Elizabeth has been our dog walker/pet sitter since 2023. Our dog, Charlie, needs 3 walks a day and Elizabeth takes good care of him. He gets exercise and enjoys time in her company. She is also great when our fire alarms went off in our house during our last trip. She disarmed them and sent pictures. We were happy she was able to take care of the problem. She is a great communicator and I highly recommend her to those who want to leave their animal with a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Elizabeth is a fantastic dog sitter. She is very responsible and reliable. My dogs always seem happy when they are in her care. Much better than leaving them at an impersonal kennel. Zoe and Nacho love spending time with Elizabeth. I would highly recommend her.

Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn’t always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)

We’ve relied on Elizabeth for years to take care of our pets and house while away. Guinea pigs, fish, dog - she does it all and keeps an eye on the house. We’ve used her for weekends to over a month. Always reliable and responsive. Pets are well cared for and happy. Good value, good and reasonable service. Highly recommended and much preferred to a kennel.

Elizabeth has been watching our first rescue dog Nico since we got him in 2021, and now our latest addition, Vinny. As with a lot of rescues, ours had some social/ behavioral issues in the beginning, but Elizabeth is an expert. She knows how to work with and around those issues and also make recommendations. The controlled socialization our dogs get when staying overnight with Elizabeth have been immensely helpful to their training. They come home pooped and happy from all the playing! She also offers reasonable pricing and flexible scheduling. If you’re in the Davis area, highly recommend giving Elizabeth a call.

Elizabeth loves our dogs and cats like they're her own and they are always excited to see her! Ashleys is excellent. All three cats receive individual attention and any accidents or medications are professionally and politely dealt with. The on-line appointment and payment system is convenient and easy to use. Out pets are very well cared for while we are away!

I'm a veterinarian who has been using Ashley's pet sitting services consistently for at least five years. She and her team are so reliable! Once when I was traveling in 2018, my house was broken into, and thankfully the dogs were not let out by the burglars. Amazing service! We were traveling for a week, and Ashleys Pawsome Pet Sitting took great care of our 2 cats. Cassidy was great, we received daily pictures of our kitties, and we could tell they really liked her. I’m definitely using them again!

My husband booked a second honeymoon in Cancun and I was anxious. I didn't know what we were going to do about care for our baby, Scarlett. A coworker recommended Ashley's Pawsome Pets and we are so thankful. They are bonded and they are background checked. We had a meet and greet with our sitter. Which I appreciated so much. Our sitter, Amanda, was absolutely wonderful. She came twice a day and was so attentive to Scarlett. I couldn't have asked for better! She is amazing! My favorite thing is they have a journal with pictures so you know everything that happens with your fur baby. My only con would be the extra fees that aren't 100% transparent. The service is pricey, (but worth it), however, when I went to pay the bill, there was an added fee for administration and then again for credit cards (which I use for security.,) I'm willing to pay whatever is needed for the care of my pet, but it was a tad surprising. Thar said, they are amazing snd we love Amsnda! We will be using them again in the future! The service is outstanding!! The attached pictures are from Amanda's very detailed journals!

We have used Ashley's Pawsome Pet sitting for every single vacation we've taken the past year and greatly appreciate the services of her staff. As someone prone to worrying, the pet journals and photos her sitters take and send daily are wonderful. While I have only had two different sitters, they are always kind, professional, and follow instructions well. I feel like my cat is in good hands when I hire a pet sitter through her.

We have left two different dogs in Ashley's care. Each time, we had so much confidence about how they were faring while we were traveling (in large part because Ashley sends pictures showing how comfortable and happy they are in her home; she sends sweet messages, too). Every aspect of the visit went exactly as planned; her website is easy to use and very informative. All in all, a very professional transaction with a very loving caregiver.

Our 2 black kitties are our pride and joy and we hate to leave them but now, in our retirement years, we are finally able to travel. After asking neighbors to feed our kitties, we tried Ashleys Pawsome and are VERY happy! We can schedule half-hour or longer sessions which include feeding, catbox cleaning and playing with our furry kids. Ashley was wonderful with our 3 dogs and cat for the two days we were away. She sent me pics of all of them each time she visited them during the day and I can say, they looked really happy! We've never left them before, so this was a fantastic experience for us, but mainly our dogs enjoyed her so much as well! Will for sure use your services in the future.

River dogs resort is absolutely amazing! I am a bit overly protective of my dog and I never hesitate to leave him at River dogs resort. He can tell when we’re pulling into their driveway and is immediately excited. He gets to play with lots of friendly dogs all day and I never have to worry about how he is doing. The owner, Dina, is a true dog lover and treats all the dogs as if they are her own. She is flexible and always looking out for what will be best for your dog. My dog is an 85 pound German shepherd mix who has lots of energy and he always comes home happy and tired. You should look no further if you want a place your doggo will love.

River Dogs is a home-away-from-home for our 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Emma. She is always in a good mood after we pick her up. River Dogs is considered a second home for my dogs. I have been a faithful client for over two years (2-3 days a week) and have only great things to say. The owner Dina, and all of the other staff at River Dogs ensure that my dogs are safe and looked after, that they have fun and come home tired, and that I have complete peace of mind when they are under their care. River Dogs is the best! our dog loves it there and the owner is so nice and helpful and loves dogs! our flight was canceled at Christmas and rescheduled for days later after we had already dropped our dog off. River Dogs extended our kennel time so we could spend longer with family and took such good care of her. so helpful and understanding!!!!! will always go there!!!

Yep, a 5 star review for Dina and River Dog Resort! We needed a last minute fun and safe spot for our 12 yo American Foxhound and were so happy Dina had an opening for Chuck. Shortly after arriving, Chuck was adventurous and tried to escape by scaling a fence but Dina did not let that affect her ability to provide safe and loving care for his stay. Upon our return she told us what happened and figured out solutions for his next stay communicating in a professional, caring and understanding way. We are impressed and highly recommend RDR!

Our boxer Abbey LOVES going to see Miss Dina every week! Abbey always has such a fun time playing with her dog buddies. We also board our dog here a few times a year and always know she will be very well taken care of. River Dogs Resort is such a great location and we will never go anywhere else!

Dina and her staff have been taking care of our two large dogs for about 5 years now! They were always responsive and easy to do pick ups and drop offs. The pups were always well cared for, happy to go(could not wait to get taken back to play!!), and exhausted when we picked them up! We were very sad to move away because it was such a wonderful gift to have found such a caring place for our fur-babies! I recommend them without any hesitation!!!

We have always been a let's-find-a-house-sitter type family. We were in a pinch and River Dogs came to the rescue! We have ditched a house sitter completely now, as our rambunctious golden puppy loves to wrestle and play in their large yard while our small dog hangs out, snuggles and shares kisses with Dina. Chelsea knows everything there is to know about dogs. She’s been a trainer, a vet tech and more. She’s truly passionate about animals, especially dogs, and it shows. When your pet stays with Chelsea she treats it like her own. She’s been helping watch and train my Boxer Blu since we got him as a puppy. He’s aggressive around other dogs with me but not with Chelsea — he’s perfectly behaved because she knows dogs personalities and what to watch for. She’s not only watched him when we were out of town (sending pictures of him playing with other dogs, water play on hot days, sleeping on her bed with her dogs), but she’s offered me training and veterinary tips for free! His excitement when we see her says it all — I love not having to worry when we’re out of town because he’s in the best care. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Chelsea for anyone who wants quiet care for their pet. It’s definitely worth the drive to her place.

A few days before Christmas and they had room. Remembered our dog's name just based on the e-mail request I sent. Quick to respond. Let my daughters walk little Peanut to her kennel and put her inside. We always bring a towel or blanket from home for her to sleep on and it's never a problem. Always put our dog in 1 of the 1st 2 or 3 kennels so she can still see us from the parking lot. It's like she has a reserved spot when we board her.

Best Kennel in Sacramento Area. We are traveling across the country in our RV and needed to fly back to NY. We were so stressed about boarding our furry daughter Bella for 5 days! We called to check on Bella and the staff and Deena the owner spoke with us and sent us a picture of Bella in her kennel. When we picked Bella up it was obvious they spent some time with Bella and gave her some loving. Bella got 2 walks a day. A drizzle of Olive oil on her food and a few good belly rubs. We boarded our bunny here and Deena was wonderful with her! It was out first time boarding her and we were nervous on how she would do. Deena went above and beyond to make Ruthie comfortable. She was flexible on dates and time for pick up. We will absolutely use Arrowpoint again!

A good price, but we housed 3 dogs in one kennel together and the cost was all the same. Walks were an extra fee as well. Overall they were very responsive and dogs had no issues.

Great staff, clean kennels, always helpful in taking our girl especially with an unexpected emergency where we needed to drop her off on a holiday weekend and they made room for her! Very grateful for arrowpoint.

Very friendly staff & excellent service! My dogs are happy to go to Arrowpoint Kennels & happy when they come home... I had tried another kennel on road 98 prior to finding arrow ArrowPoint and the second time I took my dogs there they were scared to get out of the car and didn't want to stay there (not to mention, they did not look happy when I picked them up) besides the place is all run down and shabby looking. But that is definitely not the case with arrow ArrowPoint! I highly recommend ArrowPoint Kennels if you want your fur babies well taken care of! 🐕🐕

I think my three dogs were fine with their stay, they all seemed happy. It's very clean. I didn't explore the kennel area but will next time. My dogs were there for 3 days. They sent me pics on the first day. I will use this kennel again.

One of the only places we trust to leave our slightly reactive dog. It is a bit out of the way for us, but the peace of mind that she will come back exactly as we left her is worth it. She is well taken care of. The photos are a nice bonus

I waited a while and now our dogs have had multiple stays here. Basically, it's wonderful! I've been on three surprise tours and they've all been great! My timid dog has gotten more and more comfortable and happy to get there. We did a few warm up days with him and then overnights before a long trip. My outgoing dog has always just loved it! I love the people there, they always do their very best to help me, 100% of the time. Also, several times I've been there people have insisted on leaving additional tips because they are so grateful to have their dog well taken care of... which I completely understand. Thank you!!!

I recommend Happy Paws Kennels for your fur baby or babies :) The process to check in for boarding was really easy and quick. Plus, they have a new office located beyond the gates, which is always nice because you'll have a chance to see the other happy dogs that are boarded there. They were also very communicative and made it easy for bookings. They also gave me complimentary baths at the end of their stay, which was very nice! One feedback that I would add is that I wish they would send pictures of the dogs as a compliment to the stay. A suggestion for Happy Paws is to provide the options for clients to choose the option of receiving pictures and updates during the stay. I think that will really enhance and add value to the experience. Overall, the experience was great, and my dogs seemed happy.

Boarded my dog here for 2 nights, and it was a very good experience! Friendly, experienced staff. This is a very clean facility and the dogs get plenty of excercise(weather permitting)!

Where to begin…I dropped my dogs off yesterday and my truck decided to just die right then and there. The team was SO fantastic and helpful trying to get it up and going. Above and beyond thoughtfulness. I can’t thank them all enough for the help and genuine concern. Getting to what their business actually offers — Our dogs LOVE it here - we are new to the area so have only done day visits so far, but I am sleeping well at night knowing they are here while I’m away for the first time. Stacy is ABSOLUTELY the most caring, thoughtful and thorough pet sitter that we have had! We have had overnights with many steps that our pups need (dog mom imposed I guess!) and Stacy never said anything was too much. Rather, Stacy understands that dogs are our kids - and they deserve the best care and love. She has a ton of affection and patience even for our “problem child” and loves all animals no matter their personalities. In a world where it’s so difficult to find pet sitters that really go the extra mile and not have to worry about anything - Stacy is a god send! I could take about how amazing Stacy K is ALL day. My husband and I have 3 dogs, and have always struggled to find good a good sitter for them in the past. When we met Stacy almost 2 years ago, our dogs have never received better care, and we have never felt so stress free while leaving town because we know that our babies are in the best hands. So far so good! We have a reactive and skittish dog so we were very worried about getting a sitter that could keep her happy and safe. She has now met the whole team and is very happy for the attention they've given. We were kept apprised of the progress through very detailed updates after each visit along with pictures which we could see our pup getting happier and happier. We have another big trip coming up but because of the extra attention our pup got before/during the last visit I'm already very confident that their team will keep her happy and healthy!

We have used Kelsey's Companion Care for several years. Kelsey and her crew provide outstanding care to our two rambunctious calicos. They provide text updates for each visit; litter boxes are always clean upon our return; they provide indoor kitty Olympics and play time; and all is neat and clean upon our arrival home. The administrative stuff (reservations, invoicing) is clear and concise and a summary is always provided on the counter upon our return. Additionally, they take care of the mail and newspapers. We would highly recommend KCC for anyone wanting professional, quality pet care.

We are very pleased with this pet service! They are extremely loving and gentle with our dog while reinforcing good pet manners. We needed a little pet assistance a day or two each week and they were the perfect solution for our busy family. The professionalism and reliability couldn't be better. Jake loves his midday walk. A dear friend of mine recommended Kelsey's Companion Care (KCC). I am so glad that she did. We have a 3+ year old "special needs" cat. This was his first experience being cared for by someone other than a family friend. Due to his health status, I was very anxious about leaving him but, by the time we left for our trip, I was convinced that we were leaving him in good hands. I have only superlatives to offer when it comes to reviewing KCC. Kelsey, Rachelle and Michelle made the care visits to our home. Everyday, I received text messages about how our cat was doing and on some days, they sent photos. Everything was going well until the day that we arrived home. As we were flying home, we did not receive text messages due to "airplane mode" requirements until we landed. Rachelle visited that morning and reported to Kelsey that things just didn't seem right. Kelsey made a second visit in the early afternoon because she was concerned about our cat's health. She assessed the situation and took our cat to our veterinary specialist in Sacramento. As it turns out, the cat had developed pancreatitis (something that just "happens" not associated with the quality of his care at home). The emergency veterinarian on duty was very impressed with Kelsey as it was that practice's first experience with KCC and our cat survived in part because Kelsey took him to the specialty practice promptly. During the entire week that our cat was hospitalized, Kelsey and I exchanged text messages as she was concerned about him. Needless to say, I highly recommend this professional, kind, compassionate and trustworthy service.

Kelsey and her team are wonderful and my dog absolutely adores her! They all genuinely love their jobs, are excellent at it, they’re very reliable, and reasonably priced. I recommend her to anyone and everyone.

We have used Kelseys for several years for both of our dogs and chickens while on vacation. They were very professional and took great care of them. We would even get updates and pictures while on our trip.

Took our Golden to the splash pad night. They had the nicest facility!! So much room for the dogs to run around in, very clean and no broken toys/furniture. My golden had so much fun and I will definitely be signing her up for a day care session.

Great place to take your dog for day care or swim fun. I've taken my bullmastiff to day care and open swim. She lived both and came home tired and happy. Bit expensive buy you're paying for good care of your dog. I really appreciate that they screen your pet and have separation of different temperaments. Open swim in wknds is great and pretty cheap at $10 per dog. I highly recommend and will be back often. They have boarding service too, but I've never used it.

We rented the pool with some dog park friends and had a blast. The staff are very friendly and the pool was ready to have our pack of dogs rage. Some seating provided, bring a towel for yourself and wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked because the dogs will shake all over you!

Our baby loves her stays here and comes home happy having played with dogs for a week while we go on vacation.. take your baby here and see how great this place is!! 💙🙏🤙 See healthy happy tired.. good girl. …

The staff here is great! Our pup had an amazing day swimming here, we are planning on coming back for daycare :) (And I must say... It's so refreshing to find a place where pitbulls are treated equally!)

I took my dog, Huffy, to the Animal Den for their open swim. She had a blast! All the doggies loved the pool and I got to enjoy some wine while she played. It was a win all around! My only gripe is the admission fee is $10. The fee is reasonable but it does keep us from going as frequently as we would like!

My dog has been going here for daycare 4 days a week for the last year and is so happy and excited whenever we arrive. Previous places we went for daycare I could see him on camera just sitting by the gate wanting to leave, and he was never eager to walk through the door. I think the staff here have gotten to know him and what makes him happy to be there so he feels much more comfortable. They also do cute holiday activities and dogs of the week which are adorable extra touches. Overall it’s been a great experience!

Such nice and caring individuals! They can accommodate almost anything! Very patient and compassionate for not only the fur babies but the fur parents as well! As for my Meeko he is having the time of his life for his first time. He is literally smiling. Great decision to board him here. I would high recommend this place!

They have been taking care of my loved ones for nearly 40 years. I've never boarded my dogs anywhere else and hope I never have to. They give great care and love and my dogs have fun there. And I have peace of mind.

Was assured by owner that staff would respect and secure my home and they did not. Front door was left unlocked while walker was out with my dog and back door left unlocked and open when they left. Staff also forced my fearful dog into a harness before earning their trust, sent me a report photo of her looking extremely uncomfortable in my kitchen. I let them go after four days and would not recommend them to anyone

I have trusted the care of my furry friends to Janet and her team for 16 years now. They have been through a lot with me and my cat crew - saying hello to new furry faces and some goodbyes too. I realize as I begin to think about traveling again, that using Janet and Lucky Buddy to take care of Finn while I am away is critical to me feeling comfortable. When it comes to the pets who depend on me, I have a hard time assuming that "no news is good news", so I really love the daily photos and updates. The staff is really proactive about the pet's comfort, and I know I could count on Janet to do anything needed. That's really important to me when I am out of town and sometimes very far away.

I’ve been having Janet and her team care for my sweet dog Diamond for years. I enjoy the updates they give me via email each time they visit her and I’m away, along with a sweet photo of my dog. I can tell they are people who truly care for animals and I like when they bring attention to any concerns they’ve noticed with her. They have always been accommodating to the schedule that I have and I truly appreciate them.

In a word, amazing! I had a serious medical emergency and was hospitalized with no notice. Janet and the team stepped in the same day and took care of my pup for days until I was able to return home. Thank you Lucky Buddy Petcare!

Janet and her team are really in love with animals. I’ve petsat for friends and colleagues and the overall vibe from this small group of dedicated part-timers is an appreciation of your home and your animals’ comfort in it. They also are mindful of bro gong in packages/mail and watering plants, so bonus. Also, they include pictures and little fun reports on the pets’ “state of mind” Worth it every time.

Janet is awesome and we love being able to rely on her and her team to take care of our fur babe. Thank you for loving him as much as we do!
