Dog Sitters in Ivinghoe

I have a large breed dog who is young and not easy to handle sometimes so I often worry who I leave him with. They loved him and cared for him well. Outcome, I came to collect a happy dog. Thanks guys

After having trouble finding some new kennels I am so pleased I found The Old Pastures. They are so friendly and welcoming and my dog seemed very happy after a 6 night stay!

I was worried about leaving my 11 year old Labrador because it was his first time in a kennels. I didn’t need to worry because he had a fantastic time. He was really happy and content when we picked him up after a four night stay. I highly recommend these kennels.

Can’t speak more highly of this local business. Bev and her staff have been extremely helpful and informative. At our pre-booking visit we were very impressed with the way the premises were maintained and felt that our dogs would be in safe hands. Unfortunately our travel plans have had to change and again Bev couldn’t have been more understanding and accommodating. We will certainly be back.

My nervy dog loves it here. The staff know him well and say he is fine when he is there. Clean accom and he gets a couple of exercise sessions in the enclosed paddock too. Wouldn't take him anywhere else!

I booked our two Westies in for a wash and light groom today ,( we are staying locally and do not know the area ) . I was asked to drop off them at 9.00am ,then at around 11.30am we were phoned by “Groomer’s” To say that they could not actually trim our dogs as they had lost their grooming license, They could only bathe them and clip their claws , which if I had been informed at the time of the booking or at the time of dropping them off , I would have gone elsewhere . To make matters worst when they had trimmed one Molly’s hind paw they had nicked a wick on one her claws 😤🤬

First time my two dogs have visited. They stayed all day. We have had a free two hour trial a couple of weeks ago.

I have known Alison for some time now , several years in fact. She is a caring and patient person. She is a great animal lover. She has dogs of her own and has brought them up in a caring and loving environment as well as giving them the right discipline. I have often turned to her for advice when we got out puppy Bichon 4 years ago. Alison has been a wonderful sounding board and helped in training our dog and understanding her. We often leave our dog with Alison and we know she will be in safe hands. I would trust Alison completely and highly recommend her services . Alison is very commited to what she does. Glad you have ventured into the pet service trade.

We could not have found a more wonderful place for our spaniel to stay while we were on holiday! Lillian and Chris were amazing and kept us updated with regular photos of his adventures with his new friends. He was so well cared for, with lots of walks, cuddles and pampering. So happy and grateful for everything - we 100% recommend Comfy Canine Care and will definitely ask them to look after him again in future. Thank you!

My dog had a wonderful stay here whilst we went on holiday. Every need was cared for in a home from home environment, with regular updates showing what a lovely time he was having! I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for 1st class care for your dog.

I cannot recommend Comfy Canine Care enough! I was let down by another dog sitter just before I was setting off on a 2 month trip and I took a risk and placed Alby with Chris and Lillian. I couldn't have made a better choice. They offer everything (and more) that they describe on their website. They are to be trusted, they listened to what Alby needs and followed my instructions but also made good decisions for him and his wellbeing. They send me regular updates and photos which was very reassuring. He was so happy with them, and so settled when I brought him home, which was evidence that he had been lovingly cared for. He even got a Christmas stocking which touched me beyond words and speaks eloquently of the love he was given.

We left our dog for just over a week whilst we were away on holiday and as this was the first time we were leaving her for such a prolong period, I was really worried and anxious. When I met Chris and Lillian, I felt reassured. Nala had an amazing time and we were had regular updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. Comfy canine care is literarily home away from home. We will certainly be using the service again in the future. I live about 30 miles away but will happily drive up to use their service again.

Lillian & Chris, gave regular updates on my boys stay, which was reassuring. Pictures of them out and about with new friends enjoying themselves. Their home was very welcoming and I will use them again when required. I would recommend Comy Canines.

Having not left our 2 dogs before and not wanting to use a kennel, we were so please that we chose Comfy Caine Care. They really catered for the personalities (both have their characters!) with one being more needy and one being more relaxed. We were so pleased of the daily updates and photos we had, as it really reassured us as they settled in as they were their for 8 nights. I really cannot recommend them enough and this will be our go to place when we next go on holiday, knowing that with them the dogs will also be having a holiday!

We can’t recommend Chris and Lillian highly enough. From the first meeting we knew they would be the perfect people to care for our girls while we went away. They were loved and looked after to the highest standard, we had messages, pictures and videos everyday and the girls got lots of exercise and played nonstop. With the weather being so warm they had air-con to help keep them cool which I know the girls would have appreciated. Our Linda went into season unexpectedly and this wasn’t an issue at all, Lillian had everything needed to help Linda feel ok. Little Darcy welcomed the girls into her home and shared her toys, bed and humans. She’s just the cutest, kindest little dog. I know our girls are missing Chris, Lillian and Darcy and I hope that in the future they would be happy to have Maggie and Linda again, we feel extremely grateful and appreciate them for how they looked after the girls for us.

Lillian and Chris took care of our 9month old puppy as if she was their own dog. We received regular updates of how she was getting on which really helped us not to worry. Nothing is too much trouble for them, their care level is first class. We will definitely be using them again, as Millie was so happy when we collected her, not sure she wanted to come home!!!!,

Lillian was fantastic with our cockapoo, Bernie for a week while we were on holiday, and he really enjoyed his time there. 100% recommend.

We are extremely grateful to vicky for taking such good care of our beagle Ray for the past 10 days. She kept us updated with regular pictures and messages to let us know how he was getting on. In every picture Ray looked like he was getting the best care a dog could ask for with lots of fun playing with other dogs and cuddles in the evening. Vicky understands the needs of dogs and has such a lovely nature with them. When we picked him up he seemed happy and content which gave us great reassurance that he was happy in her care. I wouldn’t use anyone else now we’ve found her, thank you so much for taking such good care of Ray 🐶

I cannot recommend Milo’s Paws & Pals, and Vicky, enough. From the start she has been professional, welcoming and her love of dogs shines through. Freddie & Ivy, our two mad spaniel pups, adore going to stay with her! There is play time galore and lots of cuddles afterwards. A true home from home for our much loved furballs. Thank you Vicky!! Vicky is brilliant with our two dogs, we get daily updates as to how they are getting on and lots of lovely pictures of their countryside walks! Can safely say our two love staying there, it’s a real home from home - we love that the dogs feel comfortable there and when we are away it’s like the dogs are having a holiday all of their own too thanks to Milo’s Paws and Pals 🐾

We were so grateful when Vicky was able to have our 5 month old puppy at short notice, after being let down by someone else. Scout had the best time, and we knew that she was safe and well cared for. Vicky and her husband were friendly, caring and relaxed with the dogs. We will definitely be back!

Vicky and her lovely family took such good care of our beloved Arthur while we were on holiday. When Arthur had his day trial with Vicky, he fell in love with her and was eager to get back to play with her and the other dogs. All the dogs are treated with the utmost care and respect by Vicky, who understands that no two dogs are the same or have the same needs. In picking up Arthur, we could see he had been well cared for, had been stimulated and walked a lot, and was content and happy. Vicky looked after my 11 year old staffy for three nights, was very nervous about leaving him, but when I picked him up, I shouldn't of worried the whole time, I got regular pictures of him out on walks, looked so happy! He was well taken care of, and it looked like he didn't want to come home with me, would definitely recommend Vicky to any dog owner, she treated my dog like one of her own.

Vicky was great throughout the process and took good care of our 13 year old chihuahua. She sent daily pictures and/or videos and kept us well informed. Our dog came home clearly having had a great time!

My little dog Feefo recently stayed at Vicky's, he was so well cared for and had so much fun, I received lots of photos so I could see how well & happy he was, I am so glad I found Milo's Paws & Pals, I don't want to use anyone else now ❤️

What would we do without Layla! We have been using Layla for her dog boarding and walking since the beginning and I can honestly say from the very first time we met Layla ,she put us at complete ease , and we knew then that our 2 elderly dogs would be in very safe hands. We have had Layla stay on many occasions and anything we ask is never too much trouble ! We get regular updates and photos and I know the dogs are being well cared for. We have been using Layla for a couple of weeks now and Lenny absolutely loves seeing her and going to walkies! We have asked to add an additional visit to Lenny’s day and without any hesitation she has been able to fit us in even when she has a super busy day. I could tell from our first meet that Layla was a very doggie person and that Lenny and her would get on! Anyone thinking of contacting Layla for her services do not hesitate

Our dog Max is a rescue and wasn't socialised when we got him. He's a big boy and can be a bit of a handful so we've struggled to find a group walk suitable for him. Layla has been really patient with him and he's now in a regular group walk with her getting some much needed play, fun and socialising. We're really grateful to her for giving him a chance, he loves his walks and is always happy and tired for the rest of the day after them 😊

Layla is very friendly, knowledgeable and trusted. She is a new dog walker for my dogs, she booked the secure field for them during the day, to get to know them, everything went well, and I had two very happy content dogs when I arrived home. We are all looking forward to their next session.

Layla is amazing with my nervous cat. After only one visit he did not shy away from her and he is now always at the door to welcome her when she is coming into him. She also gives you lots of lovely updates.

When your dogs have helicopter tails when someone comes to the door, you can breathe in the knowledge that they are the right person to be looking after them. When that happens daily, not to mention the tigger bounces and huge grins, you thank your lucky stars. Layla has a natural affinity with animals, is extremely knowledgeable and is an absolute pleasure to be around. She takes everything in her stride and isn’t easily phased by dogs that occasionally forget their manners or wake up in a Mr Meldrew mood. We can’t recommend her highly enough. Amazing with dogs … and humans!

Layla looked after my horse and cat over the new year. Both were looked after brilliantly and I was very relaxed whilst away, knowing that they were being well cared for. On my arrival home both seemed relaxed and happy. Would book Layla to look after them again.

Mandy, has been looking after 'Doug' (my Pug) for just a few months but, I can say he has really grown to love the walks Mandy provides. I'm busy every other week as I work shifts, so being flexible was a major bonus Pet Pal could offer, also vetting Mandy's credentials was a dream! You'll be surprised how many dog walkers I contacted could not provide the correct paperwork. I have found Pet Pal provides for me an extremely reliable, trustworthy and friendly service, I would highly recommend them. Thanks again Mandy :)

So happy to have found Mandy and her service. My dog loves going for his daily play with the other dogs! And he always comes back tired! Completely trust her and never have any problems!

Nina was so helpful when had to take a last minute trip. She came, fed and looked after my cat Wilson like he was her own, he enjoyed lots of cuddles. Nina even sent me updates on how he was doing while I was away. Really quick at responding and flexible. Highly recommend her to anyone with an animal they love. She is now dog walking for my mum. After 4 months of using We Love Pets to look after our new puppy, it is the right time to write an informed review. Nina has looked after our puppy Micky from June and has proven herself to be reliable, trustworthy and passionate in her love for animals. Nina has a wealth of experience and has enabled us to own a lovely well trained pet. Nina knows the puppies limitations and what situations are positive and negative for him and always puts safety first. Nina has always managed our expectations and we value her input. Nina is key holder to our home and is considered part of the family, we have a well trained and cared for bull dog and we thank Nina for all her hard work and her genuine love for him as much as we do. Micky adores Nina and we feel very grateful to have her.

Nina was so reliable and flexible, it was so nice to actually find someone reliable as we’ve been let down previously. My dog Max loves it when she sits him and he’s always so excited when she arrives. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Nina was amazing with my house bunnies. They're usually get quite stressful when they come back from boarding, but not from Nina. She just has a way with any animal. Amazing service!

Nina looked after my mother in laws dog brilliantly. Cared for Poppy like her own. Would highly recommend, total professional
