Great kennel! Our Hopper is always excited to visit the girls at Riverview and all the dogs too! Highly recommend, they put our minds at ease while on vacation or medical appts. Thank you He's Happy to be home too!!

We reserved a time to have our dog checked out by the nice people at Riverview kennel, before leaving her for daycare. They were amazingly kind and our dog fit in well. We left her for four hours as a drop in, as we were traveling through the area. Our dog had a wonderful time and it was a great experience overall. I would highly recommend Riverview kennels to anyone.

My mom had used riverview kennels for a few long weekends in the past and had a good experience. She went into the hospital and eventually end of life care. Riverview cared for her dog for 2 weeks. The staff was very insensitive to me during the worst days of my life, putting me down and mocking me. (I am not a dog owner myself) they were being well paid and presented it as a favor Or hindering them to care for her dog.

My dog Cosmo, howls with joy when he realizes he is on the road to Riverview for Doggie Day Care! He is soooo happy to see staff and to get to play with friends. He attends about 1-2x a week. He has also been boarded. I highly recommend Riverview!! They really care about all the critters in their care.

Riverview Kennels is a great place to leave your pets when you can't take them with you. My wife and I have been loyal customers for years. Our dogs always loved staying at Riverview. We have moved out of Oregon and my wife and I and our German Shepherd Cali miss the wonderful owners and staff at Riverview Kennels. Anyway, I just read about their VIP program to help shelter dogs become more adoptable by moving them to Riverview Kennels and have them stay there and get socialized and obedience trained. What a great idea. The owners and staff are good hearted people to undertake that mission Thank you to Riverview for doing that. And Thank you for the good care you gave our doggies. My experience with Riverview kennels is nothing short of wonderful. I have been taking Miley for daycare off and on for several months. The facility is clean, organized, and staffed by people that really care. Kimberly and Mike have done so much to improve and make the facility a truly quality place to take our precious dog. Their daughters, Emily, and Hannah are always so eager to greet and take care of their guests “our dogs “. Miley and I just finished our six week obedience training class at the facility. Jan Gordon was our amazing instructor along with her assistant Hannah. I can’t believe how much I learned from them and consequently, how much Miley learned from all of us. I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to benefit from what the whole facility offer. Thank you Don

We took our puppy Mr Darcy here, and he (and the staff) seemed to have a wonderful time. There are multiple areas for dogs of all sizes, and the staff really seem to care about the dogs. We live a few hundred miles away, but when we come back, we'll definitely be taking him here again!

Prior to the new ownership this was a fantastic place to board. I do not trust strangers, no matter who they are trainer or not to take care of my dogs in a communal environment. That is asking for a traumatic and potentially permanent behavioral accident waiting to happen. It feels that this place is searching for cheaper costs at the expense of actual animal safety while toting that it is 'better' for communal boarding. I will be seeking elsewhere to board. Thank you for the years, previous ownership. I won't even waste my time at this place. It has nothing to do with my dogs passing 'evaluation' it has everything to do with actually being *actually* safe and peace of mind while I am five hours away.

My dogs really enjoyed Riverview Kennels until the new owners took over. We can no longer board our dogs there because they did not pass their dog evaluations. Our dogs have been to doggy daycares, kennel free boarding, and MANY play dates with friends and families dogs without a single instance of dog aggression. They were raised with cats and are even great with our new 6 week kitten. We were totally blindsided when we were told that they "went" after other dogs as this is something that has never happened in the 4/6 years of them being alive. I feel like the evaluations are great for dogs going for daycare but feel liken we should be able to board our dogs with the option for them to not play with other dogs. I also feel like the evaluations should be done with the owners being able to watch, as owners are going to know their dogs and their body language better than someone just meeting them and watching them for a couple hours. We are missing the old owners and heartbroken that our very dog friendly pup was labeled as "aggressive". On a positive note, the front staff have remained very polite and courteous

Jack loves coming to day care and spending time with his friends. All the staff here is so friendly and caring. We board occasionally. Jack has been groomed, and we just finished a 6 week good manners class. Can’t say enough good things about Riverview Kennels! We’re so lucky to have them in our community.

We took our Yorkie Belle here while we went on a jet boat trip. I was concerned about her as she doesn’t handle kennels well. It turned out they took extra special care of her, took pictures of her with the beautiful background from their yard as she took a walk, and she seemed very content when we picked her up. We were so happy to have such a nice place to leave her while we enjoyed the boat trip. We highly recommend Happy Hills Kennel.

We came from out of state to enjoy Jerry’s Jet Boats, but we were a little apprehensive about leaving our dog with ‘strangers’ for the day. No worries! Ryce and Julie were wonderful to Dallas. They even sent photos of her to our phone while we were on the water! Awesome! T

Magical hilltop location! You can tell as you drive up the road to this hilltop paradise that your pups are in for a treat!!! We were very happy with our two pups 4-night stay. We received pictures, videos and had great communication while we were away. The hosts were inviting, personable and flexible. Thank you for the peace of mind while we were traveling!

Happy Hills watched my dogs for a week while I was on vacation, and my dogs came home safe, well-cared for, and happy! The owners are passionate about pet care, and familiar with a variety of dog types. My dogs are not usually good with other dogs, and so they accommodated us by walking them and giving them alone time in their dog run. I would highly recommend Happy Hills for anyone who needs either doggy day care or overnight boarding.

I took my dog here for the 1st time and she stayed for 2 nights. The kennels are beautiful and the owners extremely professional and also you can tell they love dogs. They even sent me pictures of my dog having fun while we were gone! The price is incredibly reasonable! I would definitely recommend.

Wow, what can I say! We are on vacation, 650 miles from home, on a almost 3 week camping trip along the Oregon coast.....with 4 dogs 🐕 😀 Well we called on a Friday and they got them in that Saturday for doggie daycare! We really needed a break, had a nice lunch, got in some relaxing time and got refreshed. They were super nice and the dogs were happy and tired from a day of fun. Can't say enough about this kennel, they are fantastic. Only wish we had them available to us at home. We wouldn't use anyone else! Thank you Hilltop, you were a life saver for us!

We boarded our little precious Sweetie (cat) with Happy Hills & had a wonderful experience. This was her first time ever being away from mom & dad & she was completely content & came home a happy cat! She was happy to be home home but hasn't shown any signs of being traumatized or unhappy. She came home healthy & I believe the staff of Happy Hills fell in love with her too! They said she was very social & talked a lot 😁 We will use their services again I'm sure & highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pet as much as we do!

This kennel is AWESOME. My 3 Cocker Spaniels did daycare for 2 days and did wonderful. The second day, they went with them and didn't even look back. So happy that I have a nice dependable place for them when I visit Gold Beach with them. They sent pictures which was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful place with a spectacular view to boot! Owners are super kind and took great care of our little Zoey for the day.We will definitely use them again if need arises. Super people!

Took Waylon here for the day while we did a jetboat tour. We very rarely leave him so I was a bit nervous. While on our tour we received pictures of our super happy boy looking like a model with the ocean background. Loved the outdoor large clean kennels and the overall vibe. We definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic people and dog care! The staff is extremely kind, upbeat, and understanding. They obviously take the time to know each dog individually, and they are sensitive to each dog's needs. My 14 year-old retired Service Dog Bonnie is completely blind; and every time I go to pick her up either after a superb grooming or a stay, she is contented and peaceful. Sonya was a wonderful staff member. They all have been. The only suggestion I have is perhaps investing in a more renovated facility - they are obviously doing the best they can, but sprucing the place up a bit would make it better for the staff, as well! I will keep on coming - and I am a Service Dog trainer by profession. Great work, Lu and Rue's!!

We boarded our Aussiedoodle for one day. When I went to pick her up, in just going into the office the stench was extreme. Dog kennel are going to have this smell, but aga8n the smell was extreme. My dog only weighs 18 pounds and when I put her into the car, she reeked of the smell. I had to bathe her to get it off. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and this just might a bad day, but I don't think I would chance a return visit. Perhaps you might judge based on the smell as you walk into the office.

We went to the Oregon Sand Dunes and needed to board our dogs. Lu & Rue's took great care of our fur babies for a VERY reasonable price . Would use again and recommend to all.

We love bringing our dog here for daycare 3x a week. She gets so excited. We've only had her groomed once here with no issues. The staff are so friendly and treat each dog as if they were their own. We couldn't be happier with them!

So grateful to have this daycare in town! Their whole staff is super warm, capable, and kind. Our pup absolutely loses his mind with excitement the second we pull into the parking lot. My fur babies are well cared for when I have to travel for work! Definitely my go-to for boarding or as I prefer, sleep away camp for doggies. Also our go to for grooming, primarily toenail trims. But if they're in need of a good scrubbing they're where I'd go 💜

I am very grateful we have Lu & Rue's in this area. My dog loves it there and gets so excited when she knows we're close. She loves to play with the other dogs plus they have a great groomer. I can't recommend them enough!

Lu and Rues runs an awesome business. We have been taking our 6 month old Labrador retriever for the past couple months. They truly enjoy their job and have an amazing love for animals. Our pup loves going to daycare and comes home tired. They are a professional and accommodating business.

Jamie helped me out so much when I had to leave on a trip. She took excellent care of my cat, took photos and had updates everyday. I felt much better leaving my cat with Jamie and I appreciate the extra effort and travel she did.

While the service is not cheap, it is certainly comparable to boarding 2 animals and hiring a house sitter. With Jamies’s service, you will not have the problems encountered with individual pet sitters. You will not experience last minute cancellations, or breakage of household items, or a messy kitchen, or lots of phone calls about house problems. Jamie’s team will work to keep your time away stress-free. In my personal experience, they have arranged air-conditioner repair, dealt with a water leak, and cared for ailing pets. The most telling thing is that my dogs are thrilled to see their pet sitters.

We love Lucky Dog Lodge! Camille is wonderful with our Border Collie, Daisy~Mae. We worked all summer on fire contracts and Camille borded Daisy for several weeks at a time. Her rates are fair and she did a great job which allowed us to do ours without worry. We are very grateful for Camille and highly recommend LDL for your pet sitting needs.

Owner Camille was very thorough in gathering information about our dog Hershey. Kennels were clean and well maintained. She described daily schedule and required items to bring for his stay. She encouraged us to ask any questions.

This was our first time boarding with Camille. From the moment we drove into the secure facility we saw a nice Sandy play area, open, secured ,very clean and the little kennels are inviting like home. Camile has accommodations for the little pups and big kennels for the big dogs and everything in between. Our Winston who is a corgi had the best time with Camille she exercised him, took him out through out the day to play and potty, fed him what we needed him fed and she posted to FB pictures and videos. Camile was quick to text back when we asked the status of how he was. We are so pleased and happy with the service and the care Winston received we will definitely use Camille and the lucky dog Lodge again. 5 star resort for your pet. We highly recommend Camille. Many people refuse to board my German Shephard due to "his breed". Camille at Lucky Dog was so welcoming towards him and he LOVES going. VERY clean, temperature controlled, and attentive facility. Absolutely reccomend 😁 …

Lindsay is by far the most reliable and trusting person that I know to care for my dogs. Whether it’s day care or boarding the level of care is consistent. She is also very knowledge and experienced with different types of dog behavior and runs her kennel efficiently and safely. She is also so accommodating and she structures her hours of business in a way that is very convenient to owners. The area in general is a laid back atmosphere and doggos are always having a blast in the play yard. She also offers training and fun engaging activity for the doggos. I cannot recommend enough! We had been having some behavior issues with our Australian Labradoodle puppy and Lindsay was there for us from the beginning! Because we live in Seattle we could not access Mt. Baldy Kennels easily we resorted to talking on the phone. Every conversation we had with Lindsay was like gold. She is very compassionate, direct, and intelligent about dog training and gave us invaluable insight to behavior issues. We ended up sending our pup (and our other) to Mt. Baldy Kennels because we didn't want anyone else! They stayed there for a board & train and it was the best decision we ever made! She goes out of her way to make your pup part of the pack and teach them confidence and manners. We are so thankful for Lindsay and would recommend her services to literally anyone with a pup. We now take our doggies everywhere and feel much more confident in supporting them and their needs. I can’t say enough about Mt. Baldy Kennels and Lindsay! While working in the area my sweet Olivia had training, stayed many days with daycare, and lengthy overnight stays once while I was out of the country. She’s very accommodating takes great care of my pup and just a wonderful experience all together including candid photos, Easter egg hunts, and birthday partys. I just can’t say enough about Mt. Baldy Kennels. My assignment is over and we have to leave. We will greatly miss Mt. Baldy Kennels especially Lindsay and all Olivia’s friends. Our family travelled in from out of state and needed to board our pups during a 4-day rafting trip on the Rogue. Lindsay made us feel so comfortable and took great care of our dogs. One of our dogs doesn't get along well with others, so Lindsay was able to keep our 2 together but separated from the rest of the pack, and ensured they got plenty of time on the big yard to run and play. She sent along some photos of them having fun and it was great to receive those once we were back within cell range! Definitely recommend Mt Baldy Kennels and if we find ourselves back in the area we will for sure board our pups with her again!

I love Mt. Baldy Kennels. Lindsay is very knowledgeable about my dog’s breed. I love that my dog can play outside all day. I feel like my dog is well taken care of while she is boarded there. Gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. Lindsay is also very responsive to questions and concerns, answering in a timely manner.

Lindsey is amazing. I have a 12 yr old birder collie who kinda would rather just hang out w humans. She took excellent care of Maggie and would let her just hang out w her. She will be my go to for all future boarding for my pup. So glad I found her!

Lindsay truly provides a loving home-away-from-home for our dog. She takes such good care of him that we don't worry at all while he's at Mt. Baldy Kennels. Her comfortable inside kennel is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Her grounds are super clean, and she provides a large fenced area for the dogs to play. Our dog loves going and playing with his "friends". We are so thankful that we found Lindsay. She is a gift and blessing to our community!

Kelly and her staff have taken amazing care of my cat during short and long vacations. The last one was over 2 weeks and Kelly sent me pictures of my cat and her interaction with her over email since I was not receiving texts while overseas. Even my husband was so impressed with Kelly sending pictures nearly every day. Kelly and Wendy are the best. I was out of the country for two weeks on vacation, and they minded my house and my five cats, two of whom didn't come out for them. We used Kelly's Pet Sitting just last week for the first time. Like some other reviewers, I was so nervous to have a stranger watch my pet other than friends or family, but we are new to the Medford area and don't have contacts for that yet. By the time our initial interview was done, we knew Kelly's services were going to be just what we needed We have a very old cockatiel. Kelly did the pet sitting and her professionalism and updates are priceless. I do worry a lot about leaving my pet home when traveling but because Kelly was so good, she set my mind at ease. This is probably the first vacation I have taken where I really did relax and it's because of Kelly's Pet Sitting service. She provided me with daily updates and seemed to even thoroughly enjoy the time spent with my bird. She even sent me a short video of him singing to her!! And when we got home, my bird was happy, and did not seem stressed out at all. It was great. I trust Kelly with my home and my pet. I will definitely be using her service as often as I can. I think her service is better even that family and friends because she is so knowledgeable. If I had found her where I used to live, I would have used her then. So glad I trusted my instincts about her and her service. You can too! I hope you will because you will find the support you have always needed when you can't travel with your pet!

My cat was so happy that I hired Kelly to watch over her on a recent trip! Kelly was incredibly professional and so easy to work with. She also understood how much I would miss Pearl and gave me regular updates. When I came home, Pearl was calm and happy--very different then when I just had friends drop in occasionally to check on her. Kelly also got the mail and took out the trash. Truly a great service and worth every penny.
