Best place to send your dog. Carrie and her team are brilliant. They have always taken such good care of Lana. Lana goes there 1 day a week, every week and loves it. Its helped with her socialising since she was a pup, bonus is she is wrecked after a day of playing. Plus she has stayed with Carrie multiple times, who is brilliant with dogs. Couldn't recommend them enough.

The best place ever for either a groom or a stay, my dog is always so happy to go to Ava and comes home just as happy after a lovely stay. Ava is fab at keeping in touch, sending photos, updates and answering any questions. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else!

Carrie and team provide an excellent service. The furry ones come home exhausted after a day of play. Excellent daycare.

My little Cavachon Woody stayed here for a week recently and the care he got was fantastic, he just loved Maureen and Shauna. When I picked him up he was all groomed and a very happy boy. I was able to see the whole kennel area and the kennel where Woody would be housed. The kennels are very spacious and very clean with a safe space outside for dogs to run around. I would definitely use again and would highly recommend.

My three dogs had lots of fun here. The hostesses were lovely friendly people and cared so much for each dog as if it was their own. Amazing wee place. Rescheduled for later this year again. I know my dogs are safe and well looked after here.

First time leaving my dog in kennels and we were quite nervous but the staff at Baileys really put me and my nervous dog at ease! The whole set up is brilliant and the dogs have sooo much space and get one on one attention! My dog did not want to leave when I picked him up! We will definitely be back! I cannot recommend enough!

Best dog kennels - Maureen and Shuna are just brilliant. My wee Penelope gets so excited when she realises where we are going and literally jumps out of the car and runs in when we get there. Such a great place with staff who genuinely love the dogs and their work. It's like a home from home for my Penelope.

Our dog has just returned from her 3rd stay. Happy and content as always. We couldn't fault the kennels and always return to a very well cared for happy dog. Highly recommended.

Our Pops just came home from a 10 day visit to Baileys Pad. She was absolutely knackered. Must have been run off her feet. Thanks again for taking care of her and will see you next time !!

We left our Dog Bailey for 7 days over Christmas while we visited an elderly relative. Our Dog is a big breed, an old English sheep dog. We left treats and his grooming brush, a new bed and a stocking full of toys. We hoped Bailey would be happy and safe. However on return we went to pick Bailey up and found we were early. The lady seemed quite shocked to see us. She told us our dog had messed his bed and that she had washed it and he had wet his cage. Bailey is very well housetrained and has never messed in the house. We were surprised and could only put that possibility down to pining. Which he has never done before in any kennel. When she brought our dog in he was soaked in urine and fecies. We were very very upset and disappointed. While we realise our dog is a long coated breed and don't expect him to look like a paint add . We do expect him to be clean. Once we got him home we immediately showered him and realised the fecies was dried into his coat around his back end and would have been there for quite a while. It was apparent it was not just from an overnight accident. His coat ran with rancid urine. Needless to say we will not be using this kennel again and advise others not to do so. We only caught this because we were early . Doubtless our dog may well have been washed before we saw him had we arrived at the expected time and we would never have known that he had not been cared for to the appropriate level. ☹

Brilliant kennels.i was very worried having to put Poppy in kennels again as the first time she went in she came out in a sorry state .this time I found Baileys pad and booked her in and Iam so glad I did .Poppy came out a very happy dog clean and had not lost weight and clearly had had a good time .thank you to all the staff.i will be and have done twice recommending you .A thank you

Maureen is such a lovely calm person who loves dog's of all kinds and she keeps in touch with you with wee snippits of your babies and how they are getting on!! My 2 Poms have never been left and are so petted on me and the rest of the family but they are doing well and have come round! Where every dog has its day! The best service at Doggie Day Centre for my spaniel Mo. He absolutely loves his time here! The staff are so knowledgeable, thoughtful and passionate about what they do, I know my dog is well taken care of in their capable hands when I leave him for the day. I also adore the products available, 10/10 for quality and my dogs are very contented customers with the Approved Raw feed sold here.

I'm so happy with Doggy Daycare for my little Tibetan spaniel cross, Finn. Nigel is dedicated to his dogs and my boy just loves the interaction with the other pooches. Thank you so much.

Great secure safe place to leave your dog to play with other dogs for a half day or full day. Also boarding if you are away which also includes the day centre for play.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Owner is absolutely horrible speaks to his staff like dirt and infront of customers too! Horrible "man" and shouldn't be running a business..

We have been using Tracey’s excellent services since 2020 and highly recommend her. We feel her services are so much better than leaving our cats in a cattery, especially as one of our cats is extremely nervous and timid, when we return from a holiday our cats are happy, relaxed and quite content. Tracey is 100% trustworthy, reliable and fully experienced, we are very comfortable with her calling at our home daily when we are away and confident our cats are well looked after and given the attention they need.

Tracey is reliable and professional. Most importantly my dogs are very happy and settled with her. Highly recommended service!

Cannot recommend Barbara enough, wee Daisy Hunter had another fantastic holiday with Auntie Barbara and her gang. Brilliant relaxed home from home care which takes away any worries leaving the (v spoilt) baby behind. Plenty of walks and the company of other dogs also helps with Daisy's socialising and she sleeps for days when she gets home.. 😁👍🐾

Fantastic home-from-home service, Barbara cared for our dog like he was her own and sent us lots of photo updates of his adventures. He is always excited to go back! Highly recommended.

Dogwood Pet Resort is the best place to leave your pets if you have to go away and can't take them. It's not usual boarding kennels, it's an adventure holiday for your dogs! You can book additional fun like Happy Hills or Woodland Treks and special dinners for your four-legged family members! I was worried because Oscar is a senior dog that I only rescued a year ago and I was afraid he'll be scared. But he loved it! I could see on his face that day 2 he got round to it. And yes you get daily update pictures from their walkies, play parks, treks, dinners,... So you know they're being taken care of! I can't stress it enough. Dogwood is amazing!

My father recently dropped off 3 family labradors to Dogwood for a week. The person we usually use was fully booked and dogwood was positively recommended to us. This was our first and last kennel experience. The process to get the dogs in was gruelling and my father was interrogated and belittled when dropping the dogs off. Further, he was not able to view the ‘family suite’ the dogs would be staying in nor was he given measurements of the space when asked. The female did not reassure him that the dogs were going to be looked after by dog friendly and dog loving people. A few days later whilst away we got an email stating that one of the labradors was displaying ‘aggressive’ behaviour when they tried to leash him (not using the dogs own leads) and therefore they would not be walking him for the rest of the trip. The dog in question was the least likely of the group to ever display aggression and this was extremely out of character. On collection of the dogs they would not let my father into the kennels to retrieve said aggressive dog and managed to get him on a lead and bring him out. Presumably so he didn’t see where they were staying. Subsequently since the dogs had got home they were very quiet and not themselves for a good few days required a lot of TLC. We are a well travelled family and we have never experienced this with them before. I would not recommend dog wood and would urge people to explore all other options before picking here. We strongly felt that this is purely a business that is money focused and does not have your pet or family in mind.

I payed for my dog to stay for two weeks. After a couple of days whilst we were abroad we got a email telling us to remove our dog from the kennels by end of business that day because he was barking. We never got a refund for the rest of the time he wasn't there. Nobody returned our calls. That's not what I call amazing or five star. We were harassed by staff because the person we managed to get to take our dog was a few minutes past five pm in collecting him. If you want to enjoy your holiday and know that your dog is in caring hands go elsewhere.

Left my 9month old lab puppy in for 16nights last July holiday was booked before we got her. Had left her in a few play n stay days and one overnight to get her used to the place. Paid over 500 pounds as any pup needs good excercise I was concerned that she wasn’t ever going to be off the lead my pup is so good off lead with other dogs in open spaces so I paid any extra 100 pounds for her to have 30mins of playtime 5 times while in there. When I dropped her off I just had a bad feeling I contacted while away and was told for a detailed update I would need to pay extra. I’d already paid almost 500 and send with her own food. Any pics of there fb page she just looked stressed. When I picked her up I was told that the last two night of her stay she barked and she wouldn’t be welcome back. I actually had another 2nights booked for sept and had to ring back to get my money back for it. Once home my pup actually had cuts on her legs and face and what seemed like a bite mark on her mouth. Unfortunately it was the only place available which should have sent alarm bells in fact one week before I was rinign round other kennels to see if any spaces had become available. The owner is not a dog person nor a people person just in it for the money. The funny thing was after they told me they she wasn’t allowed back the next day they put pics of my dog on their fb page showing how great a time she had had. I didn’t even respond but have told any one and everyone not to use there.

Dogwood Pet Resort was given a glowing report by friends of our whose dog stays there without any issue. This was not our experience at all. Over the past 50 years of dog ownership any kennels we have taken our dogs to offered to show us the dog's space when staying there and other spaces where the dog would be playing and exercising with other resident dogs. Not so Dogwood. When making the booking I was asked if the dog had previous kennel experience which was definitely the case (2 different kennels). There was no indication at all of what was to follow. I arrived with dog, dog's bedding and favourite toy. Once the checking in procedure was complete I was told they wouldn't accept the dog's bedding, nor the dog's toy nor the dog's lead.! I was apprehensive but thought it must be OK and asked to see the space where the dog would be staying but was told not policy to allow public beyond the counter at reception. It was only for one night so what could go wrong. When we collected our dog were were interrogated by the person whom I assumed was the owner of the business as to where the dog slept in our house. On asking why we were told our dog was very barky. Apparently staff sleep above the kennels and one staff member had to get up twice during the night to see why our dog was barking. I suggested if the dog had its own bedding it might have been less anxious. Apparently in pervious times some pet's bedding was "so disgusting" one couldn't be sure of what creatures might be brought into the kennels. The deposit was £60 and our bill for 2 days/1 night was £50. There was no refund of the balance but it could be used towards future payments! The owner didn't say not to ever book our dog with them again but it was certainly made clear that if we were to book again they would probably not have any room. Not to worry our dog will not be staying there again. Our dog was extremely skittish when we got it home and took a long time to settle. Research shows this behaviour could be attributed to stress and anxiety. Obviously some dogs adapt well to staying a Dogwood but not ours. Also I do not appreciate being spoken to like a misbehaving school child. Happy to take the money but not give any respect. Our dog as since spent time in other kennels where, without asking, we were shown the sleeping area etc and they accepted the dog's bedding, toys etc and it is obvious the dog had a comfortable and happy stay. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Dogwood Pet Resort.

Our boy has been going to dogwood since he was 4 months old - he’s now turning 2!! Everyone at Dogwood really cares about the doggies and make sure they have an amazing time. We have used so many of their services including daycare, boarding, training and additional walks and food and we couldn’t recommend their service more. We have actually recommended to lots of people we have met out and about and to friends with dogs and they have also raved about how fab Dogwood is! Thank you everyone at Dogwood! Doug always has the best time with you all. We feel so comfortable leaving him with you any time.

My dog has been staying at Dogwood since she was a puppy. She is now 8. Daisy loves Dogwood and Dogwood love Daisy. She goes in happy and comes home happy. She is very well looked after, well fed, well groomed and well exercised. I have never had any issues, and can go on holiday and relax, knowing she is safe and content. I would highly recommend Dogwood ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I left my two dogs here today for the first time. The staff were friendly and happy to answer my many questions! I’ve never left them with anyone outside of the family before and was worried they wouldn’t settle. Photos were soon uploaded to social media and I felt a lot more content, they were having a great time! They came home exhausted and it’s obvious they had a brilliant day at dogwood. We will return soon.

We regularly holiday throughout the year and always book our dog into Dogwood. We’ve been doing so for the last 2 years. We chose Dogwood on the recommendation of a family member and we’re so glad we did. The whole team are so friendly and accommodating, they go above and beyond. When we tell our dog he’s going on his holidays he gets so excited. As soon as we open the door and take him into reception he’s hyper! That just shows how much he loves it! We know that he will be well cared for and looked after. He gets the chance to socialise with other dogs and burn off loads of exercise. He totally spoilt while he is away and we can’t thank the team for all they do! When it’s time to collect him doesn’t want to come home!!

We really like this place. Peter is great with our dogs and they come home fully tired out.

Really happy with Donnas paw parade. My we dog loves to see her and the service provided is excellent.My wee pup is still too young for long walks, but Donna even took him to the vet for me when i was at work to get his final vaccinations. He also learnt a new trick, to roll over after lying down.. which is amazing. He will certainly be a regular in another week when he can go for walks. Highly recommended.
