I would recommend Purrgrove with confidence. Lindie takes so much care with her cat guests. Keeps an eagle key on the cats and picked up a health issue with my Sadie straight away, and took her to the vet after checking with me. Daily updates and photos were appreciated. Lindie keeps communicating and is professional. The catery is well equipped, spacious, has lots of areas/levels for the cats to choose from, and the cats get lots of attention. I will definitely book with Purrgrove again.

Storm & Spunky had a wonderful stay at Purrgrove Cattery. It was Spunky's first stay away from home - he was so calm and relaxed when I came back. It is spacious and very clean units with look-out spots to satisfy every cat's curiosity. Lindie spent a lot of time cuddling and playing with them. She provides good daily feedback to let any cat parent feel assured that their fur children is content and well taken care of. Storm & Spunky will definitely be regulars at Purrgrove Cattery!!!

Such an amazing place to leave your furbabies when going away! Our little one got so much love and attention. She really felt at home. We could tell she was super happy and relaxed at Purrgrove 🐱💖 and we got daily updates with lots of pictures of our little girl. The cattery is not crowded, and all cats get their own space. It was super clean and spotless and all kitties where happy to be there. So we will definitely be back

Biscuit never missed home being at Purrgrove Cattery, He gets all the love and attention he needs and very comfortable accommodation. He needed nothing but a few more days at this wonderful home away from home. Felt confident leaving him there in Lindie's care.

I can highly recommend Purrgrove Cattery in Gordons Bay - your cats will be cared for and loved by Lindie as if they are at home. The facilities are first class - soft, comfortable beds, toys, clean and temperature controlled rooms and no contact with other cats.

Thanks Lindie for taking such excellent care of my fur baby for over 2 months. She is definitely going to miss you and the luxury treatment :D I can highly recommend this cattery for long and short term stay. The accommodations are spacious with many levels to climb, so cute and cozy with many spots to hang out. Lindie puts your mind at ease with frequent updates and pictures. I have been taking my dogs to Vierthof Kennels for more than 15 years. They are the best in the Western Cape! I recommend them to everybody who ask me. My dogs only receive the best treatment and love at Vierthof Kennels.

Very professional and lovely people! Took good care of our dog while she did a trial run. It is clear they love animals and love what they do and they went to a lot of effort to make sure our dog was settling in despite her initial anxiety. I will happily bring our dog here again.

Our dogs were at Vierthof for almost seven weeks and they were so well cared for, they were in better condition than when we left! Very caring and affectionate staff who only had the dogs’ best interests at heart. Will definitely use them again.

It was my dogs' second time at Viertof, Arlo's first, and they never wanted to come home 😀. The Viertof team took really good care of my fur babies and I have no plans of entrusting anyone else with them. Considering that Ben and Charlie are very reactive Jack Russells, I was surprised that they went along with Dorothy and Jimmy to the kennels, they didn't even look back. This is THE BEST Kennels in the WC - and I have made use of several over the years. I moved away from Strand two years ago, but I still drive all the way there to leave my babies in their care when ever we need to go away. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They are strict, thorough, caring people and the animals always comes first. Your animal will tell you if they are happy or not - mine cannot wait to get out of the car when we get there .... that in itself explains everything!

Vierthof have been looking after my furry family members for over 15 years now and I have only had amazing experiences with them. They are the only people who I would leave my animals with due to their lovely caring staff and just amazing service ! Their prices are very affordable when you compare it to the excellent care that they give to their fluffy hotel guests

As someone who has never used a kennel service before and who has never spent a night away from my 1-year old german shepherd, I had severe anxiety at the thought of leaving her for two nights. But I was so pleasantly surprised. Not only was she happy and relaxed, but obviously showered with affection too. Vierthof Kennels is the best kennel I have ever had the pleasure of boarding my dog. It is much more than just a kennel, it is a place where your pet will get the love, care & attention of a home with gentle people who care about the needs of your animal. I have a nervous dog and I am cautious about who I leave him with, he had such great experiences at Vierthof it was as if he’d been at a behavioural clinic! I’ve never seen him so relaxed and happy. When I took him back the second time he ran in with his tail wagging like it was his second home. I will never kennel anywhere else. Vierthof went above the call of duty in so many ways and gave my dog such a positive experience and understood him so well that it has helped him in his journey to get over his fear of strangers. This place makes me jealous I'm not my dog! My dog absolutely loves coming here - she might love them more than us! It's obvious that every single person at DDO is passionate and loves what they do, and they are GREAT at it. They take great care with the dogs, and it's nice getting video and picture updates throughout the day. I cannot recommend them enough. Always great service!

Honestly the best Day care we have sent our pup too ! And we will not send him anywhere else. The staff are lovely and my dog comes back clean and happy each time we fetch him ! 🤍 so so so happy to know he has a home away from home that he loves !

This is the best doggy daycare and boarding! My beagle loved going here and they are awesome with pets. They give frequent updates and make you feel at ease. I actually miss them but I unfortunately moved out the area. Please open up a branch in Tableview!

What’s not to like about dogs day out. Our fur babies are loved and taken care of so well here. We have left them over a few days when we had a wedding and couldn’t take them with and we received daily updates about how they were doing. They are excited on their way to school and come home exhausted. The staff are professional and friendly and always respond to any text messages and even keep my dogs up to date with their tick and flea and deworming So 5 stars all the way We have sent our babies to the Faure branch and they come home well exhausted and with big smiles on their faces. Love both branches Thank you to all for keeping our fur kids safe happy and exercised

Absolutely amazing service received from Dogs Day Out. From making the reservation, to receiving my cat on the day she was booked in, to being flexible as I travelled longer, getting daily videos on how my cat is doing. I dealt with Simone and Kirsten mostly. Truly absolutely incredible service, and amazing staff. Highly recommended!!

My dogs are happy and safe there and I can leave them without worries. There they can run and plat the whole day with all the other dogs. Will always take my dogs to them and they go the extra mile for their clients

Possibly the closest thing to doggie heaven I have ever seen. Dogs are treated based on their likes and personality. We also received fotos and videos of our doggie throughout the course of the weekend. A no brainer if you need a sitter.
