Brian does both of our dogs! He is so nice and both of our pups love him! Plus, Brian does a mean poodle, Mohawk! Eva and Ainsley are always so nice when I come in! I totally recommend this place!

We left our 5 sweet little fur babies for 4 days due to our obligation to attend our son's wedding back east. It was scary for me because we haven't done that before. I was hoping to see them play on their Facebook page but no luck. But when we got them back home they were back to normal is a day. No nerves, no issues. They were just the same. That says success to me.

Brian was EXCELLENT with our dog Little Bob. Bob is a street dog from Mexico and we weren’t sure how he was going to be while being groomed. Evidently, Brian has the magic touch with Bob and he was really good. Bob Smelled so wonderful when we collected him. His cut was perfect! He looks like a sweet little mini poodle again. We tipped Brian $10, but upon seeing Little Bob, we gave him another $5! Everyone is super friendly in the shop. It seemed clean and welcoming as well. They have nice spacious crates for your dog to rest and wait in until it’s their turn. The folks genuinely care about the furries there! Thank you and we will be back!

The staff was excellent and made me feel that my pups would be well taken care of. Drop off was seamless and easy. The building was clean and the staff was attentive to both pups and me. I contacted them a couple of times while gone and received a good report for both of them (they're both older girls). When we came to pick them up, they were happy, healthy and clean. I would use them again when needed.

Had an emergency situation needing to find a place for my dog. They were very helpful and kind to me. My dog did really good there. Will always use them for when I need to leave my dog for vacations and such.

Great price, very accommodating, they love your pets. We have been taking our dogs there for over 8 years. Dogs are happy to be dropped off there and convenient pick up times on the weekends.

Even 10 ⭐️ aren’t enough ⭐️ to express how much I love this place! Doggie daycare has been priceless for someone who works long hours and has a highly energetic husky mix with just a few special personality “quirks!” The staff, the facilities and the service is unmatched and so needed for those of us who love our pets but maybe can’t spend as much time with our pets as we’d like (guilty)! Need more proof? A picture speaks 1000 words!!

Decent customer service. But over the years, they have changed! Prices have gone up, services per cost are less, and the last time my dogs stayed there was bad! She had new sores on her front elbows, and the fur on her rear legs were soaked with urine! A friend that works with Veterinary Hospitals told me to report them to the State. But, I gave the Facility compassion.

My dog loves her time at Bay Breeze. She is always happy to leave me and go play with the staff and she is always excited to see me when I pick her up. The staff are attentive to her needs and she gets to play with other dogs when staff agree it is a suitable match. The staff go out of their way to take care of my precious dog, even picking up her specialized food from the veterinarian across the river. I could not ask for a better home-away-from-home for my beloved pet. I can miss her, but rest easy knowing she is in very capable and happy care.

We were visiting from out of town in September and needed last minute boarding and they were fantastic. I appreciate you taking great care of my boy Moose!

I unfortunately feel as though the quality of boarding care has declined while the prices have gone up. A year ago, play time and time with a staff member was included for each day during the pet's stay, but now, if you want your pet to get the opportunity for play time, it costs an extra 10 dollars each day, and it is also an additional cost for the pet to be visited by a staff member each day. This is quite concerning to me. It makes me fear that the pets' experiences are not as good anymore, which is disappointing.

We found them when we were being turned down because our pup is GSD! No problem for them. It clean, great staff for dogs and owners. Can’t say enough! The last time we used them we were stuck in traffic and they were willing to wait for us past closing!!!Suoer undertanding and helpful!!!!

We went here with our last pack and even our ferrets! The new generation is here, so we’ll be back. So clean and friendly.

I had to bring my fur son Jasper to them because I'm trying to find a place for him and I.. And I would never take my fur son to any other place ever!! I love the ladies there and the owner is such a wonderful lady.. They are the BEST PLACE to take your fur baby to if you need them to be watched..

Deb and Greg are wonderful dog sitters. They have a natural empathy for dogs and provide a very homelike environment for your pets. There are some restrictions in place so please do not just show up and expect accomodations. Communication is stellar and prices are very reasonable. Absolutely recommended.

Ginger watched our dog Ellie, which is no small feat. Ellie is an extremely active cattle dog who demands activity. Ginger was up to the task and they fell in love with each other. Ginger is so caring and kind with animals it is really a beautiful sight to see. She really connects with all animals. Ellie was happy and well cared for and we have used Ginger numerous times since then. Ginger is the BEST!!

I want to give a huge shout out to Ginger Matyas. We have been using her to watch our two kitties in Manzanita for a few years. Ginger is a true gem! She takes great care of our kitties and lavishes them with attention. She takes and sends the best photos too! Your fur babies will love her!

Ginger is absolutely wonderful! She loves cats and knows how to give them exactly the attention they need while we're away. Our cat is very shy but Ginger was patient with him and now he comes out to play with her, which is very rare for him. She has also given us great advice and resources. She's prompt, kind, communicative, and great with cats. Couldn't recommend her more highly!

Ginger is the absolute best! She goes above and beyond for not only our cat, but for us and our home as well. We receive updates every visit which keeps us at ease, as we have an extremely shy boy. He finally opened up to her, which is a testament to her knowledge, skills and patience - now he loves when she stops by! I knew my cat would be well taken care of after meeting Ginger. She is fantastic at what she does and is truly passionate about taking care of fur babies. I can’t recommend Ginger enough. All I can say is WOW - Ginger was amazing with my 2 cats when I had to go out of town. I am new to Portland and was nervous about finding someone to have come watch my cats for me in my home while I took my first trip out of town. I now have no qualms about future trips because I know my cats will be in great hands with Ginger and her team every time. She brought over toys and played with them and sent pictures/videos every day which was so great. I would 1000% recommend Ginger to anyone needing to find someone to trust their fur babies with!

Ginger has been taking care of my two cats for over two years and she is great! I have an 18 year old cat with early kidney disease and an 8 year old who is frightened of everything after being rescued by firefighters when my condo building had a fire in 2017. Ginger is patient with him and eventually gets him to come out from under my bed covers. My older cat just loves her and climbs all over her. During my last two week trip she came twice a day as it’s important for my older cat to eat regularly. She updated me with photos and videos, easing my anxiety at leaving them for so long. I totally recommend Ginger.

We've been taking my Golden here since he was a puppy for trips to the amusement or water park and other vacations. He's just happier here with a huge common area and fenced in area to run and socialize with other dogs. They keep extra eyes on behaviors just in case but I've never had an issue. They send pictures while he stays of him playing. It is out in the country a bit but super easy to get to off I-5 and I feel safer and more comfortable knowing he's not locked in a cage all day. Worth the drive and they are very reasonable prices

Best groomers in the PNW. Kind and loving. I drive from Vancouver to CCC to have my senior pup groomed. Would never think about taking her anywhere else.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I have a 5 year old Samoyed and know how difficult her coat can be. We have been to at least half a dozen groomers in her life, and never found somewhere as great as Columbia Canine Cottage. I was referred by a friend of mine and got in touch with Keely who is absolutely amazing. She makes myself and my dog feel so comfortable at drop off. She is so sweet and loving to my dog, which is super important to me because my dog has separation anxiety. Keely will text me pictures of my dog during or after the groom to show me how things went. When I pick my dog up, she does not show any signs of stress, only excitement upon seeing me. Keely also makes time to sit and talk with me after the groom to let me know how things go. She does not ever make me feel rushed or unheard and instead reassures all my worries. She also has my groom completed in around 2 hours which is mind blowing because other places will have my dog for 4-5 hours. She does an amazing job with the wash, blow dry and brush, and trims up the paws and sanitary area. I am thankful that she does not trim parts of my dog that she shouldn't (as other groomers have done before). I have started to use them for more than just grooming, because I know my dog is comfortable there. I have started leaving her for the day, or "doggy day care", to let her get more comfortable with the other dogs and being there for longer periods of time. I feel very comfortable leaving her for longer periods of time and will be taking advantage of their boarding program for my next trip. Again, so thankful to have found this place! Thanks for always taking such great care of my baby girl<3

My dog loves it here! She barely looked back at me the last time I dropped her off. I love all the photo updates I get seeing her make friends and being so happy. I was worried she might like it better than home but I think she just feels like it’s an actual vacation for her 💛 …

I was having surgery in Seattle and left two of my dogs at CCC. They seemed very happy and very well taken care of. I was a little nervous leaving them since we’ve never been apart, but I was sent photos on a daily basis. They seemed to be in good spirits when I picked them up. I’ll use them again :) Thanks CCC!

This is our choice every time we need boarding services, and for years our dogs have had exceptional care. They come home excited and happy, and Kurt has made sure to promptly answer any questions we have had. His employees are kind, caring and our dogs love each one. This is where to go for any boarding needs!

Best dog boarding facility I've ever seen. Lots of places like to lie about how much time the dogs spend in cages. This place has staff 24/7, and the dogs are only caged up when someone arrives for drop-off or pickup. They just run as a pack all day, and sleep on couches and beds with a person at night. They have a van to pick up dogs for day care to run around with the pack, only costs like $2 an hour. They also have grooming, my standard poodle loves it there and the groom is the cheapest I've found.

Can't say enough great things about Columbia Canine Cottage. They do a great job with our pup, Cheddar, who seems to do well in their care. They send us regular updates and unlike so many boarding places they aren't spending most of their days cooped up, but being loved and cared for by the staff.

We left for a week out of state and needed help with short notice. Maria's schedule was pretty full, but she was able to help us out. She strives to help if she can. We have dogs, cats, fish and birds that were cared for the entire time we were gone. We received a consultation where we walked through all the specifics prior to leaving. We met our sitters in advance. They interacted with the pets for a while before we left, so we could introduce everyone. We do have some pets with anxiety, so this was important to us. We had our first vacation with real peace of mind because of Happy at Home Pet Sitting and their outstanding services. We spent years finding the right way to be able to leave town, not worry and have our pets routines uninterrupted as much as possible. This will be our long term first choice whenever we leave for vacations, or on business. The prices are more than fair. Our pets were unfazed by our leaving because they had the necessary support while we were gone. We would recommend Maria and Happy at Home Pet Sitting for anyone that would like peace of mind, quality care for your pets at an affordable price. Short or long stay, use Maria & her team for your pets while you're away!

Maria has been absolutely wonderful with our cats and our dog Arrow! We feel so lucky to have found her, its comforting knowing our pets are safe and happy when she is there. Maria has done feedings and medications with playtime for us a few times and visits always come with an update and cute pictures!

I recently used Happy at Home Pet Sitting Service to care for my 10 year-old cat, Zoey. Zoey is not terribly used to being left alone (thanks, Covid!), so, I was somewhat apprehensive about leaving her without me for 10 days while on a trip. Maria stopped by before my trip and got to know Zoey and me, and provided assurances that my furry friend would be very well cared for. Maria explained everything about her services, provided references and brochures, and said that in my case, her company had a local sitter who would care for Zoey while I was away (the local person also stopped by before my trip to meet Zoey and me). While I was on the trip, I received a daily text update and periodic photos of Zoey. Maria had her staff follow all of my instructions and I could tell that Zoey had been well cared for while I was gone. Maria's prices are very reasonable and the fact that she has been in business for so long says a lot about the integrity of her service. She obviously takes pet sitting very seriously and provided the highest level of care for my Zoey. I could not be more satisfied. When I called my local vet to inform them that Maria and her team would be watching Zoey (in case a medical emergency), the vet said they are familiar with Maria's service and spoke highly of her. I think Maria has a lot of clients and is busy...but she made time for me and I will be using her service when I travel again in the near future. David, Ocean Shores.

Love love love! First impression...I contacted Maria and she quickly responded. This has continued throughout our relationship with her. When it comes to our furbabies, we know how important timely replies are! After that, she met us to go over our expected services and meet our sitter. After the service... We found nice notes journaling our dog's disposition and activities when the sitter visited. I 100% completely trust and recommend this company! Maria has been wonderful about following up to be sure we were happy afterward. I really can't say enough good about them. One last thing...icing on the cake...reasonably priced! Just an update... We have used Happy at Home 3 times now. Our oldest dog, Abe, used to get very stressed when we got the suitcases out. Now that he knows Happy at Home ladies will be coming by, he could care less if we leave!

I tried contacting these people multiple time, but each time it just rang and rang till I hit the answering machine. I left a voicemail and got no returning call. Basically what's the point of having a business if you can't even answer a phone.... thanks to these people I wasn't able to find a place for my dog when a emergency popped up and I had to put my dog in the pound. Please take down your website if you don't answer. Or at least put business hours down. A very poorly ran business
