peace of mind while you're away from your beloved pets. We had great communication and updates, and even photos and videos so that we could see how happy Lola was, lots of purrs and head bumps. We will definitely use Pickle & Co for all our trips.

Pickle & Co Pet Care were recommended to me by a friend when I needed someone to look after my two crazy Ragdolls when I went away for the weekend. I could not recommend them enough. Fully DBS checked and qualified in pet first aid, Jenny is lovely and made me feel assured my pampered felines would be well looked after, and they were. I found Jen and James through my dog groomer’s, she highly recommended them. My doggie's have just started their walks with Jen and James. They are a little bit nervous, so I was delighted to see pictures of them looking so happy and playing with the other dogs. When I started a new full time job my main worry was who to trust with taking Teddy a daily walk. On meeting Jenny I was instantly put at ease with her love and knowledge of animals. Jenny took time to find out more about the likes and dislikes of our fur baby but also my anxieties. Teddy is walked daily and he loves his walks with Jenny and James. Teddy gets excited when he is collected so he can join his new pup friends on their daily walk adventures. I also love the photos being shared of his walks. I am so glad I found Pickle and Co Pet Care and I cannot recommend them enough and Teddy agrees!

I started using Pickle & Co around 2 years ago with my other dog. I now use them for my new puppy, Winnie. The favourite part of my day is seeing the Instagram updates of Winnie playing with her friends. I'm a teacher and started using the service as I didn't want Winnie on her own for too many hours - I don't necessarily need the service now, but I would never stop using them, as the service is absolutely outstanding and seeing Winnie so happy is priceless. As a company, Jenny & James go the extra mile. Any requests or details are accommodated when possible, the pic/ vid updates are great, communication is always perfect and they're both generally honest, reliable and amazing people. I'm so happy to have found them and very grateful for them as a company and now, friends. The pair of them have such love for all animals, it's not just a business. It's more than that. I said this before, but if I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I really would.

Madi has looked after our dog, Milo, a couple of times now and she is fantastic! Milo absolutely loves staying with her, Meeko and Yuna. I feel Milo is in very safe hands when we drop him off and we always get lots of updates showing what they have all been up to. I would 100% recommend The Little Dog Lodge, and Madi, to anyone looking to have peace of mind for when they go away and have to leave their dog behind. I can guarantee your dog will be having a wonderful time in a loving, safe environment.

Being a pet owner comes with a degree of responsibility; being there 24/7 for your pet is not always possible especially with a young family and busy work schedules. Leaving a member of your family with someone else can be concern but from the moment we left Pepper with Little Dog Lodge we knew that we had made the right choice. Madi ensures we have plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. She is looked after in a lovely home environment, which is safe and secure for dogs. We wouldn’t leave her with anyone else!

We dropped off our doggys on Friday 26th April. when we went to pick them up the following day they didn't want to leave without doubt there had a wonderful time .maddison always give them plenty of attention lovely walks next to the house they is a lovely woodland and great paths for the dog walks. Maddison took pictures of our dogs and sent them to us so we could see they had settled well. this is our second time we have used maddison we wouldn't use anyone else we highly recommend maddison she's professional in her work and has real joy in what she does. we will definitely use her again.

I have no hesitation in recommending Maddie. Our dog loves staying with her. I know he is safe and well looked after.

Madi looked after our dog Whiskey while we were away. He was treated like a family in a lovely home environment and came back playful and healthy. Madi also kept us updated every day. Very happy.

I have sent my puppy Buddy (almost 10 months) to Simon & Leah twice for home boarding & am really happy with the service they provide. My dog is a lab & at times can be hard work as he is still young and in training, Simon & Leah are great with him, follow his daily schedule best they can & know exactly how to cater for his needs. Their dog Koda is great with Buddy, they go on walks by the beach & he always comes home super sleepy after having so much fun. I feel really comfortable leaving him with them & will continue to use them going forward! Thank you

From the moment we met Simon and Leah we knew we were putting our puppy in safe hands. Betsy was a 6 month old Newfoundland with an abundance of energy like all puppies do. Simon and Leah’s calming dedicated nature immediately put our minds at rest. Betsy attends daily walks and once a week day care. Because of the lock down we were unable to socialise Betsy in the normal manner so her interaction with other dogs when with Simon and Leah has become invaluable and her confidence and recall have improved immensely. Betsy now waits by the door each morning ready for them to arrive. I feel blessed to have found Simon and Leah and I can’t thank them enough for the love and care they give Betsy every day.

They walked my dog he loved his walks with we love pets, there service and quality is fantastic timing excellent l would very highly recommend they are now doing house sitting ect l love the fact when you go to them you have peace of mind and can fell your animal will be safe in there hands and the staff are very kind and caring X

Simon and Leah are amazing. They came to visit us at home with our dog and took the time to get to know her needs and quirks. It was obvious they had a very calming effect on her and she took to them quickly. She has the best day when she goes to stay with them at doggy day care. So much so that I'm worried she won't want to come back one day. Highly recommend!

Simon and Leah are amazing! They are truly passionate about what they do and are so caring and so so helpful, often at short notice. They are super reliable and dependable and very professional. My Husksy absolutely loves them both and they are so kind to her.. she gets taken on some lovely walks and has been so calm and well behaved since they have been walking her. Simon, Leah and their team of fab dog walkers are simply brilliant! I can rest assured that my dog is safe and getting good exercise/socialisation. Good communication, value for money, trustworthy and reliable. I've relied on Simon and Leah for dog sitting too - a home from home for my dog. They've gone out of their way to help pick up and drop off, as a non-driver, and haven't ever charged extra for this! Lovely folks who really do love pets! :)

I didn't know Simon and Leah before they started boarding my dog for me. Simon and Leah are completely professional, before starting regular boarding for me, they met with me to discuss, what I needed when I needed it and discussed in detail about my dog and her needs. She always looks forward to seeing them! I do drive to Colchester for home boarding but I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my dog. Friendly, reliable and caring!

When I met Simon and Leah I knew they were the right people to trust with my doggo. For the last month Diego has had a 1 hour weekly morning walk with them. I pay 1 month up front and it's really reasonably priced. Diego is so excited to see Simon on a Wednesday morning and comes back a happy and well exercised boy! We have been so so impressed with the level of service we have received for our two spaniels from We Love Pets Colchester. They are so flexible and our pups absolutely love their visits from Maria! The photos and videos always bring a smile to our face, and we would highly recommend to other pet owners. We now have two very happy pups whilst we’re out at work!

I have been using Steve for several years now and trust him completely with my 2 cats. I wouldn’t use anyone else! Steve has a natural affinity with animals and has spent ages getting my rescue cats to feel comfortable with him. Nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend.

We have been using Adored Animals Hospitality for a number of years now and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Steve and his team have always provided a 5 star service when looking after both our dog Monty (who absolutely adores Steve) and our cats who are always happy when they’re visited to be fussed, fed & watered. Our dogs were very well looked after by Steve and Lottie while we were away. The home sitting was great and minimised disruption for the dogs. Steve is always very friendly and reliable, and we would highly recommend his services.

I can't speak highly enough of AAH, Stephen's passion for all animals is evident in his enthusiasm for offering a really great service ranging from popping in to feed your pet to arranging for his carefully vetted hosts to care for your friend if you're away. We used Hilltop for the first time this weekend for our two 10 month old very energetic pups. I am so impressed with the professionalism and kind care they gave to our pups. From the beginning they were absolutely brilliant. They listened to all my concerns with leaving my pups and discussed them when I dropped them off. Picking them up they both came out very happy and smelt lovely too, they had lovely walks and lots of cuddles from the staff 🥰. Second time using hilltop and wouldn't use anywhere else. Very friendly and my girlies seem to be very happy here. On pick up they come back healthy and well cared for and they even gave them both a wash and shampoo so they didn't come home smelling of kennels. One of my girls had an upset tummy the day before collecting they adapted her food to help settle it and told me about this for awareness. Womt put my girls anywhere else.

I have recently started buying my raw food from here. Sam and Simon are very knowledgeable and offered great advice about putting my Spaniel onto raw to try and stop his itchy skin. Would highly recommend.

My beautiful kitty boarded here, while we were away they sent photos. Spotlessly clean, very well organised and extremely friendly and helpful.

Our boy Reggie (GSD) loves his time at Hilltop. It quite often feels like he’s having his own holiday, when we have ours. Reggie can be a very nervous dog, more so around men, in his first stay, Hilltop accommodated that a girl needed to take him in. But later in the day, the owner Simon, went into Reggie’s kennel and took the time to let Reggie become comfortable with him, which meant so much to us. The girls love him and spoil him with kisses & cuddles which I love. Hilltop always do their best to accommodation bookings etc and we always grateful for that. We have tried lots of different kennels but always come back to Hilltop, even though it is a 4hr drive from our house since we moved. We trust them with our boy & they listen to our concerns or what we want such as feeding requirements, cuddles, pictures, and no shampoo washing etc and are more than happy to do so. Thank you Hilltop for looking after our boy! We also use Hilltop food 🦴🐾🐕🐶

My first choice to leave the dog when I have to go away. Friendly staff and my dog always comes back happy if rather horse and is eager to return when I drop her off again

We used Hilltop for the first time, our two dogs had never boarded previously and have been pampered over the years. The staff were just brilliant and knowledgeable, they treat your pets as if they are their own. They even shared some pics with us whilst we were away. Will definitely use the doggy Hotel when we next need too!

Our 2 rescue dogs have stayed at Hilltop Boarding Kennels, several times a year, for many years now. I wouldn't want to have to use anywhere else. They love the staff and never seem to care when we drop them off. Always walk off to the kennels without a backward glance. The staff are so friendly & take such good care of our 2 dogs. They always come home happy & clean, smelling like talcum powder 😊 Thank you for always taking care of our fur babies.

We’ve just recently used Hilltops for two family dogs but boarded separately. Both so well looked after! And both completely different personalities but catered for in every way. It was so nice they could still be socialised but not have to stay together.The update pictures made us feel so relieved and reassured they are having a fab time! Also bathing and washing bedding before collection was such a lovely touch! Staff are so friendly and care so much for all the dogs. Would use again and recommend to anyone!!

I have kenneled my 2 greys at Hilltop twice in the last 6months. The service is excellent friendly and professional. All the staff I've met have been lovely and helpful and clearly love the dogs in their care. I highly recommend Hilltop and the team. 5 Stars!

Jess is taking care of our pup and rabbits when we're away (and babysits our girls from time to time). She's caring, passionate, and responsible. She goes above and beyond to ensure our pup has the best time, taking her on a new adventure every day, and offers the most gentle care to our rabbits. We're lucky to have such a reliable person with our pets when we travel.

Jess has catsat our boy (Thor, British Shorthair) a number of times and we couldn’t recommend her more. Not only does Thor love her; Jess is always more than happy to provide regular updates, is super responsive when making or tweaking arrangements, and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She blends professionalism with friendliness perfectly. Only giving 5 stars because I can’t give 6.

Our Gilly absolutely loves her weekly walks with Laura's Paws! The loce and attention lavished on her is just wonderful - we really do feel that she's loved by Laura and Emma as if she were their own! The update photos are such an added bonus. Can't recommend these wonderful people enough!!!!

Exceptional service each and every visit, we have 4 cats and each one gets individual love, cuddles & attention. They always send amazing photos and updates after each visit too. I would not use anyone else to look after our gang, and I am sure they all look forward to seeing, Emma, Laura or Tasmin and getting all the fuss from them. Would highly recommend contacting them if you want your fur babies loved as much as you love them.

Emma and Tamsin did a wonderful job looking after our two cats while's we were on holiday. Always a worry leaving them, but from the looks of the video updates, twice daily, they had a lovely time!. Im so pleased Laura was available to help with our 3 cats whilst we went on holiday. We got daily photos and updates and the cats seemed really happy with her company. The cats have supplements too which she added to their diet. Would definitely recommend!

Having booked a holiday it was a worry as to getting our 6 cats 2 guinea pigs and parrot looked after.. My friend gave me the contact details of Laura's Paws 🐾 they were outstanding.. Had daily updates with photos of our fur babies 2 visits a day.. All our cats are senior and one need medication.. Laura and Emma were absolutely fantastic and had lots of lovley chilled fur babies when we came home.. We have already booked with them again for later in the year..

I recently booked Laura to care for my dog and cat while I was away for 4 days. While I was away, she sent me pictures and gave regular updates. When we returned my anxious dog was relaxed and happy, as was my cat. I would 100% recommend Laura and would absolutely book her again when the need arises! Fantastic value for money.

We are so thrilled to have found Laura’s Paws and wouldn’t want to leave our dog with anyone else now! Our dog is the type to whine at the door to get back to his beloved home comforts after 3 days on a staycation, so to be able to go away and leave him where he’s happiest is a huge thing for us. We always get plenty of pupdates and are completely relaxed in the knowledge that he’s safe, very well looked after and happy. Not to mention that we always find the house exactly as we left it and they go above and beyond to make sure the little things are done (like the bins!) which is always v appreciated. We’ve used Laura’s Paws for holidays, hourly house calls if we have to be out for the day and walks and they’re always extremely reliable and communicative. Our cockerpoo absolutely loves Laura and gets so excited whenever she sees her.
