He was so loved and looked after during his stay there, I felt completely comfortable being abroad knowing he was being so well looked after. I loved the photo updates from Emma, and when I got home I could see just how much my boy loved Emma, her husband and children. Will not hesitate to leave him there again when we go away. I couldn’t have asked for a more caring or kind person to look after our elderly dog woody. Emma made us feel at ease straight away and won our dog over with a piece of chicken on arrival! Emma made sure to update us throughout the day and sent photos of him resting and playing. The best sign was that he was sad when she left!

Emma is the perfect dog-walker and carer; she is so kind, knowledgeable and very professional. I booked her to look after our 3 spaniels for 14 hours on my daughter’s wedding day. She also came along to meet them the day before. Emma was lovely with them and took great care to reassure them during all the wedding chaos as they were unsettled by being in a strange place with lots of noise. One of my dogs was unwell on the day and Emma dealt with her so well. I was very grateful she was there, as were the dogs who really liked her! Emma put in a very long day for us and took the worry away on what was a very special day for our family. I can highly recommend Emma and will definitely be asking her to look after my dogs again. She’s a treasure!

Teddy adores Emma as she is such fun and he loves his walks. As a Cockerpoos he can be full on but Emma gets him to behave correctly. Always reliable and fully knowledgeable about animals. She has also cared for a friends cats. Teddy also enjoys overnight stays. Cannot praise her enough. Lovely lady, great service.

So trustworthy and flexible. We had never used a dog sitter/walker before but Emma took all our worries away. She has looked after our small terrier and retriever pup so well when we are at work and provides us with regular updates. Emma is really professional but also relaxed and friendly - someone you can happily have in your home and helps you feel really at ease with leaving your pets. Even though Emma advertises dog care, and we have a cat, we enlisted her twice this year to come visit our cat at our home every day when we were away. Each trip was 2 weeks long, and Emma fed her and gave her plenty of fuss and attention (when Miss Cat made an appearance...). Emma also kept houseplants from dying and post from piling up. She was totally reliable, irrespective of crazy Devon traffic due to road closures, or dreadful weather. Based on our girl's reaction, Emma is as good with cats as with dogs. We came home each time to a very contented kitty. We have total confidence in Emma and her care for our cat and our home. So pleased we found her! Thank you Emma!

Let me start by saying that I am extremely particular when I choose someone to look after my dogs. They have to be perfect. I have interviewed many people who haven’t made the grade. This may sound harsh, but because I’m asking someone to look after my dogs, who can’t speak and tell me what’s happening, because I have five large/working breed dogs, this has to be someone I feel has enough presence, capability and confidence to manage them. I have to really trust this person. From the second I met Emma, and not only my happy, waggy labs and retriever were pleased to meet her, but my neurotic “gah! New people!” spaniel also wanted to get involved, I just knew. I was leaving my dogs with Emma whilst we were all on holiday, so I had to have extra confidence in her as I wasn’t near my vet etc. I didn’t doubt her for one minute. Emma is lovely! She’s kind, caring, flexible, punctual, calm, understanding, professional and just all in all lovely! (She also takes great pictures of your pooches!) My daughter met Emma the second time she looked after the boys for us and she said “I know exactly why you trust Emma, she’s got that good person vibe. I know why you trusted her with the dogs straight away.” And that’s it really. Emma is brilliant. If you’re looking for someone to look after your dogs in The South Hams, then may I recommend Emma? Because you really won’t find anyone better.

Emma looked after Bear for us when we needed to be out for day but couldn’t take him with us. He is very particular about who he likes and dislikes but took to her immediately and didn’t miss us at all. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

Delighted with the service provided by Paws Pals. After an initial meeting, where we had the opportunity to discuss our pet’s needs, the service was very easy to use. Julia looked after our cat Phoenix when we went away on one of our many holidays. It was great that we had the piece of mind that he was safe in his own home and couldn't speak highly enough of the service provided. We first contacted Paws Pals 5 years ago when my wife and I were both travelling extensively. At the time we needed a cat sitter for two cats for 6 weeks. Since then we have used them frequently for long and short periods of time. Over the years we have had many difficult requests, for example we adopted a stray tom cat 2 years ago that had to be kept apart from the other cats for a month and during that time we had to be away for a couple of weeks. Julia, who owns Paws Pals, did not mind in the slightest and got on with everything without any issues. We now have 3 cats who all need feeding different food, at different places and one of them is an indoor cat who requires a litter tray. I have to say Julia has been amazing over the years and we owe her so much. She is super responsive, efficient and flexible and we trust her completely. The cats never seem to miss us when we get back.

We've used Julia to feed our two cats for three years and have been very happy customers. We always come back to a clean and tidy kitchen and happy cats, and Julia is always very responsive to emails, both before and during the cat-sitting.

I met Ollie and Emma (Paws Pals) as my lovely friendly neighbours, and was delighted to have them looking after my two cats for the past few years while I've been on holiday. They not only provide an excellent and reassuring service for the humans, but very obviously love getting to know new cats. It is evident that they genuinely care for them. My favourite pet sitters by far! I was a bit apprehensive of leaving my cat alone for a week due to her separation anxiety and general nervousness but Elle and Archie put my mind totally at ease. Elle is a godsend! Contacted her super last minute after I had to go away urgently and had to find care for my two elderly cats. I had to leave my darling little Teddy for the first time ever with Jo as a dog sitter and I have to say initially I was so apprehensive as he has always been looked after at home. I could not have been more happy and cannot thank Jo enough. Teddy had the time of his life, made amazing fur friends, was taken on lovely walks and even developed some new passions that I never knew he had! Jo sent loads of videos and texts whenever I asked how he was and I truly cannot be more happier. Ted came back with a spring in his step , totally relaxed and contented to the extent I worry he is bored now he is home! To see him snuggled in with her dogs and having such a good time made my holiday go so much more smoother knowing he was in capable, loving and superb hands. I have met Jo on several occasions when she has brought her client’s dogs to me for grooming. Jo always goes above and beyond with dogs in her care, she has a very caring nature and has rescue dogs herself, she understands dogs needs and behavioural patterns. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone to care for and exercise their fury friend.

Jo is a fantastic caring person who has a vast canine knowledge and our 2 dogs are always excited to see her which says it all. Would highly recommend and is much nicer than putting your dog into a kennel especially if they are rescue dogs, which she has a lot of knowledge about.

We came across Liz when we booked a holiday abroad and didn't want to put our 14 year old and 13 year old in Kennels. Obviously, due to their ages, we were very nervous to leave, no need to worry. Liz would send pictures and updates via WhatsApp, and it was lovely and reassuring how well the trio looked. We also have a 6 year old who is a rescue only had a year before going away. Already booked them for their next holiday.

Absolutely 100% would I recommend Liz and Dinki Dogs for dog boarding. We had regular texts and photos with updates which re-assured us that Hugo (cocker poo) had indeed settled and behaved himself with the other residents. The professional approach together with the experience brought means our dog is happy and loves spending time with them. Stevie and Becky go above and beyond to help you and your pets. My terrier was very withdrawn after losing his canine pal and it made his barking at every other dog he passed worse. They took the time to introduce him gently to other dogs on walks and they are so patient with him when he goes on his 'play dates' with other dogs (Barkers Social). It has really improved his confidence with other dogs (as well as his recall at the age of 11) and I can't thank them enough. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them, as I love how responsible and trustworthy they are too. My dog absolutely loves them, which is great!

As a fellow dog walker myself. I often see Lorna out on walks with her clients dogs, & if I felt in anyway she was not capable of controlling or having any dogs safe whilst in her care. I would not put one of my own clients dogs in her care while I am on maternity leave. She has a kind nature to her, & every dog she has with her shows how much they adore her. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service, Lorna is qualified and experienced, but above all she is passionate and had the best interest of my pets at heart. Nothing was too much trouble. Great value, trustworthy and reliable. I noted one negative review on Google , this is a million miles away from my experience and as someone who has over 15 years experience teaching Animal Science I can vouch for Lorna's knowledge and competence.

Lorna recently looked after my two cats Talis and Luca and she was brilliant. Very professional and caring. Having not left my cats before with someone I did not know, I was a bit nervous but after meeting her before I went away I felt very confident as it was obvious that she loves animals. I am keen to express my thanks to Lorna who kindly supported me last week when my normal dog walker was quite unwell and my husband working away and myself full time working, I was in a state of panic for Smartie and his dog walks. Lorna was able to pick up Smartie walks from the day I contacted her. Smartie came back a very happy pup. He really enjoyed his walks and especially when with other dogs of Hazy Days Lorna was professional, came to pick up Smartie when she said she would and just lovely to meet. You could tell that Lorna really cares for the dogs she walked and more importantly Smartie was always bouncing to get out of the door to get to Lorna when she arrived. Lorna is gentle, calm, focused on your animals well-being and obviously knowledgeable about animal behaviour and welfare. She walks my big labrador and he adores his walks with her. I trust her with a key to my home and even more valuable my dog. She is flexible with times and days, easy to arrange dates with and Merli comes back happy and tired after a run around with his best friend. Choosing her for dog walking was a great choice.

I visited Torbay and needed my Dalmatian walked as I had a meeting he couldn’t attend with me. I’m a fellow dog walker in another area of the country and I was blown away by Lornas service. Gemma is an absolute god send when it comes to our boy Oscar! Oscar has been walking with Gemma for just under a year and I have found her reliable, professional and a real dog lover. Oscar has previously been some what challenging for other walkers but Gemma has reassured me that by working together we get the consistency and commitment that Oscar needs. When I get home Oscar is clearly well exercised and enjoying his nap after his walks. Communication is great and Gemma is very accommodating if we need to change days around due to work commitments. High recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mr Bob my 8 month old Labrador goes to Oh My Dog every week when I’m working. Juliet and Eugene have created an amazing facility for the dogs where they play and socialise. My 2 young rescues absolutely love it here! Juliet and Eugene obviously genuinely care for all the dogs and know them really well. I always feel like I'm leaving them in safe hands. They come back exhausted from adventures in the woods and playing on the equipment which is great! Highly recommended.

They have been very accommodating with our Great Dane who has been going now for several months and thoroughly enjoys it, and we are content knowing that she is well looked after. Juliet and Eugene have created something truly special with Oh My Dog. We have a sweet and very nervous rescue, plus we are first-time dog owners with our own confidence issues, none of which were judged or dismissed by these wonderful kind folk. Juliet made me and our girl Alice feel safe and welcome immediately, and went above and beyond to help us acclimate. We visited multiple times, increasing her time in the facility with each session based on observing her behaviour and body language. I learnt so much! While it is still unclear if Alice will ever be fully joyful to enter a roomful of dogs, her confidence and ours have been positively impacted by this kind of safe socialisation in ways that have changed our lives. Our trust in each other has grown, our bond is stronger and this has opened so many doors for her quality of life to increase. Thanks to her 'exposure therapy' with Juliet and all the other gorgeous pups at Oh My Dog, Alice has now made multiple new dog friends locally, and is enjoying off-lead time at a dog-friendly beach. I don't think these things could have happened without Oh My Dog, and Juliet and Eugene's wisdom, generosity and kindness.

We are so fortunate to have found Juliet and Eugene at Oh My Dog, they are the most kind, caring, gentle and lovely humans and have an amazing passion for dogs which was apparent from the moment we met them. Our whippet has been spending one day a week with them for over a year and is always very happy to go in when we drop him off. He has such a good time enjoying lots of play, socialisation, an afternoon snooze and enjoys lovely woodland walks each day where he can let off some steam with zoomies. We can't recommend "Oh my Dog" enough. We were looking for a place where we could drop our dog off whilst we explored the area looking for our new house. We took our little Jack Russell to see Juliet and Eugene initially for half a day to see how she would get on. She had a great time interacting all the other dogs and we booked her in for several more sessions. Both Juliet and Eugene adore dogs and are patient and caring. It's a shame we are moving to a different area as we're going to find it hard to find a place as good as theirs. Thank you to both of you.

Sonya has been great with Tilley who is a rescue dog inclined to be wary of new people and knows her own mind - so it was reassuring to see them get along so well at their first meeting! Tilley has now been joining group walks for a few months and has really come on well - she's much more settled in the car, zooms and plays with the other dogs and her recall is getting much better ( although it can still be abit hit and miss so not giving up the long line just yet! ) She always comes home happy, tired and often wet since she can't resist a muddy puddle or river paddle - Sonya often sends a short video of the walk and it's great to see all the antics! We’re new to Devon, recently relocating from Derby and in the process of doing this, leaving our fantastic dog walker behind!! This was probably one of the hardest things to do and since then, finding a replacement in our new area that meets our needs, has been a challenge and not as easy as I thought it would be. But then I found Sonya who owns Paws and Hoofs on the Moors, she came and met me and the dogs in our own home, talked about what we were looking for and what she could offer, and generally made me feel very confident that she would be a good fit for our dogs and would make it her priority to get to know them, understand them and take care of them as if they were her own……all very important things to us, when trusting someone else to walk our dogs for us whilst we’re out at work. And she is already proving to be a good choice and is just the perfect match for us and although it’s early days, so far the pooches look like they are enjoying their walks and Sonya reports back each time, to reassure me and let me know how they’ve got on during their walk. So pleased to have met Sonya and hope our new routine continues to work well for the pooches and she enjoys walking with them. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a dog walker and can’t fault the service so far!!

We met Sonya & Bosco a few months ago after looking for a dog sitter for our dog Max for quite some time. Max instantly took to Sonya, which made us happy! Sonya is great with him and I feel very confident that if we leave Max he is in safe hands with Sonya - I would highly recommend 🙂 …

We met Sonya and Bosco a short while ago, and after a few meet ups and field walks, started to have her help us with our unsociable dog. We have utilised her both for non group walks and house sitting, which we have been extremely pleased with. On walks, our girl comes back happy and tired which is great, but most importantly when Sonya and Bosco house sat, we came back to a clean home and happy girl. Despite the awful weather Sonya had managed to keep the house clean, wash the used towels and even hoover up before we got back. Thank you Sonya and Bosco, highly recommended

My 2 dogs enjoyed their first walk with Sonya. There was torrential rain during the walk and my mutts came back soaked - but happy!! Sure they'll be as keen for the next walk.

My two labs had a lovely walk today with Sonya, they were tired and happy on their return. thank you for the photos and they look forward to next week

Sonya was a great help taking Maisie for walks when my knee was painful. She obviously liked Sonya and always came back happy.
