We had problems in the past with other dog sitters. Our black lab is very anxious. He barks and hides when strangers come into the house. Kira and Josh were amazing. They took the time to get to know him and he looked forward to their visits. Most have not been able to do that. We truly appreciated the great care they got while we were away. It allowed us to relax on vacation. We will definitely use them again.

Pet and Home Care did a great job caring for my cat while I had surgery. They came twice/day, provided food and water, cleaned the litter and provided affection. They also provided online pictures and comments to me after each visit which I greatly enjoyed. I intend to use them in the future.

After many months of guiltily asking friends to watch our two rabbits while we’re away, we found Pet & Home Care online. We have been using their service for four months now and I don’t know how we lived without it. They are experienced, dependable, kind, and responsive. Thanks to Miranda R, Emily B, Tad B, Andrea L, Dorothy E and the rest of the excellent team, we never have to worry when we leave town. We especially love that they share updates explaining how their visit went and including photos our two buns. We will proudly continue to depend on their services for the foreseeable future.

Rylee and Tad provided outstanding, conscientious, and compassionate care for our animals. After each visit, they sent us a detailed notification with photos of all animals. One of our cats has to get insulin shots twice a day; for a year, we did not leave him in someone else's care for even one day. After experiencing Pet and Home Care's competent and caring service, we now feel confident that he is in safe hands if we have to travel.

I have 4 dogs and used to always beanxious about going on vacation and leaving them. I have been using pets and home care for over a year now and am always impressed by their service! They do a great job even with dogs that are elderly, reactive, or harder to deal with. They send pictures and reports about the dogs and follow the care instructions very well. I've had 3 different sitters in the last year and they always do an excellent job!

Was recommended to Pet and Home Care by Laureen’s Pet Sitting when she moved away. We used P&HC for the first time over the new year holidays. Jack and Jean took care of our three dogs, gave twice daily medications to one, and sent pictures with every update. This was the happiest our dogs have ever been when we’ve returned from a vacation. 10/10 pet sitting. Highly recommend and will use them again. ❤️

Choosing a place to trust with your dog can be extremely difficult. You usually know if you've made a good choice when you pick your pet up based on their behavior. You know for sure how it went based on how they behave if you try to take them back to that place. From his first daycare evaluation visit, our dog has shown nothing but absolute joy to go to stay with Pet and Home Care! He perks up in the car as soon as he realizes where he is and he runs right through the front door without hesitation and without looking back for me. We recently had our longest time away and he stayed 2 weeks. I was really concerned he'd feel abandoned (he was a rescue pup). I was so pleased when we picked him up and he was his usual happy self, not seeming to have even noticed how much time had passed. These folks are phenomenal and I am so glad we found them.

Pet and Home Care is a wonderful organization. They cared for my diabetic cat when I was travelling and now they take care of my dog when I'm away. Their care is excellent and I never worry when I leave my pets in their care.

From a management standpoint, Tiffany and Kira were easy to work with. They looked at our set up and made a few recommendations to meet our needs. They also adjusted our schedule, which saved us some money. Very pleased with their services and their rates are reasonable. They followed all instructions, left detailed notes and even sent cute pictures of one of our cats. They also contacted us with questions or concerns. Erica was outstanding. She was attentive, kind and affectionate with both of our cats. We highly recommend and would use her services again if she is available in the future. Thank you!

We feel so lucky to have found such a great service to take care of our beloved Goldendoodle, Charlie, as well as our home. Charlie loves everyone at Pet and Home Care who's taken care of her which includes daycare, a variety of grooming services, walks, really anything we've ever needed or wanted for our beloved pup. They are so sweet and caring with Charlie, I sometimes worry Charlie likes her PHC friends more than us! PHC has also provided excellent services to help clean and maintain our home. Our lives can get very busy, but Tiffany and Pet and Home Care have been a trusted and valued support system for us for years and have made all of our lives significantly better because we found them. My wife and I can be very particular and picky, so I can confidently say they are the best and couldn't recommend anyone more highly!!!

I’ve used Pet and Home Care several times and each experience has been great. I appreciate the photos and daily reports. My cats are getting older, so I’m less willing to leave them alone for too long. Having visits from Pet and Home Care gives me peace of mind.

Just finished an overnight stay service for a long weekend with Pet and Home Care and couldn’t be more pleased with the care of our pet. My cat is very shy, but warms right up to Autumn. Autumn provided detailed updates each day and took incredible pics of my cat! It greatly reduces the stress of travel knowing my cat is being well cared for in her own home. Pet & Home Care did such a wonderful job in taking care of our older mixed Malti-poo Taco, and sharing with us how he was doing each day, the other dogs he was playing with and how his time was there at their lovely kennel. We were very happy with the care he received there, and would highly recommend this business.

After having questionable experiences with previous pet sitters I was referred to Montgomery pet sitters. We have 2 cats, a bunny, and a gecko. We called MPS with short notice and they took care of our family exactly as we had hoped. David was awesome and sent us photos during each visit.

In fact MoCo Pet Sitters managed to train him to bring his toys back INTO the house from the yard, as evidenced by the photo they sent us while we were away. My dog Duffy has been cared for by Montgomery Pet Sitters since we brought him home in 2014. We have used their weekly walking service, boarding and evening/weekend walks when we would be gone for a long time. Although Duffy generally loves everyone he meets, Montgomery Pet Sitter's long time employee and manager, Kris-is Duffy's most favorite human....ever. It really helps knowing that Duffy will see his favorite person and that the feeling is mutual. Kris goes out of her way to take special care of Duffy, and that makes me feel relieved and comfortable knowing he is being well taken care of. I highly recommend this company and they have really been there for us.

Montgomery Pet Sitters are loving and professional. My senior dog can’t walk very far, so they take him from his stroll. I like the extra care they give to my senior furbaby. I know he is pampered and always safe.

Bella is a sweet, older dog who is very discerning about people and unaccustomed to being without family members. She is usually wary of new people who walk her, but from the moment she met Kris- she was comfortable, anxious to go with her, and very happy to see her on subsequent visits. Kris is terrific about last minute walks, squeezing us in with little notice. She is so reliable, even braving winter weather for walks. We highly recommend her!

I am extremely appreciative of David and Montgomery Pet Sitters for taking care of my cats. I had hired Montgomery Pet Sitters to take care of my cats for two days over Christmas. Unfortunately my return plans were ruined during the Southwest Airlines debacle. I ended up getting stranded in Texas and was not able to get a return flight until three days later. During this time, David answered my calls, was extremely flexible, and made sure my cats were taken care of each day until I was able to return home. I am thankful that I didn’t have to worry about my cats during such a stressful time. I highly recommend Montgomery Pet Sitters.

I found Montgomery Pet Sitters when my other sitter backed out of watching my dogs last minute. They were super responsive, coming out to do the meet and greet within a day. Very professional from beginning to end. The most important thing is that my very rambunctious dogs loved their new sitter! They took excellent care of my dogs. I'd highly recommend them.

Retro Mutts is a wonderful service! I have been using them for about a year. Their online system is extremely easy to use, and Julia is very responsive. My dog gets great care with RetroMutts. They even send pictures of your doggie!

I HIGHLY recommend using Retro Mutts for your pups. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets. I have a high energy dutch shepherd mix and two of the worst behaved cats in the world. Ian did a great job of making sure they were well cared for and that we had nothing to worry about. We used Retro Mutts to pet sit while we were getting married. Everything went smoothly and we had nothing to worry about. Julia is incredibly professional and runs her business with care and expertise.

We had a superb experience using RetroMutts! Jessie and Alex were our dog walkers for the New Years Eve/New Years Day weekend. Each day I would receive a report with pictures of our dog, Melody. This made it so comforting in knowing she was doing just fine while we were away. Jessie and Alex were so wonderful with Melody during our meet and greet that I had a really good feeling this would all work out, and it did! Julia has been our primary Petsitter for my mini poodle since we brought him home. A year and half later our puppy loves to see Julia and her team arrive to stay and play! Julia is reliable and kind! We are so happy to have found Julia !

Julia and her sister Diana are awesome! Julia has gone above and beyond for my dog Cooper, taking him to the emergency vet and cleaning up my house after he found his way out of his crate (and into the toilet paper). They are timely and professional, and care very much about your pet! I love that they send picture and text updates about Coopers walk. I would highly recommend Retro Mutts!

I have to say that leaving our Pet with Retro Mutts was the best decision we could have made. Julia and isabel were fabulous and my family and I were so impressed and comforted knowing that each visit we would receive updates and pictures on our Minnie was doing. We were able to enjoy our vacation and also be at ease knowing that Minnie was in such excellent care. Minnie fell in love with Julia and isabel. They are loving and definitely treated our Minnie like one of their own. We have found our Pet Sitting and Dog Walkers for life!!!!

We used Retro Mutts for the first time this summer and it was a great experience. Julia and Isabel visited our dog 3 times a day while we were gone. They took great care of him and kept us updated with texts and pictures for each visit. We plan to use them again in the future and highly recommend them to others.

Julia and Ian were fantastic! They did 3 visits a day for our kitties while we were on vacation and I think our kitties were happier with them than us :-). Julia and Ian communicated with us after every visit and sent pictures of the cats. They were great and we'll continue to use Retro Mutts!

100/10 I cannot recommend On Call enough! I was always hesitant to leave my cat because he’s geriatric and requires medicine twice a day, but one meeting with Steven and Marly and we were good to go! They’re incredibly attentive, send me lots of updates (because I’m an anxious pet parent), and truly care for my cat while giving him everything he needs. I always recommend them to anyone in need of pet sitting services and will always reach out to them for as long as I live in Montgomery County!

We recently had Steven stay overnight to take care of our dog and cat, and we couldn't have been more pleased with his service. I highly recommend On Call Petsitting! Every time we’ve used them for cat sitting it has been a great experience. Antonio and Steven are very communicative and clear and Antonio always sends pictures and updates when he stops by to check on our cat. This is an outstanding Petsitting Company. I contacted them after an injury and they were able to respond and walk my dog that day. The dog walkers always arrived promptly or even early and communicated when they were on their way here. They were never late. And my dog Sasha just loved them. I could not be more impressed with this company. I don't know what I would have done without their help.

My experience with this business comes as both a petsitter, and a pet owner. Steven is highly and appropriately communicative with both his clients and his providers, making sure that everyone is on the same page and comfortable as possible. He prioritizes client needs and supports his workers with integrity and skill. Whether your furry family member has special accommodations needed, or not, every pet is met with love and individual care. I haven’t been able to take clients with MoCo since I moved out of the area, but would encourage sitters to work with them. Randee and Steven have been nothing short of amazing! They have been so patient with my reactive pup-- constantly updating me on her progress and providing photos during her walk. My previous dog walking service left me with no service at a last minute notice, Not realizing I needed a backup my sister found On call pet sitting. They quickly did a meet and greet with my puppy dog and I had service the same week. There is great communication between the dog Walker and myself and a group text. Payment is easy. I do not have to worry about a last minute no dog Walker as I have a backup already in place. I use them on a regularly basis. Give them a call your Fur baby will be happy.

Desperate for pet care with less than a week before an extended family vacation, I contacted Stephen. He responded promptly and we were able to set up a meet-and-greet quickly. We had never used a pet sitting service before and were anxious about having a stranger taking care of our fur babies, but Stephen and Carla put us at ease right away. Carla's regular updates were super comforting and she included fantastic pics! My only concern is that now I think the pets like Carla more than us...😉

I used the in-home pet sitting service for my cat, scheduled through Steven with Antonio as my pet sitter. They both met me prior to the scheduled dates for a meet and greet, and during the scheduled pet sitting days, Antonio texted updates and photos for each visit. Very convenient service at a fair and competitive price, with reliable communication - definitely recommended.

Our 5 month old Bernedoodle went for his first puppy cut at Animal Inn of Frederick yesterday. Can’t say enough about how pleased we were with the staff, and care for our pup on his first visit! They did exactly what we asked them to do and we will definitely be going back for future grooming!!

Warm and welcoming upon entry. My dog doesn’t seem rattled when we pick her up after a stay. We had her once at another kennel, never again. We will only use Animal Inn for now on.

OMG, we can't say enough about this place. They are amazing. They are fantastic, and our two dogs love going to the Anima Inn of Frederick. The staff is always welcoming and truly care for our babies. We have taken them to several places and always had an issue in one way or another... meaning one or both came home sick, or we showed up early to get them and found d they were not in the runs we had requested and promised. We love our fur babies as though they are our children, so when we travel or have to have someone watch them, the Animal Inn of Frederick is always our 1st and only choice.

We chose not to use this grooming facility since they would not offer reference’s to check. We have had a really horrible experience with a local reputable groomer who ‘had great reviews online’. The fact this place won’t offer this information makes me wonder if their reviews are legit too. The previous bad experience was devastating to my dogs.

Just check out the reviews they are sporadic and the year of the reviews are far off inbetween makes me think they have the Negative reviews removed so maybe they were once a good place from the reviews but from our experience it was traumatizing for our dogs especially Our Cavalier When we picked her up she was terrified and when we got home She would not come out of her kennel for a week that is no exaggeration something happened here. We also were there from Sunday - Sunday and was quoted $800 but on pick up was charged $1268.00 yes we have 5 dogs and 1 cat. They all minus the cat had Chronic Diarrhea for 3 weeks after they got home after staying here, I had taken them to the Vet. I'm unsure if they used the food we supplied them with or used their own. Now our dog is very terrified of big dogs so which she wasn't scared of any animals until we had them here for a week. Never again and Would not recommend.

This place is ridiculous. I brought my cat here to get groomed after making an appointment with the lady at the front desk. We made it VERY CLEAR that he wasn’t able to make it through his grooming appointment at the vet because he got overwhelmed and we were told it wouldn’t be a problem. We gave him his muscle relaxers and drove 15 mins to be turned away because the groomer was “scared” and she wasn’t told about his experience at the vet from the lady at the front desk. We also were told it would be a drop-off appointment and that we could pick him up after we got off work. WRONG the groomer stated that, “It’s stressful for cats to be in kennels for a long time so we don’t do that.” Isn’t this place a boarding facility? Absolutely ridiculous. I bought a $50 clipper and shaved him myself and he did really well. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the facility seems well-kept and it probably would have been a good experience if there was more communication and the “specialty” cat groomer wasn’t deathly afraid of my cat….

I just sent my two dogs there for their second long stay. I'm not sure what makes this kennel different from others, but they came back happy, healthy and as if I hadn't even just been gone for 10 days. This has not been true at other kennels we have used. Two walks are included in the price, but I pay for one extra walk at night as they are older and couldn't hold it from right after dinner until the morning. I will be sending them there again in two weeks for an even longer stay, so I am glad I have somewhere I feel good about leaving them.

I wait a bit until I post a review as I want to be sure about what I am recommending. We are expats and have lived in a couple of countries and have relied on a couple of "dog hotels" to shelter our furry friends while we travel overseas. Animal Inn of Frederick is one of the most professional kennels we have come across. They take excellent care of dogs and make them feel safe and comfortable. We've also had conversations with the owner and she is very responsible, professional and trustworthy and will make you feel comfortable with your decision. The kennel is clean and well taken care of, the price is great but it is the people that make the difference. If you are looking for a "dog hotel" for your furry loved ones, look no further.

I have been going to Animal Inn of Frederick for many years now. My dogs always look amazing after getting groomed there. The cost is very reasonable and the staff is always caring and attentive. Nicole is a wonderful groomer and takes such good care of our pups. I highly recommend Animal Inn for pet grooming/boarding!

We just moved here from GA and needed to board our puppy. This business is fantastic, the lobby facility was big and spacious so there was enough room to abide by covid social distancing. The owner is VERY nice, she was super welcoming and informed us they have a military discount after we explained why we were there. We ended up finding out that we couldn’t sign for our house for a couple more days and so we called to see if they could keep our puppy there for a couple more days and she was more than willing to do that. Fantastic facility, highly recommend!

I love Fetch. My cat sitter, Stephanie, takes great care of my cat. I can tell she plays with him because he starts searching for his toy when I get back from my trips. The app makes it so easy to schedule and pay for pet sitting. This service is reliable, and the people are so nice and trustworthy. I would recommend to anyone.

Would highly recommend Fetch! for pet care services. My wife and I have been using them exclusively for a couple of years now to care for our two beloved cats whenever we're out of town. Jamie, the owner and Amy, our sitter are very responsive and trustworthy. Amy is always on time and does a great job caring for our cats as well as any household related tasks like mail, bringing in trash or recycling cans, or watering plants. After every visit we get a journal update that details what was done and includes pictures, usually of her playing with our cats, who clearly know her and enjoy her visits. Also the Fetch scheduling tool is very easy to use and their pricing is very reasonable. Definitely gives us peace of mind that our pets are well cared for when we travel!

A few years ago I changed jobs, shifting from a 100% remote position to a 100% in person position. I was so happy when I found Fetch to take care of my pup when I returned to the office. The owner, Jamie, worked to match me with a regular walker from his team, set a schedule that worked for me, and arranged a meet & greet beforehand so acclimate my pup. This was especially important since my dog has some anxiety issues, so meeting before and getting comfortable was critical. It gives me such peace of mind to know my dog is well taken care of when I can't be there during the day to take her on a mid-day walk. And I get notified with a journal entry and photo after each visit. Post-pandemic, I am in the office less, but I still rely on Fetch for the days I do have to go into the office 1-2 days a week. I would truly be at a loss without Fetch, Jamie, and our fantastic walker, Donna! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy service for your pet care needs.

Fetch! is so worth it. Excellent service with giving wet food, having playtime, and sending us text and photo updates during each visit. We learned a new word from them: ZOOMIES. Had no idea that the frantic excitement our cat has running around the room was called that. The intro meeting was very informative and also good for our cat to see us all together beforehand. Jamie, Maggie, and the gang are the cat's meow. They're solid, reliable, and ready to save the day in the world of pet pampering.

What a fantastic experience we had with Fetch! We had been using a different service which was fine until this past July when we used them for a short trip we took out of town (three days). They did a horrible job and actually injured one of our cats. Fetch spent a lot of time getting to know us, our cats, and our expectations while we were gone. They matched us with a very experienced dog/cat sitter who came over before we left to also get an idea of our expectations. She was so, so, so very good! She provided us with very regular updates, gave our cats the space that they needed, spent 30 minutes each day with them and while our cats generally do not like strangers, both of them warmed up to her by the end of the trip and let her pet them! Our boy cat who was injured by the previous cat sitter really opened up, and he now not only roams the house again (he would not leave our bedroom prior to Fetch's sitter coming over after the trauma of this summer), but he gained weight while we were gone! Our very senior cats (15 years' old) are again acting like kittens and were very happy with Fetch's service. So we are also very happy. We came home to a clean house and happy cats. I cannot recommend Fetch more highly...an absolute pleasure to work with them. We have found our pet sitter for all future trips. THANK YOU!!! A+++++++!

I was thrilled to have found this service thanks to Jamie and his team's incredible customer service and communication. I really appreciated Jamie calling me and walking me through the process as someone new, and I felt very assured after speaking with him. Lisa was fantastic as a cat sitter, and my cat really immediately took to her. Lisa also did an awesome job informing me of Ray daily, which was a tremendous relief after we had a medical scare only a few weeks prior to us leaving for vacation. I cannot recommend this enough!

This company is amazing. Our sitter did a pre-visit so we could get to know her. She was so personable and really took her time to understand all the little things we do for our animals. While we were gone she visited 2 times a day for 30 minutes. Each visit we got video and pictures. On the very last day we got a "EMAIL" from our cat... it was super funny and sweet. Its these little extras that make the whole experience so amazing. Its also very affordable. Finally we have peace of mind when we leave for trips.

I've used Fetch ever since I moved to the area 6 years ago. Now that I am moving out of the area, I realized how very lucky I was to find this business. When I moved here, Fetch was recommended to me, and I didn't even look at other companies. I've had 3 walkers over the years, and all of them were great and reliable. I love that Jamie (the owner) takes a huge interest in his clients and the welfare of the animals. My dog doesn't deal well with strangers, but he liked Jamie immediately. Any time my walker was sick or away, Jamie took over my dog's walks personally. Everyone at Fetch (Jamie, the walkers, and the scheduling staff) is very responsive and very flexible. This was important to me as my schedule can be crazy. I wish I could take Fetch with me! I've contacted multiple dog-walking businesses in my new area, and only one of them had availability. I didn't realize how lucky and fortunate I was with Fetch; I trust them with my animals and my house. I would recommend Fetch to anyone without reservations, no matter what critter needs care.

Maggie, our Fetch petsitter has been so wonderful to work with. She always takes excellent care of our kitty and sends us lots of pictures (some are of the cat playing or letting us know where the cat was sunning herself, but also photos of her food bowl when we wanted to know how well she was eating and stuff like that). We always miss our kitty when we're away, but we never worry about her health or safety because we know Maggie is taking care of her.

Fetch hires dependable sitters who have a great rapport with my cats. I've trusted them for many years because they always come through for any request. Edited 4/7/24: Both of my cats became terminally ill in 2023. I was hesitant to travel because of their condition, but needed to a few times. Jamie and Lauren both went out of their way to give my cats extra care and attention while I was away.

Our pup suffers from high anxiety and takes a while to warm up to new people. Caroline has been absolutely wonderful and patient to meet and walk our dog. She is timely to respond and always on time for our weekly walks. Amazing dog walker and sitter!

We have been using Caroline/Spoiled Pawz for dog sitting and cat care for the last few years and she's wonderful! We have an anxious dog, but he is always happy to go into her home and never hesitates. She has a big yard and dogs are able to go in and out as they please. I feel like she offers genuine care and kindness towards our animals and they are always happy to see her. We are grateful to have this option available for when we travel and highly recommend it!

Caroline has been great with my two pups. They get excited when she comes to walk them. She is flexible with my changing schedule. Caroline is amazing, I have a hyper, dog/cat aggressive 105 pound Doberman that she accepted without hesitation. My walks are easier because of the leash training that Scotty has received from her. I had surgery in December '21 and she walked him for 6 weeks straight, 3 x per day, early in the morning, noon and late at night while I recovered. Her dedication is tremendous, she is very trustworthy and I highly recommend her services!

Sharon does a wonderful job with our sometimes stubborn walker! She ensures he gets the much needed attention and outdoor time on days we are away at work. She does a good job working with his capabilities and attitude on a given day which might be more ball time in the backyard versus a long walk. She is also very attentive to our dog's needs and makes sure to refill his water. Sharon has been great at accommodating our irregular schedules, and is a great communicator. We always receive a confirmation so we know we are on the schedule and receive cute photos and updates from each visit. We highly recommend Sharon to anyone in the area!

She has never been left for more than 6 hrs. So, leaving her for a few days was both new to us & her. Sharon, Mitch & family did an amazing job. Sharon, Mitch and their family did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, 2 cats, 10 chickens and watering the garden while on our family vacation. During the hottest time of the year she kept everyone cool. Even tho we were in another country our ongoing communication for any animal needs showed her attention to detail and gave us peace of mind. By sending us a few photos to let us know that all was being taken care of and we didn’t need to worry. Sharon will treat your animals like they are her own . We hired Sharon to take care of our cats when were out of state for the weekend, and she did a great job! It was easy to schedule the sessions and she was quick to reply to any questions we had (both before and after the meet and greet visit). Our cats all have different diets/eating habits, so they're not the easiest to care for, but I felt like our cats were in great hands. Thanks again, Sharon!
