Dog Sitters in Hobart

This is not a good platform for sitters as a large chunk <20% goes to them for sitting behind a desk. Beware of suddenly getting unfair dismissal for not completing enough jobs.

Easy to use site with convenient app for messaging. I had a sitter from their site mind my dog overnight and there were no issues at all. Recommend for anyone looking for 1:1 care for their fury friends.

Mad Paws was great! The sitter I had, Tiffany, was very capable and loving for my 8 week old puppy. I’d definitely recommend Mad Paws!

Little Winston has been going to Kip for almost four years now. He is always excited to be dropped off and play with his friends (both human and doggy). It's definitely his favourite time of the week. The team do an amazing job at looking after Winston and plan lots of activities to keep him occupied throughput the day. I would highly recommend.

Ivan has been attending Kip Hobart for over a year now, and he's always happy to hop in the car every Friday morning, knowing where he's going! The staff always give him a wonderful welcome, and I love getting their updates throughout the day on what he's up to. Ivan has been going to Kip since he was six months old, and it's been great for making sure he's well socialised and plays well with other dogs. I'm so glad we have Kip as an option for him!

We take our Labrador Retriever, Juniper, to Kip Hobart once a week for a full day stay. She LOVES going there, from the moment we pull up to the kerb, she is chomping at the bit to meet up with old friends and make new ones. She is so happy and exhausted by the end of the day. The daily photo and/or video updates of what she has been up are the highlights of our day. The staff are so friendly, they remember every dog’s name and are happy to provide advice if you are ever wondering about changes in your puppy’s behaviour.

Always a positive experience dropping miss piper off and picking her up. She has been going for a bit over 12 months now, since we started puppy school. Her confidence has grown and grown being around other dogs, and even though she’s a complete diva all of the staff show her so much care and love. It has also been great to be able to ask advice and be given strategies and encouragement as piper is my first puppy.

Monty has been going to both the Hobart and Kingston Kip Centres for almost twelve months. He absolutely loves going to Kip and virtually pulls us through the door each morning, he is so excited to be there. Pick ups and drop offs are really quick and all the staff are really lovely and caring with him. Monty adores them and all of his doggy friends. We receive regular activity feeds each day so we can see what fun he has been having and when we pick him up at night he is very tired, which is great! He’s also had some issue with skin allergies so the Kip staff have been really accommodating in helping us manage that. We’re really grateful to the Kip team and highly recommend both the Hobart and Kingston Kip doggy daycare centres. Thanks Kip! From Julie and Monty

Treakle (a Brussels Griffon), now 11 years old, has been going to Kip (and previous incarnation, Club K9) since he was just weeks old - and the size of a Coke can, according to then Club K9 team member Scott. He has always loved going there and it has been wonderful for him - initially in socialising him and now as his favourite days of the week. He gets so excited when we tell him he is “off to see the doggies”. He has a great time there, with both his doggie and human mates. The booking system is very convenient and flexible. Only suggestion is it would be great if overnight stays were brought back as it was such a good option for when we needed to be away from home.

My crazy little beagle puppy has been coming to kip since she was 5 months old. As a high energy puppy she can be a bit of a handful, but all of the Kip staff are wonderful and patient with her. She's always so excited when we arrive, and completely exhausted from all of the play at the end of the day! We love getting the updates during the day with photos and videos of her having fun with the other dogs. The staff are all very friendly, the location is great, and the building looks very clean and secure. Highly recommended!

Sparky and Lola-Mae would not be without their Friday’s at KIP. Sparks has been going since puppyhood and is now a very frosty Boston and Lolly has been attending since we adopted her in 2015. They know when it is Friday and are waiting for their car harness with Sparky shaking with excitement, Lolly will start whining at high pitch if not taken up the steps and into the play area fast enough. I have no idea what they do there but Sparks and Lolly love it 🥰. They are also well tuckered out on Friday night, we don’t hear a peep out of then until Sunday 😂. Worth every penny.

Boston loves his days at Kip. The staff are amazing and he always comes home nice and tired out. Thank you to everyone for looking after him and giving him lots of fun times.

Ruby has been going to KIP since she was a few months old. She always jumps in the door so excited for daycare. Ruby always comes home happy and tired after a big day of playing with her puppy friends. We love the daily updates from staff. The staff are always friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend KIP Hobart.

Chip loves staying with Johannes and company. The level of care provided to the dogs with Pet Central is above and beyond and Chip thrives in the homely environment and being able to socialise with people and dogs during his stay. Highly recommend :)

I cant explain how Diego loves the days with them. Johanes and the whole team are completely amazing and I can tell once they come to my place and how happy Diego became so happy immediately. Or even when we are at the dog park and coincidentally we meet them. His reaction says everything. It's so good to see. I found them when I was about to have a baby and they made my life so much easier, better, relaxed for this challenge moment. The most important moment of our life I had those fellas to take care of our love ❤️ Thank you! Im so glad to have you guys!

Our Labrador has been loving hanging out with the lovely Johannes and his dog buddies for over two years. Johannes clearly dotes on the pets he cares for and our dog clearly loves and feels right at home with the team at Pet Central Hobart, we would absolutely recommended them.

Johannes is so friendly and it’s very obvious that he loves dogs! My Great Dane Biggie can be a bit timid to start with and Johannes was so patient with him and let Biggie come to him. He went on a big day of meeting lots of new dog friends and was soooo tired when he got home. I would highly recommend Pet Central!! Thanks for taking great care of Biggie. :)

For all the fur baby parents: I have been doing dog walk and daycare with Jo for more than 1 year. He is a reliable person and really cares about your babies. He offers anything he could and tailored you with your request. That’s fantastic! I’m working 6 days per week, I’m so worried about my doggie’s physical condition and feelings if he alone at home. Luckily, Jo takes care for DuDu, he is super happy everyday and waiting at the door to be picked up even while I’m at home. Get so jealous!

We were just going to try out Pet Central one day a week, but Johannes was so lovely to deal with, came and met Harley and they instantly hit it off. He updated us during the day, Harley came home so happy and exhausted we have increased to twice per week. If it was up to Harley she would probably go everyday. Couldn't recommend Pet Central more.

Kimberly, Steve and Elijah have looked after our whippets on numerous occasions and we cannot praise their service and care enough. One of our whippets had a bad start in life and is quite nervous of strangers, they have been so sensitive and helped her get over her fears - giving us the confidence to leave them without worrying. Kimberly’s pet services is a home stay environment, not a concrete floored kennel and Kimberly and her family care about the well being of her furry guests. Our whippets are calm and well loved when we pick them up. We cannot thank Kimberly enough.

We are traveling to Tas from Melbourne with our dog and wanted to visit the MONA museum. We left our dog with Kimberly’s per services for the day while we went. They were very easy to contact and organise with. Location was very close to our accommodation in Hobart so easy to get to and the price was very reasonable for a Sunday. We are happy with the service. Our only criticism would be that we did not receive any pictures or updates during the day to ensure we was doing okay. Thanks

We were visiting Hobart and needed Reggi sat overnight. Our caravan park suggested Kimberley's Pet Services from their experience, and we were very happy with Eli's friendly and welcoming manner with us and Reggi.

Very impressed by the slick operation and routine when we had our meet and greet - Kimberly evidently knows her stuff and has the dogs' (and people's) safety and wellbeing at the centre of how things are done. We were also impressed by one of Kimberly's dog carers who continued to speak with us and interact with our dog as Kimberly went to finalise a meeting with another family. This excellent service was continued on to the care of our fur baby for a week.

I've been using Kimberly's for months now on a regular basis (day care a few times a week for my dog while I'm at work) and I've never had any problems! Everyone is always professional and friendly and my dog loves going there. A nice big yard for him to play in, and one or two other dogs for him to play with. Happy dog, happy owner!

Twice now I have had to call Kimberly in an emergency because my Mum has been taken to emergency and Scooter (Mum's beloved doc) doesn't get on with our dog. Last night was the second time and Scooter was picked up within the hour, no fuss and it made me feel very relieved to see how happily she got into the van with Elijah (Kimberly's son). I cannot recommend this service highly enough - if there's an emergency and you need help they are there - and Scooter is a nervous Standard Poodle who settled without an issue and I suspect loved every minute of her 'holiday'. She's a dog that doesn't like change or settle well and this is the first time she's been happy anywhere that isn't with family. When you are already stressed it is a relief to not have to worry about your pets.

I placed my boys with Kimberly's for 10 days over Christmas. One of my boys was on a special diet which they were happy to comply with. On pickup both of them were happy and healthy and looking like they'd had a good time. The photos on FB helped to allay "mums" fears and Santa Claus had visited and they enjoyed a special doggy Christmas Cake!😊

I employed Kimberly's pet service to care for my little dog whilst I went on holidays. As a senior lady with my little dog my only day to day companion, I was extremely nervous about leaving my little girl.I have to say I was so relieved to be sent photos of my best friend being cared for with nothing but the best of care. I received photos showing her romping around the garden with other dogs playing, sleeping in Kim's bed,and enjoying her treats. When I picked Carnie up it was pretty obvious that she had had the time of her life, in fact she would have been happy to stay with Kim forever.I found this service fantastic and now feel I can safely have a holiday without worrying . I will definitely use Kim's service again and thoroughly recommend it to everyone in need of quality pet care.

I wish to share my thoughts on the outstanding and caring service provided by " Kimberly's Pet Taxi and Services " located here in Hobart Tasmania. Kimberly and her son Elijah run such a wonderful , caring and selfless service to provide outstanding care for animals in Southern Tasmania . Nothing is too difficult for them and they are ALWAYS there to help ... with such services as : transporting pets to vet appointments { whatever the time ! } , picking up pets from the Airport ( or transporting them to ) , caring for pets in their ( or their employed carer's ) homes whilst fur baby parents go away on holiday - a great alternative to your pet going into a kennel , doggy day care ( so special to me with my own dog Trigger !!! ) , pet feeding , pet walking or house minding and caring for pets whilst you are away . Kimberly's offers the " full service " at great rates and can ensure you peace of mind. Kimberly is such a dedicated animal lover who gives her whole care to caring for animals and also dedicates her time and finance to raising money for those animals in need .... a special person for sure. From a personal perspective .... I trust Kimberly ( and Elijah ) wholeheartedly and they are such important people in my and my darling dog Trigger's life . I moved here to Tassie 2 years ago from QLD , completely alone with my dog. He is my life and knowing he is well cared for and happy during the day whilst I am at work is so important . I have to work to support us and don't want my baby alone at home - therefore Trigger attends Doggy Daycare at Kimberly's house each day whilst I am at work. This gives me peace of mind and I know that Trigger is happy and safe , being cared for and also the added benefit of socialising with other dogs. I am so thankful I heard about Kimberly's ..... she has been a God send. My Trigger has now been attending daycare with her for 2 years :) Fellow fur bubby parents will understand I am sure .. the complete love we hold for our pets as members of our family and we want nothing but love , security and happiness for them xxx I wholeheartedly can recommend " Kimberly's " if you need any sort of care or transport for your pets !!! Absolutely great business. They were very easy to deal with when collecting my dog from Devonport and provided great service in transporting and delivering him to my home. They even sent me an update with photos of him arriving to meet my family, which was much appreciated and simply a great touch and great service. Earlier this year when I went on a holiday interstate I used 'The Fairy Dogmother' to look after my pup Edmund for a few days. I couldn't be happier with my experience. Eboni shared frequent updates with us about Edmund and how happy he was there. Having the dogs in her home and only allowing one to two dogs at a time is perfect, especially with an anxious dog who doesn't do well in a kennel type of environment. 🐾

Serg loves his day care and boarding days with his favourite Eboni . She takes him for his walks , plenty cuddles and car drives . She also helps coordinate day care dates with his besties . We can leave Serg with Eboni and don’t have to worry about him as we regularly get plenty updates . Highly recommend .
