A little nervous about leaving our puppy in a home other than ours for the first time. But Janine was attentive , caring and loving with our Dudley. Don’t normally write reviews but in this case, I had to make an exception. My dog Luna is like my child so the idea of dropping her off at one the boarding centers seems like dropping her off at jail. It used to make traveling a nightmare. Then I met Janine and Dog Days of Gulfport. It’s very clear from the first moment that you introduce your dog that she cares more about your dog that she does you. (That’s a good thing) Compared to some of the other “Dog Hotel” businesses that care about you and your money and not your dog. She tracks feeding times, walking, schedules, personality quirks, and when you come back to pick up, she will probably tell you something about your dog that you never noticed. It’s extremely reassuring knowing that she will take better care of your dog than you do. (And I pamper the shit out of my dog) Her duty of care is fantastic but something that genuinely impressed me was how flexible she is. I had something come up unexpectedly that required me be in another part of the country the following day. I called Janine and she changed her plans for the day so that she could meet me during a tight window of time on a Sunday.

Although my wife and I are veteran cat owners, we recently faced a conundrum when planning a weekend trip up to Georgia for a wedding. For the first time in several years, we are sharing a home with two very young cats—Sage, eighteen months, and Green Grover, six months. Because of this, we weren’t sure what our best alternative was as far as finding care for them while we were away, as we had no idea how either of them would react to a long weekend outside both of their individual comfort zones. Boarding them at a vet seemed like a bad idea as well, as they have become remarkably bonded to one another, and we just didn’t want to have to separate them. Sheila solved all our problems better than we could have hoped. Although our older cat proved to be initially shy, Sheila quickly won him over, turning one of the biggest potential question marks of our weekend into eagerly anticipated photos and text updates twice per day. She more than just came through for us, she came through for the cats as well. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Sheila has been taking care of my pups since 2008. I was recently "adopted" by a dachshund mix that has quite the attitude but loves Sheila !! He is MY FAMILY and I am very picky about caregivers for him. I don't worry or stress when he is with Sheila for I know she treats him as her own family. He gets lots of love and attention and he loves when Sheila takes him for walks or overnight stays. Sheila sends me updates on his activities and pictures of him that make me smile and keep me from worrying. I wouldn't leave him with anyone else and highly recommend Sheila .

Sheila is a wonderful person to watch your pet. She goes above and beyond doing extras that no other pet sitter does. (giving my dogs a bath). I needed to stay and extra day and she was able to do this. My dogs loved her and she is great with multiple pets. I have 3 dogs and will be utilizing her services again.

Our dog had an amazing first day at J. Tails in Saint Pete! We love to support a local business in our community and they are such a cool local doggie daycare! My process for making sure everything was ready for our pup Reba was easy using the website they have available for signing up. Reba’s first day was free which was really awesome, and makes the experience risk free. It’s important to have your dog’s vaccines up to date, and then I just took a picture of the records and uploaded them to their doggie portal. Then when you go to sign your dog up for anything you can go online, pay for the day, pay for extra treats, etc and it’s all ready and organized for you. That way when you go to get your dog, there’s no cash or cards you need to take out & hand over while you’re trying to get your dog(s) at the end of the stay. The prices are great, the daycare is definitely smaller in terms of the number of dogs, which was great for us because our dog is a little intimidated by being in a high volume daycare. Listen I know that may make me sound like I’m a crazy dog lady! But I think some would understand that our dog is a Pit Mix, so it can be stressful for dog owners with Pitties to drop them off at the groomers or daycare because of the misconceptions about the breed. If she barks or gets anxious, I have seen some people react out of fear. But we have worked very hard on training her for a year and we know how loving and sweet she is. So it was a huge huge relief that everyone at J. Tails was understanding and went above & beyond to make us feel they were familiar with dogs like her— sweet and gentle dogs, but with lots of energy and often misunderstand. When I dropped off Reba I spoke with Mattie who was so kind! They helped Reba adjust to the new smells and environment before I left and they were so thoughtful and kind. During Reba’s temperament test and daycare visit, they texted us a picture of Reba in the kiddie pools having a blast with an awesome update of how she was doing! That was so sweet because I love seeing her having fun with the dogs instead of worrying if she is behaving or scared. When we went to pick her up, she was so excited to see us and she wasn’t scared at all. The folks at the front desk told us how much they loved her and that they had a great day getting to meet her. Seriously just the sweetest people working there, and you can tell everybody there are absolutely wonderful dog people who make sure your dog is safe AND having fun all day. They made us smile because they truly care about your animal. So we were very impressed. We are J. Tails customers now for sure! We used to bring our dog to a bigger less structured doggie daycare and we noticed that her behavior was regressing. By that I mean she was barking a lot more at people, she was nervous often, and though she did like going, she came home stressed and smelling like floor cleaner/sanitizer from the kennels. So we were really surprised and happy that by the time we got her in the car we noticed she didn’t smell like anything! I think her getting to go in the kiddie pool might have even made her smell cleaner than before we dropped her off 😂. Everything from the caring and thoughtful customer service, the easy enrollment and payment system, to the fact that you can watch live video feed of the dogs playing while they are at daycare (accessible only if you have a dog registered for that day)… We were just very happy and so impressed. Our family LOVES J Tails now and we highly recommend this daycare if you are looking for somewhere to bring your pup.

Easiest 5 star review I’ve had in a while! This doggy day care was exactly what we needed while on vacation. They really do take care of the dogs like they are their own, pricing is very reasonable, and you get these enjoyable “pupdates” each day! You can also check on your pups via webcams once they are checked in for the day. Don’t hesitate to use this day care!

The staff is friendly and patient, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the pricing is very fair for the level of care. J. Tail’s emphasis on safety and well being, as well as the ratio of dogs to human supervision (1 person per 15 dogs) helps me feel confident trusting them with my rambunctious boy. I also appreciate the enrichment activities they offer during nap time—adorable and perfect for my high energy dog. Definitely looking forward to using their daycare and boarding services in the future!

I have a high energy dog that started out really nervous at daycare. After a few weeks going to J.Tails a couple times a week, he runs toward the door when we get there. They have small playgroups of dogs with similar size/temperament, a fun outdoor play area, and someone with their pups at all times. I love that I can check on him throughout the day on their cameras and I look forward to the photos and “pupdates” they provide. We love J.Tails

I absolutely love JTails! They take such good care of my pup and I always get the cutest pictures of him on their Instagram. The staff is super sweet and I know they treat all the dogs so well! I never worry when my dog is under their care. They also offer very reasonable pricing and their facilities are kept nicely. I highly recommend! The staff at J.Tails are so loving and attentive when taking care of my pet. I recently overnight boarded my dog at J.Tails and never worried about his care. When I leave him for the day, he comes home exhausted from a fun day of play. I highly recommend J. Tails for taking care of your pets.

We like to drop our dog off for daycare during the week so she can socialize and get some exercise while we are at work. She is so excited to go every time and we know she’s safe and well cared for at JTails. The pupdates at the end of the day are awesome and they take so many good photos and videos.

To All Pet Owners, my husband and I have over 3 decades of owning dogs, dogs, birds, dogs, dogs, birds, and dogs, dogs, dogs. At this time in our lives, we have no family to sit with our dogs when needed, nor neighborhood friends who can take them in their homes. We have relied on boarding at our Vets, but always preferred to have our dogs remain in our home. We tried that too, and just did not work out - people not being with our dogs when they said they would, charging us when not here (found on video camera), and more unsatisfactory experiences. Still, we searched on, committed to find "the right and best place" for our new dogs: puppy Ogden, with us now for 4 mos, and 8 yo adopted Molly, with us now for 5 months and immediately loved Ogden as her own. They are both happy, healthy and loving life with us - we had to find a loving home that would care for them as we do. And we found them: Jen McKay's Nuts About Mutts!!! We found her business card in our neighborhood park where we walk and run our dogs and my husband saved them, and made the call the day before our trip, for which we were planning boarding at our Vets when I just was so worried to leave them because they would have to board longer than needed, but also caging them up. We called Jen at 8am and by 11am we were at her beautiful, comfortable, welcoming and pet-safe home for us and our bassets to meet her and see her home. We made the decision then to have our Ogden and Molly stay with her the next day for the duration of our trip with Jen's newly adopted 8 yo Nala, and another pup - Magnolia - 3 girls with our boy Ogden. Jen's intake process was refreshing - crossing all the "T's" and dotting all the "i's" for assuring their seamless care in her family home. Ogden sniff out toys, toys, toys, while Molly sniffed out food and treats. Jen provided such a welcoming and comforting home environment that was fully set up for a safe and secure temporary home for mutts! It was obvious from the start how much Jen loves pets and to have them in her family home from the toys, safe chews, bedding, room to roam-run-play inside and outside, and places to rest and sleep. While Molly is not one to sleep in bed with us, Ogden does. And Ogden slept in bed with her. Jen updated us throughout the days and evenings and sent pictures. We are 200% happy with her care of our new family and know that Jen McKay is the pet sitter that we have been searching for all these years - to be able to leave our pups with her and have full confidence in her care for them is the desire we all have and share in common - to know they will be in a loving environment and will have loving hands on them until our return. Jen was fully accessible to us, to drop off and pick up - even into the night. If she had to evacuate while we were gone overseas, across the country, our dogs would be with her - that is the confidence she provides to pet owners. We have promised Ogden and Molly that Jen's home will be their second home in St. Pete FL - for short and long stays and day care to play with others and have more friends. If you have a need for a pet sitter, any time, any day, my husband and I are delighted to recommend Jen McKay to you and your pets. Jen is awesome! She stayed at our house with our dogs for 4 nights. She sent us updates and lots of great pictures. The pups were clearly having a great time with her. She asked about their quirks, behavior, medications, favorite toys & behaviors so they could be at ease with her. We felt very comfortable with her in our home. She even watered the plants & brought in the mail. Highly recommend Jen for your pups happiness while you’re away.

Finding Jen and her Nuts about Mutts pet sitting service was a blessing in disguise! The daily updates, pictures, and videos helped put our minds and hearts at ease when we traveled without our new rescue pup. Jen was wonderful! My pet sitter cancelled last minute before my trip and Jen luckily had a cancellation. She had me and my dog, Emma, come for a visit prior to her stay, so that we (my dog and I) would both feel more confident. Jen is wonderful, we are so glad to have found her! Our dogs are our babies, so we’re *very* particular when it comes to our dogs. Additionally, one of our dogs can be reactive with other dogs & has a few health issues that require daily meds (and a watchful eye). Having read other reviews I was hopeful Jen would be a good fit for our needs. The meet + greet went so well and relieved my concerns. Jen is thorough, experienced and serious about everyone’s safety and happiness. Fast forward to our trip, she honored our preference of daily updates with pics of happy dogs in a cozy home. We were shocked to see our “reactive” dog hanging happily with the crew a few days into their stay. You can tell she truly loves all the fur babies that come into her home. The boys are thankful for their new Aunt Jen!

Jen is the best! Our dog, Luke, can be shy with strangers, but he fell in love with her right away when she came over to meet him before the pet sitting even began. It was our first time leaving him with a sitter, and we were nervous because he isn’t the easiest dog, but felt so much better after meeting Jen and seeing how he took to her. Jen gave him all the love he would have gotten if we were home with him, and kept us feeling confident with regular updates and pictures of our boy having a great time. It allowed us to have such a relaxed trip knowing Luke was well taken care of. We’ll be using her again.

Jen was amazing! We had to make last minute arrangements for someone to take care of our very big fur kid and Jen was incredible. She was quick to respond and was very on top of things. We have done boarding, training and daycare for our doggie here. Every single person that works here is lovely. They truly love the dogs and will do anything for them. I couldn’t imagine letting anyone else care for our pup. When he was there for Thanksgiving they took such great care of him. Somehow they even got him to dress up for his turkey dinner. (He would never do that for us at home!)

There’s no better care for our dogs anywhere. Maybe not even in our own home. The staff at Pasadena pet motel shows our dog a kind of love I thought only we could. Thank you.

We had the pleasure of boarding our fur babies. 3 corgis Dia12,Fay12 and Ginger3 while we went to visit our son. It was such a nice trip not having to worry about care. We called and checked on them, the staff was amazing answering all of questions about the girls. This is our second time using Pasadena Pet Motel and it won’t be our last. Thanks to all who cared for our Corgis.

We have boarded our two high energy German Shepherd babies here for the last 2 years. When we go to drop them off they race for the door, and when we pick them up they’re exhausted. I know at Pasadena Pet Motel my dogs get attention, exercise, and tons of playtime. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Sorry I am late on my review, however, wonderful is wonderful no matter the time. I have a German Shepherd “Duke”, whom is my companion. I knew I had to board him over Christmas and had never spent one night without him up to that point. I started taking Duke to daycare at least a month prior to leaving. I knew by my interactions with the staff and owner, Duke was truly cared for and loved. I was only able to leave Duke because I knew this place was dedicated to providing the well run caring attention required for me to feel ok. I naturally called every day and listened to what Duke had done and how he was doing. This whole thing was a success for me, my family and Duke . Thanks

LOVE LOVE LOVE this pet motel! It was my first time leaving my fur baby at a boarding facility and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and care our dog received. They are quick to respond, take all phone calls, and are very passionate and professional. They really made sure my big goof ball was able to play with dogs his own size in small play groups and he almost didn’t want to go home after all the love and attention the staff give all the dogs. While I don’t want to discredit anyone, I feel like the negative reviews for this place are largely from people who haven’t even been clients and it is too bad because they are so passionate about the dogs that stay with them. Our dog went straight home for a long nap after we picked him up. He has obviously been playing to his heart's content! I mean just look at that smile!

Our little Pepper goes there. She loves seeing her friends and gets super excited on the car ride there. She’s gotten to love it so much that she even knows the route there when we decide to walk. It’s also very close to us which is super convenient for easy drop off. I can tell she gets lots of exercise because she comes home all tuckered out!

My dog Keith always seems to have a good time. The staff is very nice. not sure what goes on inside but the dog never complains and is usually very tired by the time we get home

We board both our dogs, GSD & a Staffy, here. My Staffy is a rescue and reactive but she absolutely loves Sara here. Everytime I drop them off I know they will be loved and cared for.

We love Farley! Erica does a great job managing what seems like organized chaos. She’s always prepared for any situation, has a great setup and a welcoming (and experienced) spirit that puts you at ease. Goldie always has a great time on her stays and comes home exhausted. I cannot recommend her enough!

Erica is fantastic and provides such a total package of care. First, she is very organized which is really important when all the details have to be right for our dogs to get the right care and feeding. Her house is set up wonderfully with a great backyard for playtime. And lastly, she is very responsive when you reach out, as well as providing frequent updates through the app. Both of our dogs seemed very relaxed and happy to be there. Oh wait, the most important thing…she is a veterinary nurse!! This gave us such comfort since both our dogs are over 14 years old.

We had a truly great experience having our pups stay with Erica of Farley Pet Care. Erica is caring, loving, and very efficient when it comes to running the show. My 2 dogs are over 50 lbs, and can get a bit rambunctious. Erica suggested a trial over-night which was great for all parties concerned! She has a great outdoor play area for the pups and warmly welcomes them into her home as part of the family. We were on a bit of a lengthy vacation and Erica sent photos daily with updates which put my mind at ease tremendously. We were all able to relax and know the dogs were very well taken care of. Bonus...they were exhausted when we picked them up! I highly recommend Erica and Farley Pet Care to anyone who asks.

Our puppy Linguine was very well taken care with Farley Pet Care. He had experienced an issue that caused him to be temporarily blind and a little wobbly. My wife and I were going to be out of the country and wanted to make sure that our dog was properly cared for. Erica took such great care of our little guy. We almost feel like it was doggy rehab, since he got to spend time running and playing with other dogs. The journal updates were great and made us very happy to see that he was being loved and cared for while we were away.

The team that does nail trim clinics at Pet Food Warehouse did an amazing job with my huge Great Pyrenees puppy, Zander. They were very kind and patient with my big dramatic, whiny baby. Great job and thank you so much!

We brought our dog Chloe to Farley Pet Care for a stay from January 25th to January 29th. First time Chloe was away from us, and she adapted beautifully to being in the home rather than in a kennel. Erica was very accommodating to our needs as we were detained in our travels and in picking up Chloe. I researched so many sitters in the area it was crazy, and ended up meeting with and interviewing a few. Mallory's vibe immediately struck me as perfect for my new puppy, and my gut was dead on. She has come to my home and watched him while I was at work, and also had him over for extended play time with Kona (her dog). It has been fantastic and I couldn't be happier. I would not let just anyone take care of my boy so I could be away – I am very selective and consider this an important decision. I was a bit apprehensive to leave our 4 month old puppy with total strangers but by the time I dropped her off, I felt very confident that she was going to be well taken care of! I’m pretty sure she had the time of her life! It was also reassuring to get text messages with pictures throughout the evening showing us that she had settled in just fine (as well as a good morning text!). If we are ever in the area again and looking for pet care, Pendleton Pet Care will be our first call!

Pendleton Pet Care takes away all the stress about leaving your pet!! I found out about them right before I had to travel 4 weeks back to back. They sent me pictures and updates the entire time I was away. When I came home my dog was happy, healthy, and showed no signs of anxiety! They really love your pet like you do! I would recommend to anyone!

Mimi and Marshmallow had a ball at Pendleton Pet Care during the week that I was away on vacation. Mallory and her own dogs were welcoming and loving! I loved that we were able to visit ahead of time and meet their doggy family, too. I always felt that my little dogs were safe and taken care of while they were in Mallory's and Melanie's more than capable hands. I know where my dogs will be staying from now on while I'm out of town.

I can't say enough good things about Pendleton Pet Care. I have complete peace of mind when I'm away from home knowing that my cats are well-cared for. While stopping by to feed my cats, they spend time with them to give them some attention while I'm away. They're quick to respond to texts should I reach out. They're not only pet owners themselves, but true pet lovers! I appreciate their caring for my cats like their own.

They are awesome! So professional and they love your pet likes its their own! Have been using them for about 7 months, more than a dozen times when we are out of town. Never had an issue, they send you a pic of your pet when they check on them. I have a cat that needs just a little extra attention because she misses us, sitter comes through with flying colors, providing us with peace mind. Bonus perk is someone taking in your mail and checking on your house when you're gone. Highly recommend!

Mallory/Pendleton Pet Care took amazing care of my special needs Sandy cat. She required medicine, clean up, and extra attention. Very trusting and reliable! Mallory, Melanie and their team do home visits daily in addition to watching my menagerie when I travel. I have a combo of dogs, cats and chickens, and it isn’t easy. Despite the hard work, they do an incredible job of ensuring that everyone gets well cared for including medications and sometimes dog park visits. I trust them completely and know that my fur and feathered kids are always in excellent hands.

I have been using Fallon and her team for over two years now and they are nothing but amazing. My dogs get so excited when they see Fallon or Lydia at the door for a walk or overnight stay. Always on-time, over communicative, has the best pricing out there, and they care so much about your dogs. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable dog care!

Fallon and Rachel are a godsend!! To be able to leave on a trip and know that our little social diva cat is being loved and cared for is truly priceless. We’ve been using Fur Fins and Feathers for a few years now and there’s no way I would trust anyone else with our fur babies. Fallon and her team are incredibly caring and very diligent about making sure your pets are treated like family. Our dogs love her and her team. She even stepped in and saved one of our dogs during an emergency while we were out of town and we are forever grateful to her. Fallon cared for our two Yorkies for over 30 days while she was still recovering from the damage from two hurricanes. Our dogs loved staying with her and came home happy and healthy. One of them even lost a couple of unneeded pounds because she got a lot of exercise. I highly recommend Fur Find & Feathers. We will definitely use them again when needed.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! They came highly recommended from multiple people and still were beyond my expectations. Fallon was quick and amazing from the get go: working out scheduling, walking me through the process, having a thorough meet and greet with my pup and getting to know her. I booked 3 overnight stays with 2 drop in visits per day. Fallon sent a report card for each visit to keep me up to date on how my pup was doing while I was out of town and sent amazing pictures and videos all through out. My pup fell head over heels in love with her and it was amazing to see her so well cared for and be able to enjoy my trip knowing she was in the best of hands. I’m SO happy to write this review! My family uses Fallon and her amazing company when we travel. I never have to worry about my animals because I know they’re loved and taken care of. I receive pictures and videos and check-ins all the time. In honesty, I think my pets are sad when I get home! We will always use Fur Fins and Feathers anytime we need help with our fur babies!!!

Fallon has taken care of my dog since moving to FL and he was immediately drawn to her even though he can be uncomfortable around strangers, she knew exactly how to work with him based on his needs and behavioral issues. He is always so excited to see her and we know that when we are away he is in safe hands with a kind and educated dog lover. Fallon is always flexible and takes extra time for our shifting schedules and changing plans. She sends videos/picture updated throughout the day so we know he’s okay! Rachel is amazing with my 8 year old Golden Retriever! She is always reliable, flexible, and sends regular updates (and photos!) to ease my mind. I travel a lot for work and it’s so important for me to know that my pup is in good and loving hands while I’m away. I never worry when he’s with Rachel!

Rachel has been watching my older pup for over a year now, between weekly walks and occasional overnight stays, he has always been happy and well taken care of. Rachel is a fantastic communicator and always sends me pics of my dog when I’m away. I feel very secure knowing that she is able to watch my dog, highly recommend!

Nancy has been sitting for us for almost 3 years. She is the best! Our dog, Daisy, absolutely adores her. It's hard when you cant take your pet with you. I feel so much better knowing Daisy is well taken care of by someone we trust. She came over before the first visit to meet Daisy and bond with her. We always joke that Daisy is sad when we come home because that means Nancy isnt coming anymore 😂.
