Paws Pet Care has done a wonderful job caring for my dogs for several years now. Beth is super responsive with any issues. My dogs are always happy to see Carrie walk through the door for walks or playtime and I've been very fortunate to have professional sitters to love on my dogs when we are gone, Sondra being our latest. I highly recommend this group.

My cat is very shy and easy to get anxiety. The cat sitter from Paws Pet Care really understands her character. She communicates with my cat without pushing her. She looks after her perfectly according to my wishes. I will ask Paws Pet Care for next time.

I had a wonderful experience with Sydney and Paxton! My dog is older and needs medications, and they were great about staying on top of it. It was great having picture updates about how he was doing, and they spent extra time with him! They also kept in touch with my family at home to coordinate care. I highly recommend their services!

New Review the owners answer to this review is obvious a desperate owner trying save her rating. I have only ever had 1 sitter with this company and we got on well. I loved Katie and was sad when she left the company. Also I have 3 cameras and I told them about the cameras. Never tried to hid it. My cat has never gone potty outside the litter box. That however was not paws fault, it was due to an added dog in the house. However had it been caught earlier a litter could have been moved to the area she was in. I did talk to the owner at 2 am when the original sitter did not seem to let the dogs out. Demanding? I expect my animals fed, pet and loves and played with. I have copies of every conversation ever had with my previous sitter I would love to see any supposed abuse. I also had no problem with the pet care once taken over by the owner however the problems had already been set in motion ( wrong dog food). Also I would like to mention that Katie had zero problems with my daughters dog. You were hired for 12 visits in 72 hours. 4 times a day. I am glad you visited that many times that is what I asked for and paid for It is sad the owners decided to answer so petty and lie about what happened but you can judge by that alone. —— I can't fit my whole review in here, (the full review is on Angies list) basically I have used this company since 2016 and it's been awesome but my sitter is no longer with them and they gave me another woman who either is afraid of dogs or does not like them, she would not touch/pet/hold the dogs. She could not figure out basic instructions of how to close a gate or where the dog food is kept. (She fed my dog the wrong food) for one potty break visit the camera in the house does not show her even taken them outside. She will not work with skittish animals to get them used to her over all the whole event was a disaster. I came home after being out of state at a memorial service for a family member to a smelly house (the puppy pads were not changed and cat pee on the ground) and half a bag of dog food I had bought to test allergies in one of my dogs gone because the other dog was fed the wrong food. The owner of the company took over the care of my pets after initial problems with my assigned sitter but by that point everything was spiraling down hill.

The petsitter was great. She came over to meet everyone before we left for our trip. While we were gone she took great care of my fur babies and was very communicative the whole time. Any time I had a question she responded right away! I definitely recommend Paws Pet Care.

Marie Bray is the best pet sitter! She goes above and beyond to make sure your pets are taken care of and feel loved while you are gone!

We have been using Paws for about a year and a half now, and we have been very pleased. Both of the sitters we have used have been wonderful! Our cats are very well taken care of, and the extras like taking in the mail are much appreciated! It is great peace of mind to know our pets and home are in great and caring hands.

Paws Pet Care has an awesome service and Debi (our pet sitter) did a fantastic job in taking care of our little kitties. We moved to Louisville about 2 years ago with no friends or family nearby. And still hadn't developed any close friends that we'd feel comfortable leaving our precious cats. But we needed a family vacation and looked to Paws Pet Care for help. We were very worried about leaving anyone, especially anyone we didn't know with our home and our cats. But Debi helped in making our first trip a real vacation. She provided pictures with a report every day as well as doing all the basics of cleaning the litter, filling the food bowls and water. She even picked up some treats that we ran out of. It was a great experience and won't have any worries about calling on Paws Pet Care with Debi on our next vacation.

I can't say enough about Paws Pet Care! We were hesitant to leave our pups since we never have for as long as a week. We met Jill and knew immediately they would be loved. She was perfect! Texted pictures every day along with videos and commentary. She took care of my little vegetable garden and cleaned up a few accidents that the pups had due to being stressed from storms. Jill was so wonderful, it's hard to convey how much she eased our minds. Also Kristina was wonderful making sure we were set up on the schedule that was best for our babies. I want to THANK YOU so much for being so wonderful and loving our pets as much as we do!

The building is insecure. All you have to do is pull up on the kennel run doors and they will open. They are large enough for large dogs and normal humans to fit through. Anyone could get in the building at any time. There are also rats abundant.

Our dog was said not to eat much and was not exercised for the week she was boarded. We would have had to pay for daycare for that which we were not told. She was fed and loved on they said. Don't even know if she went outside at all. Paid over $350 for a week. Should that not have included outside time? We will not go back. Our dog came back very thin. Wish she could talk.

Everytime I got out of town they are who I trust with my babies! They make me feel safe with my decision to leave them and update me on their activities as I ask. It is hard to find trusted people with your pets but they go above and beyond to make the experience stress free.

I boarded my dog for approximately 12 hours, charged for 24 and when they brought my dog out his bed was partially soaked with urine and he was wet with it. l don't know if they ever let him out . Ordered a walk for him and don't know if that happened either, they did not observe my feeding instructions either. Someone should have told me that their pick up time was 10:00 am. Will not be returning/

Do not take your animals here! They take your Dog outside with heat factor over 90 and leave them outside and until they are unresponsive and then they die. This just happened to our Dog today. He was a frenchie that cannot handle being outside for a long period of time. He overheated, threw up and then had a seizure. Become unresponsive and passed way.

Not the easiest review to write as I never want to say anything negative about the local humane society, but... We boarded our dogs here for a week while we were out of town. We have 3 dogs, 2 medium sized and a small chihuahua mix and an older cat. The chihuahua is aggressive so they let me go back with him when I dropped them off. I was really happy to see how clean the facilities were and felt reassured they would be well taken care of. When we picked them up it was a very different story. The kennels were dirty and the entire back area smelled like urine. When we got the dogs out, they were all slightly wet and smelled really bad and my little one looked really thin. When we got them home we couldn't let them inside until they all had a bath. Before we left, we portioned all of their food out for the week to be exactly what they needed. We got roughly two full days worth of food back for each dog which made me think they may have missed a few feedings... I honestly was going to let it all go until last night when one of my dog started coughing before bed. She woke up this morning with a really dry cough. Even with having her Bordetella vaccination a few months prior, she contracted Kennel Cough on her stay. And we incurred a $100 vet bill today for antibiotics and cough medicine. This was our first time using their boarding facility and unfortunately our last.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place and these people! We have a very large (170lbs) pooch, and she is very nervous/scared and not easy to handle. Every time we have boarded her somewhere else, she comes back sickly looking and it takes her a few days for her to readjust. We boarded her here, and she came back happier than ever! The team here truly cares, and goes above and beyond every step of the way. Even with a more difficult pooch that is very large, they took the greatest care of her! We love you guys!!!

My dog gets excited when I drop her off there and is happy when I pick her up, She gets in the car, falls a sleep. When we get home she likes to play in the yard for a few minutes. Then she sleeps most all night.

Our two older dogs stayed here over the weekend while we went to a music festival. This was the first time they have ever been boarded, so we were a little nervous to say the least. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our dogs have a special diet. The staff took care of that no issues what so ever. Thanks for taking care of our girls and making their first boarding a good experience.

We LOVE the dog spot, our dog Louie has stayed many times, they take such great care of him, they provide plenty of play time and exercise, as well as human interaction. Gretel really enjoys The Dog Spot! I love that she can run in a huge yard and play with other dogs her own size! We’ve been coming here for years, Gretel is our second German Shepherd we’ve boarded here. I really appreciate Carol and her team! Our pup is always happy and never stressed when we pick her up. This is the only place I would trust with our pup.

First time visiting here, our Dane stayed for 10 days! Always nerve racking trusting a new place but she came home happy and somewhat calm thankfully. She’s usually very anxious and hoarse when she comes home from other kennels. Right price, right location for us and they post videos of the pups daily on Facebook. we will definitely be using the dog spot again!

I highly recommend the dog spot to anyone looking for a place to board their dogs. Not once have I ever had an issue with my dog staying here because Carol and her staff take excellent care of every dog that stays with them. My baby Jack absolutely loves coming here and getting to run around in the yard with the other dogs. He genuinely looks forward to visiting and getting to see his best friend Livy!

The dog spot was great to my fur baby! She stayed for 3 days and when I picked her up she gave the worker lots of love. It was reassuring to know she was in good hands and enjoyed the company of the workers! Kayleigh checked her in and checked us out as well. She was fantastic reassuring me she would be treated with the utmost care! The dog spot exceeded my expectations. Kayleigh really made me feel comfortable leaving my fur baby as she does have anxiety so I worry.

We've had our baby Jax at the Dog Spot while on vacation several times and he had a great experience. The staff is very nice and our dog seemed to respond well with them when we picked him up. We've never had any issues and he seems to enjoy his time with the other dogs and the staff.

I have taken my dogs here multiple times and have had no problems. They are very nice and treat my babies very well. When I picked them up they seemed to like the staff and have no problems with other dogs. I would recommend them to others!

The Dog Spot is the only place I trust to leave my fur babies , Kayleigh checked me in for our reservation over summer break. Her and Carol along with the whole staff did an amazing job at explaining everything . My dogs had the best time !

First time boarding our English Mastiff and was very worried but The Dog Spot took great care of Titan! We called on the afternoon of the first day and they checked with the caregivers and called us right back to assure us! They posted pics and videos on Facebook so we could see how well he was doing! Our Border Collie absolutely loves going to Soggy Dawg for both grooming and boarding. Great, professional people who provide an excellent service at a fair price. Our boy has a ton of fur and they are so patient when grooming him. We plan to be customers for many years to come.

Fantastic staff! Made me feel very comfortable with leaving my pet here for boarding. They Zegna me several pictures of my pet throughout the day. My dog looked happy and well-loved. They are the only people I will trust with my pets while I travel. The peace of mind they give is phenomenal.

Drop off was simple, grooming was excellent; unfortunately got caught up in traffic and was 20 minutes late picking our girl up. The owner was angry and apparently our little girl was not allowed to toilet outside because she voided in her cage and was wet when I picked her up. Gave them a hefty $20.00 + tip for the inconvenience! No acknowledgement! Disappointed that better customer service was not given!

Ann was nothing short of amazing to me & my fur baby Onnyx. She listened to what I wanted & followed the pictures I showed her. Very thorough & responsive. Definitely recommend Ann & her team!

I take my dog Harley here every few months and he still smells like he went to the groomer by his next visit. They get him smelling so good and his fur is always so bright and white. I would give 10 stars all day long.

our Goldendoodle is a very sheepish dog and doesn't like people. She does so good with them at Soogy Dawg. They take great care of her. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

I will not be taking my dog back there again. First, she didn't cut around his mouth or wash around his mouth. She said that he was moving around too much. Second, the top of his head is so uneven it's funny. There's short hair and long hair. Looks like she just cut UT as quickly as possible. But, the rest is pretty good.

Took our big boy Halo here for the 1st time. He is a 10 year old, 85 lb Australian Shepherd with a thick double coat. Not fond of being groomed. Soggy Dawg did an excellent job with him. Thank you so much. Best groom he has had in years and we have been to several different groomers in the area!

We contacted I-Sit Pets when we were planning a trip out of town for a few days. We rescued a very anxious dog a few years ago and he really needs a lot of patience and care when we are not with him. We have tried several options, but have not found a good one until now! Laura was so caring and nurturing to him and very patient. Our minds have been at ease with the frequent updates and seeing him so relaxed and playful.

This is the second year we used I-Sit Pets. I never worried about the care my pets would receive for one second. I did worry my pets would wear out Machelle where she would never come back. Machelle is fantastic. She has a calm personality. My 16 month old mini schnauzer was her best friend. Machelle gave him 100% attention, he was fed, he was walked. Amos was extremely attentive and caring for our two Shih Tzo dogs, who require a lot of coaxing to eat! They naturally took to Amos’s warm personality. I highly recommend Amos and iPads!

Betsy Rose and Amos took such great care of our dog Bella! They came by and took Bella for a walk, gave her lots of hugs and belly rubs. Bella loves the care that she got and considers them family now. I would highly recommend!

Time to add our five stars. Lisa texted us every day with an update, answered all our questions, showed us photos (whenever our shy pets permitted), and was very meticulous, meaning zero surprises when we got home.

Lisa is the VERY best. Every time I consider a trip out of town Lisa is my first call. She is flexible, reliable and takes such good care of my cat. She also doesn't mind the PARAGRAPHS of texts that I send her with detailed information. Highly recommended.

Lisa took care of my cat for about 2 weeks, and I when I got back he was excited but he wasn't super nervous like previous times and sitters. Lisa took the time to help my older cat feel comfortable despite him being a bit lonely. Overall 5 stars for no only price but for doing a great job of helping out and being flexible and having good pricing!

Lisa has watched our cat Maddie during our last two summer vacations. She is so dependable and most of all she loves animals especially cats. In addition to having several cats and a dog she also rescues cats and seeks to find good homes for them.

Lisa is highly recommended. I was originally referred to Lisa years ago when we were planning a vacation and asked our vet for pet sitting recommendations. We weren’t sure about having a stranger come into our house every day to take care of our dog and cat so the vet recommendation meant a lot. And when we met with Lisa for the first it was obvious that she is a true animal lover and a perfect fit for the job. Since that first time, we used Lisa’s services for various vacations and found her to be completely trustworthy and responsible. Since my wife’s death two years ago, I hired Lisa to come to my house every day while I work to let my two dogs out and feed them. It has made my life so much easier to have someone like her that I can trust in my home and who will treat my pets like her own. I don’t know what I’d do without her!

Lisa has watched our kitties twice, once for a weekend trip and the other for an international trip. I cannot recommend her enough! She loves your cats like they’re her own, and is extremely reliable and caring. We will always use her!

Lisa has been taking care of my Mom’s cat on a daily basis for the past 13 months. She is truly excellent, and the cat adores her! She is passionate about her work and extremely reliable. The special connection she has been able to establish with my Mom’s cat is astounding and heartwarming. Lisa is a terrific pet sitter. Lisa is the perfect pet sitter. She’s been doing this work I think for over 20 years but talk to her for just a little bit and it will be clear that caring for animals wherever she is is a lifelong mission. Her prices are very reasonable and it’s like getting double for your money because you know that she’s going to put that right back into caring for more animals. Each day Lisa came she took a picture of all my cats plus the two neighborhood cats I feed. I’d swear she’s a cat whisperer. All but one of these cats are very shy yet she’d manage to get sweet pictures of all of them! Lisa is very straightforward so you may get schooled some but I appreciated it because I know I’m getting the best advice I could ask for. I just couldn’t ask for anything better than the services Lisa provided.

Lisa has been caring for my cats when I travel for 2 years. She is dedicated to caring for the animals in her charge. It gives me peace of mind when I'm away knowing that my sweet kitties are well cared for. Also she is very knowledgeable about their needs. I have learned from her how to help them stay healthy. Lisa always takes good care of my cats. I have been having her care for my pets since 2015. I know my fur babies are in good hands when I am out of town.

Due to the pandemic I was unable to schedule an appointment with our normal groomers until August. however our little yorkie "daisy " was a hot mess' so I ended up calling around Bannon woods was able to schedule her May 28, i took her in yesterday. Let me just say they were amazingly friendly and worked with me to get want I wanted Daisy to look like. The did a great job actually getting her back looking like a yorkie and not a mop. I may need to switch groomers

This is one of the worst vet clinics in Louisville!!! My sister took her 9 year old dachshund Jack here to have him neutered last week. The cost of the surgery plus bloodwork was $450. For a 16 lb. dachshund!! Then afterwards he starts getting sick a lot throwing up not wanting to eat anything or drink any water so she took him back today to have him looked at. They told her they needed to run his bloodwork AGAIN and do a ultrasound to find out why his liver was enlarged. They charged her another $600 that HAD to be paid before they would release her son. They would not allow her to write a post dated check until she broke down in tears in the vet clinic. Then the proceeded to tell her that if her check didn't clear they would take out a warrant for her arrest!!!! Who tells people this?! This is why I will ONLY go to Shively Animal Clinic. They are the BEST in town, cheapest in town and will work with you on payment plans!

Bannon Woods staff is always helpful and take great care of my granddog! Their facility is one of the best, most welcoming environments I’ve ever taken a pet to, besides family’s homes.

Reasonable prices, Marguarite was very nice & professional, the building is beautiful since the remodel!! My Bocephus was clean & smelled so much better after his Splash-n-Dash!!

We've been taking our Boxer dog for a bath and nail trim about once every 6 or 8 weeks, ever since she was a pup. That's 8 years now. She just LOVES going. She is so excited to get in the car and always so happy to be there. This says to me that they are kind and patient with the dogs, because no boxer pup is an easy bath or nail trim, being spastic and bouncy as they are; And yet she has always loved going. Having had a dog in the past (a big bird dog with ticklish feet) that feared grooming and came home soar and lame (one time. We never went back) I know this isn't always the case. It means a lot to me that I can trust them with our dog. She always comes home happy and looking great.

Always nice and friendly. Our Miniature Schnauzer, Bubba always looks good and he can be difficult sometimes. They take good care of him. Our groomer 4 life!

They are amazing. My puppy was fine getting her nails trimmed until about 6 months old. She is a Great Dane/German Shepherd mix and I can’t do it on my own anymore. I’ve taken her to other pet places and salons and no one was able to trim her nails. I genuinely appreciate them and the fact that they are willing to learn my dog.

Always so polite and caring!!! Very gentle with my Daisy who hates her nails trimmed. Highly recommend!!!
