Wildcat took such good care of my dog while I was in town visiting family. When we had full and busy days, I boarded him so he was cared for when we were gone all day long. He seemed so happy and cared for when I got him back. The report cards were too cute and all of my family loved hearing them DAILY with pictures. Told all of my local family how great the experience was!

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Wildcat Country and would strongly advise against trusting them with your dog. Not only are they already overpriced, but they also nickel-and-dime you for basic services that should be included in the already steep fee. They charge extra to give your dog medication, which I reluctantly agreed to, trusting them to handle my dog’s care properly. Unfortunately, they failed at the one thing I paid them extra for—giving my dog his prescription eye drops. He came with his eyes a gummy mess. This neglect is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of responsibility and care. If they can’t be trusted to follow simple instructions, how can you trust them to look after your pet at all? The staff showed no accountability - they even asked for a 20% tip! Don’t make the same mistake I did—avoid Wildcat Country if you care about your dog’s safety and health. They are unreliable, neglectful and not worth the outrageous cost.

We have a very shy and timid farm dog (Bella) who is scared of her own shadow. The staff seem to go out of their way to make her more comfortable. We have used Wildcat Country Dog Retreat on four different occasions and have had no complaints! We usually call and check on her while we are gone and staff is very nice and willing to talk. When we dropped her off last time a staff member remember and called her by name as we walked in and when we left Bella went around wagging her tail to tell everyone bye. We will be back.

We could not have happier. They saved our vacation. The hotel we were staying at didn't allow unattended pets in the room. We had tickets for things already. I called Wild County and they were great. They even verified with my vet back home for the current vaccine records. The staff is great, extremely helpful and perfect with our boys.

We have been taking our dog here for 3 years. We have never had a bad experience. They have worked with us a multitude of times. The fact that the employees recognize my dog before checking in, really gives us lots of comfort. Our dog loves this place so much that as soon as we turn onto the driveway, he immediately perks up and that tail is immediately going. As soon as we walk in, he immediately runs to the staff. Being a nervous pet mom that doesn’t trust ANYONE with my dog, this puts me so much at ease every single time.

Loved the report cards and photos sent! The time and effort put into this alone means a lot and lets me know that these are truly dog lovers that are caring for my babies!

Excellent!! First time boarding for 2 dogs over the July 4th week. The staff were fantastic and I loved seeing a daily update on how my furry friends were doing. We were able to pick them up one night early, and arrived without notice. The gal at the front desk was so kind and offered to adjust our bill. Our dogs were clean and happy when we picked them up. I will definitely be back and will recommend this facility to family and friends.

This was our first experience using Wildcat and it far surpassed all of my expectations! My dog is reactive, so it was hard to find a place that I could trust to handle my dog, Apollo. The girls that worked there didn’t bat an eye when they met him and knew how to handle him the entire stay. They gave him the best care and sent report cards back every night. We will definitely be returning in the future when we go on our honeymoon in October! Thank you Wildcat staff for such a positive experience all around!

I would recommend this retreat to anyone! My baby Hank was treated like a king all weekend. He had a wonderful time and the report cards and photos sent home were so reassuring. I will definitely be booking here in the future.

I rarely write reviews and I feel compelled to do so for Wildcat Country Dog Retreat because I love this place so much! I've taken several dogs here over the years ....old dogs; shy dogs; and the present one (an energetic puppy) and all my dogs have loved it here! I am very picky about who takes care of my dogs and this place checks all the boxes! They are warm, professional, and responsible! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

I’ve been using K9 Safari for several years now! Marlize is great with the dogs, and they are always so excited to see her! When we pick them up they are always tired and happy! I love that my dogs aren’t spending my time away in a kennel. She always sends lots of update pics and is extremely easy to work with for scheduling. You won’t regret using K9 Safari!

THE BEST BOARDING EVER. I had been looking for non-kennel boarding for my two dogs Ridley and Murphy. Murphy has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well in an enclosed space. I found K9 Safari and was so excited I emailed her right away. She got back to me quickly the same day and we set up a “trial” sleepover the next week. Drop off was very easy and my dogs were so excited they didn’t even look back at me as I drove away. She sent picture updates of them and she let me know how they were doing throughout their stay. Pick up was just as easy as drop off, both of them were so happy (and a little sad to leave). I knew they had the best time and were well taken care of. I will never be boarding them anywhere else. ☺️

We have used K9 Safari twice so far and Marlize was wonderful with our dog Winston! We wanted a place that was kennel free and this was perfect. We received pictures daily of Winston playing outside with all the other dogs. We had a tired and happy puppy once we returned home from our vacation. We will definitely be using her service again. Very reasonably priced and accommodating. I would highly recommend her service!

K9 Safari is the absolute best. My dog Beans stays multiple times a year due to my work schedule and also attends weekly doggy daycare. His excitement when we arrive speaks for itself - he absolutely loves going and it gives me such peace of mind to know he's safe and enjoying himself. Marlize is wonderful, and the daily pictures are great! Highly recommend!

K9 Safari is a real gift in our lives as we travel often and for long periods of time to Europe. Our two standard poodles are in excellent care with Martha (Marlize) as she has a vet tech background and a wonderful non-kennel facility. The dogs run and play all day every day under the trees and then sleep in Martha's house. No screened in runs. Just fun and fresh air and play. We highly recommend K9 Safari and wouldn't dream of leaving our dogs anywhere else.

I took both my dogs to K9 safari for a weeks stay while we went on vacation. Upon dropping them off I felt like the outside area smelled strongly of dog urine but thought maybe it was my sense of smell because I’m pregnant so I didn’t say anything. She was good about sending photos most days although I have no clue if they were new photos or photos taken all on one day and sent on different days. When I picked my dogs up and when I dropped them she wanted me to text when I was 30 min away, when I got to the exit and when I arrived at her house. Upon picking them up they met me at the vehicle. They had brought one of my dogs with the wrong leash and harness which wasn’t a big deal and they exchanged it out for the correct one. They didn’t return their food so I called her and asked if they had any left. At first she said no, then she asked if their food had been in a ziplock. I identified how their food was brought and she confirmed they did have food left and brought out what I’m pretty sure was the exact amount of food they came with. After getting home I realized quickly that one of my dogs had an eye infection in both eyes that required medication. My other dog had a very large abscess develop on his neck that required lancing to drain, antibiotics and laser treatment to heal. I spent over $500 on vet bills from issues that occurred to my dogs while in her care and she never mentioned any issues. While both issues may have been unavoidable because of the other dogs at the resort I feel like these are things she should have noticed and told me about. Both of my dogs acted very different for the first week or so home like they were scared which is not like them. I would not take my dogs here again and would not recommend them to anyone.

K9 Safari is the only place that I trust to leave my fur-babies with. Marlize was very friendly, I recieved photos of them playing with other dogs daily. It is great that they get to socialize with other dogs and be in a kennel-free environment. My dogs looked so happy in all of the photos I received from K9 Safari. It looked like they were having a better vacation than I was haha. K9 Safari made my vacation stress free & I knew my babies were in good hands. They came home happy, healthy, and tired 🤣

This is the ultimate vacation for your dog while YOU are on vacation! It's like playing at the dog park every day! Kennel free boarding means your dog will be happy and well cared for and can run and play just like he/she's at your own home. Marlize is the person in charge and she sent me pictures every other day to show me how happy my dog, Ruby, was. It means you don't have to worry so you can enjoy what you are doing while your dog is enjoying what it is doing. When I picked up Ruby, she had a big smile on her face and you can tell she had a great time. This is a wonderful place to board your precious pet and I will be returning soon!

K9 Safari is a home away from home for my dog Oakley. I get pictures daily and have never seen Oakley so happy. Marlize takes such care of the dogs and allows them to be dogs and enjoy being outside and not in a kennel all day which I and Oakley love since he is sometimes there for a couple of weeks each time. When Oakley sees her he is so excited and dogs are like children they won’t hide how they feel. I would highly recommend this business.

Found K9 online; the process of making a reservation is easy and quick. Left my dogs 3 nights / 4 days. I was sent multiple photos each day which I really appreciate. It always hard to leave your pets with someone so seeing that my dogs were having fun was really nice. However, when I picked my dogs up, all of them were sick with Kennel Cough. They hadn't been boarded for almost 2 years; they don't go to dog parks and because they are ridiculous to walk, they basically go in and out of the fenced back yard. So, I was quite surprised and taken back when all 3 of them ended up sick. Although the cost to board is reasonable, the vet bill and medications was that of the stay. I have no idea how they contracted kennel cough, but they did.

My husband and I started sending our dog Lola here. At first she was deemed “special needs” because the new environment was causing her to be anxious. But they were so patient with her and gave her so much love and care. They were also great about keeping me informed. By the next time she went she was loving it! No longer “special needs” and she has such a great time. Thankful to have a place close by with such friendly, caring staff. 10/10 recommend!

It was my first time boarding animals so I was a nervous Nellie. My veterinarian said he has several customers that used All Creatures and he had not heard anything negative. We came back early and surprised them with an early pick-up. No problems. My shelties came home well cared for and happy. I am thankful for everyone there!

Great kennel, spacious run space, very decently priced and lots of cool extras! Was nervous about leaving our old dog (very unexpected) and the manager was super knowledgeable, very attentive, and had our anxious doggo eating out of her hand in no time! Great atmosphere, kept super clean, plenty of great options and add-ons, too. The peace of mind was worth it on its own! Finally a place we can trust!!

All creatures inn went above && beyond for my fur baby. Unfortunately my bf && I ran into some complications && had to have Mamba stay for an extended period of time && not once did i have to question if my baby was alright. They absolutely went above && beyond makin sure Mamba (my baby) felt like he had a second they welcomed him open arms played with him they got him treats when they didn't have to && kept his sleeping area on point at all times for him. It's so hard for me to trust places like these but when I tell you THEY WILL LOVE ON YOUR FUR BABY like it's their own that's exactly what they'll do && you don't have worry about a thing. They did a great job updating me on everything that happened && they send cute pics/videos to ease your mind. If you need a pet sitter or have an extended vacation && need a safe loving place for your baby THIS IS IT!! All creatures inn is absolutely amazing && there's really nothing more u can ask of the awesome staff here! Your fur baby will love it here guaranteed. I can’t say enough great things about this place! First time I ever had to board my dogs but will be going back here in the future. Reasonable/transparent prices and the god-send of multiple-dog discounts, always answered the phone when I’d check in, clean facility for both people and dogs, flexible pick-up/drop-off times and the staff is obviously very attentive; midway through their stay, the staff noted signs of a UTI (straining, bloody urine) in one of my dogs and called me. They offered to call their vet and pay that bill on my behalf then and added it to my final bill so that my dog would be seen and treated early. My dogs stayed long enough to get complimentary baths and their grooming service was top notch, actually calling and clarifying my expectations. The came home happy, healthy and smelling/looking great!

This is the best kennel in the area. I’ve been taking my dog there for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Nancy runs the show and she is kind, wise and attentive. My dog loves going here and usually falls asleep on the way home when I pick her up because she has so much play time here. I never worry when my dog is here. I know she is safe and getting lots of love.

Nancy and her staff are very good at what they do. Nancy will return your call as soon as she can..The groomer both of them do wonderful job. They have done really good with senior cairn terrier that was a little mouthy. Now they have groomed our new Australian shepherd, Chancellor and soon Harlin. We got our dog through The Haven for Dogs which is tied to All Creatures' Inn and that was a very good experience with an easy process and great service! We have also housed our dog at All Creatures' Inn and were very pleased with the care provided as well as the friendliness of the staff and clear love for animals. We always know our dog is in good hands when we board with them. I would strongly suggest this to anyone who is looking for a place to board their animal!

Christine Martin is an absolute gem, and has created such a safe, loving, and reassuring environment where we can leave our pup, who is basically our daughter since we do not have children. We have boarded Pokey at Pet Companions Country Inn many times now, for up to a full week at a time, and she has always come home happy, healthy, clean, and well nourished. I can see why she has so many loyal clients, many whom appear to have been bringing their animals to her for well over a decade. Our pup gets many hours of play time each day, as well as her own space and time to rest and retreat to regularly. Christine is such an intuitive person; she appears to own many different types of animals of her own and she can observe and sense which dogs will have good chemistry together in play groups, as well as individual dogs' needs and 'personalities'. The property where the kennel is located is serene and beautiful. I love that it is next to owners' residence, so that somebody is on premises around the clock. The kennels are spacious and safe, with indoor and outdoor runs that Christine and her staff thoughtfully manage. The pickup/dropoff hours are absolutely worth managing your own trip schedules around. Other pet boarding places might have superficial bells and whistles that take resources and focus away from what really matters: a safe second home for your pup. I would not think of boarding my dog anywhere else. Thank you to Christine and your wonderful staff for everything.

Pet Companions takes special care of the dogs they board. I like that, if you want, they get them out exercising and socializing with other dogs. Great place that you can feel good about taking your furry friend. Our dog always is excited to go.

PCCI is my ONLY place for my pups. I started using them over 12 years ago when I moved here and have never looked back. My dogs get so excited to stay over at "family". The owner and her team are so mindful of the difficulties that come with sensitive pups, be it older dogs wanting space, ones that are nervous or even my current crazy socialite. She is the absolute best hands down.

I have been taking my dogs here for over 15 years. Christine took care of our first set of pups who crossed the Rainbow Bridge after 15 years, and she’s been taking care of our new dogs for a year. They love her, the staff, and we appreciate their care! I wouldn’t take your animals anywhere else.

We have two very active young dogs and finding and a kennel we could be confident in was a priority. We found that kennel at Pet Companions. Christine and her staff are wonderful. They take great care of our pups giving us the comfort of knowing our guys are in good hands. Our dogs enthusiasm when arriving there to be dropped off is a testament of how they enjoy it. I brought my rescue dog, a bearded collie sheep dog there a few years back for the first time and was terrified leaving him since he was abused as a puppy--and you hear horror stories about kennels! Christine took time to talk to me and took great care of my baby boy, who consequently has some social issues. He'd improved a lot since I rescued him but he is extremely close to me and fears my leaving him. While as because of that he's always glad to see me and ready to come home, but did very well in Christine's care. Sometimes he's been known not to eat in my absence but she and her staff had him eating and drinking very nicely. They allowed him to amble about within safe parameters until he made friends with other dogs there. Some kennels have high ratings but the actual kennel is dark even with the lighting. For domesticated dogs today, I wouldn't want to be shut away in some strange, noisy dark area most of the day. The dogs do have access to move inside and out freely within their individual kennel. Because of their care I still drive the distance from Lexington to take my dog to this caring environment whenever I have to be away. For anyone who knows about kennels, I highly recommend Pet Companions Country Inn. And good for the owners second to peace of mind is affordability! Shauna C.

They take such good care of my dog. The owner is friendly and my dog loves her. They are much cheaper than most doggy daycare places.

My family has been using Pet Companions for over 12 years and wouldn't think of taking our dogs anywhere else. Christine is fantastic and clearly loves her job. She takes great care of the animals and gives us great peace of mind. I often seems like our dogs are happier getting dropped off than getting picked up.

I have loved using Snaggle Foot for my cat's care when I go out of town! The owner is always quick to respond--I reached out about a week before my first trip and was able to set up a meet and greet a couple days later. Afterwards, I felt at ease knowing that my cat was in good hands each day while I was away, and I appreciated the post-visit texts and pictures of my cat. I would recommend Snaggle Foot to anyone in the Lexington area!

I started using Snaggle Foot over a year ago when my elderly Golden needed a bathroom break in the middle of the day. Karen and her team have been amazing! It is so convenient to schedule visits and pay bills on the website and they are great with last minute additions and cancellations. It made me feel better to know someone was checking on him during the day and our sitter Kelly has been wonderful about texting if anything is out of the ordinary during her visit. I highly recommend the Snaggle Foot team!

I cannot say enough nice things about Snaggle Foot! We moved to KY and had a horrible experience with another pet sitting app that would agree to tend to our two dogs, only to cancel a day or two later. Snaggle Foot is a professional and caring pet care service that is responsive to the customer and loving to the fur babies! Highly recommended!

I wish I could give Kathy, Ryan and the rest of the Snagglefoot team more than 5 stars! Kathy (the owner) came to my house to do an interview with my pug Pete and I, and answered all of the questions I had. I felt so comfortable using Snagglefoot after meeting Kathy in person. The first time we used Snagglefoot, I called Kathy in the morning when I realized my flight home was going to be delayed. Ryan got to our house within a few hours and took Pete on a nice long walk to hold him over until I got home. She even left a detailed note telling us what they did! I so appreciate Snagglefoot, and I wish we started using them sooner!

When I was recovering from surgery, all the dog walkers and owner were amazing! I also had a smaller, elderly dog who passed away while using snagglefoot, and they were all so nice and understanding. I used them for two or three months I think. Would definitely use again!

We called on these fine folks out of an emergency. They were referred by a good friend who has used them and continue to call on them as they travel a lot. I got to say that I have been extremely impressed and I will never call on anyone else!!! Our provider was right on point!! she even watered our plants and brought in our mail!!! was just like clockwork!! Love Love Love these guy's!!! Highly recommend. 10 Stars!! **********

I've scheduled with them three times now and anyways get the best pictures and notes from the walk. They are very quick to respond and accommodate short notice requests.
