Leode Grooming service is first class, they are very accommodating with times and they made such a wonderful job, have tried many groomers and recently couldn't get one that suited this particular dog that we have. Emma was able to do exactly what we needed and had her perfect.

This awarding winning Kennels is a home for your beloved pet dogs. So clean and well maintained. The kennels has a number of outdoor and indoor play areas for the dogs. Tom and his team provide regualar updates on your pets stay and have addishional services such as grooming, pet food for sale and a bus drop off and pick up. The staff are so caring, many of them are young teenagers experiencing there first job, which itself is wonderful that this business can provide employment for young people.

This was our first time leaving our dogs at Leode Kennels. We were not disappointed. Fantastic set up. Clean, bright & lots of stimulation for our dogs. We loved receiving the photos every day & Tom was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back. Keep up the fantastic work!

We leave Buttons with Tom any time we are awayfrom home. We always feel like it's a home from home for her and we get a video every morning of her playing. She is always well looked after.

When it comes to Doggy Day Care & residing in the Kennels, a Leode experience is a must for your pets. I love that Tom is super efficient when it comes to understanding your pooch - their habits at home, what they like to eat, their favourite games, how they like to be cuddled & any other wee quirks they have. This means it's a home from home experience. The kennels & play areas are clean, colourful & airy. I love receiving the photos & videos he & the team take everyday & there's the option to see them on camera from your phone. Tom & the team are methodical in their practice, no entry unless the pooches have met the requirements of necessary paperwork - vaccinations & kennel cough are mandatory. I love the expertise, the attention to detail, knowing that our pooches are as spoiled with Tom, as they would be at home. Leode is secure & there's a genuine love & care for the pooches & that's why I go back to them, every time.

Excellent service! My partner and I were a little bit nervous about going away without our dogs for the first time but we received regular updates and photos of our babies settling in and making friends with the other dogs there. Our dogs came home happy and healthy. Overall very well run and we could tell our dogs were well cared for. We will definitely be returning in the future so we can rest assured that our dogs are safe and happy while we are away.

Miki kept our gsd for 3 weeks and I was so happy with the service. I was consistently kept up to date and reassured he was doing the best. She integrated him with the other dogs and he responded so well I was shocked when photos came through of him playing with the others as he would normally be very nervous around other dogs! Clearly she is very calm and experienced with dogs and especially gsds! Kobe came home in great spirits, good weight etc and I could tell he was well looked after. Can't praise Miki and her lovely family enough. She has looked after all four of my dogs all at once! For several years and they are happy wee bunnies when we come home which makes our holiday even more relaxed knowing they're well cared for. Thank you guys very much xx

Overall, a bad experience. We had two dogs staying for 3 nights. Although the business claims that they only have 3 households' dogs max staying at one time they fail to mention they also have 10-15 dogs in doggy day care at same time. They were also fostering 3 pups at the time and have 3-4 dogs of their own. The house gave off a sense of choas and we did not see how our dogs were going to get any sense of individualized care. We had no choice but to leave them as ferry was booked same day as drop off. In addition, the owner wasn't there for drop off and had left her teenage daughter in charge. We weren't asked any info about their normal feeding habits, routines, toilet times etc. and I found a piece of glass on living room floor which no one had seemed to notice. If all this weren't bad enough both dogs got bad stomach bug during their stay. Vomiting and diarrhea. Off food for days. Both had to go to vet for medication and fluids costing £200. The place may be victim of own success as clearly has had good reviews in past, but now far too many dogs are present at one time meaning each dog does not get individualized care it needs. There are also clearly hygiene issues as with so many animals in cramped space diseases etc pass around so easily. We will not be back. **** Update based on owners response**** Ironic that someone concerned with 'false claims' makes their own. Our dog was not on a 'vegan diet' but a hypoallergenic diet as recommended by our vet due to repeated ear infections. We have to slowly introduce animal proteins one at a time to see if they cause reaction, and if so, put her on plant based wet food to flush the proteins before trying another (as plant based proteins don't cause reaction). We had tried fish before she was at the hotel and it caused a reaction, so she was on plant based wet food and hypoallergenic dry food during that time. All this was of course explained at drop off, but as the owner wasn't there it's not surprising she has made a number of false assumptions. If she had the conscientiousness to be present when clients drop off dogs to make sure all relevant info was understood fully then this wouldn't happen. Also strange that our dog and sister in law's dog who was staying at same time both got sick literally the next day after bringing them home but no other dog did. Must just be an unexplained coincidence.

Take my dogs here regularly, for day care and for overnight periods whilst we're away. Michaela is experienced with dogs and I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs with her. As a dog behavioural trainer, I am fussy about leaving my dogs but this is a fab establishment - home away from home. Would give more than 5* if I could! Cannot recommend her more highly - however I will say that one of my dogs is picky about people and who he will be left with (away from his hoomans) and he always settles well with Michaela, he even looks put for her locally if he sees her car! I trust that they are in good hands whenever I leave my dogs with her, and I have every confidence in her.

First time my furry babies have stayed anywhere so I was a bit nervous probably more so than foxy and casper. I scanned the internet trying to find a home from as my two aren’t use to staying anywhere apart from my home, Miki’s was perfect as they were aloud stay indoors and still have that family life going on around them. We had a meet and greet few days before also. Miki’s sent me photos and updates on them and by the looks of things they were having the best time. Foxy kept jumping into the pool even first thing in the morning, poor miki’s floors. They are booked in again in April for 9 days but I think I’ll try some days here and there for them to get use to going. Thank you again Miki.

Absolutely fantastic service! I was very concerned about leaving my dog. Original sitter pulled out at the very last minute before our holiday. In comes Miki’s Dog Hotel to save the day! Absolutely lovely people! Picked up Mammoth (my dog) and brought him out, sent pictures and videos every day and kept me completely in the loop! To top it off they dropped him home too! And all for an amazing price. Mammoth got home very clearly exhausted, plenty of exercise and stimulation! I am so grateful! If you are considering using Miki’s service get off the fence!

Our two dogs, Rollo and Brina, stay with Miki every time we go away - whether it's a day trip and we can't take the dogs or if we're away for a longer period of time - I feel that my dogs are safe, cared for and having a good time! As a behavioural trainer it's very important to me that my dogs feel comfortable and are with someone who can handle the unpredictable nature of having multiple dogs together - Miki is very capable and my dogs gave always been safe in her care. Rollo and Brina adore Miki and her family, which is something you don't always get, especially in a kennel environment. Miki has a great system in place for dogs to be happy, safe and relaxed - plenty of room for zoomies and playtime too! 100% recommend. We last left our two dogs with Miki in May 2023 for 5 days/ nights - we received a couple if photos to let us know the dogs had settled in and were making friends; giving us peace of mind as we were away. Honestly, cannot recommend enough!

I booked my boy Bailey to stay for two nights with Miki's Home Doggy Day Care and Hotel as I had a wedding to go to and would be away for 3 days. When I arrived with Bailey we received a very warm and happy welcome and instantly I was put at ease about leaving Bailey as I seen how happy the other dogs in their care were. Michaela was so friendly and Bailey took to her instantly so that was a major sign that he was happy and he would be in good hands. I was sent a picture and updates with how he was settling in which was great he was up looking cuddles in no time and playing with the other dogs. Miki's was even generous enough to deliver Bailey home for me all the way from Dromore to Craigavon with very short notice for a very small fee such amazing people. Bailey came home happy and knackered which was great to see he had a ball and was well cared for. He will definitely be back again and is even booked in for 17 nights for when we go on holidays to florida I'm so happy to have found this doggy hotel so professional thank you for taking care if my baby.

Can’t recommend Carneyhall highly enough!! Always our first choice of where to leave our dog when we head away on holiday; we drive down from Belfast to leave Ted here because we know he’s always so well looked after when we’re away! The staff are super friendly and we never worry about leaving our dog with them when we’re away! The dogs get plenty of walks throughout the day and Carneyhall put pictures and videos up on their Facebook regularly! Really can’t thank them enough for what they do!

I couldn't be happier of the way my boy Jackson was treated by all the lovely girls and boys at Carneyhall Kennels. He absolutely loves all the staff there and i find him happy whenever i pick him up and he's not the easyest dog to handle. A good choice for boarding kennels, dog's are always taken out daily to run around surrounding fields. Kennels have outdoor & indoor aspect to them and are safe & secure. Staff are enthusiastic animal lovers and will take care of any individual dog requirements. Would recommend.

Very good kennels business. They really love dogs and our dogs love it too. The set times for drop off and collection is the only pita but aside from that, this is a really good business if you're in need of someone to mind your dogs when you go on holiday

What can I say? I adore this place! The staff are amazing and so dog oriented its a weight off your shoulders. Its so reassuring when you know that the people you are leaving your furbabies with will look after them as you do. When we first went to inspect it and book Abbie on, I knew immediately that this wasn't like the other boarders I had tried in the greater newry area. There was a wee pup in the office on a small bed. Very friendly. The staff said she wasn't doing ok in the kennel n preferred human contact so they let her stay with them during the day. I knew from then that Abbie would be happy here. They cared about the dog. I Highly recommend Carneyhall Kennels cant say enough good things about the staff.

I will save the nitty gritty details, but please do NOT leave your cats here. They are ill-equipped, unprofessional and oddly secretive about where they keep your pets. The husband, Gerry, has an extreme temper and I cannot believe the level of carelessness and hostility I experienced as a first time customer. This has put me off kennelling my cats for good. I will be looking for a sitter from now on. As I said, if you care about your cats, please do not board them here.

I can't thank Frances and Gerry enough for looking after my fluffyface so well, he's a young dog who needs plenty of interaction and playtime. They always go out of their way to make sure Barnesy is happy and relaxed when in their care and look after him as if he was their own. He's only home a couple of hours and he misses them already!

We have just picked up Stitch from the boarding kennels after leaving him off for a week to go on holiday and I have to say this is one of the best boarding kennels around! We requested to get a photos of him (because we knew we would miss him) and to see if he was settling in well and Frances was more than happy to do so. we also got great updates on how he was doing and how he was eating. Been using the kennels for several years now and have always found Francis and Gerry to be extremely accommodating. Lina took care of our 9 month old pup Ruairi while we were on holidays. It was our first time leaving him, but we were instantly reassured. Lina updated us daily with videos and photos and we could tell he was having a wonderful time playing with all of his new friends. He was walked and had plenty of exercise and cuddles. We were worried he would not want to come home to us!!! For Ruairi it really was a home from home experience and he was treated like their own dog. We will definitely book Ruairi in again and have recommended Cosy dog boarding to all of our friends.

We left our 2 year old cockapoo Alfie to stay with Lina while we were on holiday. This was the first time he was away from family, but Lina was so kind and reassuring to Alfie. She gave him so much attention, care and affection throughout his stay. Lina spent a lot of time bonding with him , so quickly he was at ease. We were delighted to watch the videos of Alfie in the garden with the other dogs.He made friends with Guinness amongst others. Lina sent us regular updates, videos and messages of how he was settling in. This allowed us to enjoy our holiday knowing that Alfie was in a home away from home. Our dog Charlie has been with Lina for the past week. He’s not used to us being away and was quite nervous to begin with. Lina had a magnificent way of calming and settling him. She gave him lots of her time and attention and spent time getting to know his personality. We could see this clearly from the regular photos and videos she sent to us. I was very worried about leaving my two furbabies for the first time ever and I must be honest if it wasn't for Lina with her kind and caring heart and her love for dogs I would have never enjoyed my holiday. I highly recommend using Cosy Dog Boarding in Louth for your furry friends. My experience using their services for the first time with my French Bulldog, Canelo, was exceptional. Lina, the caregiver, went above and beyond by providing daily updates with photos and messages, keeping me informed about Canelo's well-being. When an unforeseen circumstance caused me to miss my flight and delayed me from picking up Canelo as planned, Lina graciously accommodated him for an extra night without any hesitation. The facilities boast fully enclosed grounds, providing ample space for dogs to play, run, and truly enjoy their stay. Lina's genuine warmth and evident passion for dogs instill complete trust in her ability to deliver top-notch care. Lina took care of our puppy very well. We were so happy to leave our puppy with her. And also she keeps us updated with video and photos of our puppy when we were away.

We boarded our big boy several times with this lovely people / dog hotel and he loves it madly and is always so excited to go there. Their own dog is also extremely friendly, playful and mine regards him as his older brother (like peas and carrots). They always take/took such good care of our boy, take him out for walkies in the mountain (never more happy to run in the forest or mountains with Guinness) and gets loads of attention and family time. They have enough space around the house for them to run, play, potter, snif, dig, explore and pent of their energy. For the time your dog is with them they regard/treat it as their own dog. They live close to a mountainous area on the border with Northern Ireland where there is plenty of locations to let the run and roam around freely. Every time when we get him back he is still tired days later and I think he misses having fun and be mischievous with Guinness. Both Donal and Lina are real dog people (like us), have a connection with the dog (sometimes I wonder if she knows him better than I do) and are therefor perfectly capable to take the best possible care of your cherished furry friend / family member. I like the idea that when I go on holiday, my dog has holiday (or a special time too) and they certainly give him that. For me the best indication is how the dog is about it and if he is happy it has to be good. I'm sure he is already looking forward to go back. After all. You can’t fool a dog 🙂

We've been using Mountain View kennels regularly since January 2024 for our Yorkshire terrier. Both for day care and overnight boarding, the service is always fantastic, with regular updates over the course of the stay, lovely countryside walks suited to my dog's ability and plenty of play and social interaction with the other dogs. My wee dog gets so excited when we go to drop him off that he's jumping to get out of the car, it's so relaxed and comfortable - it's like a home from home for him, which is really reassuring when leaving your pet in the care of others. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Both our dogs Mario and Elvis stayed at Mountain View Boarding Kennels for a night stay. The indoor kennels are immaculate, with underground heating, relaxing night light and music playing for added comfort. A home from home stay. Eamon is very welcoming and reassuring and is more than happy for you to look around on arrival. There is a great indoor play area for the dogs also. Whilst we were away, we were updated regularly with photos and videos of our dogs out on their walks and socialising with other dogs. When we picked them up they were very content and happy and we were informed of all the details of their stay. The place is beautiful and the family are so welcoming. I recently had the pleasure of using Mountain View Boarding Kennels for my French Bulldog Frosty, and I couldn't be more impressed. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and provides a safe and comfortable environment. Eamon is fantastic and sent me daily photos and videos which was great for peace of mind. My dog was walked daily and came back to me clean and at ease. I couldn’t recommend Mountain View more for anyone seeking a brilliant boarding experience for their pets.

We booked our dog in about a month ago for his second stay here. His first stay went very well however this morning when we arrived to drop him off our interaction with Stephanie was not a positive one, she spoke to us very rude. She told us we needed the original copy of his vaccination certificate. This is totally fine, however last time she was happy to accept an emailed copy from our vet. She wouldn't explain why the rules have changed. Again, it is completely fine to want the original copy, but changing the rules without letting us know in advance wasn't fair. It meant we would have to go back home to get it and bring it back when we already had travel plans, which have now been missed. She also told us she doesn't accept beds and only uses her own because dogs can rip them up. This is understandable, however the last time we left our dog there she did accept everything (bed, blankets and a toy). We have no proof here but we got the impression that none of the things we left with our dog were actually given to him in the kennel. So between these inconsistencies and the rude way we were spoken to we won't be using this service again. We understand having rules, but you cannot change them without giving your customers notice and expect that to be ok. We made this booking weeks ago, there was plenty of time to let us know the new rules. I work in customer service, I understand we all have bad days, that's normal. But if we are trusting you to care for our dog, we need consistency. We need to be confident that what you tell us will be followed through.

So we left our baby girl with Stephanie. She was very understanding when we explained she is on old girl and needy ! Inside dog who literally rules the roost. We explained she had to have her own bedding or she would be upset. Stephanie reassured us and our girl was wagging her tail when we left. We have confidence that she will be given love and attention but also that she will be safe ! Stephanie is through in her checks and it’s a relief. Even said text Or ring and check in on her. I’m trying not to do that 100 times daily. For me Not Chaz ! 😁

Pepper stayed at the kennels in June, the owner was fantastic. Was well aware of allergies and give plenty of advice. Fantastic kennel, pepper will be back!!

My ancient collie x stayed at the kennels for 5 nights in May. I was concerned he would be unhappy and stressed - at his age. He came out looking like he had enjoyed the break!

I leave my dog in Stephanies for grooming and in kennels and have to say shes fantastic very friendly helpful and has sucha love for dogs! Cant complain Molly is well looked after shes bathed, groomed before we get her from in the kennels and walked every day when we leave her in and dont have to worry as i know shes in the best of care with Stephanie highly reccomened!:)

Very poor experience. Last few times my dogs stayed here they were both sick for days after arriving home. When booking the kennel next time I asked Stephanie if I can see inside the kennel, she said I have seen it already. I replied I only seen outside kennels, not the inside ones where my dogs were to stay. The reply was and I am now copying her message “you have seen what I have to offer . So if you are not happy please find an alternative kennels ”. If Stephanie has nothing to hide why can I not see the inside kennels? Very rude. And very suspicious. I would recommend to stay away if you do not want sick dogs or otherwise insist on seeing the kennel.

My dog was so happy trotting back in to Kilbroney kennels today. Stephanie did a superb job of grooming her; detangling clumps of knots and making her look and smell totally amazing.

Stephanie is so lovely, and always feel like my dog is well taken care of! Would definitely recommend!

We have used this service dozens of times for our 3 dogs for both daily walks and overnight boarding while we travel. Olaf and Tom are very professional, the dogs love them, and they are always quick to respond. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to make sure their dogs are well looked after while they're gone.
