I’ve been going here for over 18 years! The service is amazing! She dose a great Job trimming and cutting and shaving all my dogs fur and also makes them smell amazing and really really soft!!! And she always put a cute handkerchief around their neck when there done!!! Honestly the best place you could go! I wouldn’t trust anyone else to groom my puppies!!

Dianne was amazing with my dog, Goose! Goose is incredibly anxious about getting her nails trimmed. Dianne worked with Goose for weeks to re-introduce her to nail trimming using patience and positive reinforcement. I was really impressed with how Dianne created a relaxing and fun environment for Goose and how she taught her that getting groomed isn't all bad. Instead of showing up scared and traumatized, Goose became excited every time we pulled up to the salon. Unfortunately Goose and I moved away from Golden - wish we could have brought our favourite groomer with us :).

There aren't enough stars for this review. I can't say enough positive things about my dogs stay here. I've kenneled him at many different places but unleashed has been the best. I was first struck by how quiet it was upon entering. Most places the dogs are barking excessively and obviously stressed. The dogs were all quiet and happily hanging out. I picked my dog up to go hiking and could tell he was eating (this doesn't usually happen as he gets stressed a bit in a kennel). After our hike I brought him back and he was thrilled to be back. He was actually tugging on his leash to get back into the building with his tail going a million times a minute. I have never been so happy to drop him off at a kennel before because I knew he would be well taken care of. Thank you guys so much for loving the pets in your care and providing them with a home away from home. I hope to be in the area again someday and will bring my fur baby back 😀

We can't rave enough about Unleashed and the awesome staff there. Unleashed is our dog's favourite place in the valley. He is beyond excited when we drop him off and never wants to leave when we pick him up! We also did obedience classes at Unleashed in the spring, which were great. The owners and staff are clearly knowledgeable and have a deep love for dogs. Our pup is still young and highly energetic, so he can be quite the handful. However, I know he is in excellent hands with the crew at Unleashed. We are very fortunate to have this business in the valley.

My furbaby stayed with Unleashed for 1 month she had the best time. We loved that our dog was able to spend her days outdoors playing and not in a crate like many other kennels. We highly recommend Amber and her team for all your daycare/extended care needs.

My dogs only visited this dog care one time for the day. It was easy to get them booked in. I am grateful that Unleashed! Accepted my dogs for the day, I was camping with the dogs and I got to do some things I wouldn't normally get to do because they are usually with me. They seemed well cared for and the staff told me they had a good day. The place looked nice from what I could see. Drop off and pick up was easy and the price was very reasonable. Thank you! I would come back if I was in the area again.

Well run Daycare & Boarding facility ideally located btw Radium and Invermere. I booked daycare on short notice & they were terrific with my 15 yr. old retriever. I can highly recommend and will use Unleashed! again.

Unleashed Pet Care Services are absolutely brilliant. Having moved over from Scotland with our dog it has been great to give our dog some time to herself and play with friends at Unleashed. Amber and her team are so kind and friendly and very very knowledgeable of dogs needs and are very understanding of some dogs needs. My dog is nervous with some people and I feel her time at Unleashed has really brought her out of her shell, we will continue to use Unleashed as much as we can. As well as daycare and boarding we have also had her bathed and her nails trimmed while at Unleashed and they are brilliant, it’s great getting back a clean tired dog! Thank you Unleashed!

I dropped my dog off for a 3 night stay at unleashed and it was amazing! My dog had a blast, he was sad to leave. It was the first time we have ever left our dog somewhere overnight and everyone was incredible! My dog slept the whole 4 hour drive home and continues to sleep the rest of the day! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to board their pup!

Great place, have been sending our dog, who is anxious around people, a few times a week for over a month. She’s happy to go and loves getting to run about with other dogs. All the staff are brilliant with her and care a lot about the dogs they’re looking after.

Chelsea is super great our doggo loves going there. She walks them daily has play time and takes them to the river for a swim if they are allowed to. Our doggo comes back very tired and well taken care of. Due to the forest fires around the area we have had to change some bookings and she has been very flexible and understanding.

Absolutely wonderful kennel! We were traveling this way to go house boating and needed weekend accommodations for our dog. Chelsea was so easy to communicate with, we ended up having to change our reservation last minute as one dog got injured right before the trip and she was fantastic to deal with. During the stay I received many photos/videos of my dog having the absolute best time at the beach.

It was a great feeling to know that our dog was well cared for and able to run on a big acerage with a river beside it. Chelsea runs the pet resort as if every dog was hers, she posts daily Instagram photos..We would definitely recommend Chelsea and the pet resort !!!!

Shuswap Pet Resort is PHENOMENAL! This was my first time leaving my little dachshund anywhere, and I was beyond nervous. Right from booking, Chelsea made me feel SO comfortable with answering all my questions. The facility/land is absolutely beautiful and drop off was easy and smooth. Chelsea kept me informed for the entirety of my 8 day vacation constantly sending me videos and updates on Toby. I love that Chelsea posts on Instagram so I could stay updated through her story when I wanted to check in on my dog. Toby had an AMAZING time and is a whole new pup now that I've picked him up. I would 150% recommend Shuswap Pet Resort as my FIRST and ONLY choice in the Shuswap area. They took care of amd loved my dog in the same way that I do and I couldn't be more grateful! Couldn’t ask for a better place!!! I was kinda skeptical about bringing my dog to a place for a week, but right away I could tell she was in great hands. They go above and beyond! I got pictures and videos everyday of my dog Charlotte playing, swimming and sleeping. She definitely cares about every dog there, it’s not just a job. This will be the only place I bring my dog from now on. Couldn’t be happier

We are so happy we found the shuswap pet resort. The owners and staff were absolutely amazing with our lil busy boy Arlo. We have never felt comfortable leaving him at any kennel until now. As soon as we drove in we knew he was going to love it. He spent 3 wonderful days making new friends and even used as a therapy dog for active and anxious dogs having trouble settling in. We picked him up a happy and confident lil man. Definitely highly recommend the wonderful shuswap pet resort for your furry lil friends. Amazing kennel where you feel so comfortable leaving your furry family members. Wendy was so quick to respond, incredibly friendly and accommodating. She was great with our dogs. We left both my dog and my parents dog together and they were extremely well cared for. We will definitely be coming back :)

I had an excellent experience with Shuswap Pet Resort. I was tree planting in the area and needed daycare for my dog during the long hours I was at work. They were very flexible and accommodating with the early morning drop off and late evening pick up times that I needed. The price was really reasonable and my dog seemed to enjoy going there too!

Wendy runs an awesome business! We're super pleased with her services. As a dog kennel, she doesn't accept dogs that are problematic (fair warning) in concern for the rest of her charges, but takes excellent care of the ones she boards. She also takes cats. It is a small business so don't expect to be able to come in at the drop of a hat, but she's happy to work with you as best she can. Phone during business hours, be patient, and you can guarantee that when you need to have someone take care of your dog for a while, the Rocky Mountain Pet Resort and Spa will have your pet's needs and happiness well taken care of.

We have two dogs - ages 14 and 4. Because our senior dog doesn’t like open wooden stairs Wendy provided us with a solution- for additional cost of course , of a separate and quieter space in The Cottage. Our girls spend 6 nights there and they appeared to have enjoyed their stay.

Wendy took us in when Unleashed cancelled on us last minute. This place is everything you could possibly want in a doggy day-care. Lots of care, friendly pups, and tons of space for them to run around. My dog got spoiled rotten with tons of love, cuddles and treats, and was extremely comfortable with his stay. Wendy is truly a lifesaver and runs a five star business.

Such a gorgeous place for pups to stay! Roo just LOVES staying at the Rocky Mtn Pet Resort & Spa if our adventures aren't dog friendly & he has plenty of space to run and play with his new friends. Wendy is so lovely to deal with & has the pups best interest at heart.

My husband and I wanted to go to the hot springs and needed someone last minute to take our little pup Winston. Wendy was so kind and understanding to deal with, and even though it was a quiet cleaning day for her, she still took our boy even though he was the only pup there. When we drove up we even saw them playing. You can tell Wendy absolutely loves dogs! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling through! We were in a pinch needing a place for our 2 Great Danes to stay for half a day while we were passing through and Wendy was very accommodating to work with me over the phone a few days before our arrival to set things up. Timing wise it ended up being better for them to spend the night which Wendy was able to provide on short notice. Our Danes, as lovely as they are, have separation anxiety and can be easily stressed out but when we arrived the next morning they were both in good spirits. They got to stay in a beautiful little "cottage" all to themselves complete with a fireplace, couch, dog beds and a large play area. The entire facility is sparkling clean and very cozy . I would definitely recommend this place for your pets!

Wendy put our minds at ease throughout our vacation with updates about our dog. The resort is located mins away from Radium Hot Springs BC. Our dog seemed really happy with his week long stay.

I brought my dog Waylon yesterday to this place. I wanted to check out more of Radium & Invermere and I cannot bring my dog everywhere. I was looking for him to get some daycare for between 4 to 5 hours and decided to try this place. They are in Edgewater which is just a short drive from Radium Hot Springs. It was quite easy to find and the nice thing about kennels or daycare for dogs in small towns is they get a country feel. They have a large fenced yard for the dogs to explore and interact with. He made a friend when he got there just minutes later. There are not a lot of these facilities in the greater Radium region but I would recommend Mrs & Mr Bennett for short or long term dog care.

Our Dogs just love Wendy and the Pet resort! Feels so great to know your fur kids are so well cared for when you are away! would recommend them to Everyone!! Best place in the valley.

We won't use this business again. We thought we would give it a try but when the owner charged us for an extra day because she decided she wouldn't take him the evening we arrived (after being behind a serious highway accident with no cell coverage), and told us only on pick up day of all the "issues" she had with our dog (some of which put him in extreme danger) instead of contacting us immediately, made for a bad experience. Our pup has been to many pet resorts with very little issue but she made sure to tell us what a bad dog he was. Our pup is highly trained and is generally easy to manage when exercised properly and given some care. It was clear he received neither of these during his stay. This resort is likely more tailored for dogs who are okay to sit in a cage for a few days at a time and don't require attention or proper exercise.

Great staff that are always friendly and helpful when needed. Great selection throughout the store and happy to bring things in if there’s something you’re interested in :) love the little treat bags for the dogs!

A great place. This store has many items for your pet. If they don't have what you are looking for they will order it. Your order comes in very fast. The staff are friendly and know alot about store products. I love there dog wash station. Has everything in it you need including treats and towels. The wash station is kept clean and tidy no germs to be spread from animal to animal. Would recommend this store for anyone needing pet anything!

Wide selection of goods for all your pet needs. The staff are all very friendly and the more senior ones have really good knowledge. The shop is clean and well laid out, there's an excellent dog washing facility at the back. The store supports local charities and has a great presence in the community. The dogs love the treats that staff give them!

We were on a road trip from Calgary to Kamloops when our pup became very anxious, and we stopped off here to see if they had any recommendations for something that could help. The staff at the Pet Valu were so helpful and kind, and guided us to a couple of options that may help. What we got for our pup helped a lot and made the whole trip much more comfortable for her. So thankful for their help!

Since getting a dog I've been so grateful for pet valu. The staff are always so nice and it's the best option for washing your dog.

Leslie and team are absolutely amazing. I have a very scared rescue dog and they treat him so great. We've been going in since he was a foster of mine and he loves them so much. Jolene groomed him recently, his first groom ever and it was a really great experience. Thank you guys for helping out those of us with special need doggos.

Impeccable service! Davis went above and beyond taking care of my dog Levi and attending his needs. My dog suffers separation anxiety and won't eat when he feels stressed out. Davis comforted Levi by sitting with him so he would eat and feel comfortable each meal. Davis showed personable consideration to reassure my dog would have an enjoyable time by offering photos and videos any time of his stay. Levi had his own kennel each night and had plenty of options to play or lounge around. I will definitely be using Davis's boarding or daycare services when I need again.

My dog is so obsessed with Melissa and Poochies. It is such a relief knowing he is so well taken care of and so happy to be there. Daycare or Boarding, 11/10 recommend.

First time using the dog kennel. The staff and owner were very personable and we felt comfortable right away. Highly recommended. Very clean and well run facility.

Our dog loves Poochies. He greets Melissa with a huge full body wag, and we trust her to watch out for him (he has a little medical issue that sometimes acts up). He always comes home tired and happy. So happy to have this available for our pup!

I went to Poochies today to see what it was all about. There were many dogs but all on cement floor, no bedding, no toys or windows. I guess they don't let them outside when it's raining because then the owners want them bathed? Not sure if I received a great picture of what I was told and what I seen because there are great reviews. At this point I would never let my dog go there unless I was given wrong information by the staff.

Picked up my dog and her bed was filthy, thought it was just dirt until we got in the car & could smell it, so obviously my dog had either thrown up or something. My dog was filthy and constipated. Called the kennel on our way home to ask about the situation, left a voice mail and they never returned my call.

This place is one of the best pet boarding facilities around. I have 3 Golden retrievers and they love coming here. Usually my females have anxiety when they go to other places, but not here. Definately reccomend u bring your dogs here.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Cheryl’s. She has so much fun, learns so much and gets to experience so many things. Cheryl is devoted to teaching the children everything from manners to potty training to pre school work and more. They enjoy time outside every day no matter the weather and have so many places to play and learn inside and out. My daughters favourite thing is when they make their daily crafts. We’ve decided to keep our daughter in Cheryl’s daycare rather than moving to pre school because we believe she is learning just as much but also has the extra love and attention that Cheryl gives. We couldn’t be happier!

Cheryl is like family to my little girl! We love Cheryl so much. So much kindness, professionalism and her daycare is impeccably clean.

Elizabeth was great. She asked us questions on our dogs personality, feeding schedule etc to get to know him better. We were able to come get him during our vacation to take him on walks, and bring him back later on, even though she walks the dogs twice a day. To top it all off, we ended up overpaying, and they reached out to tell us this, and we were able to swing by and work it all out later on.

Wonderful people and location. My dog was well looked after, and in good spirits after his two day stay...even though the summer heat was up to 35 degrees.

Absolutely incredible service and care of our two dogs by the owner Tania. She went above and beyond for us when we had an opportunity to extend our ski trip in Sun Peaks for an extra two nights, and didn't hesitate to accommodate our request. She even provided the extra dog food we needed to allow us to stay. There's good service and then there is exceptional service, which is what Tania provided. Thank you so much again for caring for our fur babies.

Tania's kennel is a good one. There is indoor/outdoor accommodation for all weather conditions, a good play area, and great care provided. Our Alaskan Malamute, Ruby, had stayed at Two Paws Up several times for 2 or 3 days at a time over a recent span of two years. Then we went to Europe for 18 nights away. Ruby didn't agree to an extended stay and chewed through the chain-link fencing on her run only to find she had "escaped" to the run next door! In a different run with heavier chain-link, she figured out how to get under the heavier fencing! Tania brought Ruby into her home for the remaining 15 nights of our absence. She and her Staff looked after Ruby with the professional diligence that prevented any further difficulties. I trust Tania and the Staff she works with. You can too! Aleta Wallace 16oct23

We've been boarding our poodles here for well over a decade (after a horrible experience at another local kennel where my standard poodle was traumatized). He LOVED 2 Paws Up!) On the drives to Tappen the dogs figure out where they were going and get so excited! At pick-up time, they greet me happily, but are in no hurry at all to leave all their new canine friends and the fun at Tania's. They give her goodbye kisses. That is the best sign to me that this is the best boarding kennel around! We travel several times a year, and are thankful our baby(ies) are cared for, and enjoying their vacation, too.

Tania was amazing. We dropped our 3 pugs off several times during our vacation for some sleep overs - they loved their play dates!! Highly recommended!!

Picture valley is one of the few places i trust to watch our 2 large dogs. The facility is immaculately cleaned, lots of room for the dogs and the owner is knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. When we leave the boys there we know they are safe and well kept. Highly recommend and cannot wait to book again.

Such an amazing place for dogs! We struggled due to having an unfixed female, Elaine was so kind to our situation. This was the first time boarding our pups with someone other than family, safe to say they were treated just like family. We will not hesitate to use Picture Valley again, great environment and they treat animals so well.

We couldn’t recommend Elaine and Picture Valley high enough! Our dog has an absolute blast there, and the last time she was there from Thursday to Sunday and her tracker said she played/ran 28km! Needless to say that when Elaine tells you they play and run the whole time, they really do! No one can take care of your pup with so much love as Elaine does! 10/10 recommend.

I could not say enough good things about Elaine and her facility. I have fair weathered dog and she did an excellent job at keeping him warm and exercised. The best part is your dog gets a routine as close to being at home as possible. Elaine is professional, organized, great at communication and kept us updated while we were away. The facility is beautiful! lots of room in the runs, well maintained and clean. Since there is limited space, you know your dog is getting the attention and care they would get at home - including some playtime with the other dogs. Highly recommend and will be bringing our little guy there again!

Atlas loves his stays out at Picture Valley! Elaine is always so wonderful when we pick up/drop off our dog. She genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and runs a very nice and safe place. Atlas always comes back happy and tired, and we couldn't be happier. 15/10

What an amazing place. Our 5 month old pup was received with love and care. He spent 2 nights at this beautiful establishment and had plenty of fun. I knew from the minute I dropped our pup off that he would be in good hands. Elaine has a true love for animals and has passion for what she does. We will definitely be going back to her.

Drove to Sorrento from Alberta & left our dog at Parklane for a few days. She has never stayed with anyone other than family & I am so pleased with the service we received! She got lots of exercise and loving. I could tell that they do truly care for your dog while they are there. They took the time to let her warm up, as she is very shy! Definitely will be back if we’re in the area! Highly recommend!

Wayne was very friendly and accommodating. The Kennels are great and have indoor/outdoor access. Our dogs stayed with him for almost a week, and seemed happy and well taken care of when we picked them up. Would definitely use Parklane Kennels again!

Thank you to Wayne at Parklane for caring for Myrah. Myrah doesn't get along with other dogs. Our once in a blue moon family vacation out to Scotch Creek, meant we wanted a kennel in close proximity, just in case of any "problems". She's never been in a kennel while we've had her, so we weren't expecting her to do well. Wayne made it possible for us to pull off this week long vacay. We very much recommend Wayne and Parklane kennels. If your headed to the Shuswaps and in need of a caring and reliable kennel, look them up.

Came from Alberta and needed a place for our dogs to stay for for the day while we rented a boat. Parklane is well organized and the owner is so dedicated. Definitely will use her services again.

This place was great! So friendly and kind and helped us in a jam. Took our dog in for us for daycare and was very affordable. Sheila is very friendly and treated our dog as her own. Nice setup for the animals with air conditioning on those hot days. Would highly recommend!

Nice and clean, individual, indoor, air conditioned kennels. We board our 2 dogs together in one "apartment". Each has its own individual doggie door to an outdoor, enclosed outdoor space, that leads to a larger outdoor dog run area. Very reasonably priced. Love the service and friendliness of the owners who live onsite.
