Erica watched my senior dog and cat for 12 days while I was traveling internationally. She was organized, responsive, and took excellent care of both my animals and my apartment while I was away. She sent me photos during the stay and my pets absolutely adored her. She has watched my pets before and I always trust her to take excellent care of them. 

Traveling internationally and leaving my pets in the care of a sitter always makes me a little nervous, since I won't always be immediately reachable. However, Erica's communication and obvious competency made me feel very comfortable about leaving my pets in her care while I was away. It's very obvious she adores spending time with the pets and caring for them.

I came home to a clean apartment and very happy and healthy pets. I would highly recommend Erica for any of your sits!

Sue and Richard were greeted enthusiastically by the dogs ! They sent me pics of the dogs having a good time on the beach . Which is always reassuring. I can recommend them as dog sitters and they arrived on time and were packed up when I got back

Anita was a wonderful dog sitter for Balto! They were super tentative, made sure to ask any and all questions before we went away, and they sent the best updates about Balto while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing my dog was in great hands, and I could not recommend Anita enough! Quality care, and our apartment was spotless when we returned home.

Brian was a wonderful sitter for our 11 year old dog and also took great care of our home. He sent me pictures every day and let me know how Macklin was doing which always helps ease my mind. Our home was clean and tidy when we returned and everything in its place. I'd recommend Brian to anyone looking for excellent care by a friendly person!

Brian was great and was my first sitter experience through TH to look after my two little dogs and one of them was a recent rescue I had for a month and learning new things and still training. Brian was good with communication, clear about his travel plans and we managed adjustments to him coming in early by a day. This was helpful for me to feel I can personally give orientation to my home and pets before leaving for a few days. Brian was also good with the hand-off to my next sitter when weather conditions delayed me. I came back to a tidy home and happy pets. Brian was calm with my new pup's minor furniture destruction. Thankfully I bought the warranty! I would recommend Brian to anyone and would consider him again for future sits!

Joe arrived some days before I left, so I could show him some nice places in Switzerland and he had enough of time to learn all about the dogs and how to handle them. He is an amazing nice and an animal/natur loving person who took care of my dog with incredible affection when I was in vacation. I could really enjoy it, because I knew, everything is ok at home. He sent me picutres and I could see, how much fun they have together. He cooked for the dogs, mad a lot of nice hikes with them and huged them, when they need it - so he even got the trust from Artu (as a man really not easy). 
And not only that, he made woodruff punch for me and sowed my tomatoes and spoiled them with melt water. And he helped also the women which looked after the horses and helped her to going walk with them.
Generelly he is super friendly, so everyone in the village likes him.

He is considerate of your belongings and has handed the house back neatly. He is just the best. I'm so gratuful he was here.

So, if you have a chance to get him as a sitter, take it. Your animals will be grateful to you and have a good time while you are on vacation.

Joe, you're not just a dog sitter for me. You were so familiar to me from the first moment. We had a lot of fun and we already miss you sooooo much. I'm really looking forward to see you again in some monthes.

Katie & Kevin jumped in last-minute, as our sitters had to cancel. And what can I say: We couldn't have chosen better even if we would had more choices and time. Katie & Kevin were so easy to communicate with and the first meeting and handoff were so easy and smooth. Jim sat for my extremely shy rescue pup and new kitten for two weeks -- my pup struggles with new people, and is very fearful of men in particular. And yet, Jim was more successful with her than any sitter I've ever had: I can't recommend him highly enough. He has wonderful patience, a calm energy, and is a great communicator. He consistently updated me with photos and videos of my sweet girls enjoying the world with him, taking my dog on hikes and adventures to her favorite streams. He went above and beyond both for her (in meeting her needs and taking the time to get to know her personality), and also in caring for my home. I returned to such a cozy environment, a repaired wood stove, an organized wood pile and an at-peace dog and cat. Choosing Jim as a sitter is ensuring that your pets and home are getting the best of care, and his actions exemplify his kindness, generosity and thought taken in consideration of others. I hope to have him return many times in the future; the experience was a privilege both for myself and my pets.
