Shelby is awesome! We left our two pups for the first time in 3 years and went out of the country. We really thought we were going to worry the whole time but after meeting Shelby and seeing how she interacted with our boys, we relaxed a lot. Getting multiple daily updates with pictures and details put our minds at ease. The dogs seemed relaxed as well, not sure they even noticed we were gone! :-) I highly recommend Shelby and will be using her to look after our pets from now on.

Shelby did a fantastic job watching our 2 kitties, Morrison and Louie, while we were on vacation. She sent us timely updates each day accompanied by photos of each of our cats, which gave us great comfort knowing the kitties were in good hands. She was successful persuading our timid cat, Louie to eventually start trusting her upon her visits. Shelby has walked my dog a number of times. She is a very pleasant person who obviously loves dogs. Each time, Shelby provided photos and input on my dog’s behavior. I could not ask for a more caring or more trustworthy person to look after my dog. Her business is very professionally run and her communication is excellent! I would trust no one else!

Our boy Toby loved this place. While on vacation this summer we dropped him off daily while we went and did our thing for a few hours. He absolutely loved it. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Huskies are escape artists and we never felt worried or unsure of his safety. We wouldn't hesitate to come again when we're back in the area.

They are best in business.. we visited Colorado Springs with our dog(who rarely goes to dog daycare). We needed a daycare for few hours to visit pike’s peak and double J pet ranch came to our rescue. My dog loved his stay and came back so happy. They went out of their way and waited for us a little extra to close. I felt like I left my dog with a family member. Thanks a lot Double J pet ranch. If you’re looking for the best place to board your dog in Colorado, look no further!!!! This is hands down the best boarding location we’ve ever taken our dog! Not only was she excited coming into Double J Ranch for the first time but she was smiling and even attempting to leave our car when we left!? The level of care the staff provides is incredible! They learn about every dog who comes in and they are practically family now. We left our dog for over 9 days and usually we’re hesitant (especially from past experiences at other Boarding locations in the area) but it was clear from the photos and report from the staff that she had a blast. We will never take her anywhere else and I can’t recommend them enough!

I have two dogs, one of them very friendly, but one of them really only likes her brother. Despite this, Double J made sure to take the time to spend a little extra time with my “trouble girl” to make her feel more comfortable until she could fit in with the other doggies. Not only is this great for my dog, but it’s the right thing to do for the other dogs there too. You never know what happens if a dog feels threatened. Great job by Double J taking care of all of your clients’ dogs, and THANK YOU for making my “trouble girl” feel at home while I was away! And thank you for easing my mind! It’s a bit of drive for me, but I will be returning as a customer when the situation arises.

We left our Daisy for 9 days and picked her up a tired and happy pup. We loved the Facebook pictures so we could check in on her and each picture her tail was wagging and she had a huge “smile” on her face. The facility is large and the kennels are clean! Love knowing our fur baby is well cared for while we are away!

Our collie Max enjoyed his stay at Double J Pet Ranch and really loves the spacious outdoor playtime they provide with other friendly dogs! The kennels are clean and the pets are well cared for.

Best in class staff that genuinely cares for every dog and dog owner. Blizzy LOVES going to daycare at Double J she gets to run, play and socialize. Hands down recommend this for your fur baby, I live down south and commute 45 minutes during the work week to get there that's how incredible this place is.

Great facility, great employees. We love Double J and so does our dog. They take great care of him and make sure he gets his allergy meds whenever he boards. Highly recommended.

First time boarding with Double J Kennels, the girls must've had a good time, cuz they weren't in a hurry to get in the truck to go home! The staff there is super friendly, and let me know that my pups behaved in group play time, which is always nice to hear that your kids played nicely with the others! Will definitely go back!

I am writing this review while I'm out of town and it is my baby's first stay with Lynns Loving Pet Care. First of all, Lynn and her closest ones have been taking great care of my baby Biscuit. She sends video/text updates very frequently and makes sure that I am enjoying my vacation while she is taking care of my baby. Biscuit is a tiny 5lbs dog with very sensitive stomach. Any little thing can affect his stomach like mommy being away, new home environment and other many things. I brought up my concern when I dropped Biscuit off and as I expected, he started vomiting blood in couple days of myself being away. Lynn handled the situation VERY professionally. She gave me a call right away, noted me with the incident, asked me about medication dosage for treatment and kept him on a bland diet until he felt better. Biscuit was able to recover without any issues in a day. I now trust Lynn with my baby 200%. She will be my go-to boarding for Biscuit if I need to travel out of town. She will love your baby as much as you do and take care of your baby with all her heart. Thank you Lynn, Scott and Jimmy. See you soon when I'm back ❤️

We have brought our dog Gingersnap to Lynn’s Loving Pet Care several times. It is such a relief to know our pet is very well cared for while we are away. We boarded our 11 year old dog Bear with Lynn’s Loving Pet Care. He could not have had better care. He has many health issues and was taken care of so well. Lynn kept us updated about him and sent videos and pictures of him enjoying himself. There are no cages involved and he enjoyed lying on the couches and bed. Lynn deserves more than a 5 star rating. We will be happy to board Bear with Lynn again.

Lynn’s Loving Pet Care is the absolute best. I originally stumbled across her website when my planned pet sitter had to cancel at the last minute. Trusting your fur babies to strangers can be incredibly stressful. But Lynn immediately relieved that stress. You quickly realize that your babies become her babies. I won’t leave our fur baby anywhere else. It is truly her home away from home.

Highly recommend Lynn for your boarding needs. She watched our 8 year old lab mix this weekend while we were away and did an exceptional job. She shared pictures/videos and updates throughout the day. She does not kennel the dogs in her home which was one of our top priorities when choosing a place to board our boy. We felt so comfortable leaving our dog in her care. We will definitely be coming back!

We took our golden doodle to stay at Lynn’s loving pet care for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. We are always skeptical to leave her anywhere because she hates being away from her home and family. Lynn does such an amazing job with the dogs. She is licensed and has been doing this for 22 years, she treats your dog just like one of her own. Our dog is a very picky eater and she actually gained weight there. Lynn checks all the ingredients to assure they are safe for your pet. I loved that somebody was always there to tend to the dogs Lynn, her husband and brother in law. The dogs get so much attention and love and Lynn sent me a video everyday to show me how she was doing. We couldn’t be happier and have finally found her home away from home. I highly recommend Lynn’s loving pet care, excellent.

Fetch! Pet Care Castle Rock has been a life saver for us and our three dogs! We have a diabetic dog who requires consistent meal times and insulin injections, along with other medications. Andy and his team have made sure his needs were taken xare of as well as our other two dogs. Because we have been having to travel a lot recently, we have booked their overnight services, as well as their drop-in and walking services during the day. They walk all three of her dogs (two are terrible on a leash, but Andy is a rockstar with them!), play with them, give them snacks if we requested, and make sure they have freshwater and everything they need before they leave. They are great about taking photos and sending updates every step of the way. They are also very respectful of our property and always leave everything clean, locked up, and follow any instructions that are left. It’s so important to find someone that you can trust not only with your precious pets, but with your home. It’s important to know that someone will show up when they say they will and that you can depend on them. We feel fortunate to have found Fetch! Pet Care here in Castle Rock, and recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a pet sitting or dog walking services company.

Castle Rock Fetch Pet provided wonderful care for my older dog over the last 3 years. They have excellent pet sitters that become very "in tune" with the pet. And there was minimal change in walkers. The owner, Andy, seems to be very skilled in finding good staff. The business always met my scheduling needs even at the last minute. If one of my regular sitters could not come, the owner Andy took over the visit. My dog passed away this week and Andy, Dawn, Danette and Teri could not have been more supportive. If you are looking for pet care, this business is the one to call.

We have an anxious dog who doesn’t do well when boarded. It was so hard to find reliable and professional care…until we found Fetch! We love their reliability and the app they use to report on your pet and house. We love getting the photo updates every day and being able to communicate with the pet sitters so easily. On the rare occasion that a sitter couldn’t come, the owner of the franchise came to our house, personally, to ensure our dog was visited.

We love Fetch! The staff is always courteous and friendly, our dog walkers Dawn and Teri are caring and loving to our Maltese Zelda and the owner Andy goes above and beyond in accommodating any concerns or issues that we may have. The App is awesome to use and feedback is provided to us with GPS tracking along with pics and a narrative of their walk and time spent with our dog. Highly recommend!🐶

We were extremely happy with Fetch Pet Care, Andy and his staff. We hired Fetch to take care of our two dogs a few times so far this summer. Each time our expectations have been completely exceeded, not only were our dogs treated like royalty, we received regular updates, journals and pictures but Fetch did extra things like bringing in our mail, unpacking perishable packages, scooping poop and they were respectful of our home. Andy was very friendly engaging and reliable, his staff member assigned to us reflected the same values and was a delight to communicate with. We are thrilled to have them to call upon and most importantly our dogs loved them! We HIGHLY recommend them!

We will always call Fetch and specifically Sadie to watch our dog while we are away. She is by far the best dog sitter we could ask for.

Dawn was fabulous! She watched our 12 year old Lab and our daughter’s 10 month old Great Dane puppy while we had a party in our house. She kept them entertained and quiet. She had a great rapport with both of the dogs. I would highly recommend Fetch Pet Care for pet sitting!

Stability. I am confident that we have “our” pet sitter whether our next trip is is a week or a year. I appreciated the updates with photos. The dog created a huge mess and it was handled perfectly without hesitation. Above and beyond. Now I feel that I can go out of town without worry.

2022: Want to leave a more current review - Patricia's Pampered Pets and People, LLC is simply the best dog daycare around. Not only is our Mora spoiled, so are we. Mora's doggy social needs are met in their huge play area with many different breeds and doggy sizes as well as her health with adequate rest time during Classical Nap time. Mora gets excited when we take her out and when we pick her up she is happy, tired, and healthy. We could not ask for anything more. A five star rating each time. 2019:No better doggy daycare in Colorado Springs. Their no crate/kennel policy is like Mora is right at home. She loves this place and so do we!!!

Highly recommend! Our golden (4 yr old) has been going to Pampered Pooches Playground weekly for over a year now. We’ve also boarded her on multiple occasions for up to a week at a time, and couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she receives. She’s treated like one of the family! We greatly appreciate Patricia & Oliver’s focus on “quality over quantity”, day and night supervision of all of the pups, and regular texts with updates & photos of our girl playing.

Our lab loves going to spend time with Patricia and the other pups when we are away. He has so much fun playing and being loved on that when we pick him up he comes home and is exhausted! Patricia is incredibly communicative and great about giving updates and sharing photos of the fun that is taking place on her property. I would highly recommend leaving your pups here for a peace of mind while traveling. They really are well taken care of, have access to play freely, and also have the opportunity to rest and be part of the family while staying in Patricia's home as opposed to being left in a small crate or run.

We had a wonderful experience with Patricia. She was enormously flexible with us and spent a great deal of time up front with us explaining the setup and experience of boarding with her. We felt so comfortable that our dog was in excellent hands and well cared for. We also loved the updates and pictures sent throughout the week. We can’t wait to go back, it is the perfect experience for our pup!

We take our dogs to Patricia for day care and boarding and we wouldn't think of taking them anywhere else. Our dogs are always excited to go spend time with her. She is knowledgeable and has a good deal of experience. Every dog is vetted and approved before they stay with her. Very safe and clean environment. Kennel free! My two pups just spent a long weekend with her and I never worried about how they were doing. We received pictures and updates daily. It was wonderful.

Such a great experience from beginning to end! Patricia was very accommodating. I contacted her on short notice to board my dog and she went out of her way to make it work. She and her husband have a perfect set up and you can tell that they have been doing it for many years. Patricia sent me many updates and pictures while I was away and took time to ask specific behavioral questions about my dog. She really puts in the time, effort, and love to care for each dog individually. Between play time, naps, lots of snugs, and no noisy, overcrowded crates or kennels, my dog looked like he had a great time and I felt relieved while I was away knowing he was in such good hands. It was a very low stress experience for both my pup and I. I hope to use no one other than Pampered Pets & People for our boarding needs. Thank you Patricia!!

Patricia has taken wonderful care of both my dogs that have stayed with her. She goes out of her way to best meet your dog's needs. After a boarding visit, our pup came home with better greeting manners. She gets a great socialization experience and gets some training. Our last dog had some very specific issues with timing of eating. She was the only pet boarding business willing to accommodate her needs to minimize an upset tummy. I miss my dog's dearly when I have to leave them, but daily texts and photos about how they are doing put my mind at ease.

Our dog has been to Patricia for several day visits and also overnight for a vacation. We receive pictures/updates and Patricia is always very responsive with communication. Our dog comes home happy and tired... the best combo! She loves being outside in nice weather, so the big fenced play area is a big plus. The indoor free-roaming is what we all want for our fur babies! Happy to have found Patricia and Pampered Pets!

Amazing. They have an amazing home that they have dedicated to providing the best possible set up for these pups. Kennel free, free space to run and play, and plenty of love and affection! Big fenced in back yard, dog friendly landscaping, and even dog friendly inside space. My pup had the best weekend of her life - as evidenced by the several pictures and updates Patricia would so thoughtfully send throughout the day. It made me feel great knowing our dog was being loved on and having fun while we were away. This is my first and only choice for boarding from now on!

Patricia runs a top notch business. She evaluates every dog before accepting them into her home. My dogs love going there and my GSD has really come out of his shell since being introduced to that environment. He has become so much more confident and both dogs continue to thrive with their socialization skills. The environment she has created both in her home and in the play yard is fantastic. I love the pictures she send and the updates provided on how they are doing. I highly recommend her services.

Chloe did an excellent job of providing 4 mid-day visits. She was faithful in giving me a report (with pictures) each day. When my flight home got canceled, she agreed to visit on the 5th day. The web portal is easy to send emails, payments, etc. I’ll use again and I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough great things about this pet sitter! She was reliable and thorough. Every morning I woke up to a full daily report of her visit including updates on what she did each visit and how our cat was doing, with a few cute pictures as well. Distinctive Pet Care and Julie have been caring for my two senior dogs with all the love and cuddles I could ask for from a sitter. Julie has done overnight stays and mid-day walks for me. One of my pets is diabetic and requires timed insulin shots. The other is a puppy mill survivor and very nervous around new people. Julie has gone above and beyond to meet my dog's medical needs. Her patience and consistent care have helped to bring my shy dog out of her nervous shell. She now will run up to the door to meet Julie knowing there is a walk and a snuggle waiting. We LOVE our pet sitter, Kathy! It can be so nerve wrecking to find someone you trust to come into your home and take care of your pets, and we are so thankful for her! One of our pets is prone to medical issues and has been on lots of different medications and food. Each time we have to leave them we know Kathy can handle it and follow new and specific directions. We also LOVE getting a picture of them every time she comes to visit!

I love Distinctive Pet Care! We used them when we were out of town for five nights on vacation, and they had a fantastic in home sitter stay every night and another check in mid-afternoons every day. They sent pictures and an e-mail report every day both for the mid-day and the overnights, which was a huge relief to me. One of my dogs has abandonment issues, so coming home to see her so normal and happy was AMAZING! We will definitely use them every single time we go out of town or need a pet sitter.

We have used them for many different type of visits, from brief "mid day potty breaks" for random long work days, to two week long trips for mom and dad to go to Europe where they visit three times a day. Holly at Distinctive Pet Care did a wonderful job taking care of our bunny while we were on vacation. It was comforting to know he was in such good hands and the daily reports she sent after every visit were filled with information and pictures so we always knew what was going on. Holly's communication was stellar, her care for Milo was above and beyond and we will definitely use Distinctive Pet Care again.

I literally cannot say enough about Fran and Holly with distinctive pet care!!! I have a12 week old puppy and travel A LOT for work which would be very difficult if not for Fran and Holly. They do daily visits, overnight sitting and training. They are amazing with her and REALLY love her and care about her development and happiness.....it feels like family (only better because Fran is such a fabulous trainer) I would pay them twice as much as they charge for everything they have done for me and my sweet puppy!!!! Absolutely the best! Sending our quarantine puppy to doggie daycare twice a week has been the best decision I made. Luna has a lot of energy and with all of us working and schooling from home we just couldn't get her enough exercise. At Furever she gets much needed socialization and exercise. Greg is so kind and even sends me pictures of her playing with all of her friends. She gets so excited every time we sing the daycare song, she absolutely loves it! We've also boarded her there twice and it was such a relief knowing she was somewhere she was comfortable with people who genuinely care about her getting plenty of attention and play time. 100% recommend Furever Furry to anyone!

Nissa did such a great job grooming both my doodles!! Cut them super short like I asked, they look so good and all their fur is even! She was also extra gentle with my 14 yr old girl who is sore all over and nervous when getting trimmed. Happy to have found her and have a new favorite groomer:)

Highly recommend FurEver Furry Pet. They treat my girls (mini golden doodles) like their own whether they are there for the day, overnite or for a grooming. I'll skip my vacation and stay home if I can't leave them with Greg, Nissa and Katie. They're absolutely the best.

This place is amazing. They truly care fire your pups and watch for things that can help with bringing them back home as well. Skye is so amazing and truly lives each of the dogs she meets. It is a popular place so call early (maybe a month) to get a reservation. Make sure you’re 100% certain as well if you have to cancel. It gets taken that same day.

Like many people it’s hard for me to leave my dog to go on vacation. By the end I am more excited to reunite with him than finishing my vacation. Beau Monde takes the sting out of this! The caregivers there know his quirks and behaviors so well. That’s why I call them caregivers and not employees! Because they treat him like family. He even has play dates in the huge fenced open area with all their others guests. You will have peace of mind if you bring your pet here

We love Smiths Dog Lodge! Our boy Oakley is always so excited to visit and we know he is in the best hands. I don’t ever have to think twice or worry about leaving him because of the awesome care and environment with Smiths. It’s been a life saver for us to have that peace of mind. Everyone is super kind and the communication is easy and prompt. We have used boarding from one night up to several days, as well as day care services. I would never want to take our boy anywhere else!

Nancy and her son Canaan are the dog whisperers. The whole place is set up for the benefit of the dogs. The pups have their own kennel w their bed. They have a play yard and a field to run in. They are on a routine. Play. Fed. Naptime. Just like home. The dogs are screened and all fit in w the pack for playtime. When I picked Maggie up - she was happy. Healthy. Calm. Zero anxiety. It really is amazing. Thank you Smiths Dog Lodge. There is no place like this out there - what a gift.

Our Great Pyrenees loved his stay at Smith's Dog Lodge and was well taken care of with lots of space to roam! This is a fantastic place if you need to board your dog, especially for large breeds.

My dog’s first visit was great. He had a warm and fun environment and I didn’t have to worry. I sent an email about how he was adjusting and was quickly reassured he was adjusting to their routine and the other dogs.

Smith Dog Lodge is amazing!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a place who treats your furry family like there own while you are away or for Boarding and Daycare! I thought pick up for Daycare dogs started at 3:30 pm and I have been taking my fur baby Kodi there for almost a year. My husband went to pick up Kodi at 3:30. He spoke with James, the owner. It was a muddy, wet day. James stated very kindly that Daycare pick up starts at 4:00 pm. Kodi was muddy and not quite ready, but James was more than willing to get Kodi even when it was inconvenient to them, while my husband waited. This is totally my fault and I have, many times come to pick up Kodi early and the staff has never said a word. They would just get Kodi and wish us a great rest of your day. I'm AMAZED that no one mentioned to me that pick up hours started at 4:00 pm!!! I now know pick up hours AND I realize coming early was inconvenient to them but never knew because they would just get him and wish us a great rest of your day. That's incredible to me and says volumes about them! "Smith Dog Lodge" has always gone above and beyond in a professional and with genuine kindness with any situation! Kodi "RAN" today to see everyone. That was a first! Thank you for helping Kodi with his socialization skills!! I will recommend anyone to your amazing business. I never worry about Kodi. Our 10 month old golden doodle had never been boarded or around many dogs...the staff at Smith's Dog Lodge were incredibly professional! Getting our pup acclimated through the tour, they thoroughly assessed his demeanor to make sure he would be comfortable staying there. The staff's experience, knowledge and insight made me certain our pup was in the best of hands. Their attention to detail on any of his specific needs was exceptional. There is no one else I would trust taking care of our Copper.

We have boarded our very active lab/viszla mix here a few times over the last year, at the recommendation of our vet who boards her dog here. While they may be very strict in accepting new dogs, this is for the best - they strive for a good pack dynamic and give the dogs space and time to be dogs, which makes for a low stress boarding environment for your pup while you are away. After only a couple visits, our dog now recognizes the house and goes right into the back with no fear or hesitation. Most dog boarding facilities are more crate than exercise - At more "traditional" boarding facilities, our dog has come home stressed, sick, and sometimes injured - - it seems Smith's Dog Lodge is more play and fun than crate time, and she always comes home excited but tired in a good way. She's always healthy, well-exercised, and happy. The only drawback is - you have to be on your game if you need boarding for holidays - they fill up fast!

The team at The Smiths Dog Lodge are "just special" and really care about your dog! It's a gift they have and I believe James has a "specialness for dogs" like no other! They took care of our first Bernese Mountain Dog, Whisper's second family. He visited the Smith's weekly for daycare and multiple boarding days/weeks in his 8 years! We have a new Bernese Mountain Dog and she came to us at age 2 and there was no one else to trust her with but the Smith's! She loves it there and I am never stressed about her safety or well-being! We have been prepping her for some upcoming boarding and the entire Smith's Dog Lodge Team are excellent to work with! The Best Place For Your Dog, Paws Down!!

I highly recommend this place. I had a Christmas trip planned and the arrangements I made for my Puppy to stay didn't work out, so I called Daryana, and she opened and exception to keep him starting at that same day. She sent me pictures of him, gave him a bath and trimmed his nails. I felt that Charlie was in very good hands, and I had a peace of mind during my vacation.

Daryana recently provided exceptional care for my senior dog for ten days. She is so dedicated to the animals and cares deeply about their safety and wellbeing under her care. I felt as if she treated my dog as her own. I highly recommend her and believe Ralph looks forward to his next “vacation” on the farm!

Daryana is the only person I trust with my dogs! As a dog breeder, we need someone who can take care of ALL OF our dogs while we are away, but also take care of my dogs with the knowledge and expertise in our dog breeds and their temperaments. Daryana is amazing at what she does, her knowledge in dog care, as well as her etiquette and attention to detail when caring for the dogs in her care, is explicit. She is prompt and caring. She sends photos and videos of our dogs daily while we are gone, and really gives our dogs an “at home” feel. I will never use anyone but Daryana’s Backyard!!

We are beyond grateful for Daryana and Graeme and for the excellent care they provide for our dog. They are always so available and flexible, often accommodating late requests for overnights. They are so helpful in picking up and dropping off at convenient times, and provide fun updates while our pup stays with them. You can tell they truly love what they do and they should be recognized for running an outstanding business that they believe in.

March 21,2024 - we have had our dogs going to Daryana's for over 2 years and had consistently a great experience. Picture from drop off today - cute bandanas and happy dogs. This was the first time we left our 9 month old puppy and we were so nervous! But Daryana came highly recommended and our puppy was treated like part of her family. She posted daily pics on her FB page and our puppy was having a great time playing with other dogs in a safe and loving environment. Will definitely be using her again!

Daryana’s backyard is wonderful! We leave our little 10 lb “Lucy” with Daryana whenever we leave town or go on vacation. We can tell by how happy Lucy is on arrival, that it’s been a good experience for her. This helps us have a stress and worry free time away from home. Daryana is special, loves animals and it truly shows!! Just the best, by far! We are so, so glad we found Daryana!

We’ve used Daryana’s Backyard for a while for both our dogs Otis and Oskar. They always come back from visits clean, happy, and tired from so much playing !! Our dogs love going. When we start getting their bag ready they are chomping at the bit to leave. It’s so convenient that Daryana offers pick up and drop off services! Very affordable and we are so happy to have found Daryana’s backyard to help take care of our pups when we need it. Definitely would recommend to anyone in need of doggy day care or pet sitting services !

Daryana’s Backyard is an amazing place to take your dogs! Our three dogs (2 seniors, 1 3 y/o) have been going to daycare and boarding here for quite some time and it is the BEST experience we have ever had at a boarding/doggy daycare place. Daryana takes excellent care of our dogs and give them so much personal attention and loving. And our dogs love her and Graeme and being around all of the other dogs in her care. She is very careful about selecting dogs who get along with each other really well. Our dogs get so excited when we tell them where they’re going, and when we pick them up, they are so happy and exhausted! Daryana’s prices are very reasonable and she is flexible with requests (early drop off, etc). The personal attention and love our dogs get when they are in her care is exceptional! It is so relieving to know that when we are gone, our dogs are so well taken care of and loved and we don’t have to worry at all!

Daryana is the best! We have used her several times to dogsit our 2 pampered pups. Great communication, lots of photos and updates on how the dogs are doing. One of our dogs is shy and anxious, Daryana takes just great care of her and gets her to warm up for love and cuddled by the end of the stay! Highly recommend!

UPDATED REVIEW AUGUST 2024: I unfortunately can no longer recommend this boarding facility. Today we picked up our cats Rosco and Keanu from a 10 day stay (8/15/2024-8/23/2024), this is their 4th stay in 2 years with Tails Up. We texted to check in on them everyday and were told they were great. When we picked them up today though, it was clear they have been having diarrhea, with Rosco having lots of poo matted in his fur. They never let us know they were showing signs of illness, even with our daily check ins. They said nothing at pick up. Additionally, when picking up they informed me I could not go into the cat room to get them but had to wait and have them do it due to "the room being under construction" - that was a first but okay. They come out with my cats in their carrier and a bag with two of my cats toys and another animals medication, handing it to me saying this was theirs. I notified them it wasn't and instructed them we were missing a bag of many toys, a wand, blankets, etc. and their medication and treats. She came back with just the medication, told me I was good to go. Again asked about the bag of toys and blankets. Went back and brought just the bag of toys, said I was good to go. This went on for a total of 5-6 trips to bring us the rest of our stuff. She ended up still missing some wipes and our food scoop, but we didn't realize till we got home. The blanket we left in Rosco's crate also was in the laundry for some reason, they have never washed their bedding before which also tells me he must have had diarrhea bad enough to have to clean his bedding. We are very unsure if another animal's medication was administered to our cats based on this interaction, the diarrhea, and them acting very oddly since being home. Keanu keeps waking up in a panic from his naps like he is having bad dreams. It genuinely seems like they were not taken well care of while there. We are afraid they were administered medication that wasn't theirs and they could be sick from it. And they seem skittish and afraid. I do not know what the people at Tails Up did to them this time for them to react this way. They have been boarded for more than 10 days each time, and never come home like this. I texted their number right when we noticed they had diarrhea caked in their fur to ask if they had been sick, why we hadn't been notified if they had, and whether they had been administered another animals medication -- no response over 12 hours later. I have sent an email as well tonight, no response. Never received a "report card" either, even though their app notified me one should be available, which seems even more suspicious -- we have always received it right after check out. TLDR; I can no longer recommend this facility. They seemed to have misled me when checking in on their well being and his that they were having bad diarrhea, were completely disorganized on pick up (which is a first), lost several of our items, tried to give me another animals medication instead of their own to take home, and may have administered another animals medication to my cats. I cannot trust them to care for my cats and be conscious of their safety while boarding there, and my cats are acting traumatized now that they are home. Tails up did a great job of taking care of my cat, Charlotte for Christmas. They were quick to respond when I texted to check on her, gave her all of her meds and were willing to keep track of her litter box habits (as that was what the meds were for). She came home happy and healthy and it was a great relief to me. I will definitely be using them again the next time I need to leave town.

Tails Up is amazing and the only place I am comfortable leaving my pups. They offer enrichment sessions, training, and any extra care needed. I have two rescue dogs, each with their own set of needs, and they’ve always been well cared for and accommodated. I also love that they are staffed 24/7- that is very important to me and often not the case at boarding facilities. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone with fur babies:

Not for standard poodles. They ruined my dog’s top knot and now they both have bangs. Super nice and affordable but my groomer should have explained he can’t do a top knot. The outdoor pic was provided and the indoor pic is what I got. Standards are a hard breed to groom and I would have understood. Please be transparent about your grooming skills.

My shy rescue dog was taken care of by the sweet and caring staff. They cuddled her when she was scared while outside and helped her feel safe and comfortable. I was very nervous about leaving her here overnight, but she did very well and was happy to go back. We will definitely be returning!

This review is regarding the grooming service... I have taken my dog (Mini Bernadoodle) to Tails Up 3 times. I was especially disappointed the last 2 times. On the third appointment, I handed the groomer a short-written list of simple, reasonable requests having to do with the length of hair on her face, ears, tail, and legs. I asked for 1-inch length all around and 1 inch to be taken off the tail and ears. (I had made the same requests the second time verbally with no success.) The third time was the worst job yet. It seems that the groomer is insulted by requests and prefers to do what he wants and therefore completely ignores the client and does a shabby job as a result. I have included pictures…don’t let the cuteness of my dog distract you, notice the uneven face trim as well as the fact that her length is much longer than an inch. I will not be going back to this groomer or making any recommendations for his services.

Scheduled grooming session for 8a, decided to let my dog get some play time while there, so said I would pick up at noon; confirmed when I dropped off at 8a with man at counter that dog would be getting groomed, he answered yes; returned at noon to pick up dog, he was not groomed (which was why he was there in first place); desk person still required me to pay for day care, and said I could return at 3:15p to have dog groomed; he never offered to allow dog to stay until that time; I had to leave and return; no apology provided for lack of service, misunderstanding, or inconvenience.

Ashley is the best dog groomer we have ever used! Our dog loves her. We love her. I will never take him to anyone else! She has been there for us for an “emergency” groom. Made time in her schedule to help us. Loves our dog as much as we do. Even though he can be a handful. 🤣 Ashley is the best! Tails Up has a true gem in her! …

Great place to board our dog for a long weekend! Staff is friendly and great with our dog! We could check in on web cams and saw staff interacting positively with all dogs, including ours. We will use again!
