We take our little dog Peach here to Holly who grooms her. She does an excellent job and is so very nice. 5 stars
This is my go to, local, dog boarding spot whenever I have to travel -- from 2 days to 2 weeks. All of the staff is incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful! They're also amazing with the dogs. My dog is 10yo rescue with some anxiety and behavioral challenges and they've always said he's just great and does so well here. I would gladly trust them with my dog or any future pets.
Best grooming services ever!! Holly is fabulous! Cheeto was so calm and happy not to mention handsome! Highly recommended!
Breath taking view for the dogs during the day while they are outside.
Ohana Animal Inn is such a sweet & loving place to leave our sweet baby girl. She loves it so much that she practically jumps our of the car before we park! She loves hugs from Chris the owner & Francis her caregiver. When we pick her up she is bathed along with her bedding. She loves to play with Oreo, Chris's dog too. We enjoy ourselves away knowing she is well cared for & loved. We recommend them hands down for superb care of your fur baby while you are away!
Our two boys love staying here where Chris and his staff is very friendly. They get to stay outside and play during the day and that's exactly what they love doing. They seem well cared for when we pick them up.
These people are wonderful you can totally trust them to take the best care of your pets!
I recently picked up my dog from there and he had an injury to his foot and looked very thin. Could of been to his longer than usual stay but when he boarded in Kahului he was fine when we got him back. They didn't say anything about him when I picked him up. He acts and seems normal otherwise.
We love Ohana animal inn. The staff are professional and super friendly.
My dogs love this place! They act like it's a summer camp vacation-- Rufus and Dude give it full marks! Plus Oreo loves it when he romps with them there.
Jessica has pet sit for me 6+ times and I have a challenging rescue farm full of animals on medications. Cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, etc. She Is a fast study! I taught her to give shots and fluids to cats and she handled it perfectly. Recommended her to a surgeon in Kihei who has a couple dogs and a cat and she was there for a few weeks - the surgeon is very happy with her as well. She is very clean - your home will be cleaner when you get back then when you left. Your animals will be well cared for and you will get lots of videos and pictures. Highly reliable, very loving. (And I would not consider myself easy to please, very high expectations, I own a top notch pet boarding facility in San Francisco with vet tech level staff - Jessica is of the same professionalism). Highly Recommend! ❤️
It was amazing to find someone who would care for my 13 year old border collie girl in our home (and my brothers puppy). Because of Alexis we were able to take our first vacation in 3 years. I recommend her highly. Came home to a well cared for puppers, clean house, and she even collected our mail. I'm so glad we found her and would definitely use her services again for our next vacation!
Aloha Matt, I don't believe we have aquatinted each other and I would like to reach out to you in hopes you can elaborate on your review for my business Maui Pet and House Sitting. I strive for excellence, respect and dependability in my business practices and my care for animals. Please let me know what compelled you to leave a 3 star review and what interactions, if any, you may have had with us that wasn't respectful. Mahalo! Alexis Pleiss
Sit Means Sit Hawaii was a wonderful company to work with. We used them to train our spunky little puppy. Their training method was gentle but consistent and our pup responded well. Scott and Rhonda were lovely to work with. I highly recommend this business!
Scott and his staff are wonderful. Well worth the money spent to train your dog or puppy. Our family decided to train our 1 year old and 5 month old. Sit Means Sit went beyond our expectations. They not only train our dogs, but us as well. For life!!
Amazing trainers on an awesome campus. Everyone goes above and beyond to help dogs and their humans. We did the 3 week boarding training and the results were great. Lifetime refreshers and problem solving included in the price. Would highly recommend!
Totally worth every Penny My wife and I rescued a 2 year-old Husky Malamute and she came to us with some behavioral problems. She was extremely aggressive towards our other Husky to the point where she had to be muzzled around him and that still didn't stop her from attacking with the muzzle on. She also exhibited food and toy protective traits not to mention that she was basically unable to walk on leash without a struggle. Sit Means Sit TO THE RESCUE. After 3 weeks at the ranch she is a totally different animal. Scott and his team taught her manners around other animals, basic obedience, confidence, and corrected her unruliness. Scott and his team at the ranch were professional and friendly from the moment we made initial contact. Scott provided us with updated video's and pictures several times a week so we could see our "girl" and watch her as she made some incredible progress. Once completed, Scott made personal house calls with us to followup on the training and make sure my wife and I were "trained" too. My wife and I have religiously followed the "after" training and our new rescue has become a loving and well adjusted part of our home. Thank You to Scott and the Sit Means Sit Team..
I love these trainers! Scott is so helpful even two years later. And once your dog graduates, you can bring your canine back, if you need someone trustworthy to dog sit. I have brought my dog back three times, when I have gone on vacation. Thanks Scott, you are the best!
We use this as our dog’s primary boarding facility when needed. Our dog cannot contain his excitement when entering the driveway and he realizes where we are. I was at first a little disappointed that they don’t allow dogs to play together because my dog does very well in those settings. However, he is still just as happy to go there and he is safer this way. He still sees and runs along other dogs and gets interaction he enjoys. He doesn’t come home acting like he forgot his manners. Check-in is thorough which I appreciate since my dog has an allergy they can easily be reminded of at that time. I also appreciate they stay on top of the vaccine requirements. Pick up and drop off appointments help avoid long waits or run in’s with other excited dogs. Convenient location for me. Thanks!
Day 1 of my GSD's training, and apparently, they allowed him to get loose and he got hit by a car. sadly, he did not make it. they offered a new GSD and we accepted. they said it was from a pedigree line, but it turned out he had food allergies and now we spend extra money caring for his allergies which include medication and food prescription. dont get me wrong, would not trade him at all since we have had him since he was a puppy but what a shame how everything turned out. not sure if much has changed, if they do extra precautions when training dogs.
To say Sit Means Sit was the ultimate lifesaver would be a total understatement. We adopted a year and a half old large breed mix who had zero manners. He jumped out of his harshness three times while trying to get to other dogs only to hurt himself and us, he was very mouthy (in a playful way) and just over all an adorable pain in the butt. To elaborate: I think I circled the entire “what do we need to work on” sheet when I dropped him off which is about twenty items! After getting a lot of great recommendations we registered Apollo for the transformation academy and my gosh. He came back the sweetest gentleman while also still having his amazing personality. He now walks next to us off leash, he listens, we can go to the beach, etc. I 100% recommend this training facility and have nothing but positive things to say. Thank you to everyone at Sit Means Sit for helping create a confident pup!
Sit Means Sit Hawaii changed our lives. We had a problem dog that we thought was beyond help. These folks not only showed us that our Atlas was able to b helped, but that he could also be a great addition to our family. Great team, great facility, great attitude. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone!
I had my GSD trained by Leonard back in July 2013. At 9 years old we figured it was way too late to correct her bad habits. How wrong we were. Leonard spent two weeks with Tara and she is truly a joy and is like a new dog now. We take her everywhere in the car and she now walks 2 miles a day with my husband without pulling him down the street. She now loves people and is not bothered at all by other dogs. I would do this again and wished I had done it years ago. The trainer and program was worth every cent. I know if I have problems in the future I can just pick up the phone and my help is there.
