I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!

Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly & Thomas
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. My dog had a medical emergency while in John’s care and I credit him with saving my pup’s life. You couldn’t ask for a better sitter in a pressure situation. He also communicated regularly during the stay, keeping me posted on how my pup was doing. Would recommend John to anyone who needs a sitter they can trust.

I’m sure most folks say the nicest things about their sitter, but honestly, if there were a “super star” status available then Denise would win the prize as sitter of the year! From the start, Denise was an excellent communicator. While we were still in the decision phase, Denise was always available to chat either by FaceTime, telephone or text. It was so easy to choose Denise; as you can see from her countless 5 star reviews, she truly is the only pet sitter you’d ever need and the one everyone hopes to have. Denise came to our house eager to meet us, our pets and the quirks of our house. Denise has an excellent sense of humor and immediately put us all at ease. Our pets took to her as if she was a long lost friend (even our finicky Siamese cat was loving on her from the start). While we were gone, our dog had a non-emergency health issue come up and just like that Denise was taking her to our vet, and administered the dog’s meds like a champion (Denise is also a nurse BTW). Additionally, Denise brought our pup to her scheduled groom appointments and even made future appointments for us to make our return home as seamless as possible. Denise was even above and beyond helpful to our neighbors and they appreciated her giving them access to our refrigerator when theirs broke down on Thanksgiving Eve! When we got home we were super impressed by how perfectly immaculate our house was! Most sitters leave the house clean, but Denise met and may have even exceeded our military standards of clean and orderly. Seriously, our house felt like we never left it. Everything was spotless, shinny and clean. She didn’t miss a beat!! Our pets were so happy to see us but honestly, I felt like our pup and kitty were disappointed when we walked in the door (I believe they were expecting to see Denise!). Haha. If you are ever fortunate enough to have Denise apply for any of your sits then I can’t recommend her enough. Seriously, you can stop reviewing applicants and just go with Denise. She was awesome in every sense of the word and I hope she’ll come back and stay with our pets again.

We loved Misty!!!! She was absolutely the most perfect baby sitter for our dog and an amazing short term tenant at our house. Not only did she keep the house clean but she even washed everything she used before we got home. We even got a couple gifts from her. She is such a sweet human, kept in contact with us while we were gone and sent videos of the hikes and walks they went on. I would 100% ask her to stay at our house again

They took very good care of my pets which involved feeding cats twice daily, fish once or twice a day and filling up fountain for birds. Animals were healthy and happy when I returned. Nothing was lost or broken, and Diane even found a lost grinder part that had fallen into the cats food while I was using it. They are a pleasant couple. They were invited from Wednesday to Sunday. They arrived on Monday so had 3 days instead of one to learn the pets routine. They also informed me that they wouldn't be leaving until Monday morning, but that worked out well since I was mistaken about the end date of my cruise and couldn't get home until Monday. Everything was left neat, but I had minor housekeeping to do (clean sink, fingerprints off glass table, sweep floor). They are older than stated on the profile, which they said only allows 65 as a top age. 68 and 73. Bruce has health problems that requires he sleeps sitting up in a chair that has a leg lift, which luckily I had, so he slept in my living room. They are fine caring for cats, but my friend with a dog decided to find another sitter rather than leave him with them (she was going to pay) because they seem somewhat frail.

The two-leggeds and four-legged members of this household give Tess a 5-star rating! We think she's one of the best sitters you will find - highly communicative, friendly, competent, reliable, and great with pets. Tess was also flexible about start and end dates to accomodate possible winter weather complications. For this sit, Tess was able to bring along her mom, Cathy. Tess introduced me to Cathy during one of our Skype conversations prior to the sit. It was a bonus to have her here with Tess. Their travel to Marquette was complicated by weather. A fierce winter storm swept across Michigan just before the sit. It took Tess and Cathy two days to drive here but they arrived, as promised, in time for us to fly out early the next morning. We even had time for a lovely dinner together and to introduce them to the dogs and house. We left the next day and never had a moment's worry while Tess and Cathy were caring for our pets and home. Tess sent us regular updates and photos. The dogs immediately accepted them as great new additions to their pack of friends - even our cranky, old chihuahua, Nike! We returned to happy pets and a spotlessly clean home. We plan to invite Tess (and Cathy if available) to return for future sits. Thank you, Tess and Cathy!

I could go on forever because Veronica was beyond incredible! We feel so fortunate that she was able to sit for us. Our fur babies were so spoiled with love and attention. Veronica followed their regular schedule, gave our dog her joint supplement, and helped clean her paws with medicated wipes from our vet. Our cat is very shy and sometimes doesn’t even come out for sitters and he loved Veronica! She brushed him and gave him so much love. They were both so happy when we came home. Veronica went above and beyond for us! She even made us masks, got us some disinfectant spray we haven’t been able to find and to top it off she made us bolognese sauce with sweet chicken sausage! She even left us a new box of pasta to make when we got home! We couldn’t believe we got to come home to an incredibly clean house, dinner and such happy pets! Veronica sent pictures and updates daily which made our time away even more relaxing. She took cleaning and sanitizing very seriously which we appreciated so much! We highly recommend her! She treated us, our home and pets just like family. We would love to have her sit for us again and are so grateful for everything she did for us! Also - dinner was delicious!!

Kelly looked after our 5month old Cocker Spaniel pup - I was a bit nervous to be leaving her - but needn't have worried. Kelly had everything in hand and such a nice well equipped place. A welcome relief to hear Coco had had a fabulous first "holiday" and settled in well and quickly with the other dogs! Would have no hesitation in recommending. 🐾 👌
Kelly had our German pointer for a week. He was settled and happy and had the best time with her dogs! I didn’t worry at all whilst I was abroad, and she met all his weirdo needs. Definitely using her again for our longer trips end of year
Our two greyhounds go to Kelly for day care. They clearly have a brilliant time with her, and she treats them like part of her own family. Kelly is really knowledgeable and is great for advice on everything greyhound related! One of our dogs was badly abused before we got her and has lots of anxiety and socialisation issues; Kelly is fantastic with her, and our hound is completely confident and settled at Kelly's home.
Kelly was fantastic with our two greyhounds and lurcher. So nice to see someone who understands the breed and we can trust with their care in those time when we need to leave them. They had a fantastic doggy holiday at Dacie Greys!
Both my terriers boarded with Kelly over the October break. They were well cared for within a lovely family home with lots of space and home comforts. Knowing they are so well cared for makes leaving them a little easier!
Kelly looked after my old boy Omey recently, and I stayed for the first hour and watched him instantly settle in, and play with Kelly’s own lovely pooches. I received regular photo updates of all of his adventures, and when I picked him up, he was happy and healthy. Simon and Paula run the most wonderful business and I cannot thank them enough for the fantastic service they provide. I have two great working cockers and they just love the break at Blackhillock Boarding Kennels. It is so evident that they get great attention, entirely appropriate exercise and first rate food. Thank you for looking after the boys so well and they are packed and ready for their next visit!
This is the only place for my dogs where we can rest assured that they have the best care and attention. Paula and Simon are absolutely fantastic and have "a way with dogs" which is not a commonly found attribute.
The lady was so lovely. Showed myself and husband around, then the dogs. Took them to the paddock where they are out 5 times daily. Spotless place and very helpful. Had bad experience with a kennel before and she's totally put my mind at ease.

Our experience of Blackhillock was great. It was our first Kennel experience and we went there from Elgin, upon recommendation. Plenty of 'free' time for the dog, he came back contented, not having learnt to bark frequently by copying other dogs and he smelt clean and was fluffy! Our satisfaction was confirmed when Paula could remember some 2 years later that we had once used their Kennels and upon arrival as soon as the boot was opened Quito bounded out to meet the owners and went with them tail high and wagging. If you plan to give them a go, do book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Wonderfully friendly family run business. Great facilities with your dog's welfare central to their business. You can trust them implicitly with our spoilt little pooch.

Fabulous service! Sue walks my dog regularly at least once a week. Our cat is quite elderly and needs medication so we worry about leaving her but thankfully we are able to call on Sue at Croft Pet Services. She is very professional and follows your instructions but you can tell that she is also affectionate and caring towards your pet. We would 100% recommend her services.

Sue walks our bouncy flat coat Jura weekly, she is reliable and very flexible to our needs for extra walks etc. We love the fact Jura gets a proper off lead run around and Jura is delighted to see Sue. Would definitely recommend.

Andy and Karen are absolutely brilliant with all the dogs, they have supported our nervous dog to feel very comfortable and built her confidence hugely. We have used the day service and boarding service, both fantastic, they treat the dogs with so much love and care. Our pup just loves to go out to see them.

It's hard to find somewhere you trust with your pets when they're rescue dogs and a bit nervous but Brumley Brae have been brilliant. They even took my diabetic dog straight to vet when he wasn't looking well and definitely saved his life. My other dog Rebel is very scared of people but is always so happy to come to stay and goes with all staff with a very happy tail and no looking back!
We have arranged for our 2 cats to be boarded here for 28 days whilst we relocate from overseas back to Scotland. The staff here have been very helpful, professional and caring throughout this difficult process. The cats are housed in large separate runs with cat flap to external areas again separate. The cattery / kennels are in extensive grounds conveniently located just outside Elgin. Opening times are restricted to ensure care for animals. Highly recommended as an excellent cat / dog boarding facility..not cheap but worth every penny for the care and peace of mind. We can readily make regular visits during operating hours.
The only kennels I’ll use! Hamish loves his visit every time. He gets so excited to go, and he’s always happy when I collect him. My mind is at ease knowing he’s being looked after - despite his occasional behaviour issues - the staff are wonderful.
Looked after our Vizsla for a week in October holidays. She is shy being a rescue dog and we lost her brother Max middle of the year so we're quite apprehensive about leaving her. Staff were very reassuring and we left her and felt at ease. Staff even kept in touch whilst we were away to give us an update. Dog was exercised regularly and given one to one interaction. Put our 2 dogs here for 10 days, was abit worried as mia is a nervous anxious pup when out of her own environment but they were excellent with her spent time in her kennel to put her at ease. Molly was no problem. When we picked them up they were both very happy pups & I would definitely recommend here & will definitely be booking them in next year again. A big thank you to all of yous for the fabulous care you gave our pups.
This place has bunny rabbits to view out back! Also a pet shop with all the essentials inside for your pets, they also have a garden centre not massive but plenty to buy and kennels if you need to leave your pup for a while. They've always been lovely people and very friendly.
All the staff here are lovely, friendly & helpful. I buy my dog food & treats here regularly. The only drawback here is the terrible till/ stock control/ code system. A couple of times I’ve nearly said to just leave it, as it was taking so long to find a price. I wish the owner would update the system.😕
My husband and I have used Bauds many times over during the past 15 years. Our wee Yorkie was always eager to get to Bauds when we reached the top of the road. She instinctively knew where we were going. Her eagerness said it all. We never doubted how well she was looked after by both the friendly owner's and staff of Bauds. It made it much easier for us to relax and enjoy our own holiday breaks away. Thank you all at Bauds.
My doggie Oso, spent over 2 weeks there while I was on holiday. Was a bit concerned leaving him for so long, but the staff there were so helpful and put me at ease. Came home to a happy doggie. Would totally recommend.
Having put my dog to this kennels the staff were friendly and I was reassured that she would be well looked after unfortunately on my return my poor dog had lost 4.1 kg in weight lost her coller and lead and the staff couldn't remember the dogs name when I confronted the owner he was no help what's so ever
Has been my kennels of choice over the the lives of my last 4 dogs. Great staff and dogs come home healthy and happy.
