Jan has been walking my dog for over half a year now and Rosie absolutely loves her walkies with Jan and her dog friends. I feel so at ease knowing that my dog is well looked after throughout the week and in good hands! We have also extended our family to 2 dogs and both will be joining Jan and her friends on weekly walks! Couldn’t thank Jan enough for everything she does for us.

I'm effectively housebound due to disability and it's always a drama trying to arrange to take my cat, William, to the vets. I called Jan to discuss Treacle Town Hounds Pet taxi service & she came out the same day to meet both myself & Will - it was immediately clear that she is a real animal lover who loves her job - she's kind, sensitive to the needs of the pet, reliable and the service is very reasonably priced. I felt very comfortable sending Will off with Jan & I think he behaved for her (which is a miracle!) - It's an invaluable service for me & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jan & Treacle Town Hounds.

Jan has been taking my 1 year lab puppy for walks for a few months and he is a changed pup. He no longer pulls on his lead and his recall is amazing. This is simply due to the amazing work Treacle town hounds have put into him and the guidance they have given us as a family to continue the hard work. Cole adores Jan and we all 100% have full trust. Thank you for everything.

Jan Wilson has been working with Fergal (our 3-year old German Wire Haired Pointer) for over a year now and she has been fabulous. We initially went to Jan for some discrete obedience training and in this she has been informed and extremely patient with both us and our hound. So much so that the training was complete we went back to her for her dog-walking services (two days a week). Jan is incredibly flexible and caring. She is unfailingly good-natured, has developed an excellent relationship with Ferg and is someone hopefully we will be using to walk Ferg for many years to come!

Rosie loves her walks with Jan and gets so excited to see her. We have just introduced an extra dog to our family and she is also loving their adventures. We recieve a second dog discount which is nice.

Have known Jan for a number of years and she is a real animal lover and brilliant with dogs. Have been on many walks with her and her attention to her animals and her interaction with them is fantastic. Would highly recommend her for dog care or dog walking.

Jess has been brilliant from day 1 with Lucy ensuring the right mix of training, walking, 121 and group walking. She even helped Lucy learn to swim. I would highly recommend Pawfect Walkies to anyone who wants a caring, trustworthy, reliable and professional dog walker. Lucy waits at the door for Jess to arrive each day which I think is proof that she has a wonderful time on each and every walk.

My two pet rats stayed with Jane for twelve nights and she was very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately one of my rats had to be euthanized whilst we were away, we already knew he wasn't well. Jane had given him medication and kept me up to date the whole time, and kindly took him to the vet and I felt very comfortable with it all. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday home. Highly recommend

We have used Garden Lodge boarding on several occasions for our two guinea pigs. Jane always gives excellent service and the facilities are great for small animal boarding.

A beautiful set up and really friendly service. The garden lodge is brilliantly designed and the outdoor space is just lovely. A perfect spot for little pets! Jane and family are really kind and helpful. The added treat of home grown vegetables is a great touch, too! Highly recommended and amazing value.

We were delighted with the care and attention given by Jane and family to our daughter’s hamster during his recent stay with them. He came home looking very happy and healthy. It is a great reassurance to know that he will be so well cared for again during our next holidays.

We left our two rabbits Bobby+Dolly with Jane and her family recently for two weeks. We knew as soon as we left them that we could go on our holiday fully assured they would be well looked after, if not totally spoilt! On our return our bunnies were very happy and healthy. What a great place! Our house rabbit enjoyed his ‘holiday’ with Jane. All the animals are very well cared for, and the standard of cleanliness is very high. The outdoor runs provide opportunity for exercise. We would definitely recommend!

I booked my rabbit in for a 3 night stay at the Garden Lodge small pet boarding last week. The premises is very clean and my rabbit was looked after perfectly. The outdoor run means that your pets can enjoy the grass and sun too. Thanks again, I'll certainly be coming back the next time Dexter needs somewhere to stay!

Great place to leave small furries while you go away. The owner is friendly and approachable and takes the time to get to know your pets before you leave them. The place itself is lovely, sparkling clean hutches and lots of outside runs for them to stretch their legs. We left ours for two weeks while we were away and, to be honest, I think they were a bit disappointed when we brought them home. Absolutely recommended.

Jane has just looked after my guinea pigs for a week, and they are healthy and relaxed after their holiday at the lodge. We are booking again for our next holiday.

Definitely the best doggy day care in Macclesfield, especially for small and nervous or anxious dogs. They tend to take only a max of 6 or 7 dogs so that it isn't overwhelming for them, are walked twice a day, and love cuddling up on the sofa with Tracey. 💗 …

My dog has been going to Sleepwalkies for over a year now- he absolutely loves it. He practically levitates through the door. I trust Carl & Tracy so much with my dog- he has also had holiday sleepovers there and is taken care of so well. We love Sleepwalkies so much!

We have just left our Yorkshire Terrier for a week with Carl & Tracey and they have been amazing! Very welcoming and interested about your dogs routine and how they can keep that whilst caring for your pet. We have had updates on our dog enjoying walks with the other dogs and updates about her in general and how well she has settled in. It truly is like a home from home. What a wonderful holiday my dogs had, they came back so happy. Tracey is a lovely girl, so helpful and makes time for everyone. I would recommend everyone to try Sleepwalkies first, if she's too busy to take your pets, she will do her utmost to find another walker, boarder or trainer for you.

Our beautiful dog has stayed here couple of times now, carl and Tracey are very professional and trust worthy and so friendly and really do take such good care of there dogs in there care. What a great 12 night holiday our little fur girl has had staying with this lovely couple and the doggie gang !l Loads of great walks - cuddles and affection in a very caring environment! We had videos and photos daily - reassuring and we could see how happy she was !! Out with the doggie gang - tail wagging like mad ! She is asking - when do I go back please 🐶😄

We booked our 14 year old Cocker Spaniel in with Debbie whilst we were going away for 5 nights to New York just before Christmas. We were anxious about leaving her as she was old, but Debbie made her so welcome. Star had an overnight trial with Debbie which went well. I received photos of Star on a regular basis. When we initially went to visit where Star would be staying, Debbie was very thorough and explained everything clearly, I knew Star was going to be pampered and I had nothing to worry about. Star is now no longer with us and we are enjoying some time without the reasonability of a dog to look after, but we plan to get another dog next year and the only person I would want to leave them with, is Debbie. If I could give more than 5* I would.

Never felt so let down and dissapointed. We had our dog booked in with Debbie for a year, we were looking forward to our holiday and had paid for the holiday. We received a text message from Debbie to say she had made an error and overbooked with her own holiday onto ours. We couldn’t understand how this could happen when you have it booked into a diary. Surely the first thing you do is check if you have a dog coming it’s common sense. Debbie said if we can arrange for someone to have our dog for the first two days then she could have him after that. Why would we do that, when she knew we had no one to have him. To say we are devastated is an understatement. When I tried to explain to Debbie that she should be offering a proper solution rather than casually brush it off and try and deny that we had a booking. She didn’t seem to be bothered and if anything tried to make out I was in the wrong rather than excepting what she had done was wrong. We also picked up on the last occasions she had our dog she didn’t seem happy about some of his behaviour s. He’s a timid dog and doesn’t settle straight away. If there had been a problem and she didn’t want to have him again, then she should have been honest. Her attitude about the whole thing was appalling. If you have a booking with her I would just keep checking that she’s not going to let you down like she did with us Very disappointed and shocked customers

We have just returned from our holiday and our 2 french bulldogs stayed here for 9 days. From start to finish the communication has been excellent, I recieved daily updates, pics and videos of how my dogs were loving life, they were treated amazingly! They are happy, healthy with amazing shiny coats, Debbie treated them like her own, an amazing home from home environment and I will be booking her for all upcoming vacations. If I could give 6 stars I would, thankyou so much the dogs are missing you already 💙

Always an excellent service from Adam & Laura – we really appreciated the updates and photos and our cats seemed chilled and happy when we got home. Great to have that peace of mind with daily check-ins on the house/post/plants while we were away. Thank you both again!

I just wanted to tell everyone about my experience with animalsitting. We found them through google after looking up dog kennels in cheshire. We clicked on their link and were very surprised to see the info about their home dog boarding. We thought it sounded perfect so we arranged to go round and meet them. They were both absoultely lovely and you could tell they both love dogs. We booked ruby in with them to stay at Laura's mum and dads. We were still anxious about leaving her but Adam & Laura were kind enough to send us text updates and even some picture messages of Ruby playing so we knew she was in good hands. Ruby was happy to see us when we picked her up but she had obviously had a good time as she didnt want to come home! We are never going to use kennels again and we have already booked her in again for later in the year.x

A wonderful place run by people you really feel you can trust to look after your dog. The daycare is a great way of letting your dog socialize and get some stimulation - guaranteed to come home shattered but happy! Really useful if you work in Macclesfield as you can drop off on the way in and pick up on the way home thanks to the long opening hours, also good if you're out for a long time for social functions. Julian and the team have also been really helpful taking our dog at short notice due to the arrival of a new addition to our pack! Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about the Canine Club. I needed to use the club for my GSP puppy while I worked and he is now so confident around other dogs of all sizes it's a pleasure to see. I moved out of the direct area at the beginning of the year, but after getting another GSP in the summer I am now travelling so the second puppy can benefit in the same way as the first (there's nothing similar I can find locally). It's also the only place I would feel comfortable leaving the dogs overnight if they can't stay with family. After a bad home boarding experience, I genuinely feel the dogs are happy here if they can't be with me :)

We can definitely recommend The Canine Club. They are very professional and friendly with fantastic facilities. They made our puppy feel very welcome, and put us at ease too, as we were slightly nervous as it was the first time we had left our puppy.

What a fabulous place! It took Jarvis a few visits to settle in and now he loves it! We can relax at work all day knowing he’s just having a busy time with all his mates!

My border collie goes to doggy daycare and he loves it. The staff are kind and helpful and he's a happy chap when he comes home.

I am happy to drop my dog off at Country Kennels. He is happy to go there and I have found all the staff very friendly. I like that he can go into the doggy day care on weekdays, so he gets additional interaction with other dogs and loads of exercise. The booking is very vague. It doesn't give you much detail other than your booking being accepted, but once you have done it once you know the drill. You can book to go in and look around before you drop your dog off.

My dogs seem to enjoy staying at country kennels they was groomed also, and smell gorgeous. only thing I would have liked more updates how they was doing, pictures! they did respond when asked. Thanks for looking after Lily, Milo,and Reggie. would definitely recommend

Never again!!! Our dog was booked into Country Kennels for 9 nights as his usual kennels were fully booked. On collection he had lost 1.2kg in weight and was found to be severely dehydrated…he required urgent veterinary care consisting of two days of IV fluids, blood tests and other medications. It has taken him two weeks to return to his normal self, as he was significantly unwell. We feel he wasn’t monitored closely enough with diet and fluids during his stay, and we are thankful he wasn’t in their “care” for any longer.

We recently boarded our dog Luna at Country Kennels, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff took excellent care of her, ensuring she was well looked after and happy throughout her stay. The facilities were impressively clean and well-maintained, which gave us peace of mind. Luna had plenty of activities to keep her entertained, and it was clear she enjoyed her time there. On top of all this, the prices were very affordable, making it a great value for the level of care provided. We highly recommend Country Kennels to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their pet. We will definitely be bringing Luna back!

Hands down the best place we have used to board our Bull Terrier. The staff are very friendly and happy to provide updates on our girl when asked. Nala absolutely loves her time at Country Kennels.

We contacted Country Kennels due to our regular Kennels not being as confident due to the distance we had to travel to get to them (we had been using them for 10yrs) we wanted somewhere more local. We first tried them for the weekend and we're very impressed, our chocolate lab is an old boy now so leaving him anywhere is always a concern, knowing this they sent us some photos helping us feels more relaxed, he had a lovely time and you could see how happy he was when we collected. So when we went away in the summer for 3 weeks we were more than happy to send him to them. They gave him the right level of exercise, which was tailored to his health needs, and ensured he had all his medication. Again when we collected him he was happy. They looked after him so well

Bob has stayed at Country Kennels for a few years now. Each time I take him he’s pleased to go. Lynn and her team are fabulous and always take great care of him. He does require a bit of extra care and they all look after him extremely well and seem to know him well. Once I picked him up and although he was very pleased to see me he wanted to go back in. That says it all!! I can highly recommend.
